So it's Wednesday, which means my podcast comes out today
and sauce on the side. My special guest is Jim Kerr,
our friend from down the Hallway four. He's amazing. He
said something about radio that I had never thought of
in the way he said it, and our boss Mark
Adams sort of just hit on it a little while
ago two and he said, there are no experiences like
this anymore, where everybody is sharing something at the same time.
(00:41):
You're going through something at the same time. Sometimes you
can be in your car and look over and the
person next to you is singing the same song at
the same time, and it's a shared experience that now
with streaming and everything on demand, has just dwindled so much.
And that's why live TV gets such a big push
when there's a Super Bowl, the Olympics, things like that.
It's really important to take a mon and take that
in because it's like you're sharing this experience of life

with friends.

We are a live event every day, every day, and

attention that not everyone does that for people. It's almost
as you know, if you want to walk in front
of a camera, you got you bend down and so
you're not in the in the lens. Yeah, the lens
of scope, whatever scope of lens. I was face to
face with David Katz out there, and she walked between us,
but she went down like she was like head was

So Danielle was here yesterday. She's in our Jacksonville studios
and this morning everybody here in the building is trying
to print and there's all this stuff just rolling off
the printer and I'm like, is this yours? I go
around every studio is yours or no? I realized Danielle
was printing all of her stuff there. She was printing
it here.
Speaker 3 (02:32):
Sorry, isn't that crazy? How am I here printing in
jacks Head?
Speaker 2 (02:38):

So now I got to go find more paper because
Danielle basically printed enough to yell a forest.

And can I just I was looking for the because
I always shred all the paper after I do it
so that we can recycle it.

there's no shredder.

And that is, if you're if you're taking a route
from to and from work or wherever you are in
life every day in doing the same thing and it's monotonous,
do something different. I start Gandhi encouraged me to start

taking a new way to work home from work rather
and then Sam said, hey, why don't we go this way?
So you see new things, You experience new places, You
see things that didn't you knew that didn't know you
knew existed. And now I'm telling you and challenging you
if you're going to the same toll booth or you're
going to challenge yourself to make a left instead of
a right.

People with OCD are driving up the road right now.

Do something completely different, buy a different products right, do
something different that hasn't been done right, like well, for instance,
that was Nate's around the room.

said yesterday?

So when we were in Hollywood studios in Disney, they
had these huge carts, you know how Taylor Swift gets
on and off the stage sometimes to like hide those
big big so a bunch of them kept coming through
and I'm like, who they wheeling through?

Is Taylor Swift here? Like who is Justin Bieber? Like who?
I'm trying to figure it out. I'm like something, maybe
who is it?

Well, you know what it was, you know those three
D rides and the glasses and then they have to
clean the glasses and bring them back. Yeah, that's what
it was, some buzz lightyear game things Swift.
