Speaker 1 (00:01):
It's time to go around the room with Elvis Duran
in the morning, show around the.

Speaker 2 (00:06):
Room what is on your minds today. I'm gonna start
with you, Danielle. I mean, you're not tired of talking yet.
I can tell what's going on, all right.

Speaker 3 (00:13):
So one of the things I got to do over
the holiday was go to the Thanksgiving Day parade, thanks
to our partner's Kinderjoy, who send me there to sit
in the grand stance. Now I've done it two other
times where it was beautiful outside, Okay, this time it
was the most horrible weather we've ever experienced. It was cold,
it was rainy, it was like icicles coming at your face.

(00:35):
It didn't matter because the people who went to see
this parade showed up, had a great time, screamed and hollered.
I was there with Crystal, who does our afternoons here
at ZE one hundred and New York. We had the
best time together. It was a wonderful experience. It was
so much fun. And I have to say how emotional
I get, because you know how much I love New

(00:56):
York City. I don't care how long I've lived here.
To me, it is one of the most magical wonderful
places in the world. Even if it's dirty, who cares?
Give it to me every single day because there's nothing
like it. And it is such a New York tradition,
the Thanksgiving Day parade at Macy's. So I just want
to say thank you to Kinder for letting me be there.
And I don't care what the weather was like, because

(01:17):
it was worth every single second. I loved it, So
thank you.

Speaker 1 (01:21):
There you go.

Speaker 3 (01:22):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (01:23):
And by the way, Macy's, I mean, they are the
heart of New York City and we were so proud
that not only are they, they're partners of our respect.

Speaker 1 (01:31):
God.

Speaker 2 (01:31):
They put on quite a quite a parade and quite
a fireworks.

Speaker 1 (01:36):
Display every July fourth.

Speaker 3 (01:38):
Raine.

Speaker 1 (01:38):
Oh yeah, anyway, love you Macy's. What's up with you today? Gandhi?

Speaker 4 (01:42):
Well, I had an experience in terrible weather as well,
but the outcome was not as great as Danielle's. I
went to the Ohio State Michigan game at Ohio Stadium.
We were supposed to win and we lost and it
was terrible.

Speaker 1 (01:56):
Oh Hi, they didn't get the memo they're supposed to win.

Speaker 4 (02:00):
We told them it was like a no this time,
it should have been nothing. We are ranked well, we're
ranked number two. Michigan was just terrible this year and
they came into our stadium and they beat us. It
was awful, but it was still a good experience in
freezing cold weather. I'm still glad that I did it.
And everyone's like, oh, what do you have to say
about that?

Speaker 1 (02:17):
With you nothing.

Speaker 4 (02:18):
I don't have anything to say. We sucked. It was terrible.
It happens.

Speaker 5 (02:22):
We move on.

Speaker 1 (02:23):
Sorry about the fight. Everybody got into a fight at
the end that that was the best part.

Speaker 4 (02:28):
Apparently, Diamond texted me, my dad wants to know if
you're in that fight right now.

Speaker 1 (02:32):
I was like, absolutely no, I wasn't. We're on the
way home.

Speaker 4 (02:34):
It was awful, but I still love the Ohio State University.
Go Box, I will always love you you.

Speaker 1 (02:41):
Yeah.

Speaker 6 (02:41):
Uh, Froggy, what's on your mind today? I realized how
soft I am when it comes to weather. So yesterday
I went to the Jaguars game and we were sitting
in the shade. It was sixty degrees. I was freezing.
I had to get up at one point and go
inside somewhere to warm up. It was sixty degrees. And
they get home last night and I'm watching the Buffalo
Bills game where the fans had to come shovel snows.

Speaker 1 (03:01):
They could have a.

Speaker 2 (03:02):
Football game last night, a Bill's game where they get
the snow.

Speaker 1 (03:06):
That's always my favorite.

Speaker 6 (03:07):
And those fans don't give a rats ass if it's cold.
It was seventeen degrees last night. The Bills rolled, but
I realized I am very soft when it comes to weather.
Sixty degrees in the shade, man, I was freezing yesterday.

Speaker 1 (03:17):
Wow, So I got to pick it up somehow. I
don't know.

Speaker 2 (03:20):
That's why God gave us Florida for guys like here. Seriously,
I wish I was there right now. Hey, what's up
with you, producer Sam?

Speaker 7 (03:27):
I want to share a little moment of gratitude I
had over our break because I feel like the small
ones usually just brush white by us.

Speaker 1 (03:32):
So I just moved.

Speaker 7 (03:34):
And the last apartment I lived in was six hundred
square feet, so I had a kitchen that's like the
size of a lot of friends' closets, quite literally. So I,
as we do every year, helped cook for Thanksgiving when
we had at my parents' house. I made three dishes
and I didn't realize until I was in the thick
of it. How lucky I felt to actually be cooking
in a kitchen with some space to cook. This is

(03:55):
the first time in eight years I didn't have a
small fridge, a small oven, and a small over top.

Speaker 1 (04:00):
So I just really am a very appreciative of the
universe right now.

Speaker 7 (04:04):
It feels good just to do something that I think
would feel really normal to a lot of people.

Speaker 1 (04:08):
So lizer for the big ass kitchen. Yeah, big ass kitchens.
I love it. Scary, what's up with you today?

Speaker 8 (04:16):
I was actual a really nice dinner the other night
and a guy three tables over picks up his napkin
and shoves it in his collar like like, I'm like,
wait a second, I only seen that in the movies
or cartoons or something that's funny. Do people still or
it was in an old school thing that that they
don't do anymore?

Speaker 1 (04:36):
Do people really do that?

Speaker 8 (04:38):
Because to me, all I think about is having a
knife on one hand and a fork in the other.

Speaker 1 (04:42):
It's like, ah, let's let's chow down everybody.

Speaker 2 (04:45):
It just seems very it does It does seem very
like cartoonish, you know, or like the big the big
bellied guy with a little napkin tucked into his neck.

Speaker 1 (04:53):
Yeah, but he was doing he puts in his net though.
It does make sense, makes sense.

Speaker 8 (04:57):
But it looks weird and it looks like you're just
like like the savagehood.

Speaker 2 (05:03):
I don't know, I've never seen it in restaurant, and
the guy probably made it made more sense than in
the rest of us.

Speaker 1 (05:10):
In the restaurant, it was this that Carmelini. It was
a Cafe Carmelini.

Speaker 6 (05:14):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (05:14):
I love that place. What a great restaurant. Yeah, you
know what, from now on, I insists we all talk
our napkins in our collar. Oh yeah, no judgment, none,
none at all. And what's up with you straight Nate? Okay,
going back to Wicked for a second here.

Speaker 5 (05:32):
But can someone in a scientifici Ish manner explain to
me why when they hit a note in a Broadway
song you get chills and the hair on the back
of your neck stands up.

Speaker 1 (05:44):
It hits, it hits that nerve. I don't know what
it is.

Speaker 5 (05:47):
But when she's doing the Wizard and I or defying gravity,
she hits that note.

Speaker 1 (05:52):
And god, you just get this chill.

Speaker 5 (05:53):
The money note and I don't know, but there is
there has to be a scientific reason for that, because
it just it happens to nearly everybody, and if it
doesn't happen, you're lying.

Speaker 1 (06:03):
Are you looking at it up, Gandi?

Speaker 8 (06:04):
I did.

Speaker 7 (06:05):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (06:06):
It says there is a combination of things. Adrenaline because
your stress hormone causes hair to stand up, and even
though you're happy, it's still a form of stress because
you're getting so amped up about it. It says dopamine.
It's a neurotransmitter. Obviously we know it activates your reward system,
makes you feel really good. So you put those together,
and then certain areas of the brain that are associated
with pleasure and euphoria get activated. All at the same time.

Speaker 1 (06:27):
You get your goosebumps. If you're in a bad mood,
turn on the Wizard or not. Seriously, Yeah, it's a
good It is a great feeling when you when you
hear those money notes.

Speaker 2 (06:36):
Oh you know, God, it's a thin line between those
money notes making you feel good and when my schnauzers
bark and it hurts my teeth. I don't know, there's
the same thing. Well, with that said, I do believe
I'm gonna try to drag alex At to see wicked today.
Good after we go to Cracker Barrel

Speaker 3 (06:58):
