Speaker 1 (00:02):
What would you talk about on your on your podcast
Firm Represents show give it Away? Yeah, you did good job.
Hey you're ruined it for everyone. Yeah, spoiler alert. This
is going to be shorter than normal because we've got

(00:22):
to go on vacation. We're out of here. Yeah. I
feel like, here's the thing. A lot of people cut
out early on their last day before vacation. Why can't
we cut out early? Why we need to do fifty Nate,
You're right because in this building, when there are holidays
that are going on, they send out a big email
the office is closed at one pm. Half day. We
don't get a halfway. Our shows normally over at ten.

(00:45):
Sometimes we leave around one, but we never get a
half day. So to this, but they don't say the
morning shows closing at eight am exactly. I think the
next time that they have some sort of July three,
the day before Independence Day or whatever. Friday. Yeah, like,
all right, we're done today peace. I would love that. Yeah,
but first of all, the typical work week. Did you

(01:05):
guys read that article that all work ceases and people
stop being productive at two pm on Friday afternoons? That
is the precise time when a typical nine to five
or just loses all interest. They don't get anything else
done that's of any worth, and Instagram rates go up. Well,

(01:26):
that would be five hours and thirty nine minutes into
a typical nine to five job on Friday afternoons. So
we come in around so we have a drowned five o'clock.
That means by ten thirty, but again we're done. We
don't benefit from any of or Fridays should be cut
kind of like we should like fade away at like
a thirty. I agree with that. Yell does the entertainment
report at eight thirty, It's like, and that's your entertainment report.

(01:50):
We're like, have a good weekend'll be right back on Monday. Now.
The article said, is because people have you know, they
they're just concerned about their weekend plans. They're buying stuff online.
It's like a senioritis. Right remember when you were senior
in high school. I think it was right around what
May you stopped caring because you knew you were going
to get into college. This is just that timeline on

(02:11):
a condensed scale. That's that's it. He's what we should
do on Fridays. The average majority of our audience doesn't
listen for four hours. The eight o'clock listener doesn't listen
at six am. Most likely we should run the six
to eight show from eight to ten. Here's a lot
of people who at DJs do that, Like certain shows
around they do that. We should do that eight o'clock.

(02:33):
You didn't hear six o'clock. Ryan Seacrest does the afternoon
showing here. Do you really think that he every day
comes in and recording the entire show? Hang on, Daniel,
He's right over there. We love you, Ryan, but we
know down got the cardboard cut out. I thought that

(02:54):
was Actually Ryan looks just like him. Can we address
the thing real quick? Do go for it? Okay, So
this podcast usually has a sponsor, like brought to you
by a Blue Apron or Zip Recruiter, some of our
great sponsors. But the past couple of weeks we have
not had sponsors. Today's episode will not be fifteen minutes,
and we don't have a sponsor that we promised fifteen minutes.

(03:16):
So I'm thinking, and I don't know how you guys feel.
It's up for grabs. Why it is Bitter Bob's Venetian
Blind Store. I'm making that up twenty bucks. You could
sponsor this podcast like a shoe company. To sponsors, send
us pizza. You get the sponsorship, and to tell you
a little backstory on On a month average, close to
a million people listening to this podcast. However, it will

(03:38):
not be sleeping in Niantic, Connecticut, because I still have
a bone to pick with them over that smoke. I'm
gonna call them while we're on vacation from my car
when I'm driving around. Yeah, Nate actually was accused of
smoking a cigarette and they charged him on the counter
that he's getting blamed for. Anybody could be a sponsor
except for them. You know what, you could call the

(03:59):
credit card company? Okay did they did? They get a
load of this? So I'm disputing their dispute because they
said the original dispute, when you sign up and you
sign that paper at a hotel, you basically give them
permission to charge anything, right, So they just went ahead
and did it. I have no exhibit, exhibit B any

(04:20):
of that crap. So I disputed their dispute. Good screw that.
Cancel my card if I'm ready. I am ready. That's
what I'm That's what I'm doing for my vacation. We
should call that hotel. Seriously, if we don't have legitimate sponsors,
when we can vacation, my Chinese restaurant on my house

(04:40):
will be the sponsor. As I'm sitting here, I'm okay
with that. Okay, there's no sponsors, so we should who's
holding this here? We could? She looked up a million people.
You're just about the money. It's also about the people
listening at the listeners. One of our listeners that as
a company has an opportunity. Yeah, someone else step So
can we make our own like um, like price point,

(05:02):
Like how much? How much for a slice slice pizza?
I do for free free in a pie, free food. Yeah,
we'll do it. For a pack of cigarettes. We'll do
it for a pair of shoes, okay, with cheese and salt.
