(00:23):

about happiness?

That's good.

Speaker 2 (00:32):

Oh no, okay, well you don't know because every song
has a story, you know. Anyway, Well, we have a
list of songs that actually came out to Gandhi's attention
on International Week of Happiness at Work Week last week.
We need it this week more than ever. Explain to
Amy and everyone listening what this list of songs is
all about.

Speaker 2 (01:03):
All right, So, according to neuroscience, there is actually a
formula that can make a song make you happy, and
that includes songs in major keys that's perceived as happier.
A sweet spot is about one hundred and thirty seven
beats per minute, a repetitive rhythm or guitar riff that
makes it memorable or catchy, and of course, positive lyrics
that inspire a sense of well being.

Speaker 1 (01:24):
People love that.

Speaker 2 (01:25):
And if there's a little bit of a surprise or
some type of unpredictability within that song. These are the
things that make songs happy to you and make you
happy and can boost your mood. So keep that in mind.

Speaker 1 (01:35):
I guess well, it's a science. This is science based.
I'm sure you know. Songs songs about you know, questioning
who let those dogs out? Those are happy songs, you know,
