Okay, so I'm not actually angry. I'm pretty happy. It's a great
day. I'll be angry for you. I had the most fun yesterday arguing
with the Colorado GOP account. Andlet's be real, somebody sent me that

another Darcy is running the Twitter account. I don't believe it. David Williams
is running that Twitter account. He'srunning everything him alone, with his phone
rocking back and forth. We'll talkabout where his other hand is while he's
doing this. Now, I'm okay, you appreciate that. Sorry, I'm

the mouth. Anyway, So thispast weekend at the Assembly, yes,
another bit of stupidity and nonsense comesout of the and I'm gonna call leadership
with air quotes around it, leadershipof the GOP. When they passed a
resolution and I'm going this is I'mgonna paraphrase. I'm not going to read
the whole thing. It just sayswe are only going to support the people

that came to our Assembly, becausethat means we don't have to support any
other candidates that David Williams doesn't like. I mean, look, it's just
more of Dave William's self dealing,right. He went through the Assembly,
so he wants justification in order touse everything he's got at the State Party,
whatever's left of it that he extortedout of presidential candidates for himself,

which was, by the way,the crux of my FEC complaint that I
filed last week, because we finallygot the reports back from the State Party
that they did, in fact spendalmost ten thousand dollars in printing and I
think like six thousand dollars un mailinga piece down into Dave William's congressional district

that he created to attack his opponent, and also, by the way,
attack the Colorado Springs Gazette, whichI argue in my FEC complaint, uh
he did in retaliation for them endorsinghis opponent, calling them the never Trump
newspaper, which is funny because theyare the only major newspaper in twenty twenty

that endorsed Donald Trump. That can'tbe right, Kelly, Surely Dave Williams
is not that stupid, oh never, But there's more right and so and
so what we're seeing is we're seeinga lot of the Dave Williams self dealing,
and really it's all aimed at tryingto get Trump to support him and

trying to make sure that he isyou know, that he is seen as
the quote maga candidate. But Ikeep saying this, Mandy, that this
isn't about Maga versus rhinos, whichis how Dave Williams keeps trying to frame
it. It is about Dave Williamsversus everyone else. He will cannibalize the
entire party for his own means andto his own end. And I you

know, Donald Trump, he's out, he's trying to win a presidency.
He's got a lot going on.So if you just kind of like do
a surface look at Colorado and you'relike, oh, this guy's maga ish,
right, like Dave Williams. ButI think I think that once President

government, has been importing Chinese crapuh, He's gonna be like, oh,
I don't no, that's funny.Kelly because we talked about that on
the show, and to my knowledge, Dave Williams has not responded to the
reports that, by the way,we're called with accurate documentation about what his
company did and how many shipments ofChinese crap they brought in. He has

never responded to the actual question ofdid you trade in Chinese crap? Is
your only job? Right, Iexcept to go fake news, fake news,
But but this is the thing,right And then and then he like
like tries to push it up inTrump world. He's like, the rhinos
are being mean to me. Therhinos are being mean to me, as
he is cannibalizing all of Trump's goodwill within Republican primary voters for himself.

Well, this is my take.This is my take on Dave Williams,
because we already know in twenty sixteen, he was part of the Republicans that
walked out. He was part ofit. He was part of that crew,
his buddy. Yeah, he wasn'ta cruise he was a cruise guy.
He was going to walk out andprevent Trump from getting the nomination.
And in twenty twenty, he waskicked off his voluntary role on the Trump

campaign for using Trump to try andget a friend of his through a difficult
primary. So we already know thoseand then all of a sudden, he's
the Trumpiest Trumper around. He's thatkid who is excommunicated from the cool kids
circuit. So he's going to doeverything in his power to grovel and beg
and plead to be let back intothe cool kids circle. And he's going

to do whatever he can to makethat happen, which is the whole let's
go Brandon nonsense that he tried toget done. And now this, I'm
super maga. He's not. Hehas not been pro Trump since twenty sixteen.
He's not been pro Trump since twentytwenty when he used Trump's name for
the purposes of helping a friend.And he's doing the exact same thing now.
Yeah. Well, and that's thething is, like Trump's got a

lot going on. Trump World isvery busy. I understand how they could
look at this and be like,oh, yeah, sure, this this
guy, yeah, this guy whatever. But it's just funny to me that
Dave Williams and his response is likeJeff Crank and Chinese and I'm like,
hi, hypocrite, Yeah, Iwould not if I were Dave Williams,
I wouldn't again, not one moretime. Here he pretends he's America first,

and yet his only job has beenimporting Chinese crap. No, wait,
so there was no other job inthe private sector except okay, he
was the manager of a movie theater. Respectable job, yep. I mean
I think in college when he wassomebody's got somebody's got to be in charge
of that, and that's a perfectlyfine job. Yep. So the other

thing that happened last weekend at theAssembly was he threw out, yes,
Sandra fish right, who has beencovering Colorado politics since nineteen eighty two.
Yes, she seems to be avery nice lady. Do you know Sandra
person I do know Sandra personally,So what are your Well you're a rhino
though, so I'm not right.I mean, here's the thing. I
have a very I have a tonof respect for Sandra. I don't know

a reporter in the state of Coloradowho understands the processes, whether you're talking
about like very esoteric how to gothrough title board or right the disclosures look
like, or what the rules looklike. She's fought hard and long for
Sunshine and open records. She isShe can take complex and weird issues,

honestly of surrounding government and distill themvery well. I don't I don't think
that the Colorado's sun is at alllefty. What I do find their editorial
page to be left for editorial page. But they are old school enough that
they keep those separate, right,and that is fine with me. Just

have somebody who calls balls and strikes. And Dave William's issue is that because
Sandra Fish is such a good reporter, and she will lay out the case
for how he is self dealing andhow he is cannibalizing the Republican Party for
himself, and how he is usingall of these processes in order to try

to wreck the Republican Party and allthe other candidates of the Republican Party,
including but not limited to Donald Trumpfor his own means to become a congressman.
He didn't want her there because hedidn't want Sunshine on the fact that
it was shady, shady top tobottom, side to side. There are

a lot of people who were concernedabout voting machines. There were a lot
of people who are concerned about votingmethodologies and Dave Williams capitalizes on that when
it is useful for him to instilllike fear and concern in people, and
then when it comes back on himand he has to figure out the mechanisms
of actually conducting a vote, thenhe doesn't want anybody seeing that because he

realized that his whole Scantron thing fellapart that he tried to buy off of
eBay, and then he had peoplesay, I mean, like I wish
I was kidding, Mandy, ButI have spent twenty plus years of my
life as a Republican working to tryto convince people that we actually have some

good ideas, and Dave Williams issingle handedly doing everything in his power to
try to set it on fire inservice of one thing, and that is
himself so he can sit on thetop of the ashes and be king of
the heap. Yeah exactly. Andyou know what, I suspect that we
are going to to get worse shouldhe be able to continue. Oh,

I agree wholeheartedly. We've lost everything. This methodology is successful, and by
successful, I mean he gets hisway and the Republican Party doesn't do anything
to push back on him, hewill succeed. I mean, right now,
let's be real, the Republican Partyin Colorado is in the wilderness for
I don't know, ten years minimumbefore I think we make any kind of

strides. It has to be postTrump in Colorado. Outside of the Republican
Party, Trump is just not popular. He's reviled in Colorado, and we
are one of those states where youeither love him or he's reviled by you,
and we need party leadership that isfocused on those down ballot races.

Do you know if any candidate hasreceived any support from the state party other
than David Williams. I mean,I haven't seen anything. I really,
I genuinely have not seen them doanything. Because he has raised so little
money, because he has lost trustwith the kind of people who have supported

the party in the past. Whywould they give Why would they give state
party money? Well, maybe becausethey don't want to give him twelve thousand
dollars for his own consulting firm thathe paid out of the out of the
campaign donation to consult for himself.Yeah, right, or the justification might
I mean, look, I laidout in my FEC complaint. It's on
my Twitter. You tweeted it I'mhappy to share it with anybody. I

laid out I think a really areally solid case as to how this is
really self dealing and how this isthis is Dave Williams using the party for
himself for his own congressional race,and how he's doing it to the detriment
of everyone else, and he's soimpotent and so pathetic that he is just

going to take everything that's left andburn it to the ground in service for
himself. Also, the thing thathappened this last week that he's been touting
on Twitter. Whenever anybody complains aboutthe party, he sends out things like
cry harder. And he sent outthis resolution that they decided to only support

candidates that appeared at the Assembly,which is in clear violation of the actual
Colorado gop by laws. And sohere's my question, rank and file Republicans
who are as disgusted with his behavioras I am, who are not in
the Executive Committee, which from whatI understand, has been pretty pretty culled
at this point of people who arenot supporters of David Williams. So you

know, what redress do those peoplehave? Is there anything they can do
because he's stopping all over the actualrules of the Republican Party and then and
then touting it as a good thing. Yeah no, I mean, look,
he's just like one giant middle fingerto everyone, right, And that's
why I started the Restoring Standards packand Restoring Standards C four is to start
to try to figure out how toput our arms around these issues. But

I mean, look, the RepublicanParty is a private organization, and it
is a private organization that is selfgoverning, and when there's no one left
to hold people accountable, then thereis no Then there is no accountability,
right right, And so like wecan sue, people, could sue,

somebody who is harmed could sue,But ultimately this has to come from the
bottom up. And one of thethings that was really heartened by was the
number of precinct caucuses where people introducedfrom a grassroots standpoint, these resolutions about
conflicts of interest, about what leadershipshould look like from the Republican Party,

and then largely you saw them notget further up the chain because they just
weirdly disappeared, so weird that theywould just be ignored by the LEADLeadership in
a party that they were all directedat yep. And so then you can
just pass a resolution that says,hey, we can endorse in these races
because we say we can. Anda majority of the people at convention stood

up, not either realizing that itwas a resolution or just because they're angry,
as they should be. Right.I also, had I been there,
would have been angry. I'm frustratedwith this whole situation. And here
we sit, here we sit,and now Dave Williams has codified once again

another self dealing type of situation illegallyagainst the bylaws. Yeah, I mean,
but I guess unless the Executive Committeestands up, so's it's the Central
Committee a central committee, okay?And like unclear right, My thing is
he cannot become a congressman this way. He cannot become a congressman this way.

If he does, the ramifications arehuge. This is this is how
you become a congressman. Then thisbecomes how you become a congressman. And
it's gross and it's wrong. AndI stood up and said absolutely not.
And I've been taking slings and arrowsreally like I mostly don't get upset about

it, but like people my friendsget upset. Oh yeah, things that
people are saying about me, andfine, you know what, I will
stand up. I will take theinsults, I will take the childishness,
and I will say we are betterthan this. We are better than a
guy who only imports Chinese crap whilesaying that he's America first. We are

better than a guy who says he'sgonna play it right down the middle while
he uses the ashes of the RepublicanParty for himself. We are better than
a guy who pretends like he's allMaga, Maga maga, when really he's
cannibalizing everybody, including MAGA candidates.Oh, there's there's in my mind.

I mean, I'm looking at thelandscape and there are races that are going
to be incredibly close. Yes,CD eight, Yeah, did we talk
about that for a second. Yeah, we already know that. This last
Congressional district City eight went in asqueaker to Yudarra Caraveo over Barb kirk Kirkmeyer.
Who is I? I love Barb? I Like I don't usually say
I love politicians, but she is. She is so knowledgeable, and she

is so smart, and she's principled. She is just fantastic. She's so
good. She should have won thatrace where it not for a libertarian who
did not campaign at all. Butthat district is truly split. Right,
Nothing David Williams is doing is goingto help. And that's the thing is,
like the one thing that David Williamscould have pointed to that maybe he
did, is he created that negotiationwith the Libertarians. Oh guess what they

have now decided to like take thatand throw it straight in the trash?
Can Could you blame them? No? I wouldn't want to subjugate my party
to this clown show, right,you know what it is. I mean
I used to laugh that I wouldbe a Libertarian if they ever wanted to
win anything. And now that's thequestion is to like why am I a
Republican because clearly we have an incentiveproblem where Dave Williams profits off of destruction

yep, right, And I don'tknow how to sell building when you have
somebody who is just walking around witha match and then whiny the rhinos they're
coming, the rhinos, they arecoming, Like what what does that even
mean at this point? Nothing?That's the thing that gets me. Do

husband left you, did your childrendemand to be emancipated? What happened after

is like they seem so scary andthey seem so mean, and it is

up and say this is enough,this is too far. Here's the line
in the sand. I'm an actualRepublican, you sir, are not well.
I mean, actual Republicans might careabout things like bylaws or tradition of
you know, doing things that theRepublican Party traditionally has done, following the

rules, all of these crazy thing. I mean, it's nuts to think
about it. Well, it is. And also like I just look at
I look at this landscape, andI look at Dave Williams and what he's
doing, and I just I keephoping that the the like Trump team will
kind of dig it out, yeah, dig it a little bit more,

and they'll look at it and they'llbe like, oh, the same people
who are supporting President Trump here,and some of them are like large.
I know, I know several largedonors who are supporting President Trump and simultaneously
are begging begging for Dave Williams togo away. Well, they're gonna have
