Speaker 1 (00:00):
Our Yeah, we all got moners. Welcome to the day.
It is the most beautiful day. We thought we would
trip up with some songs about music, I mean sunshine,
music about sunshine. So we're gonna do a Tuesday two
for songs that were born on Z one hundred years ago.

(00:21):
But before we do that, what's our official forecast today?
Bright sunshine going up to sixty five degrees Right now,
it's fifty at one. All right, it's time for our
Tuesday to for two songs about sunshine. Song number one
is smash Mouth. What did your boyfriend just say about
smash Mouth? Condy, Oh my god? Yesterday he said, I

(00:41):
hate to admit it about a smash Mouth is dope band.
I was like, what song number one sunshine to you? One?
Haines would say, wow stuff, and the lawyers, Hey, y'all know,

that Tuesday to first. Do you We told this idea
from Q and O four three, but we don't do
thematic two day two first, they just do like two
songs from the same artists we were themes Today Sunshine

(02:54):

(04:19):

(04:56):
on my There you go. Two songs about sunshine? What's

(05:37):
over like tomorrow? Gary, let's plan ahead for our Wednesday?
Two for you don't want to hear about tomorrow's weather cloudy? Really?
Is it gonna stuck that much? Cloudy with a chance
of rain? Sorry? All right, all right, well we'll get there.
When we get there, we'll be Saturday and Sunday where
we're gonna hit seventy degrees. I'm ready, Okay, let's hurt

(05:57):
you and get there. Let's go talk to Chris an
e Mt and Queen's has good news for everyone. We
could use some good news from you. Chris. What do
you have from the front lines? Oh? First of all,
I gotta say good morning to you guys. I listen
to you guys every morning on my way home, and
this morning, you guys, I kind of listen to you
guys for a while now, and I kind of feel
like I fit into your dysfunctional family altogether. So I

(06:19):
had to say good morning. Listen, dysfunctional family is a
good thing. Everybody's got their little tweets. My point of
my phone call to you guys was it's hard for
everybody to see the light at the end of the tunnel, Okay,
and the front line workers, we're starting to see it.
There's less calls, there's less people that are critical with this.

(06:41):
So the social distancing, the wearing the mask when you're
when you're out, if you have to go out, that's working.
So we need to stay positive about it. We need
to keep doing those things like today, today is a
beautiful day out as long as your social distance and
you put a mask on, get out of the house,
get out of the apartment, go for a walk, stay positive,

(07:02):
but enjoy the good things in life. Because you don't,
we don't get to see that, and we're starting to
walk away from not being able to see that. We
can start to see the light. So if everybody keeps
doing their part, we're gonna get to where we need
to be and we're never gonna go back. I don't
want to say never. I don't think it's gonna We're
gonna go back to the way we used to be
for quite a while. But there will be socially again,

(07:26):
we'll feel like human beings again. But it's all working.
I like that, you know, and coming from you, I mean,
you have the perspective. We don't have that. We're just
sitting in a room and you know, tell fart jokes
and play songs about sunshine. That's really what we did today.
But what you see, you're seeing well, and I appreciate that.
But you're seeing what we need to hear about it,
and you just shared that with us. Look, by no

(07:48):
means is Chris saying go out there and start licking
each other's faces and sneezing on each other. And no,
that's not what he's saying. He's saying that what we
have been doing, the sacrifices that everyone's been making, is
starting to pay off. They see a light, but it's
at the end of the tunnel. It's not right in
front of you, right. I mean, we see good things
coming if we just continue right exactly. It's gonna take time.

(08:08):
And like I said, it's a beautiful day out. I
just got home from work. I'm gonna take my kids
out into the backyard and I'm gonna go hang out
in the backyard. It's a beautiful day out. There's no
reason to be boarded up in the house like that.
You know, enjoy this messtions in life. I'm watching my
kids grow up. Do you and your family or ever
order delivery from Seamless, No, we don't. If ever you

(08:28):
want to, I want to make it possible for you. Seamless.
By the way, all the restaurants that are open right
now in your in your hood, they will deliver. They
do contactless delivery. I'm gonna give you a one hundred
dollars Seamless gift card and you can buy whenever you
want to use it or you want to give it
to a friend. Seamless is just a lifesaver, and they
will bring food to your house without touching you or

(08:50):
you know, making a problem happen. They offer these ten
dollars off dinners every night. They have contact free delivery.
Here's a hundred dollars to spend with seamless just for you, Chris,
because we appreciate every you're doing. Everything you're doing, man,
thank you Alvison to the rest of you, thank you
very much. That means a lot. And stay safe and
thank you for that very very very uplifting call. That's

(09:10):
really I think that was the call of the day.
I think we just got the best call of to
day from you, Chris. Thank you, thank you. We appreciate it.
I'm glad I made everybody's day a little bit brighter
and full of sunshine. You are full of sunshine. I
hold on, Chris. Thank you for checking in and you
enjoy the rest of your day with your family. Yeah,
go out in the backyard and play with the kids.
I don't even have kids. I wish I could like

(09:31):
a kids to play with kids. I need some vitamin D. Yeah,
that's the sun. Pretty sure, all this is getting plenty
of that. What's that supposed to mean? Froggy? All right?

(09:52):
Anything here? You know what, after a conversation earlier, you
can give yourself bottom indeed, and we don't have to
even it's true. The three things we need to know
from Gandhi gand what's going on? Hello? Alright? Governor Cuomo
announced that the June twenty three Democratic presidential primary is
now canceled by the New York Board of Elections for

(10:13):
the first time ever. The Board of Elections felt that
with Joe Biden as the presumptive winner of the Democratic primary,
it would just be unnecessary and kind of frivolous to
do that. New York still holds the congressional and state
level primary, so those will go on. Cuomo went on
to say that reopening the state will be a gradual process,
and we need to be careful of events that could
draw people from other regions, and that sports might just

(10:33):
have to reimagine their business model altogether, which would include
doing things like playing without fans in the stands. Subway
ridership is now, interestingly enough growing as well. It was
down by about nine during the pandemic, but over the
past week it's gone up nearly twenty pc. A lot
of people think that since we seem to be past
the plateau, people think it's their time to go back out,

(10:55):
and that's not just the case quite yet. We would
like everybody to stay home still is much as you can,
but subway ridership apparently up almost. And finally, if you
look up the sky today about noon, you're going to
see the Navy's Blue Angels and the Thunderbirds from here
Force do a coordinated flyover. They're doing this to honor
all of our frontline workers who are still out there

(11:15):
fighting for us and taking care of everything while we're
at home. So again, noon today, that flyover is going
to be happening. And those are your three things. Yeah,
it's good that you remember that so you don't freak
out when you see these planes like flying over, like, whoa,
what's going on up there? So perfect? This is the
Z one hundred Bonus Hour. We'd love to hear from
you if you want to call straight and eight. He

(11:36):
is taking your calls. He just did a shot of
bourbon or something, so he's ready for you. He's all
looped up. Call him now at one eight hundred two
two zero, one hundred will be back. Yeah, we have
a property. Yes we will deal with it. Yes we
will overcome it, but let's find out better selves in

(11:57):
doing it. Now, keeping more of Elvis Duran and the show.
Here's Elvis see one hundred. The Bonus Hour is on
not even halfway through. But we've come up with a
genius idea. So think about all the things that have
become sort of superstars. Things and people who have become

(12:21):
superstars during these very very dark days. For instance, like
the teachers, but things to Banana Bread has become a
superstar all of a sudden, and Tiger King became a
superstar because of the pandemic. Are you with me? So?

(12:42):
I think tomorrow I want to have an awards program
for all the things that, all of a sudden are
more important than ever before. What what do you want
to call it? Gandhi? I would like to go with
the pandemics, the pandemics, Well, it takes off, you can

(13:02):
go ahead, and if it really takes off, there can
be a daytime pandemics. Yeah, of course you're in the morning.
Pandemic's scary. Do you have any like music for award shows?
This Rody wants to call it the quarantine Ease. Let's
say that's a drink. What is the award in the
shape of It's got to be in the shape of something.

(13:25):
It has to be that that really beautiful looking, viral
looking thing. It's all that thing is actually very very
too pretty yeah, that germ. It looks too good. I
mean it's really evil. And welcome to the Pandemi. And
we'll have different categories like most baked food, most of

(13:49):
the most consumed food, for the shows we loved, and
of course, more importantly, we'll have to get to the
most important stuff. And the people who have stepped up
and made such a huge difference, we cannot do it
without them. We're still we're alive because of them. The
best video conferencing software, the Pandemics. Okay, so we'll have

(14:13):
the Pandemics tomorrow, So start thinking if you want to
text us anything in any category products you're using, like
you know, you know, toilet paper is gonna have to
get some sort of some sort of awards. I don't
know what. I don't know, so think about it the
Pandemics tomorrow, handwipe, sand hand soap, I don't know. Okay,

(14:34):
thanks face masks, Oh my god, hello gentlemen. Yeah, there's
lots of stuff. Hey did you hear the the f
d n Y sound? We we played the earlier with Garrett, right, scary,
you have that ready to go? Okay, scary? Who who

(15:02):
is it playing that? It's it's the f d N
Live New York's bravest. They they're playing the national anthem
on guitar. Oh that's cool. Okay, do you know who
played it? Okay, Ladder fifteen. That is a Louis de
Rosa and Ladder fifteen. Wow, how cool? Hey, you know what,

(15:26):
I love the fact and this is you know, this
is so so refreshing to hear. You know, typically some
people are just so like it's the headline of the moment,
then they just don't do it anymore, don't pay attention
to anymore. And so you know, going out every night
or every morning and actually standing up and clapping for
all the front line healthcare workers. And you know what

(15:48):
I thought, you know, knowing this crowd that's gonna it's
gonna fade a little bit after a while. It's not.
It sounds like people are still doing it. And I
love hearing that. I love that because we are so
you know, we're so short attention space, and you know,
I hate that about us. But anyway, that is cool.
It is cool. Hey, uh, Danielle, Yes, let's get in
early to the daniel Report. Let's see what you got

(16:10):
on with myself? Well, are you not prepared? I don't think.
I don't blame you. I just kinda throw your curveball.
Sorry about that, all right. So celebrities are doing, of course,
lots of things that we've been following at home. Like
we said, you know, this could be part of our
awards tomorrow. Which celebrity the best at home chocolate? I

(16:31):
would say selmahi Ak she made at home chocolate on Easter.
It looks fabulous. Uh, they have, you know, they were
telling us what to watch. Some of us are giving
us meditation to do, some of us are giving cooking lessons. Um,
just lots of little things. So if you're bored and
you have nothing to do, when you really, you know,
are interested in like checking out some new stuff, maybe
you want to just kind of like find out what
your favorite celebrity has been up to the last couple

(16:53):
of days. Um. So May fifteen, twelve, neon Eastern, they're
doing an online I'm still graduating event. It's a virtual graduation.
I'm sure these are gonna be popping up all over
the place, but this is the first one I've been
reading about. Eva Longoria, Jamie King, Jessie McCartney. There's gonna
be a lot more people performing and they're gonna have
graduates actually making speeches. You can actually apply if you're

(17:16):
a graduate to be part of the celebration, to make
a speech and to get involved. So we all know
The Rock has cheap meals the days where he just
goes crazy and goes off of his diet. Right. So
there's this guy called Matt does fitness on YouTube and
he tried out all of the Rock cheat meals in
one day. So he ate a dozen pancakes in the

(17:37):
morning and then he needed to nap because that's a
lot of hair cakes. Oh my gosh. But he did
petroma yeah, right, he went to the sushi bar because
The Rock the sushi Sundays. Sometimes you have to check
this guy out and see what he ate that day.
It's just incredible, though it's insane. Um. There's an eight
year old YouTuber in Spain who broke quarantine rules. So

(18:02):
in Spain right now, you cannot leave unless you need
to get some food or you need medication or go
to work or something like that. You can't just go
walking around the streets. You're not allowed to. So she
went around filming the empty streets. So the neighbors are
asking her to be arrested. She's eight years old. They're
asking her and her family to get in a lot
of trouble because she broke quarantine and they said, rules

(18:24):
are rules. See what happens, um, Johnny Depp and Amber
heard call from their fight in two thousand sixteen is
out and both of them are claiming that it's going
to help them in court. Johnny says, no, no, no, no,
what you hear? That's gonna help my side? And Amber says, oh, no,
that helps my side. So I guess it depends on
what the judge thinks. And you know, yeah, yes they

(18:48):
still together. Were they still together when they were calling
nine one one on each other? Or was Johnny visiting her?
I don't even know. I don't remember so long. Make
a suggestion, if you're in a relationship where one of
you has to call nine one one on the other one,
you probably know you definitely shouldn't be in that relationship.
Can we just end it now? I mean really, it's like,

(19:10):
really kind celebrities are doing what's Scary likes to do,
you know, offering their services um to people who will pay,
you know, Scary does the cameo service. He's like, hey,
I'm Scary Jones. I'll make your recording if you want
to pay me. So a lot of celebrities are being
asked to do it for free, and Zoom shack David Spade,

(19:31):
So now they're looking into maybe making a new service
with Zoom other than cameo that they can go ahead
and just pop into your meetings and get paid to
do it. That would be pretty cool, right. And there's
a twenty four hour live stream happening on Friday. It's
called The Cult to Unite Oprah, Julia Robertson for Garner,
Quincy Jones, George W. Bush. Over two hundred global leaders

(19:54):
are going to participate in this. It's eight pm, Unite
dot US, It's Facebook, YouTube, all kinds of other places.
They're gonna basically share their practices and how they're getting
through the moments. Uh. And they're just going to be
sharing with you positive things, negative things, just everything they're feeling,
everything they're going and maybe you'll find something that you

(20:15):
can take away from this if you pop in and
pop out. I mean, like I said, it's going to
be going on for twenty four hours starting on Friday,
and on television Outer Banks coronavirus explained too hot to handle. Wakeo.
There's a lot of things people are watching on Netflix, Netflix, Blackish,
Ellen's Game of Games as a special, The mess Singer
on tonight, and uh, if you are a Disney Plus subscriber,

(20:38):
you will be happy to know that you're going to
get the Rise of Skywalker two months earlier than expected.
May Force is when it will be coming out. And
that is my Danielle report and I loved it, Danielle.
So here's something I was talking with Gandhi about a
few moments ago, at the very beginning of this, where
we all knew we had to lock ourselves in the house,
find something to do to stay out of the way

(20:58):
of people who are out are saving lives and stay
out of the way as far as not infecting other people.
Were learning as we go, right, We started doing things
like ordering jigsaw puzzles and and alex I ordered these,
uh the tidy kits and stuff like that. Well that
was like a month ago, and that thing arrived. We
finally got to it the other night, did or it

(21:20):
if you like in a position where you were like, okay,
we need a plan ahead and have activities ready to go.
So we won't get bored and we'll just stay busy
and stay doing things. And then you ended up doing
nothing and your jigsaw puzzles are still sealed. I mean,
I've done but you came in with good intentions, right, Gandhi,
And like what happened? Acent I was about to go

(21:41):
through this quarantine and come out be the best version
of me you've ever seen. I was like, I'm gonna
get in shape, I'm gonna learn a different language. I'm
gonna be like a renaissance person. There'll be so much
art it would be crazy. I have done a lot
of sleeping and a lot of eating, and that's probably it.
I really haven't gotten around to any of this stuff
that I said I was going to do so much
of I don't know it's wrong with me. Well here's

(22:01):
the thing. You know, we were talking about this the
other day where you know, we have all this time
and we're not using it wisely because eventually we're gonna
be back out in the in the open again. We're
eventually we're gonna have to get back to work and
we're not gonna have this time anymore. And are we
are we gonna regret like not putting that jigsaw puzzle together?
Are you gonna regret not not getting into shape? Or

(22:23):
you know whatever it is? So, what do you guys
have stacked up? Like Froggy, what do you guys have
stacked up? You wanted to get done? Like learning a language?
I did one day of Italy of Italians to try
to brush up on my Italian done. I made a
list of things I wanted to get done around the house. Oh,
that list still exists, it's laying on the kitchen counter.
What's on it? Like? Like, what things do you want
to get done around the house? I need to I

(22:45):
need to replace the bull by the front door. That
the light above the front door. You gotta get a
ladder out and do and clean the bugs off I got.
I don't have time to do that right now. The ladder,
the ladder, I just can't do it. I don't go time.
We have a bug sapper that I need to put
up out back, because when we sit out back, the
mesquite has come around. I'm STI supposed to put a
bug sapro, but you gotta get a ladder and plug
that in. I don't need to do that either, So
I don't want to mess. There was like all of

(23:07):
your all of your problems involve around a lack of
a ladder. I don't I don't have time for that.
When I get time, I'll do it right now. I'm busy.
You have right right now, You've got nothing but time.
You know what you do? Do? You know what we
all do. We We take all of our time planning
our next meal, because I know I do. I'm so
excited about it. I'm fifteen meals ahead. What about you,

(23:29):
straight Nate? What do you? What are you in Heather
getting done? Is there something on your list you haven't
done yet? We finally did it. We waited forever. We
had this arrow garden. I don't know if anybody's ever
seen this, but you basically is that these seeds in
water in this tank of water, and it circulates the
water and these plants grow in the water. So it's
kind of like hydroponics, I guess it would be. And
you guys are growing. We know it's not weed. So

(23:52):
my thinking was, Hey, we're gonna need fruits and vegetables
when all of this pandemic stuff starts hitting, so we
should grow our own. Well, thet this is finally starting
to sprout, and I gotta tell you, it's probably not
even enough to garnish a plate with. But it was fun.
It was fun. But we we sat there for like
a month, like we should plan him today. You know,
he's really should because we're gonna need this food to grow.

(24:14):
And we finally did it, I think last weekend. So yeah,
so it's not even enough for a salad, even if
it's not even enough for like a Barbie salad, but
play costs like exactly exactly, But we finally did it.
You had we started it in the pandemic, we might
have lettuce now. But you know, and I know what, Gandhi.

(24:35):
You were talking to producer Sam. She's starting to make
dinner at what time? Yes, she told me today she
was going to start making dinner at seven And I said,
am or p M. What the hell are you talking about?
She said, am, because then it gives her purpose for
the day of something to do, and she's going to
make sure it's a great meal. She's making baked egg
baked egg plant parmesan. Oh nice. But she's starting dinner

(24:57):
at seven in the morning, like scary. I bought a
side table from my outdoor area about six months ago
from Ikea, and it said some assembly required, so it
sat there in the box in my hallway forever. I
finally got a chance to put it together with an
Allen wrench, and my fingers hurt at the end. Man,

(25:17):
I need cool, I need tools. But how's the table
looking holding up? Okay? Man, it's kind of wobbly, but
it's there. At least I made it. It's so, you know,
I ordered, I started ordering books and I ordered some
other things, and then you know, I had a stash
in the other room. And then Alexis looks at me
and says, so I just cleaned up the other room

(25:37):
and I found your stash. I'm like, well, you know,
I mean, you know me trying to deflect. Well, speaking
of stash, why don't you go shave that ugly thing
off your face? And it didn't really help the conversation.
But we have these puzzles. Our friends sent us these
great like Day of the Dead puzzles, and we haven't
even open that. We've got to get this started. Leah On,
I think she's a puzzler. Are you doing puzzles too?

(25:59):
I mean even started one. Okay, So I got a
puzzle at the very beginning. So what are we talking
about before the fifteenth of March? Before um, everything really
got very very scary here in New York. Um. And
I finally took it out only a three piece puzzle

(26:21):
because it has so swallow um. And I finally took
it out last weekend and I finished it yesterday. Oh
this is good, so so good intentions can pay off
eventually if you just pick it up and do it.
It's not. Yeah. I opened up the box finally, and

(26:43):
then I walked away from it for two days, and
then I went back to it, and then I was like,
all right, let's do this. I got a question for you.
After you go through all that to put together? How
many pieces? You said? Four pieces? Three something? Okay, that's
that's a lot. After wating together a three hundred piece puzzle,
what do you do with it? After that? I mean,

(27:04):
where does it? Where do puzzles go? Well, that's the thing. Now,
it's just like living on my you know, small little
table in my living room. And I'm like, okay, it's
pretty now what do I do with it? So I
think I'm going to put it in the box and
just head over to my aunt drop it on her doorstep,
because you know it's like the run. You can use

(27:27):
it as a coaster. I don't know our friend Dianna
who works here in the morning show. She says she
glues them and she frames them because their pieces of art.
I get that. What I mean, don't come on, what's
wrong with that? I like an old lady thing to
glue your puzzle. If you want to frame it or something,
how are you going to keep it flowing? It? Really

(27:47):
is you like painted? You paint it with like a ceiling.
It is a very old lady thing to do. Well.
Deanna says her it was a fifteen hundred piece puzzle.
I mean that's that's an investment of time undred yea
together piece of art? How big of a what do
you need for a puzzle? I mean, leave her alone.
I mean puzzles in general are kind of ridiculous. I'm sorry,

(28:10):
I gotta go into like think about it. It takes
up the entire table. It's frustrating as all hell. You
can't do anything while they's on the table because you're
you're gonna mix up the pieces and lose the blue
ones that go why are you yucking? Are yum? You're yunking,
