Teddy Swift. Hey how about Hey, We're just gonna start
right away. You said the song Lose Control was going
to change your life.
Speaker 1 (00:11):
You just knew it. How did you know it?
Speaker 3 (00:14):
I think I don't know. You know, that was the
first time I think I've really felt that way, But
I can't tell you how, you know, But I think
now that I know, and I was right. I think
now moving forward, I've I've really kind of trusted my
gut a whole lot more in situations, you know, and
it's been a good thing.
Speaker 4 (00:29):
You have been doing a lot this year. The last
time we saw you was at our summer back yes man,
and it was amazing. And I'm most excited to see
you tonight, by the way, on stage.

things changed over the year, and what are we expecting with.
Speaker 1 (00:46):
The new album?
Speaker 3 (00:47):
You know, with the Part two, I felt the story
kind of wasn't finished. I think I've been, you know,
in a better place and through my healing journey, I'm
in love and in therapy and and just you know,
just doing better, you know. So not to say that
there's not a lot of turmoil and heartbreak in the
new one, but I think it was also the songs
for lovers too, and so it's just it's not just
(01:07):
heartbreak full in this time. So there's you know, there's
something for everybody.
Speaker 2 (01:10):
And you're collabing, you've got and yeah, so who are
you looking forward to collabing with in the future.
Speaker 3 (01:17):
Well, uh, my dream would would would be a Dale probably.
I would really love to sing with her one day.
But that's that's just throwing it out in the ether.
Well she sees this.
Speaker 2 (01:25):
Maybe if she sees this, Adele, give him a call. Please,
thank you.
Speaker 1 (01:29):
You've been touring a lot.
Speaker 4 (01:30):
You're in different cities all the time, doing different shows
all the time. When you think about something that you
can't live without, you need it, What is that.
Speaker 3 (01:37):
Thing I see? I was gonna say, no, that's not
that's not say what you's saying. I'm just gonna preface
this as I'm fine and I don't need it. But
the first thing that came to my mind was gonna
be tequila. But I just wanted to go ahead and practice.
I was going to practice the fact that I'm not
gonna say that because I don't need.
Speaker 2 (01:56):
Don't quote him, so going to say tequila.
Speaker 3 (02:00):
But I'll will take a bill of high life.
Speaker 2 (02:08):
I'm guessing for the holiday season, sometimes you'll sing a
Christmas song or two.
Speaker 1 (02:11):
Yeah, a favorite that you like to sing.
Speaker 3 (02:13):
You know. I'm uh, Donnie Hathaway, you know what I
did this Christmas? And that's always like, that's the soul
in it. You know, you gotta have it.
Speaker 1 (02:20):
I love it. I discovered your Christmas album. I was
so happy.
Speaker 3 (02:23):
So what Yeah, we did it like years ago, and
you know in our garage. Man, it's so uh. I
think one of these days we're gonna update it. Yeah,
in the next couple of years. It sounds like a garage,
but it's it's special.
Speaker 4 (02:36):
Well, we're really excited to see you perform tonight. I
can't wait. It's gonna be a great time. Are you
excited to see somebody here?
Speaker 3 (02:42):
Yeah? I mean my baby Vincent boom man, of course.
And I get I get to see my girl beg
of train or two. I'm so excited. We haven't seen
each other in so long, So her and Darryl. I'm
just so excited to hug their next and I got
just there's just nothing but family in here tonight. So
I'm really really fun.
Speaker 1 (02:56):
I love it.
Speaker 2 (02:57):
That's one of our favorite things is we see people
that know each other, don't know each other and they
you know, meet for the first time and they want
to collab or they haven't seen it, Ye.
Speaker 3 (03:05):
Catch up and you've played for like twenty minutes, and
then you get to watch everybody else. Yeah, so it's
it's so sick. This is the best, this is the
best time of the year.
