Speaker 1 (00:03):
What would you talk about on your on your podcast?
Firm Elvis Presents fifteen minute Morning Show. Okay, I guess
we're starting. This is the alright, Scary's got it, Elvis's

(00:24):
glasses on. I can't see you. I hate it so
for your glory, Oh my god, he there you are? Okay,
all right, well we'll start. Who has something to talk about? Well,
let's just explain the train has left the station. Yeah,
there's nobody in here to Okay, we started. Are you
wearing my glasses? Because I'm pretending I was used for
a hot second, and do you know where people's glasses?

(00:46):
That's gross. I'll tell you what it's like. It's like
sharing underwear, passing out everythinking was so fuzzy for a second. Well,
hold on a second. If Scary doesn't clean behind his
ears properly, now when you put those glasses on, you're
gonna have whatever funk he has. Oh yeah, fecal matter.
Can you sanitize these please, he's not Scary funk on them,

(01:07):
boil them in water. Burnham Burnham was Scary was probably
the worst liar as a kid, because he came in
and said, what did you wear my glasses? And His
answer was, you're not going to deny. I'm gonna have
to lean into it. At that point, I was in Scotty,
Scotty is not on, right, he was on. He's a

(01:31):
bad liar. Look, Scotty was clearly not on, and you're
like yes. So I was in there working with Scotty
and he said, what the hell he's got your glasses on? Like,
what is he doing? What do you wear my glasses for?
Back to scary gas lighting star guys lighting me scary?

(01:54):
He's on right now. I gotta go do something. Moment
you leave, Scar is gonna do something. Oh my god,
what we're talking about. I don't know where are we
going here. First of all, David Brody, the biggest lab
on the podcast, I'm surprised he's missing a minute of this. Yeah,

(02:16):
he's sitting outside the studio. He's he doesn't realize we're
doing it. And then on top of that, he still
has to go get his computer and stuff, so he's
going to be like another tournaut. So by the time
he gets all this stuff will be done, be done.
He's talking classic rock with the classic rock radio station.
Uh programmer. I think we can hear Scotty even though, well, yeah,
because that she needed to come in because Scotty is on.

(02:38):
Scotts on or off, because here he wasn't on earlier,
was he he was not? He wasn't on because Elvis
was in there recording with him, and I didn't want
the recording to bleed over to the podcast him off.
But but Elvis said Scotty's not on, you go, yeah, yes,
as you turned me on. The reason it's funny, I

(02:59):
do same thing. Sometimes I'll be like, oh, that's that's fine,
it's fine, and at the time you're saying that you're
fixing it. Can you can you Okay, here's another thing
that Scary does. Can you explain the Jedi mind trick
that you do to Elvis? The Jedi mind trick? Can
is it? Wait? Is it when we try and get
off for a holiday and then we're like, we always
take off Harbor Day? Come on? We all yeah, we

(03:20):
all get If enough people agree to it, then Elvis
figures and we must have said it at some point.
I took a class one time. It was like how
you can get people to do stuff you don't want
them to do, and like business and stuff, and one
of them was you have to convince people that it's
their idea, that that what you're saying is their idea.
That's kind of what Scary is doing here is that, Yeah,

(03:41):
remember you you did that before. We you were fine
with it, We did that before, and then they're like, okay,
I guess that we have and then yeah, go ahead,
I remember you doing it, Like, hey, so you still
wanted to take Monday off els is like, no, I
never wanted to in the first place. That can go
really well or backfire horrifically once they figure out that

(04:01):
that's what you're trying to do. I'm pretty sure that
this is what people do to like the elder community,
to try and get them to sign papers and stuff.
Are you accusing Scary of elder abuse? Not yet, because
Elvis isn't an elder. But I can see what Scary
is gonna be like when people hit that part like
you remember you wanted to give me your entire home?
Remember right here, Scary when Elvis walked in it and

(04:25):
he goes, you wanted me to wear your glasses? You're
totally elder? What's been going on for a long time? Yeah? See,
I thought you were going to go with the trick
Scary does where right before we're coming back from a
commercial break, you know that's counting down, and with fifteen
seconds left, Scary goes, Hey, Elvis, remember this bulb blah
blah blah blah. And that's the last thought Elvis's head
that that also happens to. But I don't do that.

(04:47):
I don't do that on purpose. I don't do so
you don't wait till fifteen seconds before the clock's done.
Here comes to President of Programming Tom Holman. Gentlemen, podcast
you said podcast, Oh my god, ship are still on

(05:17):
the podcast? He comes in. We usually hit him with
something horrifically, so that's why he understand why he seems
like he would learn God. He just don't. Yes, they're
actually accusing me of trying to Jedi mind trick you
on certain things and give put ideas in your head
that I say, are your idea first? And you know
that never works, right, doesn't I said, I think it

(05:39):
can backfire horrifically, and if he does that to an
older person, I'm pretty sure it's against the law. So
he's really But my favorite thing is both brody and
scary to this thing. Hey, remember when I told you
we should have a discussion on the air about chocolate
and versus white chocolate. You love that idea, and I'll
look at him. I never love that idea, because you

(06:01):
guys do that all the time. Remember we told you,
and you you love that topic, you want to talk
about it on the show. Never I never ever wanted
about Elvis. You know what. I can admit this to
Bridie and Scary do this. They use your name when
when they come to me and they're like, hey, Elvis
wants this song, and then I'll put this song in
and you'll go, I don't. I don't want to how
you want that? That gets results every time, But that's

(06:25):
not fair. Time in the name of Elvis. Next time.
Next time anyone comes up to you and says, hey,
Elvis really wants this song, ask me. I'll let you
know if they're full of ship or not. Okay, right
here that yeah, I heard that, because you guys do
those Jedi mind tricks all the time. You remember I
told you about that topic. You loved it. I'll look
at you and never like, no, I think you honestly

(06:47):
don't remember, Like I'll write it down. I think you're
full of ship, and I think this room knows exactly
what I'm talking. I would say percent of the time
we lie to you, but there is that tys higher
than that. There's a twenty percent where you sometimes and
we remind and sometimes you'll go, you know what, thank
you for reminding me. So we hold out hope for
that one time we'll go, thank you for reminding, like, hey,

(07:13):
you still want to take everyone's talking at the same time.
Back in the day, years ago, before Nate booked the guests,
I booked the guests, and there were several times where
I would book a guest and the morning that the
guest was supposed to come on the show, Elvis would
say to me, why did you book this guest? I
never said yes to this guest, and he would get

(07:34):
very upset. So I started to have Elvis signed contracts
that said, you booked this guest, please sign this contract
that last three day, last very long. But so sometimes
back then you did you did, you know, just be
happy I'm here, there you go we are. Sometimes Sometimes
I have like you're city in the hand. Sometimes I don't.

(07:57):
I used to have a boss that I had to
make signed contra x for stuff and then it got
to the point where he would then just rip the
contract up in my face. I still think Yandi and
Froggy are excluded from this, but I think everybody else
needs to work for another morning show host for a
week and then realize how great it is here. Right,

(08:20):
We all work for other people that aren't that great.
It's true. Yeah, the rest of it about a spoiled
little babies have no idea how good we have it. Yeah,
my only job ever. I got this job in college
and I'm still here to this day. I don't know
what it's like outside of this bubble. I think you should.
You know what I'm gonna remind you tomorrow. You said

(08:40):
that the time. I'll back you up on that way. Hey, Elvis,
don't you remember yesterday when you said scary going another job?
And you'll be like, yeah, I remember what were you saying? No,
you also do this to Elvis where you say, hey,
you still used I want to take Monday off, right,

(09:01):
I was like every Monday, And then he tries to
get the rest of them. Hey, hey, you need to
help me out with this. You know scary ago, you
know Monday's arbor day? Right, Yes, he really should take
off it. We missed it year. He lies about previous years.
We took off day for a number of years and

(09:22):
you liked it and has worked with No, it doesn't
although we now take off Columbus Day occasionally. Never again, No,
never again, but we did once you he lied to
you and you felt for it, and then you said
never again. Elvis. Here's how I know this is true
about scary doing the day's off thing, because you were
out of the room and the first example we said
was scary uses Harbor Day all the time. You just

(09:44):
day exactly, Sark. Did you just turn me back on?
Was I off the whole time? Because I saw you
look at me and then do this on. Elvis likes
when he turns you off that scary reminded alright, haven't
even one time? I've got a meeting. I think good.
I think we've we squosing all the juice out of

(10:06):
this that we could possibly get. Just made it one.
I vote yes, Sue. I thought it was so yesterday,
was I I've uh no, I screenshotted you? Oh I
thought it was screenshot. I did too, but someone said screenshotted.
I was like, oh, I always say screenshotted Is that

(10:28):
not correct? I don't know, I don't I think the screenshots,
the down and the screenshot. It is the past tense verb.
You should say screen shot. Can Nate tell his joke
that he was telling us earlier? Okay? How would this
is such a dad joke is so funny? How would
how would Sean Connery describe Amber Heerd's bed sheets, how

(10:52):
they're shotting shot in get It, Get Shot. I love
telling Sean Connery, I shak ship on my face, shut
on my face, on my face, other than I gonna

(11:15):
get out of shot. In the fifteen minute Morning Show
