Speaker 1 (00:01):
It's time to go around the room with Elvis Duran
in the morning show.

Speaker 2 (00:06):
Got a question for you. Yeah, do you know where
I want to go?

Speaker 3 (00:09):
Where?

Speaker 4 (00:10):
Round the road?

Speaker 2 (00:14):
I love going round the room. We'll start with Gandhi, Gandhi,
what's on your mind today?

Speaker 3 (00:18):
Okay?

Speaker 5 (00:19):
I know we've been talking a lot about reframing things
and trying to give yourself a better option, a hope
and excitement. And one of the things that I read
recently that I loved was it's always a win if
the goal is experienced. And I've been thinking about that
a lot because it's so true. If you don't give
yourself a specific outcome that has to happen, and you
just say, you know what I want, the experience from

(00:39):
this whatever you do is going to be great.

Speaker 2 (00:41):
So think about it that way, right. Some people get
all been out of shape because oh what if I fail?
What if this isn't good?

Speaker 6 (00:47):
And well, then if you don't at least try, you'll
never experience anything exactly.

Speaker 5 (00:52):
You always learn something. Even if you fail, you learn
something exactly.

Speaker 2 (00:55):
Thank you so welcome. For instance, this career we've all chosen.
What a journey.

Speaker 3 (00:59):
It's been a.

Speaker 6 (01:00):
Failing career but a journey is the most important.

Speaker 2 (01:04):
Part, exactly. It's the journey. Hey, scary, what's up with you? Now?

Speaker 1 (01:08):
I used to think that the right way to wake
up was being jolted out of bed by my iPhone alarm,
the one that makes us the phone ring, the old
phone rings.

Speaker 2 (01:17):
And I would freak out.

Speaker 1 (01:19):
I would have a heart attack and my blood pressure
would go up.

Speaker 2 (01:23):
I would feel it rising. That's no way to start.

Speaker 1 (01:25):
You're the show, no, So I decided to change my
ring tone.

Speaker 2 (01:29):
What's your name? Microphone? Trying to pull it up, But
it's basically the mellow.

Speaker 1 (01:35):
Piano piano one.

Speaker 2 (01:36):
It goes.

Speaker 1 (01:40):
And it kind of kind of ramps up slowly, and
it's this nice mellow piano, and I gotta tell you,
it does the job.

Speaker 2 (01:47):
It wakes me up.

Speaker 1 (01:48):
I was afraid it wasn't going to And that's alarm
number one of ten.

Speaker 2 (01:52):
So and it works. It wakes me up every time.
And I'm like, I now, ease, nice number one of ten.
I have ten alarms, Holy crap. But it kind of
slides into the morning.

Speaker 6 (02:02):
I don't have That's the best way to do it,
They say that is the best way to do it,
you know. They have those clocks also that will have
a light that slowly fades up.

Speaker 2 (02:09):
You have a light that slowly.

Speaker 6 (02:10):
Turns up while your piano goes. Can you imagine having
Scary in the bed next to you doing that every morning?
Tell me to wake up, sunshine, Come on, cupcake, and
he does this in your ear. Oh God, all right,
producer SAand what's up with you?

Speaker 2 (02:30):
Okay?

Speaker 4 (02:30):
Talking about people you love when they're not in the
room is just the best feeling if they find out
about it later. So, my husband, William came home with
these key Lime pie cookies for me because he knows
I love key Lime Pie. I'm like, oh, thank you
so much. He goes, I can't take credit. My patient
brought them to me for you, Like, how does your
patient know? Because I talk about you and I was saying,
how are you the only person in the world who

(02:52):
really loves key Lime pie this much?

Speaker 2 (02:53):
I was so touched.

Speaker 4 (02:55):
I don't know who the real MVP is in this situation,
my husband or the patient, but either way entirely made
my night.

Speaker 2 (03:01):
So, yeah, talk about.

Speaker 4 (03:02):
People you love when they're not there, and maybe bring
them keel and pie cookies.

Speaker 6 (03:07):
That's the thing, you know, saying good things about people
when they're not around. It really it really kind of
sets the stage for the people you are saying the
things too as well. They're like they're a nice guy.
That's a nice guy. A nice woman. Saying nice things
about people and they're not around. There's no payoff, there's
no agenda at all.

Speaker 4 (03:24):
It's true, he's a nice woman.

Speaker 2 (03:25):
It's okay.

Speaker 6 (03:25):
You can say someone's nice and you like them even
if they're not there, and there's no payoff.

Speaker 2 (03:29):
Tried something, Danielle, Okay, no, but it's your turn, Danielle.

Speaker 3 (03:34):
Oh, So my mom has learned the Irish Exit. She
didn't know it was called the Irish Exit. She got
very excited, but she said I left the party the
other night without saying bite anybody. And I'm like, yeah, mom,
that's an Irish exit. She goes it has a name.
I'm like yes, and she's like it was so cool.
It was just so crazy there and I didn't know
what to do. So we just left and she looked

(03:54):
like she was like this little child that discovered some
new thing. And I was like, how old are you, mom?
She's like seventy seven. I go, and you've never done
that before she because no, I always walk around saying
goodbye to everyone. I said, Oh, Elvis is the king
of the Irish Exit. It's like he backs out the
door without anybody knowing.

Speaker 2 (04:11):
Be honest, I can't believe I'm still here.

Speaker 3 (04:13):
So I'm very proud of my mom learning these cute
new little things.

Speaker 2 (04:16):
Never too late to learn wonderful things like the Irish exit. Hey,
straight e, what's up with you? Hear me out on this. Okay,
if you're a fan of the home team and you
pay for a ticket to watch that home team play
in their home stadium and they lose, you should get
some of your money back. I'm sorry, really, I'm sorry.

(04:36):
That ain't gonna happen. Tickets are very expensive. Yes, I
want to see them win. I don't want to see
them lose.

Speaker 6 (04:43):
They can do whatever they want in other people's stadiums,
but when they're at home and they're playing, they need
to win.

Speaker 2 (04:49):
Yeah, you know it.

Speaker 5 (04:50):
To me, I don't pay to watch.

Speaker 6 (04:51):
You lose unless there it's unless it's a fixed game,
and we know that's illegal.

Speaker 2 (04:56):
And hear me out. These tickets are expensive. I want
to pay to watch you lose.

Speaker 3 (05:01):
I mean, big game if I'm playing like World Series
prices or like playoff prices, maybe I should get a
little bit about why.

Speaker 2 (05:09):
Would you go to the game if you already know
the outcome? Because I want to watch them win them.

Speaker 3 (05:15):
I don't know if once the game's over, if they lose,
then they like just give you a little rest.

Speaker 5 (05:20):
Yeah, it's like a win win thing. So we're not
going to do that.

Speaker 6 (05:24):
What a bad business mind. This is why you were
not a team owner. We have a special guest in
our room as we go around the room, Scotty Bee.

Speaker 2 (05:34):
Yes, Hi, what's up?

Speaker 7 (05:36):
So you ever wonder sometimes why you might see gift
cards on sale, you know, store gift cards at restaurants,
and they'll give Scottie Bee if.

Speaker 4 (05:44):
You buy them.

Speaker 7 (05:45):
Well, it's because they're hoping that you don't use them
or finish them anyway. So the other day I went
around my house and found a bunch of old gift cards.
Some of them had a dollar, some of them had
a dollar twenty seven.

Speaker 2 (05:54):
I don't care.

Speaker 7 (05:54):
I will use every last penny on them, even if
it costs me money to use them, because I'm not
going to the company backed a penny.

Speaker 2 (06:01):
I don't care. I want my dollars.

Speaker 7 (06:05):
I had a bed Bath and Beyond one that had
ninety seven cents on it.

Speaker 2 (06:08):
I don't care.

Speaker 7 (06:09):
I went in the store and bought the cheapest thing.
It cost me a dollar fifty to buy the little
air freshener thing.

Speaker 2 (06:13):
But I don't care.

Speaker 7 (06:14):
I won't let them have their money back.

Speaker 2 (06:15):
Wait, is Ben Bath Beyond still open? No, I'm sorry.
I meant Bath and body Works? Okay, Yeah, their NEPs
is called Bath. Yeah, and you know what else?

Speaker 7 (06:23):
So you know what else I found? I found a
fifty dollars Toys r US gift card from before they
went out of business. But now they're starting to open
up again. So I'm going to go in there and
try to Yeah, good luck on that. I'm sure scam that.
I'm sure other courts will protect.

Speaker 2 (06:36):
Them on that.

Speaker 5 (06:37):
I'm not sure that mouth is working out right?

Speaker 1 (06:39):
Why?

Speaker 2 (06:39):
Yeah, you're not mathing.

Speaker 5 (06:40):
Because you don't want them to have ninety seven cents. Yeah,
so you give them a dollar fifty.

Speaker 7 (06:45):
That's right.

Speaker 2 (06:46):
I don't care.

Speaker 7 (06:46):
In my head, I'm not letting them keep the money
that's left on the car right more.

Speaker 2 (06:50):
Yeah, we call it Scotty Bee logic line. They win
Gius what everyone yes, Ruegis went around the road,
