How about in Jacksonville? Computers up and running.
Speaker 9 (01:51):
I am on the guest network that is working.
Speaker 3 (01:53):
Oh so it was a company outage, they said. Every
single connection in iHeart was off across the country and
around the world. For some reason, ours is working. Why
are we the chosen ones?
Speaker 10 (02:05):
I don't know, but thank God because we woke up
so I know, well, here we are.
Speaker 3 (02:11):
I love this song. This is like a great Monday song.

it gets really Intanterio. Whoa, that sounds so good, Titanium,
(02:32):

Speaker 12 (03:10):

Speaker 9 (03:11):
We have this afternoon thunderstorms like we normally get, but
not too bad.
Speaker 3 (03:14):
Oh, we'd have great weekend up here. But uh, it
was awesome. I know that almost everyone and their dog
went down to the Jersey Shore this weekend because traffic
to see look at that the traffic getting back last
night was just a nightmare. So coming back in the
morning is the best way to do it. Good for you, Yeah,

(03:36):

Thank you for listening to us. Enjoy your week Hold
on one second, don't leave. Hold on. Look at that?
It was a It was a picture perfect weekend. How
(03:57):
was your weekend? Gandhi?
Speaker 5 (03:58):
What'd you do?
Speaker 10 (03:59):
It was amazing. My cousins were in town because they
just wanted to come have a fun New York weekend.
So I saw them a little bit and then went
out with friends on Saturday and I hung out with
our boy Andrew. We worked out a lot this weekend.
It was great.
Speaker 3 (04:11):
Look at you? Yeah, I know, Nate had a nice,
relaxing weekend. What'd you do?
Speaker 5 (04:14):
I did? I went on a lovely bike ride and
almost hit a deer on my bisym. Oh my god,
about that?
Speaker 3 (04:20):
How do I hit a deer path?
Speaker 10 (04:24):
That's terrible for you?
Speaker 9 (04:25):
Yeah?
Speaker 5 (04:26):
Wow? Here, what about you?
Speaker 3 (04:28):
Scary? How was your weekend?
Speaker 8 (04:29):
It was awesome. I went to a beautiful week week
wedding up in Beacon, New.
Speaker 5 (04:33):
York at this place called the Roundhouse and Friday, and
on Saturday I went to a white party and close
to New Jersey.
Speaker 3 (04:41):
Why so only white people are allowed? Is that what happened?
Speaker 5 (04:43):
Well, it was scary majority white people, but it was
not on pas but it was all you had to
wear white and.
Speaker 3 (04:49):
So hold on, stop stop right there. You know you
didn't have to say it was a majority of white people,
but you didn't really Well, I guess.
Speaker 10 (04:57):
Wear white white just an observation.
Speaker 8 (04:59):
But I will say I got to wear my white jeans.
Speaker 5 (05:02):
The only time I ever whipped out the white jeans
is at a white party because I can never wear
them otherwise I can't.
Speaker 3 (05:07):
Love that stuff. All right, Froggy, how was your weekend?
Speaker 9 (05:10):
It was good. We went to Daytona Beach on Saturday,
saw some friends and then yesterday hung out with more friends.
So it was a good, nice, good fun weekend.
Speaker 3 (05:18):
Scotti Bee, how was your weekend? Anything good going on
in the Scotty Bee House? Yeah, it was great.
Speaker 13 (05:22):
Went to see Luke holmbs at MetLife Stadium. Took both
kids this time. It was great and yes, they did
some bike riding and had a nice little dinner.
Speaker 3 (05:28):
So it was good weekend. Producer Sam, good weekend?
Speaker 10 (05:31):
Oh yeah, it was lovely.
Speaker 14 (05:32):
The highlight was definitely once again taking my dog to Asbury,
even though I had to wake up at six in
the morning to do it.
Speaker 3 (05:37):
There you go. What's you that for dinner last night?
Everyone wanted to know.
Speaker 14 (05:40):
Heavens It was leftover spinach and artichoke pizza and it
was delicious.
Speaker 3 (05:45):
Okay, all right, sounds like we.
Speaker 6 (05:46):
Ought a good weekend.
Speaker 10 (05:47):
What was your weekend?
Speaker 5 (05:48):
Like?
Speaker 4 (05:48):
Yeah, it was great.
Speaker 3 (05:49):
We went to Almah and hung out with friends and
just had the best Italian food known to man. And
we just and our good friends were there and it
was I don't know, would we do it? Was Saturday, Saturday.
We just cooked and didn't they and I don't know,
it just kind of melted through. I don't even remember
what we did. We didn't really do anything. What is
wrong with your eyes, Nate?
Speaker 5 (06:08):
I've got an eyelash that's sticking, so I'm trying to
like get it out of there.
Speaker 3 (06:12):
I know, but you have this look in your eye
like you're crazy a little bit.
Speaker 5 (06:15):
But I also had an accident with my shaver Goha
like a baby this morning.
Speaker 10 (06:21):
A young boy today look at him with no facial hair.
Speaker 5 (06:24):
I had the wrong guard on the trimmer. The mustache gone.
There you go.
Speaker 3 (06:30):
Yeah, if you trimble a little problem area, then you
got to do the whole thing.
Speaker 4 (06:34):
Oh you can't.
Speaker 3 (06:36):
Let's get into the three things we need to know
from Gandhi. Yeah, it is true. Danielle is out. She
was up in Canada over the weekend. She'll give you
the full story when she returns tomorrow. All right, Gandhi,
what's going on?
Speaker 4 (06:45):
All right?
Speaker 10 (06:46):
President Biden is dropping out of the twenty twenty four
presidential race and endorsing his vice president, Kamala Harris for
the job. This comes after Democratic leaders four weeks have
expressed concern about his ability to take on another four years.
Biden was diagnosed with COVID on Wednesday and has been
in self isolation at his beach house in Delaware. The
Democratic national convention to nominate the party's candidate for president
(07:08):
is scheduled to be held August nineteenth, through the twenty
second Wow.
Speaker 3 (07:12):
So, we were in the restaurant, we were at Alma
yesterday when the news broke and is this another joke?
When I hit a link and I see some dirty
picture on my right oat and then everyone's like, oh, okay, okay,
he's out of the race, okay, and then everyone got
back to their pizza, like we didn't see this coming, right,
you know, But there you go, and we move forward.
In this wacky country of ours.
Speaker 10 (07:32):
We are living through the craziest stuff right now.
Speaker 3 (07:34):
What else is going on today? What are the crazy things?
Do you have?
Speaker 10 (07:37):
All right? The CDC says that two people have died
due to a lysteria outbreak in multiple states that's connected
to deli meat and a warning issued on Friday. The
CDC said at least twenty eight others have been hospitalized,
but the number of those sick from the outbreak maybe
higher due to some milder cases not being tested. It's
unclear which meat is responsible for those getting sick, and
no recalls have been issued just yet. Most of the
(07:59):
people that became sick reported eating liverwurst or turkey. Some
said they ate ham prior to falling ill. The two
deaths were reported in New Jersey and Illinois. Wow, and
finally we know it has been hot here in New
York and finally, much like people are required to provide
heat in the winter, city landlords may soon be required
to provide tenants with air conditioning in summer. A bill
(08:22):
introduced in the city Council would require landlords to maintain
an indoor temperature of no more than seventy eight degrees
when the outdoor temperature tops eighty two. The Health Department
says about three hundred and fifty city residents die each
year from heat issues. And those are your three things.
Speaker 3 (08:37):
You know what, when you go to hop on a
plane and fly away, you always go to the shop
next to the gate and buy a big bag of combos.
Speaker 10 (08:46):
Yes, you love your combos.
Speaker 3 (08:47):
Well, it's tradition. We always have combos when we fly.
It's just what we do. If we don't, we feel
like something's going to go wrong on the plane. So anyway,
thanks to our friends at Combos, we have one thousand
dollars free money phone tap all week. Can you imagine.
I know, our best, our best flight buddy Combos is
giving us phone tabs all this week. We have guests
(09:09):
coming up this week as well. We have some heavy
duty guests.
Speaker 5 (09:11):
Can we go at? I know Scotty Bee is very excited.
The Karate kid is going to be here.
Speaker 3 (09:16):
Ralph BOI was gonna only not only will we wax on,
we will wax off. It's gonna be pretty cool anyway.
We got a busy day ahead. You guys ready for it?
Speaker 6 (09:26):
Yeah, let's go now, Mis Danne in the Morning Show.
Speaker 3 (09:31):
Whendy's Breakfast two for three dollars. Biggie bundles let you
choose your perfect duo from your favorite four including a
sausage or egg and cheese biscuit, small seasoned potatoes, or
medium hot coffee.
Speaker 13 (09:42):
Limited time only during breakfast hours. US price and participation
may vary. Not valid in a combo single item at
regular price.
Speaker 6 (09:55):
Go Elvis and Good Morning Show.
Speaker 3 (09:57):
You know, I was tripped into the bathroom this morning
getting ready, and I was about to step on the scales,
and I went, eh, we've become so obsessed over weighing
ourselves daily. Sometimes they say you should never do that.
Ever you should. You should Maybe once a week is
all you need, if that. But there is a good
(10:19):
chance that you weigh more today than you did on Friday.
That's just kind of typical from the weekend, right for sure.
And uh, you know, one reason could be you are
more hydrated because you drink more during the weekend. You
have more chances to drink water or whatever, and so
it's actually better to weigh a little more being hydrated
than it is way less dehydrated. Makes sense. Yeah, Also,
(10:43):
maybe the type of food we eat over the weekend
is going to chunk us up a little more.
Speaker 10 (10:48):
Messager so that then absorbs the alcohol.
Speaker 3 (10:51):
Oh yeah, and how much you ate as well? And uh,
you know, dare we talk about you know, bowel movements?
So maybe uh you're too busy on the weekend to
have a seat. Uh anyway, hormonal changes over the weekend.
Do you think that makes you weigh more on a
Monday than you did on a Friday.
Speaker 10 (11:11):
I've never really thought about the hormonal changes of the weekend,
but sure why not?
Speaker 3 (11:16):
Or just you know, hanging onto that water anyway? So uh,
should we all be in the well actually get out
of the habit of weighing ourselves every single day because
it can drive you battye.
Speaker 10 (11:26):
I know people that weigh themselves multiple times a day
as soon as they wake up, every time they go
to the bathroom.
Speaker 3 (11:31):
My yead, that makes no sense hoping that going to
the bathroom. Oh god, I just shed forty five pounds.
Speaker 10 (11:39):
He said, shed by the way, shed shed?
Speaker 3 (11:41):
Yes, I just shed. Didn't it sound like something else?
What up, Nate.
Speaker 5 (11:49):
I'm so I weigh myself so infrequently that when I
do get on this scale, I'm always shocked at the number.
It's always huge, or I'm like, wow, I'm this scale
must be broken. There's no way I weigh that right,
you know.
Speaker 3 (12:04):
And sometimes you weigh yourself at someone else's house and
their scales are lighter, and you're like, oh, yeah, I wait,
less at your house.
Speaker 5 (12:09):
There's no calibration going on here.
Speaker 10 (12:11):
Or at the doctor's office, they're always the other way.
It's always heavy, it's always broken.
Speaker 15 (12:14):
At the doctor.
Speaker 3 (12:15):
Oh that stupid scale. I was there for my physical Friday,
and you know, I love my doctor, she's the best.
But her scale, I said, these are wrong. You know
they're wrong. How dare you? Because you stand on it
and they have to like use their finger to make
that little that big metal rod go to the right.
They goes, oh, She's like, stop tapping that. There's something wrong,
especially when they use the big slider. What are you doing?
(12:38):
It adds another one hundred pounds? What? What uh? What's
going to producer? Sam?
Speaker 14 (12:43):
I stopped doing it when I found out a female's
body you're only supposed to compare it to the same
time the previous month. You can't even compare week to
week because it depends on where you are in the
month in your cycle system, and I'm not organized enough
to keep track, so I just gave up.
Speaker 3 (12:57):
Well, I say, get rid of your scales even need them.
Speaker 10 (13:01):
You know, I can tell a strong you feel, or.
Speaker 3 (13:03):
You know, if I can get my pants button or
there you go. You know what I'm saying. Anyway, So
let's let's get out of that habit. We're gonna drive
ourselves a nuts. We haven't do. We have enough going
on in this world to be nuts as it is.
Do we need to add that to of the list?
Speaker 4 (13:16):
Geez?
Speaker 3 (13:17):
All right, let's get into the horoscopes. Producer, say, what
did you have for dinner last night? Leftover?
Speaker 14 (13:21):
She said, yes, so it was leftover pizza and it
was a spinach and artichoke pizza, which it's very good.
Speaker 5 (13:27):
You're in all right?
Speaker 3 (13:28):
Who are you doing your horsecopes with?
Speaker 10 (13:29):
Scara Jones?
Speaker 4 (13:31):
Scaryay?
Speaker 3 (13:32):
All right, let's go.
Speaker 5 (13:33):

Excellent, excellent. All right, So Daniel's on here, so I
guess there's nothing really entertaining to talk about.
Speaker 4 (15:02):
I don't know.
Speaker 3 (15:04):
Did anything happen over the weekend in the world of
Little Table that Danielle would be going on and on
about today?
Speaker 4 (15:09):
Do we know?
Speaker 10 (15:10):
I'm sure some things did. I feel like if anyone
would know, it would be the creature named Diamond.
Speaker 3 (15:15):
Or is she? Where's Diamond? Is she in there?
Speaker 4 (15:18):
Yeah?
Speaker 3 (15:18):
Hey Diamond? What's going on over there?
Speaker 6 (15:20):
Hey? Morning?
Speaker 15 (15:21):
What's up?
Speaker 3 (15:22):
You know Danielle's out today. Why don't you just throw
something together and give us a Danielle report coming up?
Speaker 4 (15:26):
Okay?
Speaker 16 (15:26):
Cool?
Speaker 3 (15:28):
Isn't that easy? I mean, is there anything that stands
out that happened over the weekend. We need to be
talking about.
Speaker 15 (15:33):
Not a lot.
Speaker 7 (15:34):
It's kind of a boring weekend, like entertainment wise, but
you know there's always Bravo News to talk about.
Speaker 3 (15:43):
A right, why don't you dig some stuff up and
coming up? You could just kind of put something together
for us.
Speaker 15 (15:48):
Okay, okay, gotcha?
Speaker 3 (15:49):
All right? That on the way. Plus we have a
Combos free money phone tap. I'm still excited. It's so
funny when you mentioned combos like I did earlier, it
automatically puts you in a seat on a plane in
your mind.
Speaker 9 (16:00):
It just does.
Speaker 3 (16:01):
We've been eating My favorite are the the pepperoni pizza ones.
Speaker 5 (16:05):
And those what a great flavor. Seriously, they don't have
pepperoni pizza flavor to anything except for combos.
Speaker 3 (16:12):
How great pepperoni pizzas flavored with pepperoni pizza? You know
what I mean? Okay? All right? So, uh Diamond sitting
in for Danielle. A last minute report being thrown together
right now.
Speaker 16 (16:25):
That's coming out the Mercedes Benz Interview Lounge.

you bring it to your mouth and you start chewing it.
You're like, oh my god, this is insanely good, and
you think maybe I should not be eating this.
Speaker 10 (17:13):
Every day in my life.
Speaker 9 (17:15):
Really, Oh my god.
Speaker 3 (17:16):
Yeahs, when's the lest of me ate something that's so
deck in it? You actually stopped yourself and said, let's
just slow down on this just a little bit.
Speaker 10 (17:22):
Friday night, What was it? Cheesecake and chocolate ice cream?
It was so good, but I was like.
Speaker 5 (17:27):
It's the same.
Speaker 3 (17:28):
Wait, hold cheesecake and chocolate ice cream at the same time.
Speaker 10 (17:31):
Oh yeah, don't you judge me.
Speaker 3 (17:33):
I'm not judging. Oh my god, listen, bite my head off.
What are you doing?
Speaker 9 (17:37):
Listen to you.
Speaker 3 (17:39):
It's it's interesting combo. I love them both. Mine was yesterday.
What'd you eat that that made you go?
Speaker 4 (17:45):
Hmmm?
Speaker 9 (17:46):
So I was only going to have a couple of
Lais wavy Lais potato chips.
Speaker 4 (17:52):
Mm hmm.
Speaker 9 (17:54):
I eat the whole damn bag.
Speaker 3 (17:56):
Oh wow.
Speaker 9 (17:56):
And while I'm eating, and I'm telling myself that you
really should just put this, put it away, go put
it away, and I'm like, well, I'll just get another,
and I get your endful out of time, and then
it was gone.
Speaker 3 (18:05):
But you put it away?
Speaker 9 (18:07):
I did in my stomach an idiot.
Speaker 5 (18:10):
Look at that?
Speaker 3 (18:10):
Yeah, scary?
Speaker 5 (18:11):
What for me? It's thick cut bacon, you know, the
ones that come with that fat cap. And I find
myself chewing the fat and I'm like, I really should
not be eating this. Maybe I should be cutting around
this and just eating the meat part. But even then
you're screwed.
Speaker 4 (18:23):
But it's so good.
Speaker 3 (18:26):
What about you, scotti me.
Speaker 13 (18:28):
One thing I can't resist is diner chocolate pudding. So
after a meal, I always get chocolate pudding with whip
cream at the diner, and when I'm done with it,
I'm like, I should not have eaten that.
Speaker 5 (18:37):
Wow, but I still no.
Speaker 3 (18:39):
I remember, you know, the chocolate putting it odeon this
one of my favorite chocolate puddy too. I could see
that is chocolate pudding with whip cream. Doesn't that doesn't
seem as awful as what I just ate. I'll tell
you what I ate in a second, Yes, Nate, would
you have Over the.
Speaker 5 (18:52):
Weekend I made an impulse by there was a jar
of those turtle cluster pecan turtle cluster things with hell yeah,
eighteen ounces and they were gone over the course of
a day and a half. I think I ate enough
sugar for about six months of my life. Yeah, I
(19:12):
have no I have no willpower, no control whatsoever. I zero.
I just kept dipping my hand in that jar.
Speaker 3 (19:20):
Wow. See, but you eat it and it tastes so
good when you're eating it, right, Oh yeah, all right.
So here's what they do at Alma. They take they
make a big vat of pasta carbonara. Right, So in
the carbonaro you got egg and you have bacon, like
big chunks of you know, bacon or whatever. What they
(19:44):
do is they make a big pan of it, then
they refrigerate it. Then they take it out of the
refrigerator and they cut it into squares. Then they bred
it and fry it.
Speaker 10 (19:54):
Amazing.
Speaker 3 (19:55):
So it's fried bacon with fried pasta with fried cheese,
and so I just had I warmed up a little
a little bite of it a second ago, and I'm like,
this is so good. I really should not be eating this.
I ate it yesterday. Two days in a row is
a bad thing. So it could have been. Imagine they
could toss it.
Speaker 8 (20:12):
In a wheel of cheese. Take all that and then
just throw it in a wheel of cheese, toss it.
Speaker 3 (20:17):
Amazing. Wow. Anyway, anyway, it was, It's delicious. It was all.
I just had a little bite of it, like a
little dot. That's all I needed. I couldn't only do
any more than that. But just imagine that fried fried
chunks of carbonara. It's basically what it is.
Speaker 10 (20:34):
It's like when people talk about, you know, oh, you
would never eat a whole bag of cheese sticks. However,
if you bread it and fry it, people will house
mazzarella sticks.
Speaker 18 (20:42):
There.
Speaker 3 (20:44):
We're crazy, Yeah, we're nuts. Hey, Danielle is out today.
She'll be back tomorrow, she promises, if the planes are flying.
I mean, she was actually delayed with ten hours leaving
uh leaving New York for Canada on Friday. A lot
of people were stuck in the airport. A lot of
people are stuck in the airport today. It's it's still
going on.
Speaker 9 (21:04):
Right, Yeah.
Speaker 5 (21:06):
One of our listeners said they were stuck. It took
them two days to get home. Wow, I don't know
I would make do you know?
Speaker 3 (21:14):
Airports can be funs to do. Yeah, if you choose
to be there.
Speaker 4 (21:22):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (21:22):
You always have like a bag of combos and you're good.
So Diamond is gonna I think just cobble something together
to the She's high, Diamond.
Speaker 4 (21:33):
How is she doing?
Speaker 3 (21:34):
How is she doing?
Speaker 11 (21:35):
Oh?
Speaker 15 (21:35):
She's great today. My coffee is.
Speaker 3 (21:39):
Oh here she goes all right, what do you have
any music for a Diamond? Let's see how far she
can go into the report without talking about something on Bravo.
Speaker 15 (21:48):
You can do this, Oh okay, okay?
Speaker 10 (21:51):
Was that your whole report?
Speaker 15 (21:52):
Pretty much?
Speaker 1 (21:53):
But we'll start with.
Speaker 3 (21:56):
You do what you need to do. You can do
no wrong diamonds.
Speaker 15 (21:59):
Okay, we'll start with Taylor Swift and Travis Kelsey.
Speaker 7 (22:02):
He had to leave her in Germany because he's going
back to training camp Chiefs Training camp. I think started
over the weekend. But the mustache is back. I don't
really know how we feel about that. I thought we
got rid of it. I mean, anyway, before he left her,
she spent seventy five thousand dollars on gifts for her.
Oh we love it from Valentino, Prada, Botega and Findy.
Speaker 15 (22:26):
Ooh what a plying gift. We love a man who
gives gifts.
Speaker 3 (22:30):
Giventy five grand? Yes, how much he spent?
Speaker 15 (22:33):
Yep, don't we do?
Speaker 3 (22:34):
That's in saying. By the way, get Scotty be in here,
Scotti the cereal King. Did you hear about Travis and
Jason Kelsey's new Yes, Cereal.
Speaker 13 (22:42):
The Cereal Mix. Yes, I have to get a hands
on it. I hope by a General Mills sens as
some General Mills I've heard.
Speaker 3 (22:47):
It's not that great.
Speaker 13 (22:48):
Oh really, it's just it's just a mashup. I think
it's a bunch of different stuff together.
Speaker 3 (22:52):
It's Cinnamono's Crunch, Lucky Charms and Reese's Puffs all in
one mix. Well, you could just do that yourself. Well,
I know, but it has a picture on the box.
Speaker 15 (23:03):
While we're on football.
Speaker 7 (23:05):
In football, spouse's you know significant others. Did anyone know
that Giselle is a twin Tom Brady wife?
Speaker 10 (23:13):
I know it is oho yah.
Speaker 7 (23:15):
So she posted the other day her birthday was I
think Friday, no yesterday? Actually sorry, She posted with her
twin sister Patricia, and I'm like, I was today years
old when I knew when I found out.
Speaker 15 (23:25):
About this, that's so cool. I mean, yay, okay, now
we're getting into reality TV. Are you ready? Oh? Yes, okay.
Speaker 7 (23:33):
So last night, if you all are in tune with
what the kids are watching these days, Love Island USA aired.
Speaker 15 (23:40):
Its final episode.
Speaker 7 (23:41):
It was the finale, and I wanted to cry because
someone spoiled it on X for me.
Speaker 10 (23:46):
You spoil it. I watched it happen. You spoiled it
for yourself. You knew not to go.
Speaker 7 (23:52):
Oh yeah, well I shouldn't have, but I just opened
up the app and literally the show aired at nine o'clock.
Speaker 15 (23:58):
At nine oh one, the spoiler was on the internet.
I'm like, how does that work?
Speaker 7 (24:02):
But anyway, I won't spoil it for anybody who hasn't
seen who won or if they split the money or not.
But you should watch it and the reunion there is
gonna be a reunion this year. August nineteenth, nine pm.
I hope nobody spoils that for me. I mean, Yolo,
but the.
Speaker 15 (24:21):
Host, are you automatics?
Speaker 7 (24:23):
Apparently we all know that she is on Broadway playing
Roxy Hard in Chicago. She took a little break over
the summer for Love Island, but she says she's been
rehearsing while she's been in Fiji filming, and we're excited
because she's back.
Speaker 15 (24:38):
August first, babes, it's going down.
Speaker 3 (24:40):
Okay, does anyone still watch Big Brother?
Speaker 15 (24:45):
No?
Speaker 3 (24:45):
I think it debuted last night. I believe it. We
were just flipping through the channels and there was there.
It was I'm like, is this still on? No offense?
I mean, does do you guys watch it? Or did
you ever?
Speaker 19 (24:56):
No?
Speaker 10 (24:57):
I know that people from Big Brother are getting fun
into other shows like the Challenges and stuff.
Speaker 1 (25:02):
So people pass.
Speaker 15 (25:03):
Yes and traders and traders yere you go. So we're excited,
all right, here we go.
Speaker 7 (25:10):
We talk about this all the time and I'm kind
of over it, but I think everybody wants to know
about it anyway. Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck. I mean
her birthday, she celebrated her birthday over the weekend and
she had two outings, an actual birthday party which was
a Bridgerton theme, and then she went out to brunch
or lunch the next day. He was absent the entire weekend.
(25:32):
I don't think that's I mean, it's kind of sad,
but like, girl just dropped the announcement, like, let us
know that you guys are done.
Speaker 15 (25:41):
I mean, let's move on.
Speaker 3 (25:42):
Well, it's weird. It seems like there's always like the
ring hunt, because one day they'll say, here's Jennifer Lopez
out without her ring, and then the next day, here
she is with her ring. It's like that seems like
the headline every single time there's a photo of one
of the ring or no ring.
Speaker 15 (25:56):
Yeah, why do you think it will.
Speaker 10 (25:58):
Take so long to make the announcement? Do you think
it's like they're waiting for the divorce papers to be
final and they don't want to screw up the Like
what is that about?
Speaker 3 (26:06):
Why did they care? What we think? I don't know,
just I.
Speaker 10 (26:08):
Don't think it's not what we think. I want to
know why they're taking Yeah, what's going on?
Speaker 3 (26:12):
Find out diamond gig.
Speaker 15 (26:13):
I'm on it, I'm on it.
Speaker 7 (26:15):
And while we're talking about broken marriages, Mauricio Umanski and
Kyle Emansky from Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. I mean,
we know that they separated maybe a year ago now,
but Mauricio was seen with a woman in an airport
and they were smooching in the airport. I mean, where's
the respect. Kyle's not out there kissing anybody, but apparently
(26:37):
it bothered her and she took wife out of her
bio on Instagram.
Speaker 3 (26:41):
I love it.
Speaker 15 (26:41):
I can't wait for this next season of Real Housewives
and Beverly Hills.
Speaker 6 (26:44):
There you go.
Speaker 3 (26:44):
It's so wild. It's another thing. Not only are they watching,
you know, for rings on Jennifer and Ben, but also
everyone keeps an eye on the profiles on social to
see if they've changed anything. And she did. Kyle took
wife off of profile. And now it's like a big look.
You made it a headline.
Speaker 15 (27:03):
It is a headline.
Speaker 7 (27:04):
I mean, she she made it seem like she was
gonna hold onto the marriage quote unquote, because it was
really nothing else left. I guess for as long as
she could. She said that they were like best friends
and stuff. But my girl dropped the wife and I
love that for her.
Speaker 3 (27:17):
Why not? But maybe she needed to see photos of
her ex or seem to be ex kissing someone in
an airport. Maybe that's what she needed to push her
over the edge.
Speaker 7 (27:26):
I mean it was her she wanted to separate, so
I mean, yolo, it happens, you don't want them, someone
else will.
Speaker 5 (27:33):
There you go.
Speaker 3 (27:34):
I knew you go to Bravo. Eventually there's she is
Diamond sitting in for Danielle. We love you, Diamond, tell her,
I said, thank you, okay. Line twenty is Kyle speaking
of traveling and hanging out waiting for your plane. It
took you and your family how many days to get
back to Richmond from the Bahamas?
Speaker 11 (27:53):
Its us two days.
Speaker 3 (27:55):
Dam And if you think about it, Richmond and the
Bahamas are not that far from me. I mean, if
you know on a map is only I can inch you.
Speaker 11 (28:03):
Yeah, it's not far at all.
Speaker 12 (28:05):
Like when you fly from Richmond to Fort Lauderdale it
takes about an.
Speaker 11 (28:08):
Hour and fifty minutes, and then to fly from Fort
Launderdale to Vimity takes maybe twenty five to half an hour.
So we were h yeah, it was it was we
didn't have anything packed. It was my wife, myself and
my seven year old. So we had like his Nintendo switch,
my cell phone and headphones, and then one little bag.
So it was a fantastic week. We got to swim
(28:32):
with sharks and go fishing, and then you come home
to absolute mayhem trying to get back home. So it was, uh, yeah,
it was an experience. It you know, it was a
week full of memories, but the last one was was
not something I wanted on my on my lift.
Speaker 3 (28:48):
Well, so what did you do for two days? You
just satting in our port or motel rooms somewhere. What'd
you do?
Speaker 11 (28:55):
Yeah, we we ubert over to Fort Lauderdale and just
chilled at the beach and went to restaurants, and then
once we realized that we weren't leaving anytime soon, we
had to book the hotel. So we did the hotel
and then we went out to heat and just tried
to take as much advantage of what we had. So
there could the worst places towards your tails.
Speaker 3 (29:16):
That sounds awesome. I would love I'd love to be
stranded with you and your family. It sounds like you
had more fun than a lot of people did this weekend.
So what do you think gone.
Speaker 11 (29:23):
That's why it wasn't too bad at all.
Speaker 12 (29:25):
My son got to swim in the pool, my wife
got our nose pierced.
Speaker 11 (29:28):
Just to go, you know, why not go out a
little bit of fun.
Speaker 3 (29:31):
I'm bored. I'm gonna have my body parts Pierce. Yes, Gondy,
what's up all right, Kyle?
Speaker 10 (29:35):
This vacation is on them, right because it was a
technical difficulty on their side.
Speaker 11 (29:41):
Yeah, so they have to We're still dealing with all
of that because obviously, like millions of people are dealing
with that as well. So they camped us like our
meals for the first night, and then we ended up
having our entire airline, you know, all of that was
completely canceled. We had to rebook with another airline because
we lucked out. My parents were watching our two year old.
Speaker 12 (30:03):
So we've got you know, mama camp at home for
Nana camp, and we're still trying to get home to him.
And we were like, oh, look, we're going to book
the closest one wee can get. And then we ended
up flying out of Jet Blue, you know, on a
midnight flight, and then finally landed in Mechanicsville and then
finally made it back yesterday.
Speaker 3 (30:21):
Well you're home now. Don't you wish you could have
been delayed just another day? See? I would, I would
be like totally fine with that.
Speaker 8 (30:27):
I don't know.
Speaker 3 (30:27):
Fort Lauderdale having dinner on the beach. Okay, sorry, where's
my wife? Oh she's getting her her private parts pierced?
Now she ran out of she ran out of nose.
Speaker 8 (30:36):
You know.
Speaker 3 (30:36):
Anyway, it sounds like he had a great time, Kyle.
I'm good for you. I we're gonna be stranded, to
be stranded in Fort Lauderdale, not a bad place.
Speaker 11 (30:44):
That's exactly right.
Speaker 12 (30:45):
That's why I shure it called.
Speaker 11 (30:46):
Froggy and just seeing you know how far away he was,
maybe he'd have picked us up.
Speaker 3 (30:50):
There you go. All right, thank you so much, Thank you, Kyle,
Welcome back to reality.
Speaker 12 (30:55):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (30:55):
I don't know.
Speaker 3 (30:55):
I don't know if i'd mind being spreaded for a future.
I mean, at least you have an excuse. What are
you gonna do?
Speaker 10 (31:00):
And I'm pretty sure these airlines do you have to
pick up a couple days of the hotel if you
can't get home?
Speaker 4 (31:04):
Right?
Speaker 3 (31:04):
I think so there's a credit or something.
Speaker 10 (31:07):
Live it up?
Speaker 4 (31:07):
Baby?
Speaker 3 (31:08):
All right? Hey, what do you have today? In your
bag of tricks, gandhi.
Speaker 10 (31:11):

of these songs were huge this time last year.
Speaker 3 (31:20):
All right, if you know your songs, if you remember
the songs from last summer, but only from the first beat.
There's a lot of a lot of rules here called Diamond.
Now she is taking your call. Eight hundred two four

Speaker 5 (32:11):
Was he great?
Speaker 13 (32:12):
It was awesome? It was just so so good, such
a great, great show. He really is awesome. Is he
has a cup holder on his mic stand? It's so funny.
He just has a solo cup all night with a
cup holder on the mic stand.
Speaker 9 (32:23):
It's great. And at some point during the night he
will fill that up with some alcohol of choice and
he will punt it into the stands.
Speaker 3 (32:29):
They did that, right, We love that.
Speaker 9 (32:31):
Anyway.
Speaker 3 (32:32):
I knew a lot of people that went to the show,
and Luke Combs another show you have to see. Even
if you're not into country music. Maybe you should consider
going because it really is a great show. Anyway. I
just bring up Luke Combs because maybe he could be
a part of this contest, this game that Gandhi put together.
Is it time to do it? Can we do it?
Speaker 11 (32:49):
Yeah?
Speaker 3 (32:49):
I do it all right, Gandhi. From the first beat,
just a few seconds of a song and you may
get it. This is a list of songs that huge
last summer.
Speaker 10 (33:01):
Right, Yes, these songs were all big last summer. And
because it is from the first beat, obviously one beat
isn't enough, but you do have one, maybe two seconds
of the song.
Speaker 15 (33:09):
That's it.
Speaker 10 (33:09):
That's all you got.
Speaker 5 (33:10):
Well.
Speaker 3 (33:11):
Megan's on line five listening to us in Fort Myers.
Speaker 1 (33:14):
Hey, Megan, hi, Elfie, how are you well?
Speaker 3 (33:18):
Well, You're you're going to determine how we are. Let's
see how much you know your music?
Speaker 5 (33:23):
You know your music?
Speaker 9 (33:24):
Right?
Speaker 3 (33:24):
You love music?
Speaker 6 (33:26):
Oh?
Speaker 5 (33:26):
I do.
Speaker 10 (33:27):
I was a big go to the beach, have your
radio on, so I'm hoping I'll be able to get them.
Speaker 3 (33:33):
All right, all right, you should know these. Let's see.
We're optimistic sometimes. I mean, even though you may know
a lot of music, a lot of songs, sometimes we
don't have the ones you know on our list. We'll
see if you do.
Speaker 10 (33:44):
Okay, we're going title and artists.
Speaker 3 (33:45):
Yeah, oh wow, we're going balls deep. No, yeah, do
you want to do title and artist?
Speaker 10 (33:52):
I like title and artists?
Speaker 3 (33:54):
Okay?
Speaker 10 (33:54):
Is everybody else okay with that?
Speaker 3 (33:56):
Sure, it's your, it's your, it's your game. Okay, which
says it? I'm very supportive right now, It's all right.

Speaker 5 (34:13):

should get the title.
Speaker 11 (34:52):

Speaker 7 (34:55):

Speaker 4 (35:34):
So that's yes tonight bye?
Speaker 7 (35:43):
Oh my gosh, who is it?
Speaker 3 (35:45):
Dance tonight?
Speaker 5 (35:46):
You could do it.
Speaker 3 (35:47):
She's kind of famous for having two claps in every song.
She was here several weeks ago.
Speaker 12 (35:53):
I'm gonna kick myself for this.
Speaker 3 (35:56):
Oh no, don't be doing that. No dance to Night.
That's dua lipa. Oh watch me?
Speaker 4 (36:11):
All right?
Speaker 3 (36:11):
All right, you got to dance to Night. But Gandhi's
not gonna give it to you because she wanted. She's
She's no fun anyway, here we go. Let me, let
me give you one one more and maybe we'll give
you a bone to see if you can you can
make it up? All right? Here is song number five.
Speaker 5 (36:30):
Yeah, you got me on that one. Wow?
Speaker 3 (36:35):
Is that coiler ray?
Speaker 10 (36:36):
Yes it is?
Speaker 3 (36:37):
Yeah, that's.
Speaker 6 (36:41):
Yeah?
Speaker 3 (36:43):
All right, okay, let's keep going until you get one right.
Here we go. Here is you're doing well? You started
off really strong. Here is song number six.
Speaker 11 (36:54):
Oh that's Liquor Talk by Morgan Law.
Speaker 3 (36:59):
Wait, what's the name of it?
Speaker 11 (37:01):
Last night?
Speaker 8 (37:08):
That was a close one.
Speaker 3 (37:09):
I knew you'd get it, all right, Okay, let's keep going.
This is let's just keep going. Here is a song
number seven.
Speaker 19 (37:20):
Oh, that's Paint the Town right by there.
Speaker 4 (37:22):
You go, don't.
Speaker 3 (37:26):
I love it?
Speaker 18 (37:26):
All right?
Speaker 3 (37:26):
Here is song number eight.
Speaker 12 (37:32):
Oh wow, is that Killed Bill by Sisa?
Speaker 5 (37:35):
Yes it is.
Speaker 8 (37:38):
Don't you glad we can go?
Speaker 4 (37:42):
Mm hmmm.
Speaker 8 (37:42):
All right.
Speaker 3 (37:43):
Here's a song number nine.
Speaker 12 (37:49):
You couldn't really hear that?
Speaker 18 (37:50):
Can you put that again?
Speaker 11 (37:51):
Yeah?
Speaker 3 (37:51):
It's kind of a weird clue. All right, listen closely.
Here it is huge song.
Speaker 5 (38:00):
I have no idea.
Speaker 3 (38:01):
Yeah, it's a big one, foggy.
Speaker 4 (38:03):
Do you know what it is?
Speaker 10 (38:04):
I do not either Danielle would know it.
Speaker 3 (38:07):
It's eyes closed ed. Shearon just does it with this close. Yeah,
it's it's hard to get it from that clue. He's like, wait,
it sounds familiar. I can't put my finger on it.
But here's another one. You'll get this one. What song
is number ten?
Speaker 11 (38:30):
That one that sounded bad too?
Speaker 17 (38:31):
Can you play it one more time?
Speaker 3 (38:32):
Yeah? Hm hmm, Yeah, these are she made it hard, dude,
did not make it hard?
Speaker 10 (38:46):
Can we ask Diamond if she knows that one?
Speaker 8 (38:48):
She's already jamming in there.
Speaker 3 (38:49):
Okay, she's she's listening to someone else.
Speaker 15 (38:53):
That is my girl lotto with lottery.
Speaker 4 (38:55):
Yeah, there you go.
Speaker 3 (38:56):
It's weird. Didn't you hear that part?
Speaker 18 (39:05):
Like?
Speaker 3 (39:05):
Oh, of course that you know?
Speaker 9 (39:06):
I don't know, but you did.
Speaker 3 (39:07):
Okay, she did. Okay, what do you have for us?
So we'll give you the either upper half or lower
half of a T shirt?
Speaker 5 (39:15):
What do you think?
Speaker 3 (39:16):
Oh? Stop it.
Speaker 5 (39:18):
Upper half probably has more support. Yeah, the lower half
would loo kind of funny. It's a crop top. Think
of it that way.
Speaker 3 (39:24):
We're gonna show you the whole shirt. Don't listen to him.
Speaker 5 (39:26):
We got it.
Speaker 3 (39:27):
We got a whole shirt on the way it's the
elvistrating morning show apparel.
Speaker 13 (39:30):
You got it.
Speaker 3 (39:30):
Congratulations, thank you so much, Oh thank you. You do
know your music well fifty percent of it. That's not bad.
Hold on one second. Yeah, it's weird. See you, guys.
I think women listen to music differently than guys. You
know that, right, Gandhi, I've heard that.
Speaker 5 (39:46):
Yeah, it's we don't hear lyrics when I hear a song,
I have no concept of what a song's about.
Speaker 9 (39:51):
That drives me crazy. Why because music is so deep
with the lyrics, especially like on the country side, Like
so many songs tell story and so that's why. Like
sometimes I'll hear a song like, oh man, it's a
great song and tells a great story, Like that song
tells a story, beauty words like what A mean?
Speaker 4 (40:09):
Yeah?
Speaker 8 (40:09):
I mean we're guys, I'm lucky to hear anything.
Speaker 3 (40:12):
We go to life oblivious to anything and everything. So
it's it's not you know, I have rewired. We don't
have any of that, all right, all right, great songs.
I mean, I can't believe some of these are they're
still in heavy rotation as we call it a year later.
Isn't that crazy?
Speaker 4 (40:32):
Anyway?
Speaker 9 (40:33):
I love that game.
Speaker 3 (40:34):
What else you got?
Speaker 10 (40:35):
Oh, give me a couple of minutes. I'll run in
the other room and come up. I'm sure we could
come up with a we could do a reverse connection.
Maybe I'll give you the category and you have to
guess the four songs that we play.
Speaker 9 (40:44):
Make sure drop in somet it's got some we're backwards?
Speaker 3 (40:49):
Would be if it's backwards, I don't know. Our friend
Tommy Jadario hosts. I've never said this before. It's a
podcast where he interviews our favorite actors and artists. Tommy,
who's on the podcast this week?
Speaker 5 (41:03):
Hey, Elvis, I have actors Elijah Taylor and Bob Morley
on the show today. Now they start in the hit
CW series The one hundred, and they open up about
really wanting to reboot the series.
Speaker 9 (41:13):
You don't want to miss it.
Speaker 3 (41:14):
I've never said this before. New episodes every Tuesday. Listen
on the iHeartRadio app or wherever you get your podcasts.
Speaker 6 (41:22):
Our Elvister ran in the morning show.
Speaker 3 (41:27):
Hey, hope you had a great weekend.
Speaker 8 (41:29):
I know we did.
Speaker 3 (41:29):
Danielle is still having a great weekend. She's up in Canada.
She's coming home, should be here tomorrow. H have you
heard from her. Has she reported back at all?
Speaker 10 (41:38):
Not since her airport Tobaccle.
Speaker 4 (41:40):
I haven't.
Speaker 3 (41:41):
Well, yeah, she was stuck at the airport, but you
got some texts from her, Froggy.
Speaker 9 (41:45):
I did get some text of her on Saturday and
a little bit yesterday.
Speaker 3 (41:48):
What is she doing up there?
Speaker 9 (41:49):
Just hanging out having a great time to go on
hiking with the family there, having a really really good time.
Speaker 3 (41:53):
Wow, what we should have gone with her at next time?
We're just talking about you know, what's next for vacation
and scary as like I don't know what to do
about vacation coming up. You got a whole world to
choose from. What's your what's your problem?
Speaker 5 (42:07):
Because you have to rule some things out late August
it is a time when like half the world is
off limits because of hurricanes and things.
Speaker 8 (42:13):
So I need to go someplace.
Speaker 3 (42:16):
You get that information half the world is not off
because of hurricane Where do you get this? The Caribbean
is a rough place to go except for Aruba.
Speaker 8 (42:24):
I don't know. I don't know where I should go.
And then there's.
Speaker 3 (42:27):
There's there's a whole So you're talking about your world
is about to have a hurricane.
Speaker 5 (42:33):
Well, right, Yeah, places that I would visit. But I'm
thinking about now going to Europe. But man, oh man,
it's expensive to travel.
Speaker 3 (42:41):
It is, it's very expensive. But you know, try to
trade in some miles. Don't you have the King of Miles?
Don't you have miles?
Speaker 9 (42:46):
Oh?
Speaker 3 (42:46):
Yeah, United, Baby, you should go What are you thinking about? Gandhi?
Speaker 4 (42:50):
Where?
Speaker 3 (42:50):
Where's your next adventure? Because you you take the most exotic,
wonderful vacations. I think anyway, what do you do? Fly away?
Speaker 10 (42:56):
Thanks? This time, I don't think we're gonna be flying away.
It looks like fingers crossed. Andrew Diamond, Josh and myself
are going to be hitting the road for another little
road trip. We're headed out west. We're going to try
and hit Teton, Yellowstone Glacier.
Speaker 3 (43:12):
Yeah, scary should join you.
Speaker 10 (43:17):
Well, the admission has been closed.
Speaker 3 (43:20):
Yeah, oh sorry.
Speaker 10 (43:21):
It's a small vehicle.
Speaker 5 (43:22):
They don't have a bunk for you, so much space.
Speaker 10 (43:26):
We've all driven with you.
Speaker 3 (43:28):
Yeah, yeah, you're a bad driver. You don't hike. No,
you know what I'm saying. You really should go someplace
that just has like mono rails and things like that.
Speaker 10 (43:36):
Like if a vehicle could have an anchor it would
be scary Jones. So I don't think we can.
Speaker 8 (43:41):
I think we have a lot of fun together.
Speaker 10 (43:42):
I think if it were anything besides something that had
to do with the outdoors and driving, you'd be great.
But those are two things you don't do. You don't
like that.
Speaker 3 (43:50):
Yeah, you'd like to be inside with no driving.
Speaker 8 (43:53):
Or outside on the beach with some a cocktail in
my hand.
Speaker 3 (43:56):
Okay, do that get back to us anyway? You should
always you should always have something on your calendar at
all times coming up, like get away. It could be
a weekend drive out of town or whatever you need that.
I find like, I go crazy if I don't have
something on the calendar coming up. I'm gonna go nuts.
Speaker 10 (44:14):
What are you doing? What's on the calendar?
Speaker 3 (44:16):
I don't know, No, No, I'll be I'm gonna go
to Santa Fe for a week. Oh, because you know,
I love it. I love it there. Hey, let's go
around the room, let's see what's on your mind. And
we're going to add a special guest today, Scotty Bee
is going to be in our room. Well, if you
guys are okay.
Speaker 9 (44:31):
With that, sure, all right.
Speaker 3 (44:34):
Let's start with producer Sam. What are you thinking about today, Sam.
Speaker 1 (44:36):
I am finally currently knocking something off of my bucket list.
I'm super psyched about. I'm watching The Sopranos for the first.
Speaker 4 (44:47):
Time.
Speaker 14 (44:47):
I don't know what took me so long, but it
is a whirlwind because unfortunately, a lot of these people
remind me of family members, both past and presence.
Speaker 1 (44:56):
So I'm really enjoying the show.
Speaker 14 (44:58):
But I'm also like kind of RK because I'm watching
I'm like, Auntie, I know you're watching this up there,
see you were paying the ass like it's a very
weird show to watch when you feel like your family
has that similar attitude.
Speaker 19 (45:08):
I am.
Speaker 1 (45:09):
I'm We're blowing through it. I'm already done with season two.
Speaker 18 (45:12):
Do you like it?
Speaker 11 (45:13):
I do it?
Speaker 1 (45:14):
Awesome?
Speaker 7 (45:15):
Good?
Speaker 3 (45:15):
Now do you have a lot of murder in your family?
Speaker 4 (45:17):
At Murders?
Speaker 3 (45:18):
We don't really talk about that too much, Okay, but
moving on, Hey, straight and eight with no mustache whatsoever?
Look out, look at his little baby face. Well so
what just real quick, why did you shave you your mustache?
Speaker 9 (45:29):
Wanted to talk about?
Speaker 7 (45:30):
So?
Speaker 5 (45:30):
I was just going to trim right. I was just
taking it down a notch and just trying to shape
it up a little bit, trying to even out the mustache,
and then whatever.
Speaker 3 (45:39):
You know, if a's a guy, you know this.
Speaker 5 (45:40):
If you go short on this side, you have to
go short on the other side, and then when you
go too short on that side, you got to balance
it out. So it got to the point where the
only option.
Speaker 3 (45:49):
I had, as far as a mustache would have would go,
would be the Hitler. And you can't do that.
Speaker 5 (45:54):
You kill you do that mustache anymore. You would rock
a blonde Hitler mustache. You don't need that.
Speaker 10 (45:59):
Yeah, if it's blonde, though, I don't know, I think
it's still a hit understash Okay, I mean, you know,
Charlie Chaplin had it before him, but Good Adolph had
to ruin it for everybody.
Speaker 5 (46:09):
So yeah, I mean every guy that has facial hair
has gone through that where you just have to go
down to square one and get a fresh palette.
Speaker 3 (46:19):
So you're gonna be fine. Yeah, I'll rebuild it. It'll
be back. So it's so funny though you were so
used to you with your mustache and your beard, it's
it's odd to look at you because you're like, who's that. Oh,
that's that's nice, which crazy too, because once you shave
it off, you know, I did it early in the
day and then I see myself in the mirror, like,
who the hell is that? Like you don't even recognize yourself, right,
So it's okay, you're fine. Thank you for not doing
(46:40):
the hitler though. We don't need that. Okay, what's up, Gandhi?
What are you thinking about today?
Speaker 5 (46:44):
All right?
Speaker 10 (46:44):
I know we usually talk about things you should watch,
but I would like to put something into the universe
that nobody should ever watch. It is called Picture Me Dead.
I should have known when I found it on to
BE that it was gonna be terrible, but to be,
oh my god, it was. It's supposed to be dark
and heavy and scary. It's kind of a remake of
a movie from the nineties that ruined my entire childhood
called Eye for an Eye. So I was like, oh,
(47:07):
this is gonna be good. Maybe it will reset everything. No,
just a god awful movie. Every aspect of it is terrible.
I texted Diamond and she was like, this is your
own fault for finding content on TV, so stay away,
do not watch that one. There's plenty of other stuff
out there. Don't watch it, And then say you watched
it because I told you not to, Because I'm telling
you so waste your time.
Speaker 3 (47:25):
What's it called again? Picture Me Did?
Speaker 10 (47:26):
Picture Me Dead?
Speaker 3 (47:28):
It sounds like an uplifting film to me. It's so
bad fun for the whole family. Picture Me Dead? Kids,
let's go see god Off. Sure we did. Hey, Froggy,
what's up with you today?
Speaker 9 (47:38):
So sometimes you gotta find joy in the little things.
And this is not that it's really so little, but
if you guys remember back in November, my dog, one
of my dogs, started not walking correctly, and we finally
finally found out about a month ago that he had
cancer in his foot, and so he had to have
an amputation done on a portion of his foot and
whatever else. He's been recovering. Just this past weekend and
we took him on his first walk that he's been
(48:00):
on a real long walk since November. And he's finally
running around like a puppy again. Oh that's so great.
Him do the things that he couldn't do is just
brought me so much joy watching him be a dog again,
and so find joy in the little things, and just
watching him be a puppy again has made everything so wonderful.
Speaker 3 (48:18):
So the little thing man, sometimes little things turned into
big things, you know.
Speaker 9 (48:22):
Yeah, no, it's great.
Speaker 3 (48:23):
It's great to see now our special guest in the
room as we go around the room, Scottie Bee.
Speaker 13 (48:27):
Every Hello, the set of one.
Speaker 4 (48:29):
Yeah.
Speaker 13 (48:30):
Most of you have known my kids since they were babies.
Speaker 9 (48:33):
Yeah.
Speaker 13 (48:33):
Can you believe that my daughter Ashley just passed her
road test last week? Which is insane to me. But
the thing is, the inspectors for the DMV are such jerks.
This was the most miserable dude I've ever seen in
my entire life.
Speaker 3 (48:46):
Really.
Speaker 13 (48:47):
I feel like, if you do something wrong, you know
at the DMV, like your punishment is to be an
inspector on road test for kids. That's got to be
what it is because nobody wants that job. So I
think that, you know, if there's an HR issue and
you get in trouble, you have to get a call
with a sixteen year old. So that's miserable people, the DMV,
the inspectors. Anyway, what did he do that was so miserable?
Is he miserable? Is he didn't say hello? He just
(49:09):
said get in the car and and she said the
whole way.
Speaker 3 (49:12):
He was just on her.
Speaker 13 (49:13):
Nope, that was wrong. Nope with the clipboard, and he
was just a miserable dude.
Speaker 10 (49:17):
That's what they're supposed to do to drive.
Speaker 13 (49:20):
But you're supposed to make people comfortable, I mean, not
more nervous.
Speaker 10 (49:23):
Not really when you when you actually drive, there are
going to be people who make you uncomfortable.
Speaker 3 (49:28):
Yeah.
Speaker 5 (49:28):
Yeah, the world.
Speaker 13 (49:29):
But he just wasn't nice at all, not even hello,
have a nice stay, none of that.
Speaker 7 (49:32):
Ye.
Speaker 6 (49:33):
Well, the world.
Speaker 3 (49:34):
I know, I know you want to protect her, she's
your daughter and everything, but oh, the world can be
the world can be a cruel place. Better learn now, Yeah,
there you have it anyway, all right, Well this is
where Danielle would say something but she's not here. Then
I would say, hey, Danielle, what do you have coming
up on your report? Well, she can't tell us because
she's not here, but she'll be back tomorrow. Can Diamond
throw something else together for us?
Speaker 10 (49:54):
I think she could, Diamond.
Speaker 3 (49:57):
We'll do that in a little bit, but you know,
we also have to do the one thousand dollars combos
free money phone tap. We'll get into that next hang out.
Speaker 16 (50:05):
Another free money phone tap coming up next. Calling here
for the Elvis Duran in the Morning Show. Free money
phone tap, don't purchase necessary going to Montana, New Mexico,
Washington and we're prohibited. For more info and rules, go
to Elvis Duran dot com slash contact Elvis Duran in
the Morning Show.
Speaker 1 (50:26):
I love it.
Speaker 6 (50:27):
I love Elvis Duran in the Morning Show.
Speaker 8 (50:30):
You know, shame on me.
Speaker 3 (50:31):
We did the round the Room segment a second ago,
and I never went to Scary to see what his
thoughts for the day were, So I need to We
need to go back to around the room for just
a second.
Speaker 8 (50:40):
Scary.
Speaker 5 (50:41):
Yeah, what's on your mind today? Well, I'm a little
stressed about going to the dentist. I have my six
month checkup and cleaning, and I feel like I'm gonna
get scolded by the dentist because six months ago he said, hey, man,
be proactive and take out that top left wisdom tooth,
because even though it doesn't hurt and you don't need
(51:01):
to take it out, it looks like it's getting hard
to clean back there. So he wrote me a script
six months ago to go see an oral surgeon and
have it taken out. I've yet to do that, and
today I have my cleaning with my dentists. I feel
like he's gonna be like, dude, I told you six
months ago, what time is your cleaning with the dentist?
Speaker 8 (51:17):
Eleven thirty?
Speaker 11 (51:18):
Oh?
Speaker 3 (51:19):
Can we just pull your tooth out for you?
Speaker 10 (51:22):
I thinks I don't know.
Speaker 5 (51:24):
I don't know what it was about, not about not
pulling or taking action because something just does you know,
it doesn't because it's it's your tooth.
Speaker 3 (51:31):
No one wants to do anything when it comes to
pulling teeth. It's not something we all, Oh wow, I'm
in a great movie because I get to pull a
tooth today. I don't want to say that apple card.
Speaker 8 (51:39):
Nothing hurts.
Speaker 5 (51:39):
I feel fine, and but he's like, you gotta preemptively
just take it out, just take that tooth out. But
if I'm not feeling pain, I don't feel the need
or the urge to go get it done.
Speaker 10 (51:49):
You should definitely wait till it hurts.
Speaker 3 (51:51):
No, I have on the turning now. It's been hurting
for a couple of weeks.
Speaker 4 (51:58):
I know.
Speaker 3 (51:59):
I know it's gonna happen. I feel pretty good about it.
It's good it doesn't fall out on its own. God,
you know, when you're a kid, they just fall out
what happened to those days?
Speaker 10 (52:09):
I mean, as an adult, they can still fall out.
I just don't think you want them to.
Speaker 3 (52:13):
Yeah, you're right, You're right, You're right. It's just, you know,
even though you have the world's best dentist, you know, Gandhi.
Speaker 10 (52:18):
I I love him, Doctor Rellman.
Speaker 3 (52:20):
Hello, even when they're the best dentist, you don't want
to go because it didn't you know, it may involve
someone pulled a good tooth out of your head.
Speaker 10 (52:26):
So yeah, I mean that's fair.
Speaker 3 (52:29):
Yeah, all right. Anyway, I may have to go see him,
but don't tell you when I'm going. I'm gonna change
my name.
Speaker 10 (52:33):
Okay, all right.
Speaker 3 (52:36):
Oh, so this week we've got thousand dollars free money
phone taps thanks for a friend at Combos. Let's do it.
Speaker 6 (52:41):
Let's get that free money phone.
Speaker 3 (52:45):
You know what I always say if I'm about to
catch a plane, I always got to run into the
uh the gift shop at the airport and buy me
a bag of Combos. I love Conbos. I can't imagine
being on the plane. I think I would feel weird
for lying without it. Without the without a bag of Combos,
It's like my good luck charm. Right, Yeah, I don't
know if this thing's gonna land without combos.
Speaker 10 (53:07):
On multiple occasions you have made a stuff on the
way and to grab your combos because you say it's
good luck it is anyway.
Speaker 3 (53:12):
I love combos. It's the ultimate stuffed snack. You don't
have to wait for a flight to get them. Have
them in the house at all times. They're great for
you on the go or just when friends are over.
That perfect crunch, that creamy flavor in the middle. I
love that. Plus, you know they don't really make a mess.
There's no fuss, no musk with combos. Have you noticed
that shareable? You've never had a bag of combos and
(53:34):
not sharing it?
Speaker 9 (53:35):
Right now?
Speaker 3 (53:36):
Can you eat? Do you eat a whole combo or
do you eat like a little half of it that
eat the other whole thing? Yeah, me too, I cram
it all in combos cheddar cheese cracker, the classic combination
of crunchy oven baked crackers creamy filling made with real cheese.
They also have the ranch dip pretzel because you know,
ranches all over the place.
Speaker 5 (53:56):
Ranch is hot.
Speaker 3 (53:56):
The kids loving a ranch anyway, Well, thanks to combos,
I know you want to back now, thanks to Combos,
you're about to win a thousand dollars with the free
money phone tap if you call her one hundred one
eight hundred two four to two zero one hundred. Thank

Speaker 19 (54:18):
All right, So David Amanda work for an ac and
heating company, and their aunt Carly said, all right, mss
Moscallopsis needs to call and mess with them.
Speaker 17 (54:28):

Speaker 3 (54:31):
Oh she's so irritating.
Speaker 17 (54:32):
Oh be nice old people.
Speaker 3 (54:34):
No, I'm nice to old people. It's miss Moscallopsis drives
me nice. Yeah, sorry, Miss mosculosis Hi.
Speaker 9 (54:41):

Speaker 18 (55:03):
Oh you know you're calling the wrong place.
Speaker 10 (55:05):
Uh, Huh.
Speaker 18 (55:07):
It's it's an air conditioning and heat story.
Speaker 17 (55:09):
That's what I'm looking for some new teeth.
Speaker 18 (55:11):
It's it's heat, right, like I said.
Speaker 19 (55:14):
Teeth teeth. I'll come in around to. You have an
apartment around two.
Speaker 7 (55:18):
Are you looking to get some heat?
Speaker 12 (55:20):

Speaker 17 (55:21):
Yes, I got my backup teeth in there, but it's
not the same.
Speaker 12 (55:25):
Uh all right.
Speaker 19 (55:27):
If you put my name down, it's Moscolopsis Linda Moskol Lobsis.
Speaker 17 (55:30):

Speaker 18 (55:32):
He can get I'm not a teeth place. It's for heat,
air conditioning and.
Speaker 17 (55:37):

Speaker 17 (55:44):

Speaker 18 (56:44):
It is disrespectful for you to keep on calling a
business and harassing us. You clearly have sight problems and
hearing problem.
Speaker 17 (56:50):
Oh my gosh, that's not very nice.
Speaker 18 (56:52):
I am saying that. I am saying that because you
keep on looking for us to fix your teeth.

Okay, we'll leave that alone. Yeah, we've had a weird day,
and mercury isn't even in retrograde. But this whole place
has fallen to hell.
Speaker 10 (58:48):
It's exciting what's going on around here?
Speaker 3 (58:50):
There's nothing exciting. This is all bad.
Speaker 10 (58:52):
So it's bad, but here's I feel like it's really
important that we're figuring all this stuff out because then
we can fix it if we know that something's wrong.
Speaker 3 (59:02):
No, yeah, yeah, okay, let's just hope we get through
this alive and thanks to Combos, the ultimate stuff to
snack another one thousand dollars free money phone tap tomorrow.

Speaker 6 (01:01:03):
Yeah, let's Elvis Da ran in the morning show.
Speaker 3 (01:01:09):
So much to talk about. We gotta talk about the Olympics.
I think the opening ceremonies are Friday. Is that true?
Speaker 20 (01:01:14):
Yeah?
Speaker 4 (01:01:15):
I think so.
Speaker 3 (01:01:16):
Are you excited about the new Olympic sport they're adding
this year, breaking break dancing.
Speaker 15 (01:01:22):
I can't wait.
Speaker 10 (01:01:24):
I'm so excited to see that.
Speaker 3 (01:01:25):
I know when I first heard this, so I'm like,
they're what I thought it was a joke. It's true. Yeah,
they're breaking mm hmm.
Speaker 10 (01:01:31):
And it took them a while to get this sport
in the Olympics. They've been working on her.
Speaker 2 (01:01:34):
For a bit.
Speaker 3 (01:01:36):
God, I don't know what I think about it. I
just need to see it in action before I can
actually determine whether I like it or not. I mean,
I love the thought of it, you know, I mean,
here comes the German breaking She's popping in locking. You
have to be old to understand that term. Think that's
(01:01:56):
a term for breakdancing. It's popping in locker. Do you
know you're looking at me like I have Oh, no, diamond,
Do you know anything about break dancing?
Speaker 7 (01:02:09):
Just from what I've seen on the internet. Honestly, you
know how to pop in lock. I've tried a few times,
but I don't really have the rhythm required for it,
like you tell it like bare minimum rhythm. I have it,
but when it comes to like pop lock.
Speaker 15 (01:02:22):
I have to be drunk, you know.
Speaker 3 (01:02:23):
Okay, all right?
Speaker 10 (01:02:24):
I used to what I'm sorry?
Speaker 3 (01:02:29):
Is that a part of break dancing?
Speaker 5 (01:02:30):
The worm? The worm used to used to take the
refrigerator box and used to flatten it out and used
to do the worm?
Speaker 3 (01:02:37):
Okay, well I remember, you know you'd get on your
back and spind like a turtle on its back.
Speaker 11 (01:02:43):
Right.
Speaker 3 (01:02:44):
Anyway, what you show us? Can you do the worm
around the room?
Speaker 8 (01:02:47):
Scary going, Oh my god, you don't want to see
me do the worm?
Speaker 10 (01:02:49):
Now?
Speaker 3 (01:02:50):
Yes, we do.
Speaker 8 (01:02:51):
You're trying to make me do push ups at the
workout facility. I can't even do them.
Speaker 1 (01:02:55):
You could do to scary.
Speaker 5 (01:03:00):
I don't know was on the floor.
Speaker 3 (01:03:02):
I mean, there he goes. You're not getting far. We're
like a slug by the way. The worm should not
be so painful. Why was recording that? We heard it?
I mean, what you what you heard is what we saw.
(01:03:22):
It's like, are you okay?
Speaker 8 (01:03:24):
I'm okay, I'm right, I'm all right. But man, I
not as agile laws as I once was.
Speaker 4 (01:03:30):
Do we have eight?
Speaker 3 (01:03:31):
No stopping us?
Speaker 19 (01:03:32):
By?
Speaker 5 (01:03:32):
All?
Speaker 19 (01:03:32):
Is?
Speaker 3 (01:03:32):
Ali and Jerry? Should we play that?
Speaker 8 (01:03:36):
That's from breaking to Electric Boogoloo?
Speaker 3 (01:03:38):
Hold on a second, exactly get that. Nate actually went
to a break dance battle in La So I didn't
go to it, right.
Speaker 5 (01:03:44):
So I was in my apartment I had just moved there,
and like at one o'clock in the morning, I hear
this music out in the alley behind my apartment. So
I opened the window and I look, and there's these
two gangs. I'm not kidding. They were having a full
on break dance bat in this alley at one of
the Love and the Knives required it. It's nice, yeah,
(01:04:05):
you battle by dance and this one kid, my god,
did he have moves? And they put down the like
Scary said, They put down the cardboard and they just
start spinning and dancing. They had a boom box. It
was the most crazy thing I've ever seen.
Speaker 3 (01:04:17):
I wonder, Yeah, what is he scary in a breakdance
battle on the street? So, oh, here it is?
Speaker 8 (01:04:26):
Remember Turno and Ozone?
Speaker 3 (01:04:29):
Oh my god, we can't play this here, can we?
I mean I wanted to play it. I'm just play
it all right. Ollie and Jerry, Allie meet Jerry, Jerry.
Speaker 8 (01:04:37):
This is Olie.
Speaker 3 (01:04:41):
And Gary d'antina were the only morning show playing that
song today.
Speaker 13 (01:04:45):
Ain't no stop as.
Speaker 3 (01:04:48):
Olie and Jerry now known as Ben and Jerry the
ice cream Magnets anyway. So break dancing, yeah, break dancing
the new one. Are there any other new categories or
sports coming into the Olympics other than break Nancy or breaking?
Speaker 10 (01:05:03):
A great question? I should go look that up. I
don't know off the top of my head.
Speaker 3 (01:05:06):
So the ceremonies are Friday, who is it representing the usfah.
Speaker 10 (01:05:10):
Lebron James is going to be the person carrying the flag.
It was announced this morning. They're not sure who the
woman is going to be accompanying him as the flag bearer.
That's going to be announced tomorrow.
Speaker 3 (01:05:20):
Well, okay, it's Friday. I'm excited. I love the Olympics,
especially sunger Olympics. Absolutely Scare will be in the break
breaking category next year. He's already doing the worm across
the studio.
Speaker 8 (01:05:32):
And in the fence that chain link fence or whatever
the you name.
Speaker 3 (01:05:35):
You rename it every three seconds? Did you get the video?
Can you post that?
Speaker 4 (01:05:39):
I did?
Speaker 10 (01:05:40):
I did get it, and I did post it. If
anybody wants to see it, it's up right now at
Baby Hot Sauce. But I did tag all of you.
So as soon as everybody accepts it and the show
accepts it, it'll be everywhere.
Speaker 3 (01:05:52):
Okay, perfect, All right, So Danielle is out today. She'll
be back tomorrow. But until then, we've got Diamond filling
in the blanks. You know, there's gonna be something about
the Bravo Network in each and every Diamond Report. Where
do you want to start to what do you have
going on today?
Speaker 7 (01:06:07):
I'm gonna start with Love Island USA, because someone just
texted in about it and it got me excited. Let
me know that I'm not the only person who spent
the past what three weeks dying over the show. If
you have nothing else to do for the next two
weeks or three, watch Love Island USA. It's the best
TV that I've seen in a long time. And you know,
(01:06:27):
I said, yes, it's so much drama. It's just young
kids in bathing suits kissing all day. But the drama
is ten out of ten. Anyway, the finale aired last night.
We know who the winner is. I'm not gonna spoil it.
I won't spoil whether they split the one hundred thousand
dollars prize for you right now, but I mean somebody
dropped the album.
Speaker 15 (01:06:47):
I'll give that.
Speaker 7 (01:06:48):
That's tea you know, really love it. Yeah, and the
person didn't say it back. Okay, that's the only spoiler
I'm gonna give. Anyway, Let's talk about Drake. Fifty cent
performed in Toronto, and it looks like Drake has one
ally within like the rap community. At this point, somebody
is a friend to him. He and fifty cent were
hanging out in Toronto after fifties up performance, and I
(01:07:10):
think it's good that Drake has somebody to lean on.
And it's great that he's friends with someone who will
troll people for him. You know it kind of cool,
you know whatever. J Lo celebrated her birthday this weekend
two outings. One was a bridgeton birthday party and the
other one was like an intimate lunch or brunch with family.
Her husband of one year was not there, and I'm
(01:07:33):
waiting for the split announcement? What are we waiting for?
They didn't hang out or celebrate their anniversary together. He
didn't celebrate her birthday with her. What's happening here? Drop
the announcement and go your separate ways. My girl, listen,
she looks good. She'll find someone soon.
Speaker 14 (01:07:51):
It is what it is.
Speaker 3 (01:07:52):
Do we really deserve an announcement?
Speaker 4 (01:07:54):
Must?
Speaker 3 (01:07:54):
Must you have an announcement to the world?
Speaker 5 (01:07:56):
Yes?
Speaker 18 (01:07:57):
Really?
Speaker 10 (01:07:58):
I think if you put your coupled up on display,
like hey, here we are, and you make it a thing,
then yeah, when you break up, if people ask you
shouldn't be surprised that they want to know.
Speaker 3 (01:08:08):
Yep, well wait, let me ask you this. That's a
very good point. But did they put their relationship on
display or did we put it on display?
Speaker 19 (01:08:14):
Oh?
Speaker 15 (01:08:14):
No, they did.
Speaker 10 (01:08:15):
They did a little bit.
Speaker 3 (01:08:16):
Okay, all right, all right.
Speaker 7 (01:08:18):
I mean, okay, Bravo News, we're here. Okay, do you
guys know who Lindsay Hubbard.
Speaker 10 (01:08:25):
Is the Bachelor.
Speaker 15 (01:08:27):
No, she's from Okay, you know what kind of close?
Speaker 7 (01:08:29):
Not really, but she's from Summerhouse and she's honestly probably
the reason why a lot of people tuned in this
past season. She went through a very public split with
her past fiance what's his name Carl this past year,
and now she's pregnant out of nowhere by someone else,
and we love the tea right especially because they're about
(01:08:51):
to start filming again. But people dug up who her fiance,
I mean, who her new boyfriend is and her baby daddy,
and we're trying to figure out, like how they figure
it out. We'll get that answer during the season. I
guess it'll air like next year or whatever. But she
announced that she's having a baby girl, so people are excited.
I don't know, she's gonna be fighting in that house
this summer and we have to wait months to watch it.
Speaker 3 (01:09:12):
But you love these shows so much.
Speaker 15 (01:09:14):
It's a ten out of ten experience.
Speaker 10 (01:09:16):
She was watching like two seasons at the same time,
trying to get me to watch the seasons, and I
was like, I don't think I could take this sea.
Speaker 3 (01:09:22):
Isn't that a bit confusing watching two seasons of the
same show at the same time.
Speaker 7 (01:09:26):
Well, yeah, but I guess it's my thing now because
I also watched a season of Love Island UK and
Love Island USA at the same time.
Speaker 15 (01:09:33):
It's insane. It's a lot to keep up with, especially
which is these shows air every day?
Speaker 5 (01:09:37):
Which is better?
Speaker 7 (01:09:39):
Usually UK is better, but this season USA brought it.
I mean, I can't recommend it enough.
Speaker 15 (01:09:44):
It's the best. It's the best TV I've seen in
a long time.
Speaker 7 (01:09:47):
Another baby announcement Patrick Mahones and his wife Brittany. We
knew that she was pregnant, but we got a gender
reveal through like a tic Tec toe game. It was
really really cute. They're having a baby girl, and I
want to know if Taylor Swift going to help them
name the baby the way that she does Blake Lively
and Ryan Reynolds. I think that that would be really
cute since they're all like double dating and.
Speaker 15 (01:10:06):
Stuff these days. Okay, I'll end with Jojo Siwa.
Speaker 7 (01:10:12):
She is celebrating having the most dislikes on a YouTube video,
and I think it's hilarious.
Speaker 3 (01:10:21):
First of all, is anyone surprised?
Speaker 7 (01:10:22):
No?
Speaker 10 (01:10:23):
No, I was wondering how many of.
Speaker 15 (01:10:24):
Us added to those Diamond, Uh, probably one hundred werey.
Speaker 3 (01:10:29):
But but it seemed to be like the end thing
to really dislike her. I mean she is disliked. I
mean is she's just so awkward and I don't understand.
Speaker 10 (01:10:40):
Have you have you seen any of the stuff she's
been doing late?
Speaker 3 (01:10:43):
Yes, yeah, it's it's cringy, but okay, declaring.
Speaker 10 (01:10:46):
That you created gay pop is something. It's she declared that,
and I think that's what really sent her down the
dark spiral three.
Speaker 3 (01:10:54):
Who cares? Who created gay pop? Own it?
Speaker 7 (01:10:58):
See what three point one million dislikes? That's insane, that's insane.
She passed Ariana Grande and Taylor Swift with the yes
and and Fortnite. So I mean, good news for Taylor,
but I love this for Jojo. She's she's living in it.
Speaker 15 (01:11:15):
It's okay, okay, and that's fine. Diamond doing Danielle report.
Speaker 8 (01:11:19):
Yeah, there you go.
Speaker 3 (01:11:20):
Someone sent in a suggestion, Scoop with d coop.
Speaker 4 (01:11:25):
Come on, d Coop.
Speaker 3 (01:11:26):
I like texture from the nine ozer four I appreciate that,
all right, So okay, I'm just still kind of reeling
over scary on the floor doing the worm. So you
did post the video, right, it's.
Speaker 10 (01:11:38):
The video, Yeah, it's where is it? It's at Baby
Hot Sauce right now and my stories. Let's go see
if the Elvis Show has a excepted.
Speaker 9 (01:11:45):
I can't get I can't get past what Nate said?
Speaker 3 (01:11:48):
What Nate?
Speaker 9 (01:11:49):
What did you say?
Speaker 5 (01:11:50):
It looked like he did look like a worm. He
looked like a seal trying to get out a rock.
Speaker 8 (01:11:56):
I'm not mobile as I once was.
Speaker 9 (01:11:59):
No, not at all the Morning Show? Are we on?

the Morning Show. You know, I got a wild, wild
touch of reality yesterday. I walked into the garage and
I couldn't get in because of all of the cardboard
from all of the Amazon deliveries over the past several weeks.
I don't know what's going on there. For some reason
we needed supplies. I don't know what are you gonna say?
Speaker 19 (01:12:50):
Then?
Speaker 3 (01:12:50):
Of course, you know we had we had the big sale.
We have two days of prime going on, right, But uh,
it's insane how much how many boxes we have to
break down to take to recycling. Do you have a
ton of that as well?
Speaker 11 (01:13:03):
I do?
Speaker 10 (01:13:04):
And I'm the horrible person that keeps my boxes because
I'm positive I'll be using them for something else in
the future.
Speaker 3 (01:13:10):
Are you hoarding boxes?
Speaker 10 (01:13:11):
Yeah?
Speaker 15 (01:13:11):
I think so?
Speaker 3 (01:13:14):
Wow, Okay, yeah, I don't know how I got to
this point, but I mean, it's a mountain.
Speaker 5 (01:13:20):
It is a mountain.
Speaker 3 (01:13:21):
It's gonna take years to get rid of all this cardboard.
Speaker 10 (01:13:24):
You can probably build the coolest fort. We should come
over and dry.
Speaker 5 (01:13:27):
Yeah, let's let's build a fort. What about Yeah, Garrett,
what's up? So it's my job to take the boxes
out in my house. I feel guilty every like garbage
day that I have to take all those boxes out
because there's so many that you can't break them all
down because it would be like a day's worth of
breaking down boxes. So I have that guilt of like
is they're all my neighbors are judging me based off
(01:13:48):
of the number of boxes I'm bringing to the curb.
Speaker 3 (01:13:50):
Yeah, they're watching. Everyone's keeping an eye on the on
the Garrett house. Yeah. God, there, look at all the
Amazon boxes, tons of them. It's an ins insane Garrett.
I'm glad to hear to do sound. But did you
you started season six of Cobra Kai?
Speaker 5 (01:14:04):
Yes, over the weekend too, And it's one of those like,
all right, I wanted to last because it's only half
the season. I did the whole thing, so I don't
know what to do now.
Speaker 3 (01:14:14):
Well, okay, so now we wait how many months until
we get the second half of the sixth season? I
hate they know that they do this November. Oh oh god,
that's horrible.
Speaker 5 (01:14:24):
And I think we're so trained, We're so trained to
get it right away. So I guess it's a good
thing to kind of just change it up a bit
for us. But well, you know, we can complain to
Ralph Maccio. He's going to be in here later this week.
Is that cool? I cannot wait. I have the headband.
I'm so excited. I'm gonna wear it to work. Please
do not wear the headband. I'm gonna go to Amazon
and order another headband.
Speaker 9 (01:14:44):
I need more.
Speaker 3 (01:14:46):
Gone. You're about to say.
Speaker 10 (01:14:47):
Something, Oh yeah, it was just about the boxes.
Speaker 3 (01:14:49):
We foud okay, back to the boxes and no, no problem,
we can go back to boxes.
Speaker 10 (01:14:52):
Oh no, I was just gonna say, I kind of
judge the people who won't break down their boxes. It
doesn't take you a whole day. It's one little swipe
of a knife and then you flatten it.
Speaker 15 (01:15:00):
That's it.
Speaker 3 (01:15:00):
Yeah, Garrett, easier said than done. All right, come to
my house.
Speaker 10 (01:15:03):
I do it all the time.
Speaker 9 (01:15:04):
We all do it.
Speaker 5 (01:15:06):
I almost got fined in my building for not breaking
down not breaking down the boxes, because they have our
apartment numbers on them.
Speaker 3 (01:15:11):
So it's like, duh, so you're caught, you're caught. I was.
They issued me a warning.
Speaker 5 (01:15:16):
They said, next time, that's going to be a two
hundred dollars fine to the you know, to the amenity.
Speaker 10 (01:15:23):
Yeah, because like in a part of the buildings, if
you don't break it down, somebody else has to. I
don't know what garrett situation is, but for us, if
we don't do it, we're just saying someone else would
be doing the work. That would take us two seconds
to do.
Speaker 5 (01:15:32):
It's so true.
Speaker 10 (01:15:33):
It's like not putting your heart back yet.
Speaker 1 (01:15:34):
Jerk.
Speaker 3 (01:15:35):
Well, I think what Garretts saying is they order way
too much stuff from Amazon.
Speaker 5 (01:15:39):
Yeah, I stop cutting them and I just jump on
the boxes. If I can't jump on them and break them,
that that that's it. Wow, God, it's come to this. Also,
you went to did you see Twisters over the weekend?
Speaker 11 (01:15:51):
Yes?
Speaker 5 (01:15:51):
I did such a fun summer movie too. If you
want to go see it, definitely go see it. It's
not like the first, but it's definitely fun. Glenn Powell,
I'm falling in love with him. I think he's he's
the next person, the next star movie star out there.
Speaker 3 (01:16:06):
He's got this said. He's like the modern day Matthew McConaughey.
But he doesn't smell right.
Speaker 5 (01:16:13):
He looks like he smells great though, by the way.
But yeah, he's so fun in it. Anthony Ramos is
great in it. It's it's a lot of fun. It's
a good, good summer movie. I think they were all
at to Luke Comb's concert yesterday on Saturday. Yeah, they
shot today, Yeah they shotgun some beers. Cool thing about
what Luke Combs did for his whole staff was they're
at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey. So before they set
(01:16:34):
up all the seats at MetLife Stadium, Luke Comb's pretty
much put a big screen, the screen that he uses
on stage, and they watch Twisters in MetLife Stadium, him
and his crew without anybody else around.
Speaker 9 (01:16:46):
That's cool.
Speaker 3 (01:16:46):
I love Luke Combs. Every time I hear a story
about Luke Combs, I love him even more. All right,
let's get some sound in here. What are you going on?
Speaker 5 (01:16:51):
Let's talk about some music. Childish Gambino's album is out.
It is great. So this is called Yoshino.
Speaker 6 (01:16:57):
Yeah, don't know, yest mouth cast.
Speaker 3 (01:17:04):
This is my life, must choice, this is my life.
Speaker 5 (01:17:08):
The last child this Gambino album will ever hear apparently,
So now, why did he say he wanted to get
out of that. I think he wants to get more
into acting, so he wants to move on and transition
just solely into acting. Now switching gears in music, Scary's
favorite artist of all time, Weird Al, has a new
album out and it's all polka covers of our favorite artists.
Speaker 3 (01:17:27):
So here is one of Billie Eilish and Bad guy.
Speaker 5 (01:17:30):
So you're a top guy.
Speaker 3 (01:17:31):
I get really rough guy.
Speaker 4 (01:17:33):
Just get enough guy.
Speaker 5 (01:17:34):
Just don't wait for buff guy.
Speaker 8 (01:17:36):
I'm that bad type.
Speaker 5 (01:17:37):
Beg your mama, sad time, bad type.
Speaker 3 (01:17:41):
Seconds are bad type.
Speaker 5 (01:17:43):
Scary ready guy.
Speaker 4 (01:17:46):
I love him.
Speaker 3 (01:17:47):
You see no wrong in my world.
Speaker 5 (01:17:49):
I just I look.
Speaker 3 (01:17:51):
I've been around a long time and I've never really
understood the hype behind weird Al.
Speaker 5 (01:17:55):
Twelve year old scariest fangirling. I wasn't really much a
fan of his pokest stuff. You'd always do Poka stuff
every on every album. I like his parodies, his song
parody Car, He's the best that ever did it? Do
you think? Weird Al went to Billie Eilish at the
airport and asked to cover the song No No, all right,
So let's transition Chris Cornell. He would have been sixty
years old on Saturday, and his wife posted a montage
(01:18:18):
of photos and videos throughout his life, and she also
used a song that he did of fast Car. Speaking
of Luke Comb's and great things he does. Luke Combs
covered fast Car Tracy Chapman's cover of that, of course,
so here's Chris Cornell doing Tracy Chapman's Fast Car.
Speaker 4 (01:18:39):
You fast, car. I want to take it anywhere.
Speaker 3 (01:18:44):
Maybe we can make a deal a wow, maybe any
other we can get some.
Speaker 2 (01:18:48):
Well faces better stun from shing loose.
Speaker 10 (01:18:54):
Maybe we'll make something me myself.
Speaker 4 (01:18:57):
I got nothing.
Speaker 3 (01:19:05):
That sounds so good. Yeah, wow, I got I got
goosebumps on that. Jim And has some new music out.
This is called who Sounds great.
Speaker 5 (01:19:24):
And his music videos are like full produced movies too
so and it's doing very well on YouTube. Alessia Carra
is back with some new music and older sounding Alessia Kara.
This gave me vibes of Amy Winehouse. This is called
dead Man.
Speaker 17 (01:19:38):
Huge, It's you.
Speaker 3 (01:19:53):
It's so good to hear from Alessia Kara. I've always
always loved her vibe. She's such a such a wonderful woman,
and she's a remember she was a girl when she
came to us at the beginning. Wow, and then finally too.
We're just talking about twisters.
Speaker 5 (01:20:05):
And the whole album is a fun country album and
jelly Roll has some music on it called dead End
Road and this is what it sounds like.
Speaker 6 (01:20:15):
Life and any.
Speaker 4 (01:20:16):
Time loud that feels too good and cool.
Speaker 8 (01:20:23):
They see I'm just drink digging me deeper to see.
Speaker 5 (01:20:32):
Wow, that sounds awesome.
Speaker 3 (01:20:33):
Yeah, Jelly Roll is in the studio NonStop, is he not.
I mean he's got more music out there than more
music than bb REXA song coming out with Machine Gun
Kelly as well. Really yep, I love that. I love
him and you're good America, Carreck, thank you so much.
I gotta tell you looking back at last week, and
I'm just watching some of the interviews online all week
(01:20:54):
and long. I think one of my favorite moments was
when Joe Jonas draw buying his new song. This is
work it out, Joe Jonas, and work it out. This
album that's coming out, I believe in October from Joe
Jonas is supposed to have a lot of collaboration on there,
so and he's keeping it all quiet. He's not telling
us who he's collaborating with. So anyway, we love Joe Jonas.
(01:21:16):
So you have a new connection for today? Do you
have audio connection?
Speaker 10 (01:21:20):
It's an audio connection.
Speaker 3 (01:21:22):
Just tell us what it is.
Speaker 6 (01:21:23):
No, it's not how it works.
Speaker 4 (01:21:25):
You got a guess.
Speaker 3 (01:21:26):
I gotta tell you New York Times connections this weekend.
I was hitting them out of the park, man, I'm
getting them.
Speaker 10 (01:21:31):
Oh it's excited. I haven't played today, but I haven't
played today either, I am. I was so excited, so
I didn't realize that they were listening to the show
and they hear that we're doing this, and the woman
who writes Connections sent us all a little gift. That
was so nice.
Speaker 3 (01:21:45):
I love, I love all of the New York Times.
Games are so much fine. And wait, Nate's into this
new one. Hold on, yeah, strands, Yeah strands, you find
the hidden words. But I so now I do Connections.
I do the many Crossford puzzle because I can't. I'm
not hard enough for the big one. And a wordle
of course, I've been getting wordle as well. I'm doing okay.
Speaker 10 (01:22:05):
It feels so satisfying.
Speaker 3 (01:22:07):
It is great. All right, So this is audio Connections.
So Gandhi goes into the studio by herself, locks the door,
doesn't let anyone come in. So we have no idea
what the answer is. But these four pieces of audio
have something in common. Let's see if we can figure
it out. Listen to this.
Speaker 4 (01:22:36):
When the mom was saying, hm, I don't know, all right, we.
Speaker 3 (01:22:47):
Don't guess out loud. This is for people who listen
to the show to guess. Can you call us if
you don't know what the connections are? Let's play it
one more time. See if you can figure out what
these four pieces of sound have in common.
Speaker 21 (01:23:07):
Sketty scatty when the mom was saying.
Speaker 8 (01:23:18):
Us to worst style.
Speaker 3 (01:23:22):
Alright, all right, figure it out. Call me now one
eight hundred two four to two zero one hundred.
Speaker 6 (01:23:27):
Yeah.
Speaker 13 (01:23:28):
I'm Scotty B and I'm Andy, and we have a
podcast called serial Killers. It's a podcast where we talk
about breakfast cereals and we'll try.
Speaker 20 (01:23:35):
It before you buy it, plus some fun facts about
cereal you might not know, from the nauseating cereals to
the delicious ones. We taste them all over a thousand
cereals accounting new episodes every Monday.
Speaker 3 (01:23:46):
Listen to the.
Speaker 20 (01:23:47):
iHeart Podcast Award nominated serial Killers on iHeartRadio or wherever
you get your podcasts.
Speaker 6 (01:23:53):
Crunch, Elvis Duran in the Morning Show, Elvis Duran The
Morning Show.
Speaker 3 (01:24:01):
All Right, we got a day going. It's a Munday,
but you know it isn't a good Everyone's in a
really good mood. The other thing missing is Danielle. Danielle,
We'll be back tomorrow. She is in Canada and she's
gonna she's gonna have a full report on where she's visiting,
and she will recommend whether or not we should go there.
I bet she says yes. She looks at she's having
a good time. Wouldn't you load to be a a
(01:24:21):
travel critic, a travel author.
Speaker 10 (01:24:25):
That every year those jobs open up. I'm like, oh,
we should apply. Oh we have jobs we can't do.
Speaker 3 (01:24:30):
Oh that's right, we have jobs.
Speaker 5 (01:24:31):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (01:24:32):
But to be able to travel the world, I mean,
you know, you can't really have a lot of I
guess a lot of ties at home, you know, roots,
you got to you gotta be packed and traveling NonStop. Okay,
sign me up. Also a food critic. There's a big,
big conversation going on in New York City. One of
the arguably biggest food critics in the country is Pete
(01:24:54):
Wells from the New York Times, and he's retiring, And
we're gonna talk about that in a second. Find it
fascinating a food crit Could you do that? Could you
go out to eat almost every single night and thirty
dishes at every restaurant? Well, we'll get into that into
that in the second connections. Here is the latest from Gandhi,
(01:25:17):
what are these four pieces of sound have in common?
Listen close to.
Speaker 12 (01:25:36):
Well.
Speaker 3 (01:25:36):
The mama was saying, stop hmm, all right, Line five
is Nicoll? She says, she thinks she knows the answer. Hi, Nicole,
welcome to the show. Hello lady, Hello lady. All right,
So what do those four pieces of sound have in common?
They all have numbers, numbers where.
Speaker 5 (01:26:00):
The artist names.
Speaker 3 (01:26:02):
That's it, absolutely yeah. Do you remember which ones we played?
You remember the band's name?
Speaker 12 (01:26:09):
I know there was.
Speaker 3 (01:26:12):
Maroon five mm hmm.
Speaker 19 (01:26:17):
I'm not sure the rest of them.
Speaker 3 (01:26:19):
It's okay, you got it right though? What are the
other two?
Speaker 10 (01:26:21):
There was a public and one pilots there.
Speaker 3 (01:26:24):
You go, Oh, but you've got it, yay, yay. You
What do we have for Nicole?
Speaker 5 (01:26:28):
Oh, we've got some fabulous Elvis Doran apparel thanks to
Hackensack Meridian Health.
Speaker 3 (01:26:33):
It's on the way, Nicole. You said you're on top
of it. Now we have another connections. Yeah, we could
double up here. Do you want to see if you
can get these just? Oh boy, could you think you
could raw dog this and just do it? Let's try it,
all right, Let's see if you can figure out what
these four pieces of sound have in common. Gandhi just
(01:26:53):
came up with these. Let's see what she gave us.
Speaker 5 (01:26:55):
Here we go.
Speaker 15 (01:26:59):
I'm like service closing.
Speaker 6 (01:27:07):
Do you we go long ago? We walcome?
Speaker 7 (01:27:15):
Oh?
Speaker 6 (01:27:15):
We do give for each other.
Speaker 3 (01:27:17):
I ain't seen you before.
Speaker 6 (01:27:19):
I think I remember, Yes, Pies.
Speaker 19 (01:27:27):
I'm not gonna get it, guys, I'm sorry.
Speaker 3 (01:27:30):
You know what Gandhi said. It would be difficult anyone else.
Speaker 19 (01:27:32):
In the room.
Speaker 10 (01:27:33):
I don't think anybody in here is gonna get it.
I think you have to be a super fan of
one person to even try to begin.
Speaker 3 (01:27:40):
So you just gave it away.
Speaker 10 (01:27:43):
Maybe no, I don't think so.
Speaker 3 (01:27:45):
Okay, all right, well let's just put that out there.
Let it float, let it hang. We don't have to
get an answer now. But okay, I like it when
you challenge this. Gandhi and Nicole, thanks for listening to us.
You have a great day. Don't hang up.
Speaker 20 (01:27:54):
Okay, thanks guys.
Speaker 18 (01:27:55):
Yep, hold on a.
Speaker 3 (01:27:56):
Second, here you go. You're having too much fun doing
these connections.
Speaker 10 (01:27:59):
They're so fun. I like doing them, and I like
when other people contribute to it too. But I was thinking,
because this one is really difficult. It's like purple category
on connections difficult. We could say what the category is
and then just have them name those four songs. And
you wanted to do like a reverse connection.
Speaker 3 (01:28:16):
Well I'll do it. Let's what do you want to do?
Only you know what we should do because you know
the answer.
Speaker 1 (01:28:21):
Please we play it again.
Speaker 10 (01:28:23):
I still think it's gonna be really difficult for people.
Speaker 3 (01:28:24):
Yeah, here we go, ok.
Speaker 4 (01:28:27):
Speak any more.
Speaker 15 (01:28:29):
I'm like Mada Syrus closing names.
Speaker 7 (01:28:33):
Day one dream one do you we go?
Speaker 8 (01:28:39):
Long ago?
Speaker 1 (01:28:40):
You walk on this subble?
Speaker 7 (01:28:45):
Oh?
Speaker 12 (01:28:45):
We do?
Speaker 6 (01:28:46):
Was gass for each other?
Speaker 3 (01:28:47):
I ain't seen you before.
Speaker 16 (01:28:49):
I think I remember thy spy spies ses.
Speaker 9 (01:28:54):
Hmm, I'm gonna I have a guess, but it's right.
Speaker 3 (01:28:59):
Okay, well, can you write it down? I'm you know
what I'm saying.
Speaker 10 (01:29:03):
I just texted it to you. Elvish level of difficulty.
Speaker 9 (01:29:10):
Hum, then what im what I'm thinking?
Speaker 11 (01:29:13):
Is not it?
Speaker 20 (01:29:13):
Then?
Speaker 12 (01:29:15):
God?
Speaker 3 (01:29:15):
I love it.
Speaker 10 (01:29:15):
I love this though, So what the category is? And
then you hear those songs back, You're gonna be like, oh,
this makes sense, but just let it flow.
Speaker 3 (01:29:25):
Let us hang out. Okay, Let's talk about Pete Wells,
the food critic for the New York Times he's been
there for a twelve years something like that. So imagine,
you know, New York Times is especially they're cooking. Their
food section is just huge. I mean, it's a worldwide thing.
And to have your name on the banner as the
official food critic of the New York Times is a major,
(01:29:46):
major thing, especially here in New York City because it's
the city of restaurants, right to the point where if
Pete Wells would show up at your restaurant, you want
to make sure everyone that works for you knows who
he is and takes extra good care of him because
he could, he could, he could sink your ship. Maybe,
you know, I don't know. I wonder how many restaurants
live and die by Pete Wells at the New York
(01:30:08):
Times and his food criticism. You know, he walked waltzed
into uh Shawney's restaurant on Staten Island and made it
officially one of the top fifty restaurants in New York City.
And it was like what a day. She deserved it,
She worked hard for it, but wow, it really changed
a lot for her. You know, he's retiring. He says
(01:30:31):
that eating all those those at all of those restaurants
had a had an awful, awful effect on his health.
Speaker 10 (01:30:38):
Oh wow, yeah see that.
Speaker 3 (01:30:40):
Yeah, because he would go into a restaurant and just
like order, you know, just order this, order that, try
as many things as you can, and uh yeah, but
it's to the point where and I know, my friend
Rosanna Scato said, who owns Fresco by Scotto, the restaurant
here in New York City, they would keep his photo
up on the wall in the check area, so if
(01:31:01):
they ever saw him come in, they would immediately call
the kitchen, tell the chef, tell everyone, tell the manager.
This guy has to be taken care of because we
don't want him to write anything negative about our restaurant,
which is Can you imagine having that much power in
New York City in the restaurants.
Speaker 10 (01:31:16):
That'd be crazy. Yeah, I feel very stressed out. I
think by it too, because restaurants could have an off
day or maybe just a mistake happened, and then you
write this in your review and maybe you take that restaurant.
That would be very stressful.
Speaker 3 (01:31:29):
Wow, I guess he could get a reservation in any
restaurant he wants. Yeah, scary, this would be a job
for you. You should be a restaurant critic.
Speaker 5 (01:31:38):
Yeah, and I'd be very fair too, you know. And
you know, in order to be a restaurant critic, you
actually have to have something to compare it to, like,
for instance, pizza, you have to have pizza from all
around the world, you know, in order to be an
aficionado on it, right, You can't just live in a
bubble and say, like, for instance, the pizza in this
(01:31:58):
neighborhood is the bestest, the best ever if you haven't
gotten out there and experienced at all. So I would
actually have to travel and prepare myself, okay, and actually
eat the food of all these places.
Speaker 3 (01:32:10):
You know, and you better get started, Yeah, you better
get started right now.
Speaker 10 (01:32:13):
Go bring it.
Speaker 3 (01:32:15):
But what about a travel a travel credit where you
have to travel to the like the best hotels and
resorts in the world and tell everyone what you think?
I would love that would be? That would be a trip.
What do you think?
Speaker 10 (01:32:27):
Incredible? Oh my god, I would love to do that.
Speaker 5 (01:32:30):
How does that work?
Speaker 9 (01:32:31):
Though?
Speaker 5 (01:32:31):
Like they give you the room, they say, well, we're
hooking you up with the room, you know, say something nice,
because if the difted place isn't nice, it feel like
I'd have to say so, right. I don't know, like,
are there any independent travel writers that are just going
out there just you know there are?
Speaker 10 (01:32:46):
I follow some of them. Well, I think they're free,
all on it. I don't know, but I think a
lot of them also come from like agencies like a
travel agency or an airline or things like that, where
they don't necessarily have a vested interest in the place.
They just want to know if it's good to go.
Speaker 3 (01:33:00):
You know, a really good friend of mine runs a
travel agency and they they always are on the road
experiencing new hotels, new resources. They have to stay up
on it. They have to know, they have to know
what's good, what's bad. And I think a lot of
times the travel agents are taken care of because they
don't They don't write it. They don't write a report.
They just go back and suggest to clients.
Speaker 11 (01:33:20):
Right.
Speaker 3 (01:33:21):
Remember when we first launched Bliss Norwegian Bliss, and we
had that inaugural party for travel agents. They were all
on board with us. And let me tell you what
a crazy bunch of weirdos. They were insane. They're trying
to break into our rooms to see what they were like,
I'm like, what are you doing? What men. Can I
just come in and look at your room?
Speaker 6 (01:33:42):
No?
Speaker 8 (01:33:42):
No, go away?
Speaker 3 (01:33:45):
But yeah, they were. They were just breaking all the
rules because they wanted to eat all the free shrimp
and you know, get all the free stuff. But that
could be kind of fun.
Speaker 10 (01:33:53):
Right totally. Do you think there's something that you know
enough about that you could be considered an expert or
critic on that thing? I don't think I would have one.
Speaker 3 (01:34:03):
I could do food or travel, absolutely I could. Yeah,
you don't think you could do travel? You please, Gandhi,
You travel all all corners of the earth.
Speaker 10 (01:34:12):
I mean, I would like to think so, but I
don't know. I just don't know if I know enough
about it to be an expert or be considered, you know,
my critique worthwhile.
Speaker 3 (01:34:18):
I don't know what about you, Froggy. Would you be
a golf critic? What's your expertise?
Speaker 4 (01:34:23):
Tooot?
Speaker 9 (01:34:24):
I would love to travel around and play different golf courses?
Speaker 5 (01:34:26):
You kidding me?
Speaker 3 (01:34:27):
I'd bean?
Speaker 9 (01:34:27):
Wowesome, Yeah, that'd be really really incredible. Scary you would
do that. But they're probably much better at golf than I.
Speaker 3 (01:34:34):
Well, you know, do you really have to be great
at golf? I think it'd be better just to be
anything at golf?
Speaker 9 (01:34:38):
Just why would argue that the worst I am, I'm
hitting it all over the place. I see more of
the golf course than the guy who's really good, who
only sees the middle of the golf course exactly.
Speaker 3 (01:34:46):
You see all the sand, traps, everything, right, trees everything.
What about Scotty b Oh, he does cereals? He already
has one? Oh yeah, cereal kills What he's eating cereal
as we speak?
Speaker 5 (01:34:56):
Are you eating?
Speaker 13 (01:34:57):
I'm eating frosted chocolate cake cereal for breakfast. It's delicious.
I had some of that last week, didn't. I think
it is really good. It's like trying to we with
chocolate chips inside. You can't get any better than that.
Speaker 5 (01:35:07):
What about you, Nate?
Speaker 9 (01:35:08):
What would you what would you do?
Speaker 3 (01:35:09):
What would you write about?
Speaker 13 (01:35:10):
I don't know, I really you know, I don't know
what I write about.
Speaker 9 (01:35:16):
I don't know.
Speaker 5 (01:35:17):
This is interesting exercise, elvi us. I really like that
you've challenged us today. I'm trying to figure out what
I'm good enough at that not a murderer hiding bodies
great places to hide bodies. I will say, you know,
I could critique movies where there are killers and serial
killers and say, shouldn't have done that, shouldn't have left
that behind? Seriously, people are so stupid. Criminals are stupid sometimes.
(01:35:41):
Well that's a very narrow feel a criminal character in movies. Critic,
I know what I could do. I could critique movies.
That could be my my stick, my bag.
Speaker 3 (01:35:53):
Yeah you could. You you would, because you're always great
at telling stories and describing things in detail. I think
it'd be great at that, Thank you. D like Danielle
would be a great book critic because she reads voraciously.
I mean she's always reading.
Speaker 9 (01:36:08):
I don't know.
Speaker 3 (01:36:10):
Back to this food critic thing, that means they have
an opening there at the New York Times. I don't know. Scary.
Speaker 10 (01:36:14):
Does that pay one or is it just all perks?
Speaker 9 (01:36:17):
I don't know.
Speaker 10 (01:36:19):
And once you're no longer a critic, because I know
you said he probably has a hookup to any restaurant
he wants to go visit. But once you don't have
that title anymore, do you think the phone just stops
ringing and all of those people are like, nope, never again.
Speaker 9 (01:36:32):
You're right, you.
Speaker 3 (01:36:34):
Can't do anything for us. We won't feed you.
Speaker 5 (01:36:36):
I don't know.
Speaker 3 (01:36:38):
Let's go round the room its Scotty be our guest
this around the room. We should be around the room next.
Speaker 5 (01:36:42):
We should do it next.
Speaker 3 (01:36:43):
Tal Okay, So if not Scotty Be, who should our
new guest to be to fill in for Danielle? Hmmm?
Oh we should have Abby our newest edition. Yes, all right,
go go prime and prime her. Pump prime and pump her.
What does it sound right around the room and the
Daniell by the way, if you're wondering, yes, she will.
Speaker 6 (01:37:02):
Be back to Elvis ter Ran in the Morning Show.
Speaker 3 (01:37:06):
When they's breakfast two for three dollars. Biggie bundles let
you choose your perfect duo from your favorite four, including
a sausage or egg and cheese biscuit, small seasoned potatoes,
or medium hot coffee.
Speaker 13 (01:37:16):
Limited time only during breakfast hours. US price and participation
may vary. Not valid in a combo single item at
regular price.
Speaker 6 (01:37:29):
Just like that Elvis ter Ran in the Morning Show.
Speaker 3 (01:37:33):
Weirdest dream I had last night and I totally forgot
about it, and it just popped back into my head.
Did you while growing up, did you ever go to J. C.
Speaker 5 (01:37:42):
Penny?
Speaker 9 (01:37:42):
Yes, Oh my god, Arizona Jeans.
Speaker 10 (01:37:46):
Sure I got banned from there for attempting to shoplift.
Speaker 3 (01:37:50):
Really, yeah, from all the places, all the places I mean?
Speaker 14 (01:37:54):
Is J C.
Speaker 3 (01:37:54):
Penny still open? Are think he's still around?
Speaker 11 (01:37:56):
Yeah?
Speaker 8 (01:37:56):
Of course yeah. I used to shop in the Huskies
the port.
Speaker 3 (01:38:00):
Yeah, me too.
Speaker 9 (01:38:01):
My grandma used to call them pennies. Yep, we call pennies.
Speaker 3 (01:38:05):
Yeah, that was a Southern thing, I think. I don't know,
maybe not, uh, But why J C. Penny was in
my dream? I have no earthly idea. Does that ever
just baffle you?
Speaker 19 (01:38:16):
Like?
Speaker 3 (01:38:16):
Why was J C. Penny in my dream? Or whatever
weird thing in your head? Is there any explanation like what?
Why the brain regurgitates things that don't make sense?
Speaker 10 (01:38:27):
I don't know. I wish there was. I always go
to the dream dictionary when I have really creepy, like
creepy weird dreams about stuff, But they don't want to
forgive you a good explanation.
Speaker 3 (01:38:35):
Well, okay, let's talk about dream dictionaries. Who are these people? Why?
Speaker 7 (01:38:39):
Don't know?
Speaker 5 (01:38:39):
It's all baloney's dream.
Speaker 11 (01:38:42):
What J C.
Speaker 3 (01:38:42):
Pennies means to you is something different to somebody else exactly?
But but why was it in my head?
Speaker 6 (01:38:48):
What?
Speaker 5 (01:38:48):
I know?
Speaker 3 (01:38:49):
I know if someone said J. C.
Speaker 5 (01:38:51):
Penny.
Speaker 3 (01:38:51):
I go, oh, I know that place, so that means
it's in my brain somewhere. But why why did it
find its way out? Why did it ooze into my dream?
I don't know, no clue.
Speaker 10 (01:38:59):
It's just like sex streame with people you're not attracted
to at all, or when you like, I read a
dream about death. Don't worry. It's not about death. It's
actually about pregnancy, equally terrifying. I don't know what they're
talking about.
Speaker 3 (01:39:10):
Don't worry, Okay. They say, you know, if you dream
about someone else, you're really dreaming about you. You've heard
that one before, like everyone in your dream?
Speaker 20 (01:39:17):
Is you?
Speaker 4 (01:39:18):
Really?
Speaker 3 (01:39:19):
Well this?
Speaker 5 (01:39:20):
I don't know.
Speaker 3 (01:39:20):
Who are these people that say they're experts, right, how
do they know? I mean, I don't know. I do
understand some dreams. If I'm having a frustrating a few
days or whatever, and then you know, I'm running in
the dream and something's chasing me. Okay, that's that's kind
of obvious to me. You're maybe I'm trying to run
away from whatever, right, the demon, the evil spirit whatever.
Speaker 5 (01:39:43):
Dreams when you're sick are terrifying because, uh, you know,
like a lot of times. If you have a dream
where you're in an enclosed space and this isn't true
of everybody, but I'm saying this, but if you're having
a dream where you're in an enclosed space and it's
like falling in on you, you could be having a
heart attack cruelly.
Speaker 10 (01:40:00):
Yeah, you are the voice of doom.
Speaker 3 (01:40:02):
You really are.
Speaker 9 (01:40:03):
Wow, talk about I'm serious?
Speaker 10 (01:40:05):
Like that rainbow death.
Speaker 3 (01:40:07):
Yeah, that's true.
Speaker 4 (01:40:08):
We could.
Speaker 5 (01:40:09):
That's sometimes people have a heart attack in their dreams
and that's what they're dreaming about.
Speaker 3 (01:40:13):
Well, I will tell you there's nothing finer than a
night of niq will dreamed you had those, right? Yeah,
You're like in a crazy, like sweaty, achy world and
you're dreaming about being chased by an armadillo that's fifteen
feet tall. He's like, I don't know anyway, enough of that, yo.
Look who's joining us? Abby is here? Good morning, Abby?
Speaker 15 (01:40:35):
Good morning?
Speaker 3 (01:40:35):
By now? Abby? How long have you been with our show?
Speaker 2 (01:40:39):
Almost three months?
Speaker 3 (01:40:40):
At this three months. Abby came in to run everything connectivity.
She's all about social and all about keeping us out there.
And you're doing a fantastic job, by the way, Yeah, lovely.
A lot of compliments coming I don't know if we've
told you that, but you need to hear that.
Speaker 2 (01:40:53):
Well, thank you so much.
Speaker 3 (01:40:55):
Well can you Well, we basically just gave you a
rating A plus. Okay, so what about you being here
for three months merging into this craziness. What are your
thoughts about this show?
Speaker 9 (01:41:07):
And I don't know.
Speaker 6 (01:41:09):
I mean, I love it.
Speaker 10 (01:41:11):
I'm having a great time.
Speaker 3 (01:41:13):
What is it that you like about it?
Speaker 10 (01:41:15):
Well, all of you guys are really cool and fun.
Speaker 2 (01:41:21):
It's I feel like sometimes with social media it's not
always like a fun and welcoming environment, but.
Speaker 10 (01:41:27):
This really has been.
Speaker 2 (01:41:29):
So I'm grateful for that and like people who are
willing to teach me things and be patient.
Speaker 3 (01:41:35):
With me, be patient with you. We think you're doing
a bang of job.
Speaker 4 (01:41:39):
Thank you.
Speaker 3 (01:41:40):
And I got to say, I mean, look, I've been
here since the beginning, right, And some other like Scary
and Danielle and Scotti B they've been here since the
beginning as well. This really truly is an incredible place
to work. It is if you, if you let it be,
I mean it his moments, but don't they all right?
Speaker 2 (01:41:57):
I mean, I agree, I love it all right.
Speaker 3 (01:42:00):
Okay, we're about to do our around the room segment.
I want you to join it. Okay, be a part
of it. All right, we'll give you a second. Let's
start it now. I'll come to you last. Okay, okay,
but we'll start with Gandhi, Gandhi, what's on your mind today?
What's up?
Speaker 10 (01:42:12):
Okay? I have a question for maybe a legal expert
or somebody who has knowledge of how cities work. Are
drones allowed outside apartment buildings because they should not be? Okay,
that's what I thought. I was looking out my window
the other day, saw a drone circling outside my window,
then other buildings around us, and then that thing went
(01:42:32):
so high it looked like it could be in the
same space as things that are flying like airplanes are helicopters.
I don't know. It's far away, but it terrified me.
It was the first time that I have shut my
blind since I moved into my apartment. And now all
I can think of is are there drones outside watching us?
What is going on? What do we do about this?
Speaker 3 (01:42:50):
I don't know, you know what, maybe some municipalities have
laws against droning.
Speaker 8 (01:42:54):
I don't know.
Speaker 3 (01:42:54):
I do know that when we're on vacation, almost every
resort we went to. There were signs posted on the
beach no drones allowed, because this is a new thing. Drones.
I mean, you know what I'm saying. I mean in
the public sector, people just flying them over looking at
people naked on the beach. We can get out of here.
Speaker 10 (01:43:10):
You and your cadrebly invasive. I want to throw a
rock at it next time. Next time, drone your mind.
Speaker 3 (01:43:16):
But I'm going to write, let us know someone if
you know what's going on, if there's maybe some cities
have laws. Maybe as someone I don't know if it's
a very good point, okay, because drones are here to say, hey, Froggy,
what's up with you?
Speaker 9 (01:43:26):
I don't know who does. Who's eating the pins that
I put in the studio? But every day I bring
a pin, a highlighter and a sharpie into this studio
that I work in, and every single day when I
come in here they're gone again. Where are they gone?
Speaker 3 (01:43:41):
Well, someone obviously knows where to go to get pens
and writing utensils. That's too here.
Speaker 9 (01:43:46):
Yeah, here are they eating them? I don't have any idea.
I thought, eventually somebody will get their feel they'll have
everything they need, and those just lead them, but not
the case. So today I brought in two highlighters and
two sharpies, and I guarantee.
Speaker 3 (01:44:00):
I wouldn't say that.
Speaker 5 (01:44:00):
Don't.
Speaker 3 (01:44:02):
People are coming down to get them. Now, see what
you did?
Speaker 9 (01:44:04):
Jack guessed?
Speaker 10 (01:44:04):
How many days in a row has it happened? And
why do you keep doing it?
Speaker 9 (01:44:07):
It's been happening now for three consecutive weeks.
Speaker 10 (01:44:11):
Oh my god, how many highlightersprung me?
Speaker 3 (01:44:14):
It's a lot.
Speaker 9 (01:44:14):
So I went to the closet and I got a
box of pins, a box of highlighters, and a box
of sharpies, and I bring them one in a day.
But I keep hoping that they'll be here the next day.
But they're not. Where are they going?
Speaker 7 (01:44:25):
Right?
Speaker 3 (01:44:26):
The test is on? I mean, how come they don't
go to the closet and just get them. They come
to they're conditioned to come into the studio.
Speaker 5 (01:44:31):
You have done this.
Speaker 9 (01:44:32):
You've created a closet. Thank you.
Speaker 5 (01:44:33):
There you go.
Speaker 3 (01:44:34):
You're a closet. Hey, scarty, what's up with you today?
Speaker 5 (01:44:37):
We need to outlaw mushy pillows. Hear me out here
for a second. A lot of people going on vacation whatever.
You're in a hotel room, a motel whatever. I don't
mean to be that first world problem guy, but I
cannot sleep if I don't have my pillow, the one
that I need, the one I have at home. And
every time I go to a hotel, I always wake
up with net problems and your spine is out of alignment. Really,
(01:44:58):
But if you go to most hotel hell like front desks,
you can actually ask for pillows service. They actually have
pillows that they will give you. Say I want a
firm pillow, so make the ask. Don't settle for mushy pillows.
If that came in, you know, talking about you, the
ones that that crumble up into a ball, and.
Speaker 3 (01:45:15):
They you know, you know, you know, I know what
you're talking about, and you know what a lot of
times they said, some of the swanky hotels have the
pillow concierge. Right, they'll let you test them at the
desk or whatever. That's awesome, Yeah, was always didn't. We
used to pay for dances from a lady named Mushy
pillows and stilettos. Yes, yes, mushy pillows. She was a
(01:45:39):
great dancer there. I don't know that's funny. Hello, Nate,
what's up with you?
Speaker 5 (01:45:44):
Okay? So, when was the last time you turned on
a movie and were totally blown away by what you
saw and you saw something totally unexpected? Uh? For me,
that was Saturday. I was telling Sam this earlier. I
turned on the movie Bone Tomahawk. Do you have Have
you guys ever seen this movie Bone Tomak? I turned
it on Netflix and I thought, oh, it looks like
a good Western.
Speaker 3 (01:46:03):
Wasn't he a dancer? No, Bone Tomahawk.
Speaker 5 (01:46:07):
It starts out as a Western, and then it goes
into this weird kind of X Files vibe and at
one point in the movie, if you google Bone Tomahawk
that scene, you are going to be horrified. Because in
my forty some years on this planet, I have never
seen anything like what I saw in that movie. I
(01:46:27):
was just flabbergasted by what I saw in that movie,
and so I can't get away because it's very integral
to the plot. You have me all curious now, I'm
telling you, Elvis, I was shocked, horrified, and amazed all
at the same time by what I saw.
Speaker 3 (01:46:45):
Look, I'm not one for judging, but by it discover,
but I have no desire to see any movie called
Bone Tomahawk.
Speaker 5 (01:46:49):
I don't know why okay, well bone tomahawk to do
something to a person. And I was just floored by
what I saw. That's all.
Speaker 11 (01:46:58):
I think.
Speaker 3 (01:47:00):
You said, enough, Yeah, okay, moving on, Okay, so our
special get rid. I know we could producer say it,
producer say what's going.
Speaker 5 (01:47:06):
On with you?
Speaker 14 (01:47:07):
So I don't have musphonia, I don't have OCD. Beyond
you know little ways we all have OCD. But there
are two sounds in this world that will make my
skin crawl, and that is if someone is chewing gum
in a confined space with their mouth open, or picking
at their nails and you just hear that little click
click in a confined space.
Speaker 1 (01:47:25):
And I was in my pottery studio.
Speaker 14 (01:47:27):
Over the weekend and it was me and one other
dude and he was doing both, and I thought that
my entire body was going to explode. I started to
move in furniture around him, like just to get his
attention and hopefully shake him out of it.
Speaker 1 (01:47:38):
Nothing did it.
Speaker 14 (01:47:38):
I maybe should have said something, but I was too embarrassed,
and I felt like my body temperature was rising. I
was gonna go nuts. Can't handle both of those sounds. Gum, chewing,
picking your nails I will die.
Speaker 3 (01:47:48):
I'm in Oh, I'm out terrible, Okay, all right, just
thinking about it's irritating the hell out of.
Speaker 6 (01:47:54):
Me, it really is.
Speaker 1 (01:47:54):
I'm getting worked up.
Speaker 3 (01:47:56):
There you go, and now our special guest, Abby, the
newest addition to the family. We love having you here.
All right, what's on your mind today?
Speaker 2 (01:48:02):
Abby? I, my roommate and I have been searching for
a new apartment. And if you are also searching for
an apartment in New York City, you are definitely having
a bad time.
Speaker 1 (01:48:11):
It's been really horrible.
Speaker 2 (01:48:13):
If you are moving to New York City from somewhere
that is not New York City, just be aware because
it's all people trying to take advantage of you, trying
to get as much money out of you as possible.
It's I feel like the search has shaved at least
five years off of my life.
Speaker 10 (01:48:28):
It's yeah, it's really rough.
Speaker 15 (01:48:31):
But we are interested in.
Speaker 2 (01:48:33):
Two different apartments, so hopefully one of.
Speaker 6 (01:48:35):
Those work out.
Speaker 3 (01:48:36):
Yeah, New York City has this thing, and I didn't
know that this was the thing until I moved to
New York City. The fee, there's a fee to pay,
a huge a broker fee, a huge percentage.
Speaker 2 (01:48:45):
We refuse to do that again because we did it
for our current apartment that we're living in, and all
the broker he didn't do anything except for like turn
the key to get us into the apartment. He didn't
help us find it or anything. It wouldn't even give
us measurements of the rooms. So we are refusing to
do that again. Or yeah, like we we want to
find a Nophie apartment, which we found a couple, but
(01:49:06):
it is very difficult. And then like there have been
somewhere we are interested in, and then after there's a
lot of interest, the landlord's up the rent and it's yeah,
it's not fun.
Speaker 3 (01:49:17):
You know when you go buy an apartment building and
there's a line down the block up front, that's exactly
what they're in line to do.
Speaker 5 (01:49:23):
They're looking.
Speaker 3 (01:49:23):
It's it's forty five thousand people looking at one little apartment. Huh,
it's insane. Yeah, all right, well there you go. We
welcome to the show. I hope you get an apartment.
Don't be homeless.
Speaker 2 (01:49:34):
Yeah, I'd love to find somewhere to live soon hopefully
I do.
Speaker 3 (01:49:39):
All right, Well, look abby, everyone send us some good
new apartment vibes. We have to take a break and
we will be back after this.
Speaker 6 (01:49:51):

Speaker 7 (01:50:28):
