Speaker 1 (00:01):
Today's Daily Highlight from Elvis Duran in the Morning Show. Hey,
I want you to text me at fifty five one
hundred if you are one of the three percent of
Americans that brush their teeth while sitting on the toilet.
Oh may be nice. Some people are there time efficient

(00:22):
that doesn't seem practically they like to they're hitting several
targets with one shot. Do you spit like between your legs?
I guess that's what we're gonna find out. All right,
this is okay, this is what I learned while I
was on vacation. The question for the random poll was
where do you brush your teeth? Seventy one percent said

(00:42):
they in the mirror at the sink. Twenty percent of
people said they walk around the house while they're brushing
their teeth. In three percent say they sit somewhere. Another
three percent says they sit on the toilet while brushing
their teeth. Okay, you know, don't even mention brushing your

(01:03):
teeth in the shower. Scott de Beeg is so upset
about thinking about it. I will tell you though, I
drank coffee on the toilet the other day, which was
kind of weird. Oh, everything you do is weird. You
cannot mix articles and food or anything that you consume exactly.
I was thinking about that. But I would rather you
shower and brush your teeth and toilet and brush your toilet.

(01:25):
You'd rather a shower toothbrush than a shouting tooth what?
I would rather brush my teeth on the toilet than
in the shower. Yeah, I might try it later, okay.
But also they went and intrigued me as people walking
around the house while brushing, because I would drip all
over the place. Yeah yeah, me too, straight down my chin, yeah,

(01:47):
well slobby anyway, all right, no one is uh, no
one's texting in about Oh. Someone said they they brush
your teeth on the toilet if they're running late. Okay,
lot of people brush their teeth in the shower. M hm, okay,
I just don't brush my teeth if I'm running with
my father. I'm a shower rusher. You get everything. I

(02:10):
don't want to spintle on my mirror. That's why I
do everything in the shower, shower, all of it. Toothpaste, toes.
All right. What was that said? Scary to smell very minty?
Why do your joe smell so minty? Scary. Your toes
are so fresh,

The heart was always off-limits to surgeons. Cutting into it spelled instant death for the patient. That is, until a ragtag group of doctors scattered across the Midwest and Texas decided to throw out the rule book. Working in makeshift laboratories and home garages, using medical devices made from scavenged machine parts and beer tubes, these men and women invented the field of open heart surgery. Odds are, someone you know is alive because of them. So why has history left them behind? Presented by Chris Pine, CARDIAC COWBOYS tells the gripping true story behind the birth of heart surgery, and the young, Greatest Generation doctors who made it happen. For years, they competed and feuded, racing to be the first, the best, and the most prolific. Some appeared on the cover of Time Magazine, operated on kings and advised presidents. Others ended up disgraced, penniless, and convicted of felonies. Together, they ignited a revolution in medicine, and changed the world.
