Speaker 1 (00:01):
It's time to go around the room with Elvis Duran
in the Morning show. Let's go round the room. What's
on the minds of those who have a mind? Their challenges?
Speaker 2 (00:13):
Are you looking.
Speaker 1 (00:16):
Daniels? Start with you? What's on your mind?
Speaker 2 (00:18):
Right?
Speaker 3 (00:18):
So, one of the things I got to do when
I was on vacation was I saw Cabaret with Adam
Lambert in City. Oh my gosh, he's amazing. First of all,
when you get there, it's so cool because you're really
getting to go into the Kitcat Club, which is where
they're all solosely performing. It's set up like the Kitcat
Club with the little tables. It's got all these performers everywhere.
(00:41):
They make you put a sticker over your cell phone
when you go in. They don't want any pictures. He
was amazing. And the person who played Sally Bowles, I
don't want to mess up. Her name is the girl
who is the voice of Mamana in all the movies.
Really and yes, she was incredible. Everybody in the show
was fantastic. Bbe North is in it. It was such
and I mean, if you know the story of Cabaret,
(01:03):
you know it is a very emotional story. Talks a
lot about the Nazis and everything people went through in history.
So it's you're crying and then you're celebrating other parts
and the music is beautiful and you're it's just this
emotional journey and they all did a fantastic job. And
kudos to Adam Lambert because he we love him and he's.
Speaker 1 (01:23):
Just say what Cabaret, of course, is just a staple.
It's an old time staple when it comes to Broadway shows.
I saw I saw it with Joel Gray and me too.
Speaker 3 (01:32):
I saw it with Joel Gray too, and was I
actually played Sally in college in Cabaret, So watching the show,
I was reliving all of the things that I did
and seeing all my friends in the different parts. It
was crazy, but it's we're seeing so see it if
you can.
Speaker 1 (01:52):
One of the many things that Danielle's done over the
past week. Hey, scary, what's up with you today?
Speaker 4 (01:56):
Well, I was kind of touched because my Ryan Knuckles,
his daughter Shay Knuckles, named after Shaye Stadium, made me
a friendship bracelet for the Mets, because you know, I'm
a huge Met fan, and she gave it to me
over the weekend and I'm like, oh my god, this
is so cool. I wore it. I didn't take it off.
The Mets pulled one game out and then they lost
(02:18):
the last one. But still it was the thought that
count that counts.
Speaker 3 (02:22):
So I was gonna say, maybe that.
Speaker 1 (02:26):
Shane Knuckles, she's great. She listened to Boca's Way to school?
That is that their real last name? Are they in
a mob? Family's n U C K O ls Okay
Knuckles Like, here's my friend Johnny Knuckles.
Speaker 3 (02:41):
But anyway, but I.
Speaker 2 (02:41):
Thought it was so cool.
Speaker 4 (02:42):
Anyway, so it was old and I contributed to her
fund for the friendship bracelet was kind of fun.
Speaker 1 (02:48):
Hey, what's going on with you today, Lipsy producer Sam?
Speaker 2 (02:51):
What's up?
Speaker 5 (02:51):
Okay?
Speaker 1 (02:52):
I have a two parter.
Speaker 5 (02:53):
First of all, if you have the opportunity ever in
your life to go where your family is from, especially
if those family members were very to that culture, please
do it. I got to go to Sicily and my
family is from Sicily, and I had no idea how
much of their day to day life was just pulled
from exactly where they grew up. I was seeing pistachio
shells all over the place.
Speaker 1 (03:14):
Oh, like litter.
Speaker 6 (03:15):
I just thought my.
Speaker 5 (03:16):
Grandpa loved pistachios. I didn't think it was such a
connection to home for him. It was amazing. So if
you can go visit where you're from, it'll be a
beautiful experience. Also, Malta might be the prettiest place you've
never been before.
Speaker 2 (03:29):
I went.
Speaker 5 (03:30):
It's forty five minutes away from Sicily by plane. My
friend got married there. It's the only reason I made
the trip. I can't believe it was not on my
radar before this.
Speaker 1 (03:40):
Well, Oh, you and Will your posts were beautiful. Thanks
for sharing that with us.
Speaker 5 (03:44):
Scenery was ten out of ten all the way around.
Loved it.
Speaker 1 (03:47):
Wow, what's so for you today? Gandhi man.
Speaker 6 (03:50):
So you know, we always say it's kind of weird
when you see somebody on vacation that you would normally
see in your own home state. I did that with Scotti.
We're both in Columbus at the same time. He was
taking his daughter to check out my alma mater, the
Ohio State University, And I gotta say, Scotty is just
as weird, if not weirder on vacation when he's here.
Speaker 1 (04:11):
This man, he's a toddler.
Speaker 6 (04:13):
I mean, he's scared of everything, Like there were a
couple of crackheads getting into an argument.
Speaker 1 (04:18):
He's like, don't cross the street.
Speaker 6 (04:19):
Oh my god, Ashley, are you sure you still want
to go here? You're gonna be fine. You live in
New York, buddy, you can handle this. He's just you know,
he's very finicky and strange. But I love seeing him.
And I took so much pride in showing Ashley a
little bit of parts of the campus area that were
for the older kids. And I hope she goes there.
Speaker 2 (04:37):
Did she pick?
Speaker 4 (04:38):
She applied there last night?
Speaker 1 (04:39):
Yeah, it's weird because she's only like ten years old.
It's so weird. Time is traveling too fast. But yeah,
going anywhere and doing anything with Scotty Bee is always
a treat. Yeah, straight night. What's up with you today?
Speaker 2 (04:55):
So I've had a pain deep in my butt for
probably a good week now.
Speaker 1 (05:00):
By the way, just for the record, just for the record,
I had nothing to do with googling.
Speaker 2 (05:05):
I figured out that it's my puriformist muscle. Do you
know where your periformous muscle?
Speaker 1 (05:11):
But can you show me here on the snoopy doll
The other connects from your lower spine all the way
to your hip and I couldn't really walk that well
and my ass was killing me.
Speaker 2 (05:21):
So I did a little googling and I found some stretches.
The Internet's amazing.
Speaker 1 (05:25):
It's kind of a funny. We're all sitting here playing
with our butts.
Speaker 2 (05:27):
You can feel it touch your butt, okay, and it's like, okay,
so when you feel your hip bone, that kind of
roll your fingers up and you can feel it.
Speaker 1 (05:36):
Okay, I feel it. You all feel it. That's where
you're having your your ass paint where Yeah, that's where.
Speaker 2 (05:42):
The pain is to do it. I don't know. This
thing is just my deep, deep, very deep.
Speaker 1 (05:55):
Oh my gosh. I hope they don't get confused with
the other fingers that are out there. Oh look, I
found someone's Rolex. Well, thanks for sharing.
