Speaker 1 (00:00):
Elvis Duran in the morning.

Speaker 2 (00:01):
Show We Love It, We Love It with Rob Shooter
shows up. So you're talking about where you live downtown
close to me.

Speaker 1 (00:08):
I do.

Speaker 2 (00:10):
Every time you go to the CBS the drug store
to get like something to make your cough go away.
You're sneezing flu like symptoms. But you can't get to
the pharmacy because.

Speaker 1 (00:21):
I can't, Elvis, because every gay guy in Chelsea is
on ozen pic is a lie the block. I'm sneezing,
I'm coughing, I'm genuinely quite sick, and I can't get
in to get my prescription. Thank you. But all these
gay guys in friends of me look fabulous. They've all
lost forty pounds. I'm very happy for you, but I'm

(00:41):
still sneezing. Thank you very much. CBS. Well, I'm only
down eleven pounds. You look good.

Speaker 3 (00:45):
Well, I'm on my way. How much do you want
to go? I need to lose like fifty thousand more pounds.

Speaker 4 (00:50):
You do not, but like, go to the grocery store,
pick up eleven pounds of meat and you'll be like, wow.

Speaker 1 (00:55):
Yeah, amazing, I think I will, But that would make
you want to lose it.

Speaker 2 (00:59):
Like Oprah wheelacken fat. Remember that when Oprah wheeled her fellow, she.

Speaker 5 (01:05):
Talks about how miserable she was when she did that.

Speaker 6 (01:08):
Oh, when's the last time you picked up eleven pounds
of meat? When's the last time you were in town? Froggy?
I wish I had you know what I think if
one of those was eleven pounds, it would not be fun.

Speaker 4 (01:19):
No eleven pounds, No, apologize, it's a loin.

Speaker 1 (01:27):
What's carry problem than the opposite one? Though?

Speaker 3 (01:30):
Oh, speaking up, you would no, no, no, no no.

Speaker 2 (01:32):
Speaking of we have a blind item from Rob Shooter,
you must start with that.

Speaker 1 (01:38):
Let's do it. There was most delicious, delicious ones. So
if you don't know what a blind item is, it's
an item where I give you all the details, but
I leave out the celebrity name, primarily because I don't
want to get sued. So like, it's a legal issue
that we camouflage in this delicious title of blind items.
So what do you which big tall, very hunky football

(02:02):
player is not so large when he gets naked in
the bedroom.

Speaker 5 (02:07):
Oh, I know it is, Chad?

Speaker 4 (02:13):
What No way? If we've I guess it right, you're
not gonna.

Speaker 1 (02:17):
Tell us I can't, but I can sort of give
you a nod. But he's been in the news a
lot recently.

Speaker 3 (02:21):
Tom Tom Brady. Of course that's another good name.

Speaker 4 (02:24):
Is it a former football player or a current football player?

Speaker 1 (02:26):
I love a detail. Now. I thought you were all
going to say Travis, but he's a former football player.

Speaker 3 (02:36):
I was going to say, does it rhyme with Crevis Telsey?
But I guess not not.

Speaker 1 (02:39):
Him, Elvis.

Speaker 4 (02:41):
I think Tom.

Speaker 2 (02:41):
Okay, okay, okay, let's say it's not a blind idem
and you just said Tom Brady. Just just for instance,
who's who's going to sue you for saying that their
penis is too small?

Speaker 1 (02:52):
It's not the nicest thing to say. And so maybe
mister Brady, maybe whoever it could be, I would know
what that is. One of the worst person to actually
do this. Items. I didn't know this football player at all.
But the clue is, I mean, if he's having sex
with with people, then he must be single because we
know about that. So there's another clue there.

Speaker 2 (03:13):
He's he's single, But you're saying he apologizes, well whilst
in the bedroom.

Speaker 1 (03:21):
I have a friend who had a moment with him
a little bit of a romantic romanment and before Scotty
b and I thought they did, before they did the deed,
there was like a little bit of a you know,
a conversation about this mine. He apologized for it. I
think he's sort of subtly you think though, But I

(03:44):
think when you see these people, these celebrities, once they
take the clothes off, they're regular people. So I think
a lot of celebrities might.

Speaker 2 (03:52):
Say that you shouldn't apologize for the size of your thing.

Speaker 1 (03:55):
Well, I do think you should give a clue though,
Should you give a clue? A heads up?

Speaker 4 (03:58):
Now? It's because one one person small as another person's
totally fine.

Speaker 7 (04:05):
Right, someone's phone, that's me, Spencer's calling me from England.

Speaker 1 (04:10):
Ask him what's going on Kate Middleton? I need more
gossip speaking of let's got to keep Middleton right, tons
of gossips. So Kate recovering well, I'm told she's doing
she's doing really well. We're not going to see her
for a while. I think after that video we've all
laid laid off Kate a little bit. The big question
now is not necessarily her health, her physical health, but

(04:30):
her mental health and does she want to go back
to this job that she clearly was a little bit
over and so my sources are telling me we might
see a very different role for Kate where she takes
on a role where she turns up. She's not, she's
not leaving the family. She's not pulling a Megan Markle.
But I don't think we're going to see as much
as Kate moving forward. This ultimately is a country girl.

(04:53):
She likes being in the country with her dogs and
her horses and her family and being in London and
going to events. It sounds glittering and amos right, but
it can be a little bit of a ball and
particularly if you're a little bit reserved like Kate is.
And so I think moving forward, maybe we're not going
to see Kate out there quite as much, which makes
me sad, but it makes me happy that she's figuring
out how to make this job work for her.

Speaker 3 (05:15):
I love that good question. I always liked her.

Speaker 1 (05:17):
I like her.

Speaker 3 (05:18):
What's your question?

Speaker 4 (05:19):
Okay, So, after all the things that we're seeing now,
with Kate being ill, the father being ill, all of
these secrets behind the scenes, do you think Harry and
Meghan did the right thing by leaving.

Speaker 1 (05:30):
I think they did the right thing by leaving nothing
to do with what we're seeing now, because it was
right for them. It just wasn't going to work. What
they wanted to do was change a thousand year old
monarchy and it's very set in its way. And if
you've ever worked for a company, any company that's been
around a long time, when you rock up, you have
to carefully change the direction of the ship. Meghan did

(05:53):
a U turn and they were very sort of concerned
about that. But I think the way it was all
handled was horrible. I wish it could have been better,
but I think that this was never ever going to
work out. The good news is, though, Megan's now onto
her next project and she's released her first product from
her sort of goopee collection. It's a rustic jam. I
don't know what that really means. Erotic jam, rustic jam

(06:17):
like you put on your toast, what flavor? I thought
they might be old berries, like old dirty berries, like
your blind It's rustic because apparently it's full of a hearty,
rustic flavor. But she sent this jam out to influencers
and celebrities in LA. A couple of people I know

(06:39):
have received it. It's beautifully packaged and moving forward. I
think she's going to do more and more food stuff.
I imagine aprons. I'd love a Dutchess apron. I'd love
a rolling pin.

Speaker 5 (06:49):
They have like I think they both have deals.

Speaker 1 (06:52):
They do have deals. Don't feel bad. They're going to
make a fortune. It was just released too that his
book is one of the best selling biographies of all time.
He made about twenty seven million dollars and because of that,
he's working on book number two.

Speaker 2 (07:06):
There you go by the way more with Rob Shooter.
On the way, we got to talk about Surrey turning eighteen.
Of course that's Tom Cruises and the Tom Cruise and Katie,
Katie homes brain Fart, their their daughter. We've met her
many times. She comes to jingle Ball every year.

Speaker 1 (07:22):
Doesn't it.

Speaker 2 (07:23):
We see grow up at jingle Bol fabulous. Also, you
were talking earlier, Danielle about Katy Perry leaving Idol. Yeah,
are they begging her on their knees?

Speaker 5 (07:33):
O Katie, I wonder how much money she could get.

Speaker 1 (07:35):
Can you imagine?

Speaker 5 (07:36):
It's you know, it's so crazy.

Speaker 7 (07:38):
I remember when Katy Perry first came on the scene
and she and I were having a discussion about her
wardrobe and she couldn't afford clothes, and she said, yeah, well,
my friend's a stylist and I borrow the clothes and
she gives them to me. And this was before she
could afford anything, and now she.

Speaker 3 (07:52):
Can afford it.

Speaker 5 (07:53):
She is right in her own tickets.

Speaker 4 (07:55):
I love you, you afford it. She doesn't have to
buy it exactly.

Speaker 2 (08:01):
Those stories are more on the way, don't go, Are
you got to stay? Hey, Sean, giving me back to
what you're talking about, all the God or the Gustip
whatever you want to know, ask away. Oh okay, let's
move on to.

Speaker 4 (08:13):
What what Who are they trying to free?

Speaker 1 (08:16):
Now? Oh, it's a good story, isn't it. So that
that documentary on Britney Spears Freeing Britney Spears, it became
a huge deal. It really started to set off this
whole debate about her conservatory ship. It was done by
really smart people. They're focusing on a new celebrity, a
very controversial celebrity at the moment, P Diddy. That's then, Oh.

Speaker 4 (08:37):
Wow, are they trying to free Diddy?

Speaker 1 (08:40):
I don't know if they're going to free him. Okay,
I don't know if they're going to frame him. I
don't know if they're going to do either, but I
know that he's going to be the subject matter of
this huge new documentary.

Speaker 3 (08:50):
They're going to do it. Yeah, okay, what a story.

Speaker 2 (08:53):
What about Katy Perry Daniel was talking earlier about how
she's leaving Idle for sure, but you've heard more.

Speaker 1 (08:59):
Yeah, Katie is not only a magnificent performer, she's also
a magnificent business person. She knows how to do this,
and so when she announced on television that she was
leaving Idle a couple of months ago, everybody at the
show was surprised. They did not know this was happening,
and they found it quite curious because at the same time,

(09:20):
Katie and her people were in talks renegotiating her contract. Now,
this is something celebrities do quite a lot, and maybe
not even celebrities. Maybe you can try this at work too.
I hope it works out. Is that if you if
you say you're leaving, sometimes maybe you get a little
bit more money to stay. And so even though Katie
it looks like she's out the door, it's not over

(09:42):
yet and the show really want her to stay. I
think she fills that seat really well. And there's been
so much change with Idyll over the years, and the
contestants change every season. They like to keep the judges
the same, and I think we can all agree they've
hit their stride. Now this show's back. It feels good.
The numbers are good. They don't want to mess it up.
But maybe they're going to have to open up their

(10:04):
wallets to get.

Speaker 5 (10:04):
Kills because they don't have any money that it doesn't
make any.

Speaker 3 (10:07):
Money, right, they're not doing very well.

Speaker 1 (10:11):
Oh Suri, Cruise, Surry, Happy birthday tomorrow, little Suri, who
we've grown up with eighteen years.

Speaker 2 (10:18):
Oh wow, eighteen years. It's interesting about her. She grew
up on our jingle ball stage. I mean her mom,
Katie Holmes, would bring her to every single jingle Ball
and she would actually get to go on stage and
introduce artists in whatever. Now she's eighteen, eighteen years old.
She doesn't like the spotlight. Though there's a lot of
celebrity kids out there who I think would love to
be as famous.

Speaker 1 (10:37):
As the parents Katie.

Speaker 5 (10:38):
Katie is never really in the.

Speaker 1 (10:39):
Sat that's right, and so I think she's learned from
her mom. We know she's had a very troubled relationship,
if any relationship at all with her father. For the
what past fifteen sixteen years, he's not been in her life.
But now series at the age where she's ready if
she wants to to tell all. She's an adult now,
the child's support payments have stopped, and so now she's

(11:00):
by herself, standing on her feet. That lots of frends
she got a great mom. But the question that people
are debating is will she ever tell all. I don't
think we're going to get a Mommy Dearest type book
of Daddy Dearest, but I do think at some point
she's going to want to step into the spotlight and
the first question any reporter is going to ask her
is about her dad and her relationship with dad and Scientology.

(11:21):
So maybe we're going to find out more about this
very sort of private subject. They've never spoken about it.
Katie will not touch this subject.

Speaker 4 (11:29):
Well, doesn't the church come for you if you do?

Speaker 1 (11:32):
If you? We know that from Leah Remedy, She's still
telling all. She's still telling and Tom's still very much
a member of Scientology. It was rumored eighteen years ago
that that's one of the reasons the marriage didn't last.
Katie did not want Suri to grow up in the church.
She didn't. And so now there's lots of questions, and
I think if she's going to step forward into the

(11:53):
spotlight or do any interviews, and she will, at some point,
she's going to have to have an answer. Will you
remember back.

Speaker 5 (11:58):
When she gave birth to Zuri.

Speaker 7 (12:00):
I was like, she's not allowed to have drugs, because
all scientology, you're not allowed to have drugs when the
baby comes in silence.

Speaker 3 (12:06):
There was signs everywhere noise.

Speaker 5 (12:12):
Do you think that was all true?

Speaker 1 (12:13):
I don't know. I sort of dug a little bit
deep into Scientology back then. Tom Cruise is on the
cover of all the magazines, and so we had to
know a little bit about it. I went to the
Scientology Celebrity Center.

Speaker 2 (12:25):
Yeah, there's a Scientology celebrity Center.

Speaker 1 (12:29):
Obviously I wouldn't have gone if had been a normal person.
The celebrity center loved she got so into it.

Speaker 5 (12:37):
Is that the one in La Around the street, that's.

Speaker 1 (12:39):
The one in La. Yeah, Oh it's beautiful.

Speaker 4 (12:41):
Drive past it.

Speaker 1 (12:42):
I don't know how to drive a murder car, but
I ended up there. It was lovely and there was
so nice to me, and we talked about me, which
I loved doing for two hours and almost became a scientologist.
And if you're listening scientology, let me give you a tip.
On the way out. They sold me that book. I
was furious. Had they given it me for free, I'd

(13:04):
now be a scientologist. Story. I loved it talking about myself.

Speaker 2 (13:08):
The reason you're not a scientology the book show your book.

Speaker 1 (13:13):
Hey, we had a text.

Speaker 2 (13:16):
Rob Shooter by the way has more on the way.
But someone's in a text, So you sound like someone
on the outback commercial.

Speaker 3 (13:23):
Have you heard this? Let's see if it sounds like you.
Our back's going full on?

Speaker 5 (13:27):
I was he starting in a down oound of price
of just sixteen ninety nine into hour so long with me?

Speaker 1 (13:32):
Was he sort of, I'll take it's like I've been
told I sound like day Mega. I mean that's much better.

Speaker 4 (13:39):
Sometimes I hear shades of Stewie.

Speaker 1 (13:42):
There's a little bit. It's unusual accent. I mean I
grew up quite poor, everybody like Oliver Twist, and I
had to like pull myself up and vaccasionally my old
accent slip said, I don't mind, like I get it.
I've got a weird voice. What what you should be
very careful of is I bumped into people and when
they ever somebody says, do you know who you look like?

(14:03):
If the answer is not Brad Pitt, don't tell no,
don't don't don't tell you ever get that?

Speaker 4 (14:09):
I always get a woodland creature.

Speaker 1 (14:12):
Laughing because you see it. Da, No, it's not true.
It's wodland.

Speaker 2 (14:19):
Look at a woodland creature. Do you have any of
the gossipeople else? I have a little bit of gossip
here internally. Close your your ears, Alvist Durant, I hear.

Speaker 1 (14:29):
What are you?

Speaker 3 (14:30):
I hear?

Speaker 1 (14:32):
I hear somebody here has a massive upcoming TV appearance,
which is one of the hardest things for any celebrity
to get.

Speaker 3 (14:46):
I would hear the story.

Speaker 1 (14:48):
So Elvis Durant is going to be on CBS Sunday morning.
