Speaker 1 (00:01):
Let's play a game with Elvis Duran in the morning show. Hey,
you know what it is? National Wildlife Day. We're celebrating
by giving you a chance to win a glamorous prize
or two because you can identify songs that have to
do with wildlife? Is that how you came up with
these songs?

Speaker 2 (00:17):
That is exactly it? Maybe there's an animal in the title.

Speaker 1 (00:22):
I don't know. Okay, all right, maybe there's an animal
in the title. Maybe it has to do with just
wildlife in general. Called diamond. Now, if you want to play,
you got to know your music. You need to know
your animals. Okay. One eight hundred two four to two
zero one hundred. I love this headline. Sober bars find
their footing as mocktails and alcohol free drinks rise and popularity.

(00:46):
I know some friends of mine went to a bar
here in New York City called Hikata I believe how
you pronounce it. It's called Hikat Cafe and Elixir Lounge.
It's they build themselves as the intimate sober bar and
bottle shop with alcohol free beers and wines, as well
as a vast array of delicious alcohol free cocktails. Number

(01:08):
one on the list of the best sober bars in America.
And there's an article I read over here on Instagram
today about how popularity for these bars is growing leaps
and bounds. There's options for people to go out and
experience connection with other people without having to drink, without

(01:30):
having to get drunk right the end. You know, if
maybe you're, for whatever reason, are having a struggle with
alcohol and you just don't want to be surrounded by it,
these are places you can go to have mocktails and
still interact with people and still hang out with them,
and it's where people meet. They believe bars should be

(01:51):
community hubs where you can have fun without imbibing anything alcoholic.
They're growing in popularity here in New York, in La Orlando, Sacramento,
at Omaha, all over the country and more and more.
Cocktail lists at all restaurants have a mocktail section. Of course,
I think those look like the best drinks. I have them.
Add a little vodka to them. It's a mocktail. Make

(02:15):
it a cocktail, exactly. Leave the monk at the cock Yeah,
sounds great, so, but that's the thing. I think. It's
it's really great that there are options for people who
just want to go out and hang out with friends
or meet new people without the society pressure, societal pressure
on drinking or whatever. What do you think totally?

Speaker 2 (02:37):
I think the idea of mocktails is amazing, but I
am in sensed at the fact that people have just
taken juice and now they have a way to charge
us way more for it, calling it a damn mocktails.

Speaker 1 (02:49):
There she goes, you know what, try to talk about
something positive and good and Gandhi's all pissed the hell off.

Speaker 2 (02:55):
And that's what it is. It's mostly juice. Sometimes there's
a little like soda water in now, which is great,
and I think everybody should have an option to not
be able to drink alcohol, But just can you charge
me for a regular juice? Why does it have to
be twenty fives?

Speaker 1 (03:05):
Well, some of them are regular juices, though, I mean
I'm not saying this for all of them, but a
lot of these bartenders when they come in to set up,
they they muddle. I mean, they work hard to get
these fresh juices out to you, and they're not just
canned Hawaiian punch. I mean, if they are, I don't
want to pay for that. I would you?

Speaker 2 (03:20):
Fine? Depends on but I know some of them are
just like you know, tropic canna, which is great love
chopic canna. Don't charge me for a muddled drink.

Speaker 1 (03:27):
Well muddled you want to pay for but you're saying
a can a can to drink.

Speaker 2 (03:31):
No, I'm saying, if you're giving me the chropic canna,
charge me for a tropic canna. Yeah, don't charge me
like you muddled the orange juice together.

Speaker 1 (03:36):
I know you didn't exactly, Okay, yeah, anyway, so uh yeah,
give it a try with your friends. I mean, there's
it's something different to do. And you know, look, you know,
I'm older than you, guys. I grew up in a
total alcohol filled culture and you know, and lesser so
you gandhi. I mean, and uh, it's just kind of

(03:59):
the fiber of our being and it shouldn't have to be. Yeah,
totally true.

Speaker 2 (04:04):
But you don't have a chance to see some you know,
real crazy stuff at a sober bar. No one's gonna
fall off their barstool or puke.

Speaker 1 (04:12):
And that's the point I think. For instance, like Uncle Johnny,
for instance, God Rest, he was not going there. I mean,
he came from a nothing but alcohol fueled background. Look,
my parents used to have cocktail parties at their house
twice a week. You know, there was always cocktail shakers
being shaken always, and so the world is chased. But
what about the other vices? We were talking earlier about sugar?

(04:35):
Do you think there's gonna be sugar free restaurants and
sugar free counters? And I mean they have, they have
Vian restaurants. I mean, why not have like a sugar
free option exactly? I don't know, it's about having options.
I guess where did Nate go? Nate always walks out
when we talk about sugar.

Speaker 2 (04:53):
I think he's trying to check on the phone lines
and stuff.

Speaker 1 (04:57):
Yeah, good, all right? Is uh? Is Jenni still online too? No? No, oh,
that's the problem. We were gonna do the songs inspired
by wildlife here on Wildlife Day and we can't because
the phones aren't working here. It I Heart Media, Is
that is the list? Yeah? No, iHeart Media is a

(05:19):
big company. Yeah, And you know we have a lot
of contracts with like phone module companies. It seems like
we can call one of them, say we can't call
them because the phones don't work. So there's the issue, right,
now westone all the time.

Speaker 2 (05:31):
These studios are beautiful, but they are like Kardashians. They
don't really work.

Speaker 1 (05:38):
High listen, the Kardashians do work.

Speaker 2 (05:40):
You are wrong with now they do they do? How
started Danielle?

Speaker 1 (05:44):
Yes, yes, Froggy, you had a point to make.

Speaker 3 (05:48):
What's that if you could also get that same person
that fixes the phones to fix our copy machine? Here,
this is the way the stuff comes out of the
copy It's it's like a scroll.

Speaker 1 (06:02):
That was I mean the paper has been in like
a like it's in a circle. The hieroglyphics on that paper.

Speaker 3 (06:08):
This is how it comes out of the uh, the
printer which is also a copy machine, and they all
jam up, so you have to go get it out
one piece by one piece when it comes out.

Speaker 1 (06:16):
I think we have a contest. I think that we
got the phones to work. Line five is uh Megan
Megan is our last name? Game? Wait? I don't remember
Sad and Megan. It's a game contestant? Okay, I got it.

Speaker 4 (06:28):
Yes, the iHeart screens are not very clear.

Speaker 1 (06:33):
How is everything in beautiful Shelton, Connecticut?

Speaker 3 (06:37):
It's amazing.

Speaker 1 (06:38):
I'm trying to get ready for work. Another I wish
I had another day off like yesterday. But oh I
wish you did too, but you don't. Let's get to work.
We're gonna start your day with Rhymer's prizes if you
can figure this out. As you can hear the background,
as you can hear in the background, we are back
to back in the jungle filled with wildlife, and we
have like a brass section back there too. It's kind

(07:01):
of weird. So as you know, we are all in
love with animals and all things wildlife, and especially Gandhi,
who just got back from Yellowstone National Park and you
saw all sorts of things there, right, man.

Speaker 2 (07:13):
We saw all this stuff. A bald eagle, cinnamon brown bear,
black bear, other black bears, buffalo.

Speaker 1 (07:19):
Wow. So there's a lot of music out there, Megan
that's inspired by animals. And we have ten of these songs. Now,
let's see if he can start with five. Now, if
you know your music, you can get some of these right.
And you're just looking for title, right, because that's where
you find the animal. Okay, here we go. Here is
Songs about Wildlife. Song number one, Megan, what's the name

(07:46):
of the song? Oh my god, I can see it.
I don't hold on Yeah, there you go. It all
started with that's right, sketty. All right, here we go.

(08:09):
You're off to a wild start. National Wildlife Day, Wildlife Day.
Uh songs inspired by animals. Here's number two.

Speaker 3 (08:17):
Here's a room d dollar bills and it kills and
a thrill.

Speaker 1 (08:23):
Mm hmm. We played it a couple of times. Okay,
you don't know that one. I don't know that. Give
it to her.

Speaker 3 (08:35):
That is big and rich. We're coming to your city.
Wildlife horse and ride a cowboy.

Speaker 1 (08:46):
That sounds like a lot of fun. Here we go. Okay,
here is a song number three about wildlife.

Speaker 3 (08:53):
Go go tweet and screams.

Speaker 1 (09:01):
Did you hear that through the laughter?

Speaker 3 (09:03):
Goodness?

Speaker 1 (09:04):
I not this song, but I don't know the name
of this. This is the weirdest song. It's by a
huge artist named Yielvis. That's what the fox says.

Speaker 3 (09:14):
Is this?

Speaker 1 (09:18):
What is the box shake? I can't believe we play
that in power rotation. All right, you're doing great, Megan.
Here is wildlife song number four.

Speaker 2 (09:34):
I am a bagger.

Speaker 1 (09:35):
You got it? These are great songs going there you go? Oh,
you love to box? Here we go? Here is wild
life wildlife. I can't say wildlife song number five. Wow,

(10:01):
that was a huge song back in the day. You
want to hear it again, Play a little bit more
of it. Okay, well this is all we have right here.
Mm hmmm. Yeah, well there's sort of a hint there
in the beginnings. Isolate that beginning part wrong.

Speaker 3 (10:32):
Okay, I have no idea what it is?

Speaker 1 (10:36):
They had no idea, Danna Jackson, black cat. Okay, a
little more when it came to me. Yeah, okay, Now
this one isn't quite a wild animal, but it is
a living creature. Okay, listen closely to song number six,

(11:09):
one of my favorite songs. What is it? I don't
know it's even performed by an animal. Do you know it?
I know it? Fireflies? Our city, Yeah, our city. Not
believe your eyes if ten million fireflies? How about this one?

(11:35):
A good old classic number seven. Bees are person in
the tree to make some honey just from me. Be ah, Well, no, no, no,
don't give up, Danielle. Sorry, sorry, I'm taking that that
it's it's from an old animated film. We'll play it again.

(12:00):
These are buzzing in the tree to make.

Speaker 3 (12:03):
Some honey just for me.

Speaker 1 (12:06):
These are buzzing. It's called bearies, I mean the nature's recipes.
Do you remember that from Jungle Book? I do, yeah, yes,
I know it's no. This is good. Now you're knowing it. Okay,

(12:30):
here's number eight. Come on you fee hm hmm o,

about wild animals. Oh mm hmmm, scary. Give any of

(12:54):
the song amal animal? How about this one on number
niney they take do send the money? He was pretty wild.
I'm loving it.

Speaker 4 (13:17):
What is this one?

Speaker 1 (13:19):
I don't know and don't want none unless you all right?
All right? And finally it's about wild animals sort of.
Ok Here we get number ten, like the body was
thice to party was dumping. No, no, no, she's scary.

(13:48):
Don't sit on that buzzer so fast. Okay, come on now,
I'm sorry, give her a chance. Like the body was
nice to party was dumping.

Speaker 4 (14:00):
Oh it's such an old one.

Speaker 2 (14:06):
