Now The Johnny's House Entertainment News with Ray.
Speaker 3 (00:24):
Did you see Andy Dick?
Speaker 4 (00:26):
I did. I heard some stories.
Speaker 5 (00:28):
That is the saddest thing that's going on. So he
suffered an apparent overdose on Tuesday and it tesday. It
was in the middle of the streets, right in the
middle of the streets, and uh, he was sitting on
the concrete steps outside of a building in Hollywood.
Speaker 3 (00:44):
And in the clips, some of.
Speaker 5 (00:45):
His friends are trying to help Andy and appears like
some of them are trying to give him Narcan and
so paramedics eventually showed up and they say Andy Dick
was not taken to the hospital.
Speaker 3 (00:58):
Yeah, so actually just was fine and went home.
Speaker 4 (01:02):
You know what's funny.
Speaker 6 (01:03):
I saw his picture everywhere and I assume that he
was on TV talking about an overdose and now he's back.
Speaker 4 (01:08):
But the overdose happened yesterday.
Speaker 3 (01:10):
It has happened, yes, yeah, yeah, so this week.
Speaker 5 (01:12):
But what they're saying is that they actually went to
Andy Dak's apartment yesterday.
Speaker 3 (01:17):
TMZ did to talk to him and he was wasted,
but he was alive, okay.
Speaker 5 (01:22):
So, but he explained that Tuesday's incident occurred because he
smoked crack with some guy that he had just met.
Andy is fifty nine, and he said that he's been
in and out of rehab jail a million times over
the years.
Speaker 3 (01:35):
And he said every now and then he just likes
to do some crap.
Speaker 6 (01:38):
Wow, you know, I mean, listen, I don't suggest anybody
dos crack, but I think if you're going to please
do it with somebody.
Speaker 3 (01:44):
You know, seriously exactly.
Speaker 5 (01:46):
I mean, when the fentanyl and everything nowadays, it is
just so scary.
Speaker 3 (01:52):
So Taylor Swift, this is really funny.
Speaker 7 (01:55):
Uh.
Speaker 5 (01:55):
You know everybody is posting their like wrapped up for
like the year, like they're most listened to albums and
all that stuff. Well, Travis Kelsey revealed his most listened
to songs and luckily, his fiancees music was on there.
Oh really, I was like, if Taylor Swift did not
pop up on.
Speaker 1 (02:11):
His hey, he's got a burner just for that Taylor
Swift all day of course.
Speaker 5 (02:16):
But Travis and his brother Jason Kelly Kelsey, they were
joking about the wrapped up list on their podcast and
Jason was sharing his top albums and all that stuff,
and so obviously Taylor Swifts The Life of a show
Girl popped up, and it sounds like Jason is leaving
the singing to like the professional Zone, because he was like,
you know, it was number one for him as well.
Speaker 3 (02:38):
And but you know what funny.
Speaker 6 (02:39):
If I have to go to a place where you
have to you have to vallet your car, I always
put the radio on XL. Yeah, okay, what I'm listening
to you just before I get out.
Speaker 3 (02:48):
Yeah.
Speaker 5 (02:49):
Diana Ross is going to headline Dick Clark's New Year's.
Speaker 3 (02:53):
Rocke and Eveline headline.
Speaker 5 (02:55):
Okay, it says that she's gonna headline Year's Rocket Eve
with Ryan Seacrest, so performing live from Times Square and
it's together we begin a new year.
Speaker 3 (03:04):
So let's embrace a.
Speaker 5 (03:05):
New beginning, new opportunities, new joy a celebration of love where.
Speaker 3 (03:07):
We all come together as we begin twenty twenty six.
Speaker 4 (03:10):
That's what she should sare a generation of people who
know she is.
Speaker 3 (03:13):
I don't know.
Speaker 5 (03:15):
I mean I'm coming out song, Yeah, pretty big upside down,
that's pretty.
Speaker 1 (03:21):
But I mean you still wouldn't know it if you
weren't in the scene of some sort that plays.
Speaker 3 (03:25):
It, you know what I mean, that's true.
Speaker 6 (03:27):
Yeah, I'm just like you know, I know who she is, right, Yeah,
but maybe they're looking at the people who stay at
home and watch Dick Clark.
Speaker 4 (03:33):
Also they also.
Speaker 3 (03:35):
Know, but it seems like they're catering to everybody.
Speaker 5 (03:37):
I mean, the New Year's Rock and Eve has thirty
nine artists across multiple cities. Obviously mari carry Post Malone Chaperon,
and so many more.
Speaker 4 (03:46):
But I mean they all gonna be live or something
are gonna be recorded.
Speaker 3 (03:49):
I'm pretty sure that all of these are.
Speaker 1 (03:51):
Going to be some of some have been recorded already. Yeah, yeah,
so yeah, yeah, I've read stories about it, so yeah,
I don't know who's going to be live, who's not
have already been recorcorded? Yeah, I know Mariah Carey is
recording something. Well, actually, she just did it. She did
it in Vegas on Monday, because I'm on in Vegas.
We gave away tickets to the recording for New Year's Eve.
(04:12):
Ok so yeah, she's already recorded.
Speaker 4 (04:14):
Was that many artists? Yeah?
Speaker 1 (04:16):
Yeah, it was actually a free show. They just wanted
the crowds to be there.
Speaker 4 (04:20):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (04:20):
So they had like a casting company that did a
call and then we got our My station had like
tickets to get in and see it, and you only
got to see four songs because they're just getting you
in and out.
Speaker 3 (04:30):
Yeah, i mean for free.
Speaker 1 (04:31):
Yeah, it was free, but I'm sure it filled up
super powers.
Speaker 5 (04:33):
So yeah, they're saying eight pm on December thirty first,
and it's running to four a m.
Speaker 3 (04:38):
On ABC.
Speaker 6 (04:39):
Man for me here, I watch it and it's I
don't know if y'all the same way. You watch it
and you get hyped after New Years you watch it,
it's just not the same. I'll be asleep before am.
It's not the same energy. It was like, Okay, I'm
gonna go go do something else. All right, what do
we do?
Speaker 4 (04:53):
What do we do? We'd like to share with you?
Speaker 6 (04:55):
We call them updates And that's next on Johnny's House
six and it's about fifty one one if the temperature
hasn't dropped already. Yesterday, let's see left here. I had
to go home. I had a an ad agency call
that I had to do. Then I had a after that,
had a corporate call that I had to do, and
then I had to let's see, it was early day
(05:16):
after school, so I had to go pick up the
pick up the kid, go back home, cook and then
it was just baby DJ stuff one after another after another,
after another after another after another. It takes a lot
of time to do that. Watched my favorite nightly news.
Here's my thing. I watched the nightly news till about
six fifty. At six fifty, I turned it to the
Family Feud because that's when they played.
Speaker 1 (05:36):
A fast month. Oh yeah, I don't want to see
the whole game. Oh really, I just want to see
the fast money. Yeah and uh, and then I'll do
some other things. And that's when I start ramping it
down for the evening, Miss Ray.
Speaker 5 (05:47):
I was good Yesterdady to go home and take a
nap that I needed, and then I had a doctor's appointment.
Speaker 4 (05:54):
It's good you get results or anything.
Speaker 5 (05:55):
No, I just have to I have morse like scams
and stuff that I have to do. Basically, sorry, short,
there's something wrong with my thyroid.
Speaker 4 (06:01):
Yeah, which is.
Speaker 5 (06:03):
Very common for women, especially my wife deals with it.
So I'm dealing with that. But yeah, after that, I
went and got the kids and we went to the park.
It was nice out, but the temperatures dropped quickly. Yeah,
so I'm like, all of a sudden, they were like,
oh cool.
Speaker 6 (06:18):
I was telling Raydus yesterday. I don't think I told you, Brian.
When I got home, my mom went to a new
doctor yep, and they did these They she hadn't done
any scans or anything, and and my mom was telling
all these things, and the late told my mom said, yeah,
I think you might have cancer. My mom said, Mama said,
shut up, I don't have cancer. Good answer, she.
Speaker 1 (06:38):
Says, lady, you know, listen, I've been going to doctors
every day for the last three years. Yeah, I don't
have cancer. Go ahead and go back and do your
little things. That ain't it. And who says that.
Speaker 8 (06:49):
I hope she's not doing that to a lot of patience,
because Jesus, I mean, that's like that word frightens the
hell out of people, you know, but you know when
someone tells you that it's a certain feeling.
Speaker 4 (06:59):
When it's like when my mom told me that, I'm
like that ain't right. No, ain't right.
Speaker 1 (07:03):
I ain't accepting that crap. I said, lady, whatever, right,
that ain't it. We canna go to another one, just
like out of the blue, right, tell my mom like, okay,
your sugars up, your blood pressure is your heart? Okay,
you got another lady? Huhuh right, face somebody else's wild?
That is al way to start.
Speaker 6 (07:25):
I was like, no, no, we we were out so
much as let's go you ain't it.
Speaker 4 (07:30):
It's crazy A bunch of.
Speaker 1 (07:34):
Stuff around here. And then I went home and uh,
my new black Friday lawnmower that I got came in.
Speaker 4 (07:41):
Okay.
Speaker 1 (07:41):
I was very excited. Oh yeah, okay. My wife looking
like I'm so stupid, but I was so excited about it.
I put it all together.
Speaker 4 (07:49):
I charged.
Speaker 1 (07:49):
It's got double batteries because you know, so I put
the batteries in the charge a while. I put it
all together, and then I I used it to mow
the front yard, which I was very excited. I didn't
have enough juice to move both because I had had
a little charge, but I couldn't wait. I was very excited. Okay,
it has six settings, it's got a sport mode and
Eco mode. Do you haven'ty well, you might have grass
now because it rained a lot. Yeah yeah, yeah, yeah.
Speaker 9 (08:12):
No.
Speaker 1 (08:12):
I haven't cut my front grass in almost a month
and a half because it's that time of year. So
I was waiting because it needed it anyhow, But I
was very excited. So I'm giving my old lamower away.
Speaker 4 (08:21):
Okay.
Speaker 1 (08:22):
I put it on our neighborhood Facebook and I think
the lady thought I was trying to sell it, and
I'm like, I don't want any money for.
Speaker 4 (08:27):
It, just come get it. She's like, for real, but yeah,
what am I gonna do with that?
Speaker 1 (08:31):
I don't need it. Why would I charge you for it?
So yeah, so I'm gonna give that to her today.
I was very excited about it. Then we watched some
barren Sea Gold. There's a new show on called gold something. Oh,
there's a bunch of My wife watches a bunch. Most
of them are inland mines where they dig. Okay, barren
Sea Gold's the only one where they go out in
the ocean and try to get gold.
Speaker 6 (08:49):
I showed bright this device. Man, I'm thinking it was
stun It has to be a stunt stunt gold. Stunt
gold that you stick. You're sticking in the water and
it takes the sand and the water and it sucks
it through it too, and then runs it down like
this little slope and then the gold hangs out before
it hits the ground.
Speaker 4 (09:05):
And this person had.
Speaker 1 (09:05):
At least what about ten thousand dollars worth of goal
like that. I went on last night. I went back
on the kick of telling my wife man, me and
my friend Corey could do that. I said, we'd have
such a good time. Look at that's just two bros
on a boat chilling. And she's like, it's hard work.
Oh no, I know it's hard work, but I mean,
like it's an adventure every day.
Speaker 6 (09:23):
You can do that as long as your bills are paid.
But if you got to get that goal to pay
them bills, it's a whole different ball game.
Speaker 1 (09:30):
It's like, man, that'd be fun. I think it'd be
fun too, you know, if that go and go home?
Yeah right, I want some of my luxuries. There are
no luxuries in no Molascar. That's true, all right.
Speaker 6 (09:42):
The day is National app Day, not appetizers, but app
where your phone. We're gonna talk about how many you
have and how many us coming up on Johnny's house.

Speaker 4 (10:15):
Okay.
Speaker 1 (10:15):
They say the average person has eighty apps on their phone,
but they only use nine on a daily basis. Nine
nine is what they use on a daily basis. So
I mean some you use every week or whatever, but
on a day to day, every day, this is what
I use. The average person uses nine.
Speaker 4 (10:30):
All right, So Brown, we'll start with you. How many
apps do you have?
Speaker 1 (10:32):
One hundred and forty three, one hundred and forty three

See, I didn't do that daily.
Speaker 1 (11:20):
And I use hard rock bet a lot but I
stopped using it daily because I was betting on table
tennis too much. So now I don't do it daily.
Speaker 4 (11:26):
I do it weekly.
Speaker 1 (11:27):
But I don't want to count it daily because then
I check on my crypto daily.
Speaker 4 (11:30):
I do that daily.
Speaker 1 (11:31):
That's on my list. And see what else do I
do here? I shouldn't Let's see, I'm trying to. I'm
just going through actually my advent health. I go through
that one daily. Let's see, did you count the one

Speaker 3 (11:45):

Speaker 1 (12:04):
A lot of places force you to download apps now
instead of using website. So I ordered food from a
place one time, one time ever, and I had to
download out. So I need to delete it because I
have no reason for it.
Speaker 3 (12:16):
Yeah.
Speaker 6 (12:17):
Now I'm trying to find some ones that I never
use on mine next door because we don't have one
that's for the neighborhood thing.
Speaker 5 (12:24):
I add to delete that. The notifications are outrageous.
Speaker 4 (12:27):

use that one.
Speaker 1 (12:30):

I am so a long time ago.
Speaker 4 (13:09):
Oh let's see, I don't even know what that one is.
Speaker 9 (13:12):

Speaker 4 (13:12):
I do use my Bobino app, that's my favorite.

Speaker 1 (15:46):
Okay, yeah, okay, okay, okay, because I don't I flip. Really,

Now, like last one, do you have the ones you
use the ten all on the same page.
Speaker 9 (16:48):
I do not.
Speaker 13 (16:49):
I actually have them all in little tiles, and I

all okay, pretty good choice.
Speaker 4 (18:22):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (18:23):
Yeah.
Speaker 5 (18:23):
So now one thing that people are kind of a
little outraged. Morgan Wallan was just named the Billboard's Top
Artist of twenty twenty five, And basically what they're saying
is that his album Yes I'm the Problem, It's a monster.
Speaker 3 (18:37):
Like, it's dominating.
Speaker 5 (18:38):
It was the most listened to album I'm on Apple
Music worldwide, number one on Spotify, but when it dropped,
Morgan charted thirty seven songs on the Hot one hundred.
But people are saying that they're not really thrilled because
of his past controversies and how it.
Speaker 3 (18:53):
Always sparks outrage.
Speaker 5 (18:55):
But I'm like, you can't define the person's actions.
Speaker 3 (18:58):
You need to separate it from the work.
Speaker 17 (19:00):
You know, sometimes and then somebody go killing Yeah, but
you have to look at the context in the actions.
Speaker 1 (19:05):
Morgan Wallan didn't trap anybody in a basic that's true.
He haltop people, He threw a chair off of a roof,
acted like a drunk idiot.
Speaker 3 (19:15):
Yeah, he did say the N word, So I.
Speaker 1 (19:17):
Don't that was way before he blew up. That was like, gosh,
five years ago.
Speaker 3 (19:21):
That's true.
Speaker 1 (19:22):
And and when again context it was him and his
video game budd He's talking to each other like they
talked to each other.
Speaker 4 (19:27):
It just happened to be videoed.
Speaker 1 (19:28):
Again, not an excuse, but it's context.
Speaker 18 (19:31):
Yeah.
Speaker 5 (19:31):
So on top of that, some global songs apt Rose
Rose and Bruno Mars Rose.
Speaker 1 (19:40):
Rose. I mean you could, but I always see that
little thing at the end.
Speaker 5 (19:43):
Of yeah, yeah, let's see here. Top duo hunt tracks
from K pop Demon Hunters. That is an obvious one.
Sabrina Carpenter's on the list is a so I mean,
I agree with Billboard.
Speaker 3 (19:53):
I think they did a good job.
Speaker 6 (19:55):
Biblical say, I hate what you're saying, but he would
out singing right cast at first Stone, That's all I'm saying.
Speaker 1 (20:01):
Still away from yeah, that would be that would be
like being mad at any success jelly Roll has because
of his past. Yeah, you know what I mean, like, yeah,
what are we doing here? But you know what, it's
a context. Had the baby people get mad about what
every artist that you could think of as a thing
Brill Mars, you had a little running with the Cocay.
(20:24):
I mean when we had we got an interview and
the said you cannot bring up they don't it up.
So every artist you talk about had to run in
with something. So we're just not gonna recognize any of them.
Besides fifty He maybe he's shot a few times. He's
been messing around to Taylor Swift might well know because
she had her little mean girl thing with where she
got caught with Kanye and Kim.
Speaker 3 (20:44):
So like everyone has something, everybody's got something.
Speaker 5 (20:47):
So the Mecala is returning, and it looks like Beyonce
is returning to the Macala as the twenty twenty six
co chair but joining her Nicole Kidman, Venus Williams and
a Winner co chair.
Speaker 3 (20:57):
Yeah is that wild?
Speaker 4 (20:59):
And she had been in how many.
Speaker 1 (21:00):
Years Beyonce, I don't know, she'd be like like eight
or nine years.
Speaker 3 (21:03):
I don't remember the last time she went.
Speaker 1 (21:05):
The elevator thing.
Speaker 3 (21:06):
Oh yeah.
Speaker 5 (21:08):
So but additional hosts and committee members include uh A,
Subrina Carpenter, Dojakat, Sam Smith, Zoe Kravitz.
Speaker 3 (21:14):
So there's a lot of people that are on this
like board.
Speaker 5 (21:18):
But the event supports the costume Institute and aligns with
the new costume art. So I mean May fourth, every
single year, it's when it happens. But people were excited.
Speaker 4 (21:27):
That, like this said, the last time she went was
twenty sixteen.
Speaker 3 (21:30):
I wonder if that's that's the elevator.
Speaker 1 (21:32):
The elevator, Yeah, she said, that's been going talk about it.
It's up a radio station in Orlando, Florida. So the
problem is the designer of the dress that sparked it
all brought it up recently in an interview. He said
it was all because of a comment that Jay Z
met on the red carpet about a dress he made
for someone else. So long thought it was out of
pocket to say that it was a little too like
(21:54):
complimentary and disrespectful. In the elevator, she brought that up,
and that's when it got into the fight and then
they came out. Now, who knows if he's just trying to,
you know, promote himself, is it really?
Speaker 4 (22:06):
He said, it all sparked from the one.
Speaker 6 (22:08):
That didn't go zero to few that went zero to
one thousand because of a comment I made over with
a dress.
Speaker 4 (22:12):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (22:14):
I mean, to me, that would have been like the
straw that broke the back that had been like me,
I've been I've been saying all these comments about ladies
for months. Yes, and here's it, and I'm sicking you
disrespecting my sister. And then I said, nice dress on,
nice dress. Yeah, but he knew that camera's rolling. Yeah,
I'm gonna go ahead and take this one man updateting.
You know what's happening in the world. We call it
(22:34):
what's trend that he won? Right now, Brian, what's trending?
Speaker 11 (22:36):
Man?
Speaker 1 (22:37):
The Federal Reserve cut interest rates again. Yes, by a
quarter of a percentage point. It's the third cut this year,
so now the rate is between three point five percent
and three point seventy five percent. It was a nine
to three vote, so that was the most no votes
in a while. So there are some people in the
Fed that think he should slow down a little bit.
So there's gonna be a few more cuts coming, but
(22:57):
they're gonna be slower, they said. So there's good right now.
Projection show one more cut in twenty twenty six, and
then one more in twenty twenty seven, so it won't
be three like it was. But we had gotten so
high that they kind of had to cut. So now
it's time to go buy a house a lot fast,
get it. So yeah, I mean you're getting to the
point now where you're like, all right, cool, I mean
you're waiting for it. Gas prizes a starting to get
under control. Jobs look pretty good. So yeah, so we'll see.
(23:19):
But yeahed, you should infect your credit cards too.
Speaker 4 (23:22):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (23:22):
Yeah, all your rates are based on that. So that's
pretty cool. This is for Ray bud Light teaming up
with the Buffalo Bills.
Speaker 9 (23:29):
What.
Speaker 1 (23:30):
Yes, they have a new Blizzard Brew and it's gonna
be brewed with the snow from snowfall at the stadium.
Speaker 3 (23:38):
Are you kidding me?
Speaker 1 (23:39):
Yeah, says the snow is using the brew is gotta
be collected after the first snowfall of the season happened
last month. Okay, so Blizzard Brew is going to be
sold in sixteen ounce cans and available at retailers, but
only in the Buffalo area.
Speaker 4 (23:50):
So you need to call your peopeople a pure fight
a heck out of that water.
Speaker 3 (23:52):
No, No, it's fine, I'll be there the twenty sixth.
Speaker 1 (23:55):
They're going to use it for the Bills game January
fourth against the New York Jet. You could buy it.
It's their final home game of the regular season. So
tell you, tell your family, get you some Blizzard Brew,
don't uh duuhh. So this is the last season at
high Mark Stadium.
Speaker 4 (24:12):
Yeah that's stadium.
Speaker 3 (24:13):
Yeah yeah, this is the final.
Speaker 4 (24:17):
Outdoor into it.
Speaker 3 (24:17):
It's out. It's got to be out.
Speaker 1 (24:20):
That's your advantage.
Speaker 7 (24:21):
Now.
Speaker 6 (24:21):
It used to be like in a in a in Minnesota.
Theirs was outdoing then he put a.
Speaker 7 (24:25):
Dome on it.
Speaker 3 (24:26):
There's no dome option. No Buffalo wants it has their advantage.
Speaker 1 (24:29):
Now they'll never get a Super Bowl, probably because of
it because of the weather, but they don't care because
it's their advantage. That's pretty cool. So yeah, tell your family,
gets you something sweet. It's called Blizzard Brew. And the
Powerball jackpot it's worth one billion dollars.
Speaker 4 (24:44):
Now I made a point to go get a.
Speaker 1 (24:47):
So nobody matched the numbers last night for nine hundred
and thirty millions. So the grand prize is going to
roll over Saturday's drawing. It's going to be nine hundred
or over billion dollars and it grows fast when it
hits a billion, so it could be even more than
that by the time the drawing happens. A one time
cash payment would be four hundred and sixty million. You
would have have the numbers in front of you, would you.
Let's see, because I got this powerball ticket in an
(25:07):
Apple Curler, which I really didn't want he actually do
Now there were no million dollar winners.
Speaker 3 (25:11):
And see Apple Curler.
Speaker 1 (25:13):
Yeah, yeah, I didn't want to either, but hey, you
got more out of that than you did the pill Yes, ten,
no sixteen, got that one, twenty nine, No thirty three,
no sixty nine, no powerball twenty two.
Speaker 4 (25:28):
No, I got one number? Yeah one?
Speaker 1 (25:30):
Yeah, there's no million dollar winners second year. Yeah no,
I don't believe so so yeah, sorry, sorry.
Speaker 4 (25:37):
For your luck.
Speaker 1 (25:38):
Now there is a guy who was lucky and o'calla,
which is pretty cool. He got a scratch off ticket
and won fifteen million bucks. Who Yeah, his name is David.
I won't give his last name out because you know,
he's an o'callon. He probably don't want to be messed with. Hey,
So he got the gold Rush Multipliers scratch off at
Circle K and o'calla.
Speaker 4 (25:57):
Wow, he scratched it and he got.
Speaker 1 (25:59):
Twelve million, fifteen million bucks and he's gonna take the
lump sum of nine million. I bet he cussed when
he got it. I would no, no blank. I've won
fifteen dollars on the scratch off last night. So did
you really okay?
Speaker 4 (26:11):
I paid ten. You've had you've had two finders this week?
Speaker 1 (26:15):
Yeah, I paid tens.
Speaker 4 (26:16):
I really want this.
Speaker 1 (26:18):
I bet a lot of money on notre Day and
not making the playoff.
Speaker 4 (26:20):
I won big there. I bet a little money. I
want a lot.
Speaker 6 (26:23):
No, all right, all right, all right, it's time to
play the throwback game. As we asked the question from
back in the day in fortyfferent categories. You have movie premises,
you have music, pop, trivia, and TV. And today, if
you win, we're gonna hook you up with second road tickets,
second road tickets and floor These are floor seats to
the trance I be in Orchestra having at the Kia
Center on the thirteenth. If you like to go, you
(26:45):
just gotta win, and then to win, you got a
call four oh seven now one nine one o six
seven eight seven seven nine one nine one of six
seven you've been thinking about.
Speaker 4 (26:53):
Playing in the past, Now the time to play.
Speaker 6 (26:55):
Second road tickets to the trance I be an orchestra
at the Kia Center. Four oh seven now one nine
I one O six seven eight seven seven nine one
nine one O six seven. You can play along if
you don't get in, we call it throwback game and
we'll get next done. Johnny's House for our Baby DJ
Toy warehouse a couple things, so we just had to
add a shift on Saturday afternoon. If you can come
out Saturday afternoon and help to the baby DJ warehouse,
(27:17):
which is an ovedo. We got a big shipment of
toys coming in. Or we need you to do is
help us unload the toys and sort them, probably about
hour and a half two hours max. If you can
do that on Saturday, go to babydj dot org. It'll
be a lot of fun just unloading the truck and
putting away some toys. We just found out we got
a big truck coming in on Saturday, and if not
then it'll just be us doing it. So if you
can help us do that, and a lot of you
(27:39):
companies wanted to adopt families. If you want adopt families,
go down to the Baby DJ Warehouse at the Ovito
Mall from nine until five. We'll set up there and
we'll give you a book of some of the families
that we're helping, and you just pick a family that
touches your heart and then you'll take care of their
their Christmas, you and your company or you as an individual,
if you'd like to do so, please just go down
to the baby DJ ware House ninety five Monday through Friday,
(28:01):
and we're going to try to get it all done
by Tuesday of next week, because at that point we
gotta let those families know that we're gonna help them.
But it'll be best if you help them, because you'll
do a whole lot better, a whole lot more than
we're doing because your company and you listen to those
families needs and you can help them. So a lot
of that you can find it babydj dot org volunteering
and adopting families. Just go down to the baby DJ
Warehouse between nine and five and get that starting.
Speaker 4 (28:23):
All right.
Speaker 6 (28:24):
I want to find out when did you buy the
wrong gift? I did it yesterday. Now I'm in a rush.
I just realized that a week two weeks from the
day is Christmas, so I had to order some things
to be I had to be delivered before that time.
Now I'm very I'm very when I need I'm one
of those that if you if you say something, I'll
(28:44):
remember that. If you mention that you want something, I'll
remember that. I'll ask a question to get to a
b I won't just say, hey, what's your shoe size?
I'll say something like, man, you got some big feet,
what's out of those? Something like that. Do not let
you know what I'm trying to do, all right? So
I thought I had the right answers, and then I
sent my girl a questionnaire. I'm like, look, I'm just
gonna throw this to you. What's your favorite color, what's
(29:06):
your size? What's this? What's all of that? And something
I already bought and it's on the way is wrong
and I can't send it back.
Speaker 3 (29:15):
Didn't your mama ever tell you never to buy a woman's.
Speaker 1 (29:16):
Shoes shoes because they'll walk right stop you taking a bread?
Had and said that bride helped you with. No, there
weren't shoes.
Speaker 6 (29:30):
But I bought something and it was it was like
either the wrong it was the wrong, uh color, it
was wrong this, it was something wrong that was on
the list, and I just sank.
Speaker 3 (29:39):
I was like, oh damn, yeah.
Speaker 6 (29:42):
So I'm thinking about just selling it.
Speaker 13 (29:46):
There you go.
Speaker 4 (29:46):
I might have to. I might have to do that.
Speaker 6 (29:48):
So I want to find when did you buy something
and it was the wrong thing? Wrong size, one, wrong style,
wrong color. I don't I don't like buying women's clothing.
I know what I like, but women are different, like
that doesn't look good on my body or you know
that kind of thing. So I stay away from from
stuff like that, you know, because I get it wrong.
I know I want to see you, but if you,
you know, guys are simple, Give me a nice shirt,
(30:10):
here's my here's my wating pants, and I'll be fine.
Anytime I get some free clothes, I got no problem.
You ever buy a gift is wrong and you're.
Speaker 1 (30:17):
You're above the law.
Speaker 5 (30:18):
No, I just right now, I'm trying to order something
and get it in. It's coming after Christmas. Oh no,
I canceled it. Screw it because I fly out on
the twenty six to two. I'm like, I can't risk
it coming and shipping in after Christmas and then me
not being there.
Speaker 4 (30:35):
Some places a lot to you to get that order,
I know.
Speaker 5 (30:38):
But luckily, like on Amazon, it'll tell you arrives after Christmas,
it's tell us it arrives before Christmas.
Speaker 4 (30:46):
Here's something.
Speaker 6 (30:46):
Now, I do a lot with Amazon too, and I'm
not talking bad about the company, but they'll tell you
they'll be on that day, and then they'll get your
a little note saying unfortunately something happened that we can't
deliver today. It'll be tomorrow, and then you're sitting there
waiting and it never comes. That's the thing at this
point in the game. If you're ordering, it's the waiting game.
It's the hope that it'll get that game. How about
your brother.
Speaker 1 (31:05):
I don't really do stuff like that, so I can't
get it wrong. Like I don't buy my wife clothes
or anything like that because I know better.
Speaker 4 (31:12):
Uh huh.
Speaker 1 (31:12):
I just don't because I know nothing about fashion or
any of that stuff. And I don't know what to
get her like when it comes to that, so I don't.
I've never really gotten any long before.
Speaker 4 (31:20):
Damn.
Speaker 1 (31:21):
Yeah. And usually we do like experienced type stuff, so
I know what she wants to do.
Speaker 6 (31:26):
So see the hundred it's not one hundred percent my fault.
And I'm gonna tell you why because I sent the
question over last week and it got sent came back
to me with what I like. I'm like, No, I
wasn't asking you what I like. It wasn't a question
heil how much you know me. It was a question
of what I need to find out about you. And
then she sat on it, and then I got it
four days later, yesterday after I had to go ahead
and buy the thing. So I ain't technically at myself
(31:47):
my fault that I ain't have the information in front.
Speaker 3 (31:50):
Okay, So if it makes you feel better about it, get.
Speaker 4 (31:55):
My money back.
Speaker 6 (31:56):
I want to find out when did you get something
wrong or in race case you ordered it and you
find out it's gonna be here after the holiday. Four

You're doing your shopping and you say, you know what,
I got the gift wrong? Wrong, wrong, I was not
paying attention size, colors, jape, whatever it is, you got
it wrong. Or you say you know what, I'm gonna
order something, it's gonna get here on time, and you
realize it's not going to get here. Pair of tickets
to light lights on, it's gonna transform. The Bervard Zoo
is happening Thursday through Sunday through July January eighteenth at
(32:58):
the Bravard Zoo. Find out when did you get it wrong?
From winter Haven? Hey Jackie, Hey, Hi Jackie, When did
you get something wrong?
Speaker 18 (33:07):
Oh? Man, So this was years ago, of course, dating
my now husband. We were in high school, seniors in
high school, and we were going out shopping for things,
and I used to think I'm an amazing gift giver.
And I observed his mother. I was like, oh, she
will love these shoes. There were shoes, they had different patterns.
Speaker 12 (33:28):
I was like, she has an eccentric style.
Speaker 18 (33:30):
And everything she's gonna love it. It's like Debra and
Red and whatever. I thought I was on the money.
She got that's it sound off, but if you knew
her style, you would think it was heard.
Speaker 2 (33:39):
Okay, got him the day of.
Speaker 18 (33:41):
I'm glad I wasn't there when she opened the gifts
because when she opened it, she was like.
Speaker 10 (33:45):
Oh my god, he was so tacky.
Speaker 18 (33:47):
I was like, oh no, but he took the blame
for me. So that was that was he had my bag.
Speaker 1 (33:57):
But at that point you said, one, damn, I marry
that man, a married man.
Speaker 19 (34:02):
Listen, he had my bag.
Speaker 10 (34:03):
He did not put it on. He didn't say it
was I would.
Speaker 4 (34:08):
Have said it was you and a heartbeat, you know,
it wouldn't mean man, I was jacket.
Speaker 12 (34:11):
We would not be twelve years in me.
Speaker 6 (34:13):
Yeah, there you go, there you go, there you go.
See some positive came out of that. You hold on
a second.
Speaker 4 (34:19):
What to Park?
Speaker 9 (34:19):
Hey, Heather, Hey, good morning.
Speaker 6 (34:22):
All right, So you expected something and it was gonna
get there late.
Speaker 9 (34:26):
Yes, Oh, I actually want to go buy it was
arguably a bit worse than a Christmas present. A year
in advance, I went to go get the wedding gift ooh.
And I show up to order and they're like, you
have to order this like two to three years in advance.
So they offered to give me the box with a
photo of the watch inside of it, and like, you
can give them the box with the photo and it'll
(34:47):
come after the wedding. And I was thinking, Oh, that's
not gonna work.
Speaker 4 (34:51):
What is what kind of gift takes two years to
get there?
Speaker 3 (34:54):
Yeah? Seriously a watch?
Speaker 9 (34:56):
Some some watches.
Speaker 1 (34:58):
Yeah, I mean they like hand make it.
Speaker 13 (35:01):
They do, they make it abroad because.
Speaker 6 (35:03):
Look, because I don't know, there's a special there's a
special magical mall that you could have found that.
Speaker 1 (35:08):
Right, I d C has a ton of robots. You
forgot that what it.
Speaker 9 (35:16):
Was, believe it or not, real quick. A pre owned
can sometimes be more expensive than a new.
Speaker 4 (35:20):
One, for sure, for sure.
Speaker 9 (35:22):
Entry level new one that was in my budget. And
I was all excited, and I said, and they said,
you should have been here two years ago, and I said,
well I wasn't, So what do I do now? And thankfully,
well thankfully for me, sucks for somebody else. They pre
ordered theirs, but they couldn't get to pick it up.
And they don't let them ship it, so they sold
me one else's pre order failure, but it was double
(35:45):
the cough oh as much for it.
Speaker 4 (35:47):
Ye, these are good friends of yours.
Speaker 9 (35:49):
Right, this is my my wife.
Speaker 6 (35:54):
Oh you're right, okay, oh okay, Oh it was a
wedding to your wife. Oh okay, I thought it was
a wedding here for somebody else. I'm like, God, don't
sit here and tell me that y'all ain't friends no more.
Speaker 11 (36:07):
No the one you get like the day of the
big wedding. Oh yes, And to give them a box
with a photo of the watch in it, and they're like,
otherwise you're going to get it after the wedding, and
I was like, no, that's not gonna work.
Speaker 4 (36:19):
So you paid double and you got it.
Speaker 9 (36:22):
There she got a better watch.
Speaker 6 (36:24):
Now, how long did it take for your for you
to tell her that story?
Speaker 7 (36:29):
Like the day?
Speaker 10 (36:30):
Damn right?
Speaker 6 (36:32):
Right?
Speaker 1 (36:33):
I want credit? Yeah? Hold on the Power by Attorney
Dan Newlan interrect need to check. It's no bring to
call Attorney Dan Newlan's this is good. One year, my
son in middle school was really into ramen noodles, so
my mom decided to buy him a shirt that said
send nudes because she thought it meant noodles. Yes, she
(37:01):
had no idea. She was like, what he school?
Speaker 3 (37:05):
Yes, I mean.
Speaker 6 (37:09):
That right there is owing a pair of lights on
when they transformed into a Bervard zoo from six to
nine Thursday through Sunday.
Speaker 4 (37:17):
Now through January eighthenth you are going ray? What's going now?
Speaker 2 (37:20):
The Johnny's House Entertainment News with's.
Speaker 5 (37:23):
Rae Entertainment News is tantivy fair Ones Credit Union.
Speaker 3 (37:26):
So I don't know about you, bo Er, I'm kind
of over the whole.
Speaker 5 (37:29):
Justin Baldemi honestly, yeah so, but I mean, if you
do care, they their legal battle has hit another delay.
Judge Lewis Lemon basically postponed their upcoming civil trial. So
originally it's supposed to happen March ninth, Now it's being
pushed back to May eighteenth.
Speaker 3 (37:47):
By then, we really shouldn't care, you know.
Speaker 5 (37:50):
So the judge is also scheduled a January twenty second
hearing for a summary judgment arguments and instructed both sides
to reach out. But yeah, so right now, what it
looks like is Justin Baldoni is seeking more than one
hundred and sixty million dollars in damages. He previously filed
four hundred million dollar countersuit.
Speaker 3 (38:10):
Which was dismissed.
Speaker 4 (38:12):
So what is she asking for?
Speaker 3 (38:14):
She sued him because.
Speaker 4 (38:17):
He's so I know.
Speaker 5 (38:17):
It's like, yeah, I don't know exactly how much he's
going for.
Speaker 6 (38:22):
Mostly back and go, hey, listen, at this point, we're
losing money. Leave me alone. I'm leave you alone.
Speaker 1 (38:26):
Yeah, you never worked for me again, and I won't
say anything bad about you, Unlet's just go on about
our lives.
Speaker 5 (38:30):
Yeah, I don't know. I mean, you know you like
me his countersuits. I'm telling you that movie was so good.
If you haven't seen it or if you have time
over the holiday break to watch it, it is really good.
In their chemistry is there? And now Taylor Swift was
asking a judge. Her legal team is urging a judge
to end what they call an observe, frivolous and harassing
(38:53):
lawsuit from all the YEP who claims Taylor Swift stole
line and themes from more than a dozen songs. One
similar case was already dismissed in September, and now there's
another one that popped up. But in her new motion,
Taylor Swift's lawyers are arguing again that this poet is
(39:14):
trying to basically think, like monopolize off of these basic
themes in metaphors.
Speaker 6 (39:21):
And you know, and they're probably correct on that. But
if you're an artist and you've been struggling and you
hear a couple of lines that you have written, now
they're generic lines.
Speaker 4 (39:29):
Anybody could have wrote those lines.
Speaker 6 (39:31):
You hear it and you started to go, Okay, enough,
I'm suing because she stole my work and I'm not
getting paid.
Speaker 4 (39:36):
He may really believe that happened.
Speaker 5 (39:38):
Yeah, you know, so, I mean there was multiple instances
like of a like verbatim phrasing is what they're saying.
But then there's another example where it's not really one
comparison was you caged me and told me I'm crazy
from her poem and Taylor Swift said, you caged me
and then you called me crazy.
Speaker 6 (39:56):
Doom don't don't to get don't don't. I mean, does
he have proof that he wrote it first? Is there
any connection that did he know somebody in her camp?
Speaker 4 (40:07):
Did?
Speaker 1 (40:07):
I mean, you can't change you can't change like two
little words that are not even important words in a
line and say it's not the same because it is
the same. Wow, he's got to prove that he had
it first and show them.
Speaker 5 (40:21):
But she's trying to get it all dismissed obviously once
and for all, because, like I said, this is multiple
instances where this person, this poet, has gone after her saying,
you guys steal my lines.
Speaker 3 (40:31):
You guys did this.
Speaker 6 (40:32):
Here's the reality in all entertainment. If you've made it
and you see someone that hasn't, they steal their stuff.
Comedians do it all the time, they say they do.
So he's like, well that you've done that to me,
and she said prove it. I mean, that's that's pretty
dead on listen, you got the lie?
Speaker 10 (40:48):
What is it game?
Speaker 4 (40:49):
I know you put it to the side.
Speaker 5 (40:50):
I mean like, all right, so you caged me and
told me I'm crazy. That's from the poet, okay, and
Taylor Swift said, you cage me and then you called
me crazy.
Speaker 4 (41:00):
You called me versus you told me.
Speaker 1 (41:03):
You caged me and you saw that I was crazy.
Speaker 5 (41:10):
I'll have to look up more lines or like how
many because if there's like fifty lines.
Speaker 4 (41:14):
Right, he was just saying, but she got more powerful
lawyers there, I.
Speaker 3 (41:17):
Know, which is unfortunate, and that's the way the world works.
Speaker 16 (41:20):
It is.
Speaker 4 (41:21):
I know, I'm just saying he might be right.
Speaker 5 (41:24):
But like I said, if there's like fifty lines from
a poem that like she's written or she has, and
then Taylor Swift has like fifty of the similar lines.
Speaker 1 (41:32):
Oh, I told you last week someone stole one of
my names. And I'm reposted a sports guy because he
has a million followers and I have, you know, ten thousand,
and everyone's like, this is hilarious. I'm like, yeah, it was,
but I did it. He said, he an't tagged me
or nothing. He said, I prove it.
Speaker 3 (41:46):
He said, half a ride rhyme.
Speaker 1 (41:48):
I actually can. I have a timestamp, But when I
posted it versus when he posted.
Speaker 4 (41:51):
It, might have to go that way.
Speaker 6 (41:53):
All right, stories are weird, but that's true. She's gonna
get up to sixty six and it is sunny today.
We have a true Brian with something.
Speaker 1 (42:00):
This is crazy. There was a woman in China. She
had her left ear torn off in a factory accident.
Her hair got caught in some machinery tor to ear off.
Doctors could not put it back on right away because
the blood vessels were all damaged, but the doctors came
up with another idea. They attached the ear to the
bottom of her foot to keep it alive because they
have very similar skin types. So she walked around with
(42:23):
ear that how long to her foot. Then they worked
ten hours using needles and thread betner than a human
hair to connect all the tiny blood vessels. Five months
she had to walk around with an ear on her foot,
keeping it alive. Well, they finally removed the ear from
her foot and they put it back where it's supposed
(42:43):
to go.
Speaker 6 (42:44):
Why they wait five months? You would wait on a
payment of some insurance thing.
Speaker 1 (42:47):
They had to wait for the vessels to heal right
on her head so then they could reattach it using
the tiny thread to those vessels from her Wow.
Speaker 6 (42:58):
Okay, science, I want to see photos.
Speaker 4 (43:01):
Science, I'm crazy.
Speaker 1 (43:02):
Dude, you gotta get like a special shoe you can't
with your ear foot. Wow, that's crazy, but I mean things.
I'm not sure if she could still hear anything, but
least she got both ears. Now, that's pretty cool.
Speaker 4 (43:12):
Okay. As a guy who's forty one, he's known as
the Escape King.
Speaker 1 (43:15):
He has now broken out of another maximum security prison
in Italy. This is the fourth escape in sixteen years.
He's set to be released in twenty forty eight. He
stole a file from a prison workshop, cut through the
cell window, climbed down using a rope made of knotted
bedshoes just like the movies, across the courtyard, and then
jumped the outer wall. And it was during a guard
(43:35):
shift change. So he has escaped now in twenty two,
thousand and nine, twenty thirteen, and twenty twenty three, and now,
okay here.
Speaker 6 (43:43):
Now I'll say the first two they didn't know. But
if you're in your fifth prison and you're known as
the escape King and they don't have some type of
cameras or something watching you at all times, that's on.
Speaker 3 (43:54):
You, right, that's like what's his name?
Speaker 5 (43:55):
When he was sitting at a bar when he had
a tropo went back to jaw. You know they're going
to make sure he's never So.
Speaker 1 (44:02):
In twenty twenty three, he used the human pyramid of
other inmates to get over the wall up And how.
Speaker 6 (44:08):
Did he talk those into I'm like brown, like that,
are you taking me over the wall?
Speaker 1 (44:12):
Which I don't know, I don't know. That's crude. And
I only bring this up because we are gonna have
this here in central Florida and Orlando pretty soon. There
was a three way incident in San Francisco between Waimo cars.
Speaker 4 (44:25):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (44:25):
Waimo told the San Francisco Chronicle that the first two
robotaxis made a minor contact with each other while trying
to execute multipoint turns to exit a cul de sect.
Speaker 4 (44:35):
The third one rolled.
Speaker 1 (44:36):
Up because it just followed him and couldn't get out
because the other two were in the way.
Speaker 5 (44:40):
I saw the video and people were dying in the streets,
like really.
Speaker 4 (44:43):
Really, they're just dead enough. The car is no driving.
Speaker 3 (44:45):
The whole street was blocked.
Speaker 4 (44:46):
Yeah, the whole street. They couldn't. Nobody could get around it.
Speaker 1 (44:48):
So one way Moo tried to turn around because there
was no outlet that it into a street that it
went into. When it did, it ran into another Waimo,
and the third Waimo came in and got stuck behind those.
So it's basically just bottling up all the traffic.
Speaker 6 (44:59):
Now.
Speaker 1 (44:59):
There is a second video. It shows someone who appears
to be a Way More employee opening the doors and
manually driving the cars out and then getting out, and
then then they start driving themselves again.
Speaker 4 (45:10):
Now is that the car? They said, it's coming to Centralia.
Speaker 3 (45:12):
Yeah.
Speaker 6 (45:12):
Now, I've seen two stories. I saw one yesterday where
lady gave birth in it and they called her. I
guess they called and she was in the car. She
said I'm having a baby and they had the way
I'm an take her. And the other one is that
it's having problems recognizing school bus stop signs.
Speaker 4 (45:25):
Yes, and they said, oh, we put an update.
Speaker 7 (45:27):
It's good.
Speaker 4 (45:27):
They said, just like that, we put an update.
Speaker 1 (45:29):
Two weeks ago. One drove through a police standoff. Oh yeah,
I saw that guns drawn dude laying on the ground.
Speaker 4 (45:33):
The car just rolls up and it was like the
police went slow motion. They got to got down all
of a sudden, It's like, like, what are we doing here?
Is that a Is that a car?
Speaker 1 (45:41):
Yeah? That's going on. So, yeah, it's new technology. Hey,
I'm gonna let it work the kings out before I
get it. But I'm not against it. I'm fine.
Speaker 4 (45:49):
I'm just kidding.
Speaker 1 (45:50):
I'm gonna let the kinks get worked out, y'all. Let
me know how it goes in then that is funny.
We'll keep you updated on those, especially when they come
to town. I think we should be the first one
to ride in it should do the show in the
back of the Yeah, just around town. Yeah's do it.
Speaker 6 (46:01):
Hey, but they about to make sure this department can't
come there. Something's wrong. We gonna be in there, all right.
Listen our Baby DJ Programmers on the way. We're gonna
call a family and help them and let you know.
It's what it's all about. Whether our Baby DJ program.
We'll do that next on Johnny's House stops.
Speaker 3 (46:14):
Also, it's fifty three.
Speaker 6 (46:16):
Fifty three, okay, it's gonna be sunny, only getting up
to sixty six today. All right, Baby DJ Programmers underway.
If you're new to listening, it's the program that we
do here Johnny's House. We run it. We help families
right here in Central Florida. One hundred percent of what
we collect stays here in Central Florida, and we try
to help the families that are need. This holiday season,
(46:36):
we've had families write us up and write us and
tell us about what was happening in their families. And
we read all those letters and they're being contacted now
to come down to the warehouse, which has a few
toys but not enough to fulfill the numbers that we have,
we can use your help. We had to open up
a shift on Saturday about three point thirty. If you're
available Saturday about three to thirty for about an hour
an hour and a half, we're gonna get a shipment
(46:56):
of toys in. We need to unload the trucks and
separate and so those things. If you can allow some time,
if you have some time, go to babydj dot org
you'll see Saturday the thirteenth and sign up and just
meet us at the Oviedo Mall and just help us
unload those toys and we'll have adoption letters. These are
families that have written us that need some extra love.
If you, your company, your friends want to get together,
(47:18):
you go down to the BABYDJ warehouse from nine to
five Monday through Friday, and we're gonna end this on
Tuesday though. So if you go down today tomorrow on Monday,
read the letters and if you see a family and
their story that touches your heart, then you will take
that letter and you will fulfill their Christmas for them.
The reason we do it we ask people to we
read these letters on the air to let you know
(47:38):
and hopefully inspire you to donate a toy, to go
to a drop off location. To go to babydj dot org,
go to our Amazon wish list, donate money whatever you
can to help these families right here in central Florida.
Speaker 4 (47:49):
Here's a family we're gonna help.
Speaker 6 (47:51):
She says, Hi, everyone, I've been waiting for the submission
window to open for some time now. I really appreciate
everything you do for the community and enjoyed hearing the
way that you helped other families in the past. This year,
I find myself asking for help. I've recently left an
abusive relationship in learning to to navigate life as a
single mom with two kids. Despite doing everything I can
(48:13):
to keep it together and provide my kids with what
they need, we're struggling more than ever. Since the beginning
of the year, I have graduated with an associate's degree
and worked up the courage to leave my children's father,
all while working full time and caring for my two kids.
I work hard to make sure that the kids are
taken care of and that they feel loved and safe,
But by the time I cover the essentials along with
(48:34):
the bills, I'm barely scraping by. Oftentimes I have to
do payday loans just to make it from paycheck to paycheck.
My food stamps were cut in half recently, and with
the government shut down food and securities, it's been huge. Normally,
the holiday season the time for excitement and magical feelings,
but this year I feel dread because I'm afraid. I'm
afraid I won't be able to give them a Christmas
(48:55):
they deserve. As young children, they don't understand our struggles
and kill me that I have to tell them no
for even small things because I just don't have enough money.
Getting helped through the Baby DJ program would mean more
than me than you can imagine, the way it would
lift off my shoulders, knowing that even if hard times
are hard, my kids don't feel it, and it's magical
in itself. I'm working so hard to be able to
(49:17):
get a place one day that I'll be on the
other side of this and instead of asking for help,
I'll be able to make a difference in someone's life,
in what they're going through that I'm going through right now.
Thank you for considering my application and for everything you
do and making things like this possible. You're what keeps
true meaning of Christmas alive. Well We're gonna call up
(49:38):
Meghan and let her know that you know what, We're
going to take care of our family with our Baby
DJ program.
Speaker 4 (49:52):
Hi is this Meghan y?
Speaker 6 (49:55):
Hey, Megan is Johnny Magic fro Johnny's house with our
Baby DJ program.
Speaker 1 (50:01):

Speaker 6 (50:01):

Speaker 15 (50:06):

Speaker 4 (50:10):

our community has really come together. They are donating toys
and donations, and we want to make sure that you
can get everything you want for those boys, for your children,
for your with our Baby DJ Program.
Speaker 16 (50:29):
I appreciate everybody's help.
Speaker 4 (50:31):

Speaker 10 (51:01):

Speaker 16 (51:03):

what they want and we'll have that in the warehouse.

but it's the community that comes together and these amazing

you guys with your mission, and we want to say
thank you to them real quick.
Speaker 16 (51:19):
Appreciate everybody.
Speaker 3 (51:20):
Thank you to our title sponsor.

plus everybody in Central Florida who donated.
Speaker 4 (51:32):
Well, listen, you know what.
Speaker 18 (51:33):
I'm just trying to register it.
Speaker 4 (51:35):
Oh it's okay.
Speaker 6 (51:35):
Listen you kids shouldn't have to understand the struggle you're
going through, and we're going to make sure they don't
have to this year with our program. And we wanted
to say Merry Christmas.
Speaker 9 (51:44):
To you, Megan, thank you, Merry Christmas to you guys
and everybody who helps out with This is.
Speaker 5 (51:49):
The most popular day of the year to break up. Really, yeah,
so they're calling it breakup Day. So according to this
fifteen years ago they started this research and they use
Facebook statistics to study when people are most likely to
change their status from in a relationship to single. Okay,
(52:10):
and today had the biggest spike, and so they looked
into it and that's why they're considering it breakup Day.
A more recent study from the dating app actually found
that three and four online daters have experienced a breakup
during this week or this day. And a lot of
people are saying because you know, it's not too close
(52:30):
to the holidays, So.
Speaker 1 (52:32):
I disagree with that. This is way too close to.
Speaker 3 (52:37):
Are in place.
Speaker 6 (52:38):
I'm confused. And when we were talking about that this morning,
and it made me look up something. Okay, this kind
of tears apart. Cuffing season. Yeah, cuffing season is the
end of October, just before Valentine's Day, because you don't
want to be alone for the holidays.
Speaker 5 (52:54):
Yes, but in the study, they said that conversations around
Christmas can make over all relationship feel more serious than.
Speaker 3 (53:01):
What you actually wanted to.
Speaker 5 (53:04):
So it's like, yeah, we've been dating for a while,
but you like talking about eating families.
Speaker 6 (53:08):
See, I think in cuffing, I think one person knows
is cuffing.
Speaker 4 (53:12):
The other doesn't. Oh, so now I.
Speaker 1 (53:13):
Think they both do make sense to that. Yeah, that's
why it works because look, we both need It's like
a symbiotic relationship. We both need each other just to
get through this season. In this case, one person wants
to be more serious, every other one doesn't. That's why
I just disagree that it's it's not too close to
the holidays. You've already made your your plan. If you're
going home, you've already bought tickets, you've already planned that.
Speaker 6 (53:37):
Being in a relationship, I'm I've had to panic because
I know I got to get gifts in. Yes, if
you're in a relationship, everybody't like me, I'll procrastinated. You've
already bought some gifts, yes, that person. That's why to me.
This data is like, I mean, the stats are the stats.
Speaker 1 (53:56):
I just believe that you guys are making yourself feel
better by saying, oh, it's not too close to the holiday.
That's absolutely too close to the holiday.
Speaker 5 (54:02):
But I feel like you already Thanksgiving under your belt.
That's a big family holiday too. So what they're saying
is that you wouldn't have to bother with the family,
the awkward family introductions, or especially with newer relationships, you
could skip buying them presents.
Speaker 6 (54:17):
And see, I learned today that I thought cuffing was
one sided. But I'm reading this too. And Brianna ay
right said, as often as a temporary arrangement we can
turn into something more serious. So if this is right,
then one person is like, you know you got past Thanksgiving. Yeah,
but that was really right. My family really likes you, man,
I can see this right. I gotta pump the brakes
on this.
Speaker 1 (54:36):
Yeah, so you just ruined compassas I got to get
up there halfway through to just be single the rest
of it.
Speaker 3 (54:41):
That's really the only explanation.
Speaker 5 (54:42):
You're talking about Christmas and doing all these things together,
and that makes it feel more serious.
Speaker 3 (54:46):
And so today's breakup.
Speaker 1 (54:47):
Day or if you're in a long term one and
it's been a little bit ugly, you're like, you know what,
let me do this before we get to the holidays.
Speaker 6 (54:52):
I'm already tired of this. So you think it's something
that happened Thanksgiving. It's like, you know what, enough is enough?
Speaker 1 (54:57):
Maybe, or you didn't do the family thing for Thanksgiving,
so you're doing it for Christmas. I don't know. I
just you're close. You're to me, You're two weeks out.
You're close being someone who's dated a few people. I
had enough, gud. I'm gonna make it through the holiday.
You know what I'm saying. I'm not gonna mess your
holiday up.
Speaker 3 (55:14):
I'll do it like you come home with me to
be with my family.
Speaker 6 (55:18):
I would and do the whole dance, knowing I ain't
gonna ever see the people again.
Speaker 1 (55:22):
I guess it depends on how old I am, because
you know, the older you get. Oh, you don't care.
I only got a handful of Christmas Is left, man,
my god, I'm not waste someone on you. I'm only
I only got about twenty five Christmas is left under
my belt. If everything works out, think.
Speaker 6 (55:37):
About it, Think about this. The ray you've gotten to
the point. If you're gonna break up on this day,
I don't care. I've had enough. I don't care about gifts.
I don't care what your family thinks about me. I
don't care what you felt about me. I've had enough.
I want out right. If you're gonna do it on
this day, you're done. It's no right because think about it.
If you break up on this day, you're not getting
(55:58):
back together. No, you messed up Christmas. You've messed up
my New Year.
Speaker 4 (56:05):
Now is over.
Speaker 1 (56:06):
My whole Christmas crew. Gonna ask me where your man
at because he was supposed.
Speaker 4 (56:10):
To be with you?
Speaker 6 (56:11):
Oh yeah, oh yeah, I had to work right. I
knew something was off Thanksgiving, but I ain't say nothing.
Speaker 4 (56:18):
Wow.
Speaker 6 (56:19):
I want to find out if this is true or not.
Do you find yourself or have you ever broken up
on this date?
Speaker 5 (56:27):
They say that this Yeah, they change a relationship status.
Speaker 6 (56:33):
Is this true that you've broken up with someone around
this time? Think about it, because this is the day
and this is again it's going by stats that people
break up because they've had enough.
Speaker 4 (56:44):
Are you one to have breaken up? I won't even
say this day.
Speaker 6 (56:47):
Around this day, I'll say between Thanksgiving and Christmas, I'll
give you that much. Have you broken up with someone?
Tell us why, because I'm just trying to I would
have again, I look now wouldn't. But when I was younger,
when I was dating out there, I'd have sucked it
up because I ain't trying to mess up nobody's Christmas.
And even after I hoog you on New Year, I'm like,
there's none who you're gonna be hanging out with you? Yeah,
(57:09):
i'd have done that.
Speaker 1 (57:10):
Four oh seven now one nine one o six seven
eight seven seven now one nine one o six seven
x el mobile four one o six seven live stream,
social media.
Speaker 6 (57:17):
We want to hear your comments too. It is National
breakdown in Sunny day? Is National breakup Day? Is the
eleventh statistically speaking, that's when a lot of people on
social media change their their status to single and all
these things. So I just want to find out, so
close to Christmas, is this true? Do you find this happening?
Has it happened to you? Can you explain what's going on?
David David, Good morning, Good morning, Good morning, David. You
(57:39):
can explain why today is National breakup Day? Well, have
you happened? Has it happened.
Speaker 14 (57:43):
Yeah, Yes, I have been through it. I broke up
with somebody, And I would say, I think the reason
why it happens, and this is the time of year,
is because once you go through let's say, for example, uh, Thanksgiving, Well,
you're going to each other's usually family meetings, family and
then you start thinking, you start picturing yourself with this
(58:03):
person the rest of your life. How is their family,
how is you know, your family reactions with them? And
then that thought process is going into the holidays, and
then you start to thinking, you know, Christmas is right
around the corner, and like, do I really want to
be with this person? Look, they don't get along with
my family, or my family hates this person.
Speaker 6 (58:22):
But but but David, it's a lot to do with it, David,
didn't you but you had some feeling somewhere for this
person if they met your family.
Speaker 4 (58:28):
You couldn't just wait it out, you know what I'm saying.
Speaker 14 (58:31):
No, I mean you could, but like sometimes it's like,
are you doing it for them or are you doing
it for yourself?
Speaker 7 (58:37):
Oh?
Speaker 4 (58:37):
You're doing it for them, Absolutely, You ain't doing it
for yourself. You've been gone on it.
Speaker 14 (58:41):
Yeah, And I feel like and you know, so I
feel like that's that's that's a big key part of it.
Speaker 6 (58:45):
Okay, okay, it makes sense. All right, Well thank you
explaining that, David.
Speaker 14 (58:51):
All Right, thank you?
Speaker 4 (58:52):
Uh huh, all right, and Ali, Ali, good morning?
Speaker 13 (58:55):
Yeah, hey, good morning.
Speaker 4 (58:56):
And Ali, you.
Speaker 6 (58:57):
Can explain why people break up on December eleventh, right
before two weeks.
Speaker 13 (59:02):
Yeah, I mean I asked my ex husband for a
divorce on December ninth last.
Speaker 4 (59:06):
Year, and it was why, Okay, but why why that date?
What was it? Thanksgiving? Was enough or just the stress
of the holidays?
Speaker 15 (59:14):
I just had enough.
Speaker 13 (59:14):
It wasn't the stress of the holidays. I mean, we
were married for nine years and like things were happening,
and I just couldn't imagine going through another holiday like
with him. And then I got to celebrate you know,
I'm Jewish, so Hankah. And then New Year's without him,
and it was like the best New Year's.
Speaker 4 (59:29):
So you really had eight crazy nights.
Speaker 6 (59:31):
Yeah, yeah, so Thanksgiving with Thanksgiving wasn't a deal breakup,
But you just got to the point and said, I
cannot see myself spending another day with this individual.
Speaker 13 (59:44):
Well yeah, but I also I broke up with him
during a couple therapy session. So the couples therapy session
was on to deb.
Speaker 4 (59:51):
And so did he see it coming or no?
Speaker 13 (59:54):
He said he was blindsided to some of our friends,
but if you look back, it was very clear.
Speaker 18 (59:59):
That he was not.
Speaker 4 (01:00:00):
And this is another question.
Speaker 6 (01:00:02):
Uh, if you break up doing a couple of therapist sessions,
do you get your money back?
Speaker 1 (01:00:07):
Now I resolved your problem.
Speaker 3 (01:00:09):
I have so many questions.
Speaker 1 (01:00:11):
If anything, you owe me more money?
Speaker 5 (01:00:12):
Yeah, just like the therapist, how has that like ever
happened before?
Speaker 3 (01:00:19):
Is that very common where it's just like you break.
Speaker 4 (01:00:21):
Up right there?
Speaker 18 (01:00:23):
Well?
Speaker 13 (01:00:23):
Yeah, I was like, I'm done. I want a divorce.
I can't do this anymore.
Speaker 6 (01:00:28):
And what does the therapist say at this point? Now,
hold on, let's let's sit back and take a deep break.
Speaker 13 (01:00:32):
Therapist is like, do you guys want to come back
to talk about like how you.
Speaker 9 (01:00:37):
Want to divorce?
Speaker 3 (01:00:40):
You know what I'm saying, Like, does she try to
resolve it?
Speaker 1 (01:00:44):
As the divorce e. I'm not going to agree to
pay to come back to tell you how I feel
about a divorce that you didn't help stop. That's like
if I go take my cardo mechanic and then it
breaks down and then mechanic says, you want to come
back and talk about how your breaks didn't work?
Speaker 4 (01:00:59):
Hello?
Speaker 6 (01:01:00):
Now, Ali, Ali, Now, I, unfortunately too, have gone to
UH marriage counseling. At the end of the session, they
give you some stuff to work on. They say, now,
this week, how about this communicate with each other, say
these three things.
Speaker 4 (01:01:12):
They didn't do any of that. You said I want out.
She's like, well, listen, if you want to come back
and talk about it, we can talk about it.
Speaker 15 (01:01:17):
This wasn't the first session.
Speaker 13 (01:01:19):
This is like after many sessions, and like really there
was no change. So like I got I got a
peet for my own sanity.
Speaker 1 (01:01:26):
Yeah yeah, wow, that's true.
Speaker 5 (01:01:29):
Like I need a mediator now for my divorce. I
don't need any therapist fix this.
Speaker 13 (01:01:35):
Right, you can't recommend a mediator.
Speaker 6 (01:01:37):
Okay, God she changed the thing on her destince. Okay,
I noticed as therapist mediator already know y'all, so this
will be easy. Wow. Okay, thank you Ali, thanks for
sharing that.
Speaker 11 (01:01:51):
Thank you.
Speaker 13 (01:01:51):
Happy holidays.
Speaker 4 (01:01:52):
Hey to you too.
Speaker 1 (01:01:54):
Ray.
Speaker 5 (01:01:54):
What they said over there, yeah, I mean the only
person that really commented was just saying that I couldn't
spend another holiday with this person. So it made me realize,
like I'm just doing I'm ending it now.
Speaker 4 (01:02:03):
I mean you, I mean I'm thinking if you do
it here, that it.
Speaker 1 (01:02:07):
Yeah.
Speaker 6 (01:02:08):
Yeah, I don't care what people think. I don't care
what people feel. If I stand in long, I'm gonna
lose my damn mind. I'm out o out be what
they say.
Speaker 1 (01:02:16):
X morble power by Attorney Dan Dow and the Interact.
You need to check. It's a no brainer. Just call
it Attorney Dan new and so one said that just
broke up with their situationship this week. He said, I
wasn't happy I was being mistreated. I said, I'm not
doing the holidays, unhappy not doing it. Wow.
Speaker 4 (01:02:30):
And there's people right now gonna I ain't gonna call
that station.
Speaker 5 (01:02:32):
They're like, damn now, I can't do it today.
Speaker 1 (01:02:36):
Talking about all right, so y'all breaking up? You want
to come back next week and talk about breaking up? Right?
Speaker 4 (01:02:41):
What is your what is your your wedding or your marriage?
Not work?
Speaker 6 (01:02:44):
I have to do it my money though, Bro, you
know what I'm saying. I had y'all on the books
for a whole nother month. Okay, if I'm the hundred,
I'm going Hey, you suck at this.
Speaker 3 (01:02:54):
Oh my gosh.
Speaker 6 (01:02:56):
Pretty Okay, Well, if you're doing this, man, you're not alone.
If you break up in the next couple days, you
are not by yourself. Race Livy News.
Speaker 5 (01:03:05):
We now know the permanent co host for the Today Show.
Speaker 4 (01:03:08):
Let's find out on Johnny's House.
Speaker 2 (01:03:10):
Now, the Johnny's House Entertainment News.
Speaker 5 (01:03:13):
That's raight, all right, So if you don't remember, Hoda
Coffee is leaving the Today Show? Are you family right, Yes,
to be with family. She's been there for a while,
but she is done. Well, Jenna bush Hagar, they just
actually found her a new partner. So it was announced
yesterday that Chanelle Jones is Yeah. So she's the one
(01:03:33):
that's been named as the permanent co host of the
ten am hour for NBC's Today So I guess she
has been with the network since twenty fourteen, so she's
been with Yeah, she's becoming the co host and I
guess she was like the co host for the third
hour of the show in twenty nineteen. But now they
just announced it. Today with Jenna and Chanel will launch
(01:03:55):
on January twelfth.
Speaker 6 (01:03:56):
Okay, congratulations, Joia holidays, kickback and then get ready to
go back.
Speaker 1 (01:04:00):
We're always on, so I don't really see the today.
Speaker 5 (01:04:02):
But yeah, yeah, So TikTok is rolling out a brand
new live podcast series, TikTok TikTok.
Speaker 3 (01:04:10):
Yeah.
Speaker 5 (01:04:10):
So it's called TikTok in the Mix, and it's going
to feature Demi Levado in conversation with host Jack Cone.
So I guess this is going to be like a
new thing that they're doing. But the first guest in
the first series is going to be with Demi Levato.
She's gonna be talking about creating her latest album, how
she stepped into the booth to speak her truth.
Speaker 3 (01:04:31):
And all that stuff.
Speaker 5 (01:04:32):
So there's gonna be four episodes and the season promises
thirty minute live conversations.
Speaker 3 (01:04:38):
Okay, so there you go.
Speaker 4 (01:04:40):
Very good.
Speaker 5 (01:04:41):
For the first time ever the Mass Singer, a contestant
has revealed themselves before the season, even.
Speaker 4 (01:04:48):
They've been so good at keeping out a secret.
Speaker 11 (01:04:50):
I know.
Speaker 5 (01:04:50):
So Season fourteen of The Mass Singer doesn't premiere until
January seventh, But for the first time, like I said,
the identity of one of the contestants, she purposely on
masked herself. So it's Kylie Control from Disney Disney's Descendants.
Speaker 4 (01:05:06):
Why was she doing. She didn't want to be on
the show anymore, so she's.
Speaker 5 (01:05:08):
Not going rogue. She's just like, this is all like
real work up. I think it's just like a new
way to promote the show. Okay, yeah, yeah, to be honest,
you look at.
Speaker 6 (01:05:17):
It all this time, all of a sudden, somebody goes,
let us slip no.
Speaker 5 (01:05:21):
Yeah, so she's going to take viewers behind the scenes
to kind of like see what it's like, and so
that's why they kind of had to promote it. She
was also like throwing off the host Nick Cannon and
the judges because she was just like, they don't really
know that this is happening, that I'm recording this behind
the scenes.
Speaker 6 (01:05:38):
Yeah, that's another way to promote it, Yeah, because you
understand the reason that works is the secrecy. Yes, and
I'm sure did you sign major contracts to say you
got to keep it a secret?
Speaker 4 (01:05:46):
Yeah you know.
Speaker 5 (01:05:47):
So yes, a stage, So Kylie plays Red from the Descendants,
which is like a massive, massive show on Disney Channel,
so you a lot of people are probably gonna be
excited to see her on there.
Speaker 6 (01:05:57):
Okay, all right, we come back, gonna bate you again
on what's trending on Johnny's House fifty seven. It's kind
of going up and down today, so well, I'm going
to get it to about sixty six. All right, what's
trending part too be what's going on? Well, it seems
like the government shut down was so long ago. There's
a little something today related to that. So the Senate's
going to vote today on two proposals designed to help
Americans pay for their healthcare. It's the Affordable Care Act
(01:06:17):
and the subsidies they're set to expire at the end
of the year, which is one of the big things
they were arguing about when the government shutdown happened. So
there's a proposal that would replace the expiring ACA subsidiarias
with direct payments to individuals versus insurance companies, because that's
been one of the big sticking points his insurance companies
have gotten crazy rich over the last ten years. There's
another proposal that would extend what we currently have for
(01:06:39):
three years.
Speaker 1 (01:06:40):
They're going to vote on that today. Neither is expected
to pass, so well, they got to show the people
we're doing something. We might find ourselves in the same
situation we were in, but just the heads up that's
what's going on today with the government.
Speaker 6 (01:06:50):
They put these things out there so they know the
other side is not going to agree. So then when
it goes down, they say, well, we tried, and they
tried and they said this. They said that, yeah, yeaheah.
It's one of the big sticking points that the government
to shut down to begin with. And then we still
don't agree on it. So we'll see what happens.
Speaker 1 (01:07:04):
I don't know anyway, if you're looking for a white Christmas,
the Old Farmer's Almanac just drop the states that you
can go to to find a white Christmas. So they
say states across the far north, from Montana to Maine,
they all have the best shot at snow this year,
they said it in New York City probably not gonna
have really much snow. They say it's going to be
pretty mild for Christmas. Oh so when they say mile
(01:07:26):
they probably the fifties. Yeah, I mean, I guess, but
not not snowy on Christmas Day, that's what they're so,
that's what they're talking about. Appalachians in upper Midwest might
catch a little bit of light snow, they said, but
the south Southwest and Pacific Coast are basically snow free
zones as of now. According to the Farmers All.
Speaker 6 (01:07:43):
I think unless you're home and everybody that you love
or they're a white Christmas kind of overrated because it's messy.
Speaker 18 (01:07:50):
Yeah.
Speaker 6 (01:07:51):
If once it gets dark, the street turns the ice
and you're worried about the safety of the people that
came to your house.
Speaker 4 (01:07:56):
Right you.
Speaker 1 (01:07:56):
They're not saying it's not gonna get cold. It's gonna
get cold, and it might be ugly and icy, right business.
Speaker 6 (01:08:01):
But if you're not Christmas, but if you got everybody
under the roof and all your prize and everything, it
can be.
Speaker 5 (01:08:06):
No matter how many times I fly to Rochester to
have a white Christmas, it never happens.
Speaker 9 (01:08:10):
Same.
Speaker 1 (01:08:10):
We've twice gone to try to get to a white
Christmas and we miss it by about two days.
Speaker 6 (01:08:16):
Yeah, and I think white Christmas good for one day
two max. After that is a mess.
Speaker 1 (01:08:20):
Yeah.
Speaker 10 (01:08:21):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (01:08:21):
I don't want to live in it. I just want
to hang out in it for a little while. And
tomorrow might as well be on a magic day.
Speaker 4 (01:08:26):
What is it?
Speaker 1 (01:08:27):
It is the Day of Dozens at Krispy Kreme. It's
December twelfth, so it's twelve twelve. Oh, it's the Day
of Dozens. They're going to sell a dozen of their
original glazed donuts for one dollar with the purchase of
another dozen. So you're gonna get a dozen and then
by another dozen for a dollar. Not doing it, not
doing it, not doing it, not doing it good in
(01:08:47):
store and online, not doing it, not doing it. It's
tomorrow only. You got to use the promo code dozens
if you're to do it online.
Speaker 6 (01:08:53):
But yes, well we had it was a football football
Friday we had and they had that same deal. Yep,
by a dozen, and I had eight dozen delivered to
my house and I didn't touch them. I mean the
smell was just coming through through the kitchen to my nose.
Speaker 4 (01:09:06):
I didn't. I'm not doing it seven and eleven.
Speaker 1 (01:09:10):
I'm not coming with in the next day for sure,
because out eating least I didn't touch them. I did
not know Tomorrow Day of Dozens aka Johnny Magic Day
at Kristy Kreen.
Speaker 4 (01:09:19):
Do you know why I didn't eat it?
Speaker 6 (01:09:20):
Because I just had this vision of you opening one
of them boxes, going, ay, it's doing them. Gone, I
think you're delivery driving. Rod Man said, no, I will
not be put up. I will not put up with that.
It's good to know, y'all.
Speaker 1 (01:09:33):
Well, Tomorrow will be at Universal Yeah, around the resort,
so tomorrow you're safe. Tomorrow there'll be no Krispy Kree
driving distance of you.
Speaker 4 (01:09:40):
I am not doing it. There is. Actually, we're going
to be in the parks. I know where they all are.
Speaker 1 (01:09:46):
I know.
Speaker 4 (01:09:47):
No.
Speaker 1 (01:09:49):
No Day a dozen tomorrow aka Johnny Magic Day.
Speaker 4 (01:09:53):
No.
Speaker 6 (01:09:53):
Maybe I'll get something for the volunteers. No, all right,
all right, listen, we come back and talk about regifting
right now. I know we've talked about it in the past,
but I want to find out what are your rules.
I don't think I've ever done that. I know I've
been regifting some stuff. I won't say any person. Ain't
never work anymore. But they gave me some camels that
were lit. I said, hey, did you regift these?
Speaker 18 (01:10:18):
No?
Speaker 4 (01:10:18):
I didn't.
Speaker 6 (01:10:19):
They've been lit. Don't get me wrong. That's when I
used to love Campbell's. You know I don't mess with
Campbell's now, you know the little situation. Yes, I don't,
But back then, I love Campbel's. I used to have
Campbell's all over the place, But this one was regifted,
and I just thought it was funny because they tried
to play it off as it it wasn't regifted. But
(01:10:39):
I don't. I don't regift. I will put it away.
I have somewhat. I'm a semi hoarder, so I probably
have it, but I don't.
Speaker 4 (01:10:47):
I don't. I don't. I don't regift. I'm not mad
if you do.
Speaker 6 (01:10:50):
If you tell me, hey, hey, I got this and
and I'm not using it, and I thought about you.
I thought it'd be great for you, I got no
problem with that.
Speaker 1 (01:10:58):
That's my rule, because if I'm giving it to you,
I'm gonna tell you, hey, someone got me this and
I don't need it, but you might like it.
Speaker 4 (01:11:03):
Yeah. I think that's that's where I'm.
Speaker 6 (01:11:04):
And I get too. I'm like, okay, that's cool. I
appreciate you thought about me.
Speaker 1 (01:11:08):
It's not used. Like I wouldn't light a candle and
give it to you, because that's just disrespectful.
Speaker 4 (01:11:13):
He's like, I don't like this mail. I would never
do that.
Speaker 5 (01:11:16):
Are you still wrapping it and like presenting it as
a gift?
Speaker 15 (01:11:20):
Now?
Speaker 4 (01:11:20):
I wouldn't do No, you wouldn't, you know?
Speaker 6 (01:11:22):
And that's funny you said that because I'm looking at
that they say these are like twelve no nonsense rule
or regifting and they say rewrapping is mandatory.
Speaker 5 (01:11:30):
Well, I'm saying I feel like it's more like it's
it still has to be considered a gift, you know
what I'm saying, unless you're just like, hey, here's this
coffee mug.
Speaker 6 (01:11:39):
You know it does if I say, you know what,
this ain't me but this is ray, I ain't gonna
wrap it. I'm like, hey, maybe in a bag on
a bag.
Speaker 3 (01:11:49):
That I got, you wouldn't consider that a gift. Really,
that's just a hand me down. That's something that you
didn't want.
Speaker 4 (01:11:54):
That's not a hand me dice. No, I haven't used.
Speaker 3 (01:11:56):
It, or it's just something that you're like, hey, I
don't want this.
Speaker 6 (01:11:59):
No.
Speaker 5 (01:12:00):
I feel like if it's not wrapped, or if it's
not presented as a gift, okay, okay.
Speaker 6 (01:12:05):
Giving me something somebody somebody gave you at let's say
one of your party that I'll never meet anybody, and
they gave you a polo hat, yes, and shirt and
you don't wear polo like that?
Speaker 4 (01:12:16):
Would you give it to me?
Speaker 5 (01:12:17):
I would give it to you, but I would put
it in a bag and say this is for you
whence you opened it and you're like, oh, thank you
so much, and I'd be like, you know what, somebody
gave it to me, and obviously I just feel like
presenting it as a gift because I thought of you,
and not like a.
Speaker 6 (01:12:34):
Gift though I don't want this you gifted me that
I would. I wouldn't even tell I would take it
that that is so cool? You know I like Polo
and you thought of me, I would I would think
that was.
Speaker 5 (01:12:46):
There's no sentimental sentimental value behind I don't want this
hat because it's Polo. I know you like Polo, and
I just hand it to you.
Speaker 4 (01:12:56):
Uh not.
Speaker 1 (01:12:57):
I just feel like the other way, you're trying to deceive, Like,
look this gift.
Speaker 3 (01:13:00):
I got, you know what, I'm still going to tell
you and then.
Speaker 1 (01:13:02):
There's no need to go through the trouble of wrapping.
Speaker 6 (01:13:05):
They said, uh no, not so regifting ideas anything monogram
what because I've got my insues on it. Why you
want to anything signed, anything that's been opened? Uh something
dated like a GPS navigation system or iPod.
Speaker 4 (01:13:22):
Now this one.
Speaker 6 (01:13:23):
No one's gonna do this. But they put it on
there used on the garments that's just nasty.
Speaker 1 (01:13:29):
That that's that's not regifting. That's like some freaky that's
only fans.
Speaker 10 (01:13:36):
Wow.
Speaker 6 (01:13:36):
All right, let's say great ideas, household items, unused bath products, uneating,
unopened gomete food candles, but check to make sure you're
regifting them, not that they're not allergic to the scent.
Speaker 4 (01:13:50):
Gift cards, that's.
Speaker 17 (01:13:52):
I mean, I've gifted gift card. Yeah, use any of
it first, like that, Like that's regifting to me. If
I if I get a gift card to a place
I know you like, yeah, yeah, I won't go to
Hey check this out.
Speaker 1 (01:14:04):
Here's a gift card that you could use.
Speaker 6 (01:14:06):
Yes, okay, uh, novelty or gag gifts on open board
games and puzzles, inexpensive jewelry. They said, those are okay,
great ideas to regift something, all right, So I want
to find out from you what is your what is
your idea or what is your your thing when it
comes to regifting? Uh four O seven now one nine
one O six seven eight seven seven now one nine
(01:14:27):
one O six seven got a period tickets at Universal
Orlando Resorts, and you're Christmas In the Wizarding World of
Harry Potter across three spectacular theme parks, Universal's Holiday Parade

(01:14:48):
be honest. What are your what are your views on regifting?
Four O seven now one nine one O six seven
eight seven seven nine one nine.
Speaker 4 (01:14:55):
One O six seven call us on Johnny's house. You
don't know.
Speaker 6 (01:14:58):
It's like, Hey, if I get a chance, I don't
want it, I give it away. Do you count it
as a gift from you? Or are you telling this
your gifted? Got a pair of takes? Universal Orlando Resort.
We'll be broadcasting live from there tomorrow. Let's go to
Leesburg and talk to Jose. Jose, what's happening?
Speaker 5 (01:15:09):
Man?
Speaker 4 (01:15:11):
What's up?
Speaker 13 (01:15:11):
Johnny?
Speaker 4 (01:15:12):
All right?
Speaker 6 (01:15:12):
Man?
Speaker 4 (01:15:12):
So regifted? What do you think I mean?
Speaker 7 (01:15:15):
I feel like a gift is a gift. It shouldn't
really matter where it comes from. I personally have had
something regifted to me and I've also regifted before. When
someone tells me that they regifted, I'm kind of just like,
it doesn't really matter to me because the idea that
you just thought enough of me to want to give
me a gift, it's kind.
Speaker 16 (01:15:32):
Of like cool.
Speaker 4 (01:15:33):
Yeah, yeah, I'm kind of Now.
Speaker 6 (01:15:35):
The issue we have is should it be just say here,
take this or the presentation has a lot.
Speaker 4 (01:15:40):
To do with it.
Speaker 7 (01:15:41):
I mean, honestly, it's gonna matter on circumstance and finances.
I'd imagine some people got it to where they could
wrap it up like, you know, Ray got money, she got.
Speaker 1 (01:15:51):
Y, She got that Ray money speculation. That's what rich
people do. They fancy before they hold on. We haven't checked,
we haven't checked raised net Worth checked her networks in
a while.
Speaker 3 (01:16:01):
Yeah, rich people, it's so fake.
Speaker 1 (01:16:03):
Rich people regift their their stuff with a fancy rapping
on it.
Speaker 7 (01:16:06):
Oh yeah, I think I think Ray just cares more
so she wants it to present Yeah, Ray just cares
more so. She wants it to look like you know,
she she really thought of you. I mean, I also
shopped at like discount store, So if I found you
a twenty dollars polo that retails for seventy dollars, Johnny.
I mean, I'm sure you're gonna take it.
Speaker 18 (01:16:23):
You ain't gonna know.
Speaker 7 (01:16:25):
I wonder if he got this after TJ Max or
the Marshalls.
Speaker 4 (01:16:27):
Or if he got it after.
Speaker 13 (01:16:28):
Rolph Laurence Store.
Speaker 4 (01:16:29):
So I mean, I feel like.
Speaker 7 (01:16:30):
Just thinking about someone in the gift giving is the
main thing that's gonna get you to to get that
good feeling. I mean, everybody likes to receive stuff, but
there's something about giving someone a gift with them in mind. Yeah,
you know That's what I meant. Even though somebody gave
it to you, you thought I would like that. Yeah,
So that's why I think like you'd be like, oh
that was cool that, you know, Jose or Ray or
whoever thought about me enough.
Speaker 4 (01:16:50):
To do like that.
Speaker 16 (01:16:51):
But I totally understand.
Speaker 6 (01:16:53):
I'm still looking up raising net word here because the
first one was a little office said you was And
see now there's an Addison rates for twenty five maybe.
But I think she's right.
Speaker 1 (01:17:05):
Yeah, that's a different way.
Speaker 3 (01:17:06):
She's like a TikToker superstar.
Speaker 1 (01:17:08):
She really is worth money.
Speaker 6 (01:17:09):
Okay, all right, all right, and thanks man, I'll find
out what raised networth is.
Speaker 1 (01:17:14):
Thanks.
Speaker 4 (01:17:14):
They hold on a second.
Speaker 7 (01:17:15):
Hold.
Speaker 3 (01:17:15):
If they got the message to shut it down.
Speaker 6 (01:17:17):
They might have done that. GBT do. Look, we don't
play them little games. Barbie, good morning, Good morning. I regifted.
What are you thinking?
Speaker 15 (01:17:27):
I'm it's the thought that counts. I love to give. Yeah,
I love to give gifts all year long, but just
an emphasis at christ Christmas time. I like to buy
things that I think are cool and I like so
I especially with my younger nieces and nephews. All they
have to say is that they like it, and I'm like,
it's yours. They're like really yeah. So, even especially now
during the holidays, if we're trying to present something that's
(01:17:47):
not for them, I would present it in a form
of like wrapping it or something, and I'm like, yeah,
I got that from me a while ago, and I
just knew that you're gonna love it, so I want
you to have it instead. Well, and they love that
sort of thing.
Speaker 4 (01:17:58):
Well, I just want to bring this your attention, like
a red lambeau. I like that.
Speaker 15 (01:18:03):
I don't gonna get me one driving around the block
a couple of times and then it's all yours.
Speaker 4 (01:18:07):
Okay, we'll go ahead and do that. If you can
do it.
Speaker 6 (01:18:09):
If you do it for a Christmas, I appreciate it.
I hold on a second for mo Vito Sam Sam,
good morning, good morning.
Speaker 12 (01:18:16):
How are you?
Speaker 4 (01:18:17):
I understand you are a regifter, that's what you do.
Speaker 10 (01:18:21):
Oh yeah, I'm a regifter.
Speaker 12 (01:18:22):
So I actually have a whole cabinet under our guest
bathroom of different things to regifts. And I think that
I'm still gonna like put thought into grabbing Sam Sam.
Speaker 4 (01:18:42):
Do you like any gifts that people give you?
Speaker 6 (01:18:44):
Because it sounds to me like people give you a gift,
you stick it up under the bathroom cabinet.
Speaker 12 (01:18:48):
No.
Speaker 10 (01:18:49):
No, I'm super appreciative of all the gifts that I get.
You know, it's the thought that counts to me. But sometimes,
like especially when I'm getting like little fast stuff, there's.
Speaker 19 (01:18:58):
Sense like then that I just don't like. Other I'll
save it in there. Are you next holiday or the birthday?
Speaker 6 (01:19:06):
Are you a very popular person? Because the regift that
I have is probably one or two albums items. I
don't have under the cabinet full of those things and.
Speaker 4 (01:19:14):
You have it.
Speaker 10 (01:19:15):
I mean, I'm not a popular person. I got lots
of family.
Speaker 3 (01:19:20):
Yeah, my friends like that.
Speaker 5 (01:19:23):
She's got like a closet full of products gift.
Speaker 9 (01:19:28):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (01:19:28):
I've seen people do that too.
Speaker 19 (01:19:30):
Even from like baby items from our baby showers. Like
my son's closet has a whole section of.
Speaker 10 (01:19:36):
Clothing and things that have tags on them.
Speaker 19 (01:19:40):
And I'm like, oh, well, next baby shower, I'm going
to bring extra. I still package it.
Speaker 1 (01:19:45):
No matter what.
Speaker 16 (01:19:46):
I actually also have a toe under my bed of bags.
Speaker 19 (01:19:50):
That I get, so I just take another thing and
buy more.
Speaker 6 (01:19:54):
Bags of another thing that I've learned through this conversation.
You are very organized. I could tell, extremely organized.
Speaker 13 (01:20:01):
A little bit of a no I can tell.
Speaker 6 (01:20:03):
I could tell I gotta bend under the bed, the
kids gotta separate.
Speaker 4 (01:20:06):
I'm like, she's very organized. Be what it's saying over there, man.
Speaker 1 (01:20:08):
Let's see XMO Power by Attorney Dan Newland Interrect need
to check. Its a no brainer, just call attorney Dan
nel And. Someone said, I don't regift because I will
forget who gave it to me, the same person. I
got to keep a spreadsheet if you're a regifter.
Speaker 6 (01:20:21):
For sure, And I bet Sam. Oh, hold on, man,
that's good, Hey Sam, Sam.
Speaker 4 (01:20:25):
Do you have a spreadsheet on who gave you what?
Speaker 7 (01:20:29):
Oh?
Speaker 1 (01:20:29):
Mentally, she knows, so you rolling the dice.
Speaker 6 (01:20:32):
She knows Jose first one in Paria Tickets Universal Orlando
Resorts is nine forty before we get Before we leave,
we're gonna help somebody who's helping out our Baby DJ program.
We can assist families in our community. We got someone
doing something special. Clarissa, good morning.
Speaker 16 (01:20:47):

Speaker 6 (01:20:48):

We are in the Harmon Collective, which is in the
old Bombardi building in winter Park.
Speaker 13 (01:21:02):

lot of cool things going on in the building, but
All inclusive CrossFit, which is a big part of what
we're doing in the building.
Speaker 13 (01:21:17):
We're hosting the.
Speaker 16 (01:21:19):
Toy drive in our building. We're excited to be part
of Baby D Day. I remember it from when I
was growing up and it's just really exciting to be
part of it now and to be able to be included,
so we're we're really excited.
Speaker 6 (01:21:32):
Okay, so how does it work? I mean, are you
doing in a vano? You's telling people your drop off
location and they can drop off toys and that kind
of thing.
Speaker 16 (01:21:39):
Yeah, so we spread it across our social media. We've
told all our members. We also have a black fin
a pop up coffee shop inside of our building, so
a lot of traffic in and out with the coffee
shop as well. We have a Christmas tree set up
in our lobby and our seating area, and we have
signs all over and people are shipping things to our building.
(01:22:00):
They are delivering presence and we're just have them all
stacked up under the tree. And it's just a really
nice reminder that you can a small act can make
a big impact.
Speaker 4 (01:22:09):
Well, I'm glad.
Speaker 6 (01:22:10):
Did you know you listen to the show for years
and you know what we're what we're doing, and you
know what we're trying to do is help our community.
And you set it up, the box and all that stuff,
tell everybody the name of the place and where it is. Again,
if you're in the area and you have toys you
want to drop off, the doors are open for you
to drop them off.
Speaker 4 (01:22:24):
What's the name of it again, Colarsa.
Speaker 16 (01:22:26):
Yes, we are all inclusive Cross Bit inside the Harmon Collective.
It's eleven fifty two Harmon Avenue. We're in the old
Bombardi building and we're excited to meet anybody that comes in.
If you want to tour the building, we'll welcome to
do that, or if you just want to sneak in
like Santa and drop it under the tree, we appreciate
that too.
Speaker 6 (01:22:43):
Really, so, how many Cross for the Fit classes do
you do a day? Like one hundred?
Speaker 16 (01:22:49):
We do a lot, so I get to warm up
the class every day, multiple times to day, so I
definitely get my exercise in. But yeah, we have multiple classes.
We have three classes each day and we operate Monday
through Saturday, so and then the coffee shop is open
every day of the week.
Speaker 6 (01:23:07):
