What would you talk about on your on your podcast

(01:04):
Firms show? So here we go. We're starting to record
this podcast at ten oh one a m. On Wednesday,
October right after the show, and uh straight night, the

(01:26):
senior executive producer still isn't at work. I can't believe
that he didn't just turn around and go home. Well,
he didn't have a car, okay, so he was at
his girlfriend's car on the way from Connecticut. He had
a fender bender, a rear ender as they call it,
and he they had to tow the car, so he
had to, you know, bumber right off someone else. I
don't know which way he's going, but I was him.

(01:47):
I just go home, by the way. I spoke to
him briefly earlier, and I said, I thought your toe
was coming at seven five. You said here here they come.
He said it was a psych out. He says the
toe truck that showed up was not for him, so
he had been waiting for several more hours before the
toe truck actually came. Cinema text I watched the last
episode of season one of those are that's all gonna say,

(02:10):
speaking of toes, don't give stuff away. Stop it, Danielle,
I'm sorry, somebody they got their car to Nope, they
got their car toones. My Lord, to stop it. You
know what, Danielle, I am the spoiler, but Gandhi she
enjoys spoiling things, and she knows it doesn't really spoil it.

(02:34):
You know what, though, you're at the end of season two,
why don't you spoil it for her? I wouldn't do that.
I don't get mad at that stuff like they get. Well,
here's the thing. Danielle doesn't care if you tell her
stuff that she hasn't seen yet. She'll go washing it
and still enjoy it. But you have to understand, daniel
some people are different than you, and sometimes we must.
We must be nice to people who are different than us.

(02:57):
The same way too. You can tell great t the
ending of a story or a movie and he doesn't care.
But I just don't like to wait for the ending.
It's too much pressure. He asks me all the time
to take what I mean, it's too much pressure because
then that's the whole point, and it's the journey. What's
wrong with the journey? Okay? Well, the journey is a
good part. You know how you when you were into Ozark,
you were like, oh my god, it's so good, I
gotta watch another one, and you stayed up late to

(03:18):
watch it. Right, So what happens to me is the
same thing. Like my mind wants to say and push
through and watch another one. But the thing is I
have to move on with my life. So when I
go to work or something, I'm thinking, how can I
get home? How can I watch another episode? So that's
just so much. It's not like a glass of chocolate milk.
You don't have to gulp it in one gulf. You
can actually watch it at your own speed. You can

(03:38):
watch two episodes one day and one episode the next weekend.
You don't have to watch it all in two days.
With my personality like personality, right, So that's why he
smokes before I want I want to really inhales before sex,
and he exhales and during sex. You know, I will
say when it comes to sex, I think I taught
myself how to like relax and like kind of enjoyed

(04:00):
instead of just going in too much. Should life be
that way where you can just sort of enjoy the
journey and look look if you when you're walking from
the building to your car in the in the parking
lot whatever today, it's really not that far of a walk.
It's like with three blocks right to to three blocks,

(04:21):
stop and look at the stuff around you. You're gonna
notice stuff you've never seen in your life because you
are just from point A to point me without paying attention.
You should really really stop and like observe things. And
it should be that way in life, don't you think it.
Charlie Pooth that was in here a couple of weeks
ago that told us to stop and listen to the
song where you can hear the different layers. He taught us.

(04:44):
He taught me to be a better listener of actual music.
So now every time a song plays, rather than getting
bored of hearing it over and over again, I say
I'm gonna listen for something else this time, and I
find it. There you go, And in Netflix is the
same way. These It's okay. They are the kind of
guy who you don't read books. But if you read books,
you would go to the last chapter and read the

(05:04):
last chapter, because to me, it's like the agony of
going chapter chapter. But you don't have friends who do that,
who go right to the I have two friends who
go right to the last page and read the last
page first. Oh my god, why would you. It's going
to add the point of even any of It's like
I I enjoy things so much that it annoys other people.

(05:26):
I eat really slowly. I'll watch the TV show up
my own speed. I will walk around during the sunset
just because I want to see it. And I know
it's annoying, but I love it. I love it. Here's
the thing. Don't have children. You don't have as crazy
as a life as people who have children. For us,
a lot of things I'm not a lot of things

(05:47):
are faster paced. Like sometimes it's like, okay, well we've
I just put the kids to bed. We got an
hour to get this in before whatever. So we sit
down and watch the show and we got a fast
forward through certain things. Daniel you just gotta get it done. Danielle,
you watched You're done with season one of Ozark? Why
didn't so? But you watched every episode? You didn't go
right to the last episode. So and you enjoyed the journey?

(06:08):
Did you not? Yes? Or no? I did? But okay,
I can't like do what you do like I like
on the weekend, I might be able to watch three
at a time, but I don't have the luxury because
my kids are not going to go to bed. I'm
attacking me now. I don't have the luxury of doing Okay,
I'm hearing from Nate. He's just driving down with Louie

(06:31):
the tow driver on the West Side Highway. Should we
call home? Okay? How do you go home? It means
your FaceTime audio. I love FaceTime audio. You guys ever
use FaceTime? It sounds so crystal, sound pretty good. Here
we go. That's a man taking pictures was outside, so
I'm waving on it way. I don't know who he is.
That's the FaceTime audio sound. We should do FaceTime and

(06:54):
see what it looks like in the toe truck. Why
is he not answering? He never answers. I know he's
with his phone, Nate, he's talking, what's the name? You know?
He's looking at it right now, and he goes, do
I do it? Do I do it? But it's it's audio.
It's FaceTime audio. I'm not gonna see how ugly it
looks today. Never looks ugly. Hello, Hello, Nathaniel, did answer anyway.

(07:16):
He you know, he's not even here, and the show
actually was pretty good today, No offense. That's always the
worst thing to hear when you weren't there. How was
it? It It was great? Yeah? Hey, look where are you?
We're doing the fifteen minute morning show podcast. You're on,
Louis right, Yes, Louie, Hey, how you doing? No? No, no, hey,

(07:37):
look are you gonna take Is this a vacation day?
You're gonna take it? Are you? Like? What kind of
day is it? We're literally like about four minutes away
from you. Yeah? No, no, here's my point though, you
didn't come to work during the show. So is this
is this a vacation day or a personal day? Which
one they want to know down in payroll? Okay, Louis

(07:59):
saw in my car to mess up, right, I'm pretty
sure he's not a vacation to be honest, I mean,
you didn't come in and work at all today, so
therefore we shouldn't have to pay you for the day. Well, actually,
he was definitely on his way to work. Louie's lawyer, Louie, Louie,
you worked hard today. You should actually get paid double

(08:21):
for putting out with a straight name. Day. Alright, alright, Nate,
we'll see. I'm glad that you're safe and sound and Louie.
Have you ever met a guy named straight Nate who
just got rear ended. I haven't met him, but he's
pretty safe. Yeah, all right, thank you. Yeah, here's the thing,

(08:43):
he's coming. It's not my heart media's fault that he
didn't make it in. He didn't work today, so but
he technically should take a personal day. He got into
an accident. It wasn't a choice. I'm not saying it
was his choice. I'm just saying he did not produce
for the you know, it's a sick day days the
way to really he did not produce for the company,
as representation will be needs representation. He did contribute on

(09:06):
air to some point. Now, if he didn't call into
the show at all, I would argue that, yes, he
then has to take a sick day. But since he
called into the full days, pay for calling in once
to talk about being rear ended. I hate when people
freeload off of us. Talk about the video you have,
so go to my Instagram story that's Radio Danielle Mannaro

(09:28):
and see how Greg T was producing for the show today.
Sleeping in the back, and then we wake him up
and it takes two seconds from go back to sleep.
I do not purpose. That's called acting. And then no, no,
and then Elvis walked in the room and he realized
Elvis Caveman, and he got so nervous he woke up

(09:48):
and he acted like he had been awake the whole time.
I was content content, Gandhi, when you were producing I'm
sorry Radio Daniel, when you were when you were produce saying, uh,
the Maddie Show, it kiss in Boston. Yes. Would people
come into work and just sit in the studio where
you're doing a live show and fall asleep? Absolutely not. Well, no,

(10:08):
you wouldn't really sort of brings the energy down, don't
you think, without a doubt, even when people are sort
of like in bummer moods and being kind of like
I had a scort gun, and I really lobbied for
what I like to call the studio taser. Just a
quick wake it up, guys, that's it. We're getting a
squirt gun to shoot at Greg t like they do
with my cats. When my cat Last of Water never

(10:30):
heard anyone. You do not give consent to this. I
do not content to what they're taping me while I'm sleeping.
Are you watching it on Daniell Yes, I'm sorry, I'm
just trying to finish the sentence. Are you watching it
on Danielle's story on Instagram? Yes, I am. I was
faking it, by the way. Yeah, you could make the
argument that Greg t is actually doing more work by

(10:50):
speeding here, because they say half the battle is showing up.
At least Gregg showed up to the Now Nate is
going to be scurrying in here in the last couple
of minutes of the podcast. If he gets his voice
on this podcast, does that count as a day's work?
He did just now on the phone some more. No,
but he's he will physically be here. So his car
is coming to work. How is he getting home? Yeah?

(11:13):
What's his car is not coming to work? He's coming
to work. Gave him a ride, so that guy is
going to drop him off. I'm sure he'll uber home
or whatever. He's not gonna borrow my truck. All right.
You know, we really haven't even started the show yet.
We have things to talk about. Uh. We had a
meeting with Gandhi yesterday to kind of reassess her time

(11:34):
spent so far or assess rather and then uh, we
wanted to talk about like how Gandhi can best fit
into the show. By the way, this is customary to
do these things. There wasn't a problem. We don't we
don't have these meetings because there's a a red flag
or something. We do this all We do this all
the time. We have meetings to play meetings. That's what
we do. So what did you think of the meeting yesterday,

(11:57):
Danielle Do? It was good? We learned a lot of
good things. What do we learned about Gandhia? Well, we
learned that she um really loved hip hop. She's very
much into the hip hop. I didn't know that, Yeah,
I see, I knew that. Elvius didn't know that. I
didn't know that. Okay, what else did we learned? We
learned about um. What I learned that she has this
secret prep sheet every morning that she writes all these

(12:17):
crazy notes before the show starts. It doesn't share them
with the word. Who gets that prep sheet that you're
sending out? Okay, so I used to I used as
the producer. I was a producer before I was here.
So I'm just very used to kind of making the sheet,
but then I didn't want to step on anyone's toes.
So I keep making the sheet for myself so I
know what's going on, and then I just don't send it.
We have far fourteen producers. We would loved I would

(12:41):
love to get a crack at that sheet. That's right here.
Look at it. That O my god, look what all?
She wrote a book report before the show started today.
I always on today's show because she didn't give it
to us. I've been hoarding prep, guys. I'm sorry. Okay,
calm down, Calm down, do you? You and Brody? You
really have to calm down? But no, no, in great Danielle,

(13:04):
we should warn gandhi. Between Greg T and Brody and
and uh and scary, the energy level gets so crazy
and so frantics. Don't feel bad if you have to
walk out of the room to decompress that right now.
And I had to do it. Brody came in today

(13:24):
and he was non stopped. Yeah he was talkie talkie talkie.
But the thing is is everything he was saying was
actually great for the show. He had great ideas for
things to talk about and things that consider. But it
was non stop and I couldn't have like one moment
of my own thought. But you know what happened today.
So this is what it's like having kids. Right. Oh, yes,
so Nate was he wasn't here, So this is Brody's

(13:45):
opportunity to kind of get more of his ideas in there.
So I think he gets over excited, which is kind
of cute. And then I think that's what happens. Oh
my god, Now were you giving him social cues or
body language? Of course you saw me. I was out
of the room. No, I walked out of the room.
I would like, do this roll, I would make that,
I would make that noise. I sit here and I'd
walk out. And as I was walking and he was

(14:06):
still back here like a machine. You send them to
another room. You sent him to interview someone. You go
down the hall. I love Brody, but you hear it.
The noise level in this room is insane. And people say, well,
you've only been in a room for four hours. Why
do you look so tired. Oh my gosh. Try to

(14:28):
be with kids like that. For when my little guy
follows me around the house. But mom, like, so this
is an example. So last night I was having Elvis.
You called me the other night. We were having a
conversation and my kids are like tugging at my coattail. Mam,
can you buy me this on fortnite? Ma, I need
this for fortnite. I'm like, I'm talking to Alice. You're
going to have to wait a minute, you know what.
To be honest, I was about to get to like

(14:49):
a really important point in our conversation, and I said, now, Danielle,
what I feel the meaning of life is all about
is And then she says, hold on, yeah, what do
you need? I need a skinny skin? And here's what
I hear. Mommy will buy you a new skin in
a minute. You go over there. I get it now, mom.
The best way to describe it is Elvis is the

(15:09):
mama cow, and we're a bunch of calves and everyone
wants to teach I need more teats. Are you okay
with being called a mama cow? Yeah? Okay, okay, cool,
I need more. I need more teats. Okay, I'm going
to try to pull off my own. Okay, listen to this, right,
listen listen to this. Oh so good? Doesn't it sounds

(15:30):
so great? We get to get away with that on
the podcast because if we do it on the air,
you know, all these bells and whistles go off, So
we can actually do this for a very long time
in the pot we have. We have this computer thing
where if we have too much of dead air on
the show, it will all the stations, like all eight
stations will start playing like ari on a Grande or something,
so we can't have any dead air. But here on
the podcast, I can't even have dead air because this
music playing podcast we did a fifty minute more show

(15:54):
podcast didn't talk about anything minute morning show
