Speaker 1 (00:01):
Today's Daily Highlight from Elvis Duran in the Morning show, Hey,
did we talk.

Speaker 2 (00:06):
About Kim Kardashian losing like over one hundred thousand followers
after she started kind of dissing on Taylor.

Speaker 1 (00:15):
Well, what happened was is that there was an incident
that happened a while ago, and Taylor's talking about it
in her song. And so because the song came out,
now people are unfollowing Kim And I was looking at
her feed almost every comment was something about the song,
and you know.

Speaker 2 (00:32):
So okay, just wondering.

Speaker 3 (00:35):
I think it's so funny.

Speaker 2 (00:36):
Crazy, It is crazy, And I find it funny that
people are so sensitive to other people's social media and
who's following them and who drops them. Yeah, it's so
weird because every time you hear something about some beef
in the entertainment industry, people immediately go to their social
media to see, well, they're beefing with each other. Oh look,

(00:59):
just drop each other now it's on. You know, it
turns into a public thing. Scary, is our local Keep
an eye on h keep an eye on social media tabs? Guy, Right,
But when.

Speaker 4 (01:11):
I find out a celebrity unfollowing another celebrity it's personal
because it takes you have to, actually it has to
crush your mind to go to that person's page and
hit the unfollow button. And actually you're making a statement
the same way that I look about you know, who
follows me? Who one follows me? I'm like, huh, well,
look at this person's following the rest of the show,
but they're not following me.

Speaker 3 (01:31):
Why is that? There's a few.

Speaker 2 (01:33):
People you really you really take time to, like look
at all everyone's followers and who they're following.

Speaker 3 (01:41):
I take stock in it. Yes, okay, yes, and I'm offended.

Speaker 4 (01:45):
You know at certain times, you know, when I see things,
you know, there are people in this building that don't
follow me, but they follow you guys, And I'm like,
what did I do to that person?

Speaker 5 (01:53):
It makes me dot? I don't know, Like sometimes I think,
because have you never had a time where you're surprised
you don't follow someone or all the time? I've also
had time that I know I followed someone, I know
I did not unfollow them, and I'm not following them
any longer. And I'm like, wait a second, I never
unfollowed them. I have no reason to.

Speaker 6 (02:12):
Maybe they've removed you as a follower.

Speaker 5 (02:14):
Can you do that? Yes, yes you can.

Speaker 6 (02:18):
They not somebody, but you can remove them as a follower.

Speaker 2 (02:20):
So it's like and so it turns into a thing, right,
And it's at the end of the day, it's just
social media. But if you put that much stock in it,
like Scary does, and a lot of people do, then
it's a thing.

Speaker 5 (02:32):
You know, what's that?

Speaker 2 (02:32):
Gandhi?

Speaker 6 (02:33):
There are multiple people in this building. I think Diamond
has probably witnessed it more than anyone else. Who approached
me and asked, why are you not following me on Instagram?
And I get so uncomfortable. I don't know them, Like
I don't follow a ton of people. I follow not
a lot, and I do it on purpose because I
want to see the things from the people who I know,
and just getting my feed jumped up with random people

(02:56):
it doesn't mean a lot to me. That's why I
don't follow them. And I wouldn't care if they follow me.

Speaker 4 (03:00):
If you followed them, you see, why don't you just
give them the follow if it's not done.

Speaker 6 (03:03):
Because I don't want it to jump up my feed? Right,
And there are a lot of people problem chunky ass feeds.

Speaker 5 (03:10):
They don't see things that you want to see any longer.

Speaker 6 (03:13):
Yeah, someone's trying to like sell me toothpaste, So I
don't care. I don't want that.

Speaker 4 (03:18):
Well, all I know is I had followed somebody some
one day, and then that person within three days unfollowed me.
So they have one of those third party apps that
you can actually see. Okay, if you have a third
party app that's always auditing followers, I really drive me
in saying, well, we've had people who worked here who
I mean, they were a form letter ready to go

(03:42):
to you if you dropped.

Speaker 2 (03:43):
Them really not me, Yeah, and they would need to.

Speaker 5 (03:46):
Know why you dropped them, like why did you drop me?
A third party app? Tell if you hide somebody's content
so you don't unfollow, you hide.

Speaker 6 (03:55):
Oh I've hidden so many people because I know they
have the unfollow app, So I don't want to have
the conversation, so I just hide.

Speaker 2 (04:03):
So scary. What were you talking about the other day?

Speaker 3 (04:06):
Always about who? About looking at who views your story?

Speaker 5 (04:10):
Exactly?

Speaker 2 (04:10):
So yeah, so that that takes effort, by the way,
to figure out who's been viewing your story.

Speaker 4 (04:15):
I just press the button, then you swipe up, and
then you take a look and then all of a sudden,
you see who's watched it and who has it, and
you don't take a glance at who's watching it.

Speaker 1 (04:24):
I didn't even know you could do that until you
said it. I didn't know you could tell who watched
your son.

Speaker 3 (04:30):
You're the queen of the IG story.

Speaker 2 (04:32):
But I just yeah, but.

Speaker 1 (04:33):
I put it out there and then I leave it alone.

Speaker 6 (04:35):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (04:36):
I don't even.

Speaker 1 (04:37):
Unless like a client or someone says, can you go check?
I don't even know that you. I didn't know you
could tell exactly who looks at it.

Speaker 2 (04:44):
Right, Danielle just posts and posts it in that's end
of story. What's that, Gunny?

Speaker 7 (04:49):
Well?

Speaker 2 (04:49):
Scary?

Speaker 6 (04:49):
You have hundreds of thousands of followers. You scroll through
every single person who has watched your story.

Speaker 4 (04:54):
No, I, but the first half is always the people
that you follow back. So I'm looking to see who
in me a heart? Who gave me a smile?

Speaker 1 (05:02):
Are you? And I didn't even know that that the
first half are the people that you follow.

Speaker 7 (05:07):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (05:07):
I react to people's stories even if I like it.
I might comment back to you like laughing faces or
a fire emoji or something, but I don't heart it.
I just that doesn't mean I didn't like it, you.

Speaker 2 (05:16):
Know what, I just wait, hold on a second. It's
just how can you calculate how many moments of your
day are spent doing all of that above? I mean,
how much time do you spend on your phone just
investigating other people on their phones in relation to your
your account.

Speaker 3 (05:33):
It's a quick five to ten minute thing, you know.
But it's like a sweep.

Speaker 4 (05:36):
It's like kind of like a checklist of things that
I do on Instagram. But I'll say this, I get
very offended if I send you guys some memes and
things and you, guys, you don't even open it. I
don't care if you I don't care if it's a
scene and you leave me on red, I don't care.

Speaker 3 (05:52):
You don't have to comment.

Speaker 2 (05:53):
But you know I'm the king of that that was
curated for you.

Speaker 3 (06:00):
I'm like, you know what, Elvis would love this, Gandhi
would love that. So I'm gonna I'm.

Speaker 5 (06:04):
Gonna send that scary does send some funny stuff, for sure.

Speaker 1 (06:07):
And I always comment on it because I know you
always feel bad.

Speaker 3 (06:11):
I don't even comment like you always.

Speaker 1 (06:13):
Feel bad about it because you seriously.

Speaker 6 (06:17):
No, there are dms come at us fast and furious,
like hundreds thousands a day. So sometimes I don't open
it because wherever you send a message, it's like way
down lower. So I have to go through so many things,
but I will get to it. It's not that I'm
deliberately ignoring you. I just there's other stuff.

Speaker 4 (06:31):
On the open my stuff, so does Danielle. You guys
are great, fine too, well, no way, hold on.

Speaker 2 (06:36):
So I'm flawed because I don't read your dere I
just want you to understand something. It has nothing to
do with you. It has to do with me. It's me, okay.
I just don't like spending that much time and putting
so much priority on investigating All dms to me are
just that's that's like the tenth in a list of
ways that you can communicate with me. I don't even

(06:57):
look at DM as much as I.

Speaker 3 (06:59):
Want those to laugh. He's gonna love this and then yeah.

Speaker 5 (07:03):
Oh this sounds like a breakup. It's not you, it's me.
I mean, I'm sorry.

Speaker 2 (07:07):
It's well, I know, but you know, but you made
me feel sometimes like I'm flawed. I'm a flawed individual
because I don't put it put priority on reading dms.
I just don't I just, I really, I rarely read texts.
I mean, I just I don't don't.

Speaker 3 (07:25):
I don't.

Speaker 2 (07:25):
I don't want to talk to anyone.

Speaker 3 (07:26):
I don't. I don't want That's me.

Speaker 2 (07:29):
And so a lot of people in my circle find
they get offended because I sent you a text three
days ago, and I'm like, I don't read text all
the time.

Speaker 7 (07:37):
I don't.

Speaker 2 (07:37):
If there's an emergency, send someone over in a car
with a siren, you know, and maybe I'll pay attention.

Speaker 5 (07:43):
I don't. You know what else scary?

Speaker 6 (07:45):
It's hurt about. I realized it the other day. If
you take a photo with him and then you don't
post that photo, He's like, Hey, where to go?

Speaker 7 (07:51):
Man?

Speaker 2 (07:52):
I want to post?

Speaker 6 (07:53):
Why don't you post that picture.

Speaker 2 (07:55):
Which is an amazing picture with me and all my friends?
Do all photos have to be posted? Is that really?
So it doesn't. It doesn't count as anything unless it's posted.
It doesn't have life without sharing.

Speaker 4 (08:08):
No, Yeah, well I have some question, yes, as a question.
Gandhi took it with her phone. It was a beautiful
selfie and she goes, oh my god, this is awesome,
and I was waiting for her to post it so
I could repost it to my story, that's all, and
it never came.

Speaker 3 (08:21):
That moment never happened.

Speaker 2 (08:22):
Sorry, no, that that moment did happen though. That's that's
the problem. The picture happened, but then it was on
her phone and I don't get to see it. I'm like,
that's the end of it.

Speaker 6 (08:30):
I'll send it to you. I just didn't even think about,
Like the night was happening, we were having a good time.
I didn't post the picture, and then two days later,
Scary's like, we'll have another picture. Man, you never posted it.

Speaker 5 (08:40):
I was like, oh my god.

Speaker 2 (08:41):
But he just kind of basically said, according to Scary,
it doesn't live that that picture doesn't exist. It doesn't
exist until it's posted. Do you have a phone call?

Speaker 3 (08:50):
Name Carlos missed?

Speaker 2 (08:52):
Yeah, let's go talk to Carlos. See what Carlos is? O.
Hey Carlos, how are you?

Speaker 7 (08:56):
Hey? I'm going, well, how are you?

Speaker 3 (08:57):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (08:58):
Just trying to figure this out. What's going on? Carl Us.

Speaker 7 (09:01):
I don't know, Nate are Scary Like, why why are
you like getting so emotional when people are unfollowing you?
I don't get it.

Speaker 4 (09:08):
Well, it's not that they unfollow listen because I don't
follow them whatever. But my point is I I just
don't like to see like everyone's like following other people
but not me in the same circle.

Speaker 3 (09:19):
That's weird. If all your.

Speaker 4 (09:20):
Friends, if your friends followed everyone else, of all of
your other friends, but didn't follow you, how would that
make you feel?

Speaker 5 (09:26):
Yeah, I get that.

Speaker 7 (09:27):
I mean, like, I have a life. It's like, I
don't care what people are following not following me. People
are like, you know, they're busy.

Speaker 6 (09:37):
Their loss because they're not getting all of your fabulous contents.
Their fault, their problem.

Speaker 2 (09:41):
So what's your message, Carlos for Scary.

Speaker 7 (09:45):
Oh, I just feel a little bad that you're you know,
taking it to like, you know, personal you know, I
don't want you to have They call this negativity that
people are following you. People love you right now? Nate?

Speaker 2 (09:54):
What what? What did you originally say? Nate, I can't
hear you. Carlos was supposed to say, I'm not following
Scary anymore.

Speaker 3 (10:01):
But Carlos, yeah, well yeah I'm not.

Speaker 7 (10:02):
I'm like, because you're thinking is so bad, It's like
I feel like I should unfunnel you.

Speaker 6 (10:09):
So because his feelings are hurt, you think you should
hurt them.

Speaker 7 (10:11):
More about it, like I don't want to deal with
card now. It's like it's like you're exactly about it.
It's like.

Speaker 5 (10:23):
Yourself. Here, let me stop on you a little lower.
There you go.

Speaker 2 (10:27):
We love you, Carlos. Thanks for listening. Man, you have
a great day over time.

Speaker 7 (10:32):
I love you.

Speaker 5 (10:32):
Thank you.

Speaker 2 (10:32):
Thanks for the follow by the way, I just saw
you on Instagram and there you go.

Speaker 5 (10:38):
It's on fire. Here let me add some more.

Speaker 3 (10:43):
Gandhi.

Speaker 2 (10:44):
Can you start the aligned to Scary to give him
a hug. Everyone get in line and it's hug Scary
