Speaker 1 (00:01):
Let's play a game with Elvis Duran in the Morning show.
It is Men's Mental Health Awareness Month, very important. I'm so,
I'm so glad. As I said earlier that this isn't
something we sweep under the rug like we used to
do back in the day. And maybe you're not old
enough to remember those days, but mental health, for anyone,
(00:22):
be it female, male, or whatever, it was just not
talked about. If there was a there was a big,
big rope block up. No, no, let's not talk about that.
Heaped for bid we talk about mental health. Well, I'm
glad we are now, and it's never gonna be enough.
We should always talk about it. You know, if you
or someone you know is going through a world and
(00:44):
a life of not trying to not be able to
figure out what's wrong, but there's something going on and
you just know it and your gut in your heart
and you're not reaching out to anyone for help on it,
go ahead, do it.
Speaker 2 (00:57):
I think it's great.
Speaker 1 (00:57):
I think it takes courage, absolutely, but I think it's
something you owe yourself because you are your number one
advocate for all things health, be it mental or physical
or whatever, right spiritual. So we were talking about this
Men's Health Awareness Month topic a few days ago off
the air, and Gandhi said, hmm, I think I'm able
(01:18):
to do I may be able to do something with this.
Speaker 2 (01:20):
So your little music going here, and you can turn
that down a little bit. So what are your thoughts here? Gandhi?
Speaker 3 (01:27):
Okay, So, I think that when you hear some of
these people, we know that.
Speaker 2 (01:31):
They have had issues.
Speaker 3 (01:32):
But I also think it really helps to see some
of the most popular people in the world struggling with
some of the same things that you might be struggling with.
Speaker 2 (01:38):
So it's going to be very easy.
Speaker 3 (01:40):
All you have to do is identify who the person
is and then we'll tell you what they're dealing with.
Speaker 2 (01:44):
Easy. I like that, all right.
Speaker 1 (01:46):
So, and by the way, this list of male celebrities
is I mean, it's all over the road. I mean
different genres of entertainment, maybe music or acting or whatever.
Speaker 2 (01:56):
We'll see how you do.
Speaker 1 (01:58):
Kelly is on Line five calling from Cleveland, listening to kiss.
Speaker 2 (02:02):
How are you doing, Kelly? Welcome to the day, Welcome
to Tuesday, Thank you, good morning, and good morning.
Speaker 1 (02:08):
Any thoughts before we get going? What do you feel
about Men's Mental Health Awareness Month?
Speaker 2 (02:13):
And the importance of it.
Speaker 4 (02:15):
I think it's so important. I mean, I personally it's
women's mental health, but it's something that I think we
all deal with, and I think it's important that we
talk about it, and it's not something that's shameful, so.
Speaker 1 (02:26):
Exactly, and the fact that there are celebrities who are
willing to go beyond what they do on stage and
on film and in recording studios, going beyond that to
talk about it. And I think that's what Gandhi's wanting
to point out here right all right, through the right way,
exactly exactly, through the magic of sound.
Speaker 2 (02:43):
Here is celebrity number one.
Speaker 5 (02:47):
I'm ready to go in coach, just give me a chance.
I know there's a lot riding on it, but it's
all psychological. Just got to stay in a positive frame
of mind.

mental health. And I really appreciate that
