本集連線到了巴黎，但今天要聊的內容可以說與浪漫無關（當然上節目的也不是艾米麗）。錄音兩端的我們一個在巴黎，一個在墨爾本，但聊的都是中國的事。來賓馬修來自成都，他領導的LGBTQ公益組織“成都米爾克”曾在當地舉辦各種各樣的活動，旨在給性少數群體提供一個更安全友好的環境，把那些不知所措的，失落的，孤獨的個體聯結在一起。
時代與政治環境終究沒有往好的方向改變。在過去的五年裡，中國的性少數逐漸在網上被噤聲，相關內容被消失或限流，大量的公眾賬號與同志組織也紛紛宣佈終止，“成都米爾克”也在這種政治環境的高壓下走進歷史，馬修離開中國到了巴黎，曾經一起努力過的其他人也分散到了中國或世界各地。
今天除了聊馬修做同志公益，以及和公權力周旋的經歷，我們也要回到成都這個最初的起點。成都一直被稱為“gay都”，那我們不妨也聊聊為何這座城市能夠有如此高的包容性。作為親曆者，馬修帶我們重新復盤2020年“MC浴室”因“聚眾淫亂”被關閉，以及成都某知名公園的群體BDSM被追查的事件。互聯網的記憶力很差，大家不妨來回憶一下，不要隨便忘記那個時候的輿論對於我們的社群有多大的惡意，以及有多少男同志迫不及待要與社群割席。
如今住在巴黎的馬修重回校園，充實但又自由。他對中國LGBTQ的未來依然還有希望。我從這一段對談中也被觸動和感染，沒有希望，就再也不會努力爭取。在最深的黑暗中，總還是要懷抱著光。
