Speaker 1 (00:01):
It's time to go around the room with Elvis Duran
in the morning show Around the Room.
Speaker 2 (00:06):
I'm gonna start with producer Sam. Producer Sam, how are
you doing today? What's going on?
Speaker 3 (00:11):
Okay? So I want to let everyone know where remind
everyone the teachers of your children care about these kids
so freaking much. So yesterday I took my niece trick
or treating and I went up to a house and
this woman was like shocked, creep me out a little bit,
and she goes, Samantha.
Speaker 4 (00:28):
I'm like, who oh, you.
Speaker 3 (00:29):
Listen to the show? Is my first assumption. She used
to tutor me in the second grade, not even teach me,
but my parents hired her to come to the house
to help me out. She was my tutor, and she
was recanting all these stories and I just was so
touched that she even remembered me. It was so nice.
Speaker 4 (00:47):
But she's so caring.
Speaker 3 (00:48):
She's now a retired teacher and just tutoring. It was
just such a beautiful interaction. So thank your kids teachers
and tutors a little extra because I just I can't
believe after all these years, still remembers everyone she helped out, all,
especially you, Right, I apologize. She's like reading writing, I'm like, sweetie,
we did nothing with that. I'm so sorry.
Speaker 5 (01:09):
Sam, always the memorable one. Hey, what's going on with
you today? Frog? What's on your mind?
Speaker 6 (01:14):
You know, I love how much Halloween just brings communities together.
We were out last night in our neighborhood and everybody
in the entire neighborhood was outside having a good time,
just being fun and seeing all the costumes and the
kids and everything.
Speaker 5 (01:28):
I just I love Halloween so much and what.
Speaker 6 (01:30):
It does for bringing people together, because you know, we're
a little divided right now, so it's so so nice
to see even one of the neighborhoods. One of the
houses in our neighborhood, they had adult trigger treating. So
on one table was for the kids, on the other
table were adult treats. There was alcohol and shots and
all kinds of stuff like this.
Speaker 5 (01:49):
Fun. Had a good time last night. It was good,
all right, Well we'll do it again next year, fear not, Danielle. Danielle,
what do you think about.
Speaker 7 (01:56):
So I'm actually going to follow up Froggy, because I
was going to say the same thing. So the weather
was beautiful by us last night was eighty degrees in
New Jersey in October, which is insane. So we're walking around.
There were thousands of people out and about and there's
one area in my not too far from me called Hackensack.
There's a block that shuts down and it's honestly like
a Marti Gross celebration there with like thousands people. It's
(02:18):
on my Instagram story if you want.
Speaker 5 (02:19):
To see it.
Speaker 7 (02:20):
But Sheldon, my husband, said the same exact thing that
Froggy said, that there's so much going on in the
world right now to upset us or to divide us.
To watch everybody just being out here, partying together, on
the same page, just wanting to have a good time
and enjoy the holiday season that is so special. So
going into the holidays now, you know, Thanksgiving and Christmas,
(02:43):
let's try to bring some more joy into our hearts.
There's a lot of things that are gonna be happening
in the next week or so. You may agree, you
may not agree, but bring some more joy into your
hearts and put some more joy into the world.
Speaker 5 (02:53):
I agree.
Speaker 2 (02:54):
You know what, I'm not gonna store it. I'm gonna
keep that banana costume handy year round.
Speaker 4 (02:58):

woke up to my phone ringing because he was outside
my apartment, had been out there for like fifteen minutes
waiting for me to come down.
