Speaker 3 (00:07):

Speaker 2 (00:15):
The After Party Podcast, Let's Go Got a House Full.

Speaker 4 (00:18):
There's Danielle, there's Scotti b There's Nate, there's Gandhi, There's Danielle.
There's daniel There's Danielle, and there's Scarty and Garrett. We're
just talking a little while ago about first dates and
what topics could be a little uncomfortable versus ones that
are necessary to some people, like kids and the number
of people you've had sex with, things like that, And

(00:40):
you know, it's interesting, interesting because everyone has a different
take on this an any follow up on that before
we move forward.

Speaker 1 (00:48):
I think it just all depends on what your intentions
are going into it, because some people are gonna want
to get that out of the way early. Some people aren't.
I get it. Like Nate said, right now, he's just
trying to have fun. He's not looking for a long
term relationship. So it would be weird for you to
talk about marriage on a first date.

Speaker 2 (01:02):
Absolutely, But for.

Speaker 1 (01:03):
My friend who's like, I need to get married, she
should probably say.

Speaker 4 (01:07):
That, Yeah, she has a plan. She wants to be
married before the end of the year, and that's like
four months.

Speaker 1 (01:11):
Her timeline is very stressful to me, but it's not
My life, is her life.

Speaker 5 (01:15):
That's great.

Speaker 6 (01:16):
See.

Speaker 7 (01:17):
And I know that I met someone just as twisted
as me because on our very first date that we met,
I mentioned something about road trips or whatever, and I
said I had to pee in a bottle, you know,
when I was driving with Froggy or whatever. And she's like,
that's okay. Sometimes I'll just pee in the yard if
I don't feel like going back to the house. So
I knew that this girl is perfect for me.

Speaker 3 (01:33):
That that was the moment. Okay, oh my go have
you ever been on a date where you knew it
wasn't the person even though the date was going okay,
and then all of a sudden something happens.

Speaker 1 (01:46):
Like we all, yeah, so many dates.

Speaker 3 (01:48):
I was dating this guy and I thought he was
really cute and I thought he was really nice, and
we went to the movies and then you know, we
thought about who was going to pay, and he was like, well,
lin I'll just take care of it right now. I'm
like okay, And then and later on he wanted some
candy at the concession stand, and he said to me, Hey,
you know the money you owe me for the ticket,
so could you just buy me some candy at the

(02:10):
concession stand? He was serious, yes, and that was the
And I stood there for a minute looking at him, like,
wait a minute, the money I owe you? He's like, yeah,
you know, because like we argued about who's going to pay,
and then like I paid for now, but like you know,
that was the that red flag went up so fast
and I never.

Speaker 2 (02:25):
Went out with him again.

Speaker 4 (02:27):
That's so obvious, right yeah, oh no way, And you
want to say thank you for making so obvious that
you're a piece of shit.

Speaker 6 (02:32):
Yes, did you give him the money? Though I didn't,
I think I did.

Speaker 3 (02:36):
I went and I bought a milk Dud's at the
concession stand, and they done.

Speaker 2 (02:41):
They got a milk dud You are what you eat.
He's accountable. What about you?

Speaker 1 (02:47):
Gandhy oh man, there's so many so one before the
date even happened. I think I've told you guys this.
He texted me and was like, just a heads up,
I just took some acid so it could get a
little weird. And I was like, absolutely not, absolutely not.
I'm not saying don't ever do it. Do what you
want to do, but like first date to hit me with,
like you've got about forty five minutes before it gets weird.
I'm good, So strange Probably a good thing that he

(03:11):
told me that.

Speaker 2 (03:11):
Because that was it makes you think does he just
pop ast it every night?

Speaker 6 (03:15):
Like right?

Speaker 2 (03:16):
I was like, what are you doing?

Speaker 1 (03:18):
Another one we were watching a movie that was in
no way and this was a first date, no way romantic.
It was goofy. It was remember that movie sausage Fest.

Speaker 6 (03:27):
Oh yeah, that's not romantic.

Speaker 1 (03:30):
He tried to hold my hand. I was like, ew, god,
I just met you. I don't even like holding hands
in general. But also you're trying to hold my hand
during sausage Fest. That was kind of hard. Wasn't really
a fan of that. And then another guy was on
a date with and I swear I started hallucinating while
he was talking because he was so boring. I was
staring at things on the wall. They started to move
and I was like, I gotta get out of here.

Speaker 6 (03:51):
This is terrible.

Speaker 1 (03:53):
Those were my bad ones, Oh my gosh, And I'm
sure there are many more.

Speaker 2 (03:56):
I'll just need to think about them.

Speaker 1 (03:58):
Yeah, but those weren't great.

Speaker 2 (04:00):
Could anyone say the same about you?

Speaker 4 (04:01):
Oh, I'm sure someone went out with you and you
said something and you could just see that whatever you
said just did not work well with them.

Speaker 1 (04:08):
I mean no, I think everyone been really intrigued and
fascinated by me.

Speaker 4 (04:13):
You read a bad date with Gandi get in touch
with us, Yeah, reach out.

Speaker 2 (04:18):
I was here about it. Yeah, I had. I dated
a guy who was a listener and it was a
bad idea.

Speaker 4 (04:28):
And I'm not saying all listeners are bad ideas. I
mean the guy I'm married used to listen, no idea,
but this guy was. I think you guys met him.

Speaker 1 (04:38):
What was weird about him?

Speaker 4 (04:39):
A long time ago? We had a big Z one
hundred party. Do you remember that guy?

Speaker 8 (04:44):
Well, I don't know which one you're talking about, Okay,
uh yeah, So we went on a date together and
you could just see that there was something amiss, something
was not right.

Speaker 4 (04:58):
I mean, like Jeffrey Dahmer vibes like you do, creepy,
real kind of you felt like maybe he's killed someone.

Speaker 8 (05:05):
Oh gosh no, no, but it was it was bizarre
and I can't put my finger on what it was.

Speaker 2 (05:14):
But he was not firing on all cylinders. He was not.

Speaker 6 (05:19):
I don't know, so.

Speaker 1 (05:20):
You just were like, nope, noped away out of it.

Speaker 4 (05:22):
I don't like Yeah, but have you ever been one
of those? It was not like a very very big
red sign, red flag. You just knew something was really
wrong about this person, and you don't want to be
in a like.

Speaker 2 (05:33):
A a private area with him. You want to be
in public.

Speaker 9 (05:37):
That's so creepy, flipping this conversation on its head. I
know we were talking about the tee app, and you
know girls giving reviews of guys. I would actually like
a review of my dating ability, not publicly posted. But
if the date didn't go well, or it did go well,

(06:00):
if you dated Nate call us Noero one hundred first date,
I would like a survey to come.

Speaker 2 (06:07):
Right to me and say you did this right, you
did this wrong? You did I would like.

Speaker 6 (06:12):
To know good, don't you?

Speaker 2 (06:13):
Don't You kind of wish you would. You would fail,
you would hate.

Speaker 1 (06:16):
It, you'd fight them, you'd reply.

Speaker 2 (06:19):
You would reply and say how wrong they are.

Speaker 9 (06:22):
I don't know right now if if I would like
it or I would hate it, right because I like
to think on a first date I'm a pretty great
first date.

Speaker 2 (06:30):
Oh wow, Okay, well you would like to think that
now exactly. That's my point is I don't know, I'm
so it.

Speaker 6 (06:35):
Goes downhill from there, is that?

Speaker 2 (06:37):
Right?

Speaker 3 (06:37):
A crappy third date?

Speaker 9 (06:39):
Well that's always my joke, Like, you know, you only
want one date with me because that's all the material
I have. But I kind of want to know from
the other person if if I'm worth going out with
a game?

Speaker 2 (06:52):
Do I make sense? Yeah, you do.

Speaker 4 (06:53):
But as soon as you got those reports back from
this person, you'd be like, Okay, here's why she said.

Speaker 6 (06:59):
That exactly right.

Speaker 2 (07:00):
First of all, she sucks and I don't like her.

Speaker 4 (07:03):
And then second of all, she's paranoid. She's paranoid, and
you would justify her as being an awful pers.

Speaker 9 (07:10):
Okay, well, let me ask you all that's how are
you on a first date? I know it's been like
fifteen years since you had this a long time.

Speaker 4 (07:16):
I get nervous, I get crazy. I spill red wine
on people. Okay, I do. I get nervous, especially if
I like them.

Speaker 1 (07:25):
Yeah, I'm with you.

Speaker 6 (07:27):
I'm a weirdo.

Speaker 2 (07:27):
I think I'm a weirdo on a first date.

Speaker 1 (07:29):
I'm pretty sure. Yeah, Like, if I'm actually we've talked
about this, but if I'm actually attracted to somebody, I
cannot be smooth. I can't be charming, it can't be funny.
I'm just sweat and I say weird things and it's
not good.

Speaker 6 (07:40):
I'm trying to dark of my mind.

Speaker 5 (07:44):
And all I could think about is that I did
a lot more blind dating than I did conventional dating.
So all my blind dates were just appear and it
would just be no because meaning like I would pick
them up on the request line. I used to do
the overnight shift, and they used to.

Speaker 2 (08:03):
Let's meet at a diner.

Speaker 10 (08:04):
That was a real true blind day, and you didn't
there was no such thing as social media, so I
didn't have any way to see if and vet the
properly vet them and get it given a good picture
of them.

Speaker 6 (08:13):
So I would meet them behind a dumpster of Burger key.

Speaker 4 (08:16):
So we hold on, hold on behind the dumpster at
burger Keys.

Speaker 5 (08:24):
You want to know if it's safe to actually you say, look, let's.

Speaker 6 (08:27):
Meet at this let's meet at this place at this time.

Speaker 10 (08:30):
As soon as I get off the air, and it
was like six o'clock in the morning outside of whatever,
a fast food spot. And but before you would go
in to meet them, I would meet them in the
parking lot and happened to be next to a dumpster,
whatever the case. And then I make sure, like, hi,
how you do when you talk from the window window
to window, and then you get out, get out of
the car.

Speaker 6 (08:48):
And if they look cool, then you just go in.
You have some coffee and some breakfast with them burg
king or a diner or whatever. You know, did you
ever drive.

Speaker 1 (08:55):
Away preachers meeting you at a dumpster at six am?

Speaker 6 (08:59):
I dumps There was no social media. There was.

Speaker 4 (09:05):
Someone no what is it social media have to do
anything with meetings in a dumpster?

Speaker 10 (09:09):
Because you I met him at six o'clock, seven o'clock
in the morning when I got off the.

Speaker 1 (09:12):
Air, the only thing open.

Speaker 6 (09:16):
The dumpster happened to be in the parking lot next
to the diner. You're like, you know that's where they
throw the trash and the dumpster. Guys, we got a
new app. We got a new app.

Speaker 4 (09:23):
Would you why would you want to be meetings when
in a dumpster? I mean, is that your first impression that.

Speaker 5 (09:28):
I would be I would say the parking lot but
it always happened to be next to the dumpster that
they would throw the garbage out in.

Speaker 6 (09:33):
Every every time it would be nearby. What the point
is you meet in the parking lot?

Speaker 1 (09:39):
First, we're missing the point.

Speaker 10 (09:43):
You roll down the windows, you say hi, whatever, and
then you get out, and then you that's what we did.

Speaker 6 (09:47):
It sounds like a drug deal the way it's being described, though.
You roll down your windows, your check and then you
go inside and the sun was up.

Speaker 2 (09:54):
Did you actually get in the dumpster?

Speaker 6 (09:56):
Now? Not going dumpster diving?

Speaker 5 (09:59):
I'm just telling you sometimes that's what where the meeting place.

Speaker 6 (10:02):
Was behind us, you know, the back of the park.

Speaker 2 (10:04):
You used the word dumpster in describing where to meet
you because.

Speaker 5 (10:07):
I vividly remember the one time that the parking lot
was next to the dumpster of the diner that we
were at.

Speaker 6 (10:12):
Yes, I remember that wow and we went out.

Speaker 2 (10:15):
We had we had a great Gandhi, Danielle.

Speaker 4 (10:17):
If someone said to you on your first date, meet
me at the dumpster, what would you think?

Speaker 3 (10:21):
I would say?

Speaker 1 (10:22):
Murderer or he's going to do something now right like
preemptively calm one.

Speaker 6 (10:27):
I was to lose because I was the one that
was on the radio. They knew me, but I didn't
know them.

Speaker 7 (10:33):
Hand.

Speaker 6 (10:34):
The radio doesn't mean you're not a bad person. What
they had the upper hand? I did you.

Speaker 2 (10:38):
If you're on the radio, you've already lost.

Speaker 5 (10:40):
What are you talking about to say a lot of
those failed, but because they were.

Speaker 1 (10:45):
You don't say shocking information.

Speaker 6 (10:47):
Wow, people tell me that there was someone who they weren't.

Speaker 1 (10:52):
Somewhere somebody's having the reverse of this conversation and they're
telling the story about how a radio DJ told them
to meet him at a dumpster and that was the deal breaker.

Speaker 6 (11:02):
Yeah, it was my.

Speaker 2 (11:02):
Favorite line from Goddy what if it's six seven?

Speaker 5 (11:04):
That?

Speaker 6 (11:05):
Yeah, what's this one? Girl out of her car? She
was like an Icebern.

Speaker 5 (11:09):
I don't even like God because she was already dead.

Speaker 2 (11:15):
All right, Well, I think we should grab all side
and learned a lot today. I don't really know where
to go here.

Speaker 6 (11:21):
