Speaker 1 (00:01):
It's time to go around the room with Elvis Duran
in the Morning show.

Speaker 2 (00:05):
Oh, let's go around the room. I want to see
what's on your mind. Whatever it is is, let it
fall out. I'm gonna start with you. You're not gonna start
with you, Danielle. What's on your mind today?

Speaker 3 (00:14):
Actually? Come back? I didn't know I want to.

Speaker 4 (00:17):
Yeah, okay, okay, all right? Uh gandhi, what about you?
What's going on? All right? We talk about this all
the time.

Speaker 1 (00:22):
One of the most important tools for any species to
survive is flexibility adaptability. If you cannot do those things,
you will not make it. So I implore everybody to
be flexible. Know the difference between I can't and I won't.
Those are two totally different things. Sometimes there are situations
where you can't do something about it. Most of the time,
if you look at it, it's that you won't do

(00:44):
something about it. So think about the things that are
important and be flexible.

Speaker 4 (00:49):
Nice.

Speaker 2 (00:50):
Yeah, adaptable, adaptability, that's what it's all about.

Speaker 4 (00:53):
Versatility.

Speaker 2 (00:55):
Sometimes we think, well, speaking of versatility, we think Nate
is very versatile.

Speaker 4 (01:00):
Nate, what's on your mind today?

Speaker 5 (01:02):
Well, I'm thinking about everybody in this Storm's path right now,
And I'm just kind of putting into perspective my own experience, right, So, Froggy,
I know you'll be able to relate to this thinking
about staying and the possibility of dying. I don't know
that there's really a choice because thinking about my experience

(01:23):
in life, the couple of times I almost died, I
didn't care about my things. I didn't care about watches
or cars, or photo albums or anything. I didn't care
about any of my possessions. All I wanted to do
was live. So put it into the perspective of you
might die, right. You don't care about those things. Until

(01:44):
you put into that situation, you don't realize that material
things mean nothing. So think about that. If you're in
the storm's path and you're thinking about staying, don't.

Speaker 1 (01:54):
Dad get out of there?

Speaker 5 (01:56):
Yeah, Dad, come on, it doesn't dan anything, houses, cars, all,
all of that is just crap.

Speaker 4 (02:01):
It's oil crap. If you lie, it's so true.

Speaker 2 (02:05):
And you know you stop and remember Nate and like
what there is to live for the great things?

Speaker 4 (02:09):
Yeah, we still have work to do, is another way
of looking at it.

Speaker 6 (02:13):
You know.

Speaker 2 (02:13):
Yeah, Well we're glad you're here today. Nate Hey producer Sam,
what's up with you today?

Speaker 6 (02:18):
So there's an account I really love following, and I've
been leaning on it a lot. I feel like recently
I've been super stressed in a normal way with the move,
going through some personal stuff too, all normal crap.

Speaker 4 (02:28):
But I love this account.

Speaker 6 (02:30):
It's at quotes by Christine, and she just posts very
visually pleasing quotes. Sometimes they're attributed to a person, sometimes
they're just random.

Speaker 4 (02:39):
So if you are in need of some kind of.

Speaker 6 (02:41):
Like boost or just some positive light quick reading, check
out quotes by Christine. Let's say the most recent thing
she posted was it's not your job to ignore your
own needs and boundaries in order to make others comfortable.

Speaker 4 (02:54):
That's very good advice. It's great.

Speaker 6 (02:56):
I always get like little tidbits of good advice from here.

Speaker 2 (02:59):
So Christine basically telling us to tell everyone to screw off.

Speaker 6 (03:02):
That was the working title for her Instagram handle.

Speaker 4 (03:04):
Yes, thank you, Christine. Dearly noted, Hey, scary, what's up
with you?

Speaker 7 (03:08):
I don't care when anybody says superstitions are a real
thing and they sometimes work.

Speaker 4 (03:12):
Remember the time that I spilled coffee on my met shirt.

Speaker 7 (03:15):
And I just wouldn't stop wearing it, the coffee stained
shirt over and over again. Okay, So this superstition, this
time with the Mets and the Phillies as they play
again this afternoon at City Field, as they are tied
up one to one in the National League Divisional Series,
is that every time I turn the TV off, the

(03:35):
Mets do great things and have these awesome rallies, and
then I watched the recap later. Every time I'm watching
the game, pitch by pitch, bad things happen to the Mets.

Speaker 4 (03:43):
So I am going to for all Met fans' sake,
I do not watch the game. There you go. Could
it could be a connected We don't know.

Speaker 3 (03:53):
All right, So our Phillies fans would like you to
turn the TV on.

Speaker 7 (03:56):
Yeah, I will be occasionally checking in to see what's
going on, and then I will get all the recaps later.

Speaker 2 (04:02):
Well okay, does does mean no more stained shirts? Because
you're wearing one now? Look at that, Danielle.

Speaker 4 (04:10):
You ready to go?

Speaker 2 (04:10):
Yes?

Speaker 4 (04:11):
So sorry?

Speaker 3 (04:11):
Okay, So I too am about an account that I
follow that I love. It's at Dove Club d O
v C l U B. It's actually two people, Rob
and Ari who are married. They are the cutest couple ever.
They played jokes on each other that are I can't
stop laughing that. My kids will go, mom, what the
hell is so funny? These two have the best relationship

(04:33):
and so much fun together. Like the other day, he
put a pizza in the oven to like have it
for lunch, and she went in and she took the
big pizza out of the oven and she put a
little personal one in. He opens the oven, thinking, what
the hell happened to my pizza? She goes, don't you
know it shrinks when you cook it in the oven.
He's like, no, it doesn't, and she's like, yeah, totally does.
He couldn't believe it. It was so funny and so cute.

(04:55):
But they just love each other and they play these
tricks on each other. So it's at dub Club DV Club.
If you get a chance, check them out. They'll make
you chuckle.

Speaker 2 (05:05):
Oh I would kick his ass y Or someone's asking, yeah, hey, Froggy,
I save you for last. What is on your mind today?
What's going on?

Speaker 8 (05:15):
It's just a lot, you know, and a lot of
people are trying to do the same thing right now,
and that is they're trying to prepare to save their life,
and they're trying to prepare to save what belongings that
they can and in this time, whether it's getting groceries,
whether it's getting gasoline, whether it is getting on the
road and trying to evacuate, please, by all means, realize
we're all trying to do the same thing, and just

(05:37):
be patient. Every single person is dealing with the same
problem right now. If you're here in these areas of Florida,
be patient, try and help people if you can help others,
and we'll get through this together and we'll come out
the other side. But you can't come out the other
side if you stay in a dangerous place and put
your life in jeopardy and then make other people who
are first responders put their life in jeopardy to come

(06:00):
got you because you made a bad decision. Today is
the day to make the right decision. Take care of yourself,
take care of your neighbors, and let's get through this together.

Speaker 2 (06:07):
And being in and you know, you go into this
weird hard to describe survival mode. And when you're in
survival mode, it's about getting things done and getting out
of the harm's way and making sure people around you
that you love are safe, right, but you sometimes forget, okay,
you forget other things that you need to be paying
attention to, like breathing, I mean, I know, and making

(06:30):
sure you're keeping in touch with your feelings and how
you're doing, and that will help you get along through
this a lot better, I believe. And can I go
back to natus around the room? Can I just say
you were to just right spot on and I totally
support what you said.

Speaker 5 (06:43):
Thank you.

Speaker 4 (06:44):
I love what you said.

Speaker 2 (06:45):
And you know what, especially from you, because you and
Froggy you've both been in life life well life ending
situations with your your health, and so you know, it
made you see a perspective and learned something that maybe
we need to be learning more about as well. So
here that from you was very, very very on pointing,
and you are much loved and much appreciated for that.

Speaker 4 (07:04):
Thank you. Thank you doesn't mean I like you anymore
than I do. We know that's true, we know that's
a fact. But I do love you
