(00:00):
Okay, so there's a split inthe Republican party. You just heard what
Scherff said. Donald Trump told thatFox and Friends this morning he does not
want the twenty fifth Amendment used toreplace Obama but Biden. But his VP
JD. Vance has said several timesover the last few days that he believes
Joe Biden should be gone. Ifyou can't run for president, you should
not be able to be president.Ted Cruz and many others have said the

(00:20):
same thing. So what does thislook like? Jared woodfille joins us now
attorney president of Conservative Republicans of Texas. Jared, good morning, Good morning,
Bob. Great to be with youand Shara this morning. Good to
have you. First of all, explain who could if they wanted to invoke
the twenty fifth Amendment. It's notsomething Republicans have a decision on anyway.

(00:41):
That's exactly exactly right now. Thetwenty fifth Amendment's broken up into four sections.
But the section that's applicable what we'redealing with today is section four.
That's where a declaration has to beissued that the president is not able to
discharge the powers and duties at hisoffice. The problem is the only group
that can do that is the vicepresident and a majority already at the cabinet,
And I don't think Kamala Harris andPresident Biden's cabinet is any there's any

(01:04):
chance that they're going to do that, So the issue is probably moved.
It's almost a waste of time toeven be arguing it, isn't it.
It takes the focus off. Youknow, we've got Kamala Harris here in
Houston today and she is pulling inmoney, she's pulling in excitement, she's
helping the down ballot tickets. She'sa direct threat to everything the Republicans have

(01:26):
tried to vote for and work tobuild in this state. Well, you're
absolutely right, sure, I meanit is almost a new point. It
is does distract from the underlying issuesthat you just described, because I mean,
we've got a situation here where everybodyknows that President Biden isn't able to
discharge the powers and duties of hisoffice. I mean, he can't run
a campaign, how can he bepresident? But we also know that there's

(01:47):
an election going on and the lastthing that they're going to do at this
point in time is have Kamala Harrisand the majority of the Cabinet come in
and say, hey, we're rebookingyou of President Biden. So yes,
I think it is a distract andwe need to be focusing on how Kamala
Harris has a record that's just atrocious. I mean, this is an individual
who's the boat borders are and wehave the worst border situation we've seen in

(02:08):
the history of our country. Imean, and so let's not talk about
the twenty fifth Amendment at this pointin time. Let's talk about winning this
election to making Donald truck the nextpresident United States. I think that's right.
I don't think the twenty fifth Amendmentis is really worth talking about here.
But the suggestion that he should retireon his own, literally end his
presidency now, is a different question. Last night, he sounded in that

(02:29):
speech from the Oval Office exactly asbad and as haggard and as slurry and
as confused as he and this isreading off of the teleprompter as he did
during the debate, that he ultimatelyended his career here, or at least
ended his re election campaign. Soif he cannot even function, you know,
like you say, to run acampaign, can he actually run the
country for six months? A lotof damage can be done in that time.

(02:53):
Well, the better question is hashe been running the country for the
past four years. I don't thinkso. I think there's other folks that
have been running it. That beKamala Harris, whether that be Barack Obama.
This man was never qualified to runthis country, and over the past
three and a half years, we'veseen that cognitive decline get worse. I
mean it was exemplified for the wholeworld to see in the debate just a

(03:14):
few months ago, and now wesaw it again last night. So every
time he takes the podium we seefurther evidence of his cognitive disclient. So,
no, he is not able toand has not been able to run
this country for a long time.Others have been doing it for him,
and we see the lie. Wesee the lie of the Democrats and how
they have covered for him while theywent ahead and kept the power to themselves.

(03:37):
Well, that's exactly right, Sharon. The party is all about lies
and cover ups. I mean we'veseen that for the past three and a
half years. We saw that inPresident Trump when President Trump was president.
I mean, this party cares aboutone thing, and that's power, regardless
of who's at the helm, whetherthat be someone who has the inability to
actually serve. All they care aboutis power, and that's been exposed to

(03:59):
the whole country, and hopefully onNovember fifth, we will send a very
clear message to President Biden and theDemocrats that this isn't about power. This
is about allowing someone to run thiscountry who will do the best job,
and that's Donald Trump. Jared, last thing for you on this. I
mean, there are a lot ofthings about Kamala Harris's record that the Republicans
are going to exploit over the courseof the four months of this campaign that
are left here, But among themis just a straight up likability factor.

(04:21):
Everyone has been focusing a lot ofpeople have been focusing on ninety two percent
staff turnover eight since she became vicepresident. Her staff cannot stand her,
Nobody likes to work with her. They endure relenting, relentless criticism. And
more so, the likability factor isgoing to play as much I think of
a role in this as the record. Well, that's exactly right. I

(04:44):
mean, over the past twenty fourforty eight hours, you've had this love
fest with the media that's going tobe exposed over the next month or so.
I so give it a little bitof time. We all know is
that she's been hiding in the backgroundwhile President Trump and President Biden been getting
all the tension. But now thatshe is the arguably the presumptive nominee,
because I think she has the delegates, I think you're going to see the

(05:06):
real Kamala Harris. That's someone who'sprone to verbal gaps, someone who's not
likable, someone who had huge turnoverin her staff, and someone who's just
not qualified to run this country. So the whole world, in the whole
country wills I think we'll see thatover the next month or two. Jared
wood Fille, attorney, a presidentof Conservative Republicans of Texas. Great analysis,
Thank you, Jared, Thank you, Bob a Chaer. I appreciate
