Speaker 1 (00:01):
It's time to go around the room with Elvis Duran
in the Morning show.
Speaker 2 (00:05):
All Right, I'm getting looked at. We got to hurry,
Danielle'll start with you around the room. What's on your mind?
Speaker 3 (00:09):
Okay, So you guys know the New York Kaggies were
the first to use those torpedo bats, right. So apparently
my son Spencer was like, I want to get my
hands on one. So he went online and he found
the Anthony Vopie one before I guess everybody found out
that it was online. I don't think you can get
them now. Oh my gosh, I have never seen somebody
(00:29):
so excited to get a present.
Speaker 4 (00:32):
Wasn't a present. He bought it for himself.
Speaker 3 (00:33):
But he yesterday he opened the box, he took the
bat out. He and his friends were there. They were
jumping all over the place. It was the coolest thing ever.
He didn't even use the bat yesterday. He just carried
it around the house yesterday. I'm guessing it will make
its way outside, which is nice because I was like,
please do not use the bat in the house. But
it was just so nice to see him so joyous.
Speaker 4 (00:53):
And happy over and he's appreciative.
Speaker 3 (00:55):
Yes, So appreciive he bought it. He appreciates his own money, Torpedo. So, Benny,
I'm so happy you're happy.
Speaker 4 (01:02):
I'm glad that he's learned the importance of buying yourself
a gift.
Speaker 5 (01:04):
Ye.
Speaker 4 (01:05):
I like that. I like that, Hey, producer, sand what's
up trying to.
Speaker 1 (01:07):
Unlearn that lesson? Okay? Is this genius or is this
just weird?
Speaker 5 (01:11):
I was out to sitterr with a friend the other night,
and then afterwards I asked her if she had a
piece of gum, to which she replied, sure, opened her purse.
Speaker 1 (01:18):
Guess what she handed me a tube of toothpaste.
Speaker 5 (01:21):
What.
Speaker 1 (01:21):
No, that's weird. She had to be a tube of toothpaste.
I'm like, this is this is not gum?
Speaker 5 (01:25):
She goes, yeah, watch and she puts it on her finger,
and she gave herself a little brush and she swallowed
the toothpaste.
Speaker 1 (01:30):
And she goes, this is what I use instead of
God's supposed to swallow toothpaste. Listen.
Speaker 5 (01:33):
I told her that I think that's kind of strang
and she thinks it's genius.
Speaker 1 (01:38):
I needed to gauge the room a little bit. It's weird, how.
Speaker 4 (01:40):
Gun me getting swallow toothpaste.
Speaker 3 (01:42):
I don't know.
Speaker 5 (01:42):
We put every day you're supposed to, all right, a
little bit and she goes, this is.
Speaker 1 (01:48):
Better than gum.
Speaker 4 (01:49):
I go to a tube every morning.
Speaker 1 (01:51):
Tube Its delicious.
Speaker 4 (01:52):
I put it on my ice cream. Hey, Gandhi, what's up.
Speaker 6 (01:55):
I just want to remind everybody who is not here
in the city that when you visit your friends in
New York City, do not just spring it on them
at the last second.
Speaker 1 (02:03):
Hey, I'm here and I want to see you. We
have to plan.
Speaker 6 (02:05):
It's not that easy. And also, one of my best friends,
I love her, she's coming to town. She said, I'm
gonna be in your town.
Speaker 1 (02:10):
I can't wait to see you. What will be there
for three days on Long Island? I was like, Oh,
we're not going to see each other.
Speaker 6 (02:15):
What are you talking about. They have no idea, they
have no concept. And it's happened to me three times
in a row this week. I love my friends.
Speaker 1 (02:21):
I want to see them, but they're making my life miserable.
This trekking all around.
Speaker 2 (02:24):
They need to know the rules. Yes, we have rules.
This is New York City is a different beast.
Speaker 1 (02:28):
Long Island off limits' scary.
Speaker 3 (02:30):
You want to know what happens to you if you're
really fast convulsions, diarrhea, difficulty breathing, drooling, a heart attack,
slow heart rate shock.
Speaker 2 (02:41):
That's what caused all that stuff for me, Yes, you
ate a scary what's going on?
Speaker 4 (02:44):
Scary?
Speaker 7 (02:45):
I was reflecting on what Gandhi was saying before and
yesterday's podcast about hugging, and I had to think about
and look in my own life and I'm like, oh
my god, I grew up on a family of affection
and nothing but hugging.
Speaker 4 (02:56):
I need to stop just assuming the hug And I
will say.
Speaker 7 (02:59):
That maybe it's a younger generation thing, but anytime I
meet people now, they like they put their hand out
and I'm like, a guess, I'm just gonna shake your hand.
Speaker 4 (03:06):
We're not gonna go in for a look at hey,
what's the first of all?
Speaker 2 (03:09):
Calm down, you're good, Okay, your your intensity level is
way up there.
Speaker 4 (03:12):
No, it's not a young generation thing. It's on everyone thing.
Some people don't like being touched. It's just the way
it is. It's and it's sometimes courteous to ask. That's all. Well,
just know that.
Speaker 7 (03:21):
In my mind now I'm going to second guess myself
I'm not gonna assume the hug position.
Speaker 4 (03:25):
Okay, okay, good, good, and this is good. You know
Kelvic thrust uh straight in eight? What's up? Okay?
Speaker 8 (03:32):
We were talking about sleeping earlier. I want to train
myself to sleep on my back. I am a side sleeper.
I roll around, but I would love to sleep on
my back. If you sleep on your back and have
trained yourself to do so, please text fifty five one
hundred and tell me how you did it. I sleep
so soundly when I do love to be able to
do it. I just can't get what an odd request. Seriously,
(03:55):
tell me how you sleep on your back to win.
The few times I've fallen asleep on my back, I
sleep so well, but I gotta be fall something.
Speaker 4 (04:02):
Like that the googler I tried. I tried.
Speaker 8 (04:05):
I seriously, I've got like that stupid diagram sheet and
it doesn't die.
Speaker 2 (04:09):
I think the way people naturally sleep is it's an
individual thing. You may never ever I want.
Speaker 4 (04:15):
To sleep like Dracula. I just want to like put
my head back and.
Speaker 2 (04:18):
Have like harnesses and things, and like they may have
to like bolt you down like Frankenstein's monster.
Speaker 4 (04:25):
Interesting
