I'm doing good. I'm a little sad. It's my last day,
it's your last day.

issues because of Maggie. Yeah, I've learned so much about Maggie.
In the background, just you know, you know me, I
always like to stay in the shadows. I'm like that
elusive figure at the funeral by the grave site. But
I'm up like under that tree in the background, wearing

black glasses and a veil in a veil watching. So
when Maggie was three, she received a gun as a
Christmas gift. Was that a Christmas gift?
Speaker 3 (00:45):
It was actually third grade?
Speaker 1 (00:47):
Third grade?
Speaker 3 (00:47):
Yes, three years three would have been crazy and like
I would to be shocked, like as a Southern child.
Speaker 1 (00:52):
But where are you from again?
Speaker 3 (00:54):
All over the place? I was born in Alabama, moved
to Texas, Michigan.
Speaker 1 (00:57):
Yeah, so you've been to the gun stage.
Speaker 2 (00:59):
Wow?
Speaker 3 (00:59):
Yeah, I live in Tennessee.
Speaker 1 (01:01):
So I was shooting a gun or in third grade? Too. Yeah,
very Barry Texas Well gave me the gun. My dad.
Speaker 3 (01:07):
It was actually like right after my parents divorced, so
he was like, I need you something big, and then
he wanted to bond with us by going to the
gun range. So we just like, I get it, bought
us guns.
Speaker 1 (01:15):
I get it. I totally get it. Hey, so was
it you that purchased a horse off craigslist? She's so
funny making sure that was you. That was me? I was.
Speaker 3 (01:28):
I was literally like young, and like I would just
like go on Craigslist and like look around and I
wanted a horse. I like lived in the middle of
nowhere in Michigan and we had like land and stuff,
so it was like reasonable and then we're just like
reasonably priced horses.
Speaker 1 (01:40):
So did you go through with the purchase?
Speaker 2 (01:43):
Yeah?
Speaker 1 (01:43):
And where's the horse now?
Speaker 3 (01:46):
It exists a house?
Speaker 1 (01:48):
Okay?

Good?

Yeah? Wait wait and the other day you told us
that you bought you brought.
Speaker 3 (01:52):
Home a yeah. Yeah. I'm just like it's my family's
just a big animal family that questions.

Yes, question, how old were you when you bought the
horse on craigslist?
Speaker 3 (02:04):
Middle school?

How much does a horse cost?
Speaker 3 (02:06):
It was like a thousand dollars.
Speaker 1 (02:07):
Where did you get that? In middle school?
Speaker 3 (02:08):
I just like never bought anything from any of my
Christmas presents ever, Like, I literally just have been saving
my money for my entire life for a horse. I like,
apparently I thought I was gonna get a dog at first,
but then I ended up being a horse, and then
I got the dog later.
Speaker 1 (02:21):
Cool.
Speaker 2 (02:21):
So when the horse arrives, what's the reaction of the parents.
Speaker 3 (02:24):
Well, the parents knew, they knew. I can't Like I
was in middle school, I can't just like get a horse.
Speaker 1 (02:31):
I don't know.
Speaker 2 (02:32):
You are surprising me.
Speaker 1 (02:34):
We could, it would be yeah. Anyway. So I love
your spirit. I think you're just fantastic and h I
love everyone's loving your last day at the station. Shirt
you're wearing today, to leave that for me before you leave.
Leave their clothing at the door. He's wearing a skull,
but it's a Union jack, which is one of my
favorite things. Okay, let's get into what's going on. This

is your last day interning with our show. You returned
to school this week or on Wednesday?
Speaker 3 (03:00):
I go back to Belmont in Nashville.
Speaker 1 (03:02):
How are you feeling about that?
Speaker 3 (03:03):
I'm excited. It's my last semester. I graduate in December,
so I'm like ready to be done. But I'm tired
of Nashville.
Speaker 1 (03:10):
Right, So that's feel such a great place. Why are
you tiring of Nashville.
Speaker 3 (03:13):
It's the longest I've ever lived anywhere. So I've been
there for three years and I've been in the same apartment,
and I'm just like bored.
Speaker 1 (03:19):
Do you see yourself living this nomadic life for the
rest of your life where you just don't stay at
any place in more than a year or two at.
Speaker 3 (03:26):
Most, probably? Unfortunately, I want to move here probably in
January or July, and then after that I want to
move to London.
Speaker 1 (03:34):
But that's like a big move.
Speaker 3 (03:35):
At first, I was going to move to London in
next September, but I was like, I need to slow
down before I just like leave the country.
Speaker 1 (03:40):
No, you don't let me tell you something. May I
say something? You are living this life I and many
people just dream of doing. I've been living. It's the
same place for I've been in New York since nineteen
eighty nine. Right. The thought of just picking up and
moving and then when you're done with that, when you've
learned all you can learn and you've eaten all you
could eat, you've met all you can meet, It's time
(04:02):
to go.
Speaker 3 (04:03):
Definitely, No, I definitely feel lucky that. Like it was
a little bit chaotic growing up, but I was just
moving around so much. I feel like I'm just like
comfortable moving like all my friends are like, Oh, I've
lived in Vermont my entire life and my first time
leaving was going to college and I couldnot imagine that.
Speaker 1 (04:17):
Good for you, Good for you very much. So what
do you think?
Speaker 3 (04:21):
Oh, I think it's awesome.
Speaker 2 (04:21):
I think you're doing it at the exact perfect time, too,
because you'll be able to figure out what you like,
where you make you want to stay, if at any
point you do want to stay. But I think so
many people get out of school and then get a
job and before you know it, life just happened and
you're in the same place and you didn't realize that
it was going to go like that. But if you
could just, you know, make that move right after school,
that's awesome for sure.
Speaker 1 (04:42):
Well, I'm on Craigslist. I found brother and sister goat kids.
They're too fitty. Goats are so easy, but you can
travel with them. You're two hundred and fifty apiece. That's bad.
Oh fifty for the pair?
Speaker 2 (04:56):
Gond you or not? Let's get them, get U get
them purchase We'll keep him at Elvis's house.
Speaker 1 (05:03):
Purchase to keep them at my house?
Speaker 3 (05:04):
Why not?

You have plenty of rooms, you new form parts, people
feed them.
Speaker 3 (05:09):
Well, you me make myself at home.
Speaker 1 (05:11):
We're pretty sure in wanting Maggie and wanting to live
this nomadic lifestyle whatever you want to call it. What
is what is your what do you what will you
be tethered to if not to a location, to a career,
to a need for learning for the rest of your life,
what is it you always want to be tethered to?
Speaker 3 (05:31):
Well, like, shockingly, my animals, Like I'm just stuck with
them right now. I have a dog and a cat
and this is my first time that I haven't had
them like with me because I couldn't bring them to
the city for the summer. So, like being able to
be with them is like the most important thing to me,
probably yea.
Speaker 1 (05:44):
So making sure you move from point A to point
B the animals can go with you. This is this
is the life, This is the life I want.
Speaker 2 (05:53):
Now, have you thought about what you want to do.
Speaker 3 (05:59):
I mean, I like, like work wise, yeah, I don't know.
I've been interning for two years straight, just like in
the music industry, so I probably like keep working in music.
And I'm not sure we're all in.
Speaker 1 (06:09):
Well, music is very international, very definitely global industry. That
might have in London for music that will they have
music there. They do. Animals perfect animals and music. Wow. Well, look,
thank you for a serving time and the Elvis Duran
prison system, prison system, and congratulations on uh having a
