We've got Danielle. Did I get everyone? I mean, we're

(00:46):
all over the I think I got forgotten. We have
so many people, but each person is very important. Alright, Well,
today's Thursday, our favorite day of the week. Um, we
had a pretty good show today. It was fine. We
were very late and very late. We were late every break,
every break Na goes. We're late, West late, westall late.

(01:07):
But it was fun. Yes, it's Friday, Jr. You know what.
It's all Casey in the Sunshine Band's fault. They just
would not stop playing their hits this morning. If you
missed the beginning of our show, we played six songs
by Casey and the Sunshine Band. I didn't know there
were that many. I didn't either. Full of hits, they're
full of hits. He's not touring still his name is

(01:28):
Harry is his name isn't it? Yeah? Harry Wayne Casey,
his name is not Casey. Oh, Harry sounds like a
serial on the Sunshine Band. Sounds like a serial killer,
it does, Harry Wayne Casey. Oh yeah, but there was
a Wayne ga Killer Casey. Harry Wayne Gacy, Casey Casey.

(01:53):
This is the most boring podcast ever. What do you
guys want to talk about today? Can we talk about
what people are guessing right now? On the text message? Yeah,
go ahead picked it up. So at the at the
end of our show, we talked about producer Sam's podcast
where a Bad Wedding Podcast were an episode four, she
and her fiance talk about the craziest sex they've had,
but she didn't allude to what her fiance Bill did.

(02:15):
So people are guessing some really off the wall things. Yeah.
One was what did her fiance get pegged? I can
see that, Yeah, I could see it. I think I
know what he says as he's standing behind. I didn't
know what pegging was till I came here. I didn't.
I didn't know what that I know, but it's it's

(02:36):
anal sex from the woman to the man. What you've
done you've done it, but you didn't know what even know?
It's called that shut up? The name of that video
called strap it on a bend off a boyfriend? Boyfriend?
When is this? It was a porn made for did
I lose this in the stroke? It was a porn
before you made for heterosexual couples where she strapped one

(02:59):
of plows plows to town and the guys enjoy this. Yeah,
they did it in a deadpool. Bryan Reynolds gets pegged.
I know he got picked in dead siler joy it.
How do you know? I don't know. Maybe you should
try and why did you yell? I can see that
I can see from William and Sam, but not from me.

(03:21):
We hold on. What about William makes you be able
to see that? I can just see because I don't know.
William seems to be open tool. He's very pretty. Are
you picturing? Are you picturing him right now? Gandhi, you're
smiling ear to ear. I'm laughing at this whole conversation. Wait, wait, wait,
have you ever pigged? Brandon? No? Hell no, I just

(03:42):
like that scary say stuff and then try to get
out of it. It's like I just wanted I want
him scary to keep going with why he thinks William
is peggable and has been back out of this parking spot?
Really scary? Is brand No way? Not a shot? Is Nate? Yes?

(04:03):
If he was facing a mirror, I remember experimenting back
every one time. I didn't enjoy it at all. Let's
talk about that. What did you? Let's put it this way.
If I had the hiccups, I wouldn't have anymore, and
I didn't like it. I didn't like you put a
ring on that finger. Oh god. I just want to

(04:23):
know what makes someone peggable versus not right? They want
to be pegged? You've never been pegged? Froggy? No? What
what come out? You asked that as if like you're
so sure that I have what? What? I don't know?
Lisa seems kind of dominant At times I thought, just
take charge. No, No, I think if anyone in this
room is pegable, it's Scotty B. I think he's he's

(04:45):
been pegged. Yeah for sure? Are you against it? Scottie?
Would you be like totally against it? I mean I'm
not totally against anything. I mean I don't think you
can be against things until you try. Have you been
against it, then away from it, then against it and
away from it. That's a fair question. Yeah, we just
will answer the question. No, you never know if you're
peggable or not till you're in the moment. Yeah. Mom

(05:07):
always used to tell me. Okay, Mom, still have been
talking about that. I kind of want to call Brandon
right now and ask him his thoughts on it, because
I know he's going to be like, get though, what
are you talking? Like? What if? What if Brandon said yes,
then what do you do? He would not say, come on?
Then I'm gonna have to go make a purchase and
have some fun tonight. No, No, he wouldn't. I know
he wouldn't. But I'm saying if he wanted it, I'd

(05:29):
be like, cool, let's do let's bring gun to your head.
Your girlfriend says, marry me or get pegged? Which do
you choose? Come on in, I guess we're breaking up.
Here comes the president. They're talking about heart media keep
so far's ever been pegg I don't even know what

(05:58):
this means, that he's walking back to an office that's
not him. Yeah, but you see how funny he's walking
here just looking for a way to exit that he
really careful how we present this? Have you ever been paid?

(06:18):
You know? You know what look a deer gets when
it's in your headlights, That's the look Tom Pulmy, Elvis,
what would you have said if you weren't being careful
how you presented it? My expectations for what he was
about to be asked? You know, every time Tom Polman
walked into this office, we asked him something. You remember
that last time he's he's googling it. He gave no,

(06:42):
he and we asked him. We asked, Tom, you weren't
doing the podcast today? We asked him something and he goes,
can you have to hit that out of the podcast?
He still he can't find his office. Get us asked
for you know, better than to commit here, no forts,

(07:05):
he still looking for his elfice. Did you ask him
about getting fixed once he's so confused he can't find
his office. Yeah, we talked to him about his victomy.
And then what about that time he stuck your finger
your pinky finger stuck his finger in people? Anyway, we
move on? What else can we talking about? Anything? Should
we just stop there? I don't feel like we were done.
We have to put a disclaimer onto or bottom. No,

(07:28):
I think it was actually relatively clean. Yeah, all right,
look we gotta go. We have work to do. Thank
you for listening to the seven minute Heaven Bye by
the fifteen minute Morning Show

The Burden

The Burden

The Burden is a documentary series that takes listeners into the hidden places where justice is done (and undone). It dives deep into the lives of heroes and villains. And it focuses a spotlight on those who triumph even when the odds are against them. Season 5 - The Burden: Death & Deceit in Alliance On April Fools Day 1999, 26-year-old Yvonne Layne was found murdered in her Alliance, Ohio home. David Thorne, her ex-boyfriend and father of one of her children, was instantly a suspect. Another young man admitted to the murder, and David breathed a sigh of relief, until the confessed murderer fingered David; “He paid me to do it.” David was sentenced to life without parole. Two decades later, Pulitzer winner and podcast host, Maggie Freleng (Bone Valley Season 3: Graves County, Wrongful Conviction, Suave) launched a “live” investigation into David's conviction alongside Jason Baldwin (himself wrongfully convicted as a member of the West Memphis Three). Maggie had come to believe that the entire investigation of David was botched by the tiny local police department, or worse, covered up the real killer. Was Maggie correct? Was David’s claim of innocence credible? In Death and Deceit in Alliance, Maggie recounts the case that launched her career, and ultimately, “broke” her.” The results will shock the listener and reduce Maggie to tears and self-doubt. This is not your typical wrongful conviction story. In fact, it turns the genre on its head. It asks the question: What if our champions are foolish? Season 4 - The Burden: Get the Money and Run “Trying to murder my father, this was the thing that put me on the path.” That’s Joe Loya and that path was bank robbery. Bank, bank, bank, bank, bank. In season 4 of The Burden: Get the Money and Run, we hear from Joe who was once the most prolific bank robber in Southern California, and beyond. He used disguises, body doubles, proxies. He leaped over counters, grabbed the money and ran. Even as the FBI was closing in. It was a showdown between a daring bank robber, and a patient FBI agent. Joe was no ordinary bank robber. He was bright, articulate, charismatic, and driven by a dark rage that he summoned up at will. In seven episodes, Joe tells all: the what, the how… and the why. Including why he tried to murder his father. Season 3 - The Burden: Avenger Miriam Lewin is one of Argentina’s leading journalists today. At 19 years old, she was kidnapped off the streets of Buenos Aires for her political activism and thrown into a concentration camp. Thousands of her fellow inmates were executed, tossed alive from a cargo plane into the ocean. Miriam, along with a handful of others, will survive the camp. Then as a journalist, she will wage a decades long campaign to bring her tormentors to justice. Avenger is about one woman’s triumphant battle against unbelievable odds to survive torture, claim justice for the crimes done against her and others like her, and change the future of her country. Season 2 - The Burden: Empire on Blood Empire on Blood is set in the Bronx, NY, in the early 90s, when two young drug dealers ruled an intersection known as “The Corner on Blood.” The boss, Calvin Buari, lived large. He and a protege swore they would build an empire on blood. Then the relationship frayed and the protege accused Calvin of a double homicide which he claimed he didn’t do. But did he? Award-winning journalist Steve Fishman spent seven years to answer that question. This is the story of one man’s last chance to overturn his life sentence. He may prevail, but someone’s gotta pay. The Burden: Empire on Blood is the director’s cut of the true crime classic which reached #1 on the charts when it was first released half a dozen years ago. Season 1 - The Burden In the 1990s, Detective Louis N. Scarcella was legendary. In a city overrun by violent crime, he cracked the toughest cases and put away the worst criminals. “The Hulk” was his nickname. Then the story changed. Scarcella ran into a group of convicted murderers who all say they are innocent. They turned themselves into jailhouse-lawyers and in prison founded a lway firm. When they realized Scarcella helped put many of them away, they set their sights on taking him down. And with the help of a NY Times reporter they have a chance. For years, Scarcella insisted he did nothing wrong. But that’s all he’d say. Until we tracked Scarcella to a sauna in a Russian bathhouse, where he started to talk..and talk and talk. “The guilty have gone free,” he whispered. And then agreed to take us into the belly of the beast. Welcome to The Burden.
