(01:04):
on your podcast? Fern Elvis represents, Here we go. It's
gonna be a doozy, don't you feel it? You just
know when the podcast is gonna be so left up
(01:24):
here we go. I'm Elvis, of course. Around the table
today we have Bethany, we have Scary, we have Dave Brody,
we have Garrett, we have Danielle and yeah whatever day
or night. And we have great team the front boy, Hey,
good morning, guys. Great food. So anything out of the
people are just listed, who do you think is going
to totally it up? Absolutely great? I'm looking forward to it,
(01:50):
you know to this. You know, great team has these
things we call greg gasms where he gets enthusiastic about
some things that deserve enthusiasm and a lot of things
that don't. He just gets crazy like you're gonna you're
gonna burst an artery. Because what I don't like sometimes
is when when people, when things are advertised everywhere, they
only tell one side. They're not telling the second side
(02:11):
of it. Okay, let's let's qualify this. So there's a
movie out this weekend called seven about two shark divers
or two divers that are in a cage. They're lowered
into the water, into the ocean, and then something happens.
The chain snaps and there their shark cage goes all
the way to the bottom of the ocean. Twenty or
forty down is the name of the movie exactly. So
(02:35):
it's all about them fighting for their lives, the sharks
and the depth of the ocean. Whatever. So you saw
the previews, Danielle. First of all, you saw the previews
and you thought, what, I couldn't breathe, Like I'm sitting
there trying to catch my breath, thinking, oh my gosh,
if I go see this movie, I'm going to be
the whole the whole time, I'm gonna be sitting there
trying to breathe because I feel like I'm suffocating on
(02:56):
what that's what you got out of it? So what
did you get out of it? Great tea want to say,
that's what America wants. They want people like daniel to go,
oh my god, it's a crazy movie. I've got to
go see this movie. They don't want you to see.
What's the problem because on the surface, it's like this
new Jaws movie. But if you really think about on
the surface, the surface correct. But I've done some research
(03:20):
on it, and I've read up on a lot of
professional divers and how angry they are, and I want
to be their voice because nobody's stopping to listen to this.
People cannot just fall to the ground in the ocean
forty seven meters regular people and like all of a
sudden survive. Here's what happens. A when you go down
that deep, it's dark, there's no sunlight. You can't see
(03:40):
anything at that depth. Secondly, the water below is so
cold you can get frost bite within four minutes if
you don't have any kind of scooba gear on. So
Manny Moore should be freezing down there. Okay, there's another thing.
They're now gonna share their respirator. They're gonna give it
back and forth. They're they're gonna go there, you take
(04:02):
some air, you take Only trained professionals know how to
do that. Next, when they try to swim to the top,
every professional diver knows every you gotta stop and like
do the thing with your nose. You you get the
bends exactly, So you gotta do that, you can just
swim to the top. First of all, can we just
take a moment to calm down? Why does this hea
(04:23):
you all mad? Is it? Because it's just not accurate.
It's not even close to accurate. But what happens is
they're shocking us. They're taking what they're doing, they're taking
our vision away from what's really going on and focusing
our vision on sharks. And they're making Because here's what
do people really care about? Can I get my kid
to baseball practice? Can I take my daughter to dance practice?
(04:44):
I gotta put a roof over my head? And you
know what, Wow, we have a couple extra buckstar pocket.
Let's go to the movies. That's it. That's all people
really care about. No one really stops think it's a
movie though. In movies they embellish the truth all the time.
And that's what that's what all the would want you
to do. I think I'm just as pissed because in
the movie Alien Covenant, right, those aliens they're larger than
(05:07):
they are in real life. They made them bigger for
the movie. Right, You can't shoot them with a regular gun.
Everyone knows that. Okay, here's here's my question to you, Gregory, Gregory,
I'm just trying. I'm trying to understand your logic. Why
are you mad? Why does this anger you? Because nobody
stops anymore to really think about what's really going on. Nobody.
(05:28):
But we're not watching National Geographic, We're not watching this
movie to learn the facts about about diving. And it
takes two seconds just to stop and stop thinking about
our little ones in car pooling and and whether we
can go out and get a quick drink or if
it's ladies night and whatever? Or is he gonna call me?
Is he not gonna call me? Stop? But isn't isn't
that the point of movies is like to get us
(05:48):
out of our hesitating what's happening knows where you're walking
around with the line doesn't make movies? No, but don't understand.
We are all all of us. But I don't understand.
Why are you mad? You're not telling me why you're
so upset as we're all getting caught up in like
not we're not thinking anymore, we're not really focusing our
attention on real issues and real things anymore. Maybe more
(06:09):
can't go to the bottom of the after after seeing
Jaws when I was a kid, and I had a
fear of my green carpeting in my room because I
thought carpet sharks were gonna get me. I started doing
research on sharks. I watched Shark Week all the time.
If they made a movie of great white sharks that
don't travel impacts and don't really bother people unless they're
threshing around and they only bite people by mistake because
they think maybe they're a seal on a surfboard, were right,
(06:31):
they look like a seal. If they made that movie,
no one would be attacked. They would just swim slowly
to the surface, and you would be pissed there was
no action. Yea, Yet I just don't understand why you're mad.
You do you can't answer my question, why does this
make you mad? I think that people are just walking
around every single day just not thinking about what's real anymore. Like,
(06:56):
but I don't want to go to the movie and
think about the crap in my life. I want to
go in a want to go to the movie to
get away from the crabit. But it all it goes.
It comes into my next subject about chicken, and you know,
like alright, wants to say something, so you want to
be the forefront for for shark divers and scuba divers. Right,
you just said you want to be the voice because
nobody's listening to professional. Last time you went shark diving,
(07:19):
I don't go do that. I'm not a professional. How
do you know all this information? I've done some research.
I googled it. But why is it making you mad?
Google it? But why is it making you mad? Because
it's not really because you're you seriously, you're destroying it
for the people because it's all about the suspension of dispeloe. Okay,
let's go to Chicken Chicken. But just what I'm saying,
you've all taken life so like, well, I just care
(07:41):
about doing this. I just care about that. Nobody's caring
about recycling movies to get away from scitality. That's what
you went to Wonder Woman and started doubting the existence
of Amazon's or did you just enjoy the movie? No,
but that's different. We all know that's a comic book,
wonder Woman. But but what scuba diving? You know, peasibly
could be real? Okay, you're you're it could be in
(08:02):
per se you know I've heard. But maybe what I'm
hearing you Greg t say, is if you're going to
do a movie like this, it needs to be based
on fats and that maybe they're bending the rules of sky,
of of of diving a little bit. Exactly big deal.
But it goes right into my chicken theory. Okay, into
(08:23):
the chicken theory. So I've elevated my theory of chicken.
En my my theories of chicken have completely Wait, I've
changed the whole thing. Now you gotta see this what
was going on with chicken? Okay? And it goes right
into it again with us just walking around with blinders on.
All we care about about the chickenne okay, So here's
what have a chicken? So when you let's just say,
(08:45):
in the morning, you go to a diner, you sit down,
you order chicken sausage. Okay, you don't know where the
dinner get the chicken from. Hold on, Now you go
for lunch and you go, you know, I'm really on
a roll. I'm gonna eat, I'm manat healthy, I'm gonna
go to a salad store. You go to a salad store,
and what would you like in your chicken? And I mean,
what would you like your salad? And say, of grilled chicken.
You don't know where that salad got their chicken from.
Then you go to a fast food place and you
(09:05):
order chicken because your kids will need to eat something quick,
and you get chicken. You've now had three things in
your body that you are considering chicken. What chicken has
really become is the general term for I've just eaten better. No,
it's not, because you don't know where all these different
chickens are coming from. So you don't know how each
company is actually manufacturing their chicken and how they're putting
(09:27):
what kind of GMOs or um or antibiotics into their chickens.
So your body is now eating three different types of
what's called meat, not chicken. They're giving you that titled chicken,
but you really don't know. And now we're in your body.
People are getting sick and they're not really seeing what's
going on, because what's really happening in the world is
(09:50):
all we care about again is can I pay my mortgage,
can take my kids the basketball practice? Can I go
get Oh my god, I have to go on a date.
I have to go to this. No one's really stopping
and thinking about what's really going on. Here to that point,
to that point, Uh yeah, we do live in a
world of blind faith, where we we hope that when
we get into the back of a car they're not
going to crash. We hope that when we walk down
(10:12):
the street a bus is not going to hit us.
We hope that when we eat chicken that the the
laws put into place by our government are keeping us
safe in the way they produce a chicken and ship it.
We just hope. And when we put toothpaste on toothbrush,
we hope it doesn't have straight nine in it. And
to all of that or whatever. I want to ask
you a question, Elvis, when you march down the Iowa,
so when you hope it's gonna last? For if you
(10:33):
are the owner of this multibillion dollar company that supplies toothpaste,
do you want to give everyone the best stuff in
their toothpaste or do you want to make enough money
to profit? Well, I think there's a balance. Yeah, but
you're right, But you don't really You're like, let the
dentists and everybody else worry about what they're brushing their
teeth with. I'm making what's called toothpaste, and the government
(10:55):
allows me to classify it. Let people answer. I have
a question. Yes, do you think when the hawks are
about to eat people, they worry about whether the people
were healthy and h GMOs or they just eat the
chicken the people in the ocean blindly the sharks think
that guy looks healthy, I'm gonna eat him. Now I'm
trying to cut back. I'm not gonna eat the fat guy.
Or they just eat the fat guy. I'm just saying
that everything that we do, whether it's toothpaste, beer or chicken,
(11:17):
is alls are about the sharks. Don't you guys understand
nobody eat more healthier than eating the fat guy. Driving
the different brands of spring water out there, there really
that many springs in the world. How do you sleep?
Just for the sake of hold on, you need to relax.
Your engine is about to explode. Let's go around the room. Yes, scary.
I just wanted to say this the first part of
(11:38):
this podcast, I thought you're absolutely nuts, But I think
you're on something with chicken. Doctor Oz did an entire
week about chicken, and there is ways because a lot
of times the chicken all share a bath when they're
cleaning them. You get your chicken air chilled organic chicken
and you and it doesn't it's free to run around
the farm. Those are the best types of chicken, Sabay. So, yes,
you are right there. You have a point. But chicken
(11:59):
is creative. Know but according to Great Tea, just because
they say they're organic, free range chicken doesn't mean they
really are. You know, Bethany, what do you have to
say about any of this? I tuned out for the
first like ten minutes. Now I'm back. Welcome back, Thank you, reincarnated,
thank you. Um. I actually agree with what he says
(12:21):
about the chicken. I think that, you know, we have
to be more aware of what we're putting into our bodies,
and we need to really read labels and be aware
of where our food comes from, especially when it comes
to meat, especially the way it's raised. Um. So, I
don't disagree with you on that. I think it's actually
pretty insightful. The fact that you say you eat chicken
three times a day, You're putting three different things into
your body. Because I don't know, I'll just take it
(12:41):
for granted. You just you just open up and eat it,
because you just you just accept what they tell you
to be true. I agree with that, Okay, but nobody's
stopping to think about all of this stuff. People are
stopping to think about that. That's not true. This is
these have been making headlines, especially the meat industry and
the way they raise animals. Are they being raised humanely? No,
this has been big news. Now you need to read
(13:01):
the news because what you're yelling about is in fact
being discussed by millions of people. Millions. I think that
we've entered millions a a a time and error. I
don't know. We're like, it's all about quick buck with everything,
it's always been that. What wasn't it about you? What
about you? Garrett? What's on your mind? I think we
covered another conspiracy that he has because he said chicken,
(13:24):
he said water, and then he said beer. Which the
problem with when that comes into the yeast play. I mean,
you don't even know what sure to get consent from
both parties before you really think about it. Recently, I've
been working in my basement. Basement is going to be yeast. No,
he doesn't know. It's not fair you think of infection. Okay,
(13:49):
well hold on, I say people need to be people
need to be heard. Yet, yes, Daniel, No, I'm just
saying I just think of infection. Alright, and Garrett, you
have one more thing before he goes off. Garrett is
speaking Garrett co. I'm just concerned to eat so much chicken,
because he says he went for chicken sausage for breakfast
and he had chicken for lunch and chicken for dinner.
So he's his own fault for recently, I've been getting sick,
(14:11):
and I go, why am I getting sick? Because because
it's different, because it's not really real chicken could be
poisoning your body with what you're eating. Your your decisions
could be causing a problem, or could be the cigarettes
you smoke. I do not smoke cigarettes. But listen to me,
so resum in the basement, working right, And that's what
I'm getting a lot of these thoughts because also what's
happening is I need to use the screws. So I
(14:32):
go to the store and buy screws the hardware store.
Do you know that one of my screws, and not
even want to st two or three have actually cracked
when I turned it. Now, you go back thirty years ago,
any contract, it will tell you they're screws never cracked.
Because it's not just food it's everything around us is
being made cheaper to make a better baseball bats crack
(14:54):
every five seconds. They never used to do. Guys, everybody
Elvis the whole show. Don't we here? Were just and
you just said, she goes yes, but we know that.
But what's being done? Nobody there? Because again, all people
care about how can I get my kid on the
best team? Wow? Can I go do that? I need
to go get a raise, I need to go put
a roof over my head. No one's stopping to really
think about this, and the government everybody knows this. No
(15:17):
one really cares. They want to know, Can I get
my donut? Can I get my bagel? Can I get
my coffee? Can I get to work? Can I go
through easy pass? That's all people care about anymore? Has
it been fifteen minutes the end? It feels like it's
been longer. About thirty seconds left. Look, I think a
lot of people will share your frustration. Yes. I think
screaming at people raises people's blood pressure and it makes
(15:37):
us not want to hear what you have to say.
I think if you wish to be an advocate for
healthier food and stronger screws divers, you I think if
you could find a way to express this to the
people who are in charge, I think it would make
more sense. I need to talk to my congressman. Oh yeah,
that'll work. Fifteen minute morning show
