Speaker 1 (00:03):
What would you talk about on your on your podcast.
Firm presents Minute Morning Show. Let's see if this works.
Welcome to the fifteen Minute Morning Show podcast. I see
Froggy and Danielle and Gandhi and Scary and Scotty B.
(00:25):
And there's Straight and Eate, and there's there's a Garret
and there, oh, there's David Brodie. How you doing? Welcome Rody?
Are you officially on? I can't hear it, Brodie, I
can't hear you. Is your is? Let's not do an
entire fifteen minutes of this snowball uncle. Oh there he is. No,
(00:52):
I think my level. Okay, now you're on. Okay, now
we hear you. Hi, Brody, Hi, Scary, stop screwing me.
I'm not. I don't think he's I don't think he's
screw you knows. I don't think he knows why. God
only knows why we have this trouble every day. Let's
(01:13):
go around the room and get everyone's opinion on why
they think it doesn't work. Froggy will start with you.
I just Brody, I don't I think you set up
like at the last minute, and that's why it doesn't work.
And there's a lot of moving pieces here, and so
I think if we set up earlier, maybe we would
have better success. Do you care to that's the theory. Okay, alright,
(01:35):
let's move to Danielle. Danielle, I'm sure you have you
have the answer. What do you think? I agree with Frog?
I've got lots of answers. I agree with Froggy, but
I also think that he's got too much crap and
that he can whittle it down to what Garrett uses
and they would be much simpler to set up. All right,
(01:55):
let's go. We we're sending him a new microphone. It's
it's already ordered. Brodie. Did he did? Andrew get in
touch with you for your address? Yes, we're all confirmed. Okay, Gandhi,
what is your hypothesis? I'm gonna put Froggy and Daniels
together and say it's probably a combination of not setting
up early enough and then not buying the right equipment
(02:16):
even though Scary told him to. I think it's probably
both of those things. So so far, they're saying it's
it's not Scary, it's basically you, that's what that's what
they're saying. I'm not saying it's true. I would say
Froggy is right, and everyone who agree with him. The
problem is because the way Scary has it set up.
I have to listen to my bluetooth earpiece to the
(02:38):
radio station through my phone, and I'm using my phone
for zoom, so I can't go into zoom until right
before we get into zoom. Scary is there is there
a better way to do you Garrett can boom run in.
I don't understand the different thing. Garrett and Brody are
using the same exact line, the same exact program I'm using,
(02:58):
so Garrett never has problems connecting. I think I think
it's a sorry to say this, it's a Mac PC
thing because Garrett has a Mac and I'm not using
my Mac on my PC. It's not that it's the
phone I told you using. I'm using my phone for zoom,
and I'm also using my phone to monitor the feed
(03:20):
from Scary crap, not using my computer. Scary right. It's
the jankety droid problem. She had an iPhone, it would
work right away. It's not a phone problem. It's the
way Scary as you set up. I hate you. Let's
let's let's not turn this into a battle. I mean
when we were here for solutions. Now, Uh straightenate the
(03:42):
senior executive producer. You've got to fix this. This is
all happening on your watch. This makes you look bad.
It's acting on my watch. The the the employees working
from home would have purchased the proper equipment in order
to broadcast from home. I know, Danielle and Froggy and Gandhi.
You Elvis, you got higher speeded higher speed internet in
(04:02):
order to broadcast from home without any glitches. You probably
spends All the people you mentioned had equipment provided by
the radio states also spend money out of their own
pockets in order to get their setups. Uh correct. And
you know, I just feel like if I was broadcasting
from home, I would have done the same. And I'll
sell my three kids and buy scary system. Oh my god,
(04:28):
somebody pulled up the victim card. Okay, so Garrett, So no,
we go to Garrett. Now, Garrett is a very key
in this conversation because you actually have the same setup
that Brodie should have, and you did. Did the radio
station send equipment home with you? Um? Okay, so but
it's working. It's working. So you really think that it's
(04:49):
just having that big fat, penile looking microphone as the
answer correct, correct, you know when you're I want to
be the kid in the class that knows he has
the right answer, but I don't want to like push
it in anybody's face. So I'm just gonna sit back
and let everybody else tell Brodie. All in all fairness, though,
when we first started this, Brodie said he was using
a PC to monitor one other thing, but he wasn't
(05:10):
connected to another thing. He had four different computers going
on at first. I don't know where the setup is now,
but the truth is that if he had a MAC
and he had this microphone, he would be fine. Two
steps okay, alright, alright, I'm not about the Mac. I've
got a question for Brodie reclaiming my time. Brodie, what
are those trophies behind your head? What did you win?
What word are those four? Oh? Yeah, you're doing yeah, oh,
(05:35):
bowling trophies showing trophies. I don't know how those got there.
We'll show us because they weren't there last yesterday. Oh
they were here yesterday. You didn't notice him because because
yesterday we're looking at your ceiling. Okay, you know, the
(05:55):
ironic part is everything is working today and I'm still
getting great. As far as of this, he says he
doesn't have the money, he has all these kids, etcetera, etcetera, etcetera.
He has not been driving into work, so he has
not been paying for gas or tolls. By my calculations,
not using the Holland Tunnel, You've saved over seven hundred
(06:17):
dollars and tolls alone. Congratulations. So I've so I've gone
from not making enough money to making enough money. Oh
stop now, now, I'm gonna now now, please don't even
hold on. I'm not implying the company is not paying
me enough. I'm just implying my bills with too much. Yeah,
(06:40):
that's Mic has no volumes control because oh my god,
suck it. Scary and scary mics very low, scar very low.
Your Mike is low. And what Gandhi? What Gandhi? What?
But look at big You know what happened? What happened?
(07:02):
You know what it's wrong with you? I didn't Okay,
what's that, Gandhi? What were we saying? I wanted to
add on to what Nate said about the economics and
pointing out Brodie has kids, but Garrett has kids too,
and Garrett bought the microphone. Okay, I'll answer that. Garrett
(07:26):
has two young kids. I've got three and ones in college.
It's a much more expensive situation. Do you need your
kids have jobs? How's your kid doing? He's seventeen, he
is a job. He works thirty two hours this week.
He's doing great. Yeah, you've you've got one kid. He's working. Though.
(07:50):
You know, my kid was in her second year of
college at seventeen, was not going to turn into this.
I don't know. I'm just being I'm just amused beyond belief. Brodie.
I will say. I will say Brodie that throughout this, uh,
(08:10):
what are we quarantine you? You seem to have become
a little bitter and I'm trying to get to the
bottle of that. Am I the only one? You don't
seem happy? And I don't know what can be very happy?
Why shouldn't I be happy? That's pretty good? You my
(08:33):
impersonation of what Brodie looks like what he signs on.
And so Brodie, because when you sign on, your phone
is directly looking at the light fixture on your ceiling,
and it's you below. And here's what it looks like.
Here's what we see when you sign on what we do.
(08:58):
It is always from below right, like like a click
the light. It's like it's a bad angle. So that's
to your question, why am I in a bad mood?
I can't imagine. I saved Brody a hundred and seventy
dollars yesterday the motor on his wife's neutral bullet went
(09:23):
out and I said, oh my god, I have a
neutral bullet r X with with like the premium version
with old I don't haven't used it in six minutes.
Come pick it up and take what? Hold on? Are
we talking about his wife? Is this a vibrator? What
are you talking about? It's a food processor? Do you
know the thing that makes smoothies? So I saved him, uney,
(09:45):
he should be in a great mood. And I saved
you money today. I bought you in a microphone, so
so depending and tunnel today. Wow, you're really saved. You
saved over in a day. This is fabulous news. Hey
(10:06):
he's frozen. Oh no, he's Oh he's just sitting there,
but he was frozen. I will ask you this, and
this question is to Brody and everyone on the show.
Are do you guys miss all of us being together?
I mean nothing the COVID thing. Think about it. For
just a moment. I missed you guys. Definitely the same room.
(10:29):
I was watching video of us on from an old
show the other day. We're all in the same room
just kind of laughing and you know, and having a
good time back when we could. And I was like, whoa,
look at the energy and that chemistry in that room.
So different than what I mean. And then and then
today happened. Some days I missed it in some days
(10:50):
not so much. How much time do we have left? Um?
Three and a half minutes? Why are you okay? Are
you showing telling us something? To Garrett? What is that?
I just wanted to bring something into the mix. I mean,
just to change it up. My kids bouncy toy. It's
(11:13):
blew this up the other day it's the purchase Amazon.
So Brody, back to the back to the uh the trophies?
Can you bring one forward and give us a story? Sure? Yes?
What's this? So? This is one of my baseball trophies.
(11:34):
I got it when I was a teenager for m
v P of the team Cool. What team was that?
It was my little league team? Did you have a name?
The Brooklyn Bomber, who was sponsored by a restaurant called
(11:54):
Captain Gales, which isn't around anymore. This is one of
my many bowling trophies. This was for first place from
my team. That's awesome. Yeah, I used to be quite
the athlete. It was a while ago. Scary, Why did
(12:15):
you laugh like that? That wasn't nice. I didn't. I
wouldn't crack categorize bowling as being athletics. Being athletic, let's scared.
Let's let's see your trophies and tell us about the
sports you play. If Scary had a trophy by Scary
had a trophy collection, what would it be? It would
(12:37):
be a mouth and food in it, golden donuts. I
played basketball with Scary, so we all show up to
this gym. Scary shows up in the in the gym
like shorts from like nineteen four with knee high socks,
and we're all wearing basketball shorts, and he shoots like this. Whatever.
(13:06):
I would love to see that. Do you have any
trophies at home? Straight night? Does your mom have any
of your trophies? I do have a second place for
soap opera acting from a talent competition. I went to
Elvis tell us about that one trophy you got. No, yes,
(13:29):
I do. I have a bunch upstairs, Like what, I
have a lot of theater stuff from when I was
a kid, and then I have a lot of radio.
We have a lot of radio stuff, um from years
what I did pajama party. We got a lot of stuff.
We want a bunch of stuff. Sheldon has a lot
of trophies and stuff too, from real estate. He wins
like he's got a freaking case full of trophies and
(13:50):
metals and all kinds of things. What about you, Gandhi?
Oh yeah, um mine, we're from soccer and track, some
senior superlatives step team. But I went home in February
and I tried to throw all of them away because
I was like, what do I want this for? I
have no need for a trophy from like high school? Right?
And my mom got so angry. She was like, how
(14:11):
dare you? That's a memory for me. She took him
out of the trash can and kept them. Oh my god,
there she dugged them out of the trash What about you, frog,
do you have any trophies? Yeah, I've got one trophy.
Her name is Lisa. I finally said something nice about her. Yeah,
(14:32):
and she couldn't hear it. Can we please, next time
we do a fifteen minute morning show podcast, let's do
something other than this. Yeah, that sounds great. What did
we do minute morning show
