Speaker 1 (00:03):
What would you talk about on your on your podcast
Elvis show.

Speaker 2 (00:19):
Slate? You know that's how they do it right in
the movies, Hollywood.

Speaker 3 (00:24):
Do you know the reason? Do you know the reason
why they do slate?

Speaker 2 (00:28):
You took what intro to film and video?

Speaker 3 (00:30):
I sure did.

Speaker 4 (00:34):
And by the way, the slate is the black and
white thing with the checkers when they say all right,
take and then it makes.

Speaker 3 (00:38):
That loud, clacking noise. It's so you can sync up.

Speaker 4 (00:42):
The audio and the video from an editor's perspective, so
you hear the click. So basically, when that thing closes,
you hear the click and you see it. So if
you're an editor in the room, all you got to
do is go to the point where they take slate
and match up the audio in the video and they know.
Everything else from then on will be insane and it's
not like your mouth is going to be moving it.

Speaker 5 (01:04):
It'll look like a Godzilla movie.

Speaker 6 (01:06):
Right.

Speaker 7 (01:06):
I'm gonna start doing that with like anything we do
a podcast, like.

Speaker 3 (01:11):
That's my sound for editing benefit, Dianna.

Speaker 8 (01:14):
You know how many episodes Deanna hasn't had that for.

Speaker 7 (01:16):
So, Diana, well, we also don't ever really edit anything
in here. So it should be okay.

Speaker 2 (01:22):
In fact, yeah, I think we should do one posted
podcast on Instagram that has our mouths out of sync
with the.

Speaker 5 (01:29):
There's a couple I watched them.

Speaker 2 (01:32):
Yeah, wait, just start moving your mouth right.

Speaker 7 (01:36):
Wait, you go back and watch all the fifteen minute
morning shows.

Speaker 8 (01:38):
What oh god?

Speaker 3 (01:39):
Should we buy a professional slight for our show and
do it? Yes? And then at the beginning.

Speaker 7 (01:47):
One on our very last day here, I think we
should put together a compilation of all of the things
that after the podcast we've been like, Deanna, edit that
out and just let them fly. I would be fascinated
to see how that goes. I mean, I know how
it'll go well, because we won't be here anymore.

Speaker 2 (02:01):
There was a cut, remember a couple we started like
five ten minutes and we're like, we can't, we can't
do well.

Speaker 9 (02:05):
There's the one we did with the guy from Tampa
that we'll never see the light of day.

Speaker 5 (02:09):
I don't remember.

Speaker 10 (02:09):
Oh, I remember that one was related with me that
Elvis made ye cut.

Speaker 7 (02:14):
There's been lots of stuff for lots of reasons.

Speaker 4 (02:16):
You know, you have your new podcast out right, Yeah,
sauce on the side. Oh thanks, care, Yes, I haven't
heard it yet, but on the problem I have on
my list, thank you. So I just wanted to say so.
On the on the Brooklyn Boys podcast, the rule is
no edits. We just go and if we make up,
if we screw up, we just we just keep rolling
with it and we let everybody hear it.

Speaker 3 (02:35):
Do you do that on your podcast?

Speaker 7 (02:37):
Uh no? So what I wanted to do on my
podcast is all of the people who don't have a
specific segment on the show, I'm trying to do an
episode with them. So Scotty actually wandered into the last
episode it's gonna get posted on Wednesday, and he sat
down and we had a great time. But there's a
lot of that that's coming out. Whatever is still in
there and that's still gonna fly is fascinating. And Scott you,

(02:58):
by the way, you sound really good when you speak,
really Yeah, your voice sounded great.

Speaker 2 (03:02):
I was like, oh my.

Speaker 7 (03:02):
God, well thanks, that sounds amazing. Yeah. So, but but
a lot of there's a lot of stuff I had
to take out, including him pounding on the desk.

Speaker 5 (03:10):
The whole time.

Speaker 7 (03:10):
Okay, yeah, man, he was livid.

Speaker 6 (03:13):
Very much like what do you have to take out?
Like stuff he doesn't want in there so many No.

Speaker 5 (03:17):
I know if I said it, I don't care if
it's in there.

Speaker 7 (03:19):
I care if there's stuff in there.

Speaker 6 (03:20):
Really yeah, show, Yeah, that's the podcast. I want to
stuff that you took out.

Speaker 7 (03:27):
There's just a couple of things that I'm like, the
jokes are too far, it's too fresh. We're gonna let
this settle for a minute.

Speaker 6 (03:32):
Okay, okay, before you know, we'll see.

Speaker 7 (03:33):
But I thought, I thought it was really good and
it's a great way to get to know Scotty.

Speaker 5 (03:36):
So I'm looking forward to I can think that because
that sucked.

Speaker 9 (03:39):
Thanks, But you always do that, like I've never heard
you go, you know, that was great. You always think
it's it's bad whatever you do, but it's actually very good.

Speaker 5 (03:47):
I guess in the moment, you're like, eh, I get it.
You can listen to it if you want.

Speaker 7 (03:50):
I'm not gonna change anything, but yeah, you'll you can
listen to it before if there's anything you want to change.

Speaker 2 (03:55):
But I'm excited.

Speaker 4 (03:56):
So yeah, remember that epic the episode of the serial
Killer you had beyond and we just were.

Speaker 3 (04:01):
Riffing for about a half hour and then Andrew wasn't recording. Yeah, oh,
or got deleted.

Speaker 10 (04:06):
Somehow, and that's something you can't recreate that because then
you know it's forced.

Speaker 5 (04:10):
Yeah, you know that.

Speaker 3 (04:11):
Was so sad.

Speaker 7 (04:13):
Hey, what is your podcast coming out?

Speaker 2 (04:16):
I have no idea. I got to get an idea,
a name, money to back it.

Speaker 5 (04:21):
You know what, I actually think money and podcasts.

Speaker 8 (04:24):
Not just milk, not just milk and cereal.

Speaker 7 (04:26):
So much money, Scotty, It's falling from the sky.

Speaker 8 (04:28):
It's crazy.

Speaker 3 (04:29):
You're gonna get paid in Cookie Crisp.

Speaker 7 (04:31):
Remember our friend that we had on The Captain. Yeah,
I think a podcast with the two of you would
actually be awesome. And I'm trying to convince him to
come on board with us and do some stuff with us,
and I think that would be great.

Speaker 8 (04:41):
I don't think he could handle it. It would be
making out.

Speaker 6 (04:44):
Yeah, he would have a heart attack.

Speaker 7 (04:45):
He's in love with that?

Speaker 6 (04:49):
What is that?

Speaker 3 (04:51):
What Sauce on the side is.

Speaker 2 (04:54):
It's hard to find somebody that is your exact match
in life. You know what I mean as far as
it guy goes finding somebody that you you know, not
only look like, but.

Speaker 7 (05:05):
He's like six ' six beard old twins.

Speaker 2 (05:08):
With finding people that have the same interest in you,
is very difficult. So that is a good idea.

Speaker 7 (05:14):
Be fun.

Speaker 2 (05:14):
We have to move up here from Florida, leave his
petting zoo behind.

Speaker 7 (05:19):
But or you guys could do like a zoom thing.

Speaker 8 (05:21):
Lots of people do that.

Speaker 2 (05:22):
Yeah, that's a good idea. Okay, all right, I file
it away.

Speaker 5 (05:26):
I don't know. I got a good podcast, I think so.

Speaker 6 (05:30):
I'm actually working on a book podcast with Sam right now,
because people keep asking me when are you're doing a
book club podcast? So Sam actually came up with the
idea and she's got all these her wheels are turning,
so working on that, and then Sheldon and I are
working on one. It's just that we haven't found the
time to do it.

Speaker 8 (05:47):
To stop selling houses.

Speaker 6 (05:48):
We've been working on one for years, and he has
all these ideas written down and things we want to
do and whatever. So it's coming, but we just you know,
how hard is it to right?

Speaker 7 (06:00):
I had different co hosts, I had all kinds of stuff.
I threw so many episodes in the track, So it's coming.

Speaker 2 (06:05):
Are like your first podcast that you were gonna do
was with What's your Name? From Wild and Out Justina.

Speaker 7 (06:11):
That was actually the second version, the first Remember my
crazy red hair comedian. I listened back to the episodes
and I was like, I will get in so much
trouble for all these because he's a mess and he
just says whatever the fuck he wants because there are
no consequences for him in life in any way because
you just answered him. Yeah he was on. The second

(06:33):
version was Justina okay. Third version is just me.

Speaker 8 (06:35):
Okay.

Speaker 5 (06:36):
What's the fourth version?

Speaker 8 (06:38):
You? Me and the Captain know.

Speaker 4 (06:40):
You guys don't know this because we just kind of
started it on our own, like about a month and
a half ago, very quietly. So you know, the Brooklyn
Boys podcast is a weekly podcast that I do. I
started a second podcast a week. It's called Slice Time.
And you know, the Brooklyn Boys fan club is called
the Slices. They call themselves the Slices Slice for Life.
So we did was we made an entire podcast where

(07:04):
Brodie and I just go through the talkbacks from the
feedback from the last podcast.

Speaker 3 (07:10):
So we literally like roll through the We roll through the.

Speaker 4 (07:13):
Talkbacks live every Monday or Tuesday at the beginning of
the week, like one about forty or fifty of these.

Speaker 2 (07:19):
No preview, no preview, no preview, no no, so they
just no, but they're great and we respond to them.

Speaker 4 (07:25):
And some people, you know, they criticize us here and there,
but we love it. But the fact is it's just
my very mystery Science Theater three thousand, you know, where
they just play those old black and white movies and
they had, like the critics commenting on the movies, people
just leaving talkbacks, us playing them, and us recording our
reactions to them.

Speaker 3 (07:43):
Every week. Yeah, you still that you should?

Speaker 2 (07:45):
You should.

Speaker 4 (07:46):
It's another thirty episode and it gives them the extra side.
It puts extra sauce or leftover sauce.

Speaker 5 (07:53):
Name.

Speaker 4 (07:53):
But as soon as you start getting those talkbacks, you're
gonna need an entire podcast episode companion every week just
for that.

Speaker 7 (08:00):
I don't even know where those come.

Speaker 6 (08:02):
Yeah, a lot of people, a lot of people do
this on YouTube, and they like will listen to like
comments about them or what people say about them on
the comment Oh hell, it's great.

Speaker 7 (08:13):
You want to know what people think of you?

Speaker 3 (08:15):
Yeah, I don't. I've got thick skin. I've been doing
radio since the nineties.

Speaker 2 (08:20):
To have another podcast to comment on the second podcast, well.

Speaker 4 (08:24):
Then yes, this is okay, but we give that time
to the listeners to comment and do what they want
and then like fire back at us.

Speaker 3 (08:32):
Okay, and so there may be a need for a
third where we yeah, check it out. It's on the
Ovistan network, a podcast kind of like you go, oh,
he's in there. So you guys have bull chat.

Speaker 10 (08:48):
Yes, it's like the side podcast the serial Killers where
we just talk about whatever the hell. And by the way,
we have some big news about serial killers. But as
of the time of this recording, we're not quite allowed
to say, but.

Speaker 7 (08:59):
Don't drop in my episode.

Speaker 5 (09:01):
Yeah, oh will it will? Okay, good bye.

Speaker 8 (09:04):
It's not the photo release the news.

Speaker 5 (09:05):
No, it's not the photo. It's just something we're not
allowed to say until what.

Speaker 7 (09:09):
It's today that just announced it is today.

Speaker 5 (09:13):
I don't know.

Speaker 7 (09:13):
Okay, well then I guess you'll have to listen to
sauce on this side.

Speaker 6 (09:18):
Good news, good news.

Speaker 3 (09:19):
Oh I know what it is? Andrew told me. Yeah,
yeah that this is exciting. Isn't that cool?

Speaker 5 (09:23):
Yes? I don't know what it is.

Speaker 8 (09:25):
You do, I think you do?

Speaker 5 (09:27):
We do, I think, Nate, Danielle, you know.

Speaker 6 (09:30):
What is it?

Speaker 7 (09:31):
Pull the mics down, let's tell me.

Speaker 11 (09:33):
Wait, wait, get we got nominated for a podcast how
come you didn't say it yet because we're not allowed
to say it till it's actually announced, and they just
they're dragging.

Speaker 5 (09:45):
Their feet around nine o'clock. They're on l a time. Yeah,
but they usually released it early.

Speaker 2 (09:50):
I think it's like nine or ten okay that they
do that.

Speaker 5 (09:53):
I don't want to get in trouble.

Speaker 3 (09:55):
Okay, by the time you see this or hear this,
it will have been released. So this sounds foolish.

Speaker 9 (10:01):
Hopefully maybe they hear it. It's not happening anymore. I'm sorry, guys,
that's the thing.

Speaker 5 (10:05):
I don't want to mess it up because it may
never happen again. Anyway. You're you're very.

Speaker 2 (10:11):
Uh you know, special company because somebody else was also, you.

Speaker 5 (10:16):
Know, in that group.

Speaker 2 (10:17):
Yeah, here in this room, it's crazy.

Speaker 5 (10:20):
Was it scary?

Speaker 8 (10:22):
Yeah?

Speaker 3 (10:22):
What's that?

Speaker 2 (10:23):
Now?

Speaker 8 (10:23):
You're you and you and Scotty?

Speaker 3 (10:25):
Yes we have that in common.

Speaker 7 (10:26):
Are we committing like the biggest radio fopa right now?
Which is just dick teasing everybody and not letting them
know what we're actually talking about?

Speaker 5 (10:33):
Life is all about dick teasing.

Speaker 3 (10:35):
Tickling the balls to cut out a feather.

Speaker 5 (10:39):
Well, how about this?

Speaker 2 (10:39):
Where can the people listening now see this information. Can
they go to some Instagram later in the days.

Speaker 5 (10:46):
I don't know. I guess.

Speaker 3 (10:49):
Trying to.

Speaker 5 (10:49):
I'm not mad. I don't know because I don't know.
I have no idea.

Speaker 9 (10:51):

winner of a Grammy and she did not win it,
but it was on the Grammy websites. Now people are like,
it's a conspiracy. They took it away from her, like
no one could ever make a mistake.

Speaker 2 (11:31):
