Speaker 1 (00:02):
Oh my gosh, look at this.

Speaker 2 (00:05):
We have all collected in this one little room to
celebrate the fact it's Friday.

Speaker 1 (00:17):
What day does this feel like to you?

Speaker 3 (00:18):
It feels like a Friday.

Speaker 4 (00:20):
Whoa Eli in the Morning show?

Speaker 1 (00:27):
It is a Friday. It's Friday, November twenty second. Welcome
to the weekend. Let me be the first to say
welcome to the weekend? Ever, buddy, Hello day. People keep
disappearing around this place. Where is everyone? Gandhi's out today,
Scary's out today. But we're all here. Yeah, that will
have to do.

Speaker 5 (00:49):
Well.

Speaker 1 (00:49):
There's no one glowing as much as Danielle Monaro today.
How was Wicked last night?

Speaker 3 (00:53):
I don't even know where to start. It was everything
you want and more.

Speaker 1 (00:58):
You didn't sing in the theater?

Speaker 3 (01:00):
I did not. It was very good.

Speaker 6 (01:02):
Everybody actually around me was very good as well. Nobody sang,
so it was good.

Speaker 1 (01:06):
All right? Can I play a song to start the
show just for you?

Speaker 3 (01:09):
Yeah, pful her. You're gonna be Populu.

Speaker 1 (01:15):
So if you're wondering, that is Ariana Grande popular per popular.
All right, So spill the beans. What'd you do? How
was it from the moment you walked in the theater
until the moment you walked in.

Speaker 6 (01:27):
Well, first of all, my husband decided to go as
Alphaba last night to the movie theaters with a green face.

Speaker 3 (01:33):
I don't know if.

Speaker 6 (01:33):
He's Alphaba team alphab but it was. I it's hard
to bring a production like that to the big screen,
that is so beautiful on Broadway, and they did it
so much justice and more. It's everything that anyone could
have hoped for. Everyone is perfectly cast, and there's not
one moment where I would have said, oh, they could

(01:54):
have done this differently.

Speaker 3 (01:56):
Nothing. It's so amazing and I cannot wait until next time.

Speaker 1 (01:59):
Well, they're saying that it is at two hours and
what forty how is it? They say it breezes by.

Speaker 6 (02:05):
You don't even realize it. I honestly was like, that
was two hours and forty minutes. It's that good.

Speaker 1 (02:10):
Wow, Daniel, it's amazing.

Speaker 3 (02:12):
I cried.

Speaker 1 (02:13):
You had tickets for how long?

Speaker 4 (02:14):
Oh?

Speaker 3 (02:15):
I bought them early October?

Speaker 1 (02:17):
And so we're assuming it's sold out, and it's going
to be sold out where it's not. So it's done.

Speaker 6 (02:21):
Yeah, I would think, I mean, I think you can
get little seats here and there, like one or two
here and there like last night. There were a couple,
but for the most part, you're not going to get
the good seats, you.

Speaker 1 (02:29):
Know, soane movie.

Speaker 3 (02:31):
No, it's not a plane movie.

Speaker 1 (02:32):
You want to Absolutely it'll be. It'll be on Delta
before you know it. But that's that's good to see
it this way. I can't wait to see it, Daniel.
So wait, you said you cried? Now, why did you cry? Happiness? Joy?

Speaker 5 (02:44):
What?

Speaker 6 (02:45):
It's just it's in such an emotional journey and it's
just so perfect and things that happened and the whole story.
And I cried for many different reasons. I walked out
of there crying. I was emotional mess. In the car.
I was hugging my Alpha popcorn bucket.

Speaker 1 (03:01):
Oh dear Lord, what were other people crying as well?
I mean, was it like a collective cry?

Speaker 6 (03:07):
There was a lot of people teary eyed, and a
lot of people as they were leaving, going wow, I
can't even believe what.

Speaker 1 (03:12):
I just saw. Well, we've got to get we've got
to get into this more as the morning progresses. I've
got I've got questions. I can't wait to see it.
Let's go talk to our first caller of the day. Actually,
our last first caller of the day of the week.
How do you like that, Becky? Becky, are you way
out in east Hampton? You way out there right now?

Speaker 7 (03:30):
I am? Good morning, Wow.

Speaker 1 (03:33):
Good morning, Welcome to the day. Way out there, close
to the tip, not quite not quite the tip, yeah,
but like just yes yeah. So do you live full
time in Easthampton?

Speaker 8 (03:45):
Yes?

Speaker 5 (03:46):
I do.

Speaker 7 (03:46):
I didn't grow up out here, but when I married
my husband, we moved out here, and I'm a teacher
out here.

Speaker 1 (03:50):
Yeah, I used to do. I used to have a
place in Southampton. I loved it out there. It was great,
it was awesome. Well, look, you are the first caller
of the day. We're into the weekend. What's your weekend
going to be a I'm all about out there, Becky?

Speaker 7 (04:03):
Well, I did see Wicked on Wednesday, Sorry, Danielle. I
saw it early.

Speaker 3 (04:07):
That's okay.

Speaker 8 (04:07):
I saw it.

Speaker 9 (04:08):
I saw it in.

Speaker 7 (04:09):
Three D, which was pretty good but probably not needed,
right and this weekend is just going to be, you know,
driving my kids all over and just relaxing.

Speaker 1 (04:21):
Well, so hold on a second. Back to your your
viewing of Wicked. What did you think about it? How
did it affect you?

Speaker 7 (04:29):
I loved it. I loved it, I thought, I mean,
I've seen Wicked on Broadway and I felt like I
was at the Broadway show, Like it was amazing. They
really did an amazing job with it.

Speaker 1 (04:39):
Yeah, I can't wait to see it. All Right. Well,
now you got me, now you got me in Well,
you are the first caller of the day. We got
to give you something. What do you have for our
friend Becky Nate?

Speaker 10 (04:48):
Well, for Becky's relaxing weekend, I think we're going to
hook her up with an Audible twelve month membership and
Amazon Echo. And how about a two hundred and fifty
dollars Amazon gift card? Oh my god.

Speaker 11 (04:59):
Wow Ah, there's there's so much great stuff to listen
to on Audible, and you have the Echo on the
way so you can you know, you have someone to
talk to when your husband's not around.

Speaker 1 (05:10):
And our two hundred and fifty dollars it's a gift card.
Really yeah, how about that congratulation.

Speaker 7 (05:19):
Thank you so much, Thank you so much.

Speaker 1 (05:22):

List Ran and the Morning Show.

Speaker 1 (06:16):
You know what, as you get into the weekend, you're
thinking about, well, I need to spend some time on
my own. Therefore, I need something to do on my own.
How about a good listen. You know, we were talking
to our first caller a moment ago about Audible and
we gave her, gosh, a huge, huge subscription to Audible.
And you know there's no one that loves Audible more
than Danielle. I mean, you're always going back and forth

(06:38):
from reading the actual book to listening to books right well.

Speaker 6 (06:40):
One hundred percent. Whenever I go on my walks every day,
I have my Audible with me. Sometimes it's bad at
home because my husband will say, are you listening to me?
Or are you listening to your book? It's exactly it's
usually the book.

Speaker 1 (06:52):
Yeah, there you go. Hey, let's be honest, let's be
transparent when they ask questions like that. Yes, here's the thing. Audible,
of course, is our partner, and we love talking about them.
They just released their best of twenty twenty four list.
So as you give these Audible listens and subscriptions as gifts,
this best of twenty twenty four list can work hand

(07:13):
in hand with it, so they know what to listen to,
memoirs or sci fi thrillers well being hidden. There's lots
of hidden gems in there. Oh yeah, let's look at
the top of the list right here. Nineteen eighty four.
What do you know about nineteen eighty four?

Speaker 6 (07:26):
So I know it's a new version of George Orwell's
dystopian classic nineteen eighty four. It's got an all new cast.
I know Cynthia Rivo is in that. Tom Hardy and
it's supposed to be this really dramatic retelling of the story,
so I'm sure it's amazing. I haven't listened to it yet,
but I cannot wait.

Speaker 1 (07:43):
So that's so cool. I mean, you could read nineteen
eighty four, which is a classic read, yeah, or listen
to it with actress like Andrew Garfield and Cynthia Rivo. Hello. Also,
The Women is another one that's on the list.

Speaker 6 (07:56):
I love Kristin Hannah. I have read so many of
her books and listened to many of her books. So
this is the story of one woman gone to war,
and it shines a light on all women who put
themselves at risk for their country and who are too
often forgotten. And it's supposed to be incredible. So that's
one that I have in my queue. I have lots
of books in Q Yes you do.

Speaker 1 (08:18):
The list goes on and on the best of twenty
twenty four list. Those are just two of the many picks.
You get a thirty day Audible trial. If you do this,
go to audible dot com slash Best of the Year
if you want and sign up. It's pretty simple. Any
other instructions we need to give other.

Speaker 6 (08:35):
Than that, No, I think that's it and it's just amazing.
You're gonna love it. Oh, you get the thirty if
you sign for free, you get the thirty eight Audible trial.

Speaker 3 (08:42):
Did we say that? I don't even Yes I did,
but you know it. I was listening to my book.

Speaker 1 (08:46):
What Up, Nate?

Speaker 13 (08:47):
Okay.

Speaker 10 (08:48):
I think this is a great way to get to
know somebody. So if I was to go on a
date with someone, one of the first questions I would
say is and ask is let me see your audible library,
because I think you can determine a lot about a
person by what they're listening to.

Speaker 1 (09:00):
I think that's sort of creepy, yet it seemed to
make sense at the same time. All right again, audible
dot com slash best of the Year, and let's get going.
Let's see what do we do here? Gandhi's gone, Look
we can do horoscopes. Let's do that. Okay, Producer Sam
is here. What'd you have for dinnerlast night? Anything good?

Speaker 3 (09:19):
Last night? It was just wine.

Speaker 14 (09:21):
I was really cleaning up and I forgot that it
was dinner time, and then it was too late for food.

Speaker 1 (09:25):
So that funny, you know, not last night, but the
night before I didn't I didn't eat. I totally forgot
to have dinner.

Speaker 15 (09:30):
I forgot.

Speaker 14 (09:30):
I'm like, oh my god, it's nine. I'll never sleep
if I start eating now. So fermented grapes it was.

Speaker 1 (09:35):
There you there you go. I had a little fermented
grape it for dinner last night too. Here we go,
and some sweet potato and yoki. That was good too.
All right, into the horscopes. Who are you doing them with?

Speaker 3 (09:45):
I've been bothering Danielle all day.

Speaker 14 (09:47):
Might as well keep going.

Speaker 6 (09:48):

You're doing everything. You're giving the movie reviews, you're doing
audible audible speeches, you're doing horoscopes and you have your
first report of the day on the way. What do
you have coming up?

Speaker 3 (11:14):
It is Wicked Friday if you didn't know. And Pink
has wrapped up her tour.

Speaker 15 (11:19):
All right, Dan and Moore coming up the Mercedes Benz
Interview Lounge.

Speaker 1 (11:23):

Speaker 12 (11:25):

of you. Everybody did the home at the same time,
and everyone came in on a different note, and I thought,
oh my god, that would probably make Charlie Poo's but
hoole pucker.

Speaker 1 (11:35):
And then I think it was.

Morning Show.

Speaker 1 (11:53):
You know I noticed Gandhi even though she's not here,
she left us a gift. Yes, she left us at Connections. Nicey,
Let's just do it. Connection is twenty four, the second one, Nate,
This one works, so thank you, Gandhi. Don't you love
it when someone you love leaves you like a little
hidden love note, A little treasure, A little treasure yeah,

(12:15):
or sometimes Froggy, you can relate. The dogs leave a
little poop on the floor and you walk on it
in the morning when the lights are still off and
it squishes between your toes. You know what I'm saying, right,
it's it's really great, these gifts they have.

Speaker 3 (12:29):
Froggy's Mike, I don't think is on you?

Speaker 1 (12:32):
Okay, here, Hey, he's trying to talk, but he's not here.
We go. Here's connections twenty four of these four pieces
of sound, according to Gandhi, anyway, they have something in common.
Let's see if you can tell what Okay, start over here,
we let's see if you can tell what it is.

Speaker 13 (13:00):
Though I have to say goodbye, politic.

Speaker 3 (13:05):
Can honey back?

Speaker 1 (13:09):
Okay, those four those four pieces of sound. I'm not
gonna say songs because it could be the artist. The
artist may have something in college duran or it no,
or it could be the key the song was recorded in.
What I'm saying is I don't know. It could be anything.
I'm not quite sure one hundred percent. What's the answer is,

(13:29):
But those four pieces of sound have something in common.
You want to hear it again, turn it out really loud.
Here it is one more time, though, I have to say.

Speaker 13 (13:48):
Goodbye politic.

Speaker 3 (13:51):
Can honey?

Speaker 1 (13:54):
All right, there you go. They do have something in common.
Call Diamond. Now we want to hear from you. Eight
hundred two four to two zero one hundred all right,
daniel while they're doing that, yes, you do this all right?
As we continue on the Danielle Show where she does everything.

Speaker 6 (14:07):
Today it is Wicked Friday, Welcome to week, and Gladiator
of Friday too, I guess right, okay, anyway, let's no, you.

Speaker 1 (14:16):
Can't gloss over Gladiator like that.

Speaker 6 (14:18):
Oh, Gladiator is gonna do amazing in the movies, actually
in the theater. I think it might have been playing
in the theater next week because I heard a lot
of explosions and stuff.

Speaker 3 (14:26):
Is that is that in that movie?

Speaker 1 (14:27):
A lot of explosions in ancient row?

Speaker 5 (14:29):
Now?

Speaker 3 (14:29):
Oh yeah, that's yeah. So maybe that was a different
movie we.

Speaker 1 (14:32):
Heard, like we heard planes flying by and things. Gladiator,
remember that airplane war? They had a Gladiator.

Speaker 3 (14:40):
That might have been a different movie.

Speaker 17 (14:41):
Then.

Speaker 6 (14:41):
Okay, so let's talk about John Chu, your director of
a Wicked I don't know if you read this or
saw this interview, but he was talking about Ariana Grande
when she came into audition for Glinda and he said,
she came in full makeup and it was Ariana Grande
and he kind of looked at her and was like,
you know, what if we try this differently? What if
you come back and you don't have any makeup on?

(15:03):
And he didn't know how she was gonna take that,
but she said, okay. She came back and he said
he totally saw her in a different light, and that's
basically how she nailed the part.

Speaker 3 (15:12):
So there you.

Speaker 6 (15:12):
Go, and when you watch the movie, you're gonna understand
why she nailed the part.

Speaker 3 (15:16):
It's just amazing. It's so amazing.

Speaker 6 (15:19):
Previous screenings of Wicked earned at least twenty million bucks overnight.
It's I mean two hours and forty minutes, but like
I said, it's it goes really quickly. It's faithful to
the Broadway musical, and it really is appropriate for ages
eight and up. The scariest part, to be honest, are
the flying monkeys. That's really the scariest part.

Speaker 1 (15:38):
Oh, no, you're ruining it for Oh come on.

Speaker 3 (15:39):
Give me a break.

Speaker 1 (15:40):
You're spoiling it. Oh he's flying monkey.

Speaker 3 (15:42):
It's flying monkeys.

Speaker 1 (15:43):
I didn't know that until now at some point.

Speaker 6 (15:45):
So but other than that, I think anybody, any age
can go and see it because it is amazing and
I loved every single minute.

Speaker 3 (15:51):
I cannot wait to see it again.

Speaker 6 (15:53):
So cher has revealed this is so interesting that Tina
Turner asked her for advice about how to get out
of her abusive marriage to Ike Turner. So she shares
these details in her new book, Share the Memoir, Part one,
and she said, apparently Tina appeared on SHA's TV show
after Cherre had left Sunny Bono, and while they were backstage,

(16:15):
Tina asked her point blank, tell me how you left him?
And Tina asked this after she needed help covering up
the bruise on her arm, that I think a lot
of people knew about that if you watch the movie.
So what was SHA's piece of advice? She said, I
just walked out and I kept going.

Speaker 3 (16:32):
So there you go. Did you read any of the
book yet?

Speaker 1 (16:35):
No?

Speaker 4 (16:35):
No.

Speaker 1 (16:36):
As a matter of fact, I think I think someone
written me off. It is not even at my house.
Sh whipped, Oh my, I don't know, I don't know.
I've got to get I've got to get on it
with Amon's up here.

Speaker 6 (16:45):
After seventeen months of performing, Pink has wrapped up her
Summer Carnival and Trustful tour. She said an emotional thank
you to her fans. One hundred and thirty one shows,
ninety eight cities, fifteen countries, four million people, and a
lifetime of memory. So she is very grateful to every
body who she took the stage with. Let's see in
your theaters. Obviously, Wicked is in your theaters. Oh can

(17:07):
I just say the guy who plays a Fierro, he's
from Bridgerton. His name is Jonathan Bailey, Right, Elvis, You
are gonna love him. He is so smoking hot and he.

Speaker 1 (17:17):
Doesn't get carried off by a flying monkey.

Speaker 6 (17:19):
Does not, at least not in part one of Wicked.
But you're gonna love it and you're gonna love him.
He's really really awesome. Also, Gladiator too is in your theaters.
And Flow about an animated cat I think is also out.

Speaker 3 (17:33):
I don't know about that one.

Speaker 1 (17:34):
I don't know.

Speaker 6 (17:35):
Tim Gaffick and the Skinny That stand up special is
tonight on Hulu for football Sunday Night Football. You've got
the Rams and the Eagles, Yellowstone, You've got that if
you want to watch that the first season finale of
the franchise that's on as well.

Speaker 3 (17:48):
And of course I don't know.

Speaker 6 (17:49):
I just say go to the movies this weekend because
it's just you're gonna love everything.

Speaker 3 (17:53):
And that's my Danielle report.

Speaker 1 (17:55):
All right, excellent, excellent.

Speaker 18 (17:56):
All right.

Speaker 1 (17:56):
So people are calling in they think they have the
connections figured out. Let's go talk to Katie online fourteen.
Let's see if you can figure this out. Now, you
have to be very specific with this, Katie. Okay, okay,
let me let me play. Let me I know this
is a very serious moment. Let me let me play
the four pieces of sound in the connections one more time.
Here they are.

Speaker 13 (18:25):
Me, though I have to say goodbye.

Speaker 3 (18:32):
I can hold it back again.

Speaker 1 (18:36):
All right, Katie, what are those four songs have in common?

Speaker 5 (18:41):
They are all from a movie.

Speaker 1 (18:43):
Okay, that is true. That is true. They're all four
from a movie. But there's something else they have in
common in addition to that. Do you know what that
could be?

Speaker 6 (18:55):
I don't think so.

Speaker 1 (18:57):
Oh no, Well, anyway, according to Gandhi, I hope she's correct.
Let's see. All right, Well, thank you, Katie, thank you
so much. They are from a movie from movies? What
was it made for? Shallow from Starsbourne, remember Me from Coco?
And Let It Go from Frozen. All right, let's go
talk to Rich Rich.

Speaker 4 (19:16):
Hey, good morning, Hey, good morning.

Speaker 1 (19:18):
So you heard the connections? Here it is again. Listen closely.

Speaker 13 (19:33):
So I have to see goodbye it.

Speaker 3 (19:38):
Can hold it back again?

Speaker 1 (19:41):
All right, we know they're from movies, but what else
do they have in common? Can you tell us?

Speaker 18 (19:47):
Admittedly that wasn't part of my guests, but I'm gonna
piggyback it anyway. I was gonna say that it was
the acoustic renditions of the original versions of the song
that we're being inserted in movies.

Speaker 1 (19:59):
Deep here, Oh yeah, I know, I know, but you
know it takes a special mind to come up with
an answer like that, and that's very deep. That's not
the answer, though I liked it. I already got into
that answer, Rich, while I have my second. Well, no,
you had more than five seconds, Rich, and you deserve
even more. Listen. Thank you so much. I do appreciate it.

(20:19):
You have a great weekend. Okay, all this I've.

Speaker 18 (20:22):
Been listening since I've been living in Brooklyn since nineteen ninety.
You are radio and I'm the biggest fan.

Speaker 1 (20:29):
Oh, Rich, Rich, thank you so much. Anyway, Yeah, you
know what, we got a winner right here on for it.
All right, well, thank you Rich. I do appreciate that
so much. And you have the best weekend ever. Now
that you said something is glowing, is that my ego
is exploding in my hearty? Thank you very much, Rich.

(20:49):
All right? Well okay, so according to Gandhi, these four
songs have something else in common. I wonder what it is.
You can call or text whatever called diamond eight hundred
two four two zero.

Speaker 4 (21:00):
Elvis ter Ran in the Morning Show.

Speaker 1 (21:03):

Sco elvist Iran in the Morning Show.

Speaker 1 (21:29):
Well, put in this, Danielle. So many people trying to
figure out these connections. I mean, we've had people texting
in and calling in, and you know, a lot of
people are starting to get it and figure it out.
Let's go see if Christian online twelve can figure it out.
Christian by the way down the street from froggy and
beautiful Jacksonville, Florida. How you doing Christian out here? It's
cold down there.

Speaker 19 (21:48):
It is very cold for Florida November exactly.

Speaker 1 (21:52):
I know in Miami it's in the low fifties, but
it feels like it's forty eight degrees in Miami right now.
So oh, they're Frog, Hey, Frog, welcome back from the bathroom.
This is Christian. He's from Jacksonville, by the way.

Speaker 20 (22:03):
What's up, Christian, little coldest morning and going to be
even colder tonight, down into the thirties tonight.

Speaker 1 (22:07):
They're saying, look at that. No, no one's ready for it.
And it's snowing up here. So so in four inches, yeah, wow,
it must be a good day for Nate. It was
anyway that aside, Christian, you heard us play the connections,

(22:28):
the four bits of sound that Gandhi left us. Let
me play it again for anyone who could be turning
us on right now here.

Speaker 5 (22:33):
It is.

Speaker 13 (22:42):
Me, so I have to say goodbye.

Speaker 3 (22:47):
Let it can.

Speaker 1 (22:53):
All right? They have something in common? Can you tell us, Christian?
Those four songs have something in common? What is it?

Speaker 7 (22:59):
They all won an award for Best Original Song from
a Movie.

Speaker 1 (23:04):
Okay, which award was it?

Speaker 9 (23:09):
I'm gonna go with a.

Speaker 5 (23:13):
B.

Speaker 1 (23:14):
It's the big movie Award. Did you say Oscar?

Speaker 19 (23:19):
I did say Oscar.

Speaker 1 (23:20):
It's an Oscar. Absolutely, you've got it. They all for
won Oscar for Best Original Song. That was from Barbie,
and one Shallow from a Starsborn Remember Me from Coco,
and Let It Go from Frozen. How cool is that?

Speaker 3 (23:35):
Awesome?

Speaker 1 (23:35):
I love that. What do we have for our friend, Christian?
It's not much.

Speaker 10 (23:39):
It's five hundred dollars reference it's Snickers. Sorry, are you serious?

Speaker 1 (23:44):
Rappy prize? I know, so sorry? Five hundred bucks. That's unbelievable.
Good going man.

Speaker 9 (23:51):
Wow, thanks guys.

Speaker 6 (23:53):
I'm kind of missing scary today opening up the Snickers
Christmas tree and shoving it in his mouth.

Speaker 1 (23:59):
I know. Well, listen hold on one second, Christian. Five
hundred dollars thanks to Snickers trees on the way. So yeah,
we love Snickers, but for this Christmas and this holiday season,
Snickers trees. I've never seen these before, these new they're perfect.

Speaker 10 (24:12):
There, you don't remember we were talking about stocking stuffers
on the fifteen minute Morning Show yesterday. These are the
perfect stocking stuffers. Yeah, God, they're perfect for But is
that is that a yes?

Speaker 1 (24:21):
Or no? Are they new? I don't know. Is anyone listening?

Speaker 5 (24:23):
Hello?

Speaker 1 (24:24):
Oh they are new, They're brand new. I love them.

Speaker 3 (24:27):
You hear the little rapper?

Speaker 1 (24:29):
Yeah, I hear the RAPPERM thank you, thank you, Danielle.
So you have this holiday season, your stalking needs needs
to be stuffed with Snickers trees. Unfortunately, in my house,
they'll never make them to the stocking. They'll go in
my mouth. It's that classic Snickers flavor you love, all
dressed up for some holiday flare. And it sounds like this, oh,

(24:50):
Danielle Q. I don't know. It sounds like a fire.

Speaker 3 (24:57):
I mean, don't put them by the.

Speaker 1 (25:02):
Anyway. I love that. That is from Snickers. The Snickers
trees available now five hundred dollars. That's a lot of money.

Speaker 3 (25:07):
Yeah, I cash.

Speaker 1 (25:08):
So we have more cash all the way, I hope.
All right, So we do have Joey McIntyre coming by
later this morning. He has so much going on. Have
you heard the list?

Speaker 3 (25:17):
Yeah, it's crazy, tell us.

Speaker 1 (25:19):
The list an album. Also, New Kids on the Block
will be doing a residency in Las Vegas next year
twenty twenty five. He's on Broadway currently starring in Drag
the musical YEP, and he's also in the Macy's Thanksgiving
Day Parade.

Speaker 3 (25:35):
I'm going to get to see him. I'm so excited.

Speaker 1 (25:37):
Right, is there something else? There's a fifth there's a
fifth thing? It was the other one. Well, we'll figure
it out when we get together with Joey McIntyre in
about an hour and change. What's that name?

Speaker 10 (25:48):
You should give him a fifth thing, Elvis, You really should.
I mean the guy doesn't seem busy.

Speaker 3 (25:52):
Oh yeah, yeah, he's good.

Speaker 1 (25:53):
No, yeah, I mean he's got.

Speaker 10 (25:54):
Plenty of down to doing a Broadway show that's memorized.
You don't have to work on that. The album's probably done.
He's not really doing anything there.

Speaker 3 (26:02):
How about family time? He probably likes some of that time.

Speaker 1 (26:05):
There's something else going on, right, We'll have to ask
him when he gets here. So Joey McIntyre will be
here in like I said, an hour and some change.

Speaker 12 (26:13):
Hey, it's Gandhi and you might have heard of my
podcast Sauce on the side. If not, come explore the
parts of my brain that we don't talk about. On

Speaker 3 (26:32):

Speaker 4 (26:34):
And subscribe Elvis Duran and the Morning Show.

Speaker 1 (26:41):
I'm so glad you decided to show up today.

Speaker 4 (26:44):
Right now, Elvis ter Ran in the Morning Show.

Speaker 1 (26:47):
Well, welcome to the weekend. All right, let's talk it
a little about Danielle's experience seeing Wicked last night. Okay,
let's talk about Ariana Grande. Do you what do you
think look, you know, on a crystal ballet. What do
you think this is going to do for her career?

Speaker 7 (27:01):
Oh?

Speaker 6 (27:01):
My, I mean, she's just so famous already. I feel
like I don't know how much more I could even
do for her.

Speaker 1 (27:06):
But she's she's been really famous as an an actress,
elite actress in a major, major emotion picture like this though.

Speaker 3 (27:13):
Yeah, no, that is true. That is true.

Speaker 6 (27:14):
I mean I've seen her on you know, TV shows
and stuff. But she she's just she's amazing. She is Glinda.
She really is. And I was saying in my report
before that when she auditioned for the part, she came
in full full makeup, and the director said, you know what,
all I could see is Ariana. So he made her
re audition without makeup on, and he saw her in

(27:36):
a whole new light, and she just it's very easy
to overdo that character, to like just do a little
too much of the flightiness, a little too much of
the you know, Kristin Chenowith in the Broadway show she
was perfection, and I think she takes a lot of
what she brings to the movie Ariana from Kristin. She's
she's brilliant. She is brilliant. She really is.

Speaker 1 (27:57):
Wow, look at that all right? Perfect? Uh let's go
round the room. But Nate, before we go, what do
you think.

Speaker 10 (28:03):
When when Ariana was announced as that character, I was like,
I don't know, And then I saw her in the
trailer and you forget that.

Speaker 1 (28:12):
It's yeah, you.

Speaker 3 (28:13):
Really do the little hair flip, right, Okay.

Speaker 1 (28:19):
Well, and that's the that's the mark of a great actor,
I guess. So I'm just wondering, like, what's what's next,
What's next for her after something this bold?

Speaker 3 (28:29):
Well, Wicked too coming out next year. There again, I
think they could win awards for this movie. I really do.
I mean, it's that good, it's so good.

Speaker 1 (28:41):
Well, all right, we'll see, we'll see. Let's go round
the room. What's on the minds of people in the room.
We are missing too, mind you, Gandhi and Scary are
out today. God, I wonder who's next. They will be back.
So we think let's start with producer saying, what's on
your mind today?

Speaker 14 (28:59):
All right, as the whole season approaches, I want to
remind everyone that this is an advanced action.

Speaker 3 (29:03):
To protect your peace.

Speaker 14 (29:06):
If there's a family and we all have I'm a
family member you love so much but they drive you
a little nuts, or a topic that's just super touchy,
just be ready, whether it be having an ally in
the family that you give the eyes to or something
you're ready to say in retort. Just pre plan because
every year something happens and I'm a family member of
mine is shocked.

Speaker 3 (29:25):
I'm like, really, you're surprised.

Speaker 1 (29:27):
Uncle so and so said what every year?

Speaker 3 (29:30):
So you know, protect your peace?

Speaker 14 (29:31):
Be a little offensive this year, not you know what
I mean?

Speaker 16 (29:34):
Play off this.

Speaker 1 (29:36):
Wait, I'll have heard of something about my peace and offensive.

Speaker 3 (29:40):
I'm offensive about peace?

Speaker 1 (29:41):
Okay, done, thank you so much. What's up with you? Frog?
What are you thinking about today?

Speaker 20 (29:45):
So I'm not listening. I love the holidays. I'm not
trying to be a scrooge. But I came up with
a new rule in our house. I'm sure Danielle is
going to have a problem with it, which everybody else
will agree with me. So Lisa said, oh, there's this
new holiday market I want to go to this weekend.

Speaker 1 (29:58):
I'm like, oh, you should go. That's great. But here's
the rule.

Speaker 20 (30:01):
Any new holiday item that comes into the house something
else must leave the house because.

Speaker 1 (30:06):
We don't want a thing. Are you kidding me?

Speaker 20 (30:09):
So the holiday bins are full, so if we're going
to add to the bin, then we must subtract from
the bin to make.

Speaker 1 (30:13):
Room for the new item. I'm all about new things.
So how does she respond to that? She told me
to just shut the hell.

Speaker 20 (30:21):
Up, and I think it's going to be brought in when.

Speaker 1 (30:25):
I'm not home.

Speaker 3 (30:25):
Actually said, just get a new bin.

Speaker 20 (30:28):
That's her answer. We'll just get a new bin. We'll
just fill up it on the one. That's all right,
A new holiday bin it's very oldest down.

Speaker 1 (30:35):
All right, let me know how that goes. We're kind
of curious. Hey, let's add Scotty Be to the mix today.
What's on your mind today? Scotty?

Speaker 21 (30:41):
My holiday related to if you're a frequent supermarket shopper.
Most supermarkets do this. They give you a free turkey
when you earn points, and a lot of people just
don't redeem it and let it go to waste.

Speaker 1 (30:52):
Don't do that.

Speaker 21 (30:53):
Redeem it, take your free turkey and donate it. Every year,
I take my daughter's We go to the Best Page
Federal Credit Union Turkey Drive, which we're going to today,
and we donate our free turkeys. And you know me,
I have more than one savings card, so I get
free free turkeys. Don't tell anybody. So I'm going to
donate three turkeys today. So do that.

Speaker 1 (31:09):
If you get a free turkey from wherever you show. Yeah,
I'm gonna knock on the door. Go I've got good
news and bad news. The good news, I have three
turkeys for you. The bad news they're still alive. So
here you go. We've had our experience with live turkeys.
It ain't a fun day.

Speaker 3 (31:25):
I thought we had the best time with those turkeys.

Speaker 1 (31:27):
That was fun. Oh that was a nightmare. We we
there's a place in hell waiting for us after what
we did with those turkeys.

Speaker 3 (31:34):
Turkeys they were I know.

Speaker 1 (31:37):
Yeah, it's so wrong.

Speaker 3 (31:39):
It's so many levels.

Speaker 1 (31:40):
Oh god, it's feeding turkey to the turkeys.

Speaker 3 (31:43):
Do we try to get a taxi cab with the turkey?

Speaker 16 (31:45):
Yes?

Speaker 1 (31:46):
Yes? And then great t tried to take one to
a porn theater. Yes that story, oh yeah, yeah it was.
It was a great tea and Vinnie de Vingo and
they had a turkey. So they went to one of
those peep shows that they were used to be everywhere
in their Times Square, right, yeah, and they try to
get in to go see an X rayed film with
a turkey. Threw it up over the glass.

Speaker 5 (32:07):
Oh my god.

Speaker 1 (32:08):
Yeah, the guy, the guy at the at the counter
was behind bulletproof glass. But so they took the turkey
and they tried to hoist it above the glass to
put him back in the little cage.

Speaker 5 (32:20):
It was.

Speaker 1 (32:21):
Can we move on? Please?

Speaker 5 (32:23):
Uh?

Speaker 1 (32:24):
Those days are done, Nate. What's on your mind today?

Speaker 10 (32:26):
On a serious note, it is November, which is Native
American Heritage month, right, I know, we talked about the
Navajo Nation before I've actually visited it, and I went
to Saint bnav Intermission in School, which their purpose out
there is multifaceted, and one of the things that they're
so focused on is getting people water because Danielle, for instance,
you probably brush your teeth this morning. You used more

(32:48):
water brushing your teeth than these people get in a
single day than an entire family gets. They only they
subsist on five to seven gallons of water, and it's
really heartbreaking that that that's what they're dealing with out there.
But Saint Bonaventure Mission in School is trying to do
all they can. So do yourself a favor. Google Saint
Bonaventure Mission in School and see what they're all about

(33:10):
and what their purpose is out there.

Speaker 1 (33:12):
And you know, they've been part of our circle for
many years now. We really do appreciate what they do
out there. So yeah, give them the name again. St.

Speaker 10 (33:20):
Bonaventure Mission in School. They're doing great things for the
Navajo Nation and you can help them do even greater things.

Speaker 1 (33:26):
So excellent, excellent, Danielle, what's up with you today?

Speaker 6 (33:30):
So everybody needs a partner in their life, like my
husband Shelton because he just matches my crazy. I literally
came down the stairs yesterday and said, Okay, are you
ready to go see Wicked? And he was sitting there
with a full green face on, like Alphabah. And I
originally said, are you going to wear the hat at least?
And he said, well, I don't want to block anyone's

(33:50):
view with the movies. So then I said are you
taking the makeup off before we go? And he said no,
So yes, we did.

Speaker 3 (33:57):
Experience it him with his.

Speaker 6 (33:59):
Green and he got lots of people stopping him, telling
him how he was all in, and they were so
excited that he came to the movies halfway dressed like
alphaba and I have everything posted at Radio Danielle Minaro
if you would like to see it on my instancetory
and my Instagram and.

Speaker 3 (34:14):
We just had the best time.

Speaker 6 (34:15):
So have someone match your crazy like he matches my crazy,
because it was just sounds.

Speaker 1 (34:21):
Like he's somewhat surpassed you crazy.

Speaker 3 (34:24):
I think I have to step up my game. I
feel like, I don't know, like I'm lacking. I've got
a sweatsuit on today, That's about it.

Speaker 6 (34:29):
But you know, anyway, yes, so we have the best
time on the movie is so worth it.

Speaker 3 (34:33):
Please go see it when you can.

Speaker 1 (34:36):
Okay, yeah, there you go, and there's you around the room. Lovely.
We do have a thousand dollars free money phone tap
all in the way show I'm gonna play Hooky Gibye
Elvis Duran.

Speaker 4 (34:47):
And the Morning Show, Elvis Duran and the Morning Show.

Speaker 1 (34:57):
So when knew, what does see Wi kied? I'm assuming
it's a full Wicked crowd, and so everyone's kind of
cool and there for the same reason. It's not like
you go see a movie that you know everyone's just
going to see for different reasons, right, right, So I'm
sure everyone was well behaved. Yeah right, No one was
singing out loud and being obnoxious.

Speaker 6 (35:16):
There is a thing in the beginning and it's you know,
it's about like how to behave at the movie theater
and they actually have the cast of Wicked doing it,
and it does say don't sing, So what really does
say that?

Speaker 3 (35:28):
Yeah, so if people listen.

Speaker 6 (35:29):
And it's funny because I was online with this guy
waiting for my popcorn and he goes, hey, do you
think people are gonna start singing in this theater?

Speaker 3 (35:37):
And I go I don't know, and he's like, oh.

Speaker 13 (35:38):
I hope not.

Speaker 1 (35:40):
Did anyone have their phones up trying to record it?

Speaker 3 (35:43):
I didn't notice that. I didn't notice that at all.

Speaker 6 (35:45):
I just I've really noticed people were just really into it,
and like even at the end, like people clapped at
the end because it.

Speaker 3 (35:53):
Was so good. But it's okay though, Yeah it was.

Speaker 6 (35:55):
I felt like people were silent walking out because we
were really emotional about you know, and it ends like
the first act ends at the Broadway show because you
know it's coming.

Speaker 3 (36:05):
Part two is coming next year.

Speaker 1 (36:07):
There you go the money note? Does she see the
money notes?

Speaker 4 (36:10):
Money?

Speaker 1 (36:10):
But she doesn't Broadway the money Wow, that's so funny. Hey,
so uh, movie theater etiquette. Look, you know, as we
rolled into the holidays, more and more of us are
going to go see movies. A lot of great stuff
coming out this year. So they did a poll. They
asked people their worst worst experiences as far as dealing
with bad etiquette. Number One, people who were actually facetiming

(36:35):
other people during the film.

Speaker 3 (36:36):
Oh my gosh, stop it.

Speaker 1 (36:38):
Can you imagine?

Speaker 5 (36:39):
No?

Speaker 1 (36:40):
Do you have no consideration for others facetiming someone while
you're sitting there watching a movie that was inane. That
is insane, right, taking a phone call, having a conversation
and texting, texting, even texting because the light of your phone, right,
of course everyone can see it.

Speaker 3 (36:57):
Of course, of course. Yeah.

Speaker 1 (36:59):
Also that interact with the film, M like, oh, dear god,
here she comes, here, she comes, here, she comes. Yeah,
he's gonna die. He's gonna die. Shut up.

Speaker 6 (37:08):
Yeah, that happened at a Broadway show I went to.
There was a huge scene. It was Miss Saigon, and
I had seen it already, thank goodness, because there was
a huge scene where you find out that you know,
she has a child, and people who had never seen
the Broadway show didn't know, and all of a sudden,
this woman yells out here comes her kid.

Speaker 3 (37:26):
I'm like, oh my gosh, oh my god, I just
do that.

Speaker 1 (37:30):
I would cut she does? She did? You would cut
a bitch. I would cut it. That's other. That's more
bad etiquette, cutting a bitch during the movie. See, unless
it's warranted. My god, No, no, no, I'm sorry, Nate.
I don't think cutting a bitch is wanted.

Speaker 3 (37:45):
No, I don't think so.

Speaker 10 (37:47):
You might technically be right, but I'm one of these people.
I cannot have chewing talking phones. Just shut up and
enjoy the movie. I have mad dog people.

Speaker 6 (37:58):
I'm like, order, you know what you have, Sheldon crazy
when you haven't opened up whatever it is you're eating
until the movie starts. And then we're sitting next to
someone and you hear this, stop it, And Sheldon's like, really,
they couldn't have opened that up before the actual movie starts.

Speaker 1 (38:12):
Of course they could think it through or you know,
then just wait until like explosions and things to.

Speaker 3 (38:18):
Way something something.

Speaker 1 (38:20):
Yeah. So I mean also putting your feet up on
the seat in front of you. Keep in mind with
the people behind you are looking at your feet between them.

Speaker 3 (38:28):
And the screen's disgusting.

Speaker 1 (38:31):
Eating and drinking loudly talking during the movie. Shut up.

Speaker 3 (38:36):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (38:36):
And I know I'm not wrong on this. I know
I'm Some people will talk during the movie. You ask
them to please please be quiet, and they look at
you like you've done something wrong. I'm like, no, shut up.

Speaker 3 (38:48):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (38:51):
But also, yelling at someone for doing something rude is
rude too. So I mean starting a skirm is starting
a fight with someone that's rude too.

Speaker 10 (39:03):
That's a fine line though, because if you shut down
the original annoyer, then you're the hero.

Speaker 6 (39:08):
Yeah, but you might not because a lot of times
the original annoyers double down right and oh yeah.

Speaker 3 (39:14):
And then they'll stand up in the movie theater and
then forget about it. It's all over.

Speaker 1 (39:18):
But the talkker is one of my pet peeves, like,
don't open that door. You know what she's gotta see back.
You know what's gonna happen here. Don't open that door.
Shut up, shut up, just shut up. So why do
we go? So why do we believe that seeing a
film with a collection of people is better than sitting

(39:39):
in a theater alone. I happen to think that there
is an energy you get from other people who are
watching the film, and when something funny happens, everyone laughs.
That's good. Yeah, you know, if there's the collective laugh,
we're all experiencing this together. It's just those people who
do the rude things. And you know who you are.
You're listening right now. Just sit there and just a

(40:00):
almost go into a coma. Don't even move barely breathe.
I'm just I don't even when you blink your eyes,
do it silently. I don't want to hear your eyes blinking.
I want I don't want to, you know what I'm saying.

Speaker 10 (40:12):
Yeah, yeah, Nate, can I pull back the curtain here
for a second. So in the movie industry, there's things
called media screenings, right when you can go before the
movie opens and see it. I love those because it's
people that are there to enjoy the movie. Maybe they're
reviewing it, maybe they're a part of the whole process,
and they pay attention. They don't talk, they respect, they'll

(40:33):
stay through the credits.

Speaker 3 (40:35):
Yep.

Speaker 1 (40:35):
Those are the screenings I like. Not with these yahoos
with their goobers and and you know Raisin Eggs these Yeah, y'all,
who's with goobers?

Speaker 3 (40:45):
Do they still sell goobers?

Speaker 1 (40:46):
I think they still sell they still sell goobers?

Speaker 7 (40:48):
Right?

Speaker 1 (40:48):
And that song my favorite things? Y'all who's with goobers
and doesn't think about Google? I don't take someone, y'all
who's with goobers? Listen to Kelly calling him from beautiful Orlando.
Good morning, Kelly. Is it cold there today? Are you
kind of shivering a little bit? Are you shivering?

Speaker 8 (41:07):
Yeah?

Speaker 22 (41:07):
It's creazing. It feels like thirty nine threes here, Yeah.

Speaker 1 (41:10):
I know, it feels like forty four in Miami. Right
now if you're wondering why it feels so cold. Anyway, Kelly,
which movie were you? Were you watching in the theater?

Speaker 17 (41:20):
Oh?

Speaker 22 (41:21):
I don't remember what movie it was. It was a
few months ago. But we sat down and the light
start to go down, and the group of three people
walked in kind of late, and she all of a
sudden pulls out her laptop, logs on and screen bright
as blue, and me and my boyfriend looked at each

(41:42):
other were like, what is she doing? Like checked that
little closer. He zoomed in on his phone, and I
think she was like working. We're like, is she really
working right now and trying to watch a movie?

Speaker 1 (41:53):
She's like in a zoom room in a meeting.

Speaker 16 (42:00):
Yeah.

Speaker 22 (42:00):
He went to go tell the the ANC employee and
then she got kicked out.

Speaker 1 (42:05):
Wow. Wow, good. Don't whip out your laptop while you're
watching a film.

Speaker 3 (42:11):
Even if you're reviewing the film. You don't need to
do it that.

Speaker 1 (42:13):
Way, exactly, Kelly. This is this is the world we
live in, Kelly, where people do not take into account
what other people need, and it's just selfish, selfish people.
We live within this world. People pisses me off anyway,
so see. Thank god it was a non memorable movie.
You don't even know what you went to see?

Speaker 22 (42:33):
No, I don't. I don't think it was that good.

Speaker 1 (42:36):
There you go, all right, Kelly, you have a great weekend.
Thanks for listening to us.

Speaker 9 (42:39):

Speaker 3 (44:46):
Nice?

Speaker 1 (44:47):

Speaker 5 (45:50):
No, no, no, no, we have to do this. You
know how much thanksgiving means to me.

Speaker 9 (45:54):
It's not thanksgivings. This is you being used again. You're
gonna cook all the food? What it on drugs? I
think they're high. I think that's what it is. If
they're on drugs.

Speaker 5 (46:04):
I have a list of things that they need you
to get.

Speaker 9 (46:06):
No, I'm not doing it. It's stupid. I'm not buying it.

Speaker 9 (46:14):
Well, we can't do it. Okay, we have to you're sick.
You're too sick to do it. Do you get it?
Call them back. Tell me I'm feeling too good. You

Speaker 5 (46:24):
But I'm feeling okay.

Speaker 9 (46:26):
No, tell them you're not Tell them you're not feeling okay.
Don't you get it all back and tell them.

Speaker 17 (46:32):

Speaker 9 (46:34):
Okay, grab a pen and a paper, please, you think
I'm buying food for twenty people. You're out of your mind.
I'm not doing it. She's not turning into me buying
everything now.

Speaker 5 (46:46):
Just we were gonna do it anyway, No, we weren't.

Speaker 9 (46:49):
We were not. We were gonna go there and eat
their food. Now we got to cook for twenty people. Well,
you are you ridiculous? You don't you go your four
f for this?

Speaker 5 (46:59):
She was crying. It's offer.

Speaker 17 (47:00):
I don't care. She's crying. I don't care.

Speaker 9 (47:04):
She broke her own stove. Do I look completely stupid
to you? Do you do? I?

Speaker 5 (47:10):
Well, now she's gonna have to buy a new stove.

Speaker 9 (47:13):
Go buy a new stove. That's a that's a very
good plan. Well you know what, Yeah, all of a
sudden they're inviting you over. Then all of a sudden,
Oh no, by the way, you're cooking everything too? Are
they kidding me?

Speaker 5 (47:23):
Or what? Can you just grab a pen and like,
I don't know what.

Speaker 9 (47:26):

picking up all the bring it here?

Speaker 5 (47:31):
She call all the people, who's old people?

Speaker 9 (47:33):

Speaker 5 (47:38):
Get the list and go please, Now, I'm not doing it.
Why are you ruining Thanksgiving?

Speaker 17 (47:44):
I am not doing it? Get it through your hand
and call them up and tell her please?

Speaker 5 (47:49):
Can you just at least go before you go to work?

Speaker 17 (47:50):
Then I'm not going nowhere?

Speaker 9 (47:53):
Where go?

Speaker 17 (47:53):
Where?

Speaker 5 (47:55):
By?

Speaker 17 (47:55):
Five hundred dollars worth of groceries? Where where do you
want me to go?

Speaker 5 (47:59):
Honestly? What the big deal is?

Speaker 9 (48:00):
You got to learn how to say no. It's very easy.
And oh, learn how to say no to your family
like they do to you. Okay, look, I'm at work.

Speaker 5 (48:08):
Everybody's looking at me like I'm nut, So.

What day does this feel like to you?

Speaker 3 (51:05):
You feel like a Friday?

Speaker 1 (51:13):
In the Morning Show, Yes, Danielle has an extra bounce
in her step today. She saw Wicked last night. We're
gonna talk about that. Is well, we've been a place
of music from Wicked as well. So hang on. So
people are wondering what you thought of it. We're gonna
get to that in a moment. Let's see what else. Oh,
did you guys see the footage from a news helicopter

(51:36):
here in New York City showing a shot of the
Hudson River on Monday And they caught this weird orb
flying by at a rapid speed. It was a blue
orb It was a blue orb. It was a blue orbit.
It was a blue orbit. It was a blue orb.
Is it like beetlejuice? You say it three times? And
what happened? Yeah? They think they caught a UFO on video.

(51:59):
And near the end of this segment you can see
they're doing, you know, here's the Hudson River blah blah blah.
And during the end of the segment you can see
this thing zip by. They say it could be a reflection,
a mylar balloon whatever. It went really fast. Wow, have
you guys? Have you seen it?

Speaker 4 (52:16):
Now?

Speaker 16 (52:17):
Did you see it?

Speaker 1 (52:18):
I did? Yeah? I saw that. Yeah, I saw it
on the New York Post.

Speaker 20 (52:20):
I believe I saw.

Speaker 1 (52:21):
Yeah, and uh, we're like, okay, here we are. Usually
we only hear of these things happening out in the desert,
yeah right, but no, this happened here.

Speaker 3 (52:33):
So is this familiar to you from when you were
you know.

Speaker 1 (52:37):
Pro No?

Speaker 10 (52:38):
No, not when I was abducted. U. No, this does
not look I'm looking at the picture of it now,
this does not look.

Speaker 1 (52:44):
Familiar at all. No, it was mine. Mine was much
larger when I was probed. All right, let's keep an
eye on that because I don't know what's going on. Also,
I just got the weirdest text from Amanda. Can I
get Amanda on She's on line nineteen. I want to
get to the bottom of this. Hello, Amanda, how are
you feeling on this Festive Friday? Good morning, Elvis.

Speaker 4 (53:07):
Have to go.

Speaker 1 (53:08):
It's going well. So may I read the text that
you sent because we're trying to we found the commercial
you're talking about. We're trying to figure out what the
problem is here. May I? May I read the text
out loud? Is that cool?

Speaker 17 (53:22):
Please do?

Speaker 1 (53:23):
Elvis. Let me preface this by saying, this is only
because I enjoy listening to you daily and by the way,
and aside, thank you, Amanda. This is an out of
love crap sandwich. I think you're hilarious. But there's a
Dura cell battery commercial running, and every time you say
the words I forgot batteries, it makes my teeth hurt,

(53:46):
like I'm biting down on aluminum foil.

Speaker 13 (53:49):
Oh.

Speaker 1 (53:50):
Luckily we have the skip thirty seconds button, so I
can skip back to listening to the good stuff. Okay,
I just will let you know this may be a
little out there. Just wanted to get it off my chat.
It may be a me problem, all right. Can you
tell us exactly what it is about I forgot batteries
that that makes your teeth hurt when I say it?

Speaker 17 (54:10):
Absolutely?

Speaker 1 (54:10):
Okay, So I'm gonna say.

Speaker 8 (54:13):
You know, when Nate does the horoscopes and he does
it in that that weird tone, and you're just like, oh, yes, well,
that's that's kind of the way that you say I
forgot batteries, and it's just, oh my goodness.

Speaker 9 (54:27):
I don't know if they told you to say that.

Speaker 1 (54:28):
Or it's not. So it's not the words I forgot batteries,
it's how I say them. Correct. It just makes you
want to just like lash out. I don't know, it hurts,
it hurts your teeth.

Speaker 6 (54:43):
I wonder if your ears are more sensitive than others
to certain pitches or something.

Speaker 5 (54:47):
I don't know.

Speaker 1 (54:47):
I don't know. Well let's tell you. Let's play it.
We found it, and it's in the beginning of this commercial.
By the way, we loved Ursel. There is no other
battery in my house right just for the for the record,
but you know, maybe I did them a disservice. Let's listen,
and we're listening for the words I forgot batteries. Here
we go. It's elvious, got to talk about dura cell batteries.

(55:10):
You know, the holidays are here and with this time
of year comes the three scariest words you can hear.
It's I forgot batteries. Come on, make sure you don't okay, Okay,
So I don't know. It just didn't bother me. Now,
well hold on, we're not talking to here. We're talking
to Amanda. We want to make sure she's happy. She
loves our show, you know, for once, we're trying to

(55:32):
be customer service forward, all right, So it's the so
you're saying, it's my inflection with I forgot batteries. You
don't like it, yes, sir, yes, sir?

Speaker 18 (55:44):
All respect.

Speaker 13 (55:48):
You see.

Speaker 1 (55:48):
You know, if you want to talk to someone about
something that's bothering you, you say it like Amanda saying it.
Okay uh, and I appreciate that. So let me fake
we do we isolate the I forgot batteries? Or do
we have to play the whole thing? But here we go. Okay,
let me hear how I say it? Now if you
if you want to put the phone down, Amanda, I
don't you know, to throw up or anything. But here

(56:10):
we go. I just got to talk about Dura cell batteries.
You know, the holidays are here, and with this time
of year comes the three scariest words you can hear.
It's I forgot batteries. Okay, So okay, I think I
say it like this, I forgot batteries. That's how I
say it, all right, So how how do you want

(56:30):
me to say it? That would be more pleasing to
your ear hole?

Speaker 16 (56:35):
Then?

Speaker 1 (56:35):
I think this is a me problem, and I have
that skip thirty button.

Speaker 7 (56:39):
You can say it however you'd like.

Speaker 1 (56:41):
I was just getting it off my chest. But wait, Amanda, Amanda,
someone just sent a text saying, Now, I can't stand
the way he says it. You're causing You're causing a storm.
He says, you're causing a storm of hate. That one.

(57:01):
I think this is hilarious, Amanda. Let's make that very clear.
They're saying it sounds forced.

Speaker 22 (57:08):
Yeah, exactly.

Speaker 1 (57:10):
Huh really Okay, well, okay, here's the thing. If it's
if it's Christmas morning and we open up, you know,
a gift that needs batteries, I'm like, oh, I forgot
the batteries? Is it better like that? I have to
think about that.

Speaker 5 (57:27):
No?

Speaker 1 (57:28):
No, you know what you know I always learned a
long time ago you should never complain about something unless
you haven't a fix, because that's what they tell us
here at iHeart. I never bitched moment about something unless
you have an answer to fix it. So I'm trying
to Yeah, what's that name? I think Amanda?

Speaker 10 (57:44):
Amanda, I think you should say how you want it
to be said.

Speaker 1 (57:48):
Let's they can turn about is fair play, Amanda. Let's
say let's say here we go, you're opening a gift
and you realize you forgot the batteries. Okay, what do
you say? And how do you say it? But you
got to say it and you know out loud to it.
Here we go, dang it the batteries. That actually is

(58:10):
very good. I do like that much. So Scottie, can
I redo that commercial and insert dang it the batteries?
Of course?

Speaker 22 (58:20):
No?

Speaker 1 (58:20):
I mean, can you edit it like real quick? Do
you have it pulled it? Do you have the commercial pulled? Uh? Yeah,
I have it here, I have it the raw cut here,
you have the original raw cut? All right? All right,
I'm so let me know when I can record. How
fast can you insert dang it the batteries. Let's see. Okay,
you can hear it live. We're gonna do it live
on the air. Here we go.

Speaker 21 (58:39):
I don't know if I'm gonna be able to do
it because my mic is on, but I'm going to.

Speaker 1 (58:42):
Okay, turn your mic off in here we go and
point at me when you're ready for it. Dang it,
dang it the batteries. Is that how you wanted, Amanda?
How do you want it? Perfect? Okay? Here we go,
dang it the batteries. Okay, he's now inserting that into
the commercial. He's taking out the line I read I

(59:02):
forgot batteries and I'm gonna see if this works. It's
a live experiment. Experiment. That's by the way, dura Cel
didn't pay for this. You don't work for dura Cel. Okay,
they say, Okay, people are getting like, really really picky.

(59:23):
I think it's the way the tea is pronounced. It
hits the teeth funny and causes a reaction when I
hear it, Amanda. Amanda had no idea this is how
her day was going to start, all right.

Speaker 21 (59:35):
So I can play it, but I don't. I don't
know if everyone will hear it.

Speaker 1 (59:38):
Okay, you can if it's going through your board it
let's see. You tell me. Here we go. Okay, it's Elvis.
Got to talk about Durasale batteries. You know, the holidays
are here, and with this time of year comes the
three scariest words. And I don't hear it here on
the batteries.

Speaker 3 (59:52):
Yeah, we hear it.

Speaker 21 (59:52):
It must be only locally here one hundred. I can't
play it the whole thing.

Speaker 1 (59:56):
Well, can you move it over to the cart deck
or something? And it'll take me sixty seconds? But sure, okay,
do that? Do that? All right, We're gonna, Amanda, We're
gonna get to the bottom of this and we'll see
if the new one is acceptable, because a client has
to say, okay, dang it, the batteries works just fine.
Sound good, Amanda? Are you still a member of military personnel? Yes, sir, Well,

(01:00:23):
we thank you for serving our country very much, and
you know you're you're you're serving your country in a
different way right now by having this change a Dura
cell commercial.

Speaker 4 (01:00:35):
Absolutely, I couldn't ask for anything better.

Speaker 7 (01:00:37):
Thank you.

Speaker 1 (01:00:38):
All right, do we have something for Amanda. Let's let's
give something special to Amanda.

Speaker 10 (01:00:42):
This is a true crap sandwhich this is the middle
that is going to be so good for you. We're
going to give you a two hundred and fifty dollars
Macy's gift card.

Speaker 4 (01:00:50):
That's awesome.

Speaker 1 (01:00:51):
You can get something that requires dang bad batteries. Okay,
now we're running into a new problem. The copy says
three words. There's three words I don't want to you
don't want to hear, and then I say I forgot batteries.
That's three words. But is dang it one word? Dang
it is one word. I see oka spelled as one word. Okay,

(01:01:11):
so dang it the batteries. So that's three words. So
we still it still makes sense, right, okay? Yes, So yeah,
you're getting Amanda. So Amanda gets a two hundred and
fifty dollars Macy's gift card.

Speaker 10 (01:01:24):
Yeah, yeah, because Harold Square has so much going on.
The the Iconic Harold Square Store got a lot I
can't will give me to.

Speaker 3 (01:01:32):
Give me this. You need glasses, you need glasses, Oh

a lot of things to buy and a lot of gifts.
So it's really nice.

Speaker 1 (01:02:03):
All right, Very good, Amanda. Congratulations. See, if you want
to complain, you complain in the proper way, deconstructive way,
and sometimes you walk away with two hundred and fifty dollars,
you know, two hundred and fifty dollars to spend at Macy's. Hey,
how do you like that? Amanda? Thank you. Hold on
a second. We're gonna get your info and send it
to you and you have a great weekend. Okay, you too,

(01:02:25):
hold on, hold on all right, we may have to
like redo this entire commercial, though, do we do? We
have it? Is it ready to play? I got it here? Okay,
all right, we're gonna okay, let's just see how it sounds. Yeah, okay, here,
here we go. Here it is. It's elvious. Got to
talk about Dura cell batteries. You know, the holidays are here,
and with this time of year comes the three scariest
words you can hear, dang it the batteries. Come on.

(01:02:47):
Make sure you don't get caught out. I know, but
I know, but people are still complaining about dang it
being one word or two. This is a problem. It
is one. I've seen it as one.

Speaker 20 (01:02:58):
Look up where it says that it can be hyphenated.
So if it's hyphenated, that's technically one word.

Speaker 1 (01:03:04):
Yeah, is it? Yes, that's one word hyphen I mean.

Speaker 3 (01:03:08):
It's spelled like two words everywhere I'm looking, Nate.

Speaker 1 (01:03:10):
But okay, but what what what? What? Hold on?

Speaker 6 (01:03:14):
Now?

Speaker 1 (01:03:14):
What if we change the line leading into dang it
the batteries.

Speaker 20 (01:03:18):
You don't want to hear these words that you don't
have to put a number?

Speaker 1 (01:03:21):
Yeah, okay, let me hear that goes? How that goes,
and we'll figure out what to write here. Play it again. Here,
it's Elvis got to talk about dura cell batteries. You know,
the holidays are here, and with this time of year
comes the three scariest words you can hear. And with
this what is it? With this and with this time
of year, what do I say? Comes you can hear? Okay,
here we are you rolling? Hold on, Scotty's all right,

(01:03:44):
here we go. I'm sorry we have to take up
your time and you're driving to work. You've got things
to do everything. And with this and with this time
of year, comes the words you don't want to hear,
right is that it? Yeah? Be ready and with and
with this time and in this time of year?

Speaker 3 (01:03:59):
What just saying this time of year and.

Speaker 1 (01:04:02):
In this time of year those words you don't want
to hear. Perfect, No, do it again, I don't like
that one.

Speaker 3 (01:04:08):
Wait, you want to do it again?

Speaker 1 (01:04:10):
It again? And this time of the year there are
words you don't the words you don't want to hear,
and this time of year, there are words you don't
want to hear. There, put telling in. All right, we're
going to put that in. You want to play a
song and give Scotty a second to get this ready?
We could. Okay, let's talk about Wicked while he's doing that. Okay.
Danielle went to see Wicked last night. If you haven't

(01:04:31):
heard her reviews earlier, you need to hear them now. Go.

Speaker 3 (01:04:34):
It is amazing. It's everything and more.

Speaker 6 (01:04:37):
If you're a fan of the Broadway show, it sticks
to it. It's very traditional, and it just it's a
very special movie. Everybody has been cast perfectly in it.
Arianna is amazing, Cynthia is amazing. I mean, honestly, I
cried so many times, happy tears, sad tears, emotional. It's

(01:04:57):
a beautiful story and it's a beautiful movie. It's visually beautiful.
It's just everything about it is perfect. I would not
change one thing about it. I cannot wait to go
see it again.

Speaker 1 (01:05:08):
Wow, yeah, me to see this? Did they pay you
to say that? That's question.

Speaker 3 (01:05:12):
I have spent more money on Wicked stuff.

Speaker 6 (01:05:15):
I spent seventy dollars at the movie theater last night
because I wanted the cup in the bucket.

Speaker 1 (01:05:20):
There you go. Yeah, so who's making the money now, Yeah,
that's awesome. So Wicked, all thumbs up. I'm gonna play
you some songs from Wicked in a second because you've
you've been a good.

Speaker 3 (01:05:28):
Girl to Oh the soundtrack is out today as well,
by the way.

Speaker 1 (01:05:32):
All right, so I think we have the Dursel redo. Okay,
let's see how this one sounds. All right, we could
be closer than ever. Here we go. What's wrong now, Nate?
It's not playing I got it.

Speaker 3 (01:05:46):
Okay, he's doing Scary's job and his job. Hold on,
what's wrong with it?

Speaker 1 (01:05:54):
He has to change the dates on when it runs
and that comes Okay, hold on, Okay, we're so close.
We're so close.

Speaker 3 (01:06:01):
He's in the computer doing something.

Speaker 1 (01:06:03):
Someone said, rather than day it, just say dang.

Speaker 3 (01:06:06):
Yeah, no, she said.

Speaker 1 (01:06:08):
She specifically said she wanted to hear dang it. What's wrong?

Speaker 7 (01:06:11):
Nate?

Speaker 1 (01:06:12):
Maybe if I put it in here? Okay, I heard
that last night. Maybe this is it? Okay, maybe let
me try this here. Okay, Nate, what do you do?
Dang it? You said dang it again? It's not Okay,
well you know I took it. Let's play Yeah, let's
play music from Wicked. Yeah you want me to play that? Yeah?

(01:06:36):
We have Popular and Define Gravity the populars with Ariana Grande.
Define Gravity is with Cynthia Rivo and Ariana Grande. It's
your Wicked toofer on Friday.

Speaker 3 (01:06:48):
You're gonna be a popular.

Speaker 1 (01:06:51):
There you go from Wicked, Popular, Ariana Grande and now
hit the hit the button, hit the button, Nate, you
can play it, Define Gravity, you can play it. Here
you go, what to day, Cynthia Arriva and Ariana Grande.
Listen to this. Oh my god, oh good, so amazing.

(01:07:19):
That is so incredible. I cannot imagine what it was
like for you to see that with a big screen
in front of you and them singing. It must have
been unbelievable.

Speaker 6 (01:07:28):
Just the most insane thing. It's what they did and
how they did it. It's just incredible. It really is incredible.

Speaker 1 (01:07:35):
Wow, that just that wore me out. I'm just heio geez,
both of them. They did such a great job together. Anyway,
So yeah, she liked Wicked. Okay, that's done. Just a
little Okay, we have people sitting in their cars waiting
to go into work to hear the newly constructed Dura
cell commercial. Amanda complained, and since she hated the way

(01:08:00):
I said, I forgot batteries, because you know, when you
open the gifts for the holidays, you gotta have batteries. Yeah,
so she suggested I say dang it the batteries. But
originally it said we need three words in the three
words where I forgot batteries. We really think dang it
is two words. Therefore it's four words, so we had

(01:08:21):
to change two lines. Here is the newly constructed Doura
cell commercial. Here we go. It's Elvis got to talk
about Dura cell batteries. You know, the holidays are here,
and this time of year there are words you don't
want to hear. Dang it the batteries. Come on, make
sure you don't get caught off guard on Christmas. There
you go, all right. Now people are complaining, People are

(01:08:41):
complaining about other things. You know what, Get over it.

Speaker 3 (01:08:43):
We can't keep change everything, and we're out.

Speaker 1 (01:08:45):
Of Macy's gift cards. Go away. Let's get sound in
here with Garrett. Garrett, we got a few minutes. Let's go.

By the way, we're on right now, you and your
pants sit down.

Speaker 16 (01:12:46):
Hey, look at this, Look at this.

Speaker 8 (01:12:47):
A big brand guy, but I'm going to be on
the Brox floats.

Speaker 1 (01:12:52):
Sit out this parade. Let's talking about that. So you
just missed it. Joey mcintart just walked in and gave
me a package of brocks Katy case because he's on
the Bronx float.

Speaker 16 (01:13:03):
Come on, Merry Christmas.

Speaker 1 (01:13:05):
You can leave it now. This is all I wanted.

Speaker 3 (01:13:09):
He's like Joey the Elf.

Speaker 1 (01:13:11):
Wow, so much to talk about. Let's start with the
Macy's Thanksgiving the parade. You're on the Bronx float.

Speaker 8 (01:13:15):
Yes, i am, and I've done it before, but I'm
excited and get to sing a song I wrote for
my Christmas movie. And yeah, I'm in New York now,
I'm doing eight shows a week, so I'm in New
Yorker again.

Speaker 1 (01:13:27):
We have so much to talk about it we do. Okay, okay,
check off the Brox float.

Speaker 6 (01:13:31):
Wait, I'll be at the parade. I'm going to be
in the grandstand with Kinder, so I'll be like.

Speaker 16 (01:13:35):
What Joey done? Yeah, just make a sign.

Speaker 3 (01:13:38):
Okay, okay, okay.

Speaker 1 (01:13:40):
So he also mentioned he's in town and he's doing
Drag of course. Yeah, uh Dragged the musical. Yes, So
let's move there. This seems to be the natural progression
of things. Thank you, so I love I haven't seen
it yet. I want to see it.

Speaker 16 (01:13:52):
You have to see. I'm in it til December ninth.

Speaker 8 (01:13:54):
But the Broadway legend Adam Pascal, famous for Rent and
many other things, he's coming in replacing me. So we're
in good hands. But a lot of people think it's
a it's a like a drag brunch or something. This
is like a full on legit musical. The queens are
hysterical and funny and so talented, and.

Speaker 16 (01:14:14):
There's there's a heart of this show.

Speaker 1 (01:14:17):
You know.

Speaker 8 (01:14:18):
I played the only straight man, and I have a
son who's trying to figure out who he is, you know,
without naming it, he's just Brendan, Like there's this beautiful
song called Brendan. And and I don't get along with
my brother who runs one of the drag But here's
your drag queen. Yes, yes, played by Nick Adams. So
we we have a lot of history. People all of
a sudden they go, this is real drama. This isn't

(01:14:38):
like fake you know.

Speaker 1 (01:14:39):
I Getams used to do the night show here, not
that guy. I actually went to high school with Nick Adam.
Nick in eriel On hold On in Erie, Pennsylvania. Oh,
I share the stage, but.

Speaker 16 (01:14:51):
Not the guy who did nights here. No, no, no, yes,
we share the stage.

Speaker 1 (01:14:56):
I was on stage with Nick in the Sound of
Music and you're.

Speaker 8 (01:15:01):
Exactly where like it's it's two degrees of separation.

Speaker 1 (01:15:05):
So we're trying to if you were a drag queen,
what would your name be? Oh?

Speaker 8 (01:15:11):
No, There was a quote one of the reviews said,
Joey McIntyre gives us the happy Wiggles in our seat,
and I said that would be my name.

Speaker 1 (01:15:20):
Happy Please, Welcome to the stage. Happy. Yeah. So do
you play the brother of a drag queen. There's some
competing drag clubs in town, and there's you know, obviously
I'm gonna guess this is the thing through because you
also play an accountant. Yes, so I'm just trying to
save it. Yeah, you're trying to save your drag brothers. Yeah, yeah,
drag it could have happened, yes, yes.

Speaker 8 (01:15:39):
And the other house is run by Alaska Thunder and
she's amazing.

Speaker 16 (01:15:45):
She's one of the writers of the show. And it's
really really funny.

Speaker 8 (01:15:48):
It's NonStop, no into mission, but a lot of heart
and it surprises you because it's it kind of tugs
at your heart strengths.

Speaker 1 (01:15:55):
So I have heard it is a lot of fun.

Speaker 16 (01:15:57):
It is.

Speaker 6 (01:15:58):
Everybody keeps saying you have to see it, You have
to see Yeah, you have to see it.

Speaker 1 (01:16:01):
Yeah, sure, okay, now let's talk about this movie now.
Danielle is the biggest sucker for these crazy lame Christmas movies.
But you say this here yours. Hold on, you're saying
that yours is not one of the lame ones?

Speaker 16 (01:16:14):
Are you shaming Christmas movie?

Speaker 3 (01:16:17):
The wrong com Christmas movie is the best?

Speaker 16 (01:16:20):
Yeah, no, this is a good one.

Speaker 8 (01:16:21):
It really is. It's called Jingle Bell Love. Are we
ready to talk about that?

Speaker 1 (01:16:24):
Let's your you your wife passed away and you go
back to her town and then hey, then your kid
tries to hook you up with another woman in town.

Speaker 16 (01:16:37):
You sorry already?

Speaker 8 (01:16:37):
That's five times five times you've been up all night
rewatching this movie.

Speaker 3 (01:16:44):
Frosty yet, what is it? Hot frost Frosty? Yeah you
didn't see that one.

Speaker 8 (01:16:48):
Oh that's Mine's a family show and the hot Frosty
sounds like, uh no, it's really good, guys, I promise,
And uh we wrote a song for it and it's
it's it's love. And the girl who plays my daughter,
Delia Chambers, is amazing and it's really really sweet. A
friend of mine, Stephanie Black from la was one of
the writers. And here we are.

Speaker 1 (01:17:09):
So these films have taken out, taken up a lot
of space in the list of genres of films. These
beautiful Christmas romantic shows are everything. So now you're in one. Yes,
now it's on the Roku channel, right, yeah, okay.

Speaker 8 (01:17:22):
Perfect, you know somewhere I like to think the world
just isn't right without you know, I don't I don't
like to refer to myself and the third person, but
you know, the world needs a Joey McIntyre holiday Christan.

Speaker 16 (01:17:38):
Complete. Now we can move.

Speaker 1 (01:17:39):
This world is so effed up as is. We need
more of that. We do right.

Speaker 6 (01:17:42):
We don't have to think when you watch those movies either,
You just smile, You have a good time.

Speaker 3 (01:17:47):
It puts you in the holiday spirit. It's just like
a feel.

Speaker 1 (01:17:49):
Good yeah, and it's moving your career to a whole
different place. So I'll tell you, and I'm being told to serious.
All the actors who play in these things, they don't
understand the importance of these movies to huge amount of people.
I mean, I mean even Norwegian has the the Hallmark
Christmas movie Cruise. Yeah, and you can't they sell out.

(01:18:10):
I mean so after the season is done, good God,
they're gonna rip your clothes off here you walk down.

Speaker 8 (01:18:14):
This Christmas con liked can do all the Christmas cons
and Santa cons?

Speaker 16 (01:18:18):
You ready?

Speaker 1 (01:18:19):
You know what? It's not cheesy at all. I think
it's so cool, don't. Don't you remember waking up on
Thanksgiving morning and seeing the Thanksgiving Day parade every year.
Now you're in it. I see you know what these
I get my way going.

Speaker 8 (01:18:33):
You might smile practice your way, but you'll be singing
your song super Grateful. Yes, and I'm singing my song
of brand new Christmas right right in front of you.

Speaker 16 (01:18:39):
I know.

Speaker 3 (01:18:40):
I can't wait. I'm so excited.

Speaker 16 (01:18:41):
Okay, tell me what you're wearing so I can find you.

Speaker 3 (01:18:43):
A big puppy coat.

Speaker 1 (01:18:45):
She'll be that one. So last time you were here
with with the band, yes, uh, you actually broke out
into some tears. I know.

Speaker 16 (01:18:51):
I'm such a worst.

Speaker 1 (01:18:54):
You're the only one with feelings in that band.

Speaker 16 (01:18:56):
Yeah, I wouldn't say that. I wouldn't say that. But yeah,
I mean, you know, we've been together.

Speaker 8 (01:19:00):
For forty freaking years, you know, so there's a lot
of history and a lot of you know, we're so blessed,
we're so grateful. We got the most amazing fans, and
you know, to behind the scenes and keep it all
together is you know, it's a lot. You know, you
go through a lot, but we've managed to not mess
it up and put our friendship first. So when we're
together and I'm staring into your eyes, I start to

(01:19:23):
cry about it.

Speaker 1 (01:19:24):
Well, a lot of people do cry when they see me.

Speaker 16 (01:19:25):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (01:19:26):
But you know, Joey, you're at this part of your
life where you have enough in your history to reflect on,
you know, family, friends, all the wacky moments with new
kids on the block, and now you're about to embark
on another chapter with them in Las Vegas. We'll get
to that in a minute. Yes, but you know what,
you get to a point in your life. I'm older
than you. I can I can say you start looking

(01:19:48):
backward even though you should be looking forward. Yeah, you
need to look backward. You can learn about yourself. That's
why you should write a book. Oh nice, I'm serious.

Speaker 8 (01:19:55):
You learned so much about yourself, a perfect segue to say,
or write an album, which actually I did so I don't,
I don't, and I have a solo album coming out
in January, I swear to God no. But seriously, seriously,
writing writing a book is super hard.

Speaker 1 (01:20:12):
I've done you, Yeah, but you learn a lot about
yourself when you're writer. It's weird and things you never
would learn about if you hadn't written them.

Speaker 8 (01:20:18):
Yeah, I feel like, honestly, I have done a lot
of work internally throughout the years, and and I feel like,
yeah again, Frankly, I'm not a great writer sitting down
a typewriter, but I do enjoy writing songs, so I
was able to put a lot of that into these.
I swear I'm not trying to plug the album. I'm

(01:20:39):
just I'm just replying to your question.

Speaker 1 (01:20:42):
We got to I think you must to talk about
the album.

Speaker 6 (01:20:43):
I think, but if each of you wrote a chapter
in the book, or two chapters about your well, it
could be a joint effort.

Speaker 8 (01:20:51):
I won't say who, but one chapter would be like
crayons and a coloring book, and then you go to
the other one and it would be brilliant, and then
the other one would be up. You know, I don't
know if that will work. Now I'm kidding, that wouldn't work.
I go back to the fact, it really.

Speaker 16 (01:21:04):
Is hard to write a book, right, I mean it.

Speaker 1 (01:21:06):
Really is hard.

Speaker 8 (01:21:07):
You think in your mind you're going to do it,
and then you sit down and you're like, whoa, this
is tough.

Speaker 1 (01:21:10):
Let's take a break. When we come back, I'm gonna
tell you how I wrote mine. Please. It was a
New York Times bestseller.

Speaker 16 (01:21:15):
Congratulations.

Speaker 1 (01:21:16):
It's still able at a very very fair price. It's
right there at Costco. Also, it's a good get. Actually,
it is a good Yeah, to think about it. You
can get a roast chicken. I set a tires in
my book.

Speaker 3 (01:21:32):
People.

Speaker 8 (01:21:33):
You can see the selfie now someone reading it with
a chicken.

Speaker 16 (01:21:37):
Sad it happens.

Speaker 1 (01:21:38):
They're just a drumstick. All right, I'm gonna play some
music from you, and I want to talk about what
you know I like to and I'm going to talk
about what you guys are doing in Vegas. We got
lost to cover with Joey McIntyre. We're back after this.

Speaker 21 (01:21:50):
Hey, I'm Scotty B and I'm Andrew and we have
a podcast called Serial Killers.

Speaker 1 (01:21:53):
Have you ever been in the Cereal Island?

Speaker 21 (01:21:55):
Said to yourself, there's so many serials it could be overwhelming.
So on serial Killers, we'll try before you buy them.

Speaker 1 (01:22:01):
Listen is to new episodes of Serial Killers.

Speaker 21 (01:22:03):
Every Monday on iHeartRadio or wherever you get your podcasts.
Serial Killers with a C Crush.

Speaker 15 (01:22:09):
Elvis Duran in the Morning Show Live from the Mercedes
Benz Interview Lounge.

Speaker 1 (01:22:16):
All right, all right, we're back, We're back. I'm sorry,
I'm sorry we had to leave you for a second.
But Joey McIntyre's here. Jingle Bell loved the new film
from Joey McIntyre, of course on the Roker Channel. And
that's also the same channel that features Charlie poof Yes
Yes Show. Yeah, Yeah, there's a lot going on over there.

Speaker 16 (01:22:30):
They're doing a lot of new original content.

Speaker 1 (01:22:32):
Yet and see bringing you and Charlie pooth in that's
been going for it the big Guns. This is almost
as big as the Final Netflix the other night watch.

Speaker 8 (01:22:40):
By the way, well, what yes, I did, but what
I what I think is hysterical is people's conspiracy. I
saw one you know, TikTok th he was like contractually
he couldn't throw any uppera cuts.

Speaker 1 (01:22:52):
I heard that too.

Speaker 16 (01:22:52):
I mean, can we all just stop? It's very simple.

Speaker 8 (01:22:57):
The guys fifty eight years old, period, full star off
the end.

Speaker 16 (01:23:00):
He can't fight anymore.

Speaker 1 (01:23:02):
I agree.

Speaker 6 (01:23:03):
I think they sat down and I think they said,
you're getting twenty million, I'm getting forty million.

Speaker 3 (01:23:07):
Here's how it's going back.

Speaker 16 (01:23:09):
Kill each other.

Speaker 8 (01:23:11):
Okay, I can't say that's not a viable argument. I
just don't believe it. I think I think they were
both in there trying not to but.

Speaker 16 (01:23:19):
I can't move anymore.

Speaker 8 (01:23:21):
He can work out and he can pull weights and nice,
but do the rocky you know, pre fight thing, but
once you get in the ring, right, it.

Speaker 16 (01:23:28):
Was I don't know.

Speaker 1 (01:23:29):
I Joey back and tire. Time for conspiracy theory time ready,
I'm putting out the moon landing? Did it happen?

Speaker 8 (01:23:35):
Well, I'm usually say no to all that stuff, but
apparently apparently they did go to the moon, but the
filming thing was fake, right, so the region the guy
on his deathbed said it was all fake and I
did it or something like that, reputable guy.

Speaker 1 (01:23:54):
I just love bringing this up because you get to
see how wacky people could be.

Speaker 16 (01:23:58):
Listen.

Speaker 1 (01:23:58):
Look, if it did or did not happen, I don't know.
I'd just like to have the conversation.

Speaker 8 (01:24:01):
The cover of the Post yesterday was Donald Trump, Elon
Musk and Robert Kennedy on a jet eating McDonald's.

Speaker 1 (01:24:10):
I mean, that really happened.

Speaker 16 (01:24:12):
So how could you not believe in anything that happened?
That really freaking happened.

Speaker 1 (01:24:17):
Nothing surprises, as we say it. If a cow flew
into my backyard and landed with wings, it wouldn't surprise
out anyway. Okay, So jingle Bell Love of course, the
new film from Joey McIntire's out the album. Okay, you
keep talking about this mystery album. It's a twenty twenty
five release.

Speaker 8 (01:24:33):
It's not a mystery anymore because I released it. I started,
you know, sneaking it out there. Yeah, but it comes out.
It's called Freedom, So it comes out January twenty fourth,
but you can pre save it Monday, No from a
twenty fifth and the single comes out, which is called
is Anybody out There? But ten songs, thirty two minutes,
baym One sitting. It'll change your life. My life's changed

(01:24:56):
just talking about it now. Thanks to Bronx, Let's look
forward to Las Vegas. Yes, when someone tells me they
have a residency in Vegas, that's a big friggin deal. Yeah,
so you guys are going to be together. When how
do we see this.

Speaker 16 (01:25:12):
Kick it off?

Speaker 8 (01:25:13):
It's at the Adobe Theater where Usher and Bruno and
all those guys were, and we kick it off.

Speaker 16 (01:25:19):
Our first stint is in June next year.

Speaker 8 (01:25:22):
We do eight shows kind of around that time, and
then eight shows in the fall, and then eight more
shows in February of twenty twenty six. So, you know,
residencies they branded differently now, Like Elvis is rolling in
his grave because he had to do like nine shows
a week and we're doing eight over three. It's funny
what they call residencies now. But however, we're very excited
because we've been lucky enough to do so much, but

(01:25:45):
we still have Vegas on the table, and we're so
thrilled to have all those bells and whistles and not
be on a tour bus and just making a show.

Speaker 1 (01:25:53):
No, Joey, are we gonna catch you with the casino?
Are you a gambler?

Speaker 16 (01:25:56):
Thank god, No, I gave that up long ago.

Speaker 1 (01:25:59):
Oh so it was a problem.

Speaker 16 (01:26:00):
Yeah, it's like, you know, you know what my new
one is. It goes along with golf.

Speaker 8 (01:26:04):
Why would I want to spend four and a half
hours doing something that I'm not good at? And then
and then oh but you got to take the lessons
and why I'm never going to get good. So I
finally like gave that up right after I bought a
new set of clubs.

Speaker 1 (01:26:20):
So what's your next thing?

Speaker 16 (01:26:21):
Am I giving up next?

Speaker 1 (01:26:23):
What are you divorcing next?

Speaker 16 (01:26:25):
What am I divorcing next?

Speaker 8 (01:26:27):
Well, you know, the big the big skool I mean
for me, And it is a blow mind. But I've
been sober for about eight months, right, and it's like
it really is a blow mind.

Speaker 1 (01:26:36):
Why did you decide to become soldiers sober? What was?

Speaker 4 (01:26:39):
What was?

Speaker 16 (01:26:39):
Just give it a shot? I always wanted to give
it a shot.

Speaker 8 (01:26:42):
And then I finally, you know, grace of God was
able to do it, you know, with some help. And
I just didn't know my bandwidth like exploded. I didn't
know how much more available I could be for things.

Speaker 1 (01:26:54):
Because I'm thinking about it. It's talk me through, be
my sponsor.

Speaker 16 (01:26:59):
Day to time.

Speaker 8 (01:27:00):
Try it's it's and there's plenty of people that are
sober out there. Funny enough, I don't think he'd mind
saying it because people know he doesn't drink. But Bill
Bird doesn't drink, and he's like, he was like, put
your big boy pants on, buddy, you know what I mean,
give it a shot, you know, because you can have
that kind of tough love and you could also have

(01:27:20):
the warm, fuzzy love as well.

Speaker 16 (01:27:22):
But yeah, I wouldn't. I don't think i'd have it
any other way actually, so that that happened.

Speaker 1 (01:27:30):
But I like what you said a second ago, your
bandwidth expanding, Yeah, what does that mean to you?

Speaker 16 (01:27:36):
Well, you know, I'm just more available.

Speaker 8 (01:27:39):
I didn't know that I was sort of planning around
and I wasn't a big drinker.

Speaker 1 (01:27:45):
Okay, so you were you were blocking out every now.

Speaker 16 (01:27:47):
No, no, no, no, thank god.

Speaker 1 (01:27:49):
No.

Speaker 16 (01:27:49):
I was a lightweight. However, I was dealing with you
because you know, somewhere in.

Speaker 8 (01:27:54):
My future was a Manhattan on the rocks and I
was gonna be able to you know, there was a
little escapism over there. So I didn't know how much
I was planning around the future. It has so much
to do with the future. I think this culture and
what we eat and what we drink and you need.

Speaker 16 (01:28:11):
This and you need this. I mean, we've been talking
about it all the time, you know what I mean.

Speaker 8 (01:28:13):
Like, but seriously, all there is in America is sugar beer,
and I don't know what you know. And it's all good,
especially Brox Candy case ladies and gentlemen. We just listened
to each his own, to each his own right, and
that's what it really is. And I knew that I
really wanted to give it a shot. And for me,

(01:28:35):
it's been a lovely experience. And you know, you think
I'll never laugh again. You know, I'll never party again.
I'll never have a good time. I've been more laughs.
All it's all a lie you tell yourself. However, enjoy
that Martini. It looks great. Please enjoy it for me.

Speaker 1 (01:28:50):
There you go, see.

Speaker 7 (01:28:50):
I like that.

Speaker 1 (01:28:51):
Yeah, like you said, And this is a chapter in
the book.

Speaker 16 (01:28:54):
That you're gonna go straight for me.

Speaker 3 (01:28:56):
We just wrote a whole chapter for you.

Speaker 16 (01:28:59):
Let's do it.

Speaker 1 (01:28:59):
Okay, here's how I did it. It's a voice.

Speaker 7 (01:29:01):
Now.

Speaker 1 (01:29:01):
I had a guy interview me. Yeah, and he got
the stories out of me. He wrote it and I
rewrote it in my words, sure, and move things around.
It was easy. Do it?

Speaker 16 (01:29:11):
Do it, Joey, I know, I know you can have
help for that.

Speaker 1 (01:29:17):
There's no news. A lot of people do it that way.

Speaker 8 (01:29:19):
On the commute thirty two minutes, top down the album,
listen to the album, and you tell me if I still.

Speaker 16 (01:29:24):
Need to write a book. Yes, that's a good deal.

Speaker 1 (01:29:27):
I'm gonna tell you no, Yes, you do all right,
because because not only do you write it, we also
hear it. We we downloaded from audible, so and we
hear you tell you.

Speaker 16 (01:29:33):
That means you're gonna You're gonna write the forward for me?

Speaker 1 (01:29:36):
Then I will write whatever you want to right as
far as as long as Brox pays me to do it. No,
by the way, don't forget Thanksgiving Day parade. Brox is
all about the Bronx float. Joey McIntyre will be right
there singing a song.

Speaker 8 (01:29:47):
They are now making a statue of me of candy
canes at the Brox headquarters.

Speaker 16 (01:29:53):
He keeps talking about him build.

Speaker 1 (01:29:57):
Let me tell you they got you. They got their
Moneys Borth today they did.

Speaker 16 (01:29:59):
I'm sorry it wasn't my intention, but the.

Speaker 1 (01:30:01):
Name of the album coming out will be called Freedom. Freedom.

Speaker 8 (01:30:05):
Why you know I write about it. I think freedom
is a big term. You know, freedom can you know,
especially in this country and the world and stuff. But
freedom can be a very personal term.

Speaker 22 (01:30:17):
You know.

Speaker 8 (01:30:17):
It could be freedom to take the time and make
a garden in your backyard, or freedom to you know,
make a rocket to the moon, you know, and or
everywhere in between. I think it's a very personal term
for me, and I was able to address a lot
of the questions and desires and resentments and stuff. I
worked out and worked it out, and I feel a
lot of it came out on the album.

Speaker 16 (01:30:39):
This is the first single, if you okay.

Speaker 8 (01:30:42):
Damn girl, hanging tough, saying you're taking it step by step.

Speaker 1 (01:30:50):
No, no, no, I'm playing Okay. The moment that we
had with you last time you were here with new
kids on the block. Are you okay to hear this?

Speaker 16 (01:31:00):
Of course no, you guys did a lovely job.

Speaker 1 (01:31:02):
And yeah, we're actually talking about the decision you guys
made to get back together to go out on the
road with each other. Remember that. So this was the
moment of Joey being vulnerable and we love.

Speaker 16 (01:31:17):
This getting a little emotional.

Speaker 1 (01:31:19):
Actually good No, but the.

Speaker 5 (01:31:22):
You know.

Speaker 8 (01:31:25):
Saying yes, you know it's like saying damn sorry, it's
early saying yes to each other, you know what I'm saying,
Like Donnie says yes first and deals with whatever, and
I know Jordan said yes from the get go, like
when Donnie was working out and when you have Jordan
Knight showing up in laying down vocals like you know,
it's just like that energy and you get to trade

(01:31:46):
off with each other and people showing up and Danny
always being there and John like like you say, coming
off the farm and going yeah, let's let's do it.

Speaker 16 (01:31:55):
You know what I mean.

Speaker 8 (01:31:55):
And it's it can be. It's a real process. It's
even though you've known everybody, but there is no greater. Wow,
the complement then your your your boys you.

Speaker 1 (01:32:06):
Know shown up five said yeah sorry it was it
was no, no, no there.

Speaker 8 (01:32:12):
It was about the making of the most recent album
and you were so nice to play a couple of
the tracks that day, which is awesome. Uh, it was
really about making the album, getting back together. We hadn't
made a full length album in like ten something years,
and you know, people really showed up in a way

(01:32:34):
that we hadn't in a long time.

Speaker 1 (01:32:36):
So we're about to play a single from the album,
which one are we.

Speaker 8 (01:32:38):
Playing Joe get the Money out? Saying it is Anybody
that I was waiting for? And now no, no, I'm kidding,
We're about to play is Anybody out there? Yes, that's
the first single off my new album Freedom, and yeah
it's you know. The funny thing about this song is
that those are the original lyrics. But I was like,

(01:32:59):
do I really want to get this heavy and deep
and really ask those questions?

Speaker 16 (01:33:03):
And we tried doing like, you know, put.

Speaker 8 (01:33:05):
Your hands in the air and scream oh yeah and
blah blah blah, and I was like, that's not the song,
and we went back to the original lyrics and it
just it did both. I mean, I grew I remember,
and maybe it's still happening, but I remember growing up
and listening to songs on the radio. You could dance
to it and you'd love the song, and then two
months later you're going, whoa, that's about what you know
right now? That's what makes a good pop song, is

(01:33:27):
like it gets you going and hits you in the heart.
But then like on another level, you're you know, taking
a look at the lyrics and seeing what it means.

Speaker 16 (01:33:34):
So this kind of checks those boxes.

Speaker 1 (01:33:36):
And dragged the musical. You're in the production.

Speaker 16 (01:33:38):
Until December ninth, All right, yeah, check it out.

Speaker 6 (01:33:41):
Oh wait, I wanted to tell you my fig tree
that I used to have, says, thank you.

Speaker 1 (01:33:45):
Wait till you hear this, this, this will make you
you ready for another Joey mac Tara breaks down.

Speaker 16 (01:33:49):
Yeah, here we go.

Speaker 6 (01:33:51):
When I had my new kids on the block, sleeping bag,
and then when we were cleaning out when I got
older and we needed to cover the fig tree for
the winter, the new kids on the blocks leaping bag
covered the fig tree and kept it safe all winter long.

Speaker 3 (01:34:05):
No way, thank you?

Speaker 8 (01:34:07):
Did you keep using it or I didn't make it
through the did did we make it through the window?

Speaker 1 (01:34:11):
You did?

Speaker 3 (01:34:11):
And we kept it for many winters.

Speaker 1 (01:34:13):
Yeah, all right, feel free to weep. Go ahead, go
go fig here. Oh thank you.

Speaker 16 (01:34:20):
Paun was brought to you by Brocks.

Speaker 1 (01:34:23):
Joey McIntyre, of course, jingle Bell Love. The new film
is right there own Roku channel. All of the above.
We just you're the hardest. You're the hardest working men
in show business, really.

Speaker 11 (01:34:32):
Are you know?

Speaker 16 (01:34:33):
It's the bandwidth, baby, It's the bandwidth.

Speaker 1 (01:34:35):
See that's it. Thank you, Joey McIntyre everywhere.

Speaker 4 (01:34:40):
You love the Morning Show. It's a good idea to
follow our socials.

Speaker 1 (01:34:44):

Speaker 15 (01:35:15):
This is Elvis Duran in the Morning Show.

Speaker 1 (01:35:20):
You know I love to cook, yes, and everyone's a
while when I'm making something, I'll look the other night,
I made some sphetty carbon ar or whatever, you know,
and I'll take a quick picture of it. I'll send
it to Nate because late night we'd like to compare,
you know, us in the kitchen. I've noticed something. The
other night you were making something like beef tips. What
was it you're making? It was beef tip noodles with
egg noodles exactly, so as he always does, he sends

(01:35:43):
me a picture of it, and I noticed something in
this photo from his kitchen the same time, the same
thing I noticed last time he sent me a picture
when he was making some kind of soup. He's naked.
I mean, I don't see full full frontal immunity dangerous.
But hold on a second, Danielle, I just see skin
like I'll see like his stomach or his chest or something.
So I want to ask you right here before everyone

(01:36:04):
I have. I didn't bring this up before. Do you
cook naked? I don't cook naked per se, but I
do eat naked occasionally. I'm not the only one that
does this. By the way, explain this to me. I'm
eating something messy like the beef tips with noodles. It
can kind of splatter, and I was wearing a nice shirt.

(01:36:25):
You just take off your shirt and eat my shirt
to eat.

Speaker 3 (01:36:27):
That's what happens if a hot noodle lands on your chest.

Speaker 1 (01:36:31):
It probably the odds of that happened. Splatter splatter is
much there's much greater potential for that than a hot noodle.
Would that be considered splatter or spatter? Blood is spattered
and gravy splatter. I'm not the only one. I'm sure
a lot of people take their shirt off to eat.
Call us now, if you're naked when you eat.

Speaker 3 (01:36:52):
Seriously, if it oil splatters, that could be not that's.

Speaker 1 (01:36:57):
Not I get it. Yes, I get it. But if
you're at a rest, you're kind of stuck. You gotta
wear other then you have a napkin. But I don't
have a napkin at home, and I'm not gonna waste
paper towels eating shirt at home like this is or
a bib. Yeah, maybe I want to invest in an
eating shirt. I mean, I guess at the end of
the day, it doesn't matter if you're by yourself, who
cares and you were obviously at home alone. Yeah, I
got home. I had to mix a late lunch because

(01:37:19):
I got home. My girlfriend wasn't home. So I'm like,
you know what, I'll just take my shirt up to
eat some beef tips. I was just wondering. I remember
one time, scary Is it true?

Speaker 5 (01:37:27):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (01:37:28):
I cooked pulled pork naked.

Speaker 3 (01:37:29):
Once you pulled your pork naked.

Speaker 9 (01:37:32):
No, I pulled pork, and I might cook your chicken next.

Speaker 1 (01:37:39):
I get it.

Speaker 3 (01:37:40):
You can't do that.

Speaker 1 (01:37:41):
So I do this if I know that I'm going
out to it. For instance, yesterday Alex and I went
to an Italian restaurant and had this great chicken palm
at Pietro's, this very old school Italian place in midtown Manhattan.
It was around during the Madman days. I smoked cigarettes there, Yeah,
and I knew I was having chicken palm and red
sauce for lunch. So I were a shirt.

Speaker 3 (01:38:00):
Yeah that's good.

Speaker 1 (01:38:01):
So I would think, if I'm going to your house
for dinner on beef tips, I'm gonna wear a gravy,
a gravy colored shirt brown exactly.

Speaker 3 (01:38:11):
Today, I'm gonna go home and stuff my cabbage naked.

Speaker 1 (01:38:15):
You should Yeah, what food should you cook naked? Keep
assa kill bossa right, yeah.

Speaker 3 (01:38:22):
Kilbosa, confern you my taco?

Speaker 1 (01:38:25):
Oh you should have a talk. Should cook tacos? And
you should use a dry rub on your meat. You
know what I'm saying. Always nate when you're making beef
tips naked, just the tips.

Speaker 3 (01:38:37):
Clams of regnata.

Speaker 1 (01:38:39):
Yeah, I'm with you. So anyway, moving along. So I
think that's interesting. Which if you can't be nude while
cooking a juicy meal, then you should at least wear
the clothing that matches the color of the juice.

Speaker 3 (01:38:52):
I agree.

Speaker 1 (01:38:53):
Like all these phone calls coming in This is Joey.
Your wife eats naked?

Speaker 22 (01:38:59):
Yeah, here a long day.

Speaker 7 (01:39:01):
She's just so sick of her bra and wearing her
clothes all day.

Speaker 22 (01:39:04):
She finishes cooking and she just strips down.

Speaker 16 (01:39:06):
I don't mind.

Speaker 1 (01:39:07):
I don't mind it either.

Speaker 3 (01:39:09):
At the table right.

Speaker 8 (01:39:12):
Yeah.

Speaker 22 (01:39:12):
And then sometimes I feel bad that she's doing it alone.
So we're just eating naked on the couch.

Speaker 1 (01:39:16):
But I got you know, I'm with you. I can't
wait to get home and peel off my spanks. Make dinner.

Speaker 3 (01:39:22):
How about a strip steak?

Speaker 1 (01:39:23):
How about a rump roast? Hold on jo at your house? Brady?

Speaker 16 (01:39:29):
Not enough?

Speaker 1 (01:39:30):
Hi, Brady?

Speaker 8 (01:39:31):
Hey, how's it going on?

Speaker 18 (01:39:32):
Doing?

Speaker 1 (01:39:33):
Okay? So your grandma has it figured out. She has
an outfit she wears when she cooks. She only wears
that outfit when she cooks the big meals for the kids.

Speaker 19 (01:39:41):
Yeah, it's for everyone, me and my husband. Whenever she
comes over, she brings us like old shirts, so I
can wear that to cook, especially when she makes cinchilata's.

Speaker 1 (01:40:22):
Yeah, so nice. Okay, one more call from Stephanie then
we have to do this. Hello Stephanie, Hi, are you
doing well? So your girlfriend was baking cookies. Now was
she naked, naked or completely?

Speaker 24 (01:40:34):
You know she was naked because she was getting in
the shower and making cookies at the same time, right,
And when she went to get the shower, she realized,
oh my god, I even take the cookies out. So
she ran to the oven, threw the door open, and
her boob flopped up onto the oven grade and she
burned her boot.

Speaker 1 (01:40:52):
Oh a floppy boob on the oven.

Speaker 3 (01:40:57):
You gotta be careful.

Speaker 6 (01:40:59):
Yeah, you know, if you're a certain age and you're
leaning over to stir this, just stir the Slucey.

Speaker 1 (01:41:07):
You gotta be careful what you're stirring with, all right,
thank you for listening to Stephanie. You tell your girlfriend good?
All right? Thank you.
