Speaker 1 (00:01):
Today's Daily Highlight from Elvis Duran in the Morning show.

Speaker 2 (00:05):
Just to let you know, we.

Speaker 3 (00:06):
All got together had our our team lunch. The only
disappointing part was Froggy, wasn't there.

Speaker 2 (00:11):
We missed your Froggy. We really did. It looked like
a lot of fun. I would have gotten in a
lot of trouble where I liked problem.

Speaker 3 (00:17):
Yeah, well there was trouble of course, you know, Scotty
Bee and Nate at the end of the table having
cocktails and starting crap. But it was fun crap, but
we had a lot of fun, great food. We went
to Gray Wind. The food was amazing and we just
enjoyed each other's company. That was a great lunch.

Speaker 2 (00:34):
Any thoughts, it was great.

Speaker 4 (00:36):
It was so it was the first lunch that we
did with Abby and then also one of our photographers,
Rachel Right, And it was so cute because Dan Klueger,
who is the Gray Wind guy, he came by and
Rachel was like, oh my god, my boyfriend loves him.
He's gonna be so jealous. And she was trying to
take a secret picture of him. And I was like, Rachel,
you know, you could just ask him to take a
picture and I'll take a picture with you. So then

(00:58):
she did it. It was very cute.

Speaker 3 (00:59):
Wow, it was great. Yeah, you know what, So I'm
the only weird guy at the table who ordered the
the grilled, the grilled lettuce with the fried oysters as
an appetizer.

Speaker 1 (01:11):
I was shocked that you could grill lettuce. I'm like,
what you Oh so delicious. I couldn't believe this.

Speaker 3 (01:17):
It's amazing, I tell you about Let me tell you
about that. I'm gonna do that for you, by the way,
next time you're over, because you're here all the time.

Speaker 1 (01:23):
All the time.

Speaker 3 (01:24):
So I'm like, no one's gonna eat I'm gonna order
this as an appetizer because no one likes oysters. And
then everyone started grabbing my fried oysters. I mean what
And Rachel down at the end of the table she
was drinking all these great cocktails and sucking down fried oysters,
and uh it was it was great. But yeah, you
you take romain lettuce right, and you just put a

(01:45):
little oil on it and just grill it, and so
when you eat it, it has that smoky flavor. It's
it's the A grilled lettuce salad is one of my favorite.

Speaker 2 (01:53):
Things in the world so cool.

Speaker 1 (01:54):
I gotta try this, do it?

Speaker 3 (01:55):
You just google it. I mean there's a million recipes.
So yeah, there were no fights. We all got along.
The only fights, of course, were the fights that happen
every day between Gandhi and Coast of Boy Josh.

Speaker 1 (02:05):
Oh my gosh him started Coast of Boy Josh Diamond, Uh,
Gandhi and who else was sitting next? And Andrew need
a friggin reality show. I this one's insulting that one
and that one's instead day. I was like, what is
going on over here with you four? I mean, they
need a show of their own. It's crazy.

Speaker 4 (02:27):
It's love. It's all love. It's our love language. We're
very mean to each other.

Speaker 3 (02:30):
We can we talk about the dangerous thing that Coast
of Boy Josh is doing when he comes to these launches.

Speaker 1 (02:38):
Sure, oh yeah, yeah that was I guess we could.
I couldn't believe he was doing it.

Speaker 3 (02:43):
So okay, So when we get off the air, Seacrest
comes on, and and so Josh is in charge of
making Seacrest is on and all the songs are playing
and all that.

Speaker 2 (02:54):
And he can do it remotely on his laptop.

Speaker 3 (02:56):
So Z one hundred here in New York basically is
on his lafeaptop, so he can go anywhere in the
world and he can run the radio station, I mean
from anywhere, and you know that has Wi Fi. So
here we are having lunch and having cocktails, and he
would be very careful not to drink a lot while
he was running the station because if one wrong button
is pushed, the whole thing goes kapooing. Right, So he said, there,

(03:20):
having lunch, the laptops open, it's like, let me. It's
like checking the baby. It's like the baby monitor right
at the table, and he's like, everyone's well, He'll push
a bun and just keeping an eye on it.

Speaker 2 (03:29):
Right.

Speaker 3 (03:29):
The thing is, if you got your finger next to
his laptop, people, he'd be like, oh, oh no, yeah, panic.

Speaker 1 (03:35):
And my question was, hey, we've been having a lot
of problems with the radio station in the last couple
of days with things. You think maybe this is a
good idea.

Speaker 3 (03:45):
We're good. Then he took another swig of his bourbon. Yeah, anyway,
but it's just so interesting, how uh. Yeah, it's like
driving a car at eighty miles per hour on a
highway by remote with a joystick.

Speaker 2 (03:59):
Yeah, like Okay, did.

Speaker 1 (04:01):
You guys see what Sam and I kept doing?

Speaker 4 (04:03):
Like?

Speaker 1 (04:03):
They brought us arc So we had so much with
the appetizers that a lot of us couldn't finish our
regular food. So we took it home to our significant others.
So every time there was something left over on the table,
Sam and I would pick it up, walk over to
our bag and stash it. We could do you.

Speaker 4 (04:21):
Danielle tried to get me to stash the the flower arrangements.
They were really cute.

Speaker 1 (04:25):
I would have stolen it for you, but I know
I tried to steal for you three times she did.

Speaker 4 (04:29):
She even brought it over at the end.

Speaker 2 (04:31):
No, don't steal vases from Dan Kluger's restaurant.

Speaker 1 (04:34):
They were If I don't go all around and shoved
it in her purse, we would have been fined.

Speaker 2 (04:38):
Stop stealing things.

Speaker 3 (04:39):
You're like an old lady stealing the saltine crackers and
ketchup at table we went through. Around Christmas, I packed
a Santa Claus half full of knives and took them home.

Speaker 2 (04:48):
God stop it.

Speaker 3 (04:50):
This is why this is why food cost her so expensive.
Restaurants use those nave American so Josh was running the
radio station on his laptop. So Gandhi, being the menace
she is, she took off her shoe, and all of
a sudden, I saw next to me, because Josh is
next to me, this toe coming under the table and
about to push a button on his laptop to turn off,

(05:11):
to turn off the Ryan Seacrest.

Speaker 2 (05:13):
You almost turned off Ryan Seacrest's career.

Speaker 4 (05:15):
And I thought I was being very polite about it.
I took my shoe off so that the nasty New
York street did not get on the laptop. But I
was so close.

Speaker 1 (05:23):
I was so close.

Speaker 3 (05:25):
Anyway, it was a fun day. Of course, Scary made
sure he ordered He and Nate ordered three entrees.

Speaker 2 (05:32):
Well, we wanted to try a lot of stuff on
the menu, and what better way to do that.

Speaker 5 (05:36):
Yeah, what you do is you share half of one
sandwich and you take the other one, and then you
do a third thing.

Speaker 2 (05:40):
Quote for the table, so you get you get to
taste three different.

Speaker 1 (05:44):
But he kept did you notice he kept saying that, hey, guys,
did you try this? It's for the table, and.

Speaker 2 (05:48):
Then he ate it. So Scary, from now on, your
new name is the table the table.

Speaker 5 (05:53):
And then I took those cookies home because das no
for his desserts and these short bread cookies with the
various creams that you guys can't leave her. God, he's
like that, I put him in the box, and I
put him I have a scary described cookie. All those
different cookies with the various creams. Let's get into it.

Speaker 3 (06:10):
But the thing is is down at the end of
the table, Nate and Scotty b they were already buzzed
before a morsel of food awry. And so when the
giant cheese its arrived, yeah, I.

Speaker 2 (06:22):
Mean it was out in New York City, right, so
we're already dehydrated. And then Dan had these clarified punch
Oh my god, I mean we have four I know.

Speaker 3 (06:32):
But when the giant cheese its arrived, here's Nate, the
cheese it's here. I'm like, oh, dear God, and thank
you all the.

Speaker 1 (06:42):
Way for helping me. I'm sorry for helping me with
the no mayo and making sure, oh yeah, you had
no mayo. That was very helpful.

Speaker 2 (06:48):
Out they had no problem making you happy with no mayo.
He watch up condition I just like that.

Speaker 4 (06:52):
Usually the food for the table is an appetizer. Everybody
has some scary order of steak.

Speaker 3 (06:57):
Yeah, passing around, maybe Thanksgiving dead.

Speaker 2 (07:04):
With all the treatments for the table, it was hard
to sunny side eggs, but that's what
