We have bad Company, Chubby Checker, Chubby check Joe Cocker,
Cyndi Lauper, Outcast, sound Garden, and the White Stripes like
those areas out.
Speaker 2 (00:27):
Yest not normally at the Rock and Roll Hall of
Fame they performed. Yeah, yeah, so Outcasts could possibly performing.
Speaker 4 (00:35):
Yeah, I mean they talked about it, they might do that,
and he already said, ain't gonna lead to nothing, don't
want to get excited.
Speaker 2 (00:40):
But who knows, maybe he gets that.
Speaker 3 (00:44):

Zevon were the musical influence.

Okay, Billy Idol got snubbed. I know a lot of
people are saying fish got snubbed too, And I'm like,
I don't know.
Speaker 4 (01:09):
Well, they won the fan vote and that's why everyone's like, well,
the fans want them, but that doesn't really count towards
everything doesn't count. But Mariah Carey and Billy Idol both
got left out. Yeah, you going to make it in eventually.
This is Mariah's second time.
Speaker 3 (01:23):
And I think Dave Matthews band too. Was another one
where people were like, what the heck?
Speaker 2 (01:26):
I think in some of them, if you if you
get nominated a certain number of times, yeah, I don't
think that's for this. I don't think that matters. They're
going to get in.
Speaker 4 (01:33):
Yeah, I mean the problem is it keeps stacking people
because they only allow a certain amount in. So as
long as the big name gets stacked, like, at what
point do they get passed by other names.
Speaker 3 (01:44):
IMDb released the list of the most watched TV series.
Speaker 2 (01:49):
Of all time on Netflix. No, but how did you
like that?
Speaker 5 (01:55):
Ding?
Speaker 2 (01:58):
Okay, well, I'm.
Speaker 3 (02:02):
Thirty percent of Americans consider themselves at least casual fans
of the show.
Speaker 2 (02:06):
Thirty percent of Americans breaking bad, No for Friends, No
TV series of all time Game of Thrones. Really, yeah,
I don't think any of us saw that, right. I'm
getting what they tell me to do. I gave it
three episodes, good for you only got past three one.
Speaker 3 (02:24):
Yeah, so from twenty eleven to twenty nineteen I had
seven seasons.
Speaker 2 (02:27):
Obviously I love it. Yes, it falls under that.
Speaker 3 (02:30):
Umbrella of like the most It is the most wash obviously,
but like the action, adventure, drama, all of that.
Speaker 6 (02:36):
Stuff, and like that sounds really engaging, Like it hooked me.
But when I saw it, I'm like, I don't think
I can sit through this.
Speaker 7 (02:41):
I don't.
Speaker 2 (02:41):
I don't like the series sating. Look, man, all you
gotta do is watch fifteen them fifteen You don't get it.
Speaker 4 (02:46):
Right, Yeah, I don't have that many hours available.
Speaker 6 (02:50):
It's like the only reason I would really want to
see is because I've heard there was a Starbucks like
cup in one of the episodes.
Speaker 2 (02:55):
You watch it on YouTube.
Speaker 3 (02:57):
So the cool thing is that IMDb they had this
whole list. So I do agree with a lot of these.
I mean, Game of Thrones obviously we haven't seen that,
but Stranger Things, the Walking Dead, Yeah, thirteen reasons why.
Speaker 2 (03:07):
I haven't seen that one? So good? Orange is the
New Black, Audiest that was good, It was good until
it what it was the last two seasons or the
last season it got kind of and then Gray's Anatomy
Riverdale in the flash.
Speaker 4 (03:18):
But the fact that Like Friends ain't on there makes
me go, wait a second, come on, literally everybody, they.
Speaker 2 (03:23):
Weren't in the top ten, they could be past top ten. Wow.
But I agree. Now everybody who watched Games of Throne
loves it. I just never got I didn't get a
chance to get a weekend is over some Mondays they
you guys thinking, what did y'all do? We like to
share with you and we'll do that next on Johnny's
House see Magic and the Celtics and set around. I'm
gonna tell you it was fifty to fifty Celtics Magic
fans and the Celtics fans drink a lot. They're not
(03:46):
violent though, they just drink a lot. They just I mean,
there was one guy. He was really nice. He was
drunk and uh and he anytime you go get a
beer like you need one, Nah No, I'm good, like
I don't know, you might spit in it or something.
I looking like that Saturday got the kid up, did
some work. That's how I used to do it growing up.
Saturday Morning, get your butts up. We got work to do.
(04:06):
We cleaned the pool area, worked in the garden, pressure
washed some things, replanted some things. I say, hey, this
is how I used to do when I was a kid.
Saturday mornings you get up and go to work. And
then yesterday just grilled outside and chilled. I think we
had a We jumped in the pool after we started
working on Saturday. But yesterday just grilled and watched some basketball.
Ray how about you? It was good.
Speaker 3 (04:25):
Friday, I picked up the twins and we just had
like a nice relaxing night at home. And then Saturday,
my mom was watching my nephew and my niece, so
I met up with her with the twins and we
just had like a pool day and had a family day.
And then yesterday we went to King's Landing and we
did it's over by.
Speaker 2 (04:44):
Like you thinking of the King's Dominion, Is that like
a theme park somewhere? There is somewhere somewhere. I'm not
here locally.
Speaker 3 (04:52):
Yeaha area, so it's out there, but it like it
all connects to like Wakaiva and all that.
Speaker 2 (04:58):
So but it was really cool and we spent like
the whole weekend outside. Really, that's one thing about a
kid in a pool. If you had a kid in
the pool there occupy all day. Yeah, you can tell
when they when they drank too much water because the
right film, Yeah, out of the water.
Speaker 3 (05:15):
My kids are past that part of their life, thank god,
because now like they're petrified to even swallow the water,
to put that fear in their head.
Speaker 2 (05:22):
Yes, and I looked it up. King's Dominion is in
Virginia and tickets go for forty two dollars. Yes, I'm
I'm assuming it's not a really big place. They got
a big roller coaster. Thing's tall, but only one though, Yeah,
it's huge. I mean it's in Virginia. Yeah, So I mean,
I bet you Caro Wins is that price? How much.
Speaker 5 (05:41):
It is? Not?
Speaker 2 (05:43):
You just triggered the man. I know that Carowins is
right next to Charlotte. It's in between North and South
Carolina border. There's a roller coaster. Realized I was like, oh,
there is much.
Speaker 4 (05:53):
Fifty seven dollars pretty close.
Speaker 2 (05:56):
Fifty seven dollars really? Yeah, that's all? Yeah? Wow, Okayron,
how was you? It was good Friday night.
Speaker 4 (06:04):
My wife and I went to uh see Anthony Hamilton
over at uc F arena because she's a big show.
Speaker 2 (06:10):
Yeah he did.
Speaker 4 (06:11):
He said he wasn't gonna do it, but.
Speaker 2 (06:15):
Yeah, yeah, so we did that. That was cool little
day night.
Speaker 4 (06:17):
And then uh, Saturday, we're just laying around the house
and we decided to go to Leesburg for Bike Festa,
come to see all the motorcycles and stuff. And Litt
was playing on stage that night. So we were just
gonna go for a few hours. And then the next thing,
you know, uh is about twelve thirty and we uber
and home. Wow Leesburg because we couldn't drive. How how
crowd it was. It was pretty packed, but it was cool.
(06:38):
They put on a good event. There was I mean
it was it was really well, we're on There was
a lot of motorcycles. They shut down the streets in
downtown Leesburg to only motorcycle traffic. Okay, so the motorcycles
could just cruise through. So it was it was It
was pretty cool. Some listeners came up and said hello,
So hello to Cintia I think her name is. She
said us to take a photo, which cool. She said
that she's a bigger fan of my wife than me.
(07:00):
That's so my uh so yeah, so we did that.
But that means we had to go back to leeds
Bird to get our car yesterday.
Speaker 2 (07:06):
Yeah. So oh how much is an uber from leeds
Burgh too? With the tip? It was eighty nine dollars? Yeah,
way more.
Speaker 4 (07:14):
I spent more on the uber than I did on
the drinks because the drinks were incredibly affordable at six dollars.
Speaker 2 (07:20):
Okay, yeah, that's why I was pounding Captain and coach.
Six dollars. Now you almost have to buy a bunch
of them. Yeah, at those prices, man, I'm still looking
at Carolan season ticket dollars. Okay.
Speaker 8 (07:41):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (07:41):
I was busy with all the sports happening.
Speaker 6 (07:43):
Pride City Valkyries, they all took up my weekend, yes,
which I will talk about calling all three team ones.
Speaker 2 (07:51):
Yes, shout out to them. Yeah. They crushed it.
Speaker 6 (07:53):
And surprisingly enough, I did not go out after even
though I really wanted to.
Speaker 2 (07:58):
I was your body has to say an It was
my feet. My feet were like pounding tired.
Speaker 6 (08:03):
And then I just knew I had a whole nother
day the next day, so I was like, just behave
go home. I did my laundry and then but yesterday
was pretty fulfilling too. I went to church in the morning,
I briefly stopped by a birthday party with one of
our my friends. She's in the sister station, so you know,
you guys know yeah, and then went to the Valkyrie
game and then wrapped up my nose.
Speaker 2 (08:22):
Every time you walk into church, stop playing with me.
Should Lord is good? Lord is good? All the time?
She tapped? Did you tap the plate? Tapped the plate?
You sure didn't you a plate?
Speaker 6 (08:37):
Well, we do things digitally now, oh, okay, you know,
so you tapped it digitally. Then there you go. I
know I'm asking you not this week. So you're trying
to lie again.
Speaker 2 (08:47):
It's what you're doing. You ain't even hearing the work
you're lying on church. Let me tell you back in
the day before it was digital, it was an actual
little wood plate that went by. Everybody saw what everybody passed.
Everybody we went by, I saw. I used to fake it.
It's just like, ma, ain't nothing come out of your head?
Envelope that's going around this time or digital? And you
(09:12):
didn't do either?
Speaker 9 (09:12):
They are.
Speaker 2 (09:14):
You either did or you didn't. It's a simple question.
I asked a simple question. The reason I tapped it?
I asked a big question, and you chose to lie
about church pressing me with this as long as it
you know, I'm gonna tell you this. All you gotta
do is when people press you up said this before,
all you gotta do is say God knows my heart.
(09:35):
That's all you got. That's all you gotta say.
Speaker 4 (09:38):
All debates putting that one down on the list. And
if you just said that, I'd be like, all right,
But instead you lie about given.
Speaker 2 (09:46):
To the church. Just didn't tell the whole truth. That's
a lie mission.
Speaker 4 (09:50):
It is not a lot yeshnest you over here line.
Speaker 2 (09:56):
We're gonna change it because you're getting deeper and deeper as
quickly to find out in life. Right now, do you
have about up playing own Johnnie's house? Anybody is happening today?
We got to get host. Happened yesterday it was nothing,
So today forty chance eighty nine was a high sixty
nine Right now, raise somebody else?
Speaker 3 (10:16):
Oh my god, that's got a rude. That's what I
said you I respect it. So somebody sent me if
you didn't know. In Australia they've been using an a
I radio hosts for six months.
Speaker 2 (10:31):
She's got like an image.
Speaker 4 (10:32):
There's controversy around it because they didn't tell anyone now,
so they basically were making you think you were talking
to a person.
Speaker 3 (10:38):
Yeah it was, And so like that's the thing. When
they finally revealed that this person that they've been listening
to building this like mental relationship with obviously like our
listeners do with us, that this person was an AI.
And so a listener sent it to me and they
were like, oh my gosh, did you see this? In Australia,
they have AI radio hosts. Now, do you have a
(10:59):
backup plan? And I'm like, I'm sorry what.
Speaker 2 (11:02):
I didn't say. I'm sorry what to them, But like
in my head, I'm like, huh, but here's the crazy thing,
right right, if if somebody right now, let's say they
started two years ago and just recorded every one of
your breaks, every time you spoke, and they fed it
into an AI and they brought that AI in here,
it will respond like you I know, and it's frightening.
Speaker 3 (11:22):
It is very disturbing, and I'm like, you know what,
like I can't be mad at them asking if I
have a backup plan because AI and robots and technology
is literally taking over everything.
Speaker 2 (11:32):
Or trying to. So I'm like, so, how'd you answer
that I did. I left him on rust. I left
them on right because I didn't know how to answer.
She re evaluated her life.
Speaker 3 (11:43):
I would say, well, this is a rude awakening on
a Saturday morning.
Speaker 2 (11:45):
But here's something I don't know if I shared on
the air. I'm sure after all these years I have.
The first time I was fired in radio, uh, the
only time I was firing radio, I was in my
hometown and I worked at a heavy metal station and
they said, we don't do EOE anymore, and they fired me.
I locked myself in the room for three days because
I was in I wasn't at an apartment, I had
a girlfriend, I ain't had no job, And I locked
(12:07):
myself in the room for three days and until my
friends came over, and uh, and I came out and
I said, you know what, I'm never gonna let radio
be my soul source of income. So after that, I
just started doing side jobs and started doing investing in
some things, and and and I did that till I
was comfortable with them out. I had saved up. So
if you had to ask me now, if I have
a plan, be now, I'm gonna ride the thing to
(12:29):
the wheels fall off. Yeah, I don't have one. I
had back in the day, I had one. I ain't
got one now, this is it? How about you?
Speaker 4 (12:36):
I didn't for the longest time, and I should have
because I've known from for a long time that there's
no security and it gets less and less and less
every year, honestly. But I do now, I've got I've
got actually multiple and some of them are not like
full on, like inactive yet. I'm working on them, but
I mean I could do it within within weeks if necessary. Yeah,
(12:58):
so yeah, I absolutely to do now.
Speaker 2 (13:00):
Yeah yeah, yeah, uh in reason, Yeah, for sure.
Speaker 6 (13:04):
Massaging absolutely when I when I graduated high school, the
first thing I got into was my massage program. And
when I realized how much money that was making me,
I was able to pay for my tuition.
Speaker 2 (13:14):
I never pulled a student loan.
Speaker 6 (13:15):
I got my braces, I you know, my car, And
when I realized the finance that I was supporting myself
with that income, I said, I'm never losing my license. Yeah,
I actually have to renew it this year. You're really, Yeah,
it's two years. Yeah, No, I guess it's good to
have one. But the first time that I got fired,
I didn't have I didn't have anything.
Speaker 3 (13:34):
That's not like I'm not worried, like I know that
I would find something and then be fine whatever.
Speaker 2 (13:39):
But yeah, it was like a wake up car. I
never wanted to feel that way again. And here's the thing.
I've been here, I think, coming on thirty five years,
I've never felt secure in this job ever. It just comes.
Why you just deal with it. Yeah, you know, we
had around the fireings here a couple of months ago,
and the thing about I'm wanst say scared because I'm
(13:59):
gonn afraid of that stuff. The thing that bothers me
to know there was no clues, no education, no nothing
in the past. That was a little you know. And
I heard something going down and I was like, hey,
is something going down? Yeah, And then I went back
to all they said, yes, I'm going And some of it's.
Speaker 4 (14:13):
Variables you can't control, which is bad, and then some
of the things that you can control, they're starting to
take away from you. And then it's like, wait a second,
I'm gonna lose my job and I can't do nothing
about it.
Speaker 2 (14:21):
Nothing, what nothing? Take this?
Speaker 4 (14:25):
Yeah, yeah, no, that's I started working on backup plans
about five years ago. Before that, I was like, I
figured out because my level of figured it out is
off the charts. My entire life, I've figured it out.
Yeah yeah, but I started actually actively geling. Okay, if
something were to go down, how do I keep what
I got? I want to find out from you. Do
you have a plan B? Gonna get somebody?
Speaker 2 (14:47):
Pair of take you see Lea Michelle Hard Rock Live
on Thursday, Made the eighth. Would you guys just tell
us do you have a backup plan? I don't have
one now my backup plan is over there. Good to
go four O seven now and nine one on six
seven eight seven seven now one nine one on six
seven XL mobile four one on sixty seven Live streamers
want to hear from you social media speak up? Do
(15:08):
you have a plan B or a backup plan? We
want to hear a story and one of you for
calling us Leam Michel's and at the hard Rock Live
on Thursday, May eighth, You're gonna go. We gotta hear
your story. First of call us now on Johnny's Hot
whatever cent chance of that or none of that may happen.
High today have eighty nine. It is sixty nine right now.
They have Australian DJs that are AI, and people don't
even know for what sixty you say, six week to
(15:29):
six months months? Six months? They didn't know. Then people
like say, what I'm angry? Were mad at you were listening?
You couldn't I know.
Speaker 4 (15:36):
But the reason they were mad is because they feel
lied to, like that that AI DJ, like I did,
did I know what you're going through?
Speaker 2 (15:42):
What happened to me? Like it? It told stories as
if it was real. She had like an image, like
people had a picture of her.
Speaker 4 (15:49):
And so that's because look, if you want to use AI,
use it and just tell people it's a I. That
way they know it's not a person that they're making
a connection with. They're just talking to a robot.
Speaker 2 (15:57):
And the thing is they could probably do that here
and just say, well the person's out of market. We
wouldn't know, no, would have no idea. So I want
to find and so they when that happened, they asked Ray, Hey,
this is happening like it's going from Australia to Ray.
What's she gonna do about it? Australia? Ray? So Ray,
do you have a plan? B So we want to
ask you, do you have a plan B and one
of you were going to hook you up with takes
(16:17):
see Lil Michelle. Hard Rock Live on Thursday made the
eighth from DELTONA. Evan, what's up, Evan? How you been Evan?
Speaker 5 (16:26):
I'm all right, I've been all right.
Speaker 2 (16:28):
Left is going good?
Speaker 5 (16:29):
I'm right, So all right? So this is it. Like
I had a plan of being like a professional baseball player.
If that didn't work out, then becoming a cop. If
that didn't work out, then going to the Navy. God
has different plans. I had got in a car accident,
wiped out all that out. I had to like rethink.
Became a medical assistant. That didn't work out. So then
(16:50):
I became a car detailer that didn't work out. And
I became a flootomist that didn't work out. And now
I'm in the ah back field. I thought it was
gonna be an ah back technician working on the bruise
and all that, learning how to p six scenes. And
I'm in the office now.
Speaker 7 (17:06):
So it's whatever God wants.
Speaker 2 (17:08):
You to be, man, that's right, that's it. I mean
with you, hey, you pivot, you will pivot.
Speaker 5 (17:15):
I have my hands a little bit of everything, so
I'm knowledgeable with spoon.
Speaker 2 (17:19):
So man, now when you're filling out a resume, you
put all that on there just them.
Speaker 10 (17:25):
No.
Speaker 5 (17:27):
Actually, I very bet I've been blessed because I believe
I had to put resumes out like this job I
got now fell in my hands. I was cleaning the
vans just for side of work. And then the guy's like, hey,
you did a great job. You want to do this
more often? I was like yeah, sure. And then something
else happening there, like hey we need this compressure up
to Jacksonville. They're like, have E been taken? And the
(17:48):
guy's like, well, Evan's not an employee. He can't take
it into company. Back He's like, all right, give that
in the phone. Hey you want to work for us?
Speaker 2 (17:54):
Sure the bag? All right? I mean we can't hit
your whole resume right here on the radio right now.
I'd like to hear that though. From Orlando, June, good morning,
good morning, Hello you got a backup playing? Uh yes
right now. I am an engineer.
Speaker 11 (18:10):
I just graduated college last May, okay, and I got
my first job in August, and then like you know,
four or five months into it, like because of big
changes happening, it seems like they're about to fire a
lot of people of thinking, oh what am I going
to do, and everyone like around me saying like it
(18:31):
could be a good thing for you because you want
to move abroad, to move to Poland with your girlfriend anyway,
so maybe this is uh what so.
Speaker 2 (18:40):
Are you calling us from Poland? No? No hold on right.
Speaker 3 (18:46):
Somebody says, Unfortunately, I don't have a backup plan. I've
been at my current job for twenty years. Hopefully I
could stay there till retirement.
Speaker 2 (18:52):
Yeah, good luck?
Speaker 4 (18:52):
What XL MOBI power by Torney Dan Newland Interact need
to check. It's a no brainer. Just called Attorney Dan Newln.
Someone said they have a.
Speaker 2 (18:59):
Back that ass up Land Only fans, baby, I mean
soon not everybody that goes the only makes money. June,
We're gonna hook you out with those ticket se Lia
Michelle at the hard Rock Library. What's going on?
Speaker 3 (19:10):
One of the key suspects for Kim Kardashian that Paris
robbery that happened unfortunately has passed away.
Speaker 2 (19:16):
Well damn Yeah, information on.
Speaker 1 (19:17):
Way now the Johnny's House Entertainment News with Rae.
Speaker 3 (19:22):
All right, So on March six, there is a dude
that passed away. And this guy was one of the
key suspects in the Kim Kardashian Paris robbery. Uh so
he just died suddenly just as the case against him
was about to go to trial.
Speaker 2 (19:40):
He was two year old, seventy two Okay, you can
do something.
Speaker 3 (19:44):
You can't die, yeah, But that he was working he
or he was accused on working alongside the gang that
held up Kim Kardashian at gunpoint in twenty sixteen. So
he's seventy two years old, or was, and was expected
to go on trial on Monday today alongside others that
were accused of being involved in the ten million dollar
(20:05):
robbery against Kim Kardashian.
Speaker 2 (20:07):
So she has to be there. She has to be there.
I'd be like, you know what, she's taken the stand.
There's too many things that are happening.
Speaker 3 (20:13):
Yeah, So Kim Kardashian is going to take the stand
at the trial. At this it's like a Parisian underground
gang that allegedly robbed her. And so she'll appear in court.
So it looks like it says in May, which is
obviously this week. So she previously gave the judge in
the Paris robbery case like a blow by blow of
what happened. But now she's got the opportunity to tell
(20:35):
the jury what went down. But that dude, the seventy
two year old that was working alongside the gang.
Speaker 2 (20:41):
The seventy two year old said, Hey, I thought we
had to judges and all of a sudden control, I'm
not taking this wrap by myself, Papa.
Speaker 3 (20:48):
So he is no longer part of the trial. ROSEO,
this is weird. Rose Old Donnel has been like pales
with Lyle Menendez, one of the Menendez brothers, and I
guess she's got him on.
Speaker 2 (21:00):
Like speed dial didn Ireland? Yeah she did. Okay, So she.
Speaker 3 (21:05):
Was talking about how she's very close friends with the
convicted killer, Lyle Menendez, admitting that she and Lyle chat
on the phone between two and three times each week.
Speaker 2 (21:16):
Is that crazy?
Speaker 3 (21:17):
So no, that's the two of them are friends, explaining
they got in touch in twenty twenty two because of
the Netflix documentary obviously, and she like, we didn't know
that they were very very close until she actually just
came out and she said, uh, that they have like this,
she has this belief in the Menende's brother brothers. Obviously
that they're going to be released, but she believes it
(21:38):
because she talks to him every other night every week.
Speaker 2 (21:42):
What you's nothing, right?
Speaker 3 (21:45):
Yeah, So it's weird because Rosie says that Lyle Menendez
helped her child Clay, encourage him to like do all
these like different things because he's got autism and so
like many prisoners, the facility, I guess work with autistic kids,
and Lyle Menandez has helped Rosie o'donald's autistic son.
Speaker 2 (22:06):
Well, I mean that shows why she likes me.
Speaker 5 (22:08):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (22:08):
Anytime you can make a positive impact on somebody's child's life,
you do it with me.
Speaker 3 (22:12):
But I'm like, this is such a weird like conception.
But the fact that they talk so much and their
bond is so strong.
Speaker 2 (22:19):
You find friends in all places, even in jail. Yeah,
convicted her parents.
Speaker 3 (22:23):
This is an awesome list the dumbest reasons somebody became
famous in the United States, And I'm like, celebrity, trash,
entertainment news, this is perfect.
Speaker 2 (22:32):
Okay.
Speaker 3 (22:33):
The balloon boy, remember him? His hoax went viral where
they were saying that his six year old or the
six year old was trapped in a homemade balloon. A
seven thousand feet up in the air.
Speaker 6 (22:42):
Yes, yeah, there was, but there was no Okay, got
you remember that talk to h Yeah.
Speaker 2 (22:49):
Sure. The Island Boys, I cannot stand somebody told that
boy he could fight. He damn got killed the other night.
I mean really, it was crazy, like a minute thirty seconds.
Speaker 6 (22:59):
Yeah, there was a viral video of them making out.
Speaker 2 (23:03):
Gave million dollars kids them, Yeah, four million. Yeah, I mean.
Speaker 4 (23:11):
Literally, kiss is a four million dollars your dumba, I
might kiss form Yeah, I kiss anybody.
Speaker 2 (23:23):
Honey boo boo.
Speaker 3 (23:24):
Obviously, bad baby, catch me outside? Sure obviously the Kardashians, Uh,
the product, yes, yes.
Speaker 2 (23:35):
Absolutely, it was. The fame got them out there.
Speaker 3 (23:36):
Though, being on teen Mom having eight kids optimized eating
a bunch of hot dogs obviously. So I'm like, we
make the dumbest, not the dumbest people, but people famous
for the dumbest reason.
Speaker 2 (23:49):
Okay, they were famous for having how many kids? Yeah,
that was it. That was that was what they were famous.
And then the show showed how bad. Yeah they were
terrible people. Jake Paul's on the list. Yeah, yeah, for sure.
It's obviously a bunch of bunch of things. Wow, and
all these people a millionaires, Johnny Kate so famous. Yeah,
(24:11):
was it was it John that took out? Was the
brand he took out? My man loves some shiny shirt
and I had just gotten me a hat too. I
bet it wasn't she too at the time. Yeah, they did,
every single handedly took them out. All right, we'll find
out what's trading in the nine of high sixty nine
right now. Maarice was trendon.
Speaker 6 (24:32):
Yeah, we had quite the weekend with major sport games
taking place literally every day, so we're going to break
that down real quick. On Friday, the women's Pride soccer team,
they locked in their win over Angels City with the
score of three to two. It was truly a tight
match as Pride secured all three points right near the
end of the game, making it the second latest two
goal comeback win in the National Women's Soccer League history.
(24:52):
Men's City Soccer they got their dub on Saturday night
against our rival teams Atlanta United with the clean score
of three to zero.
Speaker 2 (24:58):
Shout out to Marco p. Pasalak.
Speaker 6 (25:01):
He's one of our newest players from Croatio who was
recently added to the team. Last night, the Solo Bears,
they got their win for Game seven against the Sting
Race for the South Division semi finals.
Speaker 2 (25:11):
This Tuesday is the last game of the series. It
is in.
Speaker 6 (25:15):
It's an away game, but the winner will advance to
the South Division Finals of the twenty twenty five Kelly
Cup Playoffs.
Speaker 2 (25:20):
So good luck Bear win on Friday, but that they
lost last night. Yeah yeah.
Speaker 6 (25:26):
On Friday, Game three, we proved to the Celtics and
we did not come to play.
Speaker 2 (25:29):
We got that secured win ninety five to ninety three.
Speaker 6 (25:32):
But unfortunately last night Game four, we suffered the loss
of Game four, pushing the Celtics to lead the Eastern
Conference series with three to one. Game five is tomorrow.
It is an away game. Let's go Magic, Let's get
that win. Also last night, the Valkyries wrapped up their
last home game of the regular season with the win
against the Columbus Fury with the final match score of
three to one. The playoffs playoffs is going to happen
(25:53):
May ninth through the eleventh, and it's going to take
place out in Vegas.
Speaker 2 (25:57):
Okay, all right, all right, it is time for you
to wake the city up with your hype song. Not
your favorite song, the song you like to hear a lot,
but a song that when you hear it, it gets
you up, It gets you going, it gets you moving. Lately,
y'all just been wanting to hear your favorite song on radio?
All right? We want to hear a song that wakes
people up, get your moving. When you hear it, everybody's
(26:17):
excited because that song gets you hype. That's why we
started this to wake everybody up on a Monday. And like,
I promise you're gonna hook you up with some xl
one O six seven Summer Splash ticket. It's gonna happening
this weekend at Aquatica is the biggest beach party in Orlando.
And listen, if you've always wanted to go to Aquatica

(26:38):

really night. Yep. You ever have the runner, you want
to ride the slide, get up on it, run back around,
get on again Summer Splash and can get your tickets
now at xcel one o sixty seven dot com. So
what is your hype song? A song that gets you up,
gets your going, get your moving not your favorite song,
but your hype song. Four oh seven nine one nine
(26:58):
one o six seven eight seven seven nine one nine
one o six seven. We get hype, you get tickets
to Summer Splash. You got to call this so we
can get hyped together on Johnny's house, Sonny. Hopefully they're
expecting it big times for us to get some rain
because it is really dry. All you talk about is
is a fire watchers and stuff like that. Man, you know,
around here people get all crazy and next thing you know,
(27:19):
they'd be like, oh, you know what year was it?
Years ago? Everything was on Oh and they cancel fireworks. Yes,
So hopefully we'll get some rain today. High today of
eighty nine. It is sixty eight right now. Question how
long does it wait? Do you wait to go public
with the relationship, because now it's social media. Now you
know you're in a relationship when you're gonna you post
it on social media. I have a philosophy. I don't
(27:40):
post anybody up date unless I'm engaged in marriage. Just
won't do it. And people like you know what, and
even told me around here, John you got to open
up your life to the listeners. And I do ninety
percent of it. But for me personally, I just think
because no one if you date someone, ain't signed up
for the stuff that we're You know that we do.
You know next thing you know, Hey, you you lose
your identity because you date someone on the show, your
(28:01):
so and so's significant other. So for me, I don't
do it. I just don't. And it's good. The person
I'm seeing now, I don't want to be in it.
She had no desire to be in photos.
Speaker 1 (28:11):
Now.
Speaker 2 (28:12):
It's not like I hide her. She doesn't want it.
Even I mean, you guys know you met her. She's cool.
I posted a photo Friday from the game and it
was maybe thirty percent of her face, and people's like, oh,
it's a slow role. No, you won't see the photo.
Oh my gosh.
Speaker 3 (28:27):
The amount of messages that I got, I'm like, yes,
he's in a relationship, yes.
Speaker 2 (28:33):
But no, I don't. I don't. I got this firm
believe I just don't. I don't post it for me.
If it's a real relationship, it's something that you want
to grow. And unless I'm engaged or getting married, you'll
never see a photo. I just don't do it. It's just
because I don't want to be that guy because I've
dated a few people and I think it takes something
away from the current relationship. Even the least relationship I
was in, I never posted photos. It didn't mean I
(28:55):
didn't care about them, you know less, I just don't.
I just don't do that. That should not my thing. Ray.
How long did it take for you and him go?
I think it was like a couple of months. Actually, really,
how do you signe on something like that? Well, I mean,
I say it right, I bet I don't post photos. Yeah,
from again, there is no consion, no confusion. No, why
didn't you because if you don't want that, then we
(29:17):
stop right now.
Speaker 3 (29:17):
I just feel like it's hard because I do like
to share my life with everybody, and so so you.
Speaker 2 (29:23):
Grew up in an age you know, I'm I'm I
think I'm out like Brian is still in. I'm out
of the age where you know, I don't. It's not
normal natural for me to share. You guys do it
all the time. It's natural. It's a natural way of
life for you. I have to stop and make myself
do it.
Speaker 3 (29:38):
I come from the generation where it's like, okay, if
we're official. I got to update my status on social.
Speaker 2 (29:44):
You know what I'm saying.
Speaker 3 (29:45):
Like I remember in like high school, being like I
went from single to dating or like relationship and you
would tag that's do you know how many times good social.
Speaker 2 (29:58):
Media it's complicated just to personal argument. Yeah, it's complicated.
And then they would get the notification and be like.
Speaker 9 (30:06):
What is this?
Speaker 2 (30:07):
I mean, you know what it is? Has changed her status?
Speaker 7 (30:09):
What?
Speaker 2 (30:10):
Yeah, I did not need. So that's what I'm used to.
But I like, I feel like I love.
Speaker 3 (30:16):
I like to show my love, you know, like I
like to show what I'm doing with my significant other.
Speaker 2 (30:21):
Yeah no, and that's cool. I mean, like I said,
you grew up in that. I still It's not that
I fight it. It's just never became normal for me.
Posting is not normal for me. At the game because
the station gave me the tickets, I felt obligated to
post something because they gave them to me, you know,
so I you know, put something together and throw it
out there. But I didn't have that conversation.
Speaker 3 (30:38):
I'm like, obviously you're gonna have a lot of creepers
that come to your page, and like she has a
daughter as well, and so I'm like, I don't know
if you want to set your page as private or what. Oh, yeah,
it's unfortunate that we have to have that.
Speaker 4 (30:49):
And Brian, you, like you said, you grew up in
that generation and my wife and I were together before
social media, so like there was none of that changing
of status stuff with me before because we've been together
since social media started. So when social media started, we
were in pictures together on social media.
Speaker 2 (31:02):
That would bother me so much that if I have
an argument, you know, you have an argument at night,
you know what, we'll just talk about tomorrow and I
wake up, you change your status still as complicated. Yeah,
that just made matters worse.
Speaker 4 (31:14):
I'm now, what the hell is that point to let
everybody know that he ain't act right?
Speaker 2 (31:19):
See I was a little insecure when I was a
little younger. Oh so you're ready to start dating again. Yeah,
that's that's why you update that, because you want the
guys to know, did you single? If you want to
be single. I doesn't say single, it does complicated relationship.
It's just compliment. Complicated means going over for somebody to
talk to you. That's what I means.
Speaker 6 (31:35):
We're speaking on behalf of the people that do this
like you sound trigger like did.
Speaker 2 (31:39):
This happen to you?
Speaker 5 (31:40):
No?
Speaker 2 (31:40):
I just don't. That sounds like you know what you
would have said.
Speaker 4 (31:43):
It's best that this all happened after Jen and I
were together, because I'm like you, I've been like, what
what the hell?
Speaker 2 (31:51):
Yeah, we had a little argument.
Speaker 4 (31:54):
It ain't complicated. Actually, let me explain to you. I mean,
actually prett simple. The fact that you think it's complicated
is what's making it complicated.
Speaker 3 (32:04):
Underneath the notification saying like, no, no, it's not that complicated, because.
Speaker 2 (32:07):
This is what happens.
Speaker 4 (32:08):
I know, it's pretty simple. Actually, I want to put
the big eyes like, right, yeah, we've been there the
whole time, so we share each other stuff. But now
people like I told you guys over the weekend, we're
in Lisburg and someone rolls up and they say, oh
my gosh, I'm a big fan of your wife. Like
people like her, some people like her more than me.
I can totally understand why I'm I'm I'm I'm not
for everyone. So but she is. She's good at it,
(32:28):
like she also uses social media for her jobs. It's
in real estate, so she also has to be very personable.
So it works out Marisa, how long does it take?
Speaker 6 (32:36):
I feel like I'm going to push pool situation because
obviously I've been single for a mad minute now. So
if I'm gonna be with someone, first of all, it
means to be like secured, locked in, ready to go.
And I would say, like maybe six months.
Speaker 2 (32:49):
I think you wear your heart on your sleep and
if you met someone and how you gonna tell them
about me? I work with you, if you met someone
and you feel that that person loves you, and you
love that person in two weeks, for God blinks at you,
you bring him to our events. Hold, well, yeah, because
I'm testing the water is one way or the other.
(33:10):
Social media is a whole different. That's how they end
up on social media, and I'm learning so.
Speaker 6 (33:14):
But sure, That's why I'm in a push pull situation
where it's like I'm eager. I know this for sure,
I cannot wait to be in a relationship and do
the whole couple thing and post it and do the reels.
But at the same time, I'm like, I gotta respect
the boundaries because you know, you set the tone here.
Speaker 2 (33:26):
Again, I'm thirty five years this crew has only met
four women I've ever dated.
Speaker 6 (33:31):
Oh, Yeah, that's true. Yeah, dang, I did that in
one year. Yeah, one year, and you're being really generous
to yourself.
Speaker 4 (33:41):
You have three different dudes and three different events back
to back to back in the same month.
Speaker 2 (33:48):
It's a learning process. I will say.
Speaker 4 (33:49):
No, no, no, We're not saying that you shouldn't. We're
just saying to be honest with yourself, that's all we're saying.
Speaker 2 (33:54):
No, you have such a big heart. If you fail
for a guy and you felt this, he felt he
failed for you, that you guys have falling it together,
you're gonna put it on a flag. You'd be like,
we just sitting here, Johnny. You know I'm in love,
don't you? I know her? No, you love to hot.
I'm happy for you.
Speaker 3 (34:09):
Next Monday, I'm scared of I'm scared to order some glacamoleagus.
I'm scared it's gonna be eating.
Speaker 4 (34:15):
Rebot somebody coming up on the anniversary of the first bust,
the dude you brought up.
Speaker 2 (34:19):
All I want to find out from you. How long
does it take for you to go public with a
relationship four oh seven nine one nine one on six
seven eight seven seven nine one nine one on six
seven XL Mobile four one on sixty seven social media,
livet Street. You want to hear from you in a relationship?
How long does it take for you to go public?
Either on social media in real life? We're going to
talk to you now on Johnny SuDS some rain, looking
(34:40):
at the little lake outside the window that bad boys
almost dried up. Yeah, I know right, I mean it's
dried up. It's gonna be a slight chance of showers
possible thunderstorm than sunny high of eighty nine. It is
sixty nine right now. How long does it take for
you to go public in a relationship, being with friends,
family or on social media? Uh, let's talk to John Castleberry.
What's up John?
Speaker 7 (35:00):
Hey?
Speaker 2 (35:01):
What's up?
Speaker 10 (35:01):
Guys?
Speaker 7 (35:01):
Parking lot zero zero for five.
Speaker 12 (35:03):
Yeah, okay, they tore the building down, man, but go ahead,
man r I p uh So.
Speaker 7 (35:13):
I would say about about.
Speaker 13 (35:16):
Like six months. I'm kind of kind of like nourice,
I kind of kind of wear my heart on my sleep.
But I am starting to, uh, you know, take that
three month rule into place, and then after that, if
we become official, you know, do six months of saying, hey,
can I post you on social media without asking permission?
Speaker 5 (35:35):
And stuff like that.
Speaker 2 (35:36):
No, I mean I get that because if it doesn't
work out, then you're like, wait, wouldn't John seeing somebody?
Oh yeah I missed that part. Yeah.
Speaker 5 (35:46):
So uh.
Speaker 7 (35:46):
The last person I was with was probably about like
less than a year and she didn't post anything about me,
and I would post like women Crush Wednesday about her.
Speaker 5 (35:54):
So I kind of just you.
Speaker 2 (35:57):
Gotta be careful when somebody doesn't want they're hiding post
things about you, then someone respecting your privacy because I
said no.
Speaker 13 (36:05):
No, I total, hey, like we've been more than official officials,
So what's going on?
Speaker 2 (36:11):
Like she said, but don't tell nobody, right, don't tell
noboudy all right, john thanks man from Orlando.
Speaker 8 (36:19):
Linda, Hi, I'm a first time caller.
Speaker 2 (36:24):
H first time call. We got a first time call
the number that we're gonna hook you up with. So
it's just for you and as soon as we find
it and get it, get your noted rise. What is
in THEE five zero six eight? What's your number?
Speaker 10 (36:35):
Linda, five zero six eight.
Speaker 2 (36:37):
I want to personally welcome you to Johnny's house. Don't
be a stranger, Okay.
Speaker 13 (36:42):
Thank you?
Speaker 2 (36:42):
All right?
Speaker 8 (36:44):
So with me, I'm not really a social media person
like that, I post maybe once in a while, but
my current relationship right now, we started dating in twenty
twenty two. I didn't post him until twenty twenty four. Rag,
Well it wasn't Oh no, I'm sure, I just don't
want people in my business. But my family already knew
(37:07):
about him like way before that anyways, But in twenty
twenty four, that's when I posted him for my birthday
and it was in my story and it was a
picture far away, so like you have to do a
man to actually say his face.
Speaker 2 (37:19):
What experience did you have in your life that you
didn't you decide right now you don't want people in
your business?
Speaker 6 (37:28):
Nothing?
Speaker 14 (37:28):
Really, I just I'm not actually sure.
Speaker 8 (37:33):
I think it's just mainly because I just don't see
much of the oppeal of posting, like everything in life
and social like social media. That and I enjoy like
my just my inner peace and just to that's something
that we have, Yeah, and that's something we had a
mutual connection with because we both were the same Like
(37:53):
he really does the same thing on social media. Is
that Actually until we started dating, he started to put
like pictures here and there.
Speaker 14 (38:00):
So but we were about the same.
Speaker 8 (38:04):
It was funny because when I posted him a twenty
thry four A couple of months later, that's when I
posted our engagement photos, and a lot of the engagements
were like what we.
Speaker 14 (38:14):
Got engaged last year? They were confused.
Speaker 8 (38:17):
Yeah, they were like what I would be too?
Speaker 2 (38:20):
All right, you hold on a second.
Speaker 4 (38:21):
Be what they say over the man XL we will
power by Attorney dan Neulin Interact need to check it
and a brainer call attorney dan Neoln Someone said we
were together three months before social media.
Speaker 2 (38:31):
They said they.
Speaker 4 (38:31):
Wanted to do it after a month, but her husband
wanted to wait until three months, so they waited till
three months. And they've been married fifteen years now. So okay,
I guess it worked out. Yeah, all right, CELEBN news
is on the way.
Speaker 3 (38:42):
One of the big whistleblowers and victims of Jeffrey Ebstein
is no longer.
Speaker 2 (38:48):
Here really Yeah, so that.
Speaker 3 (38:51):
Giving a gift or getting a gift from her mother
was the way to one's heart and so like it
was just all over the place with her family, but
claiming that she felt like an ATM for a long
time both at home. Yeah, and so I guess they're
opening up about like the whole like up and coming
of their family. But Mamma June is opening up about
like her cocaine addiction and all of that stuff over
the last several years. So the relationship obviously is never
(39:14):
going to be there anymore between those two.
Speaker 2 (39:16):
I remember she was passing through Center Florida. She's trying
to sell the tennis shoes, her hus shoes shoes. Yes,
so it's very, very sad. Just show that these reality
shows they chew you up and spit you out, and
nowadays that we spit you out. Now we're gonna bring
you back in and make a little bit more money
on you. Yeah, and spit you out again.
Speaker 3 (39:32):
I feel like I'll watch this by aupic because I
did watch Honeyboo, Like I did watch that show, and
so I would watch this just.
Speaker 2 (39:39):
To see there's a there's a span on Honey Boo Boo.
She was a cute kid so late they got to
grow up and then it got sad. Yeah, I got sad. Yeah.
Speaker 3 (39:48):
So May seventeenth, on Lifetime, Mamma June did say don't
believe everything you see.
Speaker 2 (39:53):
She said it already. She did show you don't believe
anything you see. She said don't believe it. Mmmmmm but
true on night it is sixty nine. Right now, after
a weird but true, we're going to salute the champion.
So if you have any child that has participated in
a sport over the weekend in day one, we want
to make sure that we get the word out there.
We did that coming up in about ten minutes, so
(40:13):
call someone who represents that child and let them salute
the champions. But right now, weird but true. What's up
being So?
Speaker 4 (40:19):
You know, we always talked about AI because I always
know the Rise of the machines is coming.
Speaker 2 (40:23):
But if you're not good at robotics, then this is
good for you.
Speaker 4 (40:25):
Japan's got a competition known as Robocon for people with
low technical skills.
Speaker 2 (40:30):
I'll go there.
Speaker 4 (40:31):
It's called Hebocon and it's accepting contestants. They want you
to build robots that are pretty poorly made.
Speaker 2 (40:38):
I'm gonna win that thing, and then they fight sumo style.
Speaker 4 (40:41):
The bad robots fight against each other's sumo style to
find out who's gonna win.
Speaker 2 (40:46):
So they started taking applicants.
Speaker 4 (40:47):
Now the actual event is going down a little bit
later this year. You have until May fifteenth to submit
your your really bad built robot to fight sumo style.
Speaker 6 (40:57):
I was just thinking how like Ray was having a
difficult time putting together ikea furniture, Like, how are you
supposed to go together?
Speaker 4 (41:03):
This is for her then, because this is bad robots,
not good robots. So if you want to do it,
if you're bad at robotics, this is for you.
Speaker 2 (41:10):
I watched that show on television, don't it's not called
Robot Wars where people build these robots and they put them.
Speaker 4 (41:16):
In oh yeah, and they fight, yeah, and they put
like this killing like yeah, I love the show's BattleBots
bottle bot. Yeah, I love that hit. I think they
actually went on tour and they had it here at
one point. Yeah, if you want to build a bad
robot and go to Japan, you have until May fifteenth.
Speaker 2 (41:32):
This submits you're a bad robot design.
Speaker 4 (41:34):
There's been a recent rise in shark attacks and scientists
have been trying to figure out why. So there's a
group of researchers in France and they think they have
figured it out. It's because of influencers.
Speaker 2 (41:44):
Wow.
Speaker 4 (41:44):
They said they looked at shark encounters in the French
Polynesian area from two thousand and nine to twenty twenty three,
about five percent of these seventy four requarded bytes were
defensive bites happening when sharks threatened because you were trying
to touch them, ride them.
Speaker 2 (41:57):
Or photograph. It is. Yeah, And so they did this data.
Speaker 4 (42:02):
They took it and they you know, extra plated globally
and they said there's over three hundred similar cases around
the world. So it's because these people are trying to
take photos with swim with ride around on sharks or
social media and they're the ones getting bit The shark
was mining its own bi.
Speaker 2 (42:17):
Yeah, that's crazy. You want to go you want to
be the one to get that photo, you want to
be the one to go viral, and they're biting you button.
Speaker 4 (42:24):
And now you're like, locally, you should apply that to
alligators because I was telling Johnny their day because it's
been so dry and its mating season, alligators are out
and about. I saw two this weekend crossing the street
from me to you. Ray, Oh no, just crossing the street.
Speaker 10 (42:40):
I know.
Speaker 3 (42:40):
We went to King's Landing and I was like, God,
this is elegator meters. I'm like, what are we doing
up here?
Speaker 2 (42:44):
But I didn't see.
Speaker 4 (42:45):
Any Luckily, no they were just And then we were
at Bike Fast over in Lesburg and they had this
little pond with a fountain in it in front of
like one of their little convention center, and there was
an alligators rolling through and people were going over there
to take pictures of it.
Speaker 2 (42:59):
Coming closer, closer close. I'm like, see you, dummies. That's
the crazy thing is that I know it's mat and season,
and when you see them walking, they're on a mission.
It's not like they're looking for you, and it's like,
what did they get the phone call? Hey, look mama,
I'm call on over. I mean they heard that said
I gotta got it.
Speaker 4 (43:13):
But but if you want a photo of it, you're
gonna be the one over there getting bit.
Speaker 2 (43:17):
I'll mess around allegaties. I see them go zero to
sixty real fast. Yeah, and they're snatching. They're not snatching
your puppy because they're slow. Yeah, I know they're extremely
Stay away from them. No photos, not down with that one.

Speaker 15 (46:00):
So I just want to shout out the Oviedo Little

their semi final game yesterday and at nine point thirty
in the morning, they won their semi final game. They
went right on back to back to the championship game. Unfortunately,
they did not win the championship. But these boys put
their whole hearts into this team play back to back
(46:23):
in the heat, yes, and they were devastated, but they
did amazing the whole that's okay, And I just think
you deserve to be spoken about.
Speaker 2 (46:30):
Absolutely. I can imagine how crushing that could be, going
back to back in the sun and not getting there.
But you know what, they're champions to us.
Speaker 15 (46:40):
They did amazing and they deserve to be spoken about.
Speaker 2 (46:42):

Speaker 15 (47:05):
He's been doing it for about two to three years
out and he tested for his red fout and it was.
Speaker 10 (47:10):
His first time having a break up board and.
Speaker 14 (47:12):
He nailed it.
Speaker 10 (47:13):
He was so nervous but.
Speaker 2 (47:14):
He did awesome. How many times did you cry?
Speaker 8 (47:18):
Oh?
Speaker 14 (47:18):
Sobody?
Speaker 16 (47:21):
Some people my baby made straight age. There's like my
baby broke that damn board. That boy, yes, well what's
his name? And give him some love on the radio.
What's his name?
Speaker 10 (47:33):
His name?
Speaker 14 (47:34):
I love you buddy?
Speaker 2 (47:35):
All right, Well, thank you for sharing that baby broke
that board. From Lake Lake Mary Jordan.
Speaker 8 (47:42):
Good morning, good morning, Johnny's house.
Speaker 2 (47:45):
All right, Saluton champions, what's going on?
Speaker 17 (47:47):
All right?
Speaker 14 (47:48):
Well, they aren't my kids, but their parents definitely raised them.
Speaker 17 (47:50):
Right.
Speaker 14 (47:50):
I just wanted to give a big on air congratulations
to R. J. Harvey and Ricky Barber Junior. They're both
football players from uc U and RJ was dropped did
in the second round with the Denver Broncos, highest drafted
running back from UCUS. Okay, and Ricky Barber Junior was
signed with the Washington Commanders.
Speaker 2 (48:09):
Very good, very good. All right, well, thank you, You're incredible.
It is gonna it's gonna be interesting. This draft was
someone else.
Speaker 14 (48:18):
We're gonna miss them here in Central Florida. That congratulations
Ricky and r J.
Speaker 2 (48:22):
All right, thank you, Jordan, thank you. When the Panthers
picked up Jimmy, I know I was telling him like, hey,
welcome to the Carolinas man. We appreciate it. Be what
they saying over there.
Speaker 4 (48:32):
Let's see xom ob power by Attorney Dan new and
the interrect need to check. It's the no brainer call
Attorney Dan Newland.
Speaker 2 (48:37):
Let's see.
Speaker 4 (48:38):
Someone said their daughter's all girls hockey team won the
championship a couple of weeks ago with the Orlando Ice Den.
Speaker 2 (48:43):
All right, congratulations, pretty cool.
Speaker 4 (48:45):
Uh salute Harmony High School and Osteola High School the
OBC Champs District champs now heading the regional semi finals.
Speaker 2 (48:53):
What's what I just says, OBC. I don't know what
that means, but that's what he says. It's big thanks.
Speaker 4 (49:01):
And then over in Sanford, bo key the girls the
water polo.
Speaker 2 (49:06):
Yeah they won silver at States. Yes, all right, we
do it like every two or three weeks. So if
your kid won, runs a championship, or do extremely well,
well we'll do a shout out and you call us
out and we can let everybody know about it. Speaking
of the draft, somebody did a little thing and it
got somebody in trouble. When did your kids get you
in trouble? We'll get you to that. On John, it
was the NFL Draft, and as you heard a couple
(49:27):
of minutes ago, Jordan called in and congratulated some UCF players.
But the biggest talk of the draft was Door Sanders,
who is Dion Sanders' son. Yes, even Brian and I
had discussion. Brian's I don't think he's going the first round,
said Brian. I think he going for show in the
first round. I don't, thank so, man. The word on
the street is I don't care about the word on
the street. I've been sitting this man, kid play. I
(49:48):
watched Colorado all year he going first brown. Next day
I came in and said, brother, I was wrong. First thing.
I was wrong.
Speaker 4 (49:58):
You were right. He did not go well. I mean
I honestly didn't think fifth round. I probably I thought
like third.
Speaker 2 (50:04):
Yeah, well something happened and Brian explained that this is horrible.
Speaker 8 (50:08):
Man.
Speaker 2 (50:09):
Yeah, I know they think it's funny, but it was horrible.
Speaker 4 (50:11):
Well, so they were documenting everything for him because he's
a social media star as well, so they were basically
documenting all the whole process for shird door Sanders and
so he's got this on video, but the kids that
did it also were on video and they posted it.
So the defensive coordinator for the Falcons, the NFL gave
all the high prospects phones that all of the teams
(50:34):
had contact numbers in so they could call and get
it hold of the person. But nobody else had the number,
but every organization had it. So the defensive coordinator for
the Falcons he had the number on an iPad which
apparently was left open on his desk at his house.
He should be able to have it open on his
twenty one year old son who goes to against I
think old miss they said he's in a fratig old
miss was there, got the phone number and wrote it down.
(50:56):
So then fast forward to should Sanders starts to fall
in the draft, they videoed themselves calling him, pretending to
be an NFL GM, and they looked up a name
of an NFL GM, and they went through the whole process.
Speaker 2 (51:07):
Telling him that, hey, you know we're going to take you.
Speaker 4 (51:10):
And he said, man, I've been waiting a long time
for this, and they said we're gonna have to wait
a little longer and hung up and then start ting
and then they posted and they went viral. Then everyone
found out later that the kid was related because they
were like, how did he get a phone the phone number,
it's not a published phone number.
Speaker 2 (51:26):
So the Falcons organization, the coach, everybody apologized and he
made the kid apologie.
Speaker 6 (51:33):
The kid called apologies and took his call. I have
a question that did that player get drafted at all?
Speaker 2 (51:38):
Yeah? He did a fifth round.
Speaker 4 (51:40):
They would have been real bad if he really don't well,
he slid. He was supposed he's projected in the first round.
He slid all the way down to the fifth round.
I'll put it to you in a way that you
can really understand it.
Speaker 2 (51:50):
NARSA. You know, remember when you holding out, he was
waiting to be hired here. Can you imagine somebody from
another station and said, hey, this is so and sold
from so and so. I just want to let you
know that we want you to be a party. You're like, oh,
thank you. I've been waiting this my whole life. But
you gotta wait a little longer. Yo, you just gave me.
You know, I got that phone call from you. I
was crying. Here's a joy, But what was it. I've
(52:11):
been waiting so long, Wait a little longer.
Speaker 4 (52:14):
In the meantime, he's lost twenty million dollars probably in
value on his contract because the first round the fifth round.
Now that's not those kids fault. No, yeah, but that's
what he's going through in his mind as well. He's
getting embarrassed because he's always been like the superstar and
now he's falling a little. So there's a lot of
factors going into it that made it like a really
bad kicking the gun.
Speaker 8 (52:32):
Now.
Speaker 2 (52:32):
I mean, whether you like him or not, it's not cool. No.
In the NFL's like, you know what, we're looking into it,
and the dad's like, listen, uh, it was my kid
so any punishment that.
Speaker 4 (52:42):
But you can't like the guy. The kid's twenty one.
So there's a point where it's like, all right, you
can't blame the dad. But I mean, yeah, to the
point where you fire him, you can't. You can blame
him because he raised that kid. Yeah, so you can say,
will you raise your kid with some questionable.
Speaker 2 (52:56):
My office in my home? Uh, my sonning in it.
He ain't allow it. I tell him, you come here
if you gonna pay you see all these these bills.
You're gonna pay somebody the ease and stay ass out
of here. Yeah. But if he did something like that, yeah,
I would just stare at him right for about an
hour because he feels bad. I told Brian, I said,
what I do is go this dorm and look at
(53:17):
one of it's for Tarraper. I say, go up in town,
so and so on here they say, man, your dad
down stills, stop playing. No no, he is stop playing
no serious. Your dad sent me up here. He's downstairs.
He told me to take to come down because I'm
just like, we.
Speaker 4 (53:31):
Look at pranks differently, though, I would say, because of
our job, Like I could see a radio show doing
yes and they would have been high five, and then
there would have been.
Speaker 2 (53:38):
Pets on the back and every he and everything, because
you guys used to be sub jacked out right, Yes,
you prank people.
Speaker 4 (53:44):
That's that's kind of so I'm not I'm not surprised
that this happened, and I'm honestly I don't think that
it's unfunny. I just think that the circumstances around it
are jacked up. You stole the phone number from a dad,
from your dad, Okay, not in this day and age,
because we mentioned it before. You had to have mission
to put somebody on the air.
Speaker 2 (54:01):
Back in the day, if a radio if that kid
would have called a radio station say hey, I have
some doors phone number, dude, cat to kill you it,
we would have called. Absolutely absolutely, we would have. We
had to give them tickets. We would have given them
tickets for given us the number. Yeah, and we would
have called and we'd laughed ha haa. It would have
gone on the air and say it'd be cool if
(54:21):
we had one of these kids to being drafted phone
number just to tell them good luck, and that kid
would have called in and say, hey, I got yeah,
really can we have it? And we look at each
other you wouldn't do it. Now I'll do it.
Speaker 5 (54:30):
Do it?
Speaker 2 (54:31):
Who will say he's the GM of what was it
a Panthers?
Speaker 5 (54:34):
Right?
Speaker 2 (54:35):
Hey's Thedora said, Hi, this is so and so, the
owner of the Panthers. You're doing, sir, doing good man.
See what's happening in your draft. And I just want
to let you know that you know what they messed up.
It's gonna be our our blessing to have you on
our team. Would you like to be a Carolina Panther? Yes,
I've been waiting for this my whole life. Well, you
know what, by the way, a little longer, I don't
(54:56):
think I could work with you guys. That is me.
You know what, somebody's not really control. They made fun
of it. That would have went on the industry and
we would have been heroes here. We never would have
been without a job in radio. Ever. Ever, it didn't.
See that's why that's where I look. It's it's mean,
(55:18):
but it doesn't.
Speaker 4 (55:19):
It didn't affect his his ability or his money making it.
They had nothing to do with him dropping. They just
made fun of me. Suck it would so it would
totally suck. But that's what practical jokes and pranks are.
That's why it's like, on the one hand, it's jacked
up and it's not at all.
Speaker 2 (55:35):
And on the other hand, pranks are not supposed to
be like friendly. That's why they're pranks. That's why they
call the show Jackass. Like I feel for you, right.
The pranks back then were rough.
Speaker 4 (55:53):
Because of the like I grew up going through Jackass
and jerky boys and all that stuff.
Speaker 2 (55:57):
That's what they're ensuring each other.
Speaker 3 (55:59):
Like that's a stupid form of of pririce. When you
do it, it's like mentally you've worked for this your
whole entire life, which I understand your future is still
set up and you just don't know about it.
Speaker 2 (56:09):
But the fact that we were lost, we the loss
of listeners because that had been somebody like you know,
you know what, I've never called a radio station, but
what y'all just did and we rast out and we
run that call too. Boy, oh my again, I hate
you guy. You got her? You know what you know?
Speaker 6 (56:28):
With all those happening, you guys are making me think, like,
is the dad like low key kind of just being like.
Speaker 4 (56:33):
No, no, I think the dad's disgusted by it because
he might lose his job, and his job is a
million dollar job.
Speaker 2 (56:39):
I want to find out when did your kids do
anything that got you in trouble? Got a pair of
ticket see glass animals at the Mid Florida Credit Union
Ampitheater coming up on June nineteenth, four oh seven now

Speaker 10 (57:25):
Good morning, Hey, so I was the kid?
Speaker 2 (57:28):
Oh look at you kid? What did you do? What
did you do?
Speaker 8 (57:33):
So?
Speaker 9 (57:33):
My friend and I were rollerblading at a local park
that we grew up at, and they had these like
little ramps around the entire lake.
Speaker 15 (57:40):
That you can walk down and go fishing.
Speaker 9 (57:42):
There's a little bench and stuff.
Speaker 8 (57:43):
And it was all wood. So we would go down.
Speaker 9 (57:46):
This ramp with our skates and then put our roller
blades out in.
Speaker 10 (57:49):
Front of us, like kick your leg up, okay.
Speaker 9 (57:51):
And kick all of the wooden fences and so they
all had holes. So we ran. The cops got called,
and we ran, and our parents ended up having to
pay a fine to the market.
Speaker 2 (58:03):
So when they found out it was you, what did
your parents say to you?
Speaker 9 (58:07):
We definitely got in trouble. I actually rat it out
with my friend.
Speaker 2 (58:13):
Said, I'm not going down by myself.
Speaker 9 (58:17):
Right here, She's going down with me.
Speaker 14 (58:19):
You flipped quick, Yes I did, sir.
Speaker 9 (58:24):
My mom ain't gonna be the only mom paying this.
Speaker 2 (58:27):
I love that. I wouldn't you know what. Me and
my friends were really close. I wouldn't have read it
on them. I would tell them, man, you about to
tell your mama you did it. I would have told him,
tell your mama, you did it.
Speaker 17 (58:37):
Man.
Speaker 2 (58:39):
We ain't gonna be friends no more. You about to
tell your mama you did it. We used to ride
on each other, but then still be best friends, Like.
Speaker 14 (58:44):
I'm sorry, we grew up together. We're still best frien.
Speaker 2 (58:47):
Yeah, right, would police involved? Yeah?
Speaker 4 (58:50):
As soon as my mom saw the bills, You're like,
oh no, no, no, who was helping me pay this?
Speaker 2 (58:54):
Yes, that's when it would have been pro alone.
Speaker 9 (58:58):
He knew that I was instigator.
Speaker 2 (59:00):
Oh, my goodness, mine didn't want to she maybe do it,
you said, I right, she said, I read it up.
My friend. Howld to take you thirty seconds? Who was
with you? Oh? She's never right now?
Speaker 14 (59:11):
We were always together a second.
Speaker 4 (59:14):
Yeah, there was no no monetary punishment. I wouldn't have
said a word. But as soon as there's a bill,
oh knew, my mam may paint out by herself from Orlando.
Speaker 2 (59:22):
Casey, good morning, good morning. How were you good? Good?
How the kids get you in trouble?
Speaker 5 (59:28):
All right?
Speaker 17 (59:29):
Listen, when we were younger, we were coaching all our
kids in All Stars, and we had like three of
the kids over at the house. We had had all
the all Star lists for baseball on a sheet in
my shoulder.
Speaker 7 (59:42):
Uh, huh.
Speaker 17 (59:42):
Thought it would be funny to look at the list
and tell everybody not only on the list, but went
to all the other kids like that they didn't like
and tell them, oh, yeah, then you made the old Star.
Oh we had a banquet. We had a banquet and
we were calling out all the names, and you know,
the kids went home and told their parents there on
the All Star list, and all of a sudden, their
(01:00:04):
names weren't called, like up.
Speaker 2 (01:00:06):
How did you find out that you? How did you
find out the kids did it?
Speaker 17 (01:00:10):
I booked at my son and he just put his
head down.
Speaker 2 (01:00:14):
Oh no, oh hell no.
Speaker 5 (01:00:17):
I was like, what did you do?
Speaker 7 (01:00:21):
Man?
Speaker 17 (01:00:21):
It was it was not only but it was.
Speaker 3 (01:00:25):
Oh yeah, you better create an All Star B team,
because you better create an All Star B team.
Speaker 17 (01:00:32):
The first you would have an all we had to do.
But it was just one of those things they thought
they were funny. Ten eleven years old. Oh it was
not funny at all.
Speaker 2 (01:00:41):
Oh my goodness, tasty this stuff serious. Yes. I can
only imagine you saying, kid, what did you do? What
did you do? Wow?
Speaker 5 (01:00:51):
Exactly?
Speaker 17 (01:00:51):
And they're like, we thought it would be funny. I said,
who did you do it with? And man, they were
quick to go. Yeah, still, look a game. We made
them out a game for each player that they didn't
that wasn't on the all start.
Speaker 2 (01:01:09):
Oh my goodness.
Speaker 17 (01:01:11):
And it's officially calmed down.
Speaker 2 (01:01:13):
But man, oh yeah, because they got they have money invested.
It's a lot of money.
Speaker 17 (01:01:20):
Yeah, a lot of everybody. Everybody.
Speaker 2 (01:01:24):
Yeah, of course, But hey, don't kill my kids dream
of being King Griffy because your kid call him out
and told me he was King Griffy. Now you're telling
me he don't do that.
Speaker 6 (01:01:36):
Hold on a second, all my kids showing up to
All Star practice exactly, Nope, nope, your kids told me
he's on the team. That's right here, he is, he's here.
Speaker 2 (01:01:45):
You want to run and find out a coach what
he's saying over there. I'm like he to just thinking
about that because your kids playing. Wow, A live an
example of what we're talking about.
Speaker 3 (01:01:56):
Somebody got their mom in trouble when the mom actually
told them to drive the sister's car and take her
to Walmart and I guess they didn't have the license.
Speaker 6 (01:02:04):
So yeah, yeah, exactly yeah xl MO Power by Attorney
Dan Newlan, Interact.
Speaker 2 (01:02:10):
You need to check its no brainer. Just call attorney
Dan Newlan.
Speaker 4 (01:02:12):
Someone said, even though the kid's twenty one, that's still
that dad's responsibility, not necessarily kid, but you've got to
lock down the information.
Speaker 2 (01:02:18):
Yeah, Casey prime example, what we were talking about gainst
the pair of Tikea sea glass animals at the Mid
Florida Credit Union Ampitheater coming up in June. Right, what
you got girl? Did you ever wonder why Yoda speaks backwards?
Speaker 8 (01:02:31):
No?
Speaker 2 (01:02:31):
Okay, well I'm going to tell you anyways.
Speaker 4 (01:02:34):
I actually, I mean, I know he does, but I've
never read, and I'm a Star Wars fan.
Speaker 3 (01:02:40):
I never really asked Lucas is coming out given given
the secrets.
Speaker 1 (01:02:45):
Now the Johnny's House Entertainment news.
Speaker 2 (01:02:48):
With Ray, So whether you care or don't care, I'm
going to tell you about just kidding. Have I one
to do?
Speaker 4 (01:02:55):
I don't think I have, Like Johnny, I was seriously
trying to go, Okay, wait a second, I'm a Star
Wars fan, but it's never crossed my mind as to why.
Speaker 2 (01:03:00):
So I didn't want to just respond to your shows
that I'm really listening. No, I know, I didn't even
know he spoke backwards. Okay, I didn't know he spoke
backwards either. I thought he just spoke like Gibberis. It's
not backwards.
Speaker 4 (01:03:10):
It takes a word from the back and puts it
on the front.
Speaker 2 (01:03:14):
Oh okay, so the war'sn't backwards.
Speaker 4 (01:03:16):
Fol on backwards. It's like tell the story you will
instead of you will tell the story?
Speaker 2 (01:03:20):
Ye okay, okay.
Speaker 3 (01:03:23):
So anyways, George Lucas finally gave us an answer during
the forty fifth anniversary screening of.
Speaker 2 (01:03:28):
The Empire Strikes Back. Okay.
Speaker 3 (01:03:30):
He said, if you speak regular English, people won't listen
to you and won't listen as much. So that is
why he made Yoda as the philosopher of the movie.
He had to figure out a way to get people
to actually listen, especially twelve year olds.
Speaker 2 (01:03:48):
He waited forty five years to tell you that.
Speaker 6 (01:03:50):
Yeah, but it makes sense because, like I'll give a
great example, my mom.
Speaker 2 (01:03:54):
She to this day she struggles a little bit with
her English.
Speaker 6 (01:03:56):
But I have to give focus attention when she's talking
to me to make sure that I can understand what
it is she's trying to say.
Speaker 2 (01:04:01):
Yeah, okay, that makes sense.
Speaker 3 (01:04:03):
Well, sometimes when I watch like British movies or like
movies with accents, I really have to like get in
and like yeah. So, I mean he was like he
had he if he had an accent or if it
was like really hard to understand what he's saying, they
focus on what he's saying, and so that's why he
was like, Okay, well I don't really want him to
have like an accent, so he had him speak like backwards.
Speaker 2 (01:04:22):
Okay, all right, Oh that's crazy. After all these years
he waited until now to tell us. I thought it
was fascinating.
Speaker 3 (01:04:29):
It is big and interesting. Speaking of movies, the box
office is doing really, really well. They're talking about the
sales right now are up more than one hundred percent
from last year.
Speaker 2 (01:04:40):
Well, nobody went to the movies last year.
Speaker 3 (01:04:42):
I ah, but I mean, like what they're saying is
Sinners obviously was up against the Accountant too, and Sinners
came out on top.
Speaker 2 (01:04:49):
Sinners is doing very well. Sinners is done well because
of past hype. Yeah, you know, people like they talked
about it after the first weekend, It's like, well, I
want to see this thing.
Speaker 4 (01:04:58):
He also didn't love the way they framed it, like
they they there was a kind of an outrage about
the way they framed it.
Speaker 2 (01:05:04):
As being a failure.
Speaker 4 (01:05:05):
So people were like, you know what, I'm gonna go
see it again to support because they want it to
do well.
Speaker 2 (01:05:09):
Gotcha.
Speaker 3 (01:05:10):
So what they're saying is that Sinners has transformed into
like this rare title that has become a runaway like success.
But also on top of like the Account two coming out,
I guess, there was a re release of Star Wars
episode three, Revenge of the Sixth.
Speaker 4 (01:05:25):
Yeah, so a lot of people hadn't seen it in
the theaters. Like my son went and saw it. He's
a Star Wars fan, but he was two years old
when it was in theaters, so he didn't get to
see it.
Speaker 3 (01:05:33):
So there was a re release of that, and there
was like a massive goose in the box office with sales.
Speaker 2 (01:05:38):
Of that bookkeeper. Tudo. I don't even see that on
this list. Was it released the Accountant the account I'm sorry, yeah,
I was like, I don't even see that on this
the account two two version exactly, it was number two.
Speaker 3 (01:05:54):
Yes, it was number two, but the Vampire Supernatural Vampire
movie with Michael B. Jordan is number one, they said,
so domestically with a phenomenal forty five million dollars.
Speaker 2 (01:06:04):
So it's the nas made money.
Speaker 4 (01:06:05):
How much did it cost to they need to get
to one hundred and eighty total and they're in a
one hundred and sixty one wee.
Speaker 3 (01:06:10):
Yeah, which is still pretty big. But yeah, what they're
saying the box office is back for right now. It's
one hundred percent increase from sales.
Speaker 2 (01:06:17):
Okay.
Speaker 3 (01:06:18):
Travis Kelcey and Jason Kelcey, did you see them living
it up in Vegas?
Speaker 2 (01:06:22):
No? What are you doing? On Sunday?
Speaker 3 (01:06:23):
Justin Timberlake posted an Instagram video and they were actually
all together golfing. So it was really funny because Michael Phelps,
Blake Griffin, Travis and Jason Kelcey, they were all together.
There was a golf invitational in Sin City, and so
that's what they were all competing in.
Speaker 2 (01:06:38):
You should have a common sponsor somewhere. They might probably
a charity.
Speaker 3 (01:06:41):
Thing, Yeah, yeah, probably because it's like this whole like
golf competition between the celebrities or the athletes, and so
you could see them like living large, but they're hanging
out with like Justin Timberlake and everything.
Speaker 2 (01:06:53):
But a lot of celebrities, especially pro athletes, after they
are done, they play in celebrity golf tournaments cause they
pay for their air, the hotel and everything they want
to eat drink.
Speaker 3 (01:07:02):
Yeah, so this is the first time that Travis Kelsey
had been spotted obviously since you know him finishing off
the season and then Jason just had another baby. Okay,
his wife Kylie just had their fourth trial.
Speaker 2 (01:07:13):
So I've been with my woman for like three months straight.
I need to break He's like golf vacas. Yes, I
love them, but I need break here, all right? What's trending? Update? J Young?
All over the place they expect. It looks a little
overcast a little bit. They say, it's supposed to be sunny,
then a chance of rain for one to three and
then thunderstorms maybe possibly kunt of this afternoon, eighty hours
of a high ray. What we're looking at right now?
(01:07:35):
Eight seventy eight? Yeah, already, damn seventy eight? Right now?
All right, darese what's going on?
Speaker 6 (01:07:39):
Well, before I get into it, got to pick a
winner for the Alex Horn Meet and greet at tomorrow's
House of Blues sold out show. Congratulations to Talia Swanson.
Speaker 2 (01:07:48):
Congratulation you understood the assignment and you did it.
Speaker 6 (01:07:50):
Damn we'll be in touch with you with the iHeartRadio
promo team. Okay, so, Central Florida might be a step
closer to having a major League baseball team. This past
week in the Early Dreamers committed to securing one point
five billion dollars in investments to make it happen. Right now,
we're working on raising funds for a one billion dollars
stadium near SeaWorld.
Speaker 2 (01:08:09):
But here's the thing.
Speaker 6 (01:08:10):
While the search for a team is going on, it's
possible that they are looking at the Tampa Bay Raised
as a potential relocation because of the destruction that happened
at the stadium during Hurricane.
Speaker 2 (01:08:20):
Multain Mass October. They let the fail. Yeah it is
the deal fell through again.
Speaker 4 (01:08:26):
Yeah yeah, oh wow, No I didn't know that. Yeah, yeah,
I read it over the weekend. Okay, all right, we'll
keep you posted with that.
Speaker 6 (01:08:33):
There is a wild video right now of a high
powered speedboat from Freedom One Racing that was trying to
break a speed record and it was going so fast
that it went airborne. So you're looking at a vessel
with ten thousand horsepower behind it.
Speaker 2 (01:08:47):
I've seen that happen video. Insane.
Speaker 6 (01:08:50):
Yeah, and it reached the speed of two hundred point
one miles per hour and it literally flew in the
air and started to flip around before it crashed into
the waters. But don't worry, both pilot racers are okay.
Speaker 2 (01:09:00):
So how deject to set? Yeah, I can't. As soon
as I saw left control check me out, there.
Speaker 6 (01:09:06):
Was the uh you know, they got cameras inside the
boat and like, because that was the first thing I
thought of. I was like, oh my god, are they okay?
They're wearing like helmets and they're strapped in there like
they're like racers. So yeah, So Brian was just talking
about the NFL Falcons coach son who pulled that prank something.
Speaker 2 (01:09:22):
That is in a joke.
Speaker 6 (01:09:23):
Here our sister city, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, they drafted what
is said to be the heaviest player in NFL history.
Speaker 2 (01:09:30):
Yes, introducing Desmond Watson.
Speaker 6 (01:09:32):
Standing at six feet six inches, this man weighs four
hundred and sixty four pounds as a defensive player that
came in from University of Florida.
Speaker 2 (01:09:40):
He's giant.
Speaker 6 (01:09:41):
Yeah, they got to work before that. The heaviest person
drafted in was four hundred and ten pounds. But he
it's funny because he didn't receive an invitation to the
NFL Scouting Combine. But he did impress the scouts at
the Florida's Pro Day by benching two hundred and twenty
five pounds in thirty six reps.
Speaker 2 (01:09:58):
And also, yeah, he's trying to The thing is foot.
If his footwork is good, they won't make him lose weight.
But if he he can't chase anybody down. Yes, yeah,
but he got he got signed as an undrafted free age.
Ok so he didn't get drafted. He's on the team.
Well he got for a chance to make it again. Yeah, yeah, okay, Yeah.
Speaker 6 (01:10:14):
He also did run a forty yard dash in five
point ninety three seconds.
Speaker 2 (01:10:17):
So for a dude death size, how how how can
his bones carry that? He's a giant. Listen, if he
can hit somebody, they're gonna make sure his bones carry
that in a barrel. That's what they do. All Right,
we come back. We talk about a study about linking
regular family meals and how it betters you. We're gonna
(01:10:38):
talk about this coming up on Johnny Sigh. I know,
I'm like, wait a minute, wait makes sense. Bad Romance
was the same way. Oh what was she saying? What
you say, lady guy got nine twenty Johnny's house, rain
expected and then sunshine. Hopefully we'll see what happens today.
It is seventy nine right now with the hot today
of eighty nine. Interesting stat we were talking about off
(01:11:00):
and explain it.
Speaker 6 (01:11:01):
Yeah, so there is a study that shows strong links
between regular family meals and better academic performances in children.
So they're saying that kids who frequently eat dinner with
their families tend to score higher in tests and have
improved grades.
Speaker 2 (01:11:16):
Now, growing up, we did that. We ate We ate
dinner every night together, and we'd have to wait for
my dad to come home from a second job to
eat it. And most times when he walked through the door,
we're sitting at the table like I'm on bro. And
here's the thing, if you think about it, back then,
there was no cell phone saying that you know, I'm
gonna be a little late. He just knew that he
needed to get home at this time because that what
(01:11:37):
that's what time we ate dinner together. And we did that.
But now in my household, we eat breakfasts more on
the weekend. Then we sit down and have dinner, me
and my son. He takes his back to his room.
He's like on his computer. He takes it right back.
He's like, okay, see shortly. At what age did that
start to happen? Three? No, I think it was probably
(01:12:02):
probably begin in middle school. Yeah, he said, hey, I'm
working on It started like, hey, I'm working on something,
and I don't want to stop your mind if I
eat it in my room, knocked ahead, And so he's
still working on something until finally like, I go ahead, hey,
don't make a mess if I come in here, and
if I see a crumb, if I see this, he stopped,
and I'll go in. And your son is smart though, yeah,
so now he yeah, he So, I don't know what
(01:12:23):
that stat Maybe he'll be super small.
Speaker 6 (01:12:25):
I was gonna see the stat's like opposite for you
and your son. It's like, you know people kids sit
at the table and then get good grades. It's like, no,
your son has good grades, don't got to sit.
Speaker 2 (01:12:33):
At the table. No, he sit there, and he'll do it.
But we'll have breakfast on the weekend. If I'm cooking,
he'll sit down and we'll talk. But other than that,
I used to sit at the table by myself. He'll
come out and put the plate going. That was some
good eats and then go right back in. That's that age, man,
he just want to be up alone. It took me
a while to get used to it. Ray, how often
do you guys?
Speaker 3 (01:12:53):
I mean, every time I have them, I try to
I sit with them and have dinner. Really yeah, whether
it's like we sit at the dinner table bowl and
have dinner, or we'll sit like in the living room
and we'll sit like on the floor and have a picnic.
Speaker 2 (01:13:06):
Yeah, yeah, she always did. But I'm always having dinner
with them. Yeah, that's what's gonna happen. I hope not.
I hope that they always liked to sit and have
dinner with me. But you know what you could do
do with my mom? Did just pull out, like yeah,
you sit there like it or not. I want to
beat him into heaven. Sit here and eat and we
gonna talk about But no, it was true. I mean
(01:13:27):
even back then it was seven of us that we
talked about the events of the day or what happened
in school and that kind of thing. And and I
was just like, Wow, we've been tortured, but that's just right.
This sucks.
Speaker 4 (01:13:38):
No, we never ate dinner together as a kid, like
I could probably say maybe three times ever in life
just did. We didn't have really dining room table really
Now my mom was working at night so because she
had extra jobs, and my dad wasn't around.
Speaker 2 (01:13:49):
So now we didn't. We just ate when we ate, Yeah,
figured it out. How about you? How about your son?
Speaker 4 (01:13:54):
We don't really We never really sat at the table
as a family. And eight when he was growing up,
I would sit at the table with him, just me
and him.
Speaker 2 (01:14:01):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (01:14:02):
And then we got an island with a like a
bar you sit at, and then we also sat there.
Speaker 2 (01:14:08):
Yeah. We never really sat at the dining room table
at my house either. I think it was part of
the whole cooking agreement because my mom will come home
from work and cook that I want to see all
y'all eat. Yeah, I sat here and we're eight hours
came home and cooked. No, I want to see y'all
right eat this. It was that kind of But my
wife and I don't even eat at the table. We
sat on the couch and eat. Yeah. So yeah, I
(01:14:29):
got to I got the TV table she bought. She
didn't buy set because she don't want to set in
her house. She bought me one TV tray so I
could sit there and eat. Here's a funny thing about
my TV trade. It made it through the fire. I'm like, wow, Oh,
I guess you want to go to the new places.
Speaker 4 (01:14:47):
That's kind of off for me at least because I'm
smart and I didn't have dinner at the table one time.
And my son did have dinner with me at the table,
and he had to work hard, yeah, to get through school.
Speaker 2 (01:14:56):
So I want to find out from you. Do you
have dinner with your fan sit down meal every single night?
And did you do it growing up or you've done
it now because they say you know it didn't. I
can see where it would because now you more in
tune what's going on? So why you graide messed up?
How about this? Give me that piece of chicken? Going
back in your room to need homework? See, I can
see how that right? You got a d How about that?
(01:15:17):
Give me a mass takes to get out of here.
I'm choking, y'all. Four O seven now one nine one
O six seven eight seven seven now one nine one
O six seven. Got a pair of tickets for you
to see Chris Brown at Camping World Stadium, except Timper
thirty half, Ray, have you decided yes?
Speaker 8 (01:15:31):
I don't know.
Speaker 2 (01:15:32):
I want to go. I just was so close last time.
Speaker 4 (01:15:36):
Ray's gonna bending over touching her toes and a meet
and greet photo.
Speaker 3 (01:15:40):
If I could get in with the girlfriend, we would
have a epic.
Speaker 2 (01:15:45):
Actually, shouldn't be that word. I wouldn't even well, I
wouldn't even want to want. I didn't want to see it.
I wouldn't want to see the photo that you Eiffel towers.
Won't you explain that to the people. Nope, it's a
sing in Paris four seven now and now one of
six seven eight seven seven now and now. I want
to six seven trying to find out how you died.
(01:16:06):
Every night right here, Johnny's I'm pertuck and be more productive.
I want to find out from you. Do you sit
down and eat with your family every night? I got
some God Chris Brown and concert tickets that we're gonna
hook you up with, But first we need to hear
from you. From because Semi, Hey, Jackie, good morning.
Speaker 14 (01:16:21):
Hi, good morning.
Speaker 2 (01:16:22):
All right? Do you sit out with your family eat
every night?
Speaker 14 (01:16:25):
It's a requirement, Yes, we do.
Speaker 2 (01:16:27):
We've been doing this for What do you mean by
requires longest.
Speaker 10 (01:16:31):
I remember, we have two. Hold on it, you cannot.
Speaker 18 (01:16:36):
They cannot eat in the in the rooms. I don't
allow that.
Speaker 14 (01:16:38):
I don't allow eating in the living room. We eat
at the table all the time.
Speaker 10 (01:16:42):
Hold on it, yes, I have huh.
Speaker 2 (01:16:44):
Hold on well, I have four boys.
Speaker 18 (01:16:46):
The oldest is thirty six, thirty four, but they don't
live with me, only the youngest. So it's just me
and the youngest. We always sit down to dinner together.
And then when the oldest or the three oldest come over,
they're always helping me cook. And then they're like, okay,
I think they look forward to it. They're like, okay,
time for dinner. Everyone, let's go.
Speaker 10 (01:17:07):
So we'll move over to the dining room. Oh, I
have more seats.
Speaker 2 (01:17:10):
So do you say, all right? So and so set
the table.
Speaker 12 (01:17:14):
Yes, you set the table, we said the table.
Speaker 18 (01:17:18):
Yeah, we take out the drinks. We sit together. We've
always done that, and I and I guess maybe this
does work, and my kids are very successful.
Speaker 14 (01:17:28):
Well, maybe it does work.
Speaker 2 (01:17:30):
You said that it's a requirement. If you want a biscuit,
you got to sit at your butter, you got to
sit at that table, or you get to no food yes.
Speaker 10 (01:17:37):
We eat together all the time.
Speaker 2 (01:17:39):
What if what of your kids say not tonight, mind down, if.
Speaker 18 (01:17:43):
They don't feel well or anything.
Speaker 2 (01:17:44):
I feel great now. I feel great, man, I just
don't feel like doing that.
Speaker 14 (01:17:48):
No, they we all sit together.
Speaker 2 (01:17:50):
I understand what you're saying, mom, but I don't feel
like it tonight.
Speaker 14 (01:17:53):
Too bad.
Speaker 2 (01:17:55):
That's what I was waiting for. It's like, well, just no,
just don't feel like a man, Just don't feel like it,
don't want to do it. You're like, well, regard, you're
gonna do it. Yeah, all right, happened, all right? The
second you want to we use like paper plates and
stuff set on the table. Normal. That means somebody got
(01:18:18):
to watch them all the dishes. I don't want to watch.
But a couple of pots in the plate, that's all
I want. Maybe they said it with like paper plates.
Maybe hold on, we can ask, hey, Jack, Yeah, do
y'all set the table with paper plates and real plates?
Speaker 10 (01:18:33):
Sometimes paper okay, sometimes real plates.
Speaker 15 (01:18:37):
I I always cook.
Speaker 10 (01:18:38):
They washed the dishes.
Speaker 14 (01:18:40):
They never act. One of my fourth boys will be
washing dishes.
Speaker 2 (01:18:44):
Okay, So you want to eat, somebody gotta watch the
dishes too. Yes, I ain't even hungry. That I don't
even want no food.
Speaker 4 (01:18:55):
Hold on, Jack, I mean, that's the stereotypical way it's
supposed to. That's what it's supposed to be.
Speaker 2 (01:18:59):
But after Wow, when they get to that age around
thirteen fourteen from Titus, mall carry good morning, good morning,
eat at the table every night? No, no, how about
growing up?
Speaker 10 (01:19:11):
I wish I strive to be like the last caller,
But it just does not happen for my family that way.
Speaker 2 (01:19:17):
Do you have a belt? Are your kidding? What is that?
Are your kids failures?
Speaker 19 (01:19:26):
That's the way I was raised, But I guess it's
because of my family dynamics. It just does not work.
Speaker 2 (01:19:32):
Out because sometimes you're like, look, I'm tired. I'm not
trying to head a debate to night eat why you want?
Speaker 17 (01:19:37):
For real?
Speaker 14 (01:19:37):
I have and I have.
Speaker 19 (01:19:39):
My youngest is seven, and my oldest at the house
right now is twenty three, So we kind of take
turns at the table.
Speaker 14 (01:19:47):
It's like, oh, you're here, go ahead and meat right bye.
Speaker 2 (01:19:50):
Well, the twenty three year old, I'd make him eat
at the table every night because I want it so
uncomfortable in that he wants to move.
