Speaker 1 (00:01):
Today's Daily Highlight from Elvis Duran in the Morning Show.
It is so hot. You know.

Speaker 2 (00:07):
I was actually doing a search last night how to
quickly cool down a hot car. Because you open that
door and you feel that rush of heat rolled out.

Speaker 1 (00:19):
Of your car, You're like, oh god, you know, you
know what I'm talking about. Yeah, it's awful.

Speaker 2 (00:24):
So Consumer Reports says the fastest way to get your
air conditioning to kick in is to be driving, because
that's when it revs up the cold faster. Your car's
air conditioning works better when you're actually driving versus just
having it on in the driveway. Right, they're saying, open
all your windows for like ten to twenty seconds. It

(00:47):
takes that long for the AC to start cooling. And
then it says roll up your front windows while you're
driving and leave the back one's open for like twenty
more seconds, and it pulls the cold air from the
front to the back. I didn't know that stuff. Have
you heard about this? No? No, Set your AC in
the car to the lowest temperature, adjust the fan speed
and direction to make yourself comfortable. If you have passengers

(01:08):
in the back seat, you know what, you know, that's
what they get for being in the back seat.

Speaker 1 (01:12):
It's not my problem.

Speaker 3 (01:15):
Wow.

Speaker 2 (01:17):
And if you have one of those cars, like I
know I do, that does that auto stop when you're
in a light, It turns off the engine, they say
a lot of cars. Well that means it's not gonna
cool as well, so turn that thing off and just
leave your engine on.

Speaker 1 (01:32):
And uh, yeah, I didn't know you could turn that
auto stop off.

Speaker 2 (01:36):
Somers a button in your car with an a with
like a circle around it, and that's the auto stop.

Speaker 1 (01:41):
Some cars do have a button, some don't.

Speaker 2 (01:44):
Yeah, that's but I just that when you first get
in that car, you're like, oh lord, that's you know,
you don't want to put a pet in there, jeez,
or an old person, so me and pets don't put
us in your car.

Speaker 3 (02:00):
You're also supposed to use that recirculate button, yes, console,
because it's cooling air that's already cooled, so it's not
cooling hot air cooler faster. It also means you can't
break wind in there, because it's just the recirculat's.

Speaker 1 (02:14):
Recirculating your charticles. Yeah.

Speaker 2 (02:17):
Yeah, it's fresh air versus recirculated air. This recirculated area
is gonna get fat it's gonna get colder faster than
the fresh air.

Speaker 1 (02:24):
That's what they say. I don't know. If it's really
hot out, it'll be hot air. It's trying to cool
so well. So I have that new truck.

Speaker 2 (02:31):
I push the button where you can start it, you know,
from across the way or inside.

Speaker 1 (02:36):
So I'm like, here's what I'm gonna do.

Speaker 2 (02:38):
I'm gonna start this baby up and go out there,
and when when I get through, all unlock and I'll
hop it it'll be cold. Wasn't It wasn't cold the
engine was on. I guess it's more of a winter
thing maybe.

Speaker 1 (02:48):
So oh. I also have those seats that blow cold
air up you as those Yeah, it's like, oh, there's
a breeze.

Speaker 3 (03:00):
It's always weird when someone doesn't tell you that it's
going to be on and it heats. I'm like, did
I yeah, the guns somebody's seat heater on in the
middle of the summertime.

Speaker 1 (03:09):
I'll reach over that.

Speaker 2 (03:12):
People like you need to go to jail. Seriously, it's
great around my seat so hot. I love the taint cooler.
I love turning on the tin. Hey, thank you to
the Canoli guy. This guy is pretty incredible. He's rolling
around our hallways piping cannolis.

Speaker 1 (03:31):
Yeah, you got to see this, dude.

Speaker 2 (03:33):
He he has that you know, like this the cigarette
box cigarettes cigars, but it's full of canoli shells and toppings,
and then he pipes right in front.

Speaker 1 (03:45):
He pipes full of his cannoli cream weddings on the
dance floor and stuff. It's so it's so cool. It's
such a great concept for parties. I love this. Yeah,
the contraption is just like extrapped to his chest. He
walks around the building.

Speaker 3 (03:57):
But but my favorite part is he's gonna he's gonna
go to the Times Square and start piping canoli's for people.

Speaker 1 (04:02):
He said, I don't care, I'm just gonna go here.
Want a canoli? Yeah, you gotta know that's not the
sound it makes. That's not the sound it makes. You
gotta know what a canoli is. First though, we found
out some people in the building didn't know. Really really
our secret.

Speaker 2 (04:18):
Then anyway, Yeah, there's nothing better than a guy with
a canola cream filled piping bag.

Speaker 1 (04:23):
You're aiming towards you. What's the sound that Mexican? Scary?
I don't know, it's disgusting. I don't want to eat
it now,
