Republican National Convention, Big night tonight, with the former president speaking out accepting
the nomination to run officially against JoeBiden for President of the United States.
RNC Committee woman Debbie George Gattis joinsus for Milwaukee. You know, Debbie,
this whole convention has a different feelabout it. It has been inspirational,
it has been entertaining, it hasbeen positive and uplifting. I think

a lot of people are surprised hetook that tone, especially after what happened
to the President on Saturday. Absolutelytrue. Good morning, Jimmy and Sarah.
You know, it's amazing. Everyword you just said was my list
of adjectives I was going to throwin. It has been kind of emotional,
too, many of these speakers andgold Star families is emotional. It's

uplifting. It's just electric. AndPresident Trump showed up. He actually has
been at the convention about halfway throughyesterday and the day before, so he's
been there kind of watching it camerapans to him. It's like a giant
United Family feel the everyday American speeches, the people coming on the people who've

been forgotten. Now I've covered alot of presidential conventions, and I have
just never seen anything like this interms of real people having a voice and
the personalities that the personages, thefamily stories. It's just an amazing thing
to me. I've just never seenanything like it. Could not agree more.

It's just it reflects thorough planning andtrying to get the message of the
Republican Party to average Americans watching.And so they're presenting, as you're saying,
average Americans telling their stories about heartlosing children to fentanyl because of the
open border and the failure to protectAmerican citizens from the fentanyl. They just

there the messages by really is now? I think in the dozens of everyday
Americans telling their stories, they're justheartwarming. And honestly, the entire room
feels like it's just focused and listeningclosely to this presentation of what the Republican
Party is saying America is and couldbe, you know, Debbie, Since
the assassination attempt, we're told thatthe President has gone back and he has

completely rewritten a whole new speech witha whole different tone to it. What
are you expecting here tonight? Whatdo you want to hear tonight? I
want to say one thing about thateven the look in his face when he
first walked out the first time thepeople at the Commission saw him coming on
camera, he looked emotional. Helooked and you know, I'm sure obviously
he has been in pain because ofhis ear being hit, and so he

looked like tender. He looked attender person who was coming out grateful for
to be alive. And what Ireally think I hear tonight is the man
who just loves this country. Thatstart with that message comes out from so
many speakers. He just loves Americaand he wants America to be so much
better than it is right now whenthere Joe Biden's presidency, and he's going

to tell us life doesn't have tobe the way it is with open border
and all the problems that Biden administrationhas caused the economy. He's just going
to have an upbeat. We canbe a better America. I think it's
going to feel very unifying to theAmerican people. Well, he's been demonized
for seven years by the left,by the media, by Hollywood, by

the Democrats. Every chance I have, he's been totally humanized. Now that
is a great word, humanized.And you know who else said that his
granddaughter, his oldest granddaughter, Kaiwho is the daughter of Don Junior,
spoke last night, and honestly,any parent, grandparent in America would be

thrilled to have a fourteen year oldgranddaughter talk about her grandfather that way.
It came across as so genuine.She just loves her grandfather. Was very,
very humanizing. He's a great wordsHereah, and the look on his
face, the bride on his facewhile he listened to her. I mean,
I get thinking, I wonder ifJoe Biden's going to have Hunter Comme
Mountain speak for him. I don'tknow if it'll so well, Yeah,

maybe his granddaughter will come out whilewe're at it. All right, Thank
