a part of the NCL family as they are ours.
That's why you invited our friend Gabe who we met
at c at some point we met gave the Gabe
we met you you were you were working the bar
(00:28):
as a mixologist on a on.
Speaker 3 (00:30):
A ship, making cocktails on a ship in the Caribbean.
Best best job ever.
Speaker 2 (00:38):
Could surprise me on that. Of course it's the best
job ever. And of course, uh, you always are the
best that NCL gives us. Every every couple of months
they fly you into New York to make cocktails for us.
Thank you and CL we appreciate that.
Speaker 4 (00:52):
Yeah, thank you.
Speaker 2 (00:52):
So the reason we're talking about this today is, I mean,
with twenty degree temperatures hitting in New York this weekend.
Speaker 1 (01:00):
Degrees or something this weekend, you can.
Speaker 2 (01:02):
Heat it up by running to the computer, running online
and going to n CL dot com and booking your cruise.
Now was talk about what's waiting for you? I mean,
the Caribbean is not a stranger to most people, and
most people are not a stranger to the Caribbean. But
if you are, we just found somebody's going to save
your life. Are you stirring over there? We have two
(01:23):
cocktails coming.
Speaker 1 (01:26):
Nate is going to be so slashed before.
Speaker 4 (01:28):
The Christmas.
Speaker 1 (01:31):
Off.
Speaker 2 (01:31):
Do that we drink responsibly. We're representing NCO. That's right.
The thought of hopping on, of course, one of the best,
most beautiful ships in the world and just rolling just
a few hours off the coast of the United States.
You're in you're in paradise the Caribbean. Let's talk about Miami.
You start there, you can go to the Dominican Republic,
(01:54):
Saint Thomas, and the Virgin Islands Tortola and the British
Virgin Islands of course their own island. Great stir up
k and then back to Miami. How about that. Let's
make that. Okay, this is your dream, your fantasy. Cruise
on n CL on the beautiful ship. You hop on board,
you're in Miami, you go to Dominican Republic, La Da
Da da da play the music, and then and then
(02:16):
oh okay, pack up, go to sleep. We're gonna wake
up in the Virgin Islands and Saint Thomas beautiful. You
know what's great about Saint Thomas. You forget you're you're
actually in the United States, but you don't want to
you don't want to remember that. You want to think
I'm away. Then you go to Tortola in the British
Version Islands. Then you hop back on the ship and
(02:36):
you're in great to drump kate their own island in
the Bahamas, and then back to Miami. That's the saddest part.
He is going back to Miami, so glorious, scary? Aren't
you going to the Bahamas on n CL soon?
Speaker 5 (02:47):
Yeah, Loxia, I'm gonna be leaving out of San Juan
on Norwegian Viva on the twenty ninth, and I'm gonna
escape this cold.
Speaker 2 (02:54):
So we're gonna go to the I think Tortola's on
the list, Barbados and a bunch of other New Year's
on the ship.
Speaker 1 (03:00):
I'll be I'll be on the I did New Year's
on Norwegian Chips for like probably five years straight, the
best time ever. So many parties going on the balloon
drop they do. You're gonna have so much fun.
Speaker 2 (03:12):
Scam so jealous every morning, wait to do a balloon drop.
What about all the wildlife and it's in the ship
making sure we're keeping well.
Speaker 5 (03:24):
This is why Scary is pushing off his weight loss
routine until the fifth or sixth I was wondering, because
he's going to be drinking more and eating more on board. Yeah,
you're going to boke.
Speaker 2 (03:35):
Up, yeah to cut well. As you know at Norwegian,
it's all about getting more at sea. That's why Gabe
is here to give us more cocktails on the on
the show. All right, So okay, so what cocktails from
NCL are you bringing us.
Speaker 3 (03:51):
To So I decided to make two and start with
that tropical tequila one with strawberries, fresh lime.
Speaker 2 (03:57):
I gave it.
Speaker 3 (03:59):
You can go around with that. You feel like you're
in a cruise and uh, okay, on a cruise.
Speaker 2 (04:04):
Let's do it.
Speaker 4 (04:04):
So, you know, just first.
Speaker 3 (04:05):
Strawberries with I pre read them fresh lime juice, uh
fresher gavi, which is what tequila comes from. And uh
and yeah, and that's pretty much it. You know, freshness,
you know, the good thing by n CL they always
get like fresh fresh lime french ingredients.
Speaker 4 (04:22):
So it makes the ga way better.
Speaker 2 (04:25):
Oh, there's that sound. There's that sound. That's the n
CL Caribbean sound right there, Shake it up, shake it up, game,
let's go, let's go.
Speaker 3 (04:33):
And uh, you know the margarita. Can go wrong with
the margarita, especially at the beginning.
Speaker 2 (04:37):
Oh, I can be honest. I've gone wrong in a
margarita ma anytime.
Speaker 4 (04:40):
That is true.
Speaker 2 (04:44):
All right, So what's the name of this one?
Speaker 4 (04:46):
So this one is called it's just very simple and
strawberry gave.
Speaker 2 (04:50):
Okay, okay, let's keep it simple, very simple. I don't
want to think. Norwegian do all the thinking for me exactly.
All right. This is nice. Now, if you go to
n CL dot com right now, you're gonna see a
lot of a lot of choices you can make to
hit the Caribbean. I love the sound of ice.
Speaker 6 (05:07):
I don't want to distract him too much while he's
making the drinks. But Gables does a lot of really
cool stuff with conserving the ingredients, and we're using things
so that there's not a ton of waste.
Speaker 3 (05:16):
Right yeah, yeah, Well, we love we love doing this
program with Norwegian. And we start seeing that way they
cut the strawberries, they cut the top hop and they
throw them in the garbage. So we're like, why don't
we you know, you can still utilize those ingredients.
Speaker 2 (05:30):
So we we get the tops.
Speaker 3 (05:31):
Of the strawberries they left over oranges and we make cerus.
Speaker 2 (05:37):
There's a lot of flavor you're throwing away, throw it away,
and well all the all the incredible mixologists on n
c L they know this trip, you know, to keep
an eye on it.
Speaker 4 (05:47):
Yeah, amazing, bartend there's an NCL amazing.
Speaker 2 (05:49):
So just think about maybe, if not maybe in South Florida,
but anywhere else in this country of ours. Wouldn't it
be great just to trade the snow for the sand?
Speaker 6 (05:57):
Yes, yes, a suggesting we go cool, let's go Yeah.
Speaker 5 (06:02):
Sunday and Monday in the Northeast, it's gonna be a
higher twenty four.
Speaker 2 (06:08):
And the thing n CL is really really teaching all
of us in the NCAL family this year especially, is
the more you can get and the value you get.
I mean, it's more of everything right now, unlimited like unlimited,
open bar, Wi Fi, the short excursion credits. On top
of that, there's oh, there's premium drinks as you can hear,
(06:29):
Oh is this a cocktail? We interrupt this NCAL conversation
for a cocktail. Oh, this is nice, This is beautiful.
It smells so good. This is the fresh strawberry I.
Speaker 3 (06:39):
Got strawberry, I got it, lime juice and tequila, just
you know, refreshing.
Speaker 2 (06:44):
Oh can you go grab my speedo?
Speaker 5 (06:47):
Why is it when I try to make it drink
at home it tastes like garbage.
Speaker 2 (06:53):
Because you know what you're doing.
Speaker 4 (06:54):
But yeah, seriously, everything before I.
Speaker 2 (06:57):
Did, Seriously, I would love to be able to make
this a Oh this is so good. You're the master
of your craft. Thank you, guys.
Speaker 3 (07:04):
So last cocktail I'm gonna make it for you, guys,
is the most trophical one.
Speaker 4 (07:07):
It's called the pain Killer. We can use one of us.
Speaker 2 (07:10):
Okay, because we all have a lot of pain in
this round.
Speaker 3 (07:13):
They call it that because it was mad in the
British Islands and the British Islands and uh, it's just
fresh coconut, pineapple, orange juice and dark rooms. Okay, So
it's perfect for in the cruise.
Speaker 2 (07:24):
So technically, if you drink something called the painkiller, you'll
open your eyes and Nate will be gone. You got
a phone call, Let's talk to Sandy. Hi, Sandy, Sandy
are you there, Sandy. Hello, Okay, Sandy's not there. Can
(07:44):
you get Sandy? Find out what Sandy's problem is? Is
she drinking the painkiller? Already?
Speaker 6 (07:48):
You are stirring in the back.
Speaker 2 (07:51):
I'm gonna I was gonna take care of Sandy.
Speaker 5 (07:54):
Not anymore.
Speaker 2 (07:57):
Carping drink is getting to him.
Speaker 5 (07:58):
Here, he goes, I don't know what happened or more.
Speaker 2 (08:03):
Wow, I feel bad for Sandy. She's about to get
a free cruise and it's Sandy asps up. May you
got two steps, Nate? It hits me. You know what, Nate.
You have one assignment is to keep get Sandy back home.
The phone job all right? It was okay, hold on here,
(08:28):
hear me out. Norwegian's morent c let me. I did
my homework. You get over two thousand dollars in value
price right now. It's the lowest they'll go for the Caribbean.
You book your cruise, they're saying. And I don't know
if Norwegian wants need to tell you this, but I'm
gonna tell you anyway. You need to book it. Book
your Caribbean trip today, really soon? Oh yeah, before the
(08:51):
end of the year. Book your early twenty twenty five
Caribbean cruise before the end of the year because the
prices are at the lowest. They may not have want
me to tell you that, but I'll tell you anyway. Anyway,
they hate me anyway, Norwegian? Do I drink all their booze?
Speaker 5 (09:04):
Yeah?
Speaker 2 (09:05):
Anyway? How's this song so good? This is ridiculous. Nick
slowed down.
Speaker 1 (09:11):
Man, dude, he drank the whole thing over and you
don't had anything in your belly. We didn't eat anything yet.
Speaker 4 (09:16):
Fine, Oh jeez, we had our arms.
Speaker 1 (09:18):
Fine.
Speaker 2 (09:19):
I got Sandy, Sandy, Sandy, are you there? Is there
a problem?
Speaker 4 (09:24):
I don't know what happened to my phone?
Speaker 2 (09:25):
Okay, well, Sandy, you're on now. That's all you're on. Now,
that's all that matters. How are you.
Speaker 1 (09:32):
I'm so good.
Speaker 4 (09:32):
I'm so excited to talk to you, guys.
Speaker 1 (09:35):
I love you guys so much.
Speaker 2 (09:36):
Where are you calling from? You're in Pennsylvania somewhere. It's cold.
Where I'm in Pennsylvania.
Speaker 4 (09:41):
I'm about thirty miles from Penncie, in a little town
called Mcdaytown.
Speaker 6 (09:45):
Okay, sounds cold.
Speaker 2 (09:47):
Mcveightown. Yeah, he's been there. Okay, well, okay, it's I've
heard it. Get out of mcveightown.
Speaker 4 (09:53):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (09:56):
Now, Sandy, you've never been on a Norwegian Cruise Line
cruise ever and ever ever?
Speaker 1 (10:03):
Ever?
Speaker 2 (10:03):
No, well, well well you Nate really, Daniel, you're in
charge of them.
Speaker 5 (10:14):
I'm not in charge of not. I am not.
Speaker 2 (10:15):
I have two kids on my own at the need
to walk. Okay, So I don't know if you've been
to n CL dot com. You need to go soon
because you need to choose which Caribbean cruise you wish
to take.
Speaker 1 (10:24):
There's so many too. It's you know, I know, I
love to like say you don't have a lot of
time on your hands vacation time, you can take like
a three or four day cruise.
Speaker 2 (10:32):
By the way, I just gave her a cruise.
Speaker 1 (10:33):
I know what I'm just saying.
Speaker 2 (10:34):
Hold on, can't we just basket.
Speaker 6 (10:36):
That globe for a second to celebrate you just want
a Caribbean cruise? Oh my gosh, thank you so much.
Speaker 2 (10:45):
You're so welcome now, Oh my god, I love you guys.
Did you love us before we gave you a cruise?
Speaker 6 (10:52):
I did?
Speaker 4 (10:53):
I love you more?
Speaker 6 (10:54):
Now she can be bought.
Speaker 2 (10:56):
So when tu lest you actually flew to the Caribbean?
Whens the last time you were in the Caribbean. Sandy,
are you there? You know she's so busy packing her bags,
you know, get her on the phone, give her a
cruise or we love her anyway, So Sandy's on their
way on the way to the Caribbean. Like I said before,
(11:18):
book A seven, how about a seven day Norwegian Encore cruise.
This is the one I'm thinking of. That's the one
we're talking about, right from Miami to Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic,
Saint Thomas and then Tortola Greats, your k your own
private Inciel Island and then back to Miami. Or maybe
just stay on their island and just pretend you God
(11:39):
on board, but don't just stay there.
Speaker 6 (11:41):
I really think we should do this so that we
can report back on exactly how it went in our
favorite stock.
Speaker 2 (11:47):
Go just please go, all of us, but anyone and
everyone who needs to get out of the cold, go
to NCL dot com. Now this is the time to
get the best more at sea value at all. Yes, Nate,
what are you drinking now? This is a painkiller and
it's fantastic. Stick is doing what it really did.
Speaker 5 (12:03):
Seriously, I wish I could, like I said, make cocktails
like this at home.
Speaker 6 (12:07):
Glad you can't.
Speaker 2 (12:08):
I'm so glad that Yeah, I'll be. It's starting to
hit me right now.
Speaker 6 (12:11):
Oh oh just now.
Speaker 2 (12:12):
Yeah, Okay, Gabe really knows how to make it. Drink Gabe,
Thank you, Gabe. Why do cocktails taste differently on an
m CL ship than when we make them at home?
Speaker 4 (12:22):
Well, you know, fresh ingredients is the key.
Speaker 3 (12:25):
You know, you want to use all the freshs you
can get, and you know, and also the fact that
you're in a cruise, You're in vacation, you don't have
to work, you you're hanging out with your family, with
your friends, So that's a value to it.
Speaker 4 (12:38):
You know. It gets the the juices going.
Speaker 3 (12:41):
But at home, I suggest just get fresh ingredients, quality spirits,
great eyes, and you can start messing around and you'll
come out with great recipes.
Speaker 2 (12:50):
Here, let's mess around. I'll just go. I'll just book
a cruise. It'll be way better than you do messing
around at home.
Speaker 1 (12:55):
Hey, Gabe, we forgot to tell you your parting gift today.
Speaker 2 (12:58):
Nate, no get with you.
Speaker 6 (13:01):
If these get the juices going, how do we stop
Nates juices? If we wanted to, There's no way your juices.
Speaker 2 (13:09):
Well look again, n cl dot com. The pictures alone
will intrigue you. You'll you'll you'll see the sandy beaches,
you'll see the palm trees, you'll see the as you're
blue waters, and you'll go okay, and then you look
around in your house and go, I'm out of here.
An CL dot com. Just do it today, and thank
you for so much. Gabe going to continue to drink things.
I think when we come back from the next song
(13:31):
we play, we're gonna drink.
Speaker 4 (13:31):
Some more amazing.
Speaker 2 (13:33):
Let's here for Nate. Let's here for Nate. He made
it through the entire interview.
Speaker 6 (13:37):
He's clapping for himself.
Speaker 2 (13:38):
That's it. What to day, What to Day. Christus is
almost here.
