the John Moris Services Studios. Hey, good morning, five am is our
time now Houston's Morning News. I'mJimmy Barrett along with Sheriff Fryar. Among
our top stories. As we getstarted this morning, Trump is stuck in

(00:25):
New York while the Supreme Court here'shis presidential amenity case. An amazing number
of us would be willing to commitvoter fraud. In coming up at five
oh eight, this scientist claims thatthe matrix is real. Details in the
minutes ahead. You're in Houston's MorningNews. First, we're checking out that
morning drive here. Sky Mine justdodged a bullet. All right, let's
check out your downtown area. Igot something that's skipping up. It looks

(00:49):
like some kind of roadwork. It'sjust a ramp Katie Freeway, the r
ramp on the inbound forty five. No, they've cleared that up. We're
all good to go. So far. We've got a little pittle squad stall
on six ten north West Bald. But guess where it's at it's at the
squeeze. That's a really bad spot. Let's watch over from Irvington Skymike and
your Generator Supercenter, dot Com trafficCenter from our KTRH top tax defenders twenty

(01:11):
four hour weather center. Overcast todaywith high temperature right about eighty two.
We'll get Terry in here for theWeather Channel with a complete forecast in about
nine minutes, right now sixty sevenat your official severe weather station, News
Radio seven forty k TRH. Itis time now for the news. Here's
Sheriff Fryar and good morning everyone. Is now five oh one on news radio
seven forty kg RATION. Our topstory this hour. Case is grossly unfair

(01:34):
and that's going to come as asurprise to a lot of people, But
I strongly believe that that is theformer attorney for Stormy Daniels, Michael Avanatti,
talking to kg R Hesshohn Hannity fromprison with the Manhattan Show trial resuming
this morning. The politicization of thesecases, and this case in particular,

(01:55):
is gross, it's uncalled for,and it's flat out wrong. Yeah,
haven't had a word yet a rulingon the gag order that was placed on
Trump in this case. The prosecutionclaims that Trump has violated it. Meantime,
the US Supreme Court hearing arguments todayon presidential immunity, which would impact
the other witch hunts against Trump,as well as future potential charges against other

(02:19):
presidents past and future. It coulddetermine whether Trump faces a federal trial this
year on four felony accounts. Adecision from the Court could come any time
before the end of June, andif the Justice is ruled that Trump is
immune, well you might not expectto trial to happen at all. Fox
is Kevin Cork There. Trump continuingto lead Joe Biden in most polls,

(02:42):
but Jay Valentine with Omega for Americasays Democrats have a new scheme to get
votes in a number of the states. What the Lessons are doing is they're
putting on abortion measures on a ballotso that people will be driven for a
type of strategy. Just one partof their plan, though, well winning

(03:04):
strategy is the same strategy they hadin twenty twenty, which is they're going
to cheat like crazy. They're goingto use mail in ballots. They're pretty
comfortable and they actually should be addingthey've already started registering illegal aliens by the
way to vote in Michigan and Wisconsinnot in person, but on ballots with
ballots. US Supreme Court has dismissedan attempt by three individuals semess with Texas

(03:30):
voter integrity. High Court refused theattempt to override our law that limits voting
by mail absentee voting. You know, the Democrats scheme was to bring universal
vote by mail to the lone Starstate. Would you be surprised by how
many Americans would be willing to cheatin elections? It's shocking, really.
Rasmusen Reports says twenty eight percent ofvoters will be willing to commit voter fraud

(03:53):
to help their preferred candidate. FormerTexas GOP chair Steve Monastery says voter fraud
is as old as a LANs.There was evidence of fraudulent activity here in
Texas during the LBJA era. Therewas problems in Illinois with the daily machine.
So it's not a question of whetheryou will get people to cheat.
The question is whether you will preventpeople from cheating. Solutions are things like

(04:15):
voter ID and limiting mail in ballots, which Texas has done. I believe
the state that Texas has led thenation on trying to make our elections more
secure. The poll found one inten would even pay another voter Coryolson,
who's radio seven forty KTRH. Listenup to this one Jimmy campaigning. Joe
Biden loses yet another battle with theteleprompter. Imagine what we can do next

(04:39):
four more years pause pause. Itwas a written instruction on the teleprompter from
his handler, four more years pausepause. Five. Fuck, he'll eat,
He'll read anything. Large group ofanti Israel rioters trying to take over

(05:06):
parts of the UT Austin campus yesterday. DPS troopers were called in thirty four
people arrested. On ex Governor GregAbbott said that antisemitic protesters would be expelled
from Texas public universities or should beexpelled from Texas public universities. Protests did
continue at schools like Columbia, Yale, Harvard, and even here. We've

(05:28):
had them at Rice and uh.Harvard's application numbers are down by five percent
this year. Colleges in the Southhave seen their numbers rise by forty two
percent, according to Common app.New concerns about Russia and Vetota un resolution
against an arms race in space aresolution proposed by the US and Japan.
A Russian hack, they say it, that's what it was of a Texas

(05:50):
town's water system resulted in thousands ofgallons of water being spilled. So how
do we keep infrastructures safe? Havingpeople aware and really understand where there are,
how much they use technology in anygiven organization, and have the ability
to understand what that risk means, and then take proper precautions as well as

(06:11):
investment to be able to defend againstthat technology risk. Cybersecurity expert David Malacote
there, he told KGRH, mostAmericans shouldn't be concerned about their town or
their municipal water supply, but it'sa good idea to be prepared any thing
with things like drinking water supplies.President Biden's war on the rich continuing now

(06:33):
a proposal to increase the top capitalgains tax rate to forty four point six
percent remember when it was ten percent. It would be the highest in a
century here, and combined with federaland state capital gains rates, could exceed
fifty percent in just capital gains taxesin several states, including New York and

(06:56):
California. Who's going to want tobuy stocks and sell this. The White
House's rationale is that the Trump taxcuts have been unfair. The twenty seventeen
tax bill was something that was foryou know, billionaires and corporations, and
that's not what he's for. Thefact check, ninety one percent of Americans

(07:16):
did benefit from the Trump tax cutsand still do. They don't expire until
twenty twenty five. Foreign holdings, meantime, of US treasuries at a record
high now after rising for a fifthstraight month. In other words, the
Treasury's borrowed so much money with notenough people to lend it, so they're
having to go to foreigners, andthe only way to entice foreigners to buy

(07:39):
more debt is to offer higher yield. Economist DJ and Tony says, Japan's
buying many of them, and theinterest we're paying on the debt is spiraling
us into more issues. More ofwhat we pay in taxes is having to
go to pay interest on the debt, and increasingly it's forigners because they're the
only ones who have any money leftto buy the debt. He says,
we've worked ourselves into an unsustainable position. Onorey Ferrard News Radio seven forty ktrh.

(08:05):
Astro's loss to the Cubs four tothree, a fourth straight loss.
Pre game for tonight's series finale beginsat noon on Sports Talk seven ninety.
Today's rally finale first pitch will beat one twenty again on Sports Talk seven
ninety. I'm sureref Ryer on newsRadio seven forty ktrh. You are twenty
twenty four election headquarters, spide putsChina first, Mexico first, Ukraine first

(08:31):
used Radio seven forty k trh.Alright, sare do you want the red
pill or the blue pill? Youknow, I was just thinking, yes,
sirday red pills, black pills, blue pills. I'm starting to get
them all confused in my mind becauseit's becomes part of popular lexicon. Now,
oh, it is absolutely and evidentlyperhaps the lexicon is real. We

(08:56):
have a scientist who thinks that hehas evidence that the universe is really a
simulation that you know, this isthis is this is like a computer program
that we're going through here, Inwhich case, if that's true, they
humbly say, could we reprogram thisdamn thing? Could we? Because the
program, the program needs some adjustments. There's glitches in the program is what

(09:22):
I'm I would tell you what isthe programmer? Is the question I have?
Well, yeah, well that's whereyou can get back into whether you
believe in a higher power or Godor whatever it is that you believe in.
This guy's name is He is aPortsmouth scientist. His name is Melvin
Wopson Leaves. He has evidence thatwe are living again in the simulation.
I would share with you the evidence, but I got a headache just reading

(09:46):
the story because it's all about thermodynamicsand a lot of things I never bothered
to study when I was in school. So if we have time later,
I may try to cherry pick someof the theories behind what he What he
is saying here, but he's he'ssaying the universe in a nutshell. He's
saying the universe behaves in a waythat does not make sense from a standpoint

(10:09):
of entrophy. If you know whatentropy is, it doesn't make sense the
universe is expanding without the addition, without additional heating in order to cause it
to expand. Therefore, he believesthat's at least part of the evidence that
this is just a simulation that continuesto be added on too or just what

(10:30):
we know about thermodynamics so far,we don't know enough. That's part of
it too. Yeah, it's complicatedstuff. I don't know how you even
begin to prove something like that ifit were true in any way shape,
if went to high school with aguy he was brilliant and he sort of
positive this very thing and matrix beforewe even knew what matrix was. How
many this guy was brilliant? Howmany times in life has art imitated life

(10:56):
before before the life event actually happened? This high school kid, you know,
expanding on the on the school busabout Well, so we're all looking
at him like, George, you'rea little strange. Well, you know,
there's a thin line between brilliance andI know and insanity. And it
made you wonder he does five toeleven dive for traffic and whether it's it

(11:18):
go Interfehuh, I'll make you.I'm gonna make you look that one up.
No, actually, I'll get thedefinition for you in a few minutes.
Yies that Terry deals with interfing.Yeah, he's controlling us all.
They're watching us right now up inTomball Grand Parkway, inside the golf ball
They are controlling us. Terry, let's look over this way. We're going
from Tomball. If you're somebody's butlerand you're going in, you're good to

(11:41):
go from New Caney around and theneastbound. We look good passing up the
golf Ball, I skim up down. I know they're doing stuff. The
odd ramp to the Woodlands forty fivelooks good. And the ramp to downtown
from the Grand Parkway, We're lookinggood. This is a good time to
be a big shot this morning.North Freeway rocking along. We're twenty four
minutes from Sawdust in and eur easedtexts coming down from the sticks, New

(12:03):
Canye. We're now thirty one minutesin Skymike, it's your Generator, Supercenter,
dot Com, Traffic Center, proBall r Katie rh top tax Defenders
twenty four hour with the Center.Terry Smith is with us. If you
could, if you could program theweather, that would be a great thing.
Would it not good? Rain wheneverwe need it, sunshine whenever we
want it. I would be inpig heaven if I could program It'd be

(12:24):
a very wealthy woman when you andprobably very wealthy. Yes, indeed,
but unfortunately mother nature has left ourown devices and I just sit and watch
what's happening and say, hmmm,so what's been happening around here hasn't changed
a lot. At least it's notgoing to change much today or tomorrow.
Still plenty of clouds, it's warm, it's a little bit muggy. We

(12:46):
don't have any rain today. Loadto mid eighties. Twenty percent chance of
a thundershower tomorrow, so most ofus are dry, and load of mid
eighties tomorrow. Saturday right now dry. It gets even warmer mid to upper
eighties. The change happens Sunday andMonday. There's a col front that's getting
closer, and so we have afifty percent chance of showers and thunderstorms both

(13:09):
days early next week. Right nowsixty seven Here at your official severe weather
station, News Radio seven forty kTRH. It's Houston's Morning News, brought
to you by New South Windows Solutions. Now back to Jimmy and Sherah with
the info you need to take onthe day. All right, Well,
the protesting seems to be spreading.I mean by spreading, I don't mean

(13:33):
large numbers of people protesting on theircollege campuses. I just mean spreading to
more campuses but yesterday House Speaker MikeJohnson and several New York lawmakers went to
Columbia to speak on campus right tothe protesters. I have some audio to
share with you coming up next, first to five forty. Let's do a
little traffic and weather together as wecheck out the drive once again. Here's
sky Mike. You know, Idon't talk about the South Belt enough.

(13:54):
Sometimes we'll have something happen on theSouth Belt. I'll see it on the
screen. I'll kind of poop poopit because we rarely have a big problem
there Macawa. This is an accidentand it is minor. This is eastbound
South Belt at Macawa, which isfun to say. It's in the frontage
road. I don't like the wayit's blocking the whole frontage there, even
though you could get by it onthe mainlines. There'll be just a tinge

(14:15):
of reverdecking. But I don't thinkanything good's happening there. We'll keep an
eye on it, Skymike on theGenerator Supercenter dot Com traffic Center from r
KTRH top tax Defenders, twenty fourhour weather Center. Overcast today with a
high eighty two than tomorrow. CLOUDIstray shower store im possible high eighty three.
Weekend looks pretty good. Partly cloudy, some gusty winds though in the
afternoon on Saturday. Scattered morning stormsbecoming more widespread in the afternoon on Sunday.

(14:39):
Right now, temperature is let medouble check this for you. Temperature
is currently sixty seven at your officialsSevere weather station. News Radio seven forty
KTRH. Get you caught up onsome of our top stories this morning.
Here's share. It's five twenty twoon news Radio seven forty KTRH. Our
headlines are sponsored by D and MAuto Leasing. Breaking right now, there's

(15:00):
a rubbers products fire catching fire ata recycling facility. This happened in Northeast
Houston. The FTC bans non competeclauses in employment contracts. The vote was
three to two along party lines. The PGA paid Tiger Woods a one hundred
million dollar loyalty fe for not joiningLive Golf Ladies News anytime kturh dot com.

(15:26):
Our next update will be at thebottom of the hour. Life it's
stop and go vote Just go talkcheap up with our steady flow of updates
to continue onward ride with US Radioseven forty ktrh protesting continuing at Columbia University.

(15:46):
I guess they're just going to leta handful of protesters take over the
entire university, right because now they'resaying that they're not going to the Julish
students can take virtual classes for therest of the year. Yeah, and
they'll shut down for the summer anyway. But there's this. I mean,
they gave them forty eight hours andthen they extended another forty eight hours,
and apparently they've extended it yet again. Oh no, they're not doing what

(16:07):
we asked them to do. Extendit please. They're supposed to remove their
tents. Yeah, could you takedown your tents pretty please? This is
like Occupy Wall Street except and Isuspect it's just the same groups of people.
Probably so the ones who did itthen are old now, so they
just go get some other younger idiots. So maybe they're led by the older
ones. As we talked yesterday,Well, you know they're funded. We

(16:30):
know that they're funded. There's nolack of idiots to pool from. You
know, the organizer funded by nonprofits. YEP speaker Mike Johnson was there speaking
of course. You know you canhear the protesters in the background responding to
what he's saying. Here he istalking to them. We are standing here
right now on the steps of theLow Library, in this very building right
behind US. Columbia University once awardedWinston Churchill in an honorary degree, and

(16:53):
it was Churchill who said, itis manifestly right that Jews should have a
national hall home where they may bereunited. We believe in that principle,
and today I'm here to proclaim toall those who gnash their teeth and demand
to wipe the state of Israel offthe map and attack our innocent Jewish students,

(17:14):
this simple truth. Neither Israel northese Jewish students on this campus will
ever stand alone. Today Hamas issuedan endorsement statement of the protesters on this
campus. They called them the futureleaders of America. It is detestable,
yeah, it is. But he'ssuch a nice man, isn't he.
He's calm, and he's rational andhe's reasonable, none of which I think

(17:38):
works very well with particular crowd he'stalking to. So maybe we should he
should take the Mike Lawler approach.Representative Mike Lawler was a little bit more
harsh with the processors. I wantPalestinians to be free too from their oppressor
Hammas, and every single one ofyou students that support Hamas are an absolute

(18:00):
abomination. It is shameful, shamefulthat you would support a terrorist organization that
butchered and beheaded and burned innocent women, children and babies. I went to
Israel a month after the attack onOctober seventh, and I watched a twenty
one minute unedited video row footage ofthe attack. I watched exactly what Hamas

(18:26):
did, and sadly, sadly, here in America we have students endorsing the
butchering and brutality of a terrorist organization. If you want a cease fire,
the fastest way for a ceasefire tooccur is for Hamas to surrender and to
release the hostages. And if youcan't call for that, you are a

(18:51):
pathetic embarrassment to this institution and tostudents everywhere. Okay, agree with all
that. Of course, It's upto Columbia to do something, and they're
probably the present is sitting around.I imagine her sitting in her office with
her knitting needles, nervously knitting somethingwhile she just tries to ignore what's going

(19:11):
on outside of her door. Well, she's not the knitting type. She's
an activist. I mean, she'san outspoken activist. Sure, yeah,
Well she's going to be an unemployedactivist pretty soon. I don't know.
You don't think you'll think they'll callfor her to her to be fired,
or they'll call for heady calls forher to resign. You know, well
it took a while. It tooka while at Harvard. Columbia has a

(19:32):
long history of being an activist campus. I mean, going back to Vietnam,
this is no different. Again,as we talked about, yes,
right, and and and listen, there's a we still have the First Amendment
in this country. These students havethe right if that's what it is that
they choose to do. This isn'tfree speech, it's not exchange of ideas.
This is chaos. I mean they'resetting up camp on the campus and

(19:52):
they're threatening people. It's threatening. This is true that the threatening part.
Absolutely, he had a lot ofnerve to stand up there in fron a
mob like that. Yeah, you'reright about that. Five twenty seven.
Time to take a look at yourmoney. Here's Scott Carr, Well,
Good morning, Jimmy. Mostly strongearnings reports this week did help out the
major Wall Street indexes post strong gamesfor the first couple of days, but

(20:14):
stocks wavered Wednesday despite more strong reportsearlier games dissolved. The Dow found forty
three points of a tenth of apercent. Some disappointing quarterly results from Meta
Platforms may have set the stage fora rough start to today's trading session on
Wall Street. Investors' concerns over Meta'sbig investments in artificial intelligence outweighed the fact

(20:36):
the social media company posted record revenuefor the first quarter. Features this morning
all point lower, the Nasdaq lowerby more than eight tenths of up percent.
Houston's of Vellow Airlines is casting aneye towards launching some new international flights,
including to Mexico and the Dominican Republicand as it grows its domestic flights.
Avello's already operated some international charter service, but now wants to make it

(21:00):
some scheduled service. They're still evaluatingsome other US destinations meantime. They may
include Baltimore and New York and Washington, d C. I'm Scott Carr,

along with Sheriff rar. Among yourtop stories this half hour, the college
protesting, it's spreading. The Chineseat our border are state sponsored. And
coming up at five thirty eight,a whole new meaning to the term chicken

(21:47):
strips. Details in the minutes ahead. You're in Houston's Morning News. First,
re check out that morning bribe again. Here's sky Mike. All right,
I'm looking at this Macawur wreck onthe South Belt. Which way are
we going here? This is SouthBelt, it's in the feeder road eastbound.
There'll be some reverdecking in the area. There's flashy lights out the wazoo
here. Plus it's also messing upthe entrance ramp. If you're trying to
go over from two eighty eight tothe Gulf Gate side, you'll hit just

(22:10):
a little smush on the main lanes. If that they're trying to open up.
It looks like a right lane.I think everybody's okay though. I'm
the Generator Supercenter dot Com Traffic Centerfrom our KTRH Generator super Center twenty four
hour Weather Center. More clouds thansun today with the high temperature right about
eighty two. We'll get together withTerry Smith here in nine minutes and update
the forecast for you right down temperaturesixty seven at your official severe weather station,

(22:33):
News Radio seven forty KTRH. Itis time now for the news.
Here's Sheriff Ryer. It's five thirtyone now on news Radio seven forty KTRH
is new sponsored by All Star Construction. Our top story this hour. If
we don't bring order to this chaos, it could escalate. I mean clearly.
How Speaker Mike Johnson, he wastalking non Fox after agitators at Columbia

(22:56):
University tried to shout him down duringanti Israel protest yesterday. Columbia administrators,
though once again they've pushed back thedeadline for those protesters to clear out or
be arrested. The deadline now setfor Friday at eight am. Those tents
have to be gone. Will thepolice be called in. Will the National
Guard be called in? Or willit be peaceful? University also saying now

(23:19):
final exams will be hybrid. Thatmeans you can take your final exam in
your dorm room. Man, nocheating there. Steve Harrigan reporting protests continuing
at Yale and Harvard. Others poppedup at USC. Large protests also broke
out at the University of Texas inAustin, one handled differently though DPS troopers

(23:41):
were called in. There feel alot of support from some high individuals at
this university. Students talking to aTV station in Austin, Katie r Agis
Klay Travis says Texas response to thoseprotests is how every state should handle them.
If you've been frustrated at the responsethat you have seen at many of

(24:02):
these universities, Greg Abbott and theState of Texas said, yeah, we
hain'te playing. You can listen toClay and Buck this morning. It's at
eleven here on KTRH. Group ofTexas Democrat State Reps sent a letter to
President Joe Biden calling on him toreassess American aid to Israel because of the

(24:23):
quote ongoing assault on civilians in Gazafact check. After Hemos Terrists murdered and
kidnapped Israelis from a music festival Octoberseventh, hostages still had held so much
for the war in Gaza against terrorism. Too bad. Civilians are a byproduct

(24:47):
a former FBI agents speaking out onwhy the FBI's targeting of Catholics is really
a threat to all Christians and herethat would be former agent Kyle Sarafin.
By targeting them, it was reallya prime to get into Christians at large.
And my belief is is that it'sbecause Christians understand that there is a
higher power than the federal government, that their rights come from God, and

(25:08):
that is something he says, theleft does not want to compete with.
People need to be aware that thisis an American issue that the Five Party,
it's not part of an issue ifyou think that the other team is
getting hammered, so you are beingsuccessful, and history is a stark warning
against that. Just to go tonineteen thirty Germany, we may already be
closer than you think. Jeff Biggs, News Radio seven forty KRH. It's

(25:32):
now five thirty four Manhattan Bookkeeping Show. Trial of Donald Trump resuming this morning
no ruling on a gag order againstthe former president and his legal team.
It's very troubling, as you know, and I know you know it well,
and we're in the fight of ourlives at this moment. Yeah,
so much. Trump legal spokesperson AlenaHaba on Newsmax. He's stuck in New

(25:56):
York while his legal team is inWashington making the case for presidentdential immunity before
the US Supreme Court. You haveto respect that fact in court lest every
president moving forward is going to behobbled by a short awareness of the fact
that anything he or she may docould wind up up bringing that president into
court once that president is no longerin office. Utah Senator Mike Lee are

(26:18):
ruling expected in June. We'll havemore on this at six am. On
our border, yet another warning aboutChinese foreign nationals caught trying to sneak into
this country illegally. China is notactually an easy country just to leave well.
As a citizen, you know, you have to get permission to leave.
And for people coming in these numbers, it's it's got to be state

(26:40):
sponsored. Chris Cabrera with a NationalBorder Patrol Council on newsmacks. President Biden
signs the bill that could ban TikTokdown the road. The social media platform
responds with a threat, we aren'tgoing anywhere. We have confident and we
will keep fighting for your rights inthe courts, the facts in the institution

(27:00):
on all side. That's the CEOof TikTok Shao Shu. The new law
would ban that app in the USunless by dance, the owner with ties
to the Chinese Communist government sells outas ordered to by our conquerors. Five
thirty six is the time continuing thepolitical agenda of anti guns. The CDC

(27:23):
now joins in removes statistics on theuse of guns in self defense by Americans.
You know they're protective after meeting witha private group that's all anti gun.
This is leading to concerns about theCDC's push to gain more power.
Any government agency is going to wantto swim outside of their wane because it

(27:47):
gives them power, and if theyget power, then they get more funding.
Conservative attorney Michelle Maples told k tAsh this is part of the ridiculous
narrative that guns are a disease. The firearm is an inanimate object that can
only have any sort of power ifthere is a human behind it using that
firearm. Maple says, this isjust another example of why Americans need to

(28:08):
be educated on the Shenanigans. InWashington, d C. The Buchanan News
Radio seven forty ktrh Harris County forensicscientists has been fired after failing routine quality
assurance tests. And now it meansthat hundreds of criminal cases may be affected
by it. Among them, getthis the aj Armstrong murder case. Armstrong,

(28:30):
as you may remember, took threetrials, but he was finally convicted
of shooting and killing his parents intheir Bellier home back in twenty sixteen.
Here we go again. It's fivethirty seven. Houston, Texans had the
twenty fifth pick in tonight's first roundof the NFL Draft. It's being held
in Detroit. Jimmy, I'm shipperfriar in news radio seven forty ktrh for

(28:55):
sup Border plug there, silent crimes, Speak up, book, I'm folling.
I look at Joe. Things arehappening. I listen every day because
I got to stay informed on newsradio seven forty ktrh. Polynesians sauce might
work better. Five point thirty eightis their time here in Houston's Morning News.
A Portland strip club, the siteof a recent fatal shooting, has
a new tenant coming in Chick filA. Wow, that's quite a change,

(29:25):
I suggest to the find people atChick fil A have an exorcism performed
on the site before you. Butthose are like franchises, right, yeah,
So is somebody local maybe? Oris are there some people who are
like, well, Chick fil Ais very more nationally tied or something.
Chick fil A is more picky aboutwho operates the restaurants. You have to

(29:47):
you have to. You know, they look at you from A to Z
and all you really do is yourun a franchise from them. You don't
ever really own the franchise. Yeah, but what it says to me is
if it's somebody who's local, issomebody who's standing up and trying to make
a difference, could be and turningthings around. I didn't mean it like
you're gonna have criminals on it.I don't know, like no, and

(30:07):
I get that. I think thatit's interesting that they would pick Portland,
Oregon though, because again, Portlandis one of the most progressively liberal places
in the country. You wouldn't thinkthat that fits very well with a potential
clientele. Are there enough people whocan put politics aside good and enjoy Chick

They were going to try to convertthe existing building, which by the way,

They asked during the twenty twenty election, did you fill out of ballots?
In part or in full on behalfof a friend or family members,
such as a spouse or child.Twenty one percent of those responders said they

(36:30):
had Now, technically that's illegal,You're not allowed to do that. So
yeah, legal is a technicality.Well, then, as it turns out,
it's you know, legal or illegalseems to be defined by you know,
which laws we decide to enforce andwhich laws we choose to ignore.
Steve, when the Sterry joins asformer Texas GOP chairman, are you surprised

(36:50):
that that munch voter fraud exists?Well, none of us should be surprised
voter fraud exists, because our country, unfortunately has a long history of it.
In eighteen seventy six, when PresidentRutherford B. Hayes got elected,
his nickname was his Fraudulentcy and therewere four states that was there was clear
voter fraud. In fact, thestate of South Carolina had over a one

(37:12):
hundred percent turnout in eighteen seventy six. And then here in Texas in nineteen
forty eight, Precinct thirteen in jimWells County, six days after the election,
two hundred and two votes mysteriously turnedout up for LBJ, who ended
up winning by something like eighty sevenvotes, and in nineteen seventy seven,

(37:34):
the election judge Lewis Sallas admitted tothe Associated Press that they stuffed the ballot
box. So unfortunately, it's apart of human nature, a part of
society just cheats. But never hasit been so ingrained and intrenched as it
apparently has become with mail in ballots. Mail and no chain of command,

(37:59):
no chain of control, you know, no verification. I mean, yeah,
So when I was party chairman, that was the number one worry because
fortunately, when I was party chairman, we got voter ID, but that
only works if you vote in person. Now we in Texas, we've done
something. We've added one level ofsecurity, which now you have to add

(38:22):
your driver's license numbers, so peoplehave to know that. But that is
not, you know, one hundredpercent foolproof. So the mail in ballots
can be problematic, no doubt aboutit. So I guess the question today
is it always is, is whatcan we do about it? How do
we stop this? How do weensure fare and free and honest elections?

(38:43):
In Texas we passed a whole varietyof laws that help. Nothing is one
hundred percent fool proof. But weeliminated the twenty four hour of voting,
we eliminated the dropboxes, we gaveextra rights to poll watchers, and now
there's a unit at the Secretary ofState that will audit suspicious counties and also
do random audits. So that's whyin Harris County we know about all the

(39:05):
problems because there's been two audits andthe last one had a whole slew of
problems right there in Harris County.Yeah, but it doesn't change the outcome
of the election unfortunately. You know, these people in the poll, they
said they would love to be ableto vote, or they'd be willing to
go vote in two states. Peoplein El Paso, Texas can do that.
They can cross across the line andvote in New Mexico. You think

(39:27):
a lot of that is going on. Other people said they would not even
hesitate to fill in a ballot forsomebody and deliver it based on their own
personal preferences, or even a fakeballot. I mean, how do you
combat this willingness and the part ofthe citizens to cheat. You know,
personally, I think it's part ofa cultural problem. If you notice the

(39:51):
films in California where hundreds of youngpeople will have these flash kind of flash
mobs to go rob. You know, there's reports at cheating in college,
is in high school is higher thanit was when I was young, and
I really think part of it is, you know, you have to teach,
you have to teach right or wrong, which from the start, which

(40:14):
would which would help. But there'salways going to be an element in our
society that's going to cheat. Andso anybody that thinks that we don't need
these safeguards is very naive. Ithink that element's growing too. Steve,
thanks for joining us. Appreciated.Steve Bennasteriu, former Texas GOP chairman.

As the sham bookkeeking trial of DonaldTrump resumes in Manhattan this morning,

argument, is that everything he's sayingright now is political gag order in effect.
For members of Trump's legal teams too, they can't even speak out against

water tower in America the flooding, you might be able to cause some of
those things hold you know, tensof thousands, hundreds of thousands of gallons
of water, and if you letall the water loose, you can flood
a town out. I would think, So, is this just a show
of force. Let's say, forthe sake of argument, that it was

(55:35):
a we know that a well knownRussian hacking group took responsibility for this.
That I guess it doesn't necessarily makeit so that they actually did this.
But what other explanation would we talkabout? Where it happened? Yeh,
mule Shoe. Yeah, and youknow where Muleshoe is not far from Relublic,
it's not too far from the NewMexico border and anything in New Mexico.
You're talking about Alamagordo, you're talkingabout nuclear facilities, talking about wind

(56:00):
turbines. What else might yeah?Yeah, what else might they? Beginning
into David Malakov joined US Malacote.Actually cybersecurity expert David, Welcome to the
show. First of all, doyou think the Russians did this? Absolutely
so. Our in cybersecurity world,we have what's called indicators of compromise,
which is basically the tactics and techniquesthat these attackers use, and it fingerprints

(56:23):
them. And so in this casewe had the Google Mandian was the researcher.
They were able to see the fingerprintsand track it back to this Russian
group. Is it a group oris it government inspired? In this case,
it is shown to be a group. Now, what we find in
a lot of research is that thegroups tend to just be kind of like

(56:43):
mercenaries almost for governments. So it'stheir their government associated but it's it's it's
tough to say for sure whether ornot it's exactly folks from the government or
not, but typically it's these shadowgroups that work with government entities. Why
would you pick a small town likeMuleshoe if you really wanted to show people
what you're capable of doing, whywouldn't you hit at Dallas or Houston or
someplace like that. Well, Ithink we have a fair amount of resiliency

(57:07):
in the larger, larger counties andthe larger cities. I think with what
I call was Muleshoe or some ofthese other smaller co ops or municipalities,
it's the soft underbelly. They're smaller, they have less resources. Maybe their
cybersecurity maturity is a little less thanwhat you're talking about in the larger cities,
and so they're able to get intothese places and do a little bit

(57:30):
more because of the lack of resourcing. Trial run is it a trial run
or something there? Oh? Atthis point, I mean recently from Director
Ray at the FBI, he indicatedon the Chinese because the Big four that
we usually talk about in cybersecurity orRussia, Iran, China, and North

(57:52):
Korea, and he recently talked abouthow China was in a lot of our
critical infrastructure similar to this and couldcould do a lot of damaging any given
time. So I think there thereis that distinct possibility. I think the
other part of it is is asignal. It's a signal to say,
hey, don't forget about us.You guys are talking a lot about China

(58:15):
right now, You're talking a lotabout other things. Hey, we're over
here dealing with Ukraine, we wantyou to to get that message. Okay,
well, I guess the message youhave received. We'll see what we
can do about it. Though.I mean, at this point, it
seems like these groups, these hackinggroups, are always one step ahead,
certainly of government entities trying to preparefor this. You were mentioning maybe cities

(58:35):
like Houston have a tougher to getinto I'm not so sure. We have
a lot of water department problems inHouston. I'm not so sure they couldn't
get into our water system fairly easily. Are we still going to have to
build border walls around cybersecurity too?Is that what's gonna ultimately have to happen?
Well, and in that case,it's that's a that's a virtual wall,
that's very different. Yeah, exactly, we have those. Yeah,

(58:55):
we have those anyway. Unfortunately, all that is made by humans, and
humans are fallible. Therefore, that'swhy I have vulnerabilities in the code allowing
folks to get in. All right, David, thanks for joining U appreciate
it. David Mellicote, cybersecurity expertat six twenty six. Time to take

earnings reports include American Airlines, Comcast, Caterpillar, and Honeywell. Before markets
open today, the government releases itsinitial estimate of first quarter economic growth.
Economists expect the USGDP group by abouttwo and a half percent in the first
quarter. Ford has posted better thanexpected first quarter results. The automaker's saying

(59:38):
demand for their work trucks especially strongat the start of the year. They
recently redesigned their super duty pickup thatwas a big seller. Ford is retooling
its EV program meantime because the marketfor plugging vehicles, they say, is
slowing down. The Justice Department isconsidering whether to scrap a deferred prosecution agreement

(59:58):
with Boeing the company remains in trouble. The agencies agreed a couple of years
ago to forego criminal charges against Boeingover a couple of fatal jet crashes if
certain conditions were met. That agreementwas near expiration when that door plug blew
out on that Alaska Airlines jet inJanuary. When that renewed the potential for

(01:00:19):
criminal charges and federal prosecutors could decideby early June. Now they say on
whether charges will be brought against Boeing. Futures are all lower this morning.

The college protesting is spreading Chinese atthe border. They're state sponsored and coming

(01:01:08):
up at six thirty eight, they'recalling the police to complain about the cicadas.
Details in the minutes ahead. You'rein Houston's morning News. First,
let's check in with that morning driveinformation here. Skypike Tracing from Cyprus has
got a heads up on two ninetyGood morning, sky miked westbound on the

(01:01:30):
if it's a gasoline tanker or ifit's something carrying milk. All right,
let's hope it's milk, but eitherway, it wouldn't be good to run
over it. Today it's one fortysix league from Chema. Good morning sky
Mike guy hit the concrete stansion turnedaround in the States in the opposite way.
That's going to be one forty sixnorth bound before Port Road. That's

for the news. Here's Sheriff Fryer. Good morning everyone at six point thirty
two on News Radio seven forty KTRH. This news sponsored by all Star Construction.
Our top story this hour, everysingle one of you students that support
humas are an absolute abomination supporting terrorism. New York Republican Congressman Mike Lawler he

(01:02:38):
was putting the anti Israel mob atColumbia University, the agitators there on blast
is House. Speaker Mike Johnson alsomet with Jewish students on campus yesterday.
Speaker Johnson really tried to reaffirm thevalues that we have and that we share,
and that you know the Jewish studentson campus, that you know Congresses

(01:02:59):
will us, and that you knowthey're behind us against these mobs. Yeah,
those Columbia rioters got their deadline pushbackyet again, but they now have
until tomorrow to clear out their socalled liberated zone, all their tents and
their domiciles. They've taken up theoriginal deadline pushed back, as I said,

(01:03:20):
from yesterday, which had been expendedanother forty eight hours. Meantime,
a large anti Israel riot at UTyesterday handled very differently than what we've seen
at Columbia. PPS was brought insome pretty heavily armed officers win the riot
gear, if you will, toclear out the maybe two hundred three hundred
students who gathered right in front ofthe ut Tower. Fox's William la Jeanetz.

(01:03:45):
Now, thirty four people were arrested. The faculty and staff on that
campus do not like that at all. We've been telling you that these college
kids and their outside agitators don't reallyunderstand what the protest is all about,
and even some are admitting now they'reclueless. I honestly don't know. Is

(01:04:06):
there something that NYU's doing. Ireally don't know. I'm pretty sure there.
You know what, why are weprotesting? Yeah? Why are we
protesting Joe Biden's FBI assault on Catholics. It's a threat to all Christians and
Americans. We find my point inthat particular article is that all of us

(01:04:28):
are at risk if we accept thefact that civil liberties are not a left
versus right issue. Yeah. That'sa former FBI agent, Kyle Sarafin.
He says it's about God to becomean issue, a role that the left
wants to keep for itself. I'malways reminded of this Martin Nimo or poem.
It's written on the wall at theHolocaust Memorial Museum. When they came
to the Catholics, if you saidnothing because you were not a Latin mask

(01:04:50):
Catholic. It eventually ends in theycome for you and there's no one to
speak for you. Yeah, Seraphimsays the FBI's Richmond Memo proves it because
it's already happening. Six point thirtyfour is our time. Supreme Court hearing
arguments surrounding idaho near total abortion banyesterday. Idaho's law, which took effect

(01:05:12):
in twenty twenty two, prohibits abortionswith exceptions for saving the life of a
mother and reported cases of rape orincest. The Biden administration suing, alleging
it conflicts with the Emergency Medical Treatmentand Labor Act and TALA, which requires
emergency room doctors to stabilize patients, even if that means terminating a pregnancy.
That's Kristin Goodwin reporting. High Courtwill hear Donald Trump's case on presidential immunity

(01:05:38):
oral arguments at nine am this morning. Could impact several of the cases against
him. I think the presidential immunityquestion is fairly broad ultimately, and you
know, Donald Trump may be immunefrom whatever Jack Smith has accused him of.
Former acting you as Attorney General,Matt Whittaker. Trump will not be

(01:05:59):
at that hearing today because the showtrial and the judge requiring him to be
in Manhattan on that accounting issue caseforces him to stay there. Former National
Inquirer publisher David Pecker will be backon the witness stand. It's not unlawful
to suppress a story. Joe Bidendid it in the twenty twenty election suppressing

(01:06:23):
the laptop story. Juan Marshawn iseither ignorant of the law. I think
he's horribly biased, probably both.Lee excuse me, Legal analyst Greg Jarrett
there. The testimony resumes a thirtythis morning hour time. TikTok is going
to fight the possible ban on itsservices here in America after new legislation was

(01:06:45):
signed by President Joe Biden. TheSenate passed it earlier this week. Texas
Senator Ted Cruz, though voted againstit. I struggled for a long time
with how to vote because there areelements of this bill I really really strongly
support. Yeah, he says hevoted no because of the lack of border
funding being provided in the overall bill. The bill forces TikTok's parent company to

(01:07:11):
sell, divest, to sell itsinvestment because of its ties to the Chinese
Communist government lost in the shuffle ofthe Trump trial, college campus riots,
the border crisis, it's spiraling outof control. They're coming because we're allowing
it. We made the process easier. Most of them don't even have to
get smuggled anymore. Border patrol agentChris Cabreri told newsbacks he believes the number

(01:07:34):
of Chinese illegal aliens invading are actuallystate sponsored. It's just because there's so
many fallout from a Democrat judge droppingstate rioting charges against more than one hundred
illegal aliens. You know, theones who bum rushed the officers there in
El Paso. They were caught oncamera doing it, storming the border in

(01:07:56):
Olpasso last month. Well, thedistrict Attorney, Bill Hicks took to a
grand jury, and yes, they'regoing to be held accountable in Texas.
So it's a Class B misdemeanor. It's up to one hundred and eighty days
in the county jail and up toa two thousand dollars fun After a meeting
with private gun control lobbyists, theCDC has removed statistics on how firearms can

(01:08:21):
be used for self defense, notjust in committing crimes. So now the
CDC is basically being the puppet ofthese gun control activists by hiding data and
hiding data that shows that the defensiveuse of a gun is a very,
very common occurrence. Conservative attorney MichelleMaples told kt RH, it's just shows

(01:08:46):
you that Americans need to be educatedon issues and not just windly trusting data
even from the CDC. I'm sureffRyer and News Radio seven forty KRH,
now's the time to stuck up onsavings for all your spring cravings at specs.
Cheers to savings. This is thespeed of life and it's changing fast.

(01:09:06):
Freak for an update at the topend. Thirty minutes past the hour,
unlock the Keith on news radio sevenforty KGRH six thirty nine is our
tied here on Houston's morning news. All right, Well, the cicadas are
out in some places right now, including South Carolina, where the noise is
such that citizens have been calling thepolice department to complain. Yeah, there's

(01:09:29):
this weird little siren kind of Idon't know what what is that. It's
cicadas. Please don't call the policedepartment to complain about cicadas. There's it's
it's nature. And there's nothing wecan do about it, okay, so
please stop calling us. You wouldthink in South Carolina they have cicadas on

(01:09:53):
an annual basis. You would thinkeverybody would know what it is. But
you know, to call the policedepartment, it's not going to do any
good. By the way, they'rereally getting hammered in places like South Carolina
because they've got there, uh thatthat other brood that's getting ready to emerge
here. Yeah, two different varietiesof cicadas who have met, and they're
all gonna be making noise at thesame time. So if they think it's
loud, now it's gonna get awhole lot louder. I don't think cicadas

(01:10:15):
live very long. It's mating thatthey come out to mate. Yes,
it's the male that's making all theracket. It usually is calling out for
the female. Hey, come onhere, I have something for you.
What up, girl, Come outover here. Huh. This get busy
and it's gonna be. It's gonnabe around for a while. You just
kind of have to get used toit and you have to deal with it.

(01:10:38):
I don't mind the noise of thecicadas. I associate it with summertime.
Yeah, it's the it's the youknow, crunching of the cicadas when
you're driving over them and they're inthe streets and they're everything, and they're
everywhere that you know, that crunchingnoise kind of gets to after a little
while. We had to sleep withour windows in the summertime. Yeah,
so you'd hear everything, of course. Yeah, a small town. Oh

(01:11:00):
yeah, if you didn't have airair conditioning, get get all of other
nature's noises. Maybe that's the problem. Maybe that's why they're getting in those
pleas the air conditioner in the window. Kids didn't. Yeah. I think
maybe what happened here is maybe thatyou just may be onto something here.
Maybe the reason why they're getting somany calls is they're getting calls for from
people who have never had an openwindow in their life. They go right

(01:11:20):
from heating season to air conditioning season, and they never go outside. Do
you ever see young people outside anymore? They probably don't know what mother nature
sounds like anymore. Six forty onetime for traffic and whether to getting calls.
By the way, the two ofyou just, you know, just
keep it going, okay, Skyboy, extra smoothness coming out of that studio
we've got. First of all,I want to tell you about Tip White.

(01:11:41):
I need a little extrae help thismorning. I'm missing my work wife,
Christina Cruz. And also jump in. Joe's working with those two dinosaur
parts across the street, so hemust be horribly bored. We've got a
new problem popping up, Steve fromsouth Shore. Your call was inaudible,
but I know what you're talking about. Golf Freeway southbound. Did you know
Texas City has a sea wall.Yeah, that's where the railroad is.

(01:12:01):
It's right before Highway six. Thisis all lanes blocked. This accident.
That doesn't look like anything good's happeninghere. We're backed up southbound from five

We'll see if we can get yousome exact laneage at six fifty. Let's
see what in the heck is goingon there. Megad from Keema banana sticker

All quiet around here, including theweather. Yeah, our weather's fairly quiet
the rest of this week, andthen we start to get some rain the
early part of next week. Definitelyfeeling a little more summer ish with the
warmer temperatures in the humidity, sothat's probably contributing to the cicadas making their

(01:13:29):
racket load to mid eighties today. No rain tomorrow. Twenty percent chance of
a thunder shower, no rain Saturday. Saturday is warmer, mid to upper
eighties. Then we've got a fiftypercent chance of showers and storm Sunday,
Monday, more rain Tuesday and Wednesday. Right down sixty seven at your officials,

where it's happening. It's happening atthe Ivy League schools, It's happening in
the Midwest, it's happening in California. Now you know where it's not really

(01:14:11):
happening outside of maybe one pro Ifyou're going to consider we don't really consider
Texas the south, right chair,we consider it the west. But Texas
about the only place south of theMason Dixon line that's seeing any of this
protesting going on. It's happening attop tier schools. So yeah, I
mean UT has a huge endowment. You know, it's like second only.
I think to Harvard, they've hadprofessors, they've got graduate school. I

(01:14:33):
mean, Texas is such a bigsystem and is so wealthy that it's the
faculty and it's the way they've taught, is the way they've been doctrinate of
the students. Texas is always alittle bit liberal, but boy, they've
just gone full of tilt. Well, Guy Benson had an observation about the
fact that you don't see any ofthis happening at an SEC school. We'll
have more on that story coming upin just a second. Yeah, first

(01:14:56):
of all, we've got traffic andwhether together we are checking out the drive
where we have problems in the canyon. Sky Mike, you know what we
have suckage in the canyon. Whatit actually is, Jimmy, this time

off the exit for the Zoo.McGregor, I know it's the met Center.
It's a right lane and this ismessing up to eighty eight from forty
five. It's also messing up Isixty nine year East tex all the way

who that is. We'll try that. It's an accident right before Highway six
taking up a left lane. GolfFreeway completely shut down just south of Texas

going on at the University of Alabamaor any other SEC school right now?
And Guy Benson on Fox has atheory behind some of this stuff. Do
you think it's much worse than theseelite schools. I'm a Big Ten guy.
I went to Northwestern, which islike the nerd school by hats Go
Cats. They've been awful on thisissue, unfortunately, so sort of on
brand on trend. There was ananalysis of like by Sports Conference, how

(01:17:36):
many of the schools are under investigationfor anti Semitism. The IVY League had
more than half, the Big Tenhad quite a few, The SEC in
the Southeast had zero. Of thosesixteen schools. There's something to be said
there. And here's one thing, and this is like a very I think
sort of superficial point because it's avery serious problem. But part of college.

(01:17:59):
Of course, learning is paramount. But it's supposed to be fun too,
and nothing about this stuff is funon these campuses. It is exhausting,
it's awful, it's bigotry on parade, and for my money, it's
a lot less money to go tosome of these schools down south. First
of all, it seems like ifyou're gonna be a huge group of people
gather together screaming something on a lawn, one side is doing it against the

(01:18:25):
Jews and in favor of terrorists, and other schools are doing it because they
stormed the field after a football win. That's the one I want to be
at. And I think most Americansa great wage. I think there's a
lot to that. You know.I would say at UT is not so
much anti Semitic as it is.It's just protest. I was at UT
during the Vietnam War protest. It'sjust the same group of liberal attitudes,

(01:18:45):
and as the liberal nature of thatcampus, I don't think it's necessarily but
the cause of the day is antiIsrael. I get it. You know,
don't even know what we're real You'republisher is fun now they paid me

(01:22:23):
is wrong, the case is wrong, and he's not receiving due process.
Yeah. One time attorney Michael Avinattiwas Donald Trump's number one enemy, remember,
but from jail where he's ripping theshow trial in Manhattan now and says
he'd be willing to testify. Youknow, he represented misrepresented Stormy Daniels.

(01:22:45):
I'd handle it directly, I'd handleit truthfully, and I can promise you
that I'd be a hell of alot better witness than Michael Cohen could ever
hope to be. Yeah. Testimonyresumes eight thirty. US Supreme Court also
hearing the arguments today from Trump's attorneyson residential immunity. Would it impact the
other witch hunts against him? Itwould as well as Ultimately, Trump argues

(01:23:08):
bring potential charges against other presidents pastin future. If the president doesn't have
immunity, it could determine whether Trumpfaces a federal trial this year on four
felony accounts. A decision from thecourt could come any time before the end
of June, and if the Justiceis ruled that Trump is immune, well,
you might not expect a trial tohappen at all. Fox is Kevin

(01:23:30):
Cork there. Trump prevented from attendingtoday's Supreme Court arguments. He also can't
campaign while his trial continues there inManhattan, but he's found a way to
campaign anyway. Normally, a Democratwill win New York. Biden is the
worst president in history, and wehave some very bad people here, but

(01:23:51):
we have the greatest people that areright behind me New York. We have
a good chance of winning New Yorkin my opinion, but we're going to
give it a shot. He wasat a construction site on the streets of

(01:24:13):
with Omega for America, who's awatchdog says Democrats have a new scheme in
order to get votes and a numberof the states. What the lessons are
doing is they're putting on abortion measureson a ballot so that people will be
driven for a type of strategy. And he added, they've already started registering

(01:24:33):
illegal aliens to vote in Michigan andWisconsin. Doesn't mean that they'll physically go
vote, but once their names areon the rolls, somebody else can vote
for them. US Supreme Court hasdismissed an attempt by three individuals here to
mess with the Texas voter integrity laws. High Court refusing the attempt to override
the law that limits voting by mailabsentee ballots by age. That sort of

(01:24:59):
thing. Democrat scheme is to bringuniversal vote by mail to the lone Star
state. Would you be surprised howmany Americans are fine with that? Willing
to cheat in elections? Rasmussen Reportssays twenty eight percent of voters would be
willing to commit voter fraud to helptheir preferred candidate. Former Texas gopchair Steve
Monastery says voter fraud is as oldas elections. There was evidence of fraudulent

(01:25:23):
activity here in Texas during the LBJAera. There's problems in Illinois with the
daily machine. So it's not aquestion of whether you will get people to
cheat. The question is whether youwill prevent people from cheating. Solutions are
things like voter ID and limiting mailin ballots, which Texas has done.
I believe the state of Texas hasled the nation on trying to make our

(01:25:43):
elections more secure. Poll found onein ten would even pay another voter.
Corey Jolson, who's radio seven fortyKTRH. Well, Joe Biden is out
campaigning but losing yet another battle withthe teleprompter. Imagine what we can do
next four more years? A pausehas written instructions after he says four more

(01:26:11):

to take over parts of the UTAustin campus yesterday. DPS troopers called in

(01:27:23):
most Americans shouldn't be too concerned, but it is a good idea to be
prepared. Have your drinking water, always have supplies just in case. President
Biden calls it a war on therich. But you're rich if you have
had a lot of gain in yourhome that you bought forty years ago,
and if you've made money in yourstock accounts, your investments, the risk

(01:27:44):
you take his proposal now, he'sgoing to increase top capital gains rate to
forty four point six percent, andit would be the highest in a century

The twenty seventeen tax bill was somethingthat was for you know, billionaires

But the real facts are ninety onepercent of Americans were who benefited from all
of the Trump tax cuts. Theyexpire in twenty twenty five unless he gets

the entire United States budget on blockchainfor transparency. He says, for those
by the way, if you're notfamiliar with what a blockchain is, and

(01:29:14):
I certainly would not consider myself byany means any sort of an expert on
a blockchain. Basically, it's asystem where with a record of transactions.
This this is how they keep trackof cryptocurrency is on a blockchain. So
what you'd be doing is you'd beuploading all this information and then they would
be shared with a computer network. If you're a part of the blockchain,
you get to look at it.Anything that's in the blockchain, including the

(01:29:35):
US budget. I can't even imaginehow much how much space the US budget
would take up anywhere? But doesit? Is it an idea? Even
if you wanted to do something likethat? Does it make sense to do
something like that? Stuart Varney talkedabout it with the Public Ventures president lou
Benice. Here they are discussing theblockchain idea. He says, and I'm

(01:29:56):
quoting now, I'm going to putthe entire US budget on blockchain so that
any American, every American can lookat every budget item in the entire budget
anytime they want, twenty four hoursa day. Well, what do you
think to that? Bring it on? But it's never going to happen like.
I love this for two reasons. One, we need accountability and transparency
in government. Obama said he wasgoing to be the most transparent president.

(01:30:17):
No one's transparent in government. Buthere's the other thing. We need a
real use for the blockchain. I'vealways been a negative on bitcoin and cryptos,
but really bullish on the blockchain andthe underlying ledger technology. So government
accounting great applicude would it look?I mean, it would absolutely put the
budget on blockchain. Does that meanthat I can read any section of it,
Yes, and get to it realfast. Yes. And think about

(01:30:39):
this, Everyone verifying those transactions willbe paying attention to every independent transaction and
alerting it. It would be likecrowdsourcing things and red flagging things that might
be a little bit wasteful spending.I think it's a great idea, but
what are the probabilities of RFK beingin the presidency to make it happen.
It's interesting idea, I'll give that, Tom. I don't see the USA
ever beent ever wanting to have thata little transpercial I mean, the way

(01:31:00):
things are moving into the future,it's really fascinating to me. And once
the idea is out there, itdoesn't have to be somebody. It doesn't
have to be RFA who gets allegedto make it happen. RCT. It's
fascinating to me that you could actuallyquickly access any part of the US budget.
Now, I don't know how yougo about. I mean, it's
so in depth. There's so muchstuff they do that on purpose. The

(01:31:21):
thro it all that I know,but I don't know. I still don't
know how you'd be able to find, you know, specific things you might
be looking for. But it mightset up a watchdog of people who actually
get involved in looking over the budget, looking for how many things they've thrown
into those thousand page, trillion dollarsthings that they pass in the dead of
night. Right we find out whenit comes back to bite exactly people.

three now here in Houston's morning Dudes, So is this a winning strategy state
ballot initiatives to get you to showup at the polls? Joining us to
talk about Jay Valentine Omega for Americaand if it is a winning strategy,
Jay, let me throw this inas well. If it is a winning
strategy, who do you think ifanybody has the advantage Because the Democrats seem
to have the abortion issue working forthem, and while Republicans seem to have

(01:37:00):
issues like voter integrity and election integrityworking for them, well, both sides
have people that are going to votetheir way at the polls. The difference
is that the Democrats have ballot manufacturingoperations in every one of the swing states.
So when Democrats show up at thepolls, for every vote you get

(01:37:23):
one point twenty five votes when Republicansshow up at the polls, for every
vote you get maybe one. Sowhen you have the ability to manufacture ballots
that don't exist for people who areno longer there and to cast them for
your initiative, you have a builtin advantage. And we can prove that
is happening in every one of theswing states except the No courts ever want

(01:37:45):
to let you provide it. Itseems like court after court just throws that
out. It's really a thing aboutenthusiasm. They can cheat if they don't
have that enthusiastic response. So ifyou can get them all, it's not
about the issue, it's about it'sthe only thing that people on the left
appear passionate about. I would thinkthat they put some kind of initiatives about
anti Israel on this ballot too, seeing what's happening with these protests. Now,

(01:38:11):
well, they'll do things like that, but you can't overestimate the impact
that being able to vote for peoplewho aren't at a specific address anymore.
That impact is really great. Sowe're going to see that in some states,
in Michigan and Arizona, some otherstates. Yeah, the fact that
you have an abortion ballot initiative onthere is going to raise the level of

(01:38:36):
visibility and get more people out tovote, that's for sure. But the
real impact are the fake ballot operationsthat are in place right now in every
single swing state. That's the thingthat makes the difference. So no matter
what the Republicans win by, ifthey win Arizona by four to five points,

(01:38:56):
there is enough fraud built into theArizona system that they still would not
be able to carry that state. So the only way for Republicans to win
is to win big. And Iguess the question really big, and maybe
that's where these state initiatives come in, is that it diminishes the chances of
a really big turnout for the otherguy. Well, it does, and

(01:39:17):
it's certainly going to have a disproportionateimpact in the swing states. And if
you notice, that's where they're havingballot initiatives in the swing states. And
apparently Biden wants to go ahead anddo an executive order blanket amnesty of what
a million this is what I'm readingnow illegal aliens before the election, so

(01:39:40):
we can get their names and therules too. Yeah, I mean I
don't think that would help. Yeah, just a little. You know,
you're not making it. Is thereeven any point in having an election if
it's going to be so cheated on? Oh the thing's visibility. How many
people really know how bad it is? Well, not that many. And

(01:40:00):
so what teams like ours are doing. I mean literally right now, right
now, when you call it,I am looking at my computer, and
I'm a computer. We have builtthe NGO tracking system non governmental organization,
and right now we are tracking moneythat's come in from communist China twenty three
million dollars worth, and that isgoing to these get out the vote organizations

(01:40:21):
for all these leftist causes in theSwin States. Well, we think that's
pretty powerful information and we're going tobe publishing that kind of information here very
very soon. So I don't wantto sound like everything's terrible. It is.
I mean, there's fraud in thetwenty twenty four election to the nth
degree, but there are groups whoare making this stuff public and we believe

(01:40:45):
when it's made public, people willreact and that well, there will be

It's seven thirty eight is our timehere in Houston's Morning News. I
found I don't know why I foundthis interesting, but I did so I
thought i'd share it. The bestway to store hot sauce. Do you

(01:50:16):
need to refrigerate it? Nope, refreshly made. We're talking about the bottled
in the canned forms, correct, right, And it's true virtually, I
guess it depends on the hot sauce. Yeah, not all of them.
For example, Tabasco is made fromjust three ingredients oak barrel age peppers,
non eyed eye salt into stilled whitevinegar. You know, the vinegar and

(01:50:39):
the salt act as preservatives anyway,so there's really nothing in there to go
bad when you think about it.Therefore, Tabasco sauce, for example,
doesn't need to be stored in therefrigerator. They say, keep it in
a cool, dark place, right, don't expose it to sunlightly cool.
That could be in your pantry,That could be in a cupboard unless the

(01:51:00):
power goes out in December time, right, you can. You can put
it in the fridge if you want, But some people prefer it to be
the room temperature they like the flavorbetter when this room temperature. For example,
there are some bottled brands I'm thinking, like green sauces, because they've
got creams or something in them thator something that have fruit in them.
They have a shelf life and youhave to keep them refrigerator. Yeah.

(01:51:21):
Well, Tabasco turns out has ashelf life too, is about about five
years. But if you're somebody whoreally likes has one that long. If
you're really like it, you probablyhave Tabasco. You probably use it.
Yeah, if you have five yearold Tabasco, then chances are you don't
like spicy stuff and you probably don'tneed to be buying that anymore. Well,
it's only good good information for astockpiler like me. You are,
