As you evolve in life, I think if if you're able,
you should collect reasons to celebrate and not replace them.
And what I mean by that is my husband William
and I still celebrate our first date anniversary and I
think I look more forward to it than I do
our wedding anniversary because I remember the night I met
the weirdo and how much fun it was. And we

go back to our first date spot every time. And
some people have actually thrown some shade saying, now you
celebrate your wedding anniversary, you can't have it both ways.
Yes I can, and you can too, go celebrate.

to my brother in law Corey. He is the absolute best.
If you are lucky enough to have somebody marry into
your family that feels like family, enjoy that because it's
a blessing. We know how many times people marry someone
and you're like, ugh, now you're part of my family boo.
But I love having Corey as a brother in law.
He's the best. Happy birthday, Corey, who I'm pretty sure

Probably a dozen times in my life I've gotten a
gift that really just made me say to myself, Wow,
this person really knows me and this is exactly what
I wanted. And about fifteen minutes ago I got one
of those. So last week on the show, I was
talking about the Lego Jaws orca Lego set right, and
I was really excited about it was coming out in

August Jaws Orca.

Yeah, the Orca was the boat from Jaws. You know boat.

Okay, So Sam goes, hey, I got a surprise for you.
Walk into her studio. She starts filming me. She says,
open up that box. It is the Jaws or I
gotta say that was that really made my day, week, month, decade.
Speaker 2 (02:17):
Thank you so much, Sarah.

I was so happy seeing you, so happy.
Speaker 2 (02:21):
You you have a gift of gift giving. So thank

mentioned that I wanted the Disney Castle and she got
me the freaking Disney Castle lego set.

I don't know about you guys, but for me, The
ultimate test on how close you really are with a
person is if you can go for years without seeing
or talking to them and then all of a sudden
just fall back comfortably. They may left off because of that. Yeah,
last night I was out with some friends who some
of them I haven't seen in a few years. But
we sat down at that table and we picked up

where we left off. It was, you know, there was
no awkwardness. There wasn't I don't know what to say.
Or we weren't even in our phones. Oh my god,
we weren't in our phones.

We were wait, wait, hold on, you weren't in your
phone too much to catch up fun, but you posted
like eighty thousand pictures, so obviously you were in your
phone a little bit.
Speaker 8 (03:47):
That was after we took the picture, we put the
phone down, we posted afterwards.

Now, okay, on the other side, do you have any
friends who actually try to guilt you, like, how can
we don't call? Where have you been? Yes, it's the
opposite of the friends you're talking about, right.

I go, the phone goes two ways, two ways. Well
you're going. I'm glad you had a good time with
your friends last night.

It was froggy here we go the froggy, the guy
who brought up the is a hot dog of sandwich argument, Now,
how are you gonna rain on our parade?

So this morning I came into work and I came
in the front door of the radio station. I walked
in and as I'm walking down the hallway, I see
somebody banging on the back door. It's like four forty
five in the morning. Four fifty in the morning. So
I noticed it's the It's the cleaning lady, Susan, and
I love her. So she says, oh, my badge doesn't work.
So I just opened the door and let her in.
And she says, how do you know I still work here?

I said, I don't know, but the place needs clean.
It's a come on in, get on in here there,
I go on here. I'm like, I've been seeing her
for years.
Speaker 2 (04:51):
I don't know. I just let her in the building.
I'm not good. What do you want to go to do? Check?

It proved to me you still belong here? Like, I
don't know, I just opened the door and let her in.
I don't know if it's her bad it's the reader
or whatever it is. But I know one thing. Places
