Speaker 1 (00:02):
What would you talk about on your on your podcast
phone represents show? All right, I have an announcement to
make us. We start the fifteen minute morning show podcast.
I am pregnant. I have another announcement. So sitting around
the table is Gandhi and Brody and Uh, there's Garrett

(00:28):
and they're scary and Danielle and there's a Nate and me.
We may have to leave for a meeting. So keep
in mind some of you are going to be staying
behind to continue the podcast. What is that dependent on
what will be left? You know, if they show up soon,
we're going to the meeting. Understandable, okay, But so until then,
you have us. What do you want? What do you need?

(00:50):
What do you want from us? Late? And I are
here for now? What do you need? I like Danielle
to explain all the craps she has in that makeup bag.
All the crap, everything has a purpose. Let's go through
Niels makeup. Her other bag just fell over and that's
a whole another story. My bag with my computer and stuff. Okay, well,
let's go through the makeup bag. What's wrong with the
What's I don't know? I could tell you what everything

(01:12):
does I only wear one one article of makeup. Okay,
that's bronze bronzes, Okay, not today. But you have okay,
what do you have in there? So this is a
eyeshadow palette Okay, I not only use it for eyeshadow,
but I also use it for eyeliner because I only
use eyeshadow for eyeliner because I have a little allergy

(01:32):
thing with certain things on my eyes. You don't use green, yes,
I do. I've used it as by the way, no offense, Daniel, Daniel.
There's like forty five other things in there, and it's
gonna take this much time on every product. But I
have base makeups in there, like it's depending on how
much coverage. I want a lot of under eye con
ceiling stuff under eye um uh, you know moisturizer. I

(01:55):
have Miscara. Do you use all of these every day? No?
Not every day? I drops. But this is the basics.
This is like my basic bag, A couple of different
lip colors and depending on my mood, brushes for a
lot of brushes. This is this is very good. This
is secret secret under eye powder. Give me that now
from put your finger in it? Though, how do here?

(02:18):
I'll give you my brush. Well, I'm about to go
workout anywhere. So what's what's your questions? Okay, so what
is the difference and what is the order of operations
for concealer, foundation and all this other? So you do
foundation first? What is that supposed to be? Foundation first?

(02:39):
But the primer goes before the founding because the primer
kind of adheres the foundation to your skin. To you,
it's not really foundation. Yeah, then foundation. Then I do
a little um, it's not an under eye concealer. It's
more of a I know, it's like a yellowish orange
e thing to kind of like get the Then you
put the braker. Yeah right now, Daniel, Daniel, Okay, can

(03:02):
we just stop this. You look beautiful every day? It
really don't appreciate Daniel. You look beautiful every day? Is
it because of this bag filled with these things? No,
I don't use everything. Every day depends on what's going on.
Like yesterday, when I was at the hospital, I looked
in the mirror at the hospital, I'm like, oh my gosh,
this is not good. No offense. She probably looked like
a little better than everyone else in the hospital. So gandhi,

(03:24):
does she need all this stuff? Okay? I'm the worst
person to talk to about this because I don't wear
any makeup on my face and my go to is
usually like chapstick and mascara, And I like, okay, now, Daniel,
does that make you jealous that she can go through
life and only needs chaps? Yes, But to be honest,
on the weekends, if I'm not doing anything, I will
throw a m scara and a lip gloss and I'm

(03:44):
I'm good to go. And I'm not saying that's all
I need. I need a lot more that I'm willing
to put shake the bag and then drop it on
the counter. Oka it is actually not that bad. Is
not that bad. I've seen people with like bat beats.
This is stuff. When I was a little kid, I
remember I would walk in. My mother had a special

(04:05):
table she sat down on with lights everywhere, and she
went through this ritual every morning, and she would do
it up, and she'd do her hair, and sometimes she'd
have someone come over and do her hair. Sometimes you'd
have someone come to her makeup, depending on what she
was doing. But but it was a ritual for my mom.
I mean, it was something I think she enjoyed doing.

(04:26):
I think a lot of people like it, and they
like the transformation because you can look like a completely
different human at the end of it, which is why
I don't do it, because I feel like I'm just
cat fishing people in real life's face breast reduction surgery
to make her boobs smaller because she had back problems.
I think of back problems from kind of that sack
of makeup around. You could have kept your boobs. Let
me ask you, guys, let's let's talk about rituals. I

(04:48):
know that if we have a great function we're going
to and involved getting dressed up, I will we will
mix cocktails, and we'll turn music on and will slowly
get ready, and we will do as many things as
possible that a guy can do to get ready, you know,
And and it's fun. I enjoy it. We'll have a
martini and we'll slowly just kind of get ready, and

(05:09):
it's not like a ritual. Am I the only one
who does that as a guy. As a guy, I
have a playlist it's called my getting ready playlist, and
I and I put it on and it's like awesome music,
like j los on there. It's all stuff that makes
me feel good while I'm getting ready to go out.
That was one of my favorite things when I was single.
All my guy friends, we would go over to somebody's apartment.

(05:30):
We would put on music videos and it was typically
like nineties and two thousands, hip hop and wrap and
you know, you just start drinking. You're getting ready, and
I think we would end with like a Michael Jackson
like Dirty Diana or something. I mean, you're getting ready?
What did you do to get ready? No, we would
just we would, you know, put on our you know,
because you don't go over to somebody's house fully ready

(05:51):
to go, So you bring your shirt, you do your
hair there do yeah? I did? Okay, feel like sort
of a pregame pre game. Yeah, you gotta get ready
some roady what kind of rich What do you have
before you put on your old navy shirt? Yeah? Well
I looked to see which of my blue plaid shirts
I want, Okay, and I figure out which blue plaid
shirt I didn't wear the week before. Right? Do you

(06:13):
mix up a toddy? Yeah? I will maybe pour myself
a glass of a diet soda. Okay, ice no ice,
maybe put on sports on the radio to kill time
in the background. Do you have a ritual. Then it's
about it. Come on, Garrett. My ritual like if I
put a playlist together, if you one song, because my
wife takes up most of the time. So it's like

(06:34):
I can get ready and probably two minutes no matter
what function I'm going to, two minutes in and out.
I went to a wedding over the weekend. I was
ready in under ten minutes, her about ten about an
hour and change because the hair, makeup, dressed, all that stuff.
So I get ready quickly and then it's xbox, uh,

(06:55):
beer or vodka whatever, and then I just wait and
twitter that ritual. You have, your ritual you have, but
I don't do it like you guys where you're you're
actually enjoying getting ready together because if I I'm just
waiting around right waiting, but your ritual is to wait,
you and ate sound like a movie montage before the
big date. Like they'd be like a like a montage
if you like, and they're drinking and your hand goes

(07:17):
to the record player and you're putting it just it
sounds like like a whole production. What I'm saying is
why go out? It sounds like what fun we'll see?
I think an evening should be at the beginning. And
you know, when you take your shower to get ready
to go, and you you select your clothing, and then
it's a part of getting into the mode, getting into
the mood. You know, come on, scary. Don't you have
a ritual? I really don't. I just you know, I'll

(07:38):
just jump into the shower. I make sure I have
some music playing in the bathroom, because that makes you
feel good. Your music in the bathrooms, that's that's it's
it sets the move. Music in the bathroom is important.
I have. It's with the last radio that I have,
and I just put it on one D and I'm
or whatever is going on, and I'm happy, and then

(07:59):
his endorsements is getting ready. Yeah. Also, I also I
lower the lights the half I have. We dim the lines.
When I take a shower and I'm getting dressed, I
just want dim lights. And it's because my entire life
I only had lights to go on off, on off,

(08:21):
And now in this apartment, I went, I would the upgrade,
So now my lights have dinners. And I'm like, yeah,
we call it. We call it riding the lootrock. It's
a good thing. He doesn't have a ritual. By the way,
have touched? Okay, when I have to go to a meeting,
Why that's the next thing he's going to say, touches?

(08:43):
I touched myself. We're going to this meeting. Uh, Nate
and I are leaving. But the music NAVI is up,
so you'll hear the music come on automatically. I think
we set you up with this nice ritual conversation. It
is a funny visual of Nate and his friends getting
ready well, listening to d MX. You guys moves each other. Yeah,
h no, we would share a product though, Like the

(09:08):
TV show. Remember Jersey Short and Ate, they used to
wear the shirt give your friends pal made. Remember remember
t shirt time yea when they had the shirt. Before
the shirt it's tank top time. So you guys, you
have tank top time. Yeah, because I get ready in
the tank top, to my hair makeup in the tank top,
and then I put on the actual outfit that I'm
gonna go out in. Because sometimes you don't want to wrinkle.

(09:29):
I want your gees to be a little tight makeup
on it, now that I think about it. Sometimes I
throw myself right back on my bed for and just
meditate for a few minutes before I get dressed. You,
who doesn't have a ritual, has more of a ritual
than any of us. Also, I think it's very important
that people touch themselves before they go out scary. I

(09:50):
know you say you you laid back down to meditate.
What you really mean is you're out of breath from
getting dressed, so you need to rest. I just relax. Yeah,
I'm when did I put pants on? By the way,
no one got my palmaide joke? You say the city
shares products with his friends, like you have to give
a little palm aid. I just didn't want to give
you the satisfaction. Brodie, I told you I only understand
funny jokes, and I struggle with you. Here's one. You're talented.

(10:12):
He's very funny. Yes, thank you, Daniel's brody unleashed. Yeah,
I mean, I have to say I am enjoying because
when I mean, it's unfortunate that I have to go
to the hospital every day, but my ride from here
is an hour. And I have been listening to all
of our podcasts, and I have been enjoying all of
the podcasts. Some good support, and I'm so caught up
on everything, and I crack up laughing at things. You

(10:34):
genuinely vouch for the Brooklyn Boys podcast and say that
it's a podcast that everybody shows it's amazing, always does
podcast and uh, serial killers, serial colors, garrets with Rob Shoe, celebrity,
back to the what about walkers and talking? You know
you don't have to Jamie and I just were known
for snappy banter, are you. Yeah? But you know a
lot of people back to the Boys. You know a

(10:54):
lot of people are afraid to check us out, like
harried that people like, oh no, I don't want I
don't like them, those guys that they annoy me. They
you don't know, you're a lot. But it's a fun argument.
You gotta admit you have a different perspective of who
I am, who Brody is on the Book Boys podcasts.
An it's not this last podcast you guys were arguing

(11:15):
about metal bands, hair bands, stuff like that. That was
just part of it. What else are you talking about? Pepper? Scary?
Every of pepper tastes the same scary is so wrong
that I was yelling at the radio because yellow peppers
and orange peppers are so much sweeter than a red
pepper or or a green Pepper. So everybody should try
listening to the Brooklyn Boys podcast. Would you? I would,
and we're trying to try to get us in the

(11:38):
top ten. Garrett serial Killers is awesome. It's great. It's
so funny to hear it. I Andrew and Scotty fighting
is his star. There are two of the funniest people
I know. Those two crack me up in such an
inappropriate way. Like most of the stuff that they say
and do that makes me laugh. We'll never be able

(11:59):
to sell one d m me and said that Andrew
is me and Scotty b is brody. Yeah no, there's
nothing like you. No, no, no no. As far as
the roles on the show, I explained to Scotty that
listening to Serial Killers was like, uh, someone trying to
push a big boulder up a hill. That's Scotty. Scotty
trying to drag Andrew into the world of cereal and

(12:21):
getting him to like because Andrews like, I don't know
anything about cereal. I just eat it, and and you know,
Scotty studies cereal. Oh yeah, so much about do you guys?
Just wait for my podcast. It's gonna be question Gandhi
works harder on her podcast than all of us combined.
She's in there every like two or three times a week,
sometimes podcasting tomorrow. In the laboratory episodes, I haven't heard

(12:45):
one word come out of it. Where is this? She's
not stupid. There's so much crap where no one makes
any money on broadcast, and she's like, why am I
going to do nothing? How many? How many episodes do
you have in the in? Do you have? Four? Team?
Full edited produced podcast? And they're hilarious. The podcast called
What's wrong with Us? What's wrong with Us? Don't put

(13:08):
your podcast? Where can we find it? Keep going? No,
don't don't release it after this when when this show
is done and we're all gone, or if you die,
then you release it, then I release it. Fun thing
about this podcast is it's really gone through like the
time that I've been here. So it starts off and
I'm kind of talking to Mr six one seven, and
then that's gone, and then Brandon who is my boyfriend.

(13:29):
Now there's a lot of transition in there, there's a
lot of history. But until I make some money off
of it, that thing's just gonna sit there money. During
the Brooklyn Boys, there's a commercial that comes on for
this workout system. It's like a new that's not not
a workout. Can you get scared so much talking about it? Is?
There are commercials that we don't have anything to do with.

(13:49):
It takes over all of your gym equipment at your house.
That's not scary, that's not called you please get me
a discount on that. Okay, So, not to bore people,
but scaring. I do commercials in the podcast, endorsements, but
then there are ones that get automatically stuck in there.
We have nothing to do with those. We don't even hear,
and they change every few days. We don't know what
they are. Yeah, we don't know. We don't know. I mean,

(14:11):
for all we know, this isn't happening to my podcast.
Absolutely no. They put in vaping uh commercials in it.
By the way, speaking of the Brooklyn Boys on on
on an episode in the near future, Garrett may make
a cameo, might he Yeah, we're trying to work him
into come sitting hang out. By the way, We've been
asking Elvius to be part of it since we were
going to promote his book, and he doesn't want to

(14:32):
be on our Brooks podcast. And the serial Killers wanted Grett.
Garrett wants to be on that podcast, but because he's
gluten free. Yeah, you gave them some serial last time,
and it's tastes like she was disgusting. He ordered some
mail ordered serial. Still that morning show off
