Speaker 1 (00:00):
I've been talking a lot about my sheets on my

Rich they're married. They've been traveling around the world, staying
in these five star hotels, sleeping on these five star

sheets at these expensive hotels they wanted to buy them.
The problem, the sheets are more expensive than a night
at the hotel. You could be spending I swear to
(00:21):
you eight dollars maybe more for one set of these
quality sheets. So Rich and Vicky said, no, not gonna
do it. So they did a lot of looking around.
They found the people who make these sheets, and they
cut out the middleman to save us a lot of money.
So now we can get the sheets we deserve. We
don't have to pay all that money. Lots of colors
and materials to choose from. Just go to the website

talk about on your on your podcast Firms show? There's
just something that melts my heart when I look out
here into the studio and I see every seat take it.
I love sit down, Garrett, so every seat will be taken.
(01:27):
Look at move your move your crap there, daniel his
chair is Everyone takes up three space at the table.
Everybody over, people who work on the show. We don't
have enough food from chairs. What you around anyway, your
grandmother used to when you're a kid, used to love
it when the whole family was there for the holidays
and whatever. This is how I feel. My heart is
filled with joy and love. Everyone's okay. That happens around
(01:52):
the room. We have Gandhi, we have producer Sam, We
have Dave Brody. We have roundheaded front Boys, which is
a great tea. What's next to him is scary that
there's Garrett, there's Danielle straight Nates here you know. Producer
Jake is in here too, you never know. So we
had a full room. All right, Well, it took so
(02:13):
much time to announce everyone's name. It's time to leave.
By thanks for listening. Hey, a lot of people are
going out to our special I Heart Date Night tonight.
We're taking a lot of our listeners. Should I start over? Okay,
Tonight's a big night. Are tonight. It's a big night.
We're taking a lot of listeners out for our I
(02:34):
Heart Radio Date night. So we have hosts from other
stations like Katie, you and uh, you know, the other
stations beyond Who cares, they don't matter, but it is true,
And we're taking listeners out to see uh, Frozen the
musical and also weaving dinner at John's Pizza. I love
this show so much. I've already seen Frozen the musical,
(02:57):
but I'm going back for the second time. It's so good,
you're gonna love it. I love that that our show
is the official morning show of all of Broadway and
off Broadway and off off off Broadway shows. I'm expecially
excited because I never saw the movie, and the thing
it's not like the movie. Well that's the thing. I
never saw the movie, and I wanted to go to
see the play because I heard the play when it opened.
(03:19):
It it was huge and everyone's talking about it, and
I'm like, I want to go this, So I'm taking
my girlfriend. I cannot wait. I'm so excited. And when
I told my mom that I was going, she got
really jealous. She bought her own tickets, so we will. Also,
I'll be seeing my mom and something we know from
after seeing Frozen the musical. Frozen the Musical, it's not
really a kid's show, it's this is for I'd rather
(03:39):
go with my adult friends and have like date night.
What do you see the loinclothes Saint exactly right now?
All right, so date night, Frozen the Musical tonight. Uh, Gregory,
can we talk about the list of topics that you
have submitted? As you know, Great Tea is the topic
master with his topic train. Yeah, I was. I was
(04:00):
just I was bored, so I was just, you know,
anything that popped into my mind. I was just throwing
it out there. So he gave us these topics for
our show. I don't want to overthink things. You put
it out. Let's vote on them and see if they're
going to show up on the Big Show? You ready?
Topic number one? Do you prefer egg raps or egg sandwiches?
Big debate? Now sandwiches? Is that a debate? I think
(04:21):
it is happening because you know, you know, egg wraps
are becoming much more you know, popular. But I think
that honestly, it's really an egg sandwich is where it's
all out. Well, the illusion is that you're getting less
carbs and an egg wrap, but the truth is you're
getting more carbs and then on a piece of bread.
I like egg sandwiches over egg wraps. Now the question
is is this something we want to do on the
(04:41):
Big Show? I was hoping we do a salsa chunky
or smooth. If we could do that, that's good, all right?
Next topic, great tas asking if we should do on
the show or not. Have you ever crashed your car
into your garage? Have you ever smashed your side of
your mirror? I'll say the answers, yes, I've done both.
But is that a topic for the show. You'd want
to hear how much damage people have caused themselves by
(05:04):
backing their car out or going in or hitting the garage?
I mean you could is that worthy? On our show.
Is anyone going to have a better topic to call
in on than Greg T backed out of his garage
and hit his own other car? That's the one. Have
you ever crashed into your own car while driving? You
(05:24):
know this happened to a friend of mine. He was
driving behind his girlfriend and he crashed into his car
that she was driving. That's a good topic. Well, not
if it's worthy of a show topic. But here on
the fifteen minute Morning Show podcast, if we phrase it
as have you ever rearreended your girlfriend? There is that
Well you know what I figured out just now, Greg
T is like the prep cook in a restaurant, right,
(05:46):
you kind of like get the meat ready, you get
the spices and everything, and then you give it to
Elvis and he makes a delicious dish out. You see
him like the bare ingredients. He's like, all my success
I owed him. That's right, exactly. So you're saying I
turn his trash into treasures. Yes, that's exactly right. Can
you can you turn the egg question into something? Okay?
So do you prefer egg wraps or egg sandwiches? No?
(06:08):
I can't do anything with that. You can't. Gone. I'll
start with you on this one, do you prefer yogurt
or drink or ogre yogurt you eat? To be completely honest,
I hate yogurt, so I wouldn't eat it or drink it. Okay,
So you debate of spoon or in a cup or
drinking it neither? Does anyone want to give a crap
(06:31):
about this time? Drinks are popping up everywhere I see
Padered here you are living in the past. I'll tell
you what you say that egg wraps are becoming so popular.
They've been popular for maybe a dozen years, and now
you're saying yogurt drinks are just now becoming really big.
Yogurt drinks have been around for years, but now they're
like they're out there with like coconut milk, and they
always have been. Well, its kale? Have you tried kale?
(07:00):
Listen up and coming vegetable? Okay? What was the last
thing you spit out of your mouth? I think we
should go there with that time, but Elvis can't relate,
so you can't do it. Sorry. Would you like to
explain what that means? Brodie eats all foods. He's a
as a very wide palette. Congratulations on that. I can't
(07:24):
wait what fake receipt do you hand into your boss
to expense just to get a little bit of extra cash.
That's a good one right there, that I'm not This
is illegal, I know, I don't. Absolutely people do it.
And who's going to fess up to that? And the
fact that you brought up the topic, You're going to
be looking into you like there's somebody in this room
(07:46):
that's done it several times. I don't know who has
done that. I would never Have you ever broken someone's heart?
Do you remember it? Who was it? And what did
you do? I have broken hearts? Have you? Gandhi? Yes,
I broke great teeth heart producer Sam, Yeah, I broke
(08:08):
the heart of my great aunt once. I'll never forgive
your aunt, your great aunt, my great aunt. I was
going through puberty. I was a little turret. I couldn't
really help it. I just had a big mood swing.
And I'll never forget her standing in my doorway and going, Sam,
I love you but sometimes And she tapped her chest
and goes, you hurt my heart all right? And her
I'm not kidding, she's since passed. It was a long
(08:29):
time ago. I have her pillow on my bed now.
Because of how badly I still feel well. And she
was the one person who admitted to you that it happened.
Just thinking of all the hearts you've broken and you
have no clue. Brodie, have you ever broken someone's heart once? Yeah? Yeah, yeah,
like a girlfriend. I had broken up with my girlfriend
and was dating someone else and was going really well,
(08:50):
and then my old girlfriend wanted to get back together
and I sited to the new girl who's going really
well with yeah, I'm out, And so she got very
she was You didn't know. You don't know how devastated
she would be. I did not, and she was quite upset.
Back to Gandhi, Gandhi, whose heart did you break? Um? Oh, okay,
my ex boyfriend. We were together for a very long
time and then when we broke up. I think he's
(09:11):
probably still not all the way over it, so that
that's one of them. I mean, did he look you
in the eye and say, hey, you broke my heart?
He looked me in the eye and said a lot
of things. Yeah. You know, in this book i'm writing,
I'm writing about a guy who was the one that
got away, And uh no, that's the Katy Perry story. Yeah, no,
(09:32):
I haven't even dated him yet. No, but you know,
the one that got away where both of our hearts
were broken. It was kind of weird. Yeah, but it's
it's kind of weird to write about it when you're
about to get married to someone else. I'm just gonna
ask you, how's that going. I don't know, I haven't
mentioned that yet. My mom has that to you know,
the one that got away. She she always tells me
the story of this beat Nick back in the day
(09:53):
that she loved and she dated him for so long.
But my grandparents were very strict, God rest their soul,
and she wasn't allowed to call him. She was only
allowed to talk to him on the phone like once
or twice a week. Um, if he came over, they
had they always had to be in the same room
as her. It just wasn't meant to be. He got
sick of it and just stopped calling. And she always felt,
(10:13):
you know, she loves my dad, but she always felt
that he was the one. No, wait a minute, so
your dad, how does he feel about this? I mean,
my dad's so easy going, He's like whatever, I mean,
if one gets away, does it mean that they were
the only one? You life. Of course there's another one,
you know, But what doesn't mean if that person came
(10:34):
back around, they would give it a shot. I don't
think now she would, but she might have out don't think.
I don't think. So what about you, Scary? Did you
break someone's heart? Now? I've never broken a heart, I
don't think, and I had your heart ever been broken?
My heart has never been broken. Well, the day is
you have a heart? You guys often wonder if I do.
I really guys wonder if I'm capable of loving? What
(10:55):
about what about you? Garrett? I think, go back and
go back to high school? Like on both side, you know,
you find that that first love in high school and
then you find someone else after that first love. So
it's like your heart gets broken and you break someone
else's heart. Works it's my turn? Yeah, what about you?
You've broken many boys hearts? Actually, uh no, I broke
(11:16):
my mom's heart. How did you do that? I was
twenty three and I had decided I was going to
move to California. I was living with my parents at
the time, and so it took like a month for
me just to make up my mind that I was moving,
And so my mom was very supportive throughout the whole thing,
and she helped me pack up my car. And I'll
never forget that morning when I was about to leave
(11:42):
and we put the last thing in my car and
the snow was falling. There's a snowstorm in March and
Erie big surprise, and we put the last thing in
my car. I'm about to get in the driver's seat
and she looks at me and she says, Nathan, I
know you need to do this, but you're breaking my heart.
(12:03):
I wish you wouldn't go. And so I just start
bawling right and then you drove away, and then I
drove away. So I've been trying to trying to make
it up to her ever since. Wow, So that's that's
why you're nice to your parents. Never said we hear about,
you know, breaking someone's heart. We typically think about it
(12:24):
in a in a romantic situation, but you know, because
of your story and producer Sam's story, we know that
you can break. It's worse when you break a family
member's heart. That's I can't imagine. It was devastating. What
about you, Danielle, I mean, I guess I don't know
if you haven't broken someone's heart. If I look at
old love letters that like guys wrote me, they're always
(12:46):
apologizing for things. So I guess, But you asked my husband,
he'll go you always have to be right, and everyone's
always apologizing. So I guess I did. I think you
can go through life without breaking someone's heart. I think
it well. The reason why I wanted to wait till
great tea yea last, because this was your idea. What
made you think of this topic? Did you break someone's
(13:07):
heart or was your heart broken? My heart recently got broken.
I don't want to talk about it, really, I don't
want to go it's too fresh. So it's it's it's
part of the conversation. Well, you're married with kids. What
did you do to tell you're a kind of curious.
I I know you was curious, but it really is
so sensitive to your right. This soccer only about Okay,
(13:31):
So quickly, his daughter Ella played soccer for a very
long time. He coached Ella announced that she no longer
wants to play soccer, and wantes just break in your heart.
I can't really talk about the bonding connection with his
daughter anymore. Okay, So this is a great way that
you father and daughter have bonded, and now that is
going away. Ellen and I have built quite the relationship
(13:51):
together through soccer and for her to actually really really
make the decision to walk away. So why don't you
thank soccer for being the builder of this great relationship,
the one, the relationship that still is there today. So
you're saying, you're saying that without soccer you can't be
close to your daughter. No, but the way it all happens,
you doesn't want to go to the dance recitals. I
could say that I never said that. I never said
(14:12):
that he wants to go to a dance or something.
