Speaker 1 (00:00):
Okay, here we go. I know, I know, what would
you talk about on your morning show? That's how it is.
And then we lower the music a little bit. See
(00:21):
how it works just like that. That's right, because when
Greg t is here, the train is off the rails.
Ladies and gentlemen. All right, So if you hear my
voice on the fifth team in the morning show, then
you know only one thing is happening. The important people
of the Elvis Drean Morning Show are right now in
another studio and they are recording an interview with a celebrity.
There you go. And then when we replay that back
later on at another time. So you're saying that people
(00:42):
that are in here are not important, right? So yeah, no,
the audience knows. I already told them. There's several times
because whenever I'm here, I, me and Garrett always tell
them what's going on. We like to let everybody in
behind the curtain. Come on on stage, behind the curtain,
take a look in. See everybody there they are, ladies
and gentlemen. There's the Elvis Drean Morning Show in another
studio and they are now recording something over the phone
and there they go. Okay, alright, so anyway, what's up, captain?
(01:08):
My voice is terrible because I am sick. Well, I'm
not sick. Are you sick? No? I have this thing
going on in my throat and it's just it's my
voice is very rough and my throat is sore. Right
see now, Okay, I had a sore throat on Sunday
into Monday. Then on Tuesday when I came in, I
was looking like complete crap. So they Nate and Elvis said,
(01:29):
just get out of your go home. So I did.
I went home and I slept and it felt so good.
And Wednesday came in refreshed, ready to go. And then
today I woke up and then my voice was gone.
There's the problem. Alright. So it's me and Froggy and
Sam and Lisa. What's up? What's that are? We got
all the microphones working. We're all good. Um? So, anyway,
when did you start getting your sickness off? Frog? I
(01:52):
started on what was it Monday? It was Monday, Yeah,
it was Monday morning. And what do you take for it? Well?
I started taking like the music next daytime at nighttime.
Does that work for you? Well? Sometimes it makes my
heart race und like a good trade no, no, but
it makes you feel better about your heart racist. So
it's like a give and take. You can't get everything,
but I'm ready to invade pol Like look at Tom Cruise.
(02:16):
He's a good looking guy, but he's like three feet tall.
He didn't get everything. That's right. It was taller, he'd
be so much more good looking. Yeah, I have I
have a question. When you are sick, are you self sufficient?
Because he is, he's not a cry baby? How are
you okay? I'm a big baby. I moan, I groan,
and I go oh, I lay around and then Trish
(02:38):
kicks me. The button goes, come on, stop it already.
So I'm a big winer. But does that bother Trish?
And does that bother you Lisa? Or would that bother you?
You know? But I'll tell you it does bother Lisa.
Because any time I have any type of medical issue
or procedure or whatever, I'm very self like. I want
to do stuff myself. I want to get about the couch,
(02:58):
I want to get my own drink, I want to
go to the bathroom. I want to do my own stuff.
Least it's like I can't let me help you, right,
it makes me angry because he doesn't help me help him,
And it's like, there's a point maybe you do need help,
because listen, when I'm sick, I'm one. I want a
nurse and I want to be baby. That's what I want.
I like that. Yes, would you let a random person
give you a sponge bath? Absolutely? I mean all of
(03:22):
us have m Yeah, you're not a good guy to ask.
I remember the time we went to the beach same.
I don't know if you're with us or not. We
went to where Fire Island. I wasn't there. Every time
we do have a podcast, we go down this road
of times. The Great Team was need We go to
Fire Island and we're tea dressed up in drag with
(03:45):
Uncle Johnny and everybody had a good time. And so
at the end of the day we decided to go
across the street over to the beach and there we're
fans over there and just random normal people. Yes, And
all of a sudden we look butt naked on the
big running in the water. You were allowed it was
a nude beach. Wait, first of all, it wasn't really
was he allowed? Yes that, I don't know if he
(04:06):
says so, I don't know for women, they didn't have
to be bottomless, but were they were allowed. No, I
think it was that that's not a beach, not a
nude beach. No, no, no, no no no. But if you
want to be naked, a topless beach means you take
your top off, ran around with your cranking out. It
wasn't pervert walking around on the beach like that. It
was open to the public to be naked. If you wanted,
(04:28):
you could have gotten in trouble. You know. He was
so happy though, he had so much fun. He was
taking pictures. Yeah, it was a great time. I was
able to cross dress. It was a great time. He
enjoys being naked on a level that most people don't understand,
which is why it's not I mean, this sounds weird
to some people, but which is why it's not creepy
or gross. Like. He kind of enjoys being naked the
(04:50):
same way my three year old cousin enjoys being naked.
He keeps stripping off his clothes. Question, you guys are
the same. It's it's I guess I've and wondered this,
and I don't think I've ever asked you this. Have
you ever had to get naked or have you ever
you know, like been at the time you were gonna
get naked in front of somebody, you were a little like,
I don't really want to get naked in front of this.
Like when I was in a pledge and a fraternity,
(05:11):
we had to get naked in front of the brothers.
That bothered you. Well, it was kind of weird, like
what's gonna happen next? Oh, that's fair. Here it works
like we've had celebrities and you get naked, does that
ever get nervous? I did get embarrassed when I had
to get naked for Charlie Pooth. I wasn't expecting it.
And then Elvis maybe get naked for Charlie Pooth and
I did find it a little bit uncomfortable. Okay, So
(05:33):
if you can mentally prep that helps. But because you
were taught off guard, you weren't like, you weren't properly vetted.
If there was a celebrity that you like, like a
female celebrity that you liked, you were attracted to Megan Trainer, Yeah,
I was. I had to take pictures with her naked,
So I stood there naked with Meked Trainer. Were you nervous.
Uh no, because Sam was right. I was already mentally,
mentally prepared to be naked, so it didn't bother me.
(05:55):
Then it's like cram coursing for me. Do you have
to prepare yourself? Yes, I need to get into the
zone of greg t because that's not who I am
when I'm not here. Right, So you don't run around
naked at the house. No, exactly, Like, no, it's not.
That's not that people don't understand. Are you get in
zone for all your characters? And do you have to
kind of get in? Okay? I love walking into your
(06:18):
character study when you have one. I'll go like, bother
you for something in the back, and you answer me
in the character. It's not a joke. You're in character.
You're prepping. Yeah, being great tea is um, it's it's
it's bothers sometimes and it bothers me. So I need to, like,
I have to prepare myself. So now, since we've done
it for so many years now, I just kind of
like snap into it and snap out of it. So
soon as I get out of here, I usually take
(06:40):
a long walk to my car so I can, like,
you know, decompress yourself right, and then when I get
to the car, I'm just like lonely. You're just greg No, wait, lonely, lonely, quiet, lonely,
well because I don't know. I'm lonely because I don't know,
because I'm sad. Listen to some type of music or
something on the way home. I like jazz music, like country.
(07:03):
I do like country as well, but not after work,
after working, like I listen to jazz and then I
just sit back and chill out. Melanie musical background. It's
transitional music. It's important to find the right music on
your way home, especially if you have a lot of
feels like you just said, you did. It kind of
helps you get out of here and into dad life, right.
Or sometimes I listen to a podcast or something like that,
you know, something completely different. But I never listened to
(07:25):
the radio station that we have that that we're on.
You know, it's work that don't listen to this music
all day long. You know, it's like a hot dog man.
Hot dog guy isn't hot dogs all day and eat
hot dogs all day. You have to get away from
it to a break. So I just take a break,
like you don't think like a porno actress doesn't go
home and like just have sex all day. I never
have sex off work. I'm sure. I was always curious
(07:46):
to that. If you're having sex for work and then
you go home and you have a relationship, how difficult
is that to juggle a relationship with someone that really
loves you and that wants to be intimate with you,
but you have to be intimate with people for your job, right.
Can you imagine somebody going, well, you didn't breathe and
scream like that when I was with you. Can you
imagine at least I think exactly what that I watched porn.
(08:10):
I'm just saying, you know, I really do think it.
Like for me, if I was getting intimate with someone
and they weren't reacting the way that they react when
they're acting, then I would think like, oh my god,
you're not doing it. I'm not doing it right. I
never thought of this means there's problems on both ends.
But if you're the porn star, you might not want
(08:31):
to be having sex for the seventh time that day,
And if you're the partner, you all know your standards.
The only thing that makes sense is is that if
they're both porn star right right. Obviously, that's why they
stick to get no pun intended. That's why they could
you do porn um? I think now I could before
(08:53):
I couldn't before. What Well, the Lexa pro that I'm on,
you know, that kind of keeps me like you know, quiet, yeah, stable, Yeah,
the lexa pro um it allows my my hormones to
be at a different level, so like now I can
go a lot longer than I used to be able
to do that. I think I need a little bit,
wouldn't be I've been thinking about, you know, there's got
(09:15):
to be something out there, but so wonderful. You know.
My buddy's wife is on Alexa pro and he says
that she's so much more like she's like warming and
kind and she wants like snuggle with him and everything.
But he said, yeah, he said, she's told, do you
have any with you? But she doesn't, no, no, But
she doesn't get like like doesn't want to get intimate,
just wants to get cozy. Like it's like it's like different.
So for me that so for me, it's not like
(09:38):
I'm I'm always like wanting to be intimate. So now
what I noticed was with the medicine, it like allows
me to enjoy it a little. So sorry. You know
how we said that everyone else out of the room
is more important or said that, But I was just
texted by one of the people in that room. No,
I have to go load a song for the interview
they're doing right now. On the face of step yourself
(10:01):
the most important. Yeah, I know. All right, well we
we'll be here waiting. Yes, so anyway, yeah, so so
that is the downside though, to to the lex pro so,
I called my doctor and I said, I think something's
wrong because I'm like seventeen years old together eighteen or whatever,
and he said, yes, I know, I know, I know
because I was trying to make jokes with it. It
takes you longer to get to the finish line. It
(10:22):
takes you a lot longer. Yeah, times that you can't
get to the finish line. Um, there's only one time. Uh,
I mean just focus, I don't really focus, really focus
about I'm like, please something, just get me over, you know,
please hurry up. That's already so anyway, So that's that.
(10:46):
But for to be honest, though, the lexe pro really
helped me out a lot. It helped me deal with
a lot more situations at home. I don't get as
angry very fast. I don't have I don't have a
short use yeah like a lot. Yeah are you trying
to say, have a short views. I don't think I
need this. Yeah, you can work for both, you know,
for both. But um, it's it really has helped me.
At first, I was really upset about taking it, like,
(11:08):
oh my god, I have to do this to myself
and take this. And I would take a pill and
I'd say okay, by Greg, and I would take a pill.
But now I almost miss it because I see such
a difference that I can't even believe it. Can you
tell a difference when you miss a pill? Like if
you miss a dose, No, not immediately, like if you
miss like two or three, you can feel yourself slipping right. Yeah,
like that that happened to me before we're I for
have to go pick up my prescription. And like I was,
(11:29):
I was like maybe like day three, and then I
was like angry, yelling at everybody on the on the road, screening,
yelling whatever. And then I'm like, up, I need my
legs just like a drip. Get to the pharmacy so
I know today you're not coming to our holiday brunch
I can't make because you have tonight. You're gonna go
dressed up of Santa Claus somewhere. I have to be
Santa Claus at this casino up in New York where
(11:49):
I've done it for a couple of years. But the
problem is I didn't think it wasn't have to worry
about my voice. But now, shot, I don't know what
you star I really need some rest. You need to
drink some tea too. Starbucks has a great tea. Yes,
you know what before so Sam who just walked out,
Sam gave me this ginger tea. It's like a little
burn to it. So that kind of feels good. Yeah,
I've been simpling on it all morning. It's very nice. Now,
(12:10):
who's gonna put their button to wreath this year? Yeah?
That really that's tradition part of it. Yeah, I know.
I can't tell you how many pictures on my phone
I have from every year. Yeah, I know. That's another thing.
That's why, that's why great Team needs to decompressed. You
guys love that. It's it's so much fun and great
tea like things. It's so cool too. But the other guy,
(12:31):
he's kind of like really, this is all I have
to do, you know. So that's why jazz music is
uh is a plus for me in the car. Yeah, man,
it like chills me out. How long does your drive home? Um?
About a good forty minutes. Okay, that's a good decompressed yea,
yeah exactly, unless that other people in the road don't
know how to drive. That'll get me like the pro.
(12:54):
But yeah, so hey, listen, my sister just got back
from Disney World. She was down in Florida with you guys.
So she says that Christmas time at Disney what is that?
That was me? Oh, I thought it was coming. I
looked away somebody else's interview going on. Oh, I swear
(13:17):
because I looked away as I heard the sound. So
she says that in Florida, that's a really busy time
for Florid. Yeah, right, because the kids are off to school.
Insanity realized that sanity. I would have felt like nobody's
there one of the busy. Well, it's really never slow
day at Disney. But we went one year the day
after Christmas and it was dude, there was a sign up.
(13:41):
There was a sign up when we got there. The
park is closed. It's reached capacity. No way. Yeah, so
as like five people walked out, five people could go in.
That's how it was. Yeah, that's how busy it is
the time here. She told me that there was a
couple of rides. They waited two hours to get on
some of these rides, and I said, Stacey, how could
that be. It's it's the holiday season. We went in
November and at the front gate of one of the parks,
(14:03):
I don't want to know say, we were aiming for
one specific ride at the front of the gate, got
in and the second we got to the ride was
a three hour wait, your kid, you can say what
it was trying to get try to get on Pandora.
And I was shocked. I was like, well, there's no
good time because that's November. We got there when the
park opened, when the park opened, and it was a
(14:26):
three hour await. See, these are just food. I thought.
I had no idea. We had about thirty seconds left here.
It's been a lot of fun hanging out with you guys.
But yeah, so ay, I guess I'm never coming to
Florida in December now never, because you know, yeah, we
Disney World was packed. Plus I always think they don't
know that it's Christmas time. Yes we do. He says
that Chloris don't know it's Christmas. Stop they don't know. Stop.
(14:50):
It the same, not the same. But we do come
up here for Christmas because it feels more Christmas Eve
when it's cold in the al right. By Guys fifty
