Well? Mine too is bathroom related. So on Sunday afternoon,
I decided I was going to go for a walk.
It's been raining for like thirteen or fourteen days straight
here in Jack's. It took a break. I'm like, I'm
gonna go for a walk, and I felt fine. When
I started on my walk, I was three miles from
home and within a three minute span I had to
go to the bathroom so bad that I didn't know

Was going to do.
Speaker 3 (00:37):
Oh did you distemplated? I contemplated going in the woods.
That's how bad I had to go. I had to
stop walking and like bend over like three or four times.
It's just like, please, please, please, just let me get home.
It was the most awkward, awful walk home, but I
barely made it. My point is my GPS failed me.
It's usually spot on, it's usually very good, but on

Sunday it failed me.
Speaker 4 (01:01):
Oh my gosh, can I this is not my around
the room quid. But can I add to that this
happened to me the other day, Thank gosh. Somebody was
doing construction in the front of their house and there
was a porta potty because if not, I would have
wound up. I don't know what I would have wound
up doing, but I had to say.
Speaker 1 (01:19):
I had to. I had no choice.
Speaker 4 (01:21):
I almost died froggy. It was not good. So yeah,
I feel you.
Speaker 1 (01:26):
All right, Well, thanks for sharing your moments, and you're
welcome the pain of the cramping everything. So you really
tell his story, you paint the picture. It was scary.
What's up with you today?
Speaker 5 (01:37):
Well, I don't know what I've done to deserve this,
but TikTok is serving me up in their algorithm. TikTok
fails and people getting hurt. So all I'm getting his
videos of. So this one girl is trying to do
a cartwheel in the New York City subway on the
platform and as she's coming up from the other side,
she literally falls, loses her balance and falls onto the
train tracks and then obviously she gets pulled up and

she you know, nothing bad happen.
Speaker 1 (02:00):
It's to her.
Speaker 5 (02:00):
But I'm just saying, I'm just seeing a lot a
lot of this lately, when people are hamming it up
to the camera. Why is it that we most that's
the time that we're most vulnerable, and that's the time
when things are gonna go wrong.
Speaker 1 (02:11):
Because you're not paying attention, right, I guess not.
Speaker 5 (02:14):
But when it's always when the cameras are rolling with
something stupid, it's gonna happen.
Speaker 1 (02:18):
I'm just saying that was because they're performing, you know
what I'm saying. It's like, yeah, it's like, that's why
people fall off mountains. I was just like, this has never
happened before. Oh no, I see a lot of this.
A lot of this is coming into my feet, and
I didn't ask for it. I'm just saying, obviously you did.
Speaker 4 (02:33):
Yeah, you must have watched something you.
Speaker 1 (02:35):
Love, near death experiences. What's up with you today, Gandhi?
Speaker 6 (02:39):
So today is September seventeenth, twenty twenty four, which means
I've been part of this show for six years. Today's
my anniversary.
Speaker 1 (02:45):
Yeah, six years.
Speaker 6 (02:46):
I cannot believe it's been that long. Elvis Iran, if
you and I would have had a baby, it would
be a kindergartener now time.
Speaker 1 (02:54):
Oh my god, that's right.
Speaker 6 (02:55):
Isn't it crazy to think about it in those terms?
But man, when I tell you, it's been the best
six years ever has And I love all of you
guys so much, and I'm so happy to be here,
and I'm looking forward to another six, maybe sixty.
Speaker 1 (03:05):
Whatever, however long you'll have me, I will day. Yeah,
you know, so wild the passing of time. I still
just can't grasp it. Yeah, because I still I still
feel like you just got here. In some ways, so
do I. And then in some ways, well, no, actually,
I don't feel like you've been here for a long
time at all. Six years. And as Mom always said,

do you get the faster it goes? Maybe that's my
thing because I'm speeding by lightning speed and I don't
like it. I want to slow it down all the
way down.
Speaker 6 (03:34):
And that pandemic really did a number on all of us.
I don't really I like the time change. Everything changed
with time.
Speaker 1 (03:39):
Yeah right, hey, scary turn that music down. This is
a rave What are you doing? I don't know, Hey,
producer saying, what'd you have for dinner last night? You
you had some some very.
Speaker 7 (03:48):
I had kim chi fried rice. Yeah, but my around
the room was about dinner from Saturday.
Speaker 1 (03:54):
Talk about it.
Speaker 7 (03:55):
Sometimes I find an ingredient that is so good that
I don't even get to make dinner because it just eats.
It's happened to me with balls of mozzarella cheese time
and time again, jars of pesto. And I found the
best spicy vodka sauce I've ever found, and I was
going to make a pasta dish.
Speaker 1 (04:10):
I was really excited about it. Could not wait.
Speaker 7 (04:11):
I just ripped apart bare pieces of bread and dipped
it at the court of the vodka sauce.
Speaker 1 (04:17):
The whole thing is gone.
Speaker 7 (04:19):
It was delicious.
Speaker 1 (04:20):
What make is it?
Speaker 7 (04:22):
A little placed by us Caangianos has a homemade spicy
vodka sauce.
Speaker 1 (04:26):
It was just it was so good, and there was
no dinner. I forgot.
Speaker 7 (04:29):
I was married, and I also was supposed to help
him out too, but he was fine.
Speaker 1 (04:32):
He just ordered. Tell you what, if you want to
find it in the grocery store in a jar, and
a lot of people say, never do that, But carbone,
carbones spicy vodka sauce. It's the same famous sauce that
used in the restaurant so good, and it's it's got
a kit. It kicks you right in the ass. Mmm, hey,
what's up with you today, Danielle.
Speaker 4 (04:50):
So, I don't know if anybody who has tried this,
but I'm seeing it all over social putting popcorn in
the freezer. They're saying, if you put popcorn in the freezer,
not only does it not get stuck in your teeth
when you're eating it, the little crunchy kernels, but they
say if you salt it ahead of time, the salt
really pops and you taste it more in your mouth,
(05:10):
and they say it's absolutely delicious.
Speaker 1 (05:12):
So wait, you pop it before you put it in
your sam.
Speaker 4 (05:15):
You pop it, pop it, put it in like a
I guess, like a ziplock bag, stick it in the freezer,
and then take it out, and I guess it doesn't
freeze freeze. I don't know how that's not possible. But
it tastes. Everyone is saying it tastes delicious. So I
have to try this now. I've got salt it first,
because they said the salt really pops. So if anybody
has tried this, could you please let us know I
(05:36):
want to try it too, but.
Speaker 1 (05:37):
I'm just kidding. Sounds like Foggy has Yeah, he loves it.
What's up with you today, Nate? Okay, I'm gonna continue
talking about food.
Speaker 2 (05:44):
That rotisserie chicken from Sam's Club. My god, what a great,
great thing that is. It's five dollars, it's three pounds,
and I seriously, I had my gloves on. I'm ripping
it apart, and I'm just sitting there eating and I
must have eaten a pound of that thing. What do
they do to that chicken? You don't want to know.
Speaker 1 (06:06):
I'll give you another hack.
Speaker 3 (06:07):
If you take that rotisserie chicken and you put it
in a ziploc bag. I think Elvis has tried this before. Yeah,
you just kind of squeeze it in the ziploc bag.
All the bones come out of it and you just
have the meat left.
Speaker 1 (06:17):
Shut up. God, yeah, it's a pretty fust way. My
problem is when I bring because you know, I think
every Tuesday here at King's it's it's rotissrie chicken sale day. Yeah,
I didn't want to tell anyone. And I get it
home and I eat it. I devour at least half
a chicken, just standing at the counter.
Speaker 2 (06:35):
Seriously, like, I don't think you cannot not do that,
Like you know, you're taking it apart, whether you're shaking
in a bag or you're pulling it apart.
Speaker 1 (06:42):
Plus plus, it's already hot, it's ready to go.
Speaker 4 (06:44):
And it's so good to like make I make chicken
fried rice with it. I make like I make all
kin make a burrito with it, because you can, and
because the freshest, juiciest chicken.
Speaker 1 (06:53):
I love it. Listen how excited we are about roasted chicken.
Speaker 2 (06:57):
So cool.
Speaker 1 (06:58):
It's hungry. I'm hungry. I mean, you know, Scary tells
me tomorrow is National Cheeseburger Day. Yeah, come on, I'm
on Seventh Street. I'm in my favorite cheeseburger in New
York City. Go go Go. That was a great around
the room with a lot of food and uh and
of course foggy story about going pooh. So there you go.
It was very happy anniversary to our Gandhi six years.

You know a lot of shows come on the air
and they're off. The whole show has gone by five years.

Six I can't believe you put up with us for

The Burden
The Burden is a documentary series that takes listeners into the hidden places where justice is done (and undone). It dives deep into the lives of heroes and villains. And it focuses a spotlight on those who triumph even when the odds are against them. Season 5 - The Burden: Death & Deceit in Alliance On April Fools Day 1999, 26-year-old Yvonne Layne was found murdered in her Alliance, Ohio home. David Thorne, her ex-boyfriend and father of one of her children, was instantly a suspect. Another young man admitted to the murder, and David breathed a sigh of relief, until the confessed murderer fingered David; “He paid me to do it.” David was sentenced to life without parole. Two decades later, Pulitzer winner and podcast host, Maggie Freleng (Bone Valley Season 3: Graves County, Wrongful Conviction, Suave) launched a “live” investigation into David's conviction alongside Jason Baldwin (himself wrongfully convicted as a member of the West Memphis Three). Maggie had come to believe that the entire investigation of David was botched by the tiny local police department, or worse, covered up the real killer. Was Maggie correct? Season 2 - The Burden: Empire on Blood Empire on Blood is set in the Bronx, NY, in the early 90s, when two young drug dealers ruled an intersection known as “The Corner on Blood.” The boss, Calvin Buari, lived large. He and a protege swore they would build an empire on blood. Then the relationship frayed and the protege accused Calvin of a double homicide which he claimed he didn’t do. But did he? Award-winning journalist Steve Fishman spent seven years to answer that question. This is the story of one man’s last chance to overturn his life sentence. He may prevail, but someone’s gotta pay. The Burden: Empire on Blood is the director’s cut of the true crime classic which reached #1 on the charts when it was first released half a dozen years ago. Season 1 - The Burden In the 1990s, Detective Louis N. Scarcella was legendary.
