Speaker 4 (04:53):
It's great. You're fine. Yeah, you don't forget to stop

so we'll talk about it. Okay, lots of things happening
in the food world. Okay, Daniel, do you feel a

You know, I think I'm okay.

Speaker 7 (05:40):
It is exciting. We're all a part of a club.

Speaker 4 (05:42):
We are the Titanium Club. If you do fall out
of a tree, breaking on, let.

Speaker 6 (05:45):
Me know, I doesn't have a value.

Speaker 4 (05:47):
We're gonna bring you into the folds. All right, Let's
get into the three things we need to know from Gandhi, Gandhi,
what is going on?

Speaker 7 (05:53):
A lot is going on? Flags are being flown at
half staff in Pennsylvania to honor three police officers that
were killed in a shoe yesterday. York County authorities said
the officers were reportedly trying to serve a warrant when
someone opened fire. While early reports indicated that the gunman
was killed by a self inflicted gunshot wound, officials say
he was actually killed by police. The FBI is assisting
with the investigation. Meanwhile, elsewhere in Pennsylvania, a suspect is

(06:17):
in custody and connection to an incident considered to be
an act of terror against the FBI. Authorities say the
suspect rammed a car into the FBI security gate at
the Pittsburgh Bureau Wednesday morning. He then allegedly threw an
American flag over the gate and attempted to flee the scene.
No injuries were reported there. Everybody is talking about this.
You'll hear it, I'm sure all day. Disney's ABC has

(06:37):
announced it's taking Jimmy Kimmel's show off the air for
the foreseeable future, following comments about the events surrounding the
killing of Charlie Kirk. The announcement came after Nextstar Media Group,
a major operator of ABC affiliated stations, said in a
statement that it strongly objects to recent comments. The Texas
based company said earlier it would replace the show with
another programming with other programming in its twenty eight ABC

(06:58):
affiliated markets. And finally, a new AI tool called Delphi
two M can predict a person's risk for over a
thousand diseases by analyzing medical history, lifestyle, age, and sex.
Developed using algorithms similar to language models. The system identifies
patterns and past health events to forecast potential future outcomes.

(07:18):
According to a study published by a publication called Nature,
I think this will be fascinating. One thousand diseases it
can potentially don't get.

Speaker 4 (07:26):
It near Danielle or me.

Speaker 6 (07:27):
Why because we have everything.

Speaker 4 (07:29):
We have everything, and that used to a thousand diseases.
We have more that they can't even keep up with us.

Speaker 7 (07:33):
Okay, okay, cool, Better not to know sometimes.

Speaker 4 (07:38):
Okay, you guys ready for your time. Let's go.

Speaker 12 (07:43):
Waking up taking to know so many things, Elvis Duran
in the Morning Show.

Speaker 13 (07:51):
All right, why am I reaching for the lead bottle? Well,
yesterday's leg day is catching up with me today. With
just one pill, a leap provides up to twelve hours
of body pain relief to keep me moving. So used
as directed.

Speaker 4 (08:09):
Wake up, Wake up.

Speaker 1 (08:11):

they call them there? Universal, they're the.

Speaker 6 (08:27):
Houses, I mean the houses. They're Yeah, everything's different, themes, well.

Speaker 4 (08:32):
But you wouldn't experiences, haunted experiences whatever. The houses, they're
so great, and there's lots of them. I love weaving
in and out of all those houses. Some are just
some are scarier to some than others. Because we all
have a different thing that scares us in our own way, right, yes,
of course, and Froggy gets scared just thinking about haunted houses.

(08:56):
I don't like it. So Universal Orlando Halloween Horror Knights.
We're huge fans. We go every year. If we can,
we want to send you and three guests to experience
this event. Enjoy Universal Orlando Resorts, four incredible theme parks. Yes,

Let me look at the manifest. Who's flying on this

(09:39):

I love it.

Speaker 4 (09:46):
We can invite himself. He's a member of the family.

Speaker 7 (09:48):
See mate, when you say that, you fire the first
shots and then whatever he says to you.

Speaker 4 (09:52):

a pot cast on our network that is I believe
is going to it's going to catch on fire. Okay,
it's great. Have you seen the previews at all?

Speaker 6 (10:08):
Yes?

Speaker 7 (10:09):
And he looks great.

Speaker 4 (10:10):
He looks great, and he's so interested in what he's
talking about. I'm gonna let him describe it to you.
Coyle MacLaughlin will be here in a couple of hours.
So there you go. Busy day, Lee shreg or Kyle McLaughlin.
What did we do to deserve to deserve all this fun?

Speaker 7 (10:23):
Is there any chance that there paths cross?

Speaker 1 (10:25):
Oh?

Speaker 4 (10:26):
He apparently Lee knows Kyle. Oh he does. He says,
we're old friends. Okay, we'll find out now. Well, you
know our friend David Cat says, I know Kyle's wife.
Everyone's like two degrees of separation from Kyle. Anyway, Coyle
MacLaughlin coming in. It's going to be a spiritual conversation.
Producer Sam Hi, who has titanium in.

Speaker 7 (10:45):
Her I don't I feel so left out?

Speaker 4 (10:48):
Oh? I thought, I thought that's why you left the
room for a moment. To go. Insert some titaniums. Who
are you doing your horoscopes with? You know who I'm
doing them with.

Speaker 7 (10:57):
It's food News Thursday.

Speaker 9 (10:58):
Let's go, here we go. If you celebrate a birthday today,
Happy birthday. You're also celebrating the James Marsden, Jada Pinkett Smith,
Patrick Schwarzeninggger, Billy Aigner, and Jason Sidekis Virgo. Careful whom
you vent to? Not everyone deserves front row seats to
your inner world. Your day's a five Libra.

Speaker 5 (11:15):
A dream you had last night might actually be a message,
so write it down before you forget.

Speaker 9 (11:20):
Your day's an eight Scorpio. You may get a gut
punch of jealousy. Use it as a compass, not a
reason to be a critic. Your day's a six.

Speaker 5 (11:27):
Hey, Sagittarius, you are not behind. You're just not in
the race they think you're in. You're building something better.
Your day's a nine Capricorn. A new connection could turn
into something big. Keep that conversation going. Your day's an eight. Ooh, Aquarius,
you're feeling a little extra intuitive. Trust that first impression,
it's the right one. Your day's a nine Pisces.

Speaker 4 (11:46):
Listen closely. The advice you need will come from an
unlikely source. Your day's a six.

Speaker 5 (11:51):
Aries organization brings peace, so tidy up around you and
you'll feel the shift.

Speaker 4 (11:55):
Your day's a ten Taurus. Tie up loose ends before
the weekend. It'll make Monday a heck of a lot easier.

Speaker 5 (12:01):
Your day's a seven, Hey, Gemini, A powerful conversation will
deepen a bond, So get ready to be honest with yourself.

Speaker 9 (12:07):
Your day's a nine Cancer. Our friendship might shift in
a subtle way today. It doesn't mean it's ending, it's
just evolving. Your day's a six.

Speaker 5 (12:14):
And finally, Leo, the next time you feel that impulse
to apologize for taking up space, don't. You're not a
burden your presence. Your day's a seven. And those are
your Thursday morning horoscopes.

Speaker 4 (12:24):
I'm just reading my favorite thing to read every morning.
It's called Morning Brew. Oh yeah, here's how they say
what today is about. Fire up the grill. It's National
cheeseburger Day. Whether you prefer smash or regular today, let
us not be divided down patty lines. You see, I

(12:46):
prefer smash burgers. I like it when they smash the
hell out of them and they melt the cheese and
the onions in there. Oh yes, I like it like
that me too. It's a greasy mess, but I like
it like that.

Speaker 5 (12:56):
I don't.

Speaker 4 (12:57):
I'm not into big thick burgers anymore. What about you, guys?

Speaker 6 (12:59):
I agree they can smash it like that and put
the onions in there, and oh yeah, bring it on,
you know.

Speaker 4 (13:05):
And I think I've had one before. It's called and
look it up, the Oklahoma Burger. I believe that is
the smash that I prefer the most.

Speaker 7 (13:12):
Okay, what's so special about it?

Speaker 4 (13:14):
I'll read it up. Read it up?

Speaker 7 (13:16):
So I thought you knew?

Speaker 4 (13:17):
Well, okay, So they smash it and they put the
onions on the grill below the burger, so the the
grease from the burger actually melts and cooks the onions.
Then you turn it over and then you put the
cheese on it and melt it under a hubcap or something.
What did it say?

Speaker 7 (13:29):
That sounds amazing. It doesn't give me the exact It
just says the hit that used to be called the
Depression burger.

Speaker 4 (13:35):
Oh, there you go.

Speaker 7 (13:35):
It's invented in the twenties at a Hamburger in I
was there Oh wow, okay, I wish burger cheeseburgers.

Speaker 4 (13:42):
It's National Cheeseburger Day.

Speaker 6 (13:43):
Yeah, so nice.

Speaker 4 (13:44):
I like to put a couple of tortilla chips on
there to give it a little crunch.

Speaker 7 (13:48):
Oh you were right exactly about the preparation of it all.

Speaker 4 (13:50):
I was, yes, what's it saying?

Speaker 2 (13:52):
It is this?

Speaker 7 (13:52):
First you prep the onions, heat the griddle, smash the top,
and then once it's smashed in a crust forms, you
flip the burger and add a slice of American cheese,
place the buns on top of the cheese to steam
and absorb the savory onion scent.

Speaker 4 (14:04):
See when you put those onions on the grill first
and get them going, then you cram that burger on
top of it, they own just become embedded in the burgers.
There you go. So that said, how many people listening
are going to eat cheeseburgers today on National Cheeseburger Day? Danielle,
what do you have coming up?

Speaker 1 (14:23):
At Sharon?

Speaker 6 (14:24):
He was going to go to space and he said, yeah,
I don't think so, and we're getting the summer. I
turned pretty movie.

Speaker 4 (14:30):
I know that was a big old announcement. I know,
have you decided which team you're on. No, you need
to make that decision.

Speaker 12 (14:36):
On Elvis Duran, he just keeps opening his mouth and
the Morning Show. This is Elvis Duran and the Morning Show.

Speaker 4 (14:49):
Hey, we're so excited about Kyle McLaughlan coming in. I
mentioned this earlier. You've seen him in so many things.
He's been in so many great shows, movies, et cetera.
And now he's got a podcast on our our podcast
network and he's going to be in to talk about
it later. And he's so excited about this podcast. He's
learning about all things new. He's expanding his his knowledge.

(15:12):
He's having people younger than him try to talk him
into understanding the way they're living.

Speaker 6 (15:18):
That's nice.

Speaker 4 (15:19):
They're dressing him up. They're taking him out of the situations.
It's like a weekend at Bernie's. But he's alive.

Speaker 7 (15:26):
Tell like he's an adult. They're dressing him up, they're taking
place he is adults. They're putting him on shells.

Speaker 4 (15:32):
I mean, gosh, where do you start. I mean, he's
been in so many incredible shows.

Speaker 6 (15:36):
I loved him in Desperate Housewives.

Speaker 4 (15:38):
Right, Desperate Housewives, Sex and the City, and I mean
way back North Northern Light, Northern from in Alaska. It
was in Alaska. They were in Alaska. What twin Pigs?
He was in Twin Peaks huge as you can tell.
You know me, my brain is not firing anyway. But

(15:59):
now he's he's in our family and he is more
excited about his podcast than anyone else, which is just
kind of fabulous.

Speaker 6 (16:06):
We were a hot dog in something. He had a
hot dog costume at.

Speaker 4 (16:10):
Right down, right down, question for Kyle mcloch.

Speaker 11 (16:13):
But he also had pool sex with Elizabeth Berkeley and showgirls.

Speaker 4 (16:18):
It wouldn't work like that, but anyway, so he's coming in.
You guys had pool sex with Elizabeth Berkley dressed up
like a hot dog. We think, So he's coming in.
I'm so excited. Uh, daniel you ready to go?

Speaker 1 (16:30):
Sure?

Speaker 4 (16:30):
All right? Let me give you some music here, Danielle,
All right, where do you want to start?

Speaker 6 (16:33):
Well, let's start with the Summurai turned pretty. Amazon Prime
surprise viewers by revealing a movie is on the way
during the finale. The plot of the movie we don't know,
it's under wraps. The author of the books said, there
is another big milestone left in Belly's journey. I thought
only a movie could give it its proper due. Of course,
last night we found out who she chose. Jeremiah Conrad.

(16:55):
Who will it be? Not going to say, I know,
but I'm not going to say because I don't want
to piss anybody off. So let's move on a let's
talk about at Sharon revealing in a BBC Radio two
interview that he had been offered to perform the first
gig in space. He was too scared to go. He
said that he's gonna wait until spaceflight is an everyday occurrence.

(17:16):
He goes, I don't want to be a guinea pig.
I want to go to space when it's like flying
to France. Yeah, like forty thousand people have done it
and you can book it online. Totally get it. Serena
Carpenter will be the special guest when Disney Plus reboots
The Muppet Show. The entire Muppet Gang will fear the
will fill the theater, cover the Frog, Ms, Piggy, Fozzy Bear, Gonzo.
You know they're all gonna be there. So all five

(17:38):
seasons of the original Muppet Show now stream on Disney
Plus if you want to check it out. Wicked Part
two and the soundtrack will arrive on the same day,
November twenty first. The Wicked for Good soundtrack features three
songs not on the Broadway album, including two new songs,
The Girl in the Bubble, which Ariana Grande and Cynthia
Arrivo sing together and I think actually actually no Girl

(18:03):
in the Bubble is Ariana Grande and Alphabus sings No
Place Like Home. I think so that they have two
separate songs. But it's gonna be good. We can't wait,
and Camp Rock three it's coming. We knew it was
gonna come. Jonas brothers are involved and Demi Lovado is
executive producer. Now, if she returns in her role of Mitchie,
it will only be a brief appearance. It's not gonna

(18:23):
be for the entire movie. Just in case you're wondering.

Speaker 4 (18:26):
Yes, Yeahkli maclaughlan was in Twin Peaks, but I got
that mixed up with Northern Exposure.

Speaker 6 (18:30):
Okay.

Speaker 4 (18:32):
He was also though, in one of my favorite most
incredible movies called Blue Velvet. Did you see Blue Velvet?
Oh my god?

Speaker 7 (18:45):
He was in Blink twice too. That just came out.
That was a great movie.

Speaker 4 (18:48):
Yep, love that too.

Speaker 7 (18:49):
Okay.

Speaker 6 (18:50):
Mary Lompez has been named the host of the Daytime
Emmy Awards schedule for Friday, October seventeenth. The only way
to watch the Daytime Emmys is to stream it on
the Emmys App, and a Hallmark Channels count down to
Christmas is on the way. It returns October seventeenth. It
kicks off nearly three months of festive programming, and it
opens with the premiere of Missiletoe Murders and then you'll

(19:13):
get a season two premiere of that on November seventh.
Everybody loves Missiletoe Murders. It's a big thing on the
Hallmark Channel.

Speaker 4 (19:20):
Just when everyone a lot.

Speaker 6 (19:22):
Of people they don't okay us crazy Christmas movie people do.
The first of twenty four new holiday movies is coming
at you October eighteenth, with all kinds of cool films,
and of course you get new ones every Saturday and
Sunday through Christmas.

Speaker 4 (19:34):
I wonder if com McLaughlin has been on any Hallmark
Christmas movie.

Speaker 6 (19:38):
Noah, we gotta ask him.

Speaker 4 (19:39):
I mean he was in The Flenchtones.

Speaker 7 (19:42):
I love that movie. Watch it all film.

Speaker 6 (19:45):
And if you tried to watch the new episode of
South Park last night, you couldn't because they try so
hard to be on top of current events that they
do everything last minute. Well apparently they didn't get it
done in time, and so they're saying that this one's
on the the creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone, and
they say we'll be back next Wednesday with a brand
new episode. So what are we watching football tonight? The

(20:08):
Bills and the Dolphins. You also have episode five of
The Peacemaker, the series premiere of Black Rabbit on Netflix.
That's the jew Law. One wait is that that's tonight?
We're all look well probably right now, I'm a god.
I know we can't watch that. We can't wait to
watch that too. In my house and we're watching something
good Girls. It's from twenty eighteen. There's four seasons. It
has a Christina Hendrix in it. It's really funny. It's

(20:30):
about these moms that need money and they figure out
a way to get it. It goes a little kywire,
but it's very funny. And that's my Daniel report.

Speaker 4 (20:37):
So Gandhi tells me today is National First Love Day. Yes,
think about that for a minute, your first love? Oh yeah,
you're thinking about them? No, see, I don't know if
it was my first love or first obsession? Oh, I
don't know now that think about it. That wasn't love.
I was obsessed at the time.

Speaker 7 (20:54):
It felt like love. Did you say I love you?

Speaker 4 (20:57):
Yeah? But I shouldn't have.

Speaker 7 (21:00):
To go back and edit.

Speaker 4 (21:01):
I want to call them say I didn't mean to
say I love you because I didn't. I was obsessed
with you.

Speaker 7 (21:05):
No, I know what love is and it wasn't you.

Speaker 4 (21:06):
I wanted to see you naked. I didn't want to
love you. So the first love thing, so, so think
about it. Yeah, separate obsessed from love? Your first love?
Are you thinking about them? I can't. I can't even
think of who that was.

Speaker 7 (21:22):
I think I was both. I was obsessed and in love.

Speaker 4 (21:24):
I don't think I've ever loved anyone. Don't anybody but
yourself that one? Anyway? Yeah, first love, I can think
about who it is. I guess National First Love Day
and National Cheeseburger Day.

Speaker 7 (21:37):
What if your first love was a cheeseburger?

Speaker 4 (21:38):
Probably? Why not? Scary? Can you think of your first love?
Does it have to be reciprocal? Because no at all? Well, yeah,
you know that's the obsession thing. I just should we
say it has to be reciprocated.

Speaker 7 (21:55):
I didn't look into the rules of the day.

Speaker 8 (21:57):
I don't know.

Speaker 14 (21:58):
I remember my first love, but then years before that,
I was obsessed with somebody who was not obsessed with
me back.

Speaker 4 (22:05):
Okay, all right, think it through. It's National First Love Day.
Let's just leave that right there.

Speaker 1 (22:09):
I want to hear something slightly more unhinged than the
Morning Show. I'll kill you E's after party.

Speaker 4 (22:17):
What is the direction of today's podcast?

Speaker 12 (22:19):
A podcast we record daily when the morning show is finished.
Listen on the iHeart Radio app or wherever you get
your podcasts.

Speaker 4 (22:25):
That's an after party.

Speaker 1 (22:27):
Mister Rain in the Morning Show.

Speaker 4 (22:29):
On nine to eleven, we vowed to never forget. Help
America keep that promise. Donate eleven dollars a month to
the Tunnel to Towers Foundation at T two t dot org.
That's T the number two T dot org.

Speaker 1 (22:50):
This is Elvis Duran in the Morning Show.

Speaker 13 (22:53):
You know.

Speaker 4 (22:55):
Today is September eighteen, right, jingle Ball season is going
to be here before you know it. I mean, we're
we're rolling into iHeartRadio Music Festival this weekend that kicks
off the end of the year, which you know pisses
me off beyond belief. I walked in today and Jim

(23:16):
Kerr from down the hall, he said, you're not wearing
your summer outfit today. He said, you're the one saying
you don't want summer to end. He said, you're not
wearing your floral shirt. And I said, what do you mean,
I'm not I'm not ready to let loose of summer.
He said, you look sort of autumnal today. You're wearing
autumn clothes. Am I automa?

Speaker 1 (23:37):
I don't know.

Speaker 7 (23:37):
I think that's kind of summary.

Speaker 3 (23:39):
Is it?

Speaker 7 (23:39):
The colors? It's like a like close to the Jamaican flag.

Speaker 4 (23:42):
Oh okay, good, I think you can do either with
that shirt. Okay, thanks. I don't want summer to end.
I'm just loving it. Actually, it was raining at my
house yesterday. I grilled in the rain.

Speaker 7 (23:54):
How does that affect the food?

Speaker 4 (23:56):
It's fine, you just close the lid. You're good. So
not right to let it loose.

Speaker 6 (24:00):
I gotta say I'm getting very excited about boots season
because I'm noticing that now, like a lot of those
scrunched up like boots like over the knee or under
the knee whatever, with skinny jeans. Again, I was like,
what is going on out there.

Speaker 4 (24:14):
Kinny jeans, you're back again.

Speaker 6 (24:15):
Well, if you're gonna wear those boots, you're gonna have
to wear skinny jeans. Yeah, he's shoving those big ass
jeans in those boots.

Speaker 4 (24:20):
Yeah, you can't do mom jeans with those.

Speaker 6 (24:21):
I'm so excited.

Speaker 7 (24:22):
I see it. I see the big jeans with the boots.

Speaker 3 (24:25):
Right.

Speaker 7 (24:25):
I like the skinny jeans with Yeah.

Speaker 4 (24:27):
Much better. All right, I'm glad we have this conversation
more put together. So jingle ball season here it comes.
We're announcing jingle balls in our our favorite jingle ball
superstars next Friday, a week from Friday. So get ready.
I think we pretty I found out who's coming to
our Z one hundred jingle Ball here in New York,

(24:47):
and a Fana who's coming to our Y one hundred
point seven jingle Bawl Miami, And a Fanna who's coming
to Q one or two jingle Bawl Philadelphia. Those are
the only three that matter. The other ones, the other
ones are poppy cock.

Speaker 1 (24:59):
You say that every year.

Speaker 4 (25:01):
If it's not our jingle ball, just it doesn't exist.
I don't care hear about. It doesn't matter to me.
La has a jingle ball every year. We beat them.

Speaker 2 (25:12):
We do.

Speaker 4 (25:13):
No, it's not funny.

Speaker 13 (25:14):
We do.

Speaker 4 (25:15):
I'm not saying to be funny. We beat them every year.
I spit upon them. Pooh pooh, La pooh. Why do
you have used to live in l A, Nate, Yeah,
you're spinning on me, not you. You spit on LA.
You're so glad you don't live there.

Speaker 11 (25:32):
Yeah, you know you either I was talking to somebody
about this the other day. You either realize you're a
person that is meant to be there or you're not.
And I was definitely not an LA person, hands down.

Speaker 4 (25:43):
I get it. Look, I've never lived there. I will
be honest. Every time I visit LA, I have a
great time. Oh I love to visit La, don't get
me wrong, But I can't live there like you. You
grew up in Texas, but you were not a Texas person.
Uh yeah, I still have Texas qualities. Yeah, I mean
you grit your teeth occasionally, my teeth and I wear boots.

(26:07):
I love Mexican food. I grew up with the best
text mex hence the name tex mex But could you
live there now and barbecue?

Speaker 2 (26:14):
Uh?

Speaker 4 (26:15):
I could? Absolutely? Texas is beautiful. I love Texas, but
I've lived in I've been. I'm a New Yorker now,
even though New York drives be insane. This morning I
went to get in the car to come to work.
There's a guy with a shovel walking up and down
the sidewalk but hitting cars with it. I wanted to
go up to hey, buddy, what are you doing? Then
I remembered he had a shovel.

Speaker 6 (26:37):
He's getting ready for Halloween. He's got his shovel.

Speaker 4 (26:41):
No, not not on mice treet, not in Tribeca. What's
that scary?

Speaker 2 (26:45):
No?

Speaker 14 (26:46):
I often wonder what kind of person I would have
turned out to be had I grown up in Los
Angeles or the West Coast.

Speaker 4 (26:51):
Probably not the same as the way you are. You know,
you know we have moxie. We got character here on
the East Coast. You see what do they not have there? Okay,
describe an LA person. Oh hi, my people. Your people
will do lunch, fake air kiss, fake air kiss. Everyone's fake.
At least you know where you stand with an East
Coast person.

Speaker 6 (27:12):
Well you know, okay, that's true.

Speaker 4 (27:14):
I don't know what's a fake thing, but you do
know where you stand with the New York more than
an last you gandhi, I think so.

Speaker 7 (27:22):
I always think about that division of the country into forest,
where it says the top right acts nice is nice
or no axe mean is nice. The bottom right, which
would be the southeast, acts nice, is mean. The bottom left,
which is the southwest, acts mean is mean. Top left,
so the northwest acts nice, no axe mean is nice.

Speaker 4 (27:44):
There you go.

Speaker 7 (27:45):
Yeah, that's how they split it up.

Speaker 4 (27:46):
So we are acting mean mean and we are nice
mean acting nice people. So I mean scary. How would
you look different if you lived in La Versus, New York. Well,
I think I'd be more relaxed, with blonde hair and
in better shape. You would actually get outside to be active.
You could always you always moved to Florida. There's a

(28:08):
lot of active people there.

Speaker 3 (28:10):
You know what.

Speaker 4 (28:10):
They look great, They look great, they look great. They
had skin. People in Miami have skinned.

Speaker 7 (28:19):
I'm trying to picture Scary as a blonde. I can't
even Oh boy, I love to see.

Speaker 4 (28:24):
Come on ken. But I will tell you this, there
is just so many beautiful places across America that we
we have become, we've become in love with as well.
You know, I was really disappointed. I thought this year
we were going to the Iowa State Fair. Didn't go.
You know, I always loved visiting Iowa.

Speaker 6 (28:43):
People in Iowa.

Speaker 4 (28:43):
We have a great time. In Wisconsin. We have a
great time all across the count of Iowa. Iowa, wiscontent
all this time.

Speaker 6 (28:48):
I love Nashville too, Nashville. I love it so much.

Speaker 4 (28:51):
I'll tell you what. So, wherever you're listening to us today,
except for Los Angeles, we love you.

Speaker 1 (29:00):
Hey, this is lady. You're listening to the Elvis Duran
and the Morning Show. This is Elvis Duran and the
Morning Show.

Speaker 4 (29:09):
Okay, So my guy Alex he had to have a coldonoscopy. Yeah,
and that was on Tuesday. He prepped Monday. Boy, that
was a day. He had it Tuesday. And he's been
having some gas issues and he says he's willing to
talk about them because Gandhi may have a cure. Hi,

(29:31):
good morning, Good morning. Hello, you do sound a little gassy?
I still got cramps? Are you cramping? I'm cramping or
something's going on? Well, you know, they say you may
have some gassy cramping for this is a gross conversations.
Grassy camping, right, Yes, gassy cramping for several days. Oh boy, okay, well,

(29:58):
and you're going out golfing today, so you're gonna be
out there putin all over the place. Oh, it's not
gonna be good. At least you're outside, yeah right, yeah,
at least you're not at the zoo with all the
animals watching them, because you know, animals love that. They
love that odor. They do they do. Don't you have
a dog? You know what I'm talking about? Froggie dogs?
If you, if you, if you have win cut wind,

(30:20):
they they go for it. They like it. Yeah, I
know they're so gross, they're so cuddlys. So anyway, so
Gandhi may have a solution for you. Now you have
to open your mind a little bit. Okay, all right,
please tell me, okay.

Speaker 7 (30:34):
Alex, do you do yoga at all? Because I got
some poses for you.

Speaker 4 (30:39):
No, I don't, I'm okay, I will.

Speaker 7 (30:41):
I will send you the diagram to how you do this.
But these are specifically wind relieving poses, like they're meant
to make you blow one.

Speaker 4 (30:50):
Could I do it on the golf course? You could
do it right there on the golf course. You should
go down into a sand trap and do your you're
gas reducing yoga poses. Yes, we can actually as scary
to give us an example here in the room. Will

Speaker 2 (31:07):

Speaker 4 (31:08):
Will you show us here in the room how you
do the gas reducing yoga poses. Okay, look, he has
his hands on his hips, ready to go.

Speaker 7 (31:17):
You're gonna you're gonna need a little more space than
that and the floor.

Speaker 4 (31:20):
You need to go to the floor.

Speaker 7 (31:21):
Yeah, you should come over here.

Speaker 4 (31:23):
Take your headphones. All right. He's gonna show us here
in the room. Okay, okay, we're going to use words
to paint the picture for you. Alex Is she's convinced.
And what's the headline for this?

Speaker 7 (31:35):
It's like, oh, the headline says, hold on.

Speaker 4 (31:39):
It's great. She thought of you when she read this headline.

Speaker 7 (31:41):
I did how to make yourself fart?

Speaker 4 (31:43):
Okay, yoga post.

Speaker 6 (31:47):
It's very close to me. If he's gonna fart, could
he move away?

Speaker 2 (31:49):
He may?

Speaker 4 (31:50):
This may induce yes. All right, So hold on, Alex.

while you are doing the sit up, you're gonna bring
your knees to your chest.

Speaker 4 (32:13):
Okay, here we get He's in and out from your
chest down to the floor.

Speaker 7 (32:16):
He's down the floor, getting on the floor, Alex.

Speaker 4 (32:19):
He's in sit up positions.

Speaker 6 (32:20):
All right, Please don't faright near.

Speaker 4 (32:21):
Me, now bring Okay, he's bringing his knees to his chest.

Speaker 1 (32:25):
You can't do it.

Speaker 7 (32:28):
Hold your knees, hold the tops of your.

Speaker 4 (32:29):
Knees, Daddy the hell, Hold on, Alex, move your knees in.
H Do you feel gas coming out?

Speaker 13 (32:41):
Now?

Speaker 7 (32:41):
Now release and pull them back in again.

Speaker 4 (32:43):
It's like up release no rock.

Speaker 6 (32:46):
He doesn't know he can't release him.

Speaker 7 (32:48):
Pull them this.

Speaker 6 (32:48):
There's enough energy.

Speaker 7 (32:49):
Are you okay?

Speaker 4 (32:50):
Scary? Scary guys, Hold on, scary. You have to let
let your knees down and bring them back. He's going
to hurt himself. Bring him back. Now do that several times.
Do you feel like that? Do you understand how that

come out. Okay, had he had gas? Alright, give you
another this is great.

Speaker 6 (33:10):

but for our entire audience.

Speaker 7 (33:16):
Scary, don't get up all right?

Speaker 4 (33:18):
Oh my god, I can feel the guess coming out
of Alex already.

Speaker 7 (33:20):
All right, it's called balistana. This is the child's post.
So you're gonna put your knees on the floor, extend
your arms all the way.

Speaker 4 (33:27):

your knees on the fo.

Speaker 4 (33:41):
Your knees on your knees like daddy Tacha.

Speaker 7 (33:44):

so that your arms are on the ground. H Okay,
lean down and.

Speaker 4 (33:50):
Arch your back archier back, Yeah like it? Like now,

Speaker 8 (33:58):
Yeah.

Speaker 6 (33:58):
Okay, your butt's too close to me.

Speaker 4 (34:00):
Cracks coming out. An I've never seen a butt crack
like that. Do you feel how that could get the
gas to come out?

Speaker 3 (34:09):
Gas?

Speaker 4 (34:09):
I could see how it would just right out. It's
right on top of me.

Speaker 6 (34:14):
That's fantastic.

Speaker 7 (34:15):
Can we do one more because there's a good one.

Speaker 4 (34:17):
Yeah? Okay, do you have a tail that was removed?

Speaker 2 (34:20):
What is that?

Speaker 6 (34:20):
I would just like you to know Scary needs a
nap after this. Sorry, you have business.

Speaker 7 (34:26):
This is my favorite Scary.

Speaker 4 (34:28):
Uh it looks like where your cocksix is located, you
had there's an incision at the top of your crack.
Did you have a tail removed? Okay? Okay? What's the
last post for alt Alex? Are you still there? Understand
we're doing this for you? Okay, okay, I'm taking notes
for the golf course.

Speaker 7 (34:46):

good luck on. You can bend a lot, you can?

Speaker 1 (35:05):
You can a little gravel.

Aren't you happy you married me six years ago?

Speaker 3 (36:10):
Oh?

Speaker 2 (36:11):
You had to talk about this on the radio.

Speaker 1 (36:13):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (36:14):
When I first met Alex, he's like, do not do
not talk about me on the radio. People at work
here it okay? And now you look at you. You're shining.
You're a shining bright star. Oh yeah all right, so,

Speaker 7 (37:08):
Have this just in yes, gandhi, Well, I just know
I Alex, I wish you well with the yoga poses.
I think you'll be able to do it. But this
has raised some concern for me. With scary He couldn't
even bend his leg to touch the toey.

Speaker 4 (37:21):
The happy baby was not happy.

Speaker 7 (37:22):
Stretch out.

Speaker 4 (37:23):
What's that, Alex? Well, I could bite my toenails, So
Alex can actually produce it. He can't bite his left foot,
his right foot. He can actually clip his own toenails
with his teeth. Are you serious? Absolutely? You can put
your foot in your mouth. Yes, I can't want.

Speaker 7 (37:38):
To talent other flexible things that he's.

Speaker 4 (37:41):
Able to do. What else, No, he hasn't done that
since high school. If you follow him, he following him
on only fans, maybe he can get it done. I
wonder you did to leave the house for years. All right,
I love you. Have a great day on the golf course. Okay,
all right, bye bye, There you go, Alex six years

(38:02):
We got married six years ago. Is he double jointed?
I don't know what he is. He's some odd quirk
of nature. Do you have the new Julia Michael song?
Oh my god? Okay, so you know we love Julia Michaels.
She's been coming here for years to see us, and
then she didn't come in for a while because but
she was writing music, huge, huge hits for so many people.

(38:25):
And then remember she came in a couple of months
ago and she said, I'm ready to write for me.
And she's come out with some amazing music. I got
a new song. As a matter of fact, I don't
think it's even being released till tomorrow. I mean tomorrow,
Julia Michaels will get into these poses and she will
release it. Wow, I'm gonna play it for you. Where
is it? It's in two We're releasing a lot today. Okay,

(38:47):
this is I've never heard it before. Julia Michael's new song.
It's being released tomorrow, and who said we could play
it early. Julian Michael said, we could play it early.
It's called No Heartbreaks. Thank you, Julia fabulous. We're gonna
hear a lot a lot from her in that song
in the future. Oh wow. Today, our friend Lee Schreger

(39:08):
coming in to talk about the New York City Wine
Food Festival and our big event. We need some karaoke superstardom.
We got the superstar chefs lined up and the bartenders.
Now we need you on stage. Will tell you how
to get in and on the stage to perform here
in New York City. Let's see. Also, Kyle mclaughlan's coming in.
You've seen him in so many movies, many, so many
shows for so many years, and now he's come to

(39:31):
us with his podcast, Our Illvistrained Morning Show podcast Network.
I changed the name a little bit, but that's actually it. Well,
it's almost trending network. He's a part of it, and
his podcast is amazing, and he's so excited about it.
He's gonna be on in a few minutes tomorrow. Cardi B.
Cardi B stopping by tomorrow, so excited about this so

(39:56):
much to talk to Cardi B I just want to
talk to her about how about you tell ove her.

Speaker 7 (39:59):
That's it still appreciate that, I hope.

Speaker 4 (40:01):
So anyway, I'll let's get into the three things we
need to know, Gandhi, what's going on all right?

Speaker 7 (40:06):
Sadly, three Pennsylvania police officers were killed yesterday while reportedly
trying to serve a warrant. A suspect opened fire, killing
three officers, and while early reports stated that the gunman
died by a self inflicted gunshot wound, officials said that
he was actually killed by police. Flags are being flown
at half staff to honor them, and the FBI is
assisting in this investigation. FCC Chairman Brendan Carr had reportedly

(40:30):
threatened action against ABC after late night host Jimmy Kimmel
commented on the political affiliation of Charlie Kirk's suspected shooter.
ABC's Jimmy Kimmel Live was taken off the air indefinitely
because of the comment. Earlier in the day, Car appeared
on a conservative podcast and called on companies to take
action against Kimmel. He also said it was past time
that a lot of these licensed broadcasters themselves pushed back

(40:51):
on comcasts, and Disney, which owns ABC. Just a few
hours later, Next Star, which operates dozens of ABC affiliates,
said it would no longer broadcast Jimmy Kimmel's show. And finally,
a woman in Virginia has done the unthinkable. A lot
of people say they would do this, but would you
actually what you do? She donated her entire lottery winnings
to charity. Her name is Carrie Edwards of Chesterfield County.

(41:12):
She recently won one hundred and fifty thousand dollars prize
from the Virginia Lottery. After taxes, it's about thirty six
thousand dollars, and she said, take it all. She gave
it to three different organizations.

Speaker 4 (41:20):
She said.

Speaker 7 (41:21):
She's giving the money to the Association for Frontal Frontal
Temporal Degeneration, Shalom Farms, and the Navy Marine Corps Relief Society. Wow,
she says, and all of it she just take it away.
She said all those organizations are close to her heart,
and since she's been so blessed, she wants to bless others.
She said. She also used chatchypt to pick some suggestions
and then she chose from there.

Speaker 6 (41:41):
That's so nice.

Speaker 7 (41:43):
And CHATCHYPT helped her pick the lottery numbers as well,
So how exciting. Hey, yep, those are your three things.
Would you do it?

Speaker 4 (41:49):
What used chet GPT to choose my numbers?

Speaker 2 (41:52):
No?

Speaker 7 (41:52):
Donate all your winnings, not all of it.

Speaker 4 (41:56):
You know what if it was thirty thousand, yes, oh
I would. Yeah, that's a lot of money.

Speaker 1 (42:02):
Just say that.

Speaker 6 (42:02):
I'm shocked right now when she won one hundred and
fifty something thousand and she only gets thirty something thou
Oh yeah.

Speaker 2 (42:08):
Like what the do you know?

Speaker 7 (42:10):
Okay, they slice that when you get take that cash option,
and then.

Speaker 4 (42:15):

Speaker 4 (43:12):
Tapping, Danielle, what's your phone tap about?

Speaker 5 (43:14):
Tom?

Speaker 2 (43:14):
All right?

Speaker 6 (43:15):
So Grandpa likes a fresh salad.

Speaker 4 (43:17):
I love Grandpas that loves fresh salad.

Speaker 6 (43:21):
So when he goes on his walk in the morning,
he takes fresh veggies from different people's gardens, and his
granddaughter keeps saying, Grandpa, you cannot do that. Somebody is
gonna bust you. So I'm calling as one of the
neighbors who owns the garden, saying you've been busting grandpa.
So Olivia is the granddaughter. She's gonna be listening in
and she'll join in later on.

Speaker 4 (43:40):
Is Grandpa eating out of your garden? Oh, Daniels phone tap,
let's listen.

Speaker 6 (43:47):
Yeah, Grandpa, do me a favor and stop stealing my vegetables.

Speaker 3 (43:52):
No, it's not Olivia, Grandpa, who are you.

Speaker 6 (43:56):
I am one of the people who you've been stealing
vegetables from and I.

Speaker 1 (43:59):
Know only one.

Speaker 3 (44:01):
What are you talking about doing vegetables? Don't understand?

Speaker 6 (44:03):
Okay, I have cucumbers growing in my garden. You know,

Speaker 7 (44:07):
You take them.

Speaker 3 (44:08):
Lady, you got the wrong number.

Speaker 6 (44:14):
Hello, really, you're gonna hang up on me?

Speaker 3 (44:16):
You want to be a little common lady. Get out

nothing about your.

Speaker 6 (44:21):
Guard Grandpa, you take cucumbers?

Speaker 3 (44:23):
Oh you calling grandpa? You're not my granddaughter. Doesn't matter
how old are you? How old are you? You're not
that much younger than me. You sound like an old

Speaker 3 (44:33):

I don't care.

Speaker 1 (45:06):
You know that's not fair. First of all, I'm not
the only one.

Speaker 3 (45:09):
Because you're not fair reading the Bible are about Jesus
asked him about who's going to take care of said
the birds. Nobody takes care of the birds they eat.
I'm like that. I'm making the Bible. I mean, I'm
eating that sound like one of the birds.

Speaker 6 (45:20):
All right, Why can't you go to the store and
buy cucumbers.

Speaker 3 (45:24):
It's nice and fresh from your garden. You're doing a
good job. Please keep it up. I'll grab some off
from your neck.

Speaker 6 (45:29):
And by the way, Lisa from down the block wants
you to stop grabbing the tomatoes. And then you've got
the fresh peppers from John's garden. He'd like you to
stop his way.

Speaker 3 (45:36):

Speaker 3 (45:48):
Are you?

Speaker 6 (45:48):
Are you threatening me?

Speaker 3 (45:50):
What thread? What's threatened? It's your promise. I'm gonna shut
on your cute combage. Do you know what?

Speaker 1 (45:55):
Not for anything?

Speaker 3 (45:56):
Just listen. I got to keep his clothes, all right,
I got live clear.

Speaker 6 (46:00):
Really, you're a little dramatic, Grandpa.

Speaker 3 (46:02):
I'm hiring up.

Speaker 6 (46:05):
That's right.

Speaker 4 (46:06):
It's something else.

Speaker 1 (46:08):
I swear again.

Speaker 6 (46:09):
He thinks he didn't do anything wrong. So here's what
I want you to do. I want you to call
him and I want you to just check in on it. Okay,
all right, so here we go. Just call him and say, Hi,
this is all you.

Speaker 3 (46:20):
What's wrong with you? You got to take head?

Speaker 1 (46:22):

Speaker 3 (46:23):

She's really annoying me. She's accusing me all there's different
kind of crazy. Yeah, she said not over give in
this neighbor. Unbelievable. She's been rolling one morning this which
keeps on calling me up and i'd me over bush.
She keeps on saying that I'm bobbing a cucumbistion to
make what the big deal when me taking a cucumber
with tonato.

Speaker 6 (46:43):
You cannot go into other people's giets and take their things.

Speaker 3 (46:46):
I brought people tonight is when I was a kid.
You know, why don't they do the same? These kids
moving in to the neighborhood.

Speaker 6 (46:51):
They got no respect their property.

Speaker 2 (46:53):
You gotta respect that.

Speaker 3 (46:54):
The hell with them. I don't care. I take that
cucumbers in there to make Please watch Grandpa, Grandpa.

Speaker 6 (47:03):

say these Mensday's sponsored the podcast Let's Work on that
come on, man, capitalistic Piglet's Oh, I'm ready, I comic clock.
It's an It's an honor to meet you.

Speaker 2 (48:09):
Thank you.

Speaker 4 (48:09):
I wish were here. I was honored to meet you.
Thank you. I wish we had had more moments before
we came in here, but it was like here, that's good,
we can have them now. We've all been such fans
of your work for so many years. Thank you, but
now we get to see you in a whole different light. Yes,
tell everyone what you're doing. I'm doing a podcast. It's
called what are we even Doing? We dropped today.

Speaker 15 (48:30):
I spend time interviewing young creatives, so we talk about
their process, their creative process.

Speaker 4 (48:36):
This is not a journey into a personal world.

Speaker 15 (48:39):
This is about kind of where they where they go
for their creativity, what inspires them, how they've used social
media to tell their story. And every story is different
and it's fascinating, and we kind of run the gamut
from we've had interviews. Kya Gerber is up today, Dylan
O'Brien an actor, We've got Willi Bennett speak with her

(49:02):
as well, so kind of across the board. Uh, And
they're all interesting people, fascinating and doing wonderful things.

Speaker 6 (49:08):
I'd like you and kaysonat to get together and do
a little something, okay on the.

Speaker 4 (49:12):
List we have them on already. Your question, well, being
a creator as you are yourself, how enlightening is it
to have people from other levels of age genre? What
levels might those be? I mean, do they do? They do?
They spark it for you? These conversations talking.

Speaker 15 (49:35):
That well, I think you know, it starts being an actor,
of course, working with other actors. I've got something out
now with Ethan Hawke and we were talking about this
last night. Just that kind of creativity that happens in
front of the camera, provided that the environment is a
creative one, is really what what we live for as
creative beings. And I think in conversations with some of

(49:56):
our young guests it's the same. We sit in a
room like this and we talk and out of that
I just get I get high on it, really. I mean,
it's just a wonderful way to communicate and talk about
what what drives them, you know, what motivates them?

Speaker 4 (50:09):
Where? Where does the creative stuff come from?

Speaker 2 (50:11):
You know?

Speaker 15 (50:12):
And and how did they start? Which is my journey
is a very strange, odd one. Everyone has a different
way in so that's also part of the conversation.

Speaker 4 (50:20):
So Kyle's what are we even doing? As he said,
it drops today. You can start hearing these podcasts on
the iHeartRadio network and wherever you get your podcast. Of
course you're ten. N you say ten, and you have
thirty four mins ago and then and more beyond that.
But what have Is there something that sticks out in
your mind during these first ten that makes you go, God,

(50:43):
that was a moment And I couldn't stop thinking about
that moment all day after we recorded that podcast.

Speaker 15 (50:48):
Yeah, every each time, so we've done ten, I've done
ten interviews, and everyone at some point in time there
is a moment.

Speaker 4 (50:54):
And again, this is a conversation. This is a casual conversation.
I'm not probing.

Speaker 15 (50:59):
I just want them to feel comfortable enough to reveal
to me what it is that there, how they go,
how they work. And I remember the one today actually
speaking with Kaya, because you know, I grew up with
with her mom, you know, so we bring up her mom.

Speaker 4 (51:12):
We talk about that and I said to her, did
your mom cool? Did you think she was cool when
you were growing up?

Speaker 15 (51:16):
And she said, absolutely not. She was like a mom,
and I said, that's beautiful. And then we talked about
the fact that she was a tree in one of
her first theatrical experiences, and I shared the fact that
I was also a tree.

Speaker 4 (51:27):
I was a Were you a tree? Any other people
who were on stage? Any bushes, shrubbery? You've got character?
You're what I was gett You haven't lived until you
played that tree. So she was a tree?

Speaker 15 (51:45):
Yeah, yeah, So we shared that. Just crazy stuff comes
up in conversations, and I enjoyed that, and then we
did it. Finally at the end, we did that thing
where we did Shakespearean insults to each other. Okay, we
pulled because she she loves Shakespeare.

Speaker 4 (51:59):
Kid.

Speaker 15 (52:01):
We prompted a rogue and peasant slave and yes uh,
and we put on these kind of funny callers.

Speaker 4 (52:08):
So it's it's all.

Speaker 15 (52:09):
It's good fun, lighthearted humor with some conversation that hopefully
gets into some deeper places.

Speaker 6 (52:15):
So you addressed as a hot dog somewhere?

Speaker 15 (52:16):
I certainly do did. Sorry, Yes, I had. I brought
my hot dog costume here. I've lefted in the green room.

Speaker 2 (52:23):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (52:23):
I have a curzy, kind of a fun social.

Speaker 15 (52:26):
Media presence and behind me here you can see couple
of the team memories. They didn't wear their their hot
dog costumes today, but away I know, right, they're turning away,
they're looking cat that did you. They're giving a seat.
Not talk about this and go down this road.

Speaker 4 (52:42):
Not the hot dog. Not the hot dog.

Speaker 15 (52:45):
Yeah, we were dancing around just for fun. It was
and literally I was like really and they were like yeah.
I said, okay, I mean I'm up for anything.

Speaker 4 (52:53):
What was this hot dog thing? I dressed up in
a hot dog costume?

Speaker 15 (52:57):
It was It was a trend TikTok trend that we
follow Mi Chapel roone song and we just kind of
did this crazy moment dancing around and people seem to
enjoy it.

Speaker 4 (53:07):
If everyone want to know how to be creative, they
should go to Kyle. You make me want to dress
like I want condiments to paint. The question though, out
of these ten I asked you, like, what is there
anything that stuck out? Of course I talked about being
a tree thing. Is there something you're learning from them?
Because I think that's what is going to make your

(53:27):
podcast a lot different than a lot of podcasts. You're
actually curious, yeah about what sparks them and then then
in turn it sparks you. I'm a saying, yeah, exactly right.
So during a conversation, of course they're sharing because it
is a conversation. That's how we set it up.

Speaker 15 (53:43):
So I asked them questions that I'm interested in, and
then I find myself sharing kind of my journey, you know,
my early days and what that was like. And and
there's a kind of a fun meeting of the minds
that happens, the differences and the similarities.

Speaker 4 (53:57):
I was talking with Dylan O'Brien.

Speaker 15 (53:59):
And I was saying, it feels like today there's much
more fluidity in terms of roles and performance and what
you can do and how you present yourself in terms
of being an actor. And I remember when I started,
there was pretty, you know, a pretty narrow lane in
terms of what you were expected to do and kind
of what you were trying to aspire to do, and
you didn't really venture off of that. And I said,
there's a freedom in that that happens with today's actors

(54:23):
that I find really refreshing. I kind of wish we'd
had that when I was younger as well.

Speaker 4 (54:29):
So when the director says, okay, you know your lines,
here's what we want you to do or where we
want you to go.

Speaker 6 (54:36):
Go.

Speaker 4 (54:37):
Does that still give you butterflies in your stomach? Oh,
it's just excitement. Yeah, Oh god, what do I do
with it?

Speaker 5 (54:44):
Yes?

Speaker 15 (54:44):
Yeah, No, It depends on the situation, honestly. And again
I was referring back to Ethan when I work with Ethan,
because we're similar in the fact that the script is
the starting point. But it depends on the director too.
Some directors they don't want you to experiment and kind
of go off a little bit. Sterlin Harjoe, who the
director of what we're doing right now was was just

(55:04):
the opposite. He was very much about let's let's let's
play in this world. Let's start with here with the
material that we have, and let's see where she goes.
And that, to me is what's a little bit like
the conversations I have with my guests. This is there's
no set plan. I mean, I've got a couple of
questions and we just sort of let them run and
we go off in different worlds. Really it's fun.

Speaker 4 (55:28):
Wow. Okay, by the way, turning us on to Kyle
Maclauchlin's here, what are we even doing?

Speaker 3 (55:33):
Uh?

Speaker 4 (55:34):
This, It's good. I like to weave what are what?
What are we even? There's so many ways that you
can agree with even even even doing This is the
latest show to join the Elvis Dram Podcast network, and
we are just thrilled to see where this is going.
I'm thrilled with what if you just stopped at ten,
we'd be happy. We can if we keep going, we

(55:55):
must have more.

Speaker 7 (55:56):
How do you find the people that you want to
do your podcast with? Because I said young content, cre
where are they coming from?

Speaker 4 (56:01):
Yeah?

Speaker 15 (56:01):
So I recommendations actually from my team and they know people.
And then some people that I also suggest that Kaya
was a suggestion. I knew her, and I started off
with people that I kind of knew a little bit Kaya,
Benny of course, Benny Skinner, who's in Overcompensating. Can I
mention that we're we're going back for a second season? Yeah, no,
please don't say that.

Speaker 4 (56:20):
Don't say that. Is it too late? Should? I hope
today the jury will disregard? Yeah, yeah, don't you didn't
hear that? People? No, it's definitely true. We're going back
to overcompensating too.

Speaker 15 (56:31):
And so now, so I knew Bennie a little bit
so when I started, you know, your butterflies and everything,
and you want to make sure. You don't know if
this is going to work. Really when you sit down,
here's the idea. We're going to sit down and have
this conversation. And I think it's going to be good,
but I don't know. But it turned out to be.

Speaker 4 (56:45):
I mean, I had so much fun, so much fun,
which is a great show. It's a great Well, thank you.
It's just a great idea. It's just a great idea.
And thank you for bringing I mean, you brought us all.
I mean you you're the man. We don't know, just
the man. We don't exist without you. No, I can't
handle that. You're the man. I love this text that
just came through. I've been listening to you for fifteen years.
This is the first guess that interests me. You know,

(57:07):
your audience is going to tell you, they're going to
give you honesty. See Lee Schrager was on before you.
I guess that really just.

Speaker 7 (57:19):
Has doing has changed the way that you create content?

Speaker 2 (57:21):
Now?

Speaker 4 (57:23):
Interesting question?

Speaker 15 (57:24):
Uh not yet in a way. Yes, I think the
whole journey I've changed. I've changed because the whole process
of engaging social media I've kind of let my my
crazy side out. I mean, I'm I'm very silly, and
I've been that way all my life. But there's as
I was talking earlier, I was saying, you know, there
was a period of time when that we don't want
to lean into that. You know, it's sort of the

(57:46):
young leading man. You got to be serious, you know,
brooding and all that. And now I've like my age
and what's happening. I'm like, screw it, we're going you know,
and I just jump in. So and I think that
that has that influence has come from the younger generation,
certainly from my son is seventeen, and he's a big
influence on me.

Speaker 4 (58:05):
Or he's keeping an eye on you. He is keeping
an eye on me. Yeah.

Speaker 6 (58:07):
See on YouTube all the time, like my sixteen year
old that's all he does.

Speaker 4 (58:11):
YouTube.

Speaker 6 (58:12):
That's where they get all their content.

Speaker 15 (58:14):
Yes, it is everything. It's more and more so than
any of the platform. YouTube is order where they go
and I find, I would say, kind of the same
way I go. I go on Instagram more.

Speaker 6 (58:22):
Than that's me too.

Speaker 4 (58:23):
Do you fall into the whole dude like hours later
like yeah, But I seem like I'm like I'm learning things,
you know what I mean. I'm like, no, this is educational.
I'm sort of and you're learning how not to be
as a human as well. That's my favorite. Okay, what
are your favorite go tos? When you see it on Instagram,
you've got to stop and watch it. Oh, I'm really
bad with Well, they don't know how much I learned

(58:44):
on this.

Speaker 15 (58:45):
But the cat videos where the cat videos, cats are
like fighting each other, like and they're like, you know
what I mean, they get the hell out of his show.

Speaker 4 (58:52):
I'm into airplane fights. I'm so into them. Oh, the
airplane fights. Don't judge. Yeah, I can't. I look I
have to look away. I'm too I'm too embarrassed. I can't.

Speaker 6 (59:03):
I like innocent children that curse and they don't even
like their parents start cracking up. They don't want to.

Speaker 4 (59:10):
Use the word.

Speaker 2 (59:14):
God.

Speaker 4 (59:15):
Well, so, speaking of creativity, can you think back on
your your body of work? What was that one that
sticks out to you? That project that you were given
license to and you succeeded in being your most creative.
The characters just came from you and no one else,
and you're so proud of it.

Speaker 15 (59:35):
Yeah, I go back to Twin Peaks. I think Dale
Cooper creating the character of Dale Cooper with alongside David
Lynch because he was he was obviously My first two
films were with David Dune in Blue Velvet and then
Twin Peaks, of course, and so he was a mentor,
a guide, like a big brother for me, and a

(59:57):
lot of Dale Cooper I just borrowed from day but
I just watched him and I did.

Speaker 4 (01:00:03):
I think he kind of maybe knew. I don't know,
you got to kick out of it. But and he
loved Twin Peaks so much.

Speaker 15 (01:00:08):
He loved the world of Twin Peaks so much that
he couldn't resist and he actually joined the cast as
Gordon Cole.

Speaker 4 (01:00:13):
He wanted to play in that world. It was so
special to him.

Speaker 6 (01:00:17):
Have they come to you for any of the shows
you've done, like Sex and the City Desperate Housewives and said, hey,
we want to do a reboot.

Speaker 15 (01:00:22):
No, but I have heard Kerry Washington is talking about
this for Desperate Housewives, so she's got an idea. It's
very early early on, so I don't know, could be fun. Yeah,
you seem too stereo, Lane. You seem to be showing
up in what I don't know. I find to be
the most entertaining shows for me anyway, thank you. So
I don't know what it is. So what do you
discard that comes your way? I know you don't do everything.

Speaker 4 (01:00:46):
No, this is a good question. I don't even really
think about it. Types of things do you stereo, I'm
trying to get back to creativity. You'll get a script
and go. I just don't see how I could really
have fun doing that. Yeah, that's part of it. Part
of it.

Speaker 15 (01:01:00):
Do I connect with the world or the character honestly?
And sometimes you know, you surprise yourself, but usually what
kind of gets filtered through somehow makes sense to me.
So I'm like, okay, this is good. I mean the
low Down, which is out right now we're going to
drop actually next week Politician. It's set in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

(01:01:23):
But he is a guy that has secrets, so that
seems to be a common thread.

Speaker 4 (01:01:28):
Don't tell you what I do?

Speaker 7 (01:01:31):
Yeah, what about in the opposite direction? Obviously, we know
you love Twin Peaks. Is there anything that you look
back on and you're like, damn it, why.

Speaker 4 (01:01:36):
Did I do that? Oh?

Speaker 8 (01:01:38):
Yes, this afternoon, it'll be this show, not at all,
I'm so happy to be here. Oh yeah, you know
there are shows that you go in with the best.

Speaker 15 (01:01:50):
Intentions and they end up surprising you in sort of
scary ways. I know there's a lot of controversy about Showgirls,
and I'm talking about that one, and so I was
that was one where I was like, oh, I didn't
turn out exactly as I expected, but it has found
uh an audience and a life.

Speaker 7 (01:02:08):
It's found an audience with our creepy producer over here,
not the only one.

Speaker 4 (01:02:18):
The creepy guys. He's coming toward the microphone. Yes, Colm McLaughlin,
I waits your question legitimate questions. I do actually have
two now that you brought that up. I think I
brought it up, which is scary scary thought. Okay, were
you fully nude? No, well, let's see the technically I

(01:02:40):
wasn't a pool. Yeah you wear a thing. Yeah, you
wear a thing. It's it's there's not much of a thing,
but there's a thing. Was the water cold? It was warm? Actually?

Speaker 15 (01:02:48):
However, however, here here's a little insight even at well,
what do they have the tempest like ninety eight degrees
or not? They have very very warm pool water. You
still get cold because your your body is losing temperature.
So we would go from the pool into there at
a hot tub, which is even warmer, to warm us
up from the very warm pool.

Speaker 4 (01:03:06):
So how do you don't practice that scene?

Speaker 7 (01:03:08):
Stop?

Speaker 4 (01:03:09):
I'll tell you. We rehearsed for weeks on that. I
do remember going in for a rehearsal though, with.

Speaker 15 (01:03:17):
Paul Verhoven and who was a director and are a
DP cinematographer. And so we're in the afternoon, we're there
at the pool and at the location and I come out,
I'm wearing like board shorts, you know, as you do,
and like, okay, we'll work walk through the this is
gonna happen here, and this is gonna happen here, blah
blah blah. So Paul and DP come out and they
have the the European thongs and these are these are

(01:03:41):
guys that you know, the necessarily want to you know,
not the guys you want to see we're in European
And I was just like, guys, guys, can you not
wear shorts? Can you not do something about this? They
were like totally fine, thank you. I wasn't going to say,
but you said, okay, Well, there you go.

Speaker 4 (01:03:56):
The image. The image is early in the morning, is tricky?
Are you done yet? I do have legitimate question.

Speaker 11 (01:04:00):
Okay, you're you're kind of guiding these young creatives through
the early parts of their career.

Speaker 4 (01:04:06):
What are they learning from you? Because I look at
your career, You've been doing this for a long time.

Speaker 11 (01:04:12):
Yes, and you're still I mean, I'm being tired that
in a negative way, but it's hard to do that
successfully for a long time.

Speaker 4 (01:04:19):
Do they ask you how you've been able to do that?

Speaker 15 (01:04:22):
During the course of the conversation, we talked about the
ups and downs of a career and I've had plenty
expectations that.

Speaker 4 (01:04:28):
Are that are smashed, you know what I mean.

Speaker 15 (01:04:31):
But I'm I'm I'm less guiding and more just really
letting them share with me their experience so far, and
and each one of them is different and very interesting.

Speaker 4 (01:04:44):
And then what it does.

Speaker 15 (01:04:45):
It triggers in me like, oh my gosh, I remember
an experience that's like that as well, and that that
just goes back and forth between the two of us,
and before you know it, the hour is done, you know,
and it's it's and then we end with a fun game.

Speaker 4 (01:04:57):
Of course that's always something especially we do it. It's
our game. Are we going to play a game? At
the end of the time, we should play Let's play
a game. What do you have past?

Speaker 6 (01:05:04):
What are we going to do? Family?

Speaker 4 (01:05:06):
Family feud, family food? Get ready?

Speaker 9 (01:05:09):
At least Trager has to play to This should be
the worst day ever in the history of worst shows.
See you're being so acidic. Colm McLaughlin's here. Of course,
what are we even doing this podcast? We're all very
skippy about and doing cartwheels about.

Speaker 4 (01:05:28):
Yes. Uh, and it just like you looks like you're
having a lot of fun doing this, And so is
this something you ever dreamed you'd be doing? And how
did this? How did this come about? Just someone else's
I know.

Speaker 15 (01:05:41):
It started out as it started off in a completely
different idea actually, as these things often do. So we said,
you know, it was during a short pandemic influenced. Actually,
you're inspired, and it's like not working doing too much?

Speaker 4 (01:05:53):
What can we do? What can we do?

Speaker 15 (01:05:54):
That's kind of creative? And we started sort of going
through different ideas and different thoughts. There was a wine
show at one time. I'm very big into wine. I said, oh,
maybe we can do something with wine or with business,
blah blah blah, and it finally distilled down and became
the show. He said, you know what, let's talk about
Let's talk about this young the young creatives idea and
what that might look like. But it really came from
the creatives from my wife's company, Full Picture. My wife,

(01:06:16):
Desiree Gruber, is very very smart and very talented, and
so she sort of said, you should go off and
find something that's going to really inspire you. And we
came up with this idea. So it was a you know,
it took a while to sort of ferment, and we
finally got from because of the wine thing anyway, sorry anyway,
and and this is what we've come up with it.
I'm having a great time. I had no id, but

(01:06:36):
I you know, you know, don't know when you start,
it's like, am I going to be able to have
a conversation with people? This is going to be interesting?
How how is this going to work? And I just said,
you know what I'm most comfortable doing just talking, you know,
having a conversation, and let's see what happens.

Speaker 4 (01:06:49):
I want everyone to listen to this podcast. It's out today.
It's called what Are we even doing. What are we
even doing?

Speaker 6 (01:06:56):
And you have the best voice. I could just sit
here and listen to your talk.

Speaker 4 (01:06:59):
Thank you. I learned from the best here. You have
this thing. You're doing this thing, though, I tell you
what you doing. When people put headphones on and they
listen to them talk, they sound a little different than
they do without headphones on. That's true. But we're psych
the way it sounds in this business, we say it
gives you. Yeah, he's got nuts, neck nuts, neck nuts.

Speaker 6 (01:07:18):
I love that.

Speaker 4 (01:07:19):
I'm going to use that. Look at this text message
just popped into your TikTok live. It's right. We've been
live on TikTok the whole time. What people are leaving
the can videos to come watch you. Oh my, that's
so rare. Just popped into your TikTok lif Kyle is
looking the best he's ever looked. He's my zaddy O.

Speaker 3 (01:07:38):
Yo.

Speaker 2 (01:07:39):
I like it.

Speaker 4 (01:07:40):
Daddy one in the Daddy called nice, well, thank you.
The lighting is wonderful than here. By the way, no
one ever we got radio lighting. As an actor, I
want to finish up the conversation as an actor, being
able to sit down with these creative up and comers, yeah,

(01:08:03):
and so I'm established and established, very established. Do you
find yourself itching to get back out there and get
to work again, get another project going? Yeah? Does it
inspire you? Yes? And because if so, that's where the
glow comes from you being inspired and glowing from them
is what's gonna make this think great. Yeah.

Speaker 15 (01:08:22):
Well they're all they're all successful at what they're doing,
you know, and and they all love what they're doing.
And so yeah, when we have a conversation, I'm like,
I really it'd be fun to do this with them
or so, you know, working with v Dylan O'Brien as
an actor i've admired for many years, I said, God,
it would really fun to do is scene with Dylan.

Speaker 4 (01:08:35):
He's so great.

Speaker 15 (01:08:36):
Even just a scene, it would be really great, you know,
let alone a whole thing. So yeah, that's that, that
is definitely there. When I have the conversation with them,
it gets me jazzed up and ready to go to work.

Speaker 4 (01:08:46):
It's it's a it's an amazing thing. It's a weird.
It's a weird thing that this is what what I
what moves me, you know, motivates me, drives me.

Speaker 15 (01:08:53):
It's like this creativity and when we're in that space
with these other with these other creatives, that that is
definitely there.

Speaker 4 (01:09:00):
So the takeaway for all of us, no matter what
you do in this life is you find these people
that you surround yourself with to inspire you, people that
just really spark your plug is such a thing. Spark plug,
I say, oh God, that those are awful times. You
got to you gotta surround yourself with people that make
you want to get up and go and continue doing

(01:09:23):
what you love, doing what you need to be doing,
when what the universe needs for you to do. And
it sounds like you have found this in this podcast
I have and you can hear it right before your ears.
What are we even doing, Kyle MacLaughlin, It's the latest

Beginning in October, the Duncan Rewards refresh. We'll see the

(01:11:50):
the reward system gives you ten points for each dollar
spent in the dunk and app. They can be redeemed
for different menu items. For example, right now, a coffee

fifty bucks spent, while doughnut is two hundred and fifty.

meaning you'll need to spend an extra ten dollars to
get that free coffee At Dunkin Donuts. Oh my god, Okay,

Speaker 2 (01:13:08):
Oh?

Speaker 4 (01:13:09):
Yeah, what's on the countdown today?

Speaker 9 (01:13:10):
This is the beer prices at NFL stadiums around the NFL.
These are the top five most expensive beers.

Speaker 4 (01:13:17):
Le he's been wondering about this list. You're actually getting
the top six because four or five and six are TODs.
Here we go.

Speaker 9 (01:13:24):
The forty nine Ers, the Rams, and the Chargers at
their respective stadiums, charge fourteen dollars for a sixteen ounce
per Oh my god. Number three, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers
at Raymond James Stadium charge fourteen dollars and twenty five
cents for a sixteen ounce beer.

Speaker 4 (01:13:40):
That seems like a lot, doesn't it. It is Number two?

Speaker 9 (01:13:44):
The Las Vegas Raiders charge fourteen ninety nine my god. Okay,
And the most expensive beer in the NFL, the Washington
Commanders at FedExField charged sixteen dollars and forty nine cents.

Speaker 4 (01:13:58):
Gods, what you were talking about? I didn't understand one thing.
Which game is You're talking about the most expensive beers
in NFL stadiums across the country. That's football? Is that
what your audience is interested in? Football?

Speaker 2 (01:14:14):
Yes?

Speaker 4 (01:14:14):
Absolutely.

Speaker 9 (01:14:16):
I'm going to the Giants game this weekend. You didn't
tell me how much my beer is gonna be. I'll
tell you at the Giants game and the Jets game
is thirteen dollars. Of the Miami Dolphins they charge twelve dollars.

Speaker 1 (01:14:24):
There you go.

Speaker 4 (01:14:25):
Wow, I've never had I've never had a beer in
my life. I never liked the taste. No, I just
don't like the taste.

Speaker 9 (01:14:32):
The Philadelphia Eagles at Lincoln Financial Field eleven dollars and
twenty fours.

Speaker 4 (01:14:36):
That's the most economical beer. Okay, all right, there you go.
So if you're go into a game this weekend, it's
cheaper just to sit at home and drink a shlit
smalt liquor all without a doubt, Natty Light, that's what
you should do. Save money. You're gonna start drinking beer.
Stay home and drink beer. Okay, Lee, I'm all for it.
Whatever we're talking about, Okay, just the weekend.

Speaker 1 (01:14:58):
Hey, this is Miley sire Yo, what off?

Speaker 4 (01:15:27):
So the other day we were talking about our body count.
How many people have you done? Have you been with?
Have you stooped?

Speaker 1 (01:15:37):
Do you know that?

Speaker 6 (01:15:39):
After we had that conversation, Jim Kerr from the other
radio station, he gets me in the hallway and he goes, Okay, Danielle,
what's your body count?

Speaker 4 (01:15:47):
I said you no, unanswering, not happening. Yeah, who banged? Though?

Speaker 2 (01:15:55):
Right?

Speaker 4 (01:15:55):
What can we take guesses of how many?

Speaker 7 (01:15:58):
That would be very hilarious, you.

Speaker 4 (01:16:00):
Know, I think that is a good idea. Let's okay,
I'll tell you what. Let's let's let's talk to our
friend Bruce. Bruce wanted to add to this conversation. Hello, Bruce,
I'm okay, yeah, okay, Look, we're talking about body count.
You heard us talking about this. You wanted to add
to this conversation? What is what is it you could
possibly add that we haven't already said about this?

Speaker 2 (01:16:22):
Well, I joined the swinger lifestyle about three years ago,
and let's just say that the body count number has
increased significantly. So the.

Speaker 4 (01:16:36):
Swinger lifestyle is that a club?

Speaker 6 (01:16:43):
I mean maybe there's an application.

Speaker 10 (01:16:44):
I don't know.

Speaker 6 (01:16:46):
Yeah, that's what I.

Speaker 10 (01:16:47):
Want to do.

Speaker 2 (01:16:49):
That's true. There there are swinger clubs which we do
frequent but we we don't call it like a swinger club.
It's just a lifestyle club.

Speaker 4 (01:16:58):
Okay. Well yeah, let's just keep it on the down load.
So the Jews dues, Yes, there are really.

Speaker 2 (01:17:09):
And then you paid for you when you get to
the door as well.

Speaker 4 (01:17:11):
Okay, but hold on, now we got we gotta find
out where you are in this situation are you Are
you married or just connected with someone partner? No, I
am married, okay, And so what made you two decided
you wanted to become a part of the swinger lifestyle.

Speaker 2 (01:17:28):
Actually it happened right around my birthday about three years ago,
where we went to a strip club. My wife got
a lap dance from a gorgeous woman and we drove home.
We had amazing sex that night. She had a dream
that she was with another guy and she looked across
and I was with another woman, and we were like, hey,
let's give it a shot.

Speaker 7 (01:17:49):
Okay, that's a great way to present it.

Speaker 4 (01:17:51):
So I had this dream he knows your birthday, so
you're getting you're getting your way anyway, that.

Speaker 2 (01:17:57):
Was a great birthday that year.

Speaker 4 (01:18:00):
All right. So how many years has this been going on?

Speaker 9 (01:18:02):
Again?

Speaker 2 (01:18:03):
Three years?

Speaker 4 (01:18:04):
Okay? And so can you estimate how many times per
each of those three years you guys have done this.

Speaker 2 (01:18:15):
Well, we have a group, a large group of friends
we hang out with even you know, just normally, but
it's it's not as not that often.

Speaker 6 (01:18:26):
Okay, I have a question. Yes, you're not worried that
your wife is going to find somebody who's better at
it than you.

Speaker 2 (01:18:34):
Nope, not at all.

Speaker 6 (01:18:34):
Okay.

Speaker 4 (01:18:36):
So the whole part of this thing each other. What's
great about this is with trust is you know when
you're doing other people because you're usually with each other,
with each other, I guess, yes, And then the night's
over and you go home and you're just with each other.

Speaker 2 (01:18:51):
Yeah right, yeah, Well, and the big thing is usually
after we talk about the night, we communicate with each other.
You know what we liked, what we didn't like, you
know what we would have done differently.

Speaker 4 (01:19:03):
I can tell you I'm into this. Yeah, this sounds awesome.

Speaker 6 (01:19:06):
Ask Alex if he's this again?

Speaker 4 (01:19:12):
What's this?

Speaker 2 (01:19:13):
So?

Speaker 4 (01:19:13):
How does it work?

Speaker 2 (01:19:14):
So?

Speaker 4 (01:19:15):
Is it another couple and you guys just trade?

Speaker 2 (01:19:19):
Uh?

Speaker 11 (01:19:19):
Do you have to give approval over the girl or
the guy? Does your wife pick the person? Good question,
like how does it work? Give me the step by
step process of you entering the room and you see
a couple go.

Speaker 2 (01:19:34):
Well, there are actually websites as well. We have apps
where we are part of the apps. So sometimes we'll
converse with other couples there. Sometimes when we do go
to a club, we'll see a couple. We'll discuss you know,
oh that guy's handsome, got a beautiful wife as well.
You know, let's go over and talk with him. Sometimes
you'll talk and you'll be like, hey, you know you
wanted to talk some more. We'll talk some more. Sometimes

(01:19:58):
it's like all right, meeting you and you just walk away.
Sometimes you don't feel that vibe with another couple.

Speaker 4 (01:20:05):
So the dynamic is totally different between swinging with another
couple versus just bringing a third in. So you need
you're saying you need that balance of the two other
people is that is that right?

Speaker 2 (01:20:20):
You do you do?

Speaker 4 (01:20:21):
Yes?

Speaker 2 (01:20:22):
Yes, there needs to be a balance.

Speaker 4 (01:20:24):
Okay, you don't.

Speaker 2 (01:20:25):
We always said we never will, We'll never like you know,
how can I say, uh, take one for the team?

Speaker 6 (01:20:33):
I should say, oh, so she can never see a
really super hot guy and say to you, hey, I
want him. It has to be a couple.

Speaker 2 (01:20:42):
No, that's not true. We've she's seen Oh my god,
that guy is cute fixing our furnace. So I'd be like,
write him a note. I took the note, put it
in his car.

Speaker 7 (01:20:54):
Oh did he come back?

Speaker 2 (01:20:58):
No?

Speaker 3 (01:20:58):
No, not.

Speaker 2 (01:21:03):
Okay, so we talked. Then that's the openness of this relationship.
It's like you have the trust. That's like, tell me
your fantasies. Where you're living out fantasies in this world.

Speaker 4 (01:21:13):
Wow, I got to go back to something you said,
am I deaf? You found a guy that was cute
and he fit in your furnace. That's a whole new level.

Speaker 7 (01:21:30):
So it's it's swinging, but also sort of just an
open relationship. Because you said you're never going to take
one for the team, which I assume means you're not
going to hook up with a woman. You're not interested
in just because she's interested in the guy. But you
guys can freely do what you want to as long
as you tell each other no, no, no.

Speaker 2 (01:21:45):
We actually some couples do that. Each couple has their
own rules. One of our rules is we are in
the same room always when we're playing with another couple. Okay,
we don't go on separate date.

Speaker 4 (01:21:57):
Okay, sounding better about the moment. And so in the
last three years, how much has your number gone up?
And is that the same number as your wife?

Speaker 2 (01:22:07):
I think her number has gone up a little bit more,
but my number has gone from three to about sixteen
seven I think seventeen now.

Speaker 4 (01:22:15):
Okay, wow, okay, let's get scared.

Speaker 2 (01:22:18):
I think one night it went up five and one night.

Speaker 4 (01:22:21):
One night went whoa right, all right, my mind is made.

Speaker 8 (01:22:27):
Wow.

Speaker 14 (01:22:27):
I just want to know do you guys have to
like so if you like one the woman from one couple,
can she like the guy from another couple?

Speaker 4 (01:22:36):
Or does it have to be the same couple every time?
Like the same couple? Like you you both?

Speaker 2 (01:22:41):
Yeah, what, we've usually gone the same couple. But like
I said, we have like a group of friends, so
a lot of times it'll just be like our large
group of friends in one room, so it'll be like
different couples altogether.

Speaker 6 (01:22:53):
Oh wait, wait wait wait wait, so how many in
one room at one time?

Speaker 3 (01:22:58):
Ever?

Speaker 2 (01:22:58):
We've had twelve people.

Speaker 4 (01:23:00):
I love this all right, So it's like it's like
a convention. You can say that, you go ahead.

Speaker 7 (01:23:07):
So is it true then all these things that we
hear about how to spot a swinger in public, the
upside down pineapple or you know, Adirondack chair, are these
things true?

Speaker 2 (01:23:17):
The upside down pineapple? For sure? I mean, we've in
a different state and slip that pineapple upside down to
see if you know we've got anybody interested?

Speaker 4 (01:23:27):
Bruce, it sounds like you you really are not. Not
only are we intrigued, but it sounds as if you
are very very proud to talk about it. You you
you like, you like pushing the scene, and I'm into that.
That's cool.

Speaker 2 (01:23:40):
It is because we've met some amazing, amazing people.

Speaker 4 (01:23:45):
I mean, it goes beyond sex friendship, it does, it
really does.

Speaker 2 (01:23:49):
We We we we hang out, just go out for dinner, sometimes,
go to each other's house like watch a movie, go home, okay,
go to parties together, just normal vanilla stuff.

Speaker 4 (01:24:03):
So that brings this question from me. Friends that you've
made through swinging versus friends you have that you don't
hang out with sexually. Is the bond and those friendships
different between the two? I mean, do you actually feel
a lot closer to the people that you're intimate with

(01:24:23):
versus the people who you just hang out with casually
and don have sex with.

Speaker 2 (01:24:28):
I will actually say yes, I do feel closer with them.
And we've gone on vacations with our swinger friends and
they are fantastic vacations. It's like we keep on planning
more vacations just with our friends.

Speaker 6 (01:24:43):
Oh I have another question. Okay, So say you're all
just sitting around, You're not having sex, you're all watching
a movie, but you've all done it with each other.
So if your wife decides that, you know, Larry's sitting
next to her and she's already been with him, can
she just start like making out with him or does
it have to be planned ahead time?

Speaker 2 (01:25:01):
Nope, there's we usually don't plan ahead. There's no expectations like, oh,
we're going out with you guys, We're gonna, you know,
have sex with you guys tonight. No, it's like you
just go you have fun. If things get to that point,
it gets to that point. If not, you know, there's
another day. Yeah, if she's next to Larry, she can

(01:25:23):
she can kiss him, you know, start start things up.
Because we've known each other for many years already, so
we're half that phase of you know, do we trust
them and all.

Speaker 4 (01:25:35):
That stuffy always we always count there. Well, Bruce, thank
you so much for sharing with us. This is very
very interesting. And uh, I know what I'm doing this weekend.
I'm gonna get I'm gonna get started on this. I'm
gonna call Larry and upon it.

Speaker 2 (01:25:55):
Is full of the clubs.

Speaker 4 (01:25:57):
All right, thank you so much. You have another question?

Speaker 2 (01:26:00):
Thank you?

Speaker 7 (01:26:01):
Okay, last thing. You're very open about this life song.
You've seem proud of it. Do you have any kids?

Speaker 2 (01:26:06):
Yes?

Speaker 7 (01:26:07):
Do they know about it?

Speaker 2 (01:26:09):
Well?

Speaker 7 (01:26:09):
Do they know about this?

Speaker 2 (01:26:11):
Only one?

Speaker 1 (01:26:13):
Oh?

Speaker 4 (01:26:14):
They all one knows. They all know.

Speaker 6 (01:26:16):
And are all the kids with with your wife.

Speaker 4 (01:26:17):
Bruce, are any of them? Larry's No.

Speaker 2 (01:26:20):
To be honest, most most of the people in the
swinger lifestyle from what I've seen, are actually in their
second marriages, if not more.

Speaker 4 (01:26:30):
Okay, cool, thanks blended, Yes, thank you so much. Bruce,
it's been fabulous speaking with you, and thank you and
thanks for sharing. Thanks for sharing Larry's number with us.
You take care, Bruce, Thank you again.

Speaker 2 (01:26:48):
All right, take care.

Speaker 10 (01:26:52):
Oh no, we got to go.

Speaker 1 (01:26:53):

Speaker 4 (01:26:58):

Cardiac Cowboys

Cardiac Cowboys

The heart was always off-limits to surgeons. Cutting into it spelled instant death for the patient. That is, until a ragtag group of doctors scattered across the Midwest and Texas decided to throw out the rule book. Working in makeshift laboratories and home garages, using medical devices made from scavenged machine parts and beer tubes, these men and women invented the field of open heart surgery. Odds are, someone you know is alive because of them. So why has history left them behind? Presented by Chris Pine, CARDIAC COWBOYS tells the gripping true story behind the birth of heart surgery, and the young, Greatest Generation doctors who made it happen. For years, they competed and feuded, racing to be the first, the best, and the most prolific. Some appeared on the cover of Time Magazine, operated on kings and advised presidents. Others ended up disgraced, penniless, and convicted of felonies. Together, they ignited a revolution in medicine, and changed the world.
