Speaker 1 (00:01):
Today's Daily Highlight from Elvis Duran in the Morning show.
Speaker 2 (00:05):
So, Danielle, yes.
Speaker 3 (00:08):
What I do.
Speaker 2 (00:09):
You're you're at the mall.
Speaker 4 (00:12):
Oh yeah, and you saw your friend's son's girlfriend with
another guy. Let me say that again so people get
it straight.
Speaker 2 (00:22):
You were at the mall minding your own business, huh.
Speaker 4 (00:26):
And you looked across the way and you saw your
friend's son's girlfriend with another guy.
Speaker 1 (00:36):
And I right away called them and I was like,
guess what I see And so they told me take pictures,
and I said, so, let me just tell you that
I tried.
Speaker 3 (00:48):
I didn't. What's the best scary shut up?
Speaker 1 (00:50):
So I was playing private investigator because there's wait, there's issues.
Speaker 3 (00:54):
There to begin with. So we and you wanted to
want to nail it.
Speaker 1 (00:58):
Yes, So I was like, let me take it. So
I took some pictures and Spencer was with me at
the time and he's like, Mom, please never become a
private investigator because they can see you over here with
your phone and I'm recording them, and I sat so
close to them, and my answer to him was, I
really don't give a crap. They shouldn't be doing what
they're doing, and if they have a problem. They can
(01:20):
come over to me and I'm going to ask them
about that other person and say, hey, how so and
so doing and call them out right. I said, what's
he gonna do? What's she gonna do?
Speaker 3 (01:30):
It's a little kid.
Speaker 2 (01:31):
Oh, give me a ball.
Speaker 4 (01:33):
So he So your son was saying that, Mom, you're
not a good private investator because you're like in the
middle of They could look right over.
Speaker 2 (01:39):
And see you. Who are you in the food court?
Speaker 4 (01:41):
Are you?
Speaker 1 (01:42):
We were in a food court, were the court and
I was sitting there and I had my cat, I
had my phone out, and I was pretending I was
doing something on my phone. And Spencer says to me, Mom,
it is so obvious you are not doing something on
your phone and that you are recording these kids. And
I'm like, I don't care. And he said, you're really embarrassing.
I said, I don't care.
Speaker 2 (01:59):
Then while your friend was your friend appreciative and.
Speaker 1 (02:03):
She said she was keeping that for a rainy day, Oh,
because there's some stuff going down out yet.
Speaker 2 (02:09):
Okay.
Speaker 4 (02:09):
It's like in the old movies when a politician would
be in a meeting and the guy across the table
from him would pull out an envelope and pull the
photos that I go, well, here you are having sex
with a donkey. Well, so I wonder what that reveal
will be like, I.
Speaker 3 (02:24):
Don't know, but it hasn't happened yet.
Speaker 5 (02:26):
Oh my god, Oh my gosh, Danielle, I learned a
long time ago what they never get involved in other
people's business because what could happen is you could cause
some kind of strife. They could break up, chaos could ensue,
and then they could get back together and then your
enemy number one.
Speaker 1 (02:43):
Let me tell you, I really don't care because here's
the thing. There's so much drama behind the scenes with
these two as it is, and the person not my
friend's side of it has done things that shouldn't have
been done. So they should have broken up a long
time ago, and they didn't. So this was my proof
that hello breaking.
Speaker 4 (03:03):
I think there is a lesson you learned for all
of us here. If you plan on cheating, don't do
it at the food court. Were Danielle's shopping?
Speaker 3 (03:10):
Thank you?
Speaker 4 (03:12):
Okay, so back to this thing, A private investigator your
son said, maybe you shouldn't do it. Maybe there's a
better way to like stand behind a plant. Yeah, you know,
or maybe were the plant and walk around as the plant.
Speaker 1 (03:24):
But I felt see, I mean, am I wrong? I
felt like if I'm doing it right in front of
your face, right, you're you're less likely to think I'm
doing it because why would I do it rain in
front of your face?
Speaker 3 (03:36):
Like I whipped that phone.
Speaker 4 (03:37):
Out and I was like, it was too You're saying
it was too obvious? What they wouldn't notice it?
Speaker 1 (03:41):
Right?
Speaker 3 (03:42):
I Thought's what I thought, And I don't think they noticed.
Speaker 5 (03:44):
You know.
Speaker 3 (03:44):
Spencer's like, all up them, calm down, mom, But.
Speaker 2 (03:47):
I's hilarious, Danielle, I love it.
Speaker 6 (03:51):
Your sound was on so as you were taking pictures.
Speaker 3 (03:53):
It was the camera, it was not it was on silenced.
Speaker 2 (03:59):
Of course I sent that right off. Yeah, she's on
an assignment. She had to turn off with camera soap.
Speaker 3 (04:04):
It's going to be used at a later date.
Speaker 4 (04:06):
It's funny you brought this up because Samantha has a friend.
Is your friend a PI? A private investigator?
Speaker 7 (04:12):
Her boyfriend is so my friend was yeah the one training.
Speaker 4 (04:16):
Okay, so how do you train to become a private investigator?
Maybe maybe Danielle, you should train with her friend's boyfriend husband,
come on.
Speaker 7 (04:26):
Her boyfriend, so her boyfriend she volunteered to help her
boyfriend out. She knew she was going to be followed
for an entire day. She didn't know who or whatever,
so she went about a really normal schedule just knowing
someone was going to watch. That person had to take
like X amount of photo.
Speaker 3 (04:40):
And video and notes or whatever, and.
Speaker 7 (04:42):
Then she had to report back anything like suspicious or noticeable.
Speaker 3 (04:46):
Oh wow, I could do this.
Speaker 4 (04:51):
Official.
Speaker 2 (04:52):
Here's the thing.
Speaker 4 (04:53):
So she was supposed to be the target quote unquote,
and then her boyfriend is training a guy who's supposed
to follow her exactly.
Speaker 2 (05:04):
So but tell him the funny thing that happened.
Speaker 7 (05:06):
And she texts me two hours later she goes, I
spotted him, said how She goes, I'm in Marshalls and
I looked up and there was one person without a
shopping cart kind of watching me. So she started watching
that because she wanted taking a photo it and in
her notes it says, must have shopping cart in Marshalls.
Speaker 3 (05:22):
That's that is his note for period training.
Speaker 4 (05:25):
Danielle would say, you're at a Marshall. Now, let's say
you were walking past a Marshall's and you see your
friend's son's girlfriend walk into Marshall's with another guy, just
like you saw.
Speaker 2 (05:37):
It's a food court. Yeah, would you go? Would you
go into Marshalls and try to get a picture in there?
Speaker 3 (05:41):
Yeah?
Speaker 2 (05:43):
Would you remember to get a cart and look like
you're shopping?
Speaker 1 (05:47):
Probably not for now, now that I've been told, I'll
definitely get that cart next time.
Speaker 2 (05:52):
And you have to put stuff in the cart, and yeah,
I got to put you.
Speaker 4 (05:56):
If it's you, you can put any item in there,
because you could be shopping for your family whatever. If
it's the guys, if you start putting sports bras in there,
we're kind of wondering.
Speaker 2 (06:03):
What are you doing?
Speaker 1 (06:04):
Right?
Speaker 3 (06:04):
Yeah?
Speaker 2 (06:04):
I love that. Training to be a PI.
Speaker 3 (06:07):
Fun so cool.
Speaker 7 (06:08):
Yea, she got a whole bunch of photos of herself
later on in the day. She's like it was creepy,
even though I knew it was happening.
Speaker 6 (06:13):
Yeah, wow, we have a PI in the building.
Speaker 1 (06:18):
Chris, Yes, yeah, Chris, Oh yeah, yeah yeah, Christy.
Speaker 6 (06:22):
Yeah, he has all kinds of fascinating stories you talked
to on your podcast.
Speaker 2 (06:26):
Oh yeah, I had.
Speaker 6 (06:26):
Him on the podcast because I wanted to know he's
been doing this for a long time and now he
has a company that they just go out and investigate
a ton of stuff. And I just wanted to know
what are some of the craziest situations he's been in
and has he gotten caught doing it?
Speaker 2 (06:39):
Do you remember any great stories?
Speaker 6 (06:41):
Oh yeah, he was talking about. I mean, I can't
give the specifics because he didn't give them either, but
some celebrities that he's had to follow around who have
done some really shady stuff that he's busted, some couples.
He said, it's typically couples. It's a woman wanting to
know if the man is cheating, and almost always the
answer is yes.
Speaker 4 (07:00):
Okay, So she had the intuition, she hired a p
I to follow and she she's, ah, it's confirmed, yes.
Speaker 6 (07:07):
And he said he actually had a really good time
doing one of them, because following this couple around, he said,
they had the greatest date. They went to a good restaurant,
so we got to eat food. Then they went to
a concert he wanted to be part of, so he
got to go to that concert. All the while he's
telling these people taking pictures the whole time to send
back to the other one.
Speaker 2 (07:21):
Yeah. Now, was he ever caught?
Speaker 6 (07:24):
He said, he's never been caught So.
Speaker 2 (07:27):
Word of advice.
Speaker 4 (07:29):
If you're at the mall in the food court and
you see Daniel taking your photo from the cost of him,
you're obviously doing something wrong.
Speaker 3 (07:36):
Yeah, they didn't know it was made.
Speaker 1 (07:37):
The president does not know me, so they had no
idea that it was you know. I mean, I guess
I could be recognized since what I do for a living.
But I'm just saying I don't think that particular person knew. Okay,
maybe they knew Spencer, but you know, he was just
he just gets back.
Speaker 2 (07:55):
And it's a busy mall.
Speaker 3 (07:57):
Food it was absolute packed, and you know, to.
Speaker 2 (08:02):
Your son made fun of you.
Speaker 3 (08:04):
Yeah, yeah, Danielle.
Speaker 6 (08:07):
If it had come the other direction, So if your
friend was at the mall and she saw let's say
Spencer has a girlfriend, yeah, and his girlfriend was someone else,
and she sent you the video, would you save it
for a rainy day or would you immediately be.
Speaker 2 (08:18):
Like, Spencer, look at this.
Speaker 1 (08:20):
I would do research first and make sure that what
was going on there, and then I would do it.
Speaker 3 (08:25):
Because I did, because at first I wasn't sure.
Speaker 1 (08:27):
I was like, okay, well wait a minute, are these
people just friends or is it something else? Because it
was a guy girl, guy girl. So I was like,
look like a date and the certain individuals were really hot,
so I was like, I was like this is this
does not look good. And then they got a little
close and I'm like, yeah, this is not good. So
it was what I thought it was. So Danielle, if
(08:49):
they would you know, I don't know did.
Speaker 4 (08:52):
You feel that, Danielle feeling of satisfaction.
Speaker 1 (08:59):
Because because leave me, you don't need to know the
backstory to know that. At this point, you're like, Okay,
this is the icing on the cake and this is
all the person needs to know that. That's what it
came down to, because there's a lot that has gone down,
but you know, still.
Speaker 2 (09:14):
Okay, they're hot. It's going down.
Speaker 3 (09:17):
For sure.
Speaker 6 (09:19):
Wouldn't have followed them.
Speaker 4 (09:20):
But the ugly people wouldn't matter, but they're hot. This
brings up an another thought. I want to bring this
up on the show tomorrow about uh Sam's friend's boyfriend
who trains people to be private investigators. Look, you know
there's some if you're a server at a restaurant or
a cashier or whatever, they're there, you know that's that
(09:41):
that's typical training. And we know how they train what
crazy job did you have to train for and all
the weird stuff that you had to do in your training.
I want to get into that tomorrow. If we could say,
bring this back in tomorrow earlier, you got it.
