تو فروردین سال ۱۳۲۰، روزایی که بهار تازه پا گذاشته بود تو کوچه پس کوچه های تهران، پروین کم کم داشت با یه بیماری عفونی دست و پنجه نرم می‌کرد. همون روزایی که برادرش ابوالفتح، مشغول آماده کردن دیوان دوم اشعار خواهرش برای چاپ بود. اولش همه فکر می‌کردن بیماری پروین یه سرماخوردگی عادیه. اما خیلی طول نمیکشه که تبش هر روز بالاتر میره و این نشون از یه سرماخوردگی ساده نبود.
