Speaker 1 (00:03):
For what would you talk about on your on your podcast,
Elvis Presents fifteen Minute Morning Show. All right, welcome to
the fifteen Minute Morning Show. I'm gonna do a little
something different today. What it is, Garrett Now the morning Show.

(00:23):
We're getting ready to broadcast live Puerto Rico tomorrow morning. Creebank.
He'll make sure you're listening. It's gonna be a lot
of fun. Be your Rex is gonna be there. But
if you're listening to this, we're getting ready to head
on out get to a plane and everyone has run
out the door and I get again, am like Kevin

(00:43):
from home alone. Uh, they forgot me. I gotta run
to the airport and hopefully I make my flight and
hopefully I make it to Puerto Rico in time. But
what I want to do is some of the difference.
So you're used to the team in the Morning Show.
But you know, we have a ton of other great
podcasts on the Elves Durand network. So if you wouldn't mind,

(01:06):
I want to introduce you to another podcast I'm a
part of. It's called Celebrity Buzz with our friend Rob Shooter.
He's a gossip columnist for Naughty Gossip dot com, he's
all over TV, he's British. Uh So, each and every
week Rob and I sit down and we talk about
some of the biggest entertainment stories going around and some
stuff that you might not know of just yet, but

(01:27):
you will in weeks time. But Rob knows before anyone else.
So without further ado, we appreciate you listening. Don't forget
tomorrow morning listening. Elvis in Puerto Rico live a lot
of fun. I'm sure many of drinks, but thank you
as always for listening. So without further ado, I give
you celebrity buzz with myself and Rob Shooter. Well, he

(01:49):
is fresh off the plane from London on baby watch.
Rob Shooter back in the States state side. As they said,
she had the it is Garrett along with So let's
get your baby Royal baby coverage out of the way,
because that's that's what has pulled you away from us
hanging out for babies baby space. So the Royal babies here.

(02:11):
Little Archie, very unusual name, people do. I think it's
really cute. I think it's a really smart name. I
think it's her way of doing her own things. And
officially Archie and arch was actually Archie. I was reading.
I got quite deep into this. I spoke to Archie.
Bologists that is the real name. There's a proper name
for some that researches names. I don't know what it is,

(02:34):
but I spoke to somebody who was very very smart
about names and surnames and last names and first names,
and they said, it's a new trend now that people
are christening or naming, are giving the names to their
kids that we would consider nickname. So, for instance, my
name is Robert, but most people call me Robber, Robbie,
you Bob, A few people do. I like it a

(02:54):
darity short for ARCHI isn't it is? They're a short
version of Garante. Not really bad. But people people call
me Gary Garry, but that's not really sure. So now
people really not using long names. And officially his name
is Archie. It's not Archibald. We don't really know why.
Some suspicions. I think she had a cat which was

(03:15):
little called Archie. There's some rumors that Prince George likes
to call himself Archie, and I know, and then Harrison.
That's a lovely name. Also, I think what's really more
interesting than the name is they chose not to give
him a royal title, so they went The Queen offered,
it does suck you grow up and you're like, oh,

(03:35):
I'm a royal, but I don't have a title. I
would if I would want. I think I would want
the title. And I think it's it's a very big
decision for them to make on his behalf fifty and
I'd be like, mom, I gotta be Prince Archie. I'm
just Archie. You know, he'll always have an exceptional special life.
So I don't think he actually needs a title, but

(03:55):
he's not going to have one. So so rub or
Bobby or or Sir Bob. So after after this royal
baby is now born, what do US Americans have to
look forward to in the royal world. Well, they're gonna
make a trip, so they will come here to visit.
So we're got to get to see a little. But like,
what's the next big mind, I think she's having another

(04:17):
baby already. Let's talk that. She said, like to she's
thirty seven. That's what they say, like, you know, they
say a woman is most fertile after she has given
birth at that end. So and that's where the term
Irish twins have come about. So if you see anybody
close in age, like within like eight nine months, you're
more fertile after right after your pregnancy and you don't

(04:38):
think so, but you are hormones racing and things are
are jumping and dropping down and so h I know
a lot of people that are listening to yes, but
they're they're also two and a half years apart. So
I waited to have sex um. But if there's a
baby anywhere between eight to twelve months, it is Irish

(05:00):
twins because I'm an Irish trend. My sister Christine is
eleven months older, Irish choice Irish, so I think she'll
have another baby. I also think too, we're not going
to get to see a lot of Archie. Everybody that
I spoke to said that they're going to be really
private with him. And although Megan really knows how to
garner the limelight and she enjoys the spotlight, Harry does not.

(05:22):
He doesn't like the press. He blames them for his
mother's death. And so I think that now that they've
moved out of London to frog war Hall, I think
we're going to see less and less. She put a
picture out on Mother's Day which was not Mother's Day
in Britain. It was in America, so she's using an
American Mother's Day was like an international Now it's not
like Christmas, it's like New Year's Well, yes it still

(05:44):
yes Thanksgiving. Thanksgiving doesn't really exist in other parts. It
does exist in Britain, put it's on a different day.
So Megan shocked people in Britain by wishing everybody a
happy Mother's Day. They were like, it's not Mother's Day,
and they were like, oh interesting, England. Isn't the whole
go from the the upper echelons of the royal family
to the the dirt of reality TV back here in

(06:06):
the stage. So Monday Night, the Bacheloretta is back. Hannah
is our bachelor at this season, Rob, you seem to
be smitten. I love her and I didn't like her
at first. I thought she was too pageant e and
I thought, then you watched the show, she's so adorable,
and I think she's so real and she's goofy, and
it felt like we're going back to the original formula

(06:29):
of the Bachelorette, where we find a really lovely girl
next door. It was a little bit prettier. That's all
of the guys are a little bit better lucky. But
there's sort of like people we could sort of be
if we didn't eat ice cream and worked out like
except when those those guys roll out of the limo. Well,
I think there's so many of them. I get it,
and you have to stand out, you have to. But
I think producers go to them and say, would you

(06:49):
be willing to jump out of a box? Right? Will
you be willing to drive in on a track? Would
you be willing to sing a song and sound stupid?
So if you were, if you were single, and you
would get to go on the Bachelor, right, they would
make you to a radio voice, so you would be
Garrett Radio, Garrett one hand over my ear, I will

(07:10):
see you inside and on that from you? You know,
if if a producer and I get it, like you
want to get on TV. But if a producer would
come up to me and say that, like, I think
I'm at the point in the life in my life
where I would realize I go no, right, and that's
why you that? That would tell them to things as producers.

(07:31):
It would tell them a real genuine guy and you're
there for the right reason. So maybe would keep you
on the show and not make you radio or be
it with teach us. He's not the right fit to
be the comic relief. We'll hire, We'll find somebody else
next and they and oddly enough, they play their odds.
There is a guy that would get scary. Scary would
come on wearing a radio on his head. But then

(07:52):
there so the the card that I didn't see them
pulling last night, which they usually wait until the end
of the show, like the like and they get down
to the final two, is like, you had a girlfriend,
So it's not like it just like randomly came out.
I'm guaranteed those those damn producers again said you know,
let's do something different. This guy had a girlfriend friend

(08:12):
two days ago, two days before he went to the
bad Ship, before he goes to the mansion. Who days
and she had a two friends. And imagine like, Rob,
you and I call it off, and you're like, you
know what, that's not working out, but tomorrow I gotta go.
And then tomorrow you see me on another podcast, and
you had no idea. I was going like, I feel
bad for that girl, that poor innocent girl that I

(08:32):
was like, oh, this guy broke up with me. They
never said her name, so she clearly did not want
the press because what they would have done I brought up,
like I said, she had been a Bethanie Frankel type,
she would have gone like like some people love that attention,
love that drama. They clearly wanted the girl there, but
they couldn't get so they got two friends in a
white van to like observe and it was really clever,

(08:55):
and then to get rid of him before the official
photographs taken. He's not even in the photos. It's a while,
but he did clap back, and I think he might
have a small point here, which he said to a
new bachelorette only a month ago, you're in love with Colton, right,
And she was like, oh, and she's like totally different.
I was like, here's it. Well, but here's the thing.

(09:16):
She went a month versus two days in the relationship aspect.
I get it if if you could find your true
love the next day, right, but let's be real, these
guys are not finding true love. I feel she wants
to find love. I'm not sure all the guys that genuine,
but it tests like that any anytime. I don't think

(09:36):
you're here for the right reasons. I don't think you're
here for the right reasons. That that that that's like
the ultimate line, like you want to get on the
Bachelor Bachelor, right, you just have to memorize that line
and deliver it perfect. Would not be good on this.
You're too kind, You're a sweet guy, you're a nice
guy kind, but I pushed to become honest though. Could
you grab me? So we're standing in the room with
doing the Gay Bachelor, because I'm the bachelor, the Bachelor,

(09:58):
and could to come up between me, grabbed my arm
and say, hey, Rob, can I Can I steal you? Well,
so no, I would would turn to the other guy
first and go and because at the end of the day,
it's it's about showing like who's who's the bigger man?
And yeah, I go um, and I'll say can I
steal him? For a second and then they're like shocked.

(10:19):
So normally, if if in a situation, if that happened
at a bar like that person would have obviously say
get the hell out of or no. But because they
don't expect it, because the cameras are on them and
they're not seeing a coming, they all every guy, guy
girl whoever's on the show is in that situation always
goes sure, sure, I'd be like no. And also to

(10:40):
when I got out of the limo, I wouldn't be
quick because I've got you one on one, right, So
I would pull up a chair and I can do
a lot of talk. So I would sit down. I
pretend it was our first day and the forces have
to be get in the house. Not no, no, no,
that's where that's where I pull out my phone and
get you an uber and I'm saying, no, I think
we're good here. If you're If I was standing there

(11:01):
and you came out the Limit and you were like
home Garrett, and you started just talking and we just
sat there for an hour. You made me laugh. We
might have like hold hands right, I like this is
really fun, and the other guys are in the limit
skill there's a backup sweat again, got to pay the beta.
That's a brilliant move. I would sit there. I wouldn't move.

(11:22):
I would walk out and I'd say say let's have
a see. I would sit down and I just start
talking to you like this, here's the thing. So I
wouldn't do an introduction. I would do That's the days.
But but we would, we would have this connection. Let's
just see on the Gay Bachelor and uh. But then
when they got those those slick producers would get it
would put like a cheesy clock to make it seem
like I'm a star. I don't. And then the girls

(11:47):
in the family like, he has a wife. If you
would if they exposed you with a heterosexual what about
if one of them did say he's gay, he's got
a boyfriend. This batch, there's a few guys that you
shouldn't judge people on their voice or their mannerisms, but
there's a few guys that were quite a high pitch right,

(12:08):
And I was like, I think it's but you and
I have been around cameras, so it's like we know
at the end of the day you can act normal.
But when you're first getting in front of cameras, if
you're from Bumble wherever, or even just the news, if
you've never been on cameras, trick. I always know the
ones because some of them are wearing makeup and some

(12:29):
are not. Yeah, so some of them look like right secret,
their girlfriends put it on before fully made up. Their
girlfriends put it on before they got out of the
car the full track that you wouldn't wear hair and makeup.
Do you want to come to l A with me
for the weekend? Sure, um we're going to break up,
but do you mind putting some foundation on my But
it's been nice. I would get out of the full
hair bacup of course, be full hairbaup. Come to radio

(12:53):
full makeup and and hair done and and your your
teeth do that glistening thing where they sparkle ching running secrets.
I saw him this morning, got his show. I don't
watch that show, but I watched this morning. He's damn good.
He's just so shiny and like he's like she's He's
like perfect, he's perfectly. I would love to you know,

(13:13):
and I'm sure they're I don't think I was about
to say he has to have some ting like normal flaws?
Does he far? Does he picture? I think has bad
bread wouldn't be great if Ryan's Secrets had the worst breath,
Like he has to have the worst farts ever, because
don't come across TV Kelly, but that's Kelly. I tell

(13:34):
everyone a bit like he farts, but like he's just
you cannot not like Ryan Seacrest, So you know, what
So about a year ago, Rob, you said, I'm gonna
sit down, it's coming to the end. I'm going to
watch all the Game of Thrones, and you did. I
did seventy hours. Seventy hours. That's why his website wasn't

(13:54):
up and running as much as it normally is. So
you were there, and now you're on the final season.
You're you're up to the final episode of Game of Thrones.
Feelings thoughts you You've invested literally almost se almost three
days of the last year, so three days of nothing
but Game of Thrones. I really really like it. I

(14:14):
feel like it's not quite as sharp as I wanted
it to be, kind told, but it's now no longer
based on the book. So he has not yet delivered this.
He hasn't and so they're doing the show without a book,
and I think there is a difference. And I also
think when he does write the book, if he comes
up with a different ending, people will take the book
as gospel. So it's always about the book. So I

(14:37):
like it. It's interested on TV shows. I know they've
got me, and I know it's good because I actually
care about it. If I didn't care about it, then
it would not be good. So the fact that I
do not like the way they've taken the story is
actually a good thing. She just shows you how invested
I have in this show, and so I want a
really happy Disney fan. Like, so if you're explaining near

(15:00):
to someone that, like Bruce, your husband is, he's invested,
he's invested, how would you sell it to a friend
of yours that has like, like sum it up in
like like three words fantasy. It's um sex, sexy, and
it's sort of like epic. It's epic. It's like an
old time Jason and the it's like this old time movie.

(15:24):
It's just so old fashioned, but it's sort of wizards
wizardry and it's like a really hot version of Harry Potter.
Like there's something really magical about it. There's dragons, and
there's witches and the spells. It's a really really great
The ultimate question is and there's so many different characters
in there, like I can be a little mean. So
there's a queen with short hairs, have to be a queen.

(15:47):
She's she's a queen. She doesn't have but she's a queen.
What doue? And she's nasty well and She's my favorite.
So so the ultimate question I'm asking all my friends
who are very much invested into Game of Thrones. Game
of Thrones ends what the Sunday Sunday, same night as
Idle Finale, which is bad. You know which one's going
to win their American Idol of They renewed it, though
I didn't think they were gonna well, I think I

(16:09):
think they're going to retool it to a degree. But
here's the thing with Game of Thrones. Game of Thrones
ends on Sunday Monday. Do you call up your cable
provider and cancel HBO? Why do they have for you?
But I didn't call cancel it after Sex in the
City or Sopranos ended right or six sat Under. So
I I it's like a gym membership, you keep on
serious radio people have these memberships. Yeah, you're right, Jim,

(16:30):
I have a membership. I haven't gone. You should go
to I have a membership there. I don't think they're
going to cancel, and maybe they'll get a little bit
of a drop off, but I think that the amount
of people they got um during the last see this
season will will will be much greater than you and
I like to talk about stories that that you work
on for Naughty Gassa. I say by Wednesday, because Monday

(16:50):
Tuesday is all going to be about the ending than
the ratings. It could be the highest rated HBO ratings
because people, Yeah, so by Wednesday the eight bell drop off,
so many people cancel HBO. I mean it's amazing if
you think about it. Seventeen million people are watching this
pain what thirty a month. The money that they bring

(17:10):
going to the gym dagger or you could be going
using the gym membership that you have. People already HBOS
teased that there's a new Game of Thrones prequel. They're
putting on an our special of the behind the scenes
of Game of Thrones, so they will milk it for
for all they can. Also, there are two Big Little
Lies is coming back, which is not Game of Thrones,

(17:31):
but it's a great series. I'll keep HBO. I'm happy
to alright, So I could spend that money on a
two drinks in New York City. Really me and you
were not drinking today, that would be my HBS. That
would be the cost of doing laundry in New York City. Um,
we've talked about it before. You were involved early on
in their career, but yet there is more spicecall drama
that is coming about these girls. So well, I'm hearing that.

(17:54):
So I know a couple of people that are on
tour with the girls. They're in rehearsals right now, and
they said it's secretly they're loving get. They are wizards
at this. They haven't had this much. They're playing again.
Where they are playing, they have the world wrapped around there.
They're not Dnni and Marie. They're the Spice girls. Like
there's going to be some sexual tension on stage between
male and Ginger, which I think they want after Mel

(18:15):
revealed they had a lesbian kiss and Ginger said, no,
I think it's all planned. And I think the girls
are just now at the point in their careers where
it's not going to change their reputations. They are who
you are. You will always be Ginger, Spices are you,
will you if you win a Nobile to, you will
be Ginger. And so I think now that girls an
I mean, look look at given. Whatever you think of

(18:36):
the man the president, he's known as being the reality
show guy that became president. Always thinking you'll always have
that title. It's weird. Like when people try to change
their reputations. Maybe Angelina Jolie is probably one person that
did Maleficent. I think she like, I know, you could

(18:57):
be set for life, But like, not only is she
said for life, she has now set her family up
with Disney for life. Yes, the amount of money she's
earned and earning doesn't change only her life, it changes generations.
It's like if you have to pay for Disney tickets,
those things are expensive. That's right, she's generations of wealth
she's generated. I can't wait, wait, wait, Although I thought

(19:19):
Maliffics had ended with her becoming a good queen queens,
and now this trailer looks like she's bad again. Well,
you know, she's got a head and apple Apple. So
he responds to all this drama, don't buy into it,
secretly loving it. I think I'm hearing Posh is almost
regretting her decision. She's not in the loop. And wait

(19:39):
till these girls, they haven't started singing a note yet,
Wait until the show happens. I'm told it is so
over the top and spectacular, it will be like an
Elton John's confident. I mean, so you're with them what
five years ago? Just a baby the babies eyes babies,
And when I said with them most like getting coffee
on the set, like in that world, and they are.
I mean, it's really I thinks it's It's opened up

(20:01):
the debate now we had it a little bit. Is
can of the group st this cannon sink go on
tour without Justin? I think Justin was probably the biggest
star than than Posh Spices or the Victoria Beckham was
pretty big in Britain. And so like, can they do it?
And I think the answer is yes, because I don't
think it's about the girls anymore. Thinks about the music.
But if I'm in missing and I want to go
to that show and I want to feel like I'm
coming to younger, spend all the money that you're making,

(20:23):
how about be able to see him? And the ticket
is so expensive, I'll beside far back. It could be
you up there catch it on YouTube? Right, So I
think that the bands can do this. So here's my theory.
So here in New York there is what they call
the upfront, wherever we see all the new TV shows
and we hear about the ones that are getting canceled.
So yesterday Fox had there and we we got to
see the new cast of nine o two and oh

(20:45):
the reboot. Now here's what I'm thinking for nine o
two and oh do you know who was not there? Who?
Shannon Dorothy? It was interesting. I did read that, but
I started thinking. I was like, how did they pick
up the show? And as opposed to just picking up
the show as if last left off, if they want
to be true to the show, they pick it up
from the the burial of Luke Perry, their friend just

(21:10):
passed away. They have to address that. You pay homage
to a character that helped build the show, and you
move on from there. They all have children and all
about that kids, I believe so, but that's what brings
everybody back together because they all went their separate ways.
What comes back together a funerals, weddings, funerals and basic
So so yeah, you have all three. I think this

(21:31):
is the They probably are already filmed it. It probably
has nothing to do. I think it's a very good
way to start the strip you want. They'll they'll figure
this out. Although well, well there's been a lot of
these rutbeats that aren't very good. Remember Dallas and what
was actually Simpson Jimmy Kimmels bringing back the Jefferson's. You know,
but I guess the saying of of what what what's

(21:53):
old is new to to a whole new audience. I
get that, but told which is interesting. The cast is
not making them any they want, so they're doing this
on a budget. So now those days of making those
friends salaries or those huge salaries have gone, and now
instead of millions. They said this on the Roseanne reboots.
I spoke to Sarah, not Sarah, Sandra Bernhardt, who's a

(22:16):
character on the Rosanna. She said, but in the peak
of Roseanne in the eighties, they were all flying first
class and stayed at the best hotels. That it was fabulous.
She said. She went to L. A. L. L Hey
Jet Blue, which is like, it's a different Roseanne. And
I was like, oh, I think the same with nine
or two one. It's now going to be a budget verse.
All right, Well, time will tell on that, and uh,

(22:37):
you know, who knows what will happen? Will we have
another Royal Baby? Will we have another reboot by next week?
Britney Spears, be free, finally fall in love? So many
questions we don't have the answers yet. That's why you
have to keep on listening. Rob, thank you as always,
and thank you for listening to us each and every
week or we appreciate it greatly. Leave those comments because
though we don't get paid or we get raises, those

(22:59):
are our payment. Uh so enough kind of sort of,
so leave those reviews. Thank you for listening. We will
talk to you soon right here on I Heart Radio
