Speaker 1 (00:01):
It's time to go around the room with Elvis Duran
in the morning show this We're ready to.

Speaker 2 (00:06):
Go all right around the room. Let's see what's on
the minds of those who are in the room. We'll
start with Froggy. He's in a room. What's on your
mind today?

Speaker 3 (00:14):
Frog? You know, I just want to take a second
to say thank you to Crosswater Animal Hospital here in
Jacksonville and doctor Zalad. So, if you remember two weeks
ago today I told you that I had to take
my little puppy in to get his toe amputated because
we weren't exactly sure what was going on. Well, after
a biopsy, it came back that he has cancer in
his foot and they've been doing lots of work on

(00:35):
him and he's getting better and his prognosis is really good.
And so I just want to say thank you to
doctor Zalad. She and her team have been amazing and
they have saved my little guy and I just could
not be more thankful and more happy for him. So
thank you for all. You know, Veterinarians are amazing, amazing people.

Speaker 2 (00:53):
They really are, and you know what, they need more credit,
as so many people that we love in our lives
do and put vets at the very top of the
list today. And here's to you, Froggy. You know, being
being a pet parent is, you know, it's a lot
more than people who are not parents understand.

Speaker 1 (01:11):
You know, to be it's a it's a it's a
it's an emotional thing. And he's gonna be good.

Speaker 2 (01:17):
Sure is a great payoff having him. What's on your
mind today, there, Scotti, Well.

Speaker 4 (01:21):
I gotta say, nature and wildlife in Central America is
something completely different. Forget about the fact that you got
these red McCaw parrots that usually just see in cages
up here flying around the sky.

Speaker 1 (01:33):
I came face to face with a scorpion. I wanted
to go brush my teeth, face to face.

Speaker 4 (01:38):
Yes, I went to go brush my teeth, and I
turned the water on the sink. It came up the drain,
so I literally pulled the stopper up on the you know,
the sink, and half of its body was above and
half of it was below, and I just turned on
the boiling water and it drowned a slow death in
the water and the sink of water the water kept rising.

Speaker 1 (01:58):
And I'm sorry I.

Speaker 4 (01:59):
Had to do that, but I read that because at first,
when I had him trapped in the sink, I'm like,
should I let him go? I mean this is like
a while. And then I looked and said Dan venomous.
They have poison. So I freaked out. I'm like, sorry,
I have to drown this guy. And then I felt
so bad. But he drowned a slow death.

Speaker 1 (02:17):
Wait wait, did you watch him die? Or he went
down the draint?

Speaker 4 (02:20):
So I watched him dive because half his half, his
body and his clothes were above trying to get out
of the stopper. Level started rising like that old Batman
car episodes.

Speaker 1 (02:31):
You know what? Where the things?

Speaker 3 (02:32):
What?

Speaker 1 (02:32):
Your time is running out for it? And then there
was boiling water and then he just like he may
not have he may not have died. Not what's that there?

Speaker 5 (02:41):
Faked it?

Speaker 1 (02:42):
Oh, I gotta be honest. Scorpions can die. I have
no problem. Sam is giving me the evil eye.

Speaker 6 (02:48):
So it's not just like the full story, like did
it ask you for help and show you a photo
of its children?

Speaker 1 (02:54):
Like you're really just Sam? You know it's Sam. You
know what? Go hug a tree, slow down. I apologize here.

Speaker 2 (03:01):
If we live on a planet where it's gonna be
me or the scorpion. I'm sorry, the scorpion is going
telling the story.

Speaker 1 (03:07):
Got to get stamped out or something.

Speaker 4 (03:09):
It's gotta die.

Speaker 5 (03:11):
See I say the same thing I would have been
out of mommy of face.

Speaker 1 (03:14):
Yeah, okay, Well let me tell you something.

Speaker 2 (03:17):
I've I've been hit by scorpions three times in my
life and you have no friggin idea. And it was
I it just happened. I've screw scorpions and a lot
of snakes. I can do it, not them too.

Speaker 1 (03:30):
And if it stings you and you're allergic, forget it.
You're going to get it. I'm with you. I'm with you, scary,
But did you do with it.

Speaker 5 (03:35):
After you drowned it?

Speaker 3 (03:36):
Oh?

Speaker 4 (03:36):
Then finally after it died, then I let all the
water go down, and I pushed it down with it,
with it with a tissue.

Speaker 1 (03:42):
And you have made it sound very dramatic.

Speaker 4 (03:44):
This is like dramatic death it did.

Speaker 2 (03:46):
This is like Batman killing the Joker, a diabolical little
little plot.

Speaker 1 (03:52):
What about you, straight Nate, death or doom or destruction?
Which do you want to talk? I'm going to go
with child entertainment, all right, So I know Danielle's gonna
give me crap. I call them legos, but you say Lego.

Speaker 5 (04:03):
Yeah, because they're not the Lego whatever is.

Speaker 1 (04:06):
The company is Lego. I've always called them Legos, but
they're for every age. Because I see they just released
a Jaws Lego set. How cool is that they.

Speaker 2 (04:15):
Got in the boat with the shark and you know
Brody and you know Quint and everything like that.

Speaker 1 (04:21):
I can't wait. I'm gonna buy this.

Speaker 5 (04:23):
Have you ever for me? Putting together a Lego set
is so therapeutic.

Speaker 7 (04:27):
I love a glass of wine and a huge Lego
set like they have the Disney Castle. That's my next project.
They're expensive, they take a long time, but they're friend.

Speaker 1 (04:36):
Was the last one you put together.

Speaker 5 (04:38):
Tower Bridge from when less than a year ago.

Speaker 2 (04:43):
It takes a long time, though I can see daniel
doing it. But Nate saying, I'm gonna go buy the
Jaw to the Jaws Lego set. You're never gonna put
that together, will.

Speaker 1 (04:52):
I really enjoyed doing Legos when I was a kid.
Lego Lego when I was a kid.

Speaker 8 (04:57):
Are the individual pieces called legos?

Speaker 4 (05:00):
I don't.

Speaker 5 (05:00):
I think they just say Lego. I stepped on some Lego.

Speaker 2 (05:02):
Wait, well, what about the breakfast food? Is it Lego
my Eggos or Lego my Eggo A little bit different?
All right, Hey, Danielle, what's up?

Speaker 7 (05:11):
So I got to go to see something really cool yesterday.
I took Sheldon for his birthday. I got tickets to
this thing called odd Man Out and Immersive Experience in
the Dark. It's in New York City and it's an immersive.

Speaker 5 (05:25):
Show all in the dark, and I'm not even kidding you.

Speaker 7 (05:28):
From start to finish, they lead you to your seat
in pitch black darkness. It's like you're getting on an
airplane going to Buenos Aires.

Speaker 5 (05:35):
That's the whole thing.

Speaker 7 (05:36):
And you're learning about this guy's life who was blind.
So all your other senses come to life as you
have to figure out you know how to figure out,
I guess what's going on in the story. You're listening,
you're feeling, you're eating things.

Speaker 5 (05:50):
In the dark.

Speaker 7 (05:51):
It was so cool and so different. I really think
that everybody should see it again. It's an odd Man Out,
an immersive Experience in the dark. It's just something so different.

Speaker 5 (06:02):
Ninety minutes. You even had to lock your cell phone up.

Speaker 7 (06:05):
They took your cell phone away because they were afraid
people will put the light on, you know, while you're
sitting there, and they really wanted it to be picked black.
And I was drinking alcohol in the dark, eaten, eating
stuffing these served in banadas.

Speaker 5 (06:16):
It was great.

Speaker 1 (06:17):
Did you miss your mouth when you're trying to eat?
I did not.

Speaker 5 (06:20):
I got my mouth.

Speaker 1 (06:20):
I was very where's my pie hole?

Speaker 5 (06:23):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (06:23):
Well there you go, an odd man out. I would
I would love to see that. You know what, being
immersed in darkness two things. You You feel great because
your other senses are heightened because your sight is out.
And secondly, in the dark you wouldn't be able to
see the torture that scary put him up or scorpion.
The slow death slow death was not visible at that show.

(06:45):
Thanks for turning us onto that. Hey what's up there, Gandhi, what's.

Speaker 1 (06:49):
Up with you?

Speaker 7 (06:49):
All right?

Speaker 8 (06:50):
It's Wednesday, and that means my podcast is dropping today.
I just want to thank Diamond and Andrew because over
the break we recorded a few minisodes which is just
the three of us talk. I don't actually have a
guest on and people seem to like that even more
than just having a guest. So thanks Andrew. And Diamond,
and Diamond convinced me to have somebody on the next

(07:10):
episode that is going to apparently blow everybody's mind.

Speaker 1 (07:13):
So really, who is it?

Speaker 8 (07:15):
Remember when we were talking about who's the wildest housewife
that's ever been on the show, everyone was saying the
Countess Luanne.

Speaker 1 (07:22):
Oh wow, wow, Okay.

Speaker 8 (07:25):
Look at Diamond is so excited, Celia.

Speaker 1 (07:28):
They were texting, that's gonna be a room of t
and T ready to explain. I can't wait, so excited.
That's gonna be a great.

Speaker 8 (07:35):
On the side, wherever you find your podcasts.

Speaker 1 (07:36):
And producer, Sam, what's on your mind today?

Speaker 6 (07:38):
I have to know if anyone else is playing bandle lately. No, okay,
no one's reacting great. So it's like wordle, except its music.
So I thought it's.

Speaker 5 (07:47):
Right up our alley.

Speaker 1 (07:48):
It breaks the song down.

Speaker 6 (07:49):
It tells you the year the song was released and
the level of difficulty, and then each step you hear
just the drums and then the drums and the bass,
and then the first SyncE and then the second's.

Speaker 5 (07:59):
Scary and froggy. It would be.

Speaker 6 (08:00):
Great, so cool, because I thought I'd be better at it.
It's frustrating, but in a great way and yesterday the
song was what a wonderful World and it was so
lovely to get the reveal.

Speaker 1 (08:11):
But it's a fun game.

Speaker 6 (08:12):
It's just like Wordle except music, step by step bandle
very cool.

Speaker 1 (08:16):
Go play, you have to go back to it. Have
you guys done Wordle today? Yeah?

Speaker 8 (08:20):
I just opened up my app to do it.

Speaker 1 (08:22):
Oh.

Speaker 2 (08:22):
I tell you, Connections is hanging me up. I love connections.
I actually do better connections than Wordle. Believe it or not,
but jeez, anyway,
