(01:04):
What would you talk about on your on your podcast
firms show mother could just stand here, not say a
word and get insulted. Yeah, I mean, I mean, I'm
not even doing anything to incite and insult you know

(01:25):
what I'm saying. But that's how t is with you. Yeah,
great Tea was just giving out a hand to say,
I'm not ending out compliment. You walk into the room
and you started handing out compliments to everybody about what
they're wearing today. You know what we all do. We
all kind of like float these these words that you know,
make people analyze and think that's what's going on, you know,
instead of saying, like, you know, great Teams and I

(01:46):
our our our buddies. Man, we're we're just you know,
kind of having fun with each other. And he said this,
He says, oh, man, he's throwing insults. So immediately people
their guard goes up. Is being insulted, and he's being
insulted by Greg Team, Great Team, He's deaf a hole.
Let's way a massage things. Okay, so we'll reset the
button in the way that you say it and use words. Okay,

(02:06):
all right, so before the podcast, yeah, explain to everybody
what you were doing. I was me and you were
just being boys and I'm hanging out and I'm going,
oh my god, Danielle, I love your blouse. It looks
like if I went to Barnes and Noble and I
went into the art section and I opened up one
of those art art books with colored pencils. That's like
a sandwich, now, isn't it. No, that's what it looks like,

(02:26):
does it not? It actually kind of does look like
an adult coloring book. Yeah, he's marbled the black and
white marble. It's very pretty, dott it yesterday boxing, very pretty.
That looks cool. And then I said, Nate, very cool,
man like, very like that. Ease relaxed, right, he's dressed
nice jeans and Greg Tea's compliments feel really good because

(02:47):
he doesn't hand him out frivolously. And what did you think?
I am what I am? You know, But what did
you say to Scary? I said, Scary, you're all dressed
up for no apparent reason for for Demni Lovato, who
couldn't care less that you're wearing a button down shirt,
like trying too hard? And by the way, how is
that not insulting me? Yeah, it's not insulting. How is
it two currents like just joking around with each other?

(03:09):
Because if it's if I was insulting you, then I
wouldn't like you and I'd be like, dude, you look
like an idiot, Like that's me. But that's all I'm saying.
I'm like, dude, we're bet we're boys. I'm like, yo, man,
why are you dressed up like that? Funny? His shirt
is nice and honestly, it's not like I don't feel
like it's a button down shirt. I don't feel like
he's not wearing a three piece suit talking about yet.

(03:29):
And it's a very odd and it's a mainstream button
down shirt because it's white with like red hearts or diamonds.
Really mainstream that red with white like that would be
like Valentine's Day, Christmas. It's dead of August and you
wear in some shirt that looks like you don't look
like a Peppermint Patty shirt. D Squared shirt. I think
he bought it just because Elvis loves D Squared and
he wanted to be like, but I don't selt Squared

(03:50):
and coals, so I don't I wouldn't will to get
those sex again. People like me are shot at Sacks.
I got a penny. This is the only reason why
I have this is because in a normal world, I
would not be able to afford the Squared. But it
was on the clearance rack, and I was proud of myself.
Normally I buzz by clearance racks. I sift through stuff
and like, well, I can't see I can't buy any

(04:12):
of this. This is probably the first clearance rack item
that I've ever purchased in my entire life. Yeah, and
I gotta no Mr. Medium Bucks because I although I
overpaid for it what you normally paid for shirt, I
actually it was on clearance, it was sent off, so
how much was the retail prices? And by the way,

(04:32):
that's not true that our listeners don't shop at places
like Sacks Sacks off fifth, it's probably one of the
biggest places that a female shop, not strum rack. All
of these, one of the fifth is one of the
places that we we like to show. Going back to
the original argument, how is this you said that that's

(04:52):
just boys being boys, right, But by you saying it
the way you said it, which is exactly your you
did it exactly the same way you liked your make
your sound self like a victim. No, no, but but
I think that the I thought will make him a victim. Boys,
isn't just coming out and insulting him. That's not an insult.

(05:12):
We're joking with each other. He could be like, hey, man,
I hate your sneakers are ugly. That just mean him
being friends. I will say this. I will say this,
I joke around with my friends. I can make fun
of my fun of my friends, and if my friends
make fun of me, great, because I feel you can
joke with someone if you're friends with them. I didn't
take it as a joke. It was slightly more caustic.

(05:35):
I guess the tone why. And it goes one way too,
because if Scary were to ever come back at Greg T,
Greg T doesn't welcome you. Really aren't the reciprocal of
a joke. At times, I love recipient. You could. You
can dish it, but you can't take it most of
the time. Is that right? That is correct? So that's
why I don't joke around with you as much. But listen,
if you would have been like, hey, scary, where'd you

(05:56):
get that? You got the Salvation Army? That was sure,
and that would be a funny funny to me, that's
two guys joking around with each other. Okay, what I
already said, it looks like peppermin patties. I mean, what
do you want me to say? I mean you you
threw the accusatory finger that I did this specifically to
impress Demi Lavando couldn't give a ship. But that is true.
De Lavando came here to see Elvis and talk to her,

(06:18):
and you dressed up like, hey, look at me. He's
in the room and he wants to make a good impression.
And then so there's nothing wrong with him putting on
a nicer us in the room. He didn't make a
good impression. Oh you you're okay, You're earlier compliment just
got through that the window. The fact that I don't

(06:40):
give a ship. I think I look good in his shirt,
social muscles, You have good muscles. Tone, I like your
didn't give a ratch. He don't give a zero. Devo's
gonna try to say, oh, I hope he asked me
for my phone number. Never. You never know she's not
coming in your God is single. How do you know

(07:05):
that she wouldn't find Scary or or or Nate attract him.
You don't know that. I'm just saying she's not coming
in here with that in mindless guy that works out. Yeah,
I didn't say that. I said she's coming in here
to do a job. Hit on. To be honest, you though,
you every single morning Scary stands making his coffee and

(07:28):
I passed him this morning. I give him a little
rib about the Mets Yankee game. But every every morning,
you find some way to say something mean to. That's
the way you start in the morning. We're using the
words like mean, quote unquote mean. We're just trying to

(07:48):
shape the top me. And let's let's tell you what's
not shape it that way. Don't use words like mean.
I'm not being mere. We're being boys. We're throwing jabs
each other. We always I mean, he could have been
wearing one of his Brooklyn shirts, but he didn't. He
went with one of his button down You not being
mean the day there's the word quote unquote me. Okay,

(08:09):
were not being mean, just be using quotes on the radio.
Let's watch the vocabulary that we used to Okay, were
we were? We being boys? The morning I was wearing
my McDonald's hash brown hoodie and you came into me
and said, you look like a fucking moron, you wearing
Hamburgers and hash browns like you big dummy. You should

(08:31):
be ashamed of yourself that if I didn't like you,
I wouldn't even talk to you. I wouldn't even acknowledge it.
You're talkin your face exactly. I told you, Yeah, but
if there's a way of joking around, it's a way
of being I'm gonna use the M word. But you
know what he says. You never grew up like in
an attorney house. You didn't have a bunch of attorney
brothers like I did. I had forty. They did, right,
and that's why me and they could do that with

(08:52):
each other. And we totally get it. I chime in,
but I'm not dressed well enough to partake in this conversation. A. Yeah,
I'm sorry, I'm not dressed. Hold on, Nate, have we
not me and you said to each other? Dude, we're
so good like dude, you want to yell at me,
I'm fine. I can yell you. We're totally good to
each other because we're used to it. We're like, we're
like guys they hung out for a turney houses. You're
used to it. You're very sensitive, dude. You lived in

(09:14):
a room with your brother. I mean, what is that
to do? You never go out? Do you understand the
way you talk? Sometimes the way to start somebody's day
off with a positive How about you find something positive
about Scary And if not, it's like you walk up

(09:34):
to him every morning You're like, hey, you look like shit.
I think I've a little bit of effort in today.
I think I look pretty damn good today. One thing,
dare you want to look good? I didn't exactly said
that I put you're accusing me of putting too much
effort in for a guest. We're all going to be
on camera, and I'm just trying to be a little
bit more. I didn't say that you didn't look good.

(09:56):
I never used those words. I mean, if the audience
listening to pay attention right now, they know that I
did not say you didn't look good. You didn't say
he did. There was no reason to dress up, Demi's
not looking at you like, oh, my god, Hope didn't.
He didn't want to do it because he thought she
was going to go out with him. He did it
because they were cameras in the room. He knew he
was going to be on cameras. Wanted to be Beth.

(10:19):
Look at all of us, none of us here dressed up,
none of us. I mean, you look like a coloring book.
He looks like a nice an adult coloring the mover
right now, that's me. That's me. All that wait, I
need it in the nicest way because we're buds. Know
when you use an inflammatory word that you are dialogue myself?

(10:51):
What do you look like? What do I look at?
You look like a schlub. I'm wearing I'm wearing old
man sneakers. Look at these things. Oh my god, those sneaker.
And you know why I warm today because I went
running yesterday and my turf toe is killing. Here's the
thing with Here's the thing with celebs. Elvis always says,
when the celebs come here, this is their house, right Like,

(11:13):
we don't go around asking for autographs. We don't try
to take some pictures of them. It's gotta be brote,
I guess. But I mean we don't really try to
go get that. You know, like they're here, they're home,
they're safe. Right Well, none of us are trying to
hit on that, except when Megan Trainer was here because
you were convinced, well, Megan Trainer would have dropped everything
to marry you. We are on the radio for purpose.
We have faces for radio for for a purpose. That's

(11:34):
what we do. We don't need to dress up and
be someone that we're not coming and wear the clothes
that you're gonna wear. That's it, that's what you should
do because we should all we should all buy by
that simple rule that because we'll make the guests feel
more comfortable. Is that what you're saying. We're in the
radio station. Levana left here and said, look at those
ugliest sneakers that great Tea has you have to wear.

(11:56):
That's the only way to to beat his theory right here,
because I have to be consistent and be the button
down guy every day. Why do you have to prove
anything to him? Did you put cologne on? What is
he black? Mr? Blackwell, did you put cologne on? Well?
Why not? I mean it should go with the whole motif.
I mean, you got to the nice jee nice shoes
you want to allow with the shirt? Why stopped there?

(12:18):
Remember we tried to do this and nobody ever did it.
Remember the guys of the Morning show, We're gonna wear
suits one day, just to prove that we can dress
up and not have it be a special affair, special occasion.
Can you dress up in suits and stuff? But just
another day at the office. Why don't we all come
in in suits? And he hates dressing? Want we suit?
I don't know this from the guy wear square toad

(12:40):
shoes like Frankenstein. Okay, see, but that was a joke
and Jim I wasn't being okay, We're here's the way
I can handle that. God, Nate, that was mean. That's
an example of two guys. That's an example of way
to massage. The words they're used that you use to
manipulate the audience. But but that's what you're doing. You're

(13:01):
manipulating the audience when you when you come on like
a wet towel, like great Team made fun of me today,
and then Daniel goes, well you're mean to him, Greg
t what happens? It's like right here, youre spotlight on
great Tea. He's mean but you are you have no
kissing me when he made fun of my sheet, You're malicious.
Sometimes malicious words like that means, of course i'm purpose

(13:27):
that I'm being mean on purpose. That's not malicious. Yes, Garrett,
you see what he has on his shirt. But when
he polka dots, you know some metal things like I
don't know what that do you know how the polo
shirt has the polo the guy on the horse. Yeah,
and they have John Varvados has the two fingers up. Yeah.
I guess this is d squares like signature thing. It's

(13:47):
like a metal plate that's on the shot. I don't
like that. I'll be honest. I like the shirt. I
don't like that. If that was on the bottom, it
would be I should just cut it off. I think
I would off. I wouldn't keep. I'll take it off. Sure,
it looks great, looks good on you. It's really good fit. Yeah, yeah,
but I just don't like. Don't don't you cut it
off because you might make a hole? Have like you're

(14:07):
so clumsy, you can't do anything right, giving great advice
and you can't even cut that off. You're all thumbs.
You're all thumbs. You can't do anything. You're such a clue.
Should we try to be nicer to people? Since the
world is in a crazy place right now? You know
I like that. How don't we walking and be nice?

(14:28):
Going so awesome? Tomorrow you find something positive about scary
and give him a compliment. We'll see how that feels. Now,
go around the room. Actually, we've got a minute left.
Go around. Tell something positive about I'm an extremely positive
person to say. Okay, fine, so positive scary? No, no,

(14:49):
start with me. Go around the room and we's scary? Yeah, Garrett,
about your guy who looks or your personality anything? You're
a nice guy man, Good to talk to you. Good
contract the heart. I mean, Danielle, I I do like
your shirt. It looks like I can't help, but I
want to color it, you know, uh, Nate, I think
your your scruff is cool. I like it scary scary.

(15:13):
I'm sorry, I can do this. I can give you
a second. I'm waiting. Okay, let me let me let
me see your shots. I got, I got you know what?
You and I have the same pair of these. No,
you don't, I do not hands right, fans are knife
I've been wearing vans. I've been seven years old. I'll

(15:36):
tell you about saying you weren't. I'm telling state boarder
from way back, I got you. That has nothing to
do with this. For the compliment, I'm wearing black and
white slip on class classic slip on. Hold on, I
got a need more time to think of something. We
have twenty four hours to the next freaking teen minute
