(00:00):
Okay, seven fifty. Now,let's welcome Chris Bagalla, political analyst,
to the program, live from CostaRica with analysis of the breaking news.
Chris, good morning, Thank goodmorning. How are y'all. We're doing
great, Thanks for being here. It's Bob France in for Jimmy along with
Serah and I am told that youmade a prediction many many many months ago,
(00:20):
in fact, over a year agonow that Joe Biden would not make
it to this to this general election, and as of yesterday you were right.
What's your read? Well, youknow, I just thought it was
not going to happen, even thoughthe media, you know, the White
House mostly almost every single Democrat, tried to hide President Biden's you know,
(00:42):
issues with his mental acuity. Iwas not surprised. Clearly, since June
twenty seventh, the tube was outof the toothpaste. The media turned on
him immediately, as did the elitewhoever is running this country, because God
blessing, we know Joe Biden isn't. But I was not surprised. You
(01:03):
know, I still think Kamala Harrishas has some work to do. Clearly,
the Biden endorsement is strong. TheClinton's endorsement both Hillary and President Bill
Clinton is much stronger, and she'sgot some strong support already from the Democrats
in the House and whatnot, Soshe's not there yet. It's turning on
(01:26):
a dime. This uh, thiselection. I think you're going to see
a lot more chaos. But Ido think Kamala Harris is gonna is going
to be at the top of theticket. But in the meantime, it
prevents the Republicans from making any headway. The momentum is stopped in terms of
talking about what's wrong with this countryand what needs to be done to fix
(01:46):
it, because all the speculation onmainstream media and even some of the lesser
vans has been about it's going tobe nothing, NonStop about who's going to
be running and who's going to bethe running rate. We don't talk about
it illegal immigration anymore, right, and the share You're right, it's going
(02:06):
to take a lot of the oxygenout of the room on critical issues.
But I think that the Trump campaignhas done a great, great, great
job on sticking to the issues, and they're turning more to got a friend
here on the porch here, butthey're turning to Kamala I think they are.
(02:27):
And I think after some of thisoxygen gets out of the room,
maybe in a few weeks, everybodystill is going to be focusing on what
your trip to the grocery store, the gas station where else. Everything is
more expensive, And I think they'regoing to also turn to border and those
issues that will get there. It'sjust going to be a little bit later
than normal. Well, I thinkthey hit it pretty hard. Actually yesterday
(02:51):
the very I mean the day ofthe announcement. By last night they had
an ad released, a thirty secondad by a Trump pack crushing Kamala,
obviously pointing out that she was partof the cover up of the Joe Biden
cognitive decline, but then also hittingthe policy, saying she owns them,
including border and inflation, every bitas much as Joe Biden does. So
I don't think they're letting too muchgrass grow underneath their feet here. Now,
(03:13):
I agree Bob, and I thinkthey've done a good job already,
and previous over the last two weeks, they were doing the same thing.
Look, inflation's a disaster, theborder security is a disaster, the disasters
on foreign policy, Kamala Harris isa part of all of that, and
that's what the Trump campaign has done, and that's what we're gonna do.
(03:34):
That's what they're gonna do even moreso in the future. And also they've
taken a few digs, you knowwhat, interesting thoughts from Kamala and you
know, a little bit of satirethere, but showing some of her gaffs
as whatnot. But I think that'llcontinue. The Trump campaign has done a
very good job. They're gonna sitback a little bit right now leading up
(03:55):
to the Democratic Convention because I thinkthey're still so chaos to ensue. We'll
see, and then who's going tobe the second person on the ticket?
If Kamala Harris is the presidential candidatefor the Democrats, who's going to be
the second And it's also possible.I don't think it's going to happen,
but it's possible that President Biden couldstep aside and Kamala Harris could be president
(04:21):
in a few months and therefore getit maybe a little extra boost. Yeah,
you know, she's basically an underdogright now. Her own party is
making her sort of an underdog.Trump's got to be very careful. He
can't attack an underdog because America doesn'tlike that. Stick to the issues,
and I think they will, aswe say in Texas, stick to your
knitting. And I think President Trumpand this overall campaign is going to do
(04:46):
a very good job. And Ithink jd. Bance even goes higher now.
He's going to be so impressive outthere on the campaign trail. He
has already whoever they put up againsthim on the other side I don't think
can stand up to him. Hisstory is amazing. He's an exceptional communicator.
I think the choice that Donald Trumpmade for jd. Vance is an
(05:09):
excellent one. I do too,and I think it's JD Vance is probably
very disappointed he may not get tostand across a debate because I think he
was looking forward to that. Andlook at his jobs. After what Tulca
Gabbert did to her in twenty nineteen, you can imagine what JD Vance would
have done to her and a vicepresident. I wonder if should be bothering
to even debate with Donald Trump nowhe says he wants the next debate to
(05:29):
be at Fox, not ABC.Right, He's got conditions now since they
pulled it out from underneath them bybooting Joe Biden. He said, now
it's on my terms and this iswhat I want. So we'll see if
it even comes to pass. ChrisPagala, thank you for the analysis there
from Costa Rica. We appreciate anice job on the prediction. You nailed
it. Let me know when you'replaying the lottery next time, and I
want the numbers right. Thanks y'all,
