Speaker 1 (00:00):
It is food News Thursdays. Shall we get into it?

Speaker 2 (00:02):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (00:03):
Can you handle it? Yeah? I think so? Gg alright, Froggy,
what are you go going on?

Speaker 2 (00:11):
All right? McDonald's has just announced the introduction of mccrispy Strips,
a new line of chicken strips, along with a new
creamy chili dip, beginning on May fifth, one, Monday, mccrispy Strips.
They'll be the first permanent menu edition added at McDonald's
since the mccrispy chicken sandwich way back in twenty twenty one,
made with one white meat chicken. Starting on Monday, you

(00:34):
can get your mccrispy strips at McDonald's. Also, KFC adding
something back to their menu after five long years. They
are reintroducing chicken and waffles at KFC, accompanied by another
sweet tree. Yeah. These strawberry cream poppers just in time
for your summer. KFC's take on the chicken and waffles.
It's a bite sized waffle paired with classic bread and

(00:56):
fried chicken, and it also comes to the helping of
missus Butterworth's syrup. Whether you want to drizzle it or
don'tk it, however you want to do it. Those will
be available at KFC and it's back after being away
for five years, so I try it. We all love
olive Garden. I know nobody loves olive garden more than
your husband Elvis Oh Alex how adores olive garden.

Speaker 1 (01:19):
He does. But get this?

Speaker 2 (01:20):
Did you know that you can get the recipe to
make the breadsticks online? This person has found that if
you get the Parker House roll dough, melted butter, and
garlic salt, you can make your own Olive Garden breadsticks
that taste exactly the same as they do in the restaurant.

(01:41):
And it's really simple to do. You take a twenty
five ounce package of Parker House Roll dough, roll each
piece into an eight inch an eight inch stick. Place
the breadsticks on a parchment paper line baking sheet, brush
them with melted butter, let them rise in a warm
spot for about thirty minutes, and then bake them at
three seventy five for ten minutes. Brush them with butter,

(02:02):
little garlic salt, and you've got your You know what
I do, redsticks.

Speaker 3 (02:05):
I want to get to job at Olive Garden where
I get to measure the eight inch breadsticks.

Speaker 2 (02:11):
What are you gonna use the measure.

Speaker 1 (02:12):
With a ruler foggy? What else is going on?

Speaker 2 (02:15):
Okay? Also Costco, I don't know if you have seen
this online. Du Bui chocolate is like the new viral
food trend that's going wild.

Speaker 3 (02:23):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (02:24):
Well, Costco is entering the arena with the introduction of
their new Dubai Chocolate ice cream bars. You can find
them in the frozen section at your local Costco if
you would like to try du Bui chocolate, because they
claim it's better than any other chocolate in the world.
So give that a try. I need to throw it
over to my cereal correspondent, Scotti Bee's got something interesting
for us?

Speaker 1 (02:42):
Oh really, Scotty Bee has something interesting? I does? Okay.

Speaker 4 (02:45):
You know there has not been a mainstream release of
an orange flavored cereal since Kellogg's did it with OJ's
in the eighties, and now Quaker's doing it with orange
cream pop cap'n Crunch.

Speaker 1 (02:59):
Oh look at and you said it right, Captain.

Speaker 4 (03:01):
It is capt'n It's a limited time summer cereal and
it's starting to appear in stores.

Speaker 2 (03:06):
Now.

Speaker 1 (03:07):
Do you eat it with milk?

Speaker 2 (03:09):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (03:09):
See that's the thing.

Speaker 4 (03:10):
You would think it's kind of acidic, but they got
it just perfect. So it's it's nice.

Speaker 1 (03:14):
Yeah, it's sweet. So back to you.

Speaker 2 (03:17):
Yeah, don't call it Captain crunch. That drives me a
little nutty, I know, Captain crunch. All right, I need
your help deciding which count Now we're going to do.

Speaker 1 (03:26):
Okay, which one? How many do you have to choose
from two?

Speaker 2 (03:29):
Okay, you can get the top five mall food courts
smells or the top five best smelling foods of all time.

Speaker 3 (03:41):
I think the food court food Now does that have
to be food like food smell? Or can't be the
smell from that candleshop next to the food.

Speaker 1 (03:49):
