Speaker 1 (00:03):
What would you talk about on your on your podcast?
Phone represents minute morning show? Hello? How we here just
sing on hurt? Does that hurt people's ears when you
do that? No? But I think it's bad for the microphone,

(00:25):
is no. No, blowing in to the microphone is bad. No,
it's not like that. Yeah no, no, no, don't know
as the microphone? So happy? Thanks with me on this
proper etiquet. You're not supposed to blow into a microphone.
It destroys the stuff that's going on inside this behind
the screens sleeping microphone to your microphone. I try not
so many food particles and lipstick. I got lipstick stains

(00:47):
all over mind? Maybe different? Do you look into my microphone?
Please pick up little closer, little closer. So it's an
acquired Boys, Walkers and Talkers podcast. Uh, this is fifteen
minute morning show. That what is? Yes? That made me happy?
And Bethany, I'm here with Scary and Nate and Danielle

(01:08):
and Sam and Brody and uh we are here that
we are, bethany y, what's going on? Yeah? Kind of?
I just wanted to gauge my level of crazy. What
your guy's opinion was, Brody? I knew it. I knew it,
so spend more time with me. Um. Okay, So it's

(01:31):
out now, the Stephen King's remake it, and I really
would love to see it, and I'm planning on, but
my family has collectively gotten together and preemptively vetoed me
seeing it. Why because I don't do well with horror movies.
So we are planning on seeing it together, right, And
you know I hate clowns, so that's not good. But

(01:53):
I think she is worse than I am right now
because she is like she hasn't seen the movie yet
and she cannot sleep. That's because I watched as many
clips as humanly possible online, Like I was that person
I needed to go destroy everything for myself. Now. You know,
I saw the original so I know how it all goes.
But still I can't the clips itself. Like every time

(02:13):
I A C kicked in last night, I would hear
and I thought that was him coming for me. So
I will come. Like seven times last night, I didn't
even see the movie yet, Like or you could just
go see a more uplifting No, we're gona see it.
How many times can I see? How Baby Driver still
in the theater? You love that were I think you're fine.

(02:34):
You'll you'll, we'll all get there. If we all have
to stay up with you at night, we'll get you
through it. No, it's easy for you to say that
you're gonna fall asleep on the under side of the phone.
You have to come home with me. I'll come with you.
We can cuddle. I think it's good to stretch yourself
like that. Okay, I think it's good. I think that
you will get over it. No one's ever been killed
from a movie, right unless you live in the universe

(02:55):
of the Ring, And so I think that I think
that you should do it. So I don't think I'm
going to get over it. I think you will. I
mean eventually you have to. You're not going to the
rest of your life be jumping because of this time
you saw a movie. That's what happened with the Exorcist.
I still can't see your face or her quotes without
getting really scared or upset or sometimes crying. My sister

(03:16):
is like this, with heart like but not like scary
ones and like the bloody movies. She won't go see those.
So if I took her to see Saw, she about
a month. It'll take her to get back into normal
behavior because it messes her mind up so badly, because
she's such a nice person that she can't even imagine

(03:36):
all that stuff that goes on in the movie, and
it disturbs her so much. I feel like the boys
don't relate or understand the three of us to look
at each other like it's a freaking movie. Go see it.
It's clown's stand Why this is a problem, Well, first
of all, it's a problem if you have the clown
phobia that I have. A lot of people have that phobia,

(03:57):
and that just call that doesn't really If I see
a scary film, maybe I'll have nightmares at night, but
then the next day I forget about. It's over forever
ever since we're a little tyke, nothing bothers. Yeah, it'll
be like one day. I remember when I saw it.
I am legend. Guys remember that movie with Will Smith Zombie? Yeah, exactly,

(04:21):
all those zombies or whatever the hell they were walking
around New York City. When I got home, I was
kept my eyes closed. I was reaching around corners to
turn on lights. I left work. The next morning, every
light is on in the house. But then after a
day I was fine. Totally creatures under my bed at
night that would like if I if I put my
leg out over the bed, that that it would reach

(04:42):
out from Unneathan, grab grab my legs. Girls. Have you
ever seen one of rob zombies like horror films that
he directs? So I did. I heard them. Oh my gosh,
there was one where these cheerleaders I don't remember which
one it was, and they were all locked in like
this this not cabin but like, um, like a place

(05:03):
that you would store things, a storage for sytlas he
was having. They were getting hung up and like I
like meat locker, and my husband and I looked at
each other and we said, this sad part about this
is that somewhere in the world, this ship is happening
right now. Oh yeah, I listened to I listened to
podcasts that talk about you know, a range of topics.
We've talked about stuff like this, like things that I

(05:24):
things that happen on the dark web that I will
not even bring up because it's so messed up. And yes,
anything that you can come up with for a film
is probably currently happening. Yeah, I'll tell you off the air.
It's so people are locked in like sheds places and
being like tortured and oh my gosh, it's disgusting. Of course,

(05:46):
there's a model who was abducted in Italy. She was
kidnapped and she got rescued and they said she said
that she was going to be sold on the dark
Web in a trunk. Can you guys explain? I mean,
I've heard the term dark web a million times? What
is the dark Web? Is it like an Internet that's
an alternate universe? It's it's a it's a browser, um
that from what I understand rewroutes you through a bunch

(06:10):
of different levels and and addresses to get to a place.
So it's not easy to trace. So it's um and
it's it's a level. It's you get the tour browser,
you download the tour browser, and then you're basically not traceable.
And it's a lot of it's it's probably a lot
of folder on your phone. Really, so how do you

(06:34):
how do you get to the dark Web? And you
don't want to go there because like it's real killings
and real sexual crap that happens to kids and people.
This is our American horror story right now that she
the one girl is showing the kids. She's babysitting real
killings that are happening on the dark Web, and she's

(06:55):
showing Once you watch criminal Minds, when like they auction
off the opportunity to someone and they kidnapped them and
then you get to kill them, like they have auctions
like these people on the dark Web. Uh, you know,
kind of untrackable sites from what the way that I
just said. So it's sort of like money laundering, you know,
where you reroute the money through so many different ways

(07:16):
that it's hard to trace the money after a while.
If you it requires specific um what's the word. I'm
looking for specific skills, specific software, specific like passwords and
access and configurations, and then you're bounced a rout exactly

(07:38):
the non dark lisslist, but it's like Killer's list. Can
you go and you look for you know, and they
say they sell people to be auction to killed on there,
like kill your for sex work or whatever. Yeah. Wow,
So glad I somehow brought this up. I'm feeling much better, guys.
Thank you. It's it's horrible, yeah, yeah, it really yeah.

(08:00):
I mean you can do things on it from like
ordering pharmaceuticals. This is just purely from research on your part.
I'm too scared to even go. Yeah, I wouldn't even
know the first place to. I don't even know how
to start. Yeah, it's like where you you know, when
you pass like an accident and you don't want to look,

(08:21):
but you have to look. I know that if I
ever got on the dark Web, I would get myself
into the worst place because I wouldn't be able to
stop looking and I would traumatize myself. But don't you
also then expose yourself to like all kinds of viruses
and stuff for yourself and your computer. I mean, I
don't know you in the dark Web. I don't know
how to say it is. I mean, I would imagine
with that amount of you know, stuff, to even get there,

(08:44):
it would probably be pretty secure. But who knows something existed.
I thought it was fiction. I think that's where all
the hackings occur to. You know, anytime any sort of
datas you know, breached and they have it on, it's
on the dark web, right, you want somebody's information, you
can go find it. Like I just joined LifeLock and
um and this isn't a commercial And the first thing

(09:04):
they said is your information was taken and sold on
the dark ways. How do I find out if my
information has been taken? Holy crap? Okay, scary, Yeah, wow,
there's a lot of ship out there. Scary. What are
they gonna do? What are they gonna do with your
your information? They do a lot of things. Your information

(09:25):
to be murdered. They are going to kill my information
the most dangerous a ceremony. I'm like, freaked out. This
is this is the ship that freaks me out, Not
some stupid films. See what's funny happen? Don't scare me, no,
because this is real life stuff you're talking about now.
But before you were talking about a film called It,
which is fiction and characters and makeup only expectedly fiction

(09:47):
in all fairness. Will will never really know, I know.
But that's why I'm saying at the top of this podcast,
why I'm like, I was looking at and it was
looking at me and Brody and we're looking at each
other like, what's the big deal here? There's very little
that scares me. That's the dark clowns, you know, spiders, whatever,
that whatever, that's nothing. Commitment. That may be one of them.

(10:08):
All right, I'll give you that one. But having my
my information my identity compromise. I mean that scares me.
And all this ship going on in the dark web,
that stuff like that stuff that the stories that come
out that you say, how can that happen in this world?
That ship's happening right now? Sad. Oh yeah, let's talk
about something else. Yeah, we talk about stand over the weekend.

(10:30):
It's kind of funny. I he brody for this, but
that's okay. There was a pizza festival that was advertised
on social media and it was going on in Brooklyn.
They were like, hey, everybody pays seventy five dollars in
advance and go to this, uh, this empty parking lot
in Bushwick where there's gonna be a pizza eating festival.
I would do that, you pay, I did not, But

(10:50):
people there was If you go to eater either I
didn't know ear web the website eater n y dot com,
there is a they show you pictures of what actually
got delivered. So there's the the promise and hope of
a pizza festival. What do you think pizza festival everywhere?

(11:10):
A bunch of different vendors, a T E R and
Eater New York, and all of a sudden, people get
there and they're waiting in line for hours for a
cold pizza, and each pizza pie is split up into
like twenties vices. Everyone got it was a scam pretty much,

(11:31):
and people drove from as far as d C, from
Boston all the way to New York City to be
a part of this. Well turned to one person handing
out that crapass pizza, Like, didn't the warrant they held accountable?
I don't know. Apparently there's now a social media group
on Facebook is a group that's saying victims of the

(11:52):
Pizza Festival. It's this whole thing going on. But the
point my question was, have you ever been have you
ever phone for a scam? I mean, I you were
paid money into something that turned out to be fraudulent
or like just to me, it's if you see the
pictures of the pizza, it's actually kind of I mean,
it's awful and funny at the same time, because the
slices like the size of like like the width of

(12:14):
your thumb and everyone they were handing them out to people,
They're like, here's your pizza. And it was cold, and
people waited for hours and it was just a mess.
I would have had a torch and pitchfork at that point.
Don't promise me pizza and then give me that little
The thing is, anyone could organize anything at this point.
You know who's organizing stuff. And it all gets on Facebook.
Let's start a group. They said they were three hundred

(12:36):
thousand people that liked the page and about thirty people
wanted to be a part of it. I don't know
if you guys are seeing it. If you saw it, no,
I didn't see it, but I M but but that's insane.
But like, what do you know that? I guess there's
really no way to know for sure what you're getting
yourself into PayPal. You then move over your money ahead
of time. They send you some ticket that looks like
they you know, they could have made it online. You

(12:58):
could make your professional looking ticket like oh, I'm going
to the pizza festival on Sunday. Well, on a larger scale,
this happens to us every year for jingle Ball. We
tell people do not buy tickets on Craigslist or anyone.
We cannot promise you that they're real tickets. And every
year we'll have people email us and say I sent
two thousand dollars to a guy he sent me fake tickets?
Can I please get real ones? And it's like, we know,

(13:20):
we you just can. You never know. That's dark web
kind of ship. That's not pretty single tickets on a
dark web. Don't trust them, scam scam scam, but you
have to be so careful. You just never you never know.
And I've actually hung up on real people who were
calling me about actual accounts I have because I thought
they were scams, like credit card stuff, and I'm like,

(13:43):
I believe you, and I hang up on them, and
they'll email me and say, no, you really really tried
to call you were really your bank? We need you
to verify that. I'm like, no, I'm not verifying what
you're sting. No, I'm not telling you that, but this
is real. And then you find out it's real and
you're like, we have your jacket. I don't believe you. Know.
This guy calls up and says, hey, guys, Pete to
Anthony scary please. I'm like, who's calling and I deflect.

(14:09):
I'm like, no, it's not him, yeah six, yeah, exactly, Okay,
Well I can't talk to him. What's this about? What's
his reference to? I'm sorry, I can't talk to you,
so I'm thinking it's a scam. I'm trying to call
this guy out. I hang up on he calls back
looking for me again, finally find come to find out
it's my dry cleaners. Yourself right, it's a very important

(14:32):
stealth tweet Jacket's private account for who you are. I'm like, yeah,
I'm gonna think you're some robotcall dude, Yeah, there is
some guy he's on Like he's very entertaining to watch.
He'll like answer people on email and try to get
them to say, please stop emailing us. He's who I
am today? Yeah? Good? And don't see Italy where see it?
